WWE Monday Night Raw 5/31/10 Results

R Truth defeated Chris Jericho
Santino & Eve defeated Maryse & William Regal
Daniel Bryan defeated The Miz
John Cena & Evan Bourne defeated Edge & Sheamus

WWE Monday Night Raw 5/31/10 Review

I almost forgot that Raw was on tonight, as I’ve been jaded by wrestling lately, but I managed to check it out, and here’s my thoughts, and what not.

The Show opened up with Edge beating up Evan Bourne, but Bourne started to fight back and Edge was taking shots and looked weak against the high flyer. It’s important to understand that this was not a match, it was just the beginning of Raw. Bourne missed the shooting star press, and Edge got his bearings back only to hit the spear.

Edge got on the mic, and it was boring, I don’t like Edge right now, he’s not that great. Edge went on and on about the Fatal Fourway, I hate the fact that we might have to see Edge vs John Cena yet again. I’ve already seen them wrestle a million times.

Randy Orton came out to interrupt and while Edge ran his mouth, Orton simply hit the RKO and got on the ropes, that’s about it.

Let it be known yet again, that I hate the Raw Guest Hosts, I’m sick of them.

R Truth defeated Chris Jericho

Chris Jericho was like a man possessed during this match, and Truth was having a hard time fighting back. Jericho found a way to keep attacking, and controlling the match with relative ease. It’s interesting that Truth is the champion, yet Jericho was winning for the most part. Truth apparently isn’t the strongest champion, but I was predicting a superhero roll up and come back, ala John Cena. Of course, I was right, and Jericho lost out of the blue. Truth rolled out of the Walls of Jericho and won with ease.

Jericho seemed sad afterwards, and maybe he’s going to take time off. The match wasn’t that great, although it was longer than the average Raw match, or so it seemed. I liked it, although I didn’t like the predictable super hero ending, and recovering after a long beating. I wish there was a strong champion, that was just good, not easily worn down, but then miraculously fine at the end.

Santino & Eve defeated Maryse & William Regal

In a match that you would of missed if you blinked, Santino managed to win this match with a little help of Kozlov. This match was nothing more than filler, to say the least. Santino is ok, sometimes.

Bret Hart came out to cut a promo, I don’t know, I wasn’t paying too much attention, since my stream was lagging like crazy. He announced a three hour special for next week’s Raw with all talent, and forget the draft.

Ted Dibiase Jr came out with Virgil and got on the mic. He wanted to buy the general manager position next week. Ashton came on the screen and called for a viewers choice instead, and Bret agreed.

Vince McMahon showed up. That’s right, the real Mr. Mcmahon, the character, strutting to the ring, the guy they said was dead, is now back. Dibiase left, and McMahon got into the ring with Bret Hart. McMahon just said good luck to Bret Hart and that’s about it. Nothing crazy, nothing special, just random compliments and afterwards he left the ring and that’s that.

Orton got ambushed in the back by Edge, and this could be a way of writing Orton off the ppv.

Daniel Bryan defeated The Miz

In a shocker of sorts, Daniel Bryan squared off against THE MIZ! I kid you not, THE MIZ fought DANIEL BRYAN! What the heck? This was definitely peaking my interest in wrestling.

This match was back and forth for a few moments, then it was Daniel Bryan with the pin, and the win!

Post match The Miz threw Bryan out of the ring and that was that. Daniel Bryan pinned the Miz and won the match. Daniel Bryan got the best of the exchange by throwing Miz into Michael Cole at ring side.

The Rikishi kids cut a promo. I didn’t care. Whatever. They need to prove something to me, new tag teams won’t last anyways. New tag teams always get split up within 2 years time. Unless the WWE is turning things around, which is highly unlikely.

I guess since there’s no tag team division, any “tag team” that attacks the champions gets a title shot? I guess that’s what I get for trying to rationalize professional wrestling.

The Hart Dynasty came out and tried to fight, and they got beat up. I still don’t care.

Zack Ryder was in ring and Jerry Lawler came in and sat down. The Great Khali came out, and apparently was going to wrestle Ryder? What happened to Kahli taking time off and what not? I thought he was done? Oh well. Khali came in the ring and he was getting cheer in light of Ryder and Lawler and Kutcher on screen.

Goldust then came out. That’s right, Goldust. Ryder was frantic and Kutcher was going to reveal Ryder’s opponent, and it just wasn’t happening, and I was bored again. Until Alicia Fox knocked Ryder out, for what seemed like no reason…it was dumb, and I didn’t care.

So at around 7:41 pm EST the show was getting really boring, and this was just another Also, at t his point there were only 3 matches, lots of drivel, and a lot of boredom. With a roster as large as the WWE’s, you’d think there’d actually be wrestling on the show, but nope.

John Cena & Evan Bourne defeated Edge & Sheamus

Well, well, Evan Bourne was given a shot at the main event with John Cena. Since Orton re-injured his shoulder, the WWE put Bourne in there for this tag team match, and it’ll be interesting to see if he gets more opportunities like this. Bourne is a smaller guy, so he’s not exactly a gem for the WWE, but maybe they’ll figure it out and utilize his skills to their advantage. It’d b e nic,e if they brought back the Cruiserweight belt, that’s for sure

Bourne was hitting every move in his arsenal against Edge as the show went to break, which is interesting to note for sure. When Raw returned from break, Sheamus was doing a number on Cena, but Cena fought back and Evan Bourne got the tag and was taking it to Sheamus with ease, but that was short lived as Sheamus got control over the much smaller opponent.

The match was your standard tag team match, with neither team truly getting an upper hand. There was the signature “Cena” hot tag and he was on fire against Sheamus and Edge at one point. It’s funny to see Sheamus not know how to counter the obvious offense of Cena, even though a few weeks ago he had counters for nearly everything. Sheamus did turn things around and looked to have this thing in the bag, but nope, Cena hit an Attitude Adjustment and this thing was in the books as Edge threw himself out of the ring. The good guys win, as if there was any doubt and Cena is once again super Cena.

WWE Monday Night Raw 5/28/10 Results and Review

WWE Monday Night Raw 5/28/10 Results

Christian & Hornswoggle defeated Chavo Guerrero & Dolph Ziggler
Luke Gallows defeated MVP
The Big Show & Kofi Kingston defeated Drew McIntyre & Jack Swagger
CM Punk defeated Kane
The Undertaker defeated Rey Mysterio

WWE Monday Night Raw 5/28/10 Review

Teddy Long came out to the ring and started to dance. He came out to ringside and started to talk about the upcoming fatal four way ppv.

Drew McIntyre came out and pulled out yet another letter, and this sucked. The letter stated that Matt Hardy is suspended for interfering in Drew’s match.

Christian & Hornswoggle defeated Chavo Guerrero & Dolph Ziggler

The team of Dolph Ziggler and Chavo were getting completely out wrestled by Hornswoggle and Christian, well, mainly Christian. The little guy was getting thrown around like crazy. Christian hit a Killswitch and this thing was over fast. Christian worked his butt off in this match, despite the lackluster pairing.

Post match Dolph Ziggler was like a man possess, attacking Christian with a stick Sleeper Hold and putting Captain Charisma to sleep.

Luke Gallows defeated MVP

MVP put on his usual antics, but it was Luke Gallows and help from a hooded member of the Straightedge Society that won the match. Not exactly a technical classic, but what are ya gonna do?

The Big Show & Kofi Kingston defeated Drew McIntyre & Jack Swagger

This match was actually entertaining. McIntyre and Swagger worked quite well together and were pushing the limits of Kofi. Big Show finally got a hot tag and cleared the ring, prompting the crowd to go nuts. Show was dominant, and he was plowing through the two youngsters. Drew McIntyre receives a huge right hand and it was over, Big Show pinned Drew and stared down Jack Swagger.

CM Punk, despite having his head shaved, showed up with none other than…a mask. Yes, a mask. He had a full mask that covered his head and eyes. It was scary to say the least.

CM Punk defeated Kane

CM Punk managed to survive a great deal of punishment from Kane, and without much interference, well…he still had some, he managed to pin the big red machine. Kane has been relegated to jobber status if you ask me. It’s funny to see him losing, especially since in past times, he was so good. Oh well, I guess that’s what happens when you get older in wrestling, you start to lose. Hopefully Kane can bounce back and he’ll get one more championship run? Maybe not.

The Undertaker defeated Rey Mysterio

This match was actually one of the highlights of smackdown. I was surprised that the two actually put on such an entertaining match. Rey took shot after shot at Undertaker and it was frustrating the big man for sure. After some blows, the dead man nearly killed Rey with counters, but Mysterio kept moving forward with his offensive fury. It was interesting to see how fast Undertaker was adapting to the offense of Rey Mysterio. I’m not sure who the fans wanted to cheer, as it was definitely split. The Undertaker managed to lose this one, but not without a valiant effort and the dead man busted open the hard way. Mysterio was dropped on his head and this thing was over, sadly. It was a three out of 5 star or at least 4 out of 5 star match up. I enjoyed it greatly.

TNA Impact 5/27/10 Results and Review

TNA Impact 5/27/10 Results

Kaz defeated Jay Lethal
Ink Inc. defeated Team 3D and The Band in a triple threat match
Orlando Jordan vs Abyss dq style finish when desmond interfered
The Beautiful People defeated Taylor Wilde & Sarita
Desmond Wolfe defeated Jeff Hardy
Aj Styles defeated Mr. Anderson

TNA Impact 5/27/10 Review

I can not stress enough how crappy it is for me to watch wrestling right now. I have to try and find a quality stream of the events live, and my internet is less than cable...so it's just a bad thing all around.

But I managed to find a good stream of the event, and i watched it live..on my first day without cable.

So here we go, an attempt to review wrestling based on the streaming live event.

Jeff Hardy came out and tried to cut a promo, prompting Mr. Anderson to come out and try to explain his actions as of late. I was already tired of TNA and it had only been like 2 minutes time. The two started talking and it was interestint o say the least.

Aj Styles came out to interupt, and it appeared that Mr. Anderson's face turn was nearly complete. His music played ad it was just odd.

Styles will face Anderson later tonight.

Ink Inc. defeated Team 3D and The Band in a triple threat match

This match was slow, and yielded the youngsters doing most of the work. I didn't really like how it played out. It was kind of boring, and when Ink Inc won this one, I was just glad it was over.

At the next ppv, Jesse Neal will face Bubba Ray Dudley.

Kaz and Ric Flair talked to Christy Hemme, and Aj Styles was looking jealous backstage.

Kaz defeated Jay Lethal

This match had solid work, I liked it at first, and it was going forward with relative ease, however, when the chips fell and Ric Flair showed up, I wasn't into it anymore. Lethal's "bland" character isn't all that great, and is kind of boring now.

Post match Styles beat up Lethal, and then my stream cut

Thank God for the iPhone! I was able to stream TNA Impact via my iphone and we’re back in action folks.

Orlando Jordan vs Abyss dq style finish when desmond interfered

I hate when matches end without an announcement of who won, or what happened. This match was terrible, but after the match some of the best things happened.

When the match was over, after Desmond Wolfe interfered, Orlando Jordan and Desmond beat the crap out of Abyss. This was ended by Rob Terry coming down the ring and knocking out Orlando Jordan. If we get a hot-shot tag team out of this, I’m going to be upset.

Rob Van Dam came out and tried to call out Sting, but Sting just talked form the rafters and it was stupid. Sting sucks now, in fact, Sting has sucked for many many years. When was the last time Sting was actually good?

Seriously, when?

I would say 1994.

The Beautiful People defeated Taylor Wilde & Sarita

This match was terrible. The Beautiful people, despite not being able to wrestle that well, managed to defeat two women that actually know how to wrestle quite well. I guess that’s just the state of women’s wrestling today.

Post match, the midget wrestler Puppet, got beat up by the Beautiful People, lame.

Desmond Wolfe defeated Jeff Hardy

This match wasn’t that bad, but it definitely wasn’t great. Hardy works well with Wolfe, and after a ref bump, Wolfe knocked out Hardy with a roll of quarters or something, and that was that. This match was over. Nothing crazy, just Wolfe winning with a foreign object, that’s it.

Matt Morgan was in the ring talking about getting a tag team partner, and when Samoa Joe came out, Morgan left.

Aj Styles defeated Mr. Anderson

This match was not great at all. In fact, it was really boring with no major high spots that I can remember. It was a stale mate in my view, and most of the match was just back and forth minor moves. The match didn’t even have either man breaking a real sweat. The match seemed to be losing steam and Styles rolled up Anderson and cheated to win, and it was a pinfall victory.

TNA sucked yet again, but at least I got to stream it, wow…I love it.

Post match, as TNA ended, Beer Money came down and beat up Anderson. I guess he’s a face now.

Jeff Hardy ran down with a chair and cleared the ring. I guess he’s friends with Anderson now? This whole convoluted wrestling show sucks.

WWE NXT 5/25/10 Results and Review

***NOTE****

Well, it has happened folks, I have canceled my satellite television service, which means I won't be watching wrestling live. I'll have to hunt down episodes on a variety of different websites.

I appreciate you readers, all 2 of you, that have helped me keep this thing going, but I have no money, no job, and am on the verge of getting kicked out of my home.

If I'm late on my reviews, don't worry, they'll show up...it's just going to take time or they'll be limited to what I can watch at a friend's house.

WWE NXT 5/25/10 Results

R-Truth & David “A-List” Otunga defeated Christian & Heath Slater
Justin Gabriel defeated Wade Barrett

WWE NXT 5/25/10 Review

The most important thing that happened on NXT was that the one man rock band was eliminated. Remember folks, this is all scripted.

Oh right, I forgot, Daniel Bryan confronted Michael Cole, or rather Cole tried to do so. Whatever the case, it sucked...until Cole gets beat up, I don't care.

R-Truth & David “A-List” Otunga defeated Christian & Heath Slater

This match was ok at best. I don't like how Otunga isn't all that good, but I do like how Truth at least gave it a good shot. Slater and Christian are ok as a team, but they are like mayo to me...I just don't like them. Or maybe they're too white for me.

Justin Gabriel defeated Wade Barrett

I can't believe this happened. Barrett is supposed to be the "it" guy and yet he loses to the guy with one trick...oh well.

WWE Monday Night Raw 5/24/10 Results and Review

WWE Monday Night Raw 5/24/10 Results

Randy Orton defeated Batista via Forfeit
Sheamus defeated Mark Henry
Alicia Fox & Maryse defeated Gail Kim & Eve
R Truth defeated The Miz
Edge defeated John Cena and Edge in a triple threat match
The Hart Dynasty defeated Regal & Kozlov

WWE Monday Night Raw 5/24/10 Review

Batista opened the show, and was limping, had his ribs taped and his arm in a sling, with two referees helping him to the ring.

Bret Hart is the new Raw general manager, and he made a match with Batista (in a wheelchair) against Randy Orton. Batista said he’d quit if he was forced to wrestle, and he did. He went on a rant and quit.

I’m not sure where this angle is going, or if Batista is really quitting, but it’s interesting to note, that’s for sure. If Batista quits, fine, I just wish John Cena would quit.

Sheamus defeated Mark Henry

Mark Henry kept playing up his injured shoulder whenever it was convenient. Sheamus didn’t look too strong against the world’s strongest man, but eventually got the win, after Henry’s shoulder started acting up yet again.

Alicia Fox & Maryse defeated Gail Kim & Eve

Another boring divas match with little to no action. Sure there were moments, but nothing I’d like to elaborate, as it all sucked.

R Truth defeated The Miz

R Truth, after a commercial break, launched over the top rope and Miz did NOT catch him, landing on his head! That’s right folks, he landed on his HEAD! I’m surprised the match continued, he was obviously shaken, but he kept going, despite nearly killing himself on live television. The match was quite good, and surprising even. Truth is the new United States champion and the Miz was out cold. I liked this match, it was a rare gem to see a good championship match on Raw.

There was a segment where Jon Lovitz had a talent search, it was terrible; santino came out, some dude with a fake eye was out there, Ted Dibiase came out to buy the eye, it was just a convoluted mess. I’m so sick of the guest host thing on Raw.

The Hart Dynasty defeated Regal & Kozlov

This was just a waste of time. The Hart’s won an easy match up.

Post match, the team was attacked by the son’s of Rikishi and Jimmy Snuka’s daughter, yep, a new tag team.

I read the name online, but I have already forgotten them. I guess there’s a new tag team in town…but does anybody care?

Tomorrow, Michael Cole will demand an apology from Daniel Bryan…or Brian Danielson, whoever shows up.

Edge defeated John Cena and Edge in a triple threat match

This was dumb. It wasn’t a good match, it just seemed like a house show classic, except that Edge won and not Cena. I’m so sick of John Cena, I’m sick of Edge, and while Jericho can be classic, he wasn’t great here. The match wasn’t too long, and was formulaic as all triple threat matches are.

Post match, Sheamus came out and everyone stared each other down before Randy Orton came out, and that’s it. That’s your Raw for Monday night.

I am sick of WWE Raw, I’m sick of wrestling in general. I haven’t been so jaded about wrestling in quite a long time. Maybe it’s a combination of bad wrestling and the fact that I’m dead broke, have no job, and haven’t had a job interview in 8 months. I’ve never been so depressed and maybe it’s seeping through to watching wrestling.

WWE Friday Night Smackdown 5/21/10 Results and Review

WWE Friday Night Smackdown 5/21/10 Results

Michelle McCool & Layla defeated Tiffany & Kelly Kelly
JTG defeated One Of the Dudebusters
Vance Archer & Curt Hawkins defeated Two Jobbers
Kofi Kingston defeated Jack Swagger
Rey Mysterio & MVP defeated The Straightedge Society
The Big Show vs Drew McIntyre

WWE Friday Night Smackdown 5/21/10 Review

And here we go, another look at pro-wrestling, with a review of Smackdown. CM Punk opened the show and he shaved the head of three different idiots. Then he beat them up.

Mysterio came out for a moment and showed what Punk would look like with his head shaved. It was stupid.

Michelle McCool & Layla defeated Tiffany & Kelly Kelly

This match was dumb. It was fast, and it was stupid. The co-women’s champions suck. I hate this division…man, no one has good women’s wrestling right now.

JTG defeated One Of the Dudebusters

This sucked too. JTG doesn’t have the skills to get over, at least not over with me. The Dudebusters suck too. I hate this…man Smackdown sucked so far.

Vance Archer & Curt Hawkins defeated Two Jobbers

This match sucked. The two killed two jobbers…whatever…I’m sick of this boring wrestling.

Kofi Kingston defeated Jack Swagger

This was a good back and forth match, but when Big Show go on the mic, distracted Swagger and Kofi hit a nice cross body block, Swagger lost. It was a dumb finish, and I didn’t care.

Kofi beat the world champ, big deal.

Christian had his PEEP Show, and was attacked by Dolph Ziggler and Chavo Guerrero. It was a lame segment.

Rey Mysterio & MVP defeated The Straightedge Society

This match was cool, a standard high spot tag team affair. This time around CM Punk got worked over and ended up losing after Rey Mysterio hit the Hurricanrana roll up.

The Big Show vs Drew McIntyre

This match was mostly Big Show, until Jack Swagger interfered. Drew was on his way to losing this match, and we get another no finish? I hate this crap. Swagger continued to beat up the Big Show, and that was.

Smackdown was not that great, in fact, was boring. I hated it. Smackdown and Impact both sucked, in light with an ok Raw. I’m having a bad week of wrestling.

TNA Impact 5/20/10 Results and Review

TNA Impact 5/20/10 Results

Roxxi defeated Madison Rayne
Orlando Jordan defeated Rob Terry
Kaz won a X-Division Battle Royal
Rob Van Dam & Jay Lethal defeated Beer Money
Erik Young defeated Shannon Moore
Jeff Hardy defeated Sting

TNA Impact 5/20/10 Review

I dread having to review TNA Impact, and missed it live, because I was traveling to Cambridge, Idaho. I’m back now, and am going to update reviews all around…

The show opened with Eric Bischoff, and the announcement of who the top ten contenders are for the TNA Championship.

The top 10 rankings were announced from #10 to #1.

#10 Samoa Joe
#9 Rob Terry
#8 Desmond Wolfe
#7 The Pope
#6 Abyss
#5 Mr. Anderson
#4 Jeff Hardy
#3 Aj Styles
#2 Kurt Angle
#1 Sting

This doesn’t make sense. The TNA Ranking system DOES NOT MAKE SENSE AT ALL! That’s right, this is BS! The voting didn’t count, the whole stupid system is dumb, and worthless. I hate this, TNA sucks, whoever is booking TNA sucks. Seriously, FIRE ALL THE TNA WRITERS! FIRE EM! This makes absolutely NO SENSE NO SENSE AT ALL! This is the worst promotion ever, not even WCW 2000 sucked this bad.

Sting came out and attacked Eric Bischoff with a baseball bat! Abyss came in to help, but got beat up. Jeff Hardy stole the baseball bat, and the two would stare each other down….they’ll fight each other later tonight.

Sting kicked Hardy in the nuts, and was ready to hit him with a bat, when Rob Van Dam came out and things changed….whatever.

Roxxi defeated Madison Rayne

Roxxi is back and she doesn’t look nearly as good as I remembered her.

This match was fast, and wasn’t all that great, with Roxxi winning after the Voodoo Drop. This was stupid. I am starting to really hate the knockout division. The match was one sided for the most part, and wasn’t all that good, and was disappointing, to say the least.

Kurt Angle came out and cut a promo, he said that he would wrestle all the top 10, and won’t be #2. Whatever. No one cares about Kurt Angle.

Orlando Jordan defeated Rob Terry

This match sucked, apparently Terry had a messed up knee and he was getting worked. Orlando won but it didn’t like Rob tapped, and that was that. What a stupid match.

Rob Van Dam & Jay Lethal defeated Beer Money

This too was stupid. I don’t believe that Beer Money should be losing to a hot shot team. It was interesting to see, and it had some good spots, but overall this match wasn’t worthwhile. RVD and Lethal win with relative ease, and that was that.

Post match, Ric Flair came down and fought Lethal on the ramp all the way back to the backstage area.

Sting came out and attacked RVD with a chair, and hit him in the head…it was stupid. The weakest chairshot to the head I’ve ever seen.

Abyss was supposed to get Chelsea for 30 days, and upon transferring ownership, Desmond Wolfe kicked him in the nuts and then broke a bottle and cut him. Yes, he used a broken bottle to slice Abyss in the arm, then he was going to slice Chelsea too. This was so stupid, seriously, this was just stupid, I don’t understand what TNA is thinking. I hated this segment, and there’s no need for it…I’m sick of this crap. FIRE ALL THE TNA WRITERS!

Erik Young defeated Shannon Moore

I never thought a Piledriver would be so devastating. Young won this match with the classic move, and this match was stupid. Team 3D got involved with Jesse Neal, Scott Hall cost Moore the match. Bubba ray ran down and beat up Jesse Neal at one point too.

Scott Hall got arrested this weekend, so maybe that’s going to be over too.

Bubba Ray, post match, yelled at Neal, and no one could stop him. It’s stupid.

Kaz won a X-Division Battle Royal

This match was lame too. Sure there were some high spots, but KAZ sucks, and him steam rolling through the X-Division doesn’t make sense to me. The X-Division is just an afterthought at this point.

Jeff Hardy defeated Sting

This match was all Sting, that’s right, Sting had this in the bag. Anderson got involved and did a Scorpion Death Drop on Sting, and Hardy won. This match was stupid.

I heard that Sting has a messed up shoulder.

Anderson then raised Jeff Hardy’s hand, and was trying to be his friend. Hardy then pushed Anderson and this was just an odd segment. The crowd was cheering Anderson completely, and it seemed like he was being turned face. However, before anything could develop Sting brought in the baseball bat and started to fight Hardy and Anderson with the bat. Such a stupid event.

I hated this night of TNA, I think it’s the worst wrestling show on tv, and they should just go back to classic wrestling, instead of what it is right now.

WWE NXT 5/18/2010 Results and Review

WWE NXT 5/18/2010 Results

Wade Barrett defeated Darren Young
Justin Gabriel defeated Heath Slater

WWE NXT 5/18/2010 Review

Wade Barrett defeated Darren Young

This match was ok, Barrett once again won, and it was nice to see. Darren Young had a few good moments, but he made some rookie mistakes, and eventually got put away with that fireman’s carry finisher. Wade is ok, but I don’t think he’s that great.

Daniel Bryan and Michael Tarver were given the mic to talk about why they were eliminated, and it was ok. That is until Daniel went after Stryker and Michael Cole! He went nuts and even attacked Michael Cole until they had to restrain him.

YES! HE PUNKED OUT COLE!

Justin Gabriel defeated Heath Slater

This was an adequate match, and the best part was the ending. Justin Gabriel’s 450 Splash is insane, it’s one of the best things in Wrestling right now. It’s crisp, it looks natural, and it doesn’t get messed up like Juvi’s or the Shooting Star press by Kidman, it looks nice. Slater did some good moves too, but wow, that 450 is amazing.

Michael Cole quit the broadcast booth.

Darren Young was eliminated from NXT.

Michael Cole came back.

WWE Monday Night Raw 5/17/10 Results

The Undertaker defeated Edge by Countout
Edge defeated Christian
Ted Dibiase Jr defeated Yoshi Tatsu
Bret Hart defeated The Miz for the United States Championship
Layla, Michelle McCool and Maryse defeated Eve & The Bella Twins
Randy Orton vs Jack Swagger No Contest
Evan Bourne & Gail Kim defeated Zack Ryder & Alicia Fox
John Cena vs Sheamus no contest

WWE Monday Night Raw 5/17/10 Review

I completely forgot about the TNA review and ppv, because I was busy, so forget it happened. From what I hear, it wasn’t very good anyways.

The show opened up with Bret “The Hitman” Hart coming down to the ring. It’s also important to note that Raw was in Toronto Canada.

The Hitman informed everyone that he wasn’t going to be wrestling tonight, despite being called out by The Miz last Raw.

Chris Jericho came out to interrupt, and what not…I lost track of stuff looking or the new Murs record.

The night had several different commercials and sponsors, in a night tht wasn’t supposed to have any. Of course they were all for wwe and what not, and parodied real commercials.

Looks like the wwe likes to gamble, or play cards or something because they had a “pick your poison” match, where two opponents at Over the Limit would pick their opponents “opponent”. I know, it’s odd, but whatever.

Edge defeated Christian

Christian has been working both shows, and it seems like the brand split didn’t matter. Christian was running straight through Edge for the most part, but managed to hurt his shoulder outside of the ring, which is a common point for Christian matches. The crowd was red hot for this match, and both guys put on some great counters and overall wrestling, despite the short amount of time. After some close falls, it was Edge that managed to win this match up. Not a four star classic, but a great overall opener that kept my attention for a Raw match.

The Undertaker defeated Edge by Countout

Randy Orton didn’t pick Christian, he picked Undertaker and when Edge deliberately got counted out, Christian came out and threw him in the ring. The Undertaker than knocked him out, and that was the end of the night.

I hate no commercial Raw events.
Mark Henry was supposed to face Mark Henry, but instead got trampled by Batista before the match could even happen.

Ted Dibiase Jr defeated Yoshi Tatsu

Tatsu got worked over in this match, despite getting some offense in during the match up. Dibiase hit Dream Street and that was that. The match wasn’t all that great, but I liked the fact that VIRGIL came back. That’s right, THE VIRGIL is now helping Ted Dibiase Jr.

Bret Hart defeated The Miz for the United States Championship

The Hart Dynasty helped Bret hart overcome the odds and once again get the United States Championship! That’s right, he won the match with a lot of help from the Hart Dynasty…The Miz basically got jobbed the crap out. Wow. I have no idea what they are going to do with the United States Title now.

Layla, Michelle McCool and Maryse defeated Eve & The Bella Twins

This match was relatively boring, too much time was spent on dropkicks…seriously. Maryse tagged herself in and got the pinfall victory after the French Kiss. I guess it was ok…I don’t know, I don’t care about the divas in wwe.

Randy Orton vs Jack Swagger No Contest

This match was quite a high caliber match, and was comparable to their ppv outing they had. While Orton seemed to be a little less abrasive, and Swagger was looking quite dominant for a good part of this match, the Viper was striking on all cylinders. The crowd was going nuts, and Swagger, despite nearly losing this match up looked Strong.

Swagger got with an RKO but Edge was there to disrupt the match and hit a Spear.

Evan Bourne & Gail Kim defeated Zack Ryder & Alicia Fox

This match had Ryder taking some serious shots against Bourne, and Gail Kim hitting some nice high spots against Fox. This match had some interesting counters, and Ryder getting involved was interesting to see when the divas were wrestling. Overall though, I didn't really like this match. Gail Kim won the match with a pinfall, and this match was done. A standard mixed tag team match, didn't mean a whole lot.

John Cena vs Sheamus no contest

I'm so sick of John Cena. I'm so tired of seeing him wrestling, it's getting ridiculous. Sheamus further solidified himself as a pale heel, and was really bringing it to Cena during this match up. Cena was doing the classic, super cena, stuff, and no one seemed to care...well, the crowd was loud, I just wasn't into it at all. The "Let's Go Sheamus" chant was huge at one point, with Cena getting booed for his comebacks.

Cena threw Sheamus out of the ring with an Attitude Adjustment, but Batista was there to catch cena and drop him with a spine buster. Batista would go on to beat up Cena yet again, and will most likely lose at the ppv.

This match had rails, it was going somewhere, I actually was watching, then when Batista beat him up, and the match was thrown out. Batista putting on The Rings of Saturn was a nice touch, as Raw went off the air.

I like the build, but I don't know if the match will actually be any good.

Raw was ok, nothing too grand.

WWE Friday Night Smackdown 5/14/10 Results

Kofi Kingston defeated Christian in the Intercontinental Championship Match
Shad defeated Jobber #9292
JTG & MVP defeated The Dudebusters
Layla defeated Beth Phoenix to win the Women’s Title
Kane defeated Chavo Guerrero
Rey Mysterio vs Cm Punk

WWE Friday Night Smackdown 5/14/10 Review

The night opened with the Intercontinental Championship title tournament finals. It would be two of the top guys in the mid-card, and I liked that they opened the show like this.

Kofi Kingston defeated Christian in the Intercontinental Championship Match

Christian hasn’t been on the roll that he once was at in ECW, but he can take a lot of punishment, and it showed. He was busted open the hard way at one point, and took some big bumps on the outside. Kofi too took a mean bump on the floor outside, when Christian moved out of the way of a splash. The two were going back and forth, and fast too, getting the crowd going several times, and getting me excited about the Intercontinental Champion yet again. Kofi hit thunder in paradise, and this thing was all over.

Kofi Kingston won, but out came Drew McIntyre, and the title was overruled and Kofi was stripped of the title. Drew McIntyre was reinstated, and is still recognized as the Intercontinental Champion. A letter was read, and that was it. It’s stupid.

Shad defeated Jobber #9292

Shad beat a jobber. I don’t like the character, and I don’t like JTG solo, so this was stupid to me.

JTG & MVP defeated The Dudebusters

Well, there’s another hot shot tag team, thrown together. I hate these idiotic tag teams that are just so boring. Well, the Dudebusters got killed, they were buried by the new team. I’m so sick of the tag division in the WWE. I long for the days when good tag-team wrestling existed and there were several teams gunning for the tag titles.

Remember the Killer Bees, British Bulldogs, The Orient Express, The Rockers, The Barbarians, Harlem Heat, Public Enemy, The Eliminators and so many others? Oh man, I wish it were back in the day.

Layla defeated Beth Phoenix

Layla and Michelle McCool battled Beth Phoenix for the title, but when Beth Phoenix fell to the floor, Layla pinned the champion. This match was ok, not great, but it was smart the way it played out, with Phoenix having a knee injury.

Kane defeated Chavo Guerrero

Chavo got killed, I don’t know why he is still working for WWE, he’s just a jobber.

Rey Mysterio vs Cm Punk

This match was not half bad, it featured all the spots that both men have put on in their last two matches. The only difference here was that the new member of the Society came in and helped Punk beat up Mysterio.

Overall this night of smackdown wasn’t all that great. I was actually tired, and didn’t really enjoy the majority of the matches. It had a few good moments, but it was dumb.

TNA Impact 5/13/10 Results

Tara defeated Taylor Wilde
Brian Kendrick defeated Douglas Williams
Matt Morgan vs Generation Me
Scott Hall & Kevin Nash defeated Matt Morgan to capture the TNA Tag Team Championship Titles
Ink Inc defeated Team 3D, Beer Money, and The Motor City Machine Guns
Orlando Jordan defeated Tyson Tomko
Tara defeated Sarita
Aj Styles defeated Jeff Hardy, and Rob Van Dam

TNA Impact 5/13/10 Review

The show opened up with Eric Bischoff in ring, talking about the poll and what the fans want. However, they forget to mention that Desmond Wolfe has 80% of the votes. Oh well.

Bischoff claimed that Jeff Hardy was nowhere to be found, and that RVD had the night off. The prompted Aj Styles to come in and interrupt.

Jeff Hardy eventually came out and talked trash, setting up a triple threat match for the end.

Tara defeated Taylor Wilde

Tara beat up Taylor Wilde in this match, and won very short, not really competitive match up. It was stupid to me, I didn’t like it at all. The knockouts division has really gone downhill.

Backstage it looked bad for Chelsea, as a ton of security was hovering over her, crying. Meanwhile Desmond Wolfe was trying to throw the camera crew out.

Brian Kendrick defeated Douglas Williams

This match sucked, it was short. Kazarian wanted to get his belt back, but nope, it just served to distract Williams, and as a result, was rolled up in a short, and boring match.

Matt Morgan vs Generation Me

This match was basically Matt Morgan steam rolling through Generation Me. I’m not sure who won, but it wasn’t Generation Me.

Samoa Joe came down and beat up Morgan, including a sick Muscle Buster.

Post match, out came Kevin Nash and The Band, and they cashed in their Fest or Fired Briefcase, winning the World Tag team titles off of Matt Morgan.

That’s the end of the title run.

Ink Inc defeated Team 3D, Beer Money, and The Motor City Machine Guns

This four way match was fast, and full of spots, with no real psychology to speak of. This match wasn’t all that great, but it did feature some good action. Shannon Moore got beat and was bleeding in his ear, probably from wearing ear rings while wrestling. Ink Inc won, but will not get the titles this weekend, I’m sure.

Big Rob was ready to defend his title against Abyss, but backstage, Abyss was being arrested. He then was about to get jumped by Desmond Wolfe, but police stopped him. Apparently Abyss assaulted Chelsea?

Hogan was backstage trying to help out, but it didn’t help.

Orlando Jordan ran into the ring and hit Big Rob with a low blow, and left his hand there…in a very awkward and “gay” nature. Orlando then hit Rob with a lead pipe, and left a “Wild Card”.

Orlando Jordan defeated Tyson Tomko

This match was awkward to say the least. Tomko is fat. Orlando won with a guillotine choke hold. Jordan hit a back stabber, which was weird, and well…Jordan is most likely going to win on Sunday.

Tara defeated Sarita

This match sucked, and was a disgrace man. I’m so sick of the Knockouts. They used to be so good, and now? They aren’t as good. Tara won by hitting Sarita with her knee brace, and that was that.

Aj Styles defeated Jeff Hardy, and Rob Van Dam

This match was interesting to say the least. Not so much because the match was that good, but because we got to see the top 3 guys in TNA. All in all, it had its moments, nothing too extreme. Rob Van Dam got hit with a ddt on the outside, and Anderson came in and interfered. Aj Styles utilized the ropes for leverage to win this match up.

Post match, Hardy called out Anderson, but Anderson didn’t oblige.

However, out came Hulk Hogan came out, and forced Anderson to get back into the ring. Hardy fought off Anderson on the floor, and the two brawled. Hardy jumped off the broadcast table through Anderson, through a table, for no apparent reason.

This week of Impact sucked. It made no sense at times, and the actual wrestling was not that great. I didn’t like it. I’m tired, dead tired of TNA Wrestling.

WWE NXT 5/11/2010 Results and Review

WWE NXT 5/11/2010 Results

Wade Barrett defeated Heath Slater
Skip Sheffield defeated Darren Young
David Otunga defeated Justin Gabriel

WWE NXT 5/11/2010 Review

The show opened up with the elimination of Michael Tarver. He then threw afit and left the arena. Well that’s the end of that. This was a dumb opening, and while I thought Tarver had promise, this is the end.

Daniel Bryan was also eliminated from NXT.

Wade Barrett defeated Heath Slater

I am going to agree with a lot of people, Wade Barrett has some size and some style to win this thing, and while Slater has some major athleticism, he lost this one, and could still walk away with the whole enchilada…..mmmmm…enchiladas.

Skip Sheffield defeated Darren Young

This match wasn’t all that great, but I could see where Skip Sheffield would win the whole show, and Young can only be saved…if he joins the Straightedge Society.

David Otunga defeated Justin Gabriel

This match wasn’t all that great. Otunga and Gabriel battled for a little bit, but it was Otunga that got the win here. I didn’t really think it was all that great.

Lastly, another person was eliminated.

But first the Pro’s Poll

1. Wade Barrett
2. David Otunga
3. Justin Gabriel
4. Heath Slater
5. Darren Young

Skip Sheffield was #6, and was eliminated.

Another boring NXT show, and boy I was glad this was over.

WWE Monday Night Raw 5/10/2010 Results

Chris Jericho defeated DH Smith
R Truth vs William Regal
Evan Bourne defeated Zack Ryder
Tyson Kidd defeated The Miz
The Whole NXT Roster defeated Yoshi Tatsu, Goldust, Santino, and John Morrison
Randy Orton defeated Ted Dibiase Jr and Edge in a handicap match

WWE Monday Night Raw 5/10/2010 Review

This night on Raw the opening was Randy Orton about to open up about why he doesn’t like Edge, but instead, was interrupted by Meat Loaf. Meat Loaf came down and was annoying Orton, and in classic 90’s wrestling style, Meat Loaf got RKO’D in the center of the ring, and the crowd went nuts. They are building Orton just like they built Stone Cold, and it is working out just fine with me.

Edge came out and I was cheering, I like that song man, I don’t know what it is, but I like it. Edge got on the mic and started mouthing out.

Edge announced the new permanent guest host of Raw…Vickie Guerrero.

Chris Jericho defeated DH Smith

This match wasn’t all that great, but it had Jericho winning after a thumb in the eye and a code breaker. Fast paced, boring kind of match. I was kind of bored, but hey, Jericho does an ok job.

R Truth came out with Flava Flav on the mic, during his rap song. It was interesting to see, as Flav had a huge clock and was dancing all around.

R Truth vs William Regal

This match was interrupted by the Colons, who were paid off by Ted Dibiase Jr, and was boring, but I’m sure it will lead somewhere.

Evan Bourne defeated Zack Ryder

Evan Bourne is still employed? What happened? Ryder took it to Bourne for the most part, and was looking solid in this match. Evan Bourne got the win, despite some interferance by Alicia Fox. This match was relatively boring, and Bourne got Gail Kim to grab his arm on the way back.

John Cena got jumped by Sheamus and Batista. Mark Henry saved John Cena from getting a worse beating than he already received from Batista and Sheamus, and it was relatively boring.

Tyson Kidd defeated The Miz

In a fast match, that barely had Miz breaking a sweat, Tyson Kidd beat The Miz, earning a title shot next week against a member of the Hart Dynasty.

The Miz then got on the mic, and he said that he’d wrestle none other than, Bret “The Hitman” Hart.

The Whole NXT Roster defeated Yoshi Tatsu, Goldust, Santino, and John Morrison

The Nxt guys were in this handicap match against four stars of Raw, and it wasn’t half bad. Daniel Bryan rolled up Santino and this match was done, I liked it…for what it was.

William Regal tried to rap…it was terrible.

Randy Orton defeated Ted Dibiase Jr and Edge in a handicap match

This match was not going to play out well for Orton, at least not in the beginning, but it eventually got really good. Edge and Dibiase worked well as a team, but after R Truth ran down for an interference, Orton was able to capitalize and win this match up with the good ol’ RKO!

It was a good raw, not a great raw, it managed to hold my attention, but for some reason, I want a burger...not really related to Raw. Nxt review is forthcoming.

WWE Friday Night Smackdown 5/7/10 Results

MVP defeated Luke Gallows
Kelly Kelly & Tiffany defeated Team Laycool
Kofi Kingston defeated Dolph Ziggler
Christian defeated Cody Rhodes
Kane defeated Jack Swagger via dq

WWE Friday Night Smackdown 5/7/10 Review

The show opened up with Matt Hardy in the ring. It was crazy, only because Drew McIntyre came down and the two brawled. Drew once again got the better of fat ass Matt Hardy and knocked him the F OUT. It was classic. It took a long time to break them up, and when Drew wouldn’t get off of Hardy he was suspended, then he got stripped of the Intercontinental Title.

When he wouldn’t stop further, he was FIRED! Teddy Long FIRED DREW MCINTYRE.

MVP defeated Luke Gallows

This match wasn’t that great, but MVP got an assist from Rey Mysterio on the outside, and the distraction served to let MVP get the win. It sparked some life in the match up, that’s for sure.

Kelly Kelly & Tiffany defeated Team Laycool

I was eating a slice of pizza during this match up, and ended up missing a bit of the match, not that anyone cares. I don’t care about the divas, you don’t care about them either, admit it.

Teddy Long announced that four competitors will compete in a single elimination tournament to crown a new Intercontinental Champion.

Kofi Kingston defeated Dolph Ziggler

A relatively good match with both competitors nearly getting the win; I wanted Ziggler to take it, and it looked all good until Thunder in Paradise hit and it was over for Dolph Ziggler.

Christian defeated Cody Rhodes

Another quality outing from Cody Rhodes, and wow, he really put it out there. Christian took a lot of abuse in this match, and I thought for sure he was going to lose this one, but it was Christian that capitalized on a shoulder to the ring post to win this match up with the Killswitch. I liked it.

Kane defeated Jack Swagger via dq

This match sucked. Big Show was at ring side. The match was slow moving, and only proves that Kane sucks, and needs to retire. The match was thrown out when Kane got thrown into the corner without a turnbuckle.

Post match, Big Show chokeslammed Swagger through a table.

This show was ok at best.

WWE NXT 5/4/2010 Results

Michael Tarver defeated Daniel Bryan
R Truth defeated David Otunga

WWE NXT 5/4/2010 Review

This night was relatively boring, and I was already bored. Daniel Bryan had his ribs taped to sell the injuries he had from wrestling Batista.

The rookies had to go through an obstacle course. Daniel Bryan started and he was really slow and it was bad. He took forever, prompting The Miz to come out and yell at Bryan. Then he had to go to the ring and wrestle.

Michael Tarver defeated Daniel Bryan

This match was tough, as it was slow paced and tarver managed to win after some time. Daniel Bryan was injured, and therefore didn’t put up much of a fight.

Post match, Bryan got hit with the Backstabber, and that was that. Bryan is getting completely buried. If it’s setting up a match with The Miz, it’ll be interesting, if not, then he’ll get eliminated.

This elimination course sucks, I’m just going to say it now….worst show ever.

R Truth defeated David Otunga

Otunga brought his A game to Truth but man, he didn’t have nearly enough to beat Truth. This fast match had Otunga losing in style, but man, it was short.

Darren Young and Wade Barrett got into a fight of sorts and that ended the show…man what a piece of crap show.

NXT IS THE WORST WWE SHOW EVER MADE!

WWE Monday Night Raw 5/3/2010 Results and Review

WWE Monday Night Raw 5/3/2010 Results

John Cena defeated Wade Barrett
Batista defeated Daniel Bryan
Morrison defeated Ted Dibiase Jr.
Mark Henry defeated Zack Ryder
The Hart Dynasty defeated William Regal & Kozlov

WWE Monday Night Raw 5/3/2010 Review

Batista opened the show and he was spot on accurate, he showed that he didn’t lose the Last Man Standing match, but was cheated out by Cena, with a roll of duct tape. I thought it was stupid, you thought it was stupid, and Batista was letting everyone have it.

Sheamus came out and got me laughing out loud when he said HAICH…Triple HAICH! He also said that he took out the “Son in Law” and that’s why he’s not getting a title shot.

Batista defeated Daniel Bryan

This match was supposed to be between Batista and Miz, but Miz backed out and changed the match to Daniel Bryan vs Batista. Bryan got on the Mic and said that he would make Batista tap.

The match went on and yes, Batista was about to tap out! I was marking out huge for it, but nope, he got pummeled into submission then got hit with the Batista Bomb in under 5 minutes. It was insane….Daniel Bryan is getting squashed like no other right now.

John Morrison defeated Ted Dibiase Jr.

Ted fought Morrison and quit, walking away and getting counted out, but he ended up coming back when Morrison wanted the match restarted and if Morssion lost he’d have to be Dibiase’s Virgil!

The match continued and it wasn’t half way bad, I liked it. The end was something semi-creative with Ted getting the Million Dollar Dream and Morrison reversing it ala Survivor’s Series 1996.

Dibiase is still looking for an assistant.

Chris Jericho was suppose to fight Cena, but instead, he ended up exchanging his match for a match with Wade Barrett.

John Cena defeated Wade Barrett

Barrett was in full control in this match, and was definitely impressive. Barrett had Chris Jericho in his corner, and this was actually quite good. A cocky Barrett had this thing in the bag until Cena hit the STF and that was the end, he beat the time, and now he gets to pick the stipulation against Batista at over the limit.

Cena got on the mic and was going to announce the stipulation, but out came Sheamus!

Sheamus beat up Cena before he could say another word, and man, Sheamus is getting the push of his life right now. Crap, Crap, I’m actually digging Sheamus.

Maryse defeated Nikki Bella

This match was fast, and boring. I hate the divas division right now.

Mark Henry defeated Zack Ryder

I didn’t even know Zack was still with the WWE, but apparently he was. He managed to put up a good fight against Henry, but it was Mark that got the last laugh and won. This match was relatively fast, and didn’t do much for me. I thought Ryder should’ve won to build him to a Ziggler style heel, but apparently he’s just another squash guy.

The Hart Dynasty defeated William Regal & Kozlov

This match was all Regal and Kozlov, and despite their dominating move sets, The Hart Dynasty managed to win this match, and continue winning.

Post match, The Miz jumped into the ring and tried to fight the Harts, but in came Jericho to also help, and the two beat up DH Smith, and formed an unlikely pairing.

The Cutting Edge happened at this point and Edge brought out Wayne Brady. It looked interesting enough, they were having words, nothing crazy, and out came Randy Orton. Wayne Brady went to shake Orton’s hand and got a SICK RKO! That was awesome!

Edge went on the mic and begged Randy Orton to reform Rated RKO, and it was actually somewhat interesting to note.

Edge kicked Orton, and Randy Orton took his time to get up, and didn't turn around, he just waited, and waited, and upon turning around and timed perfectly an RKO as EDGE was in mid-air for a spear!

You had to see the timing, it was quite good. Wow, Orton is getting way over and he hasn't cut a promo, i like this, i like this a lot.

Rob Van Dam defeated Desmond Wolfe

TNA Impact 5/4/2010 Review

The show opened up with Jay Lethal pretending to be Ric Flair. He was doing really well and he was getting the crowd going really well. Ric Flair came out, and Jay Lethal dropped character and apologized and completely changed his demeanor. It was great, it was great, Lethal was wearing the ring. It was a great segment, I loved it, I absolutely loved it. The crowd was booing the crap about Jay Lethal’s impersonation.

He then cut a promo about how he wanted to be Flair and it was a tribute, not an insult.

Ric Flair and Jay Lethal started to brawl and Lethal put Flair in a figure four and out came the calvary. They all beat up Lethal and thrust him into the main event scene.

I did noticed that it seemed a little racist considering four white guys were beating up one Black Machismo, one of them whipping him with a belt! Now, I normally don’t give a crap, but after listening to last weeks smart wrestling fan, Joe “The Idiot” Negron has me thinking about race relations in TNA!

I don’t think it is racist, but I’m sure I’ll hear about it on the podcast circuit.

Hogan and Bischoff were on a limo and turned it around and showed up to ringside as a brawl was happening with half of the roster beating each other up. Hogan beat up the bad guys, and then set up some matches for later tonight.

The most important thing to note from this opening of Impact is the fact that the show would include Desmond Wolfe and RVD for the title tonight, which is what the tna fans wanted according to votes on their website.

Ink Inc defeated Kendrick and Doug Williams

This match wasn’t half bad, it featured a new tag team that looks similar and could end up being a great force to contend with in the TNA roster. The match was fast, and relatively short.

Post match Kendrick and Williams got into an argument, but Samoa Joe stopped both of them on their way to the back and knocked them both out, and then dragged Kendrick into the ring and hit a muscle buster.

Joe shaved his “heel” beard, maybe he’s not a bad guy anymore.

Backstage Anderson was dressed as an Altar Boy and was beating up The Pope, and eventually smashed him with some equipment before walking away. I thought it was clever and a naturally progression of their feud.

Jeff Hardy came down and beat up Anderson, then stripped him, and got him to agree to a match.

While I like the feuds, I like Anderson, and can appreciate a match, I feel like the show is setting up too much too fast, without any wresting to go along with it. In fact, we’re an hour into the show, and only one match has occurred.

The Beautiful People defeated Taylor Wilde, Tara, Sarita

This match was short, it sucked, and featured minimal wrestling. The Knockouts used to put ona great show, but now? It just sucks.

Team 3D vs The Motor City Machine Gun vs Beer Money

This match was lame. It was thrown out after some good back and forth action, by The Band.

Apparently, Erik Young is now part of the Band? Not even a close swerve, lame. This match sucked, the swerve sucked, and the whole thing was stupid.

The O Zone featuring Orlando Jordan started and it was sick. Rob Terry was not on the show, it was a cardboard cut out.

Rob Terry came out and beat up Orlando for a moment, but then got jumped by Orlando and it was crazy, and reminded me of the old Goldust violence. Jordan than grabbed this huge pot or fountain looking thing and dropped it on Terry! I like this slow build to a feud, and it’s a breath of fresh air. They aren’t giving you the match just yet, they keep building and building, and it will explode, soon enough.

Aj Styles defeated Abyss in a monsters ball match

This type of match usually is at a ppv, not on free tv, which is fine, if given time. This match had some great timing, with Abyss getting the best of Styles a lot of the time, with weapons and more. Even though Abyss hit some heavy artillery, Styles had a hard time fighting the big man. Abyss got distracted by Chelsea and cost him the match. The finish was rushed, but it had a few good moments, so it wasn’t a complete throwaway.

Rob Van Dam defeated Desmond Wolfe

A fast match, but it had all the good spots that you would expect. Desmond nearly had the champ, but after a huge Five Star Frog Splash across more than half of the ring! I liked it, it was short, sweet, and worked out well.

The night ended with Hogan and Sting arguing and ended up with Double J trying to beat up Sting, before the night ended.

Overall not a terrible Impact, and they are now moving to Thursdays, and I actually liked the show. I think there’s a TON more people on the roster, but 2 hours? I guess they need something like 3 hours to fit it all.
