WWE Friday Night Smackdown 5/29/09 Review
The show starts right away with Rey Mysterio coming down, so this was interesting. Especially when Chris Jericho came out to the ring, and then there was Mickey Rourke at ring side! Jericho is amazing on the mic, hands down the best mic work in WWE right now. No one can even come close, too bad he doesn’t win matches. The segment turned into a small brawl with Jericho running away like a true coward, and Mysterio looking strong heading into Extreme rules. Not bad, but not necessarily the best either. I like how they are pushing it, but something tells me that Mysterio’s mask is going to be on the line down the road and he’s going to lose it.
Khali and R Truth defeated Dolph Ziggler and Mike Knox
This match was ok at best. It just seemed like a throwaway match to get some Khali love from the fans. Ziggler was basically a coward and ran off, leaving Khali to dismantle the “monster” Mike Knox. Knox doesn’t look that good when he’s getting trampled by Khali, who also gets the win for his team.
Melina defeated Alicia Fox
This match was lame. It had a few ok moves at best, but Fox just looked green and Melina was just going through the motions. This match was terrible, and I guess it was for the title? I don’t know, it was stupid; if you liked it, you’re dumb.
Jeff Hardy cut one of the worst promos in WWE history. This was terrible, and well…made me want to go to sleep.
John Morrison defeated Umaga via disqualification
I wasn’t sure how far the WWE would go with this match up. John Morrison seemed to be in full control of this match, but if he defeated Umaga, how would it look as he goes into fight CM Punk? So I wasn’t sure if Morrison had what it took to put away Umaga. He was pleading a good case, putting all he had into Umaga’s face…until the fade away Samoan Drop turned things around. This match did have a good back and forth motion and for once we got treated to a good match on free television. Then Umaga loses cause he uses he leather strap…what a load of crap. I guess Umaga isn’t as big of a monster as before cause now he’s resorting to cowardly DQ methods out of frustration. He couldn’t put away Morrison, so great…Morrison remains face and Umaga doesn’t get pinned. Whatever…wasting my time never looked so good, I must admit that.
Shelton Benjamin & Charlie Haas defeated Cryme Tyme
Way to go wwe! Let’s trash the legit tag teams! Haas and Benjamin, arguably two of the latest string of jobbers in the wwe got a win over Cryme Tyme. I read online that Cryme Tyme isn’t going to last much longer since one of them isn’t improving very well. Good riddance if you ask me. The match was ok at best, but this was just a throwaway match with no major implications other than to ruin Cryme Tyme’s rep.
Eve defeated Layla
A second divas match? At this point I was so fed up that I didn’t even care any longer. This match was terrible, these two can’t wrestle, they don’t have any charisma, and it made me wish for Victoria to come back, but she has joined the dark side!
Edge & Chris Jericho defeated Jeff hardy
Mysterio got gut checked by Jericho prior to the match, therefore this was a handicap match. This once again fuels the rumors that Mysterio is not at 100% right now and he is injured. This makes a lot of sense, since word on the street is that he’s dropping the belt and maybe the mask to Jericho in the near future. Remember when Jericho forced Juventud to lose his mask? That 1998 Cruiserweight title run was stellar, and back then Jericho defeated Mysterio yet again, I’ll see if I can get the video…anyways this match had a lot of high spots. Hardy was letting it all hang out for free, he was jumping and flying but it wasn’t enough to defeat the two heels in this match up and was eventually a victim of the numbers game. I liked how this ended, however, I just felt that the show wasn’t all that good.
Smackdown used to be a spot where you could watch a ton of wrestling, but really, you’re not getting a whole lot of quality in this show. It used to be more so, now I don’t know what they are doing, trying to make it Raw lite?
I would have much rather seen more continuation of stories, with pure wrestling and respect. I guess Smackdown is trying to play it safe since Extreme Rules needs their wrestlers to be somewhat in good condition.
So here is the second part of a WCW Souled Out 98 match between Rey Mysterio Jr and Chris Jericho for the Cruiserweight Title:

TNA Impact 5/28/09 Review
Suicide defeated Amazing Red
Suicide apparently gives title shots to anyone that asks, not necessarily the next in line. Amazing Red gets a shot at the title after making a comeback, but you just have to go with this lame out of the blue booking, it is TNA after all. Did you know Kaz is Suicide? I just wanted to throw that out there. I heard that Christopher Daniels was under the mask for a little while, but it’s Kaz. As for this match, Suicide was totally controlling Amazing Red, and while Red did put down some nice comeback attempts, Suicide just out classed his opponent on every turn. I hate Don West, just another FYI.
The Main Event Mafia was in ring and Sting talked about women being banned from ringside. Lame. Then he talked about random crap until Samoa Joe said he was going to kill Kurt Angle. Terrible Segment, that led to Mick Foley backstage to make assumption that Jeff Jarrett is going to be fired sooner than later? Once again, stupid.
Doug Williams defeated Cody Deaner in a Ladder Match
This match was a terrible match up. Deaner had this case basically, and took a nasty fall on the outside towards the end. Seriously, this fall was a classic, but other than that, this match sucked. It was a ladder match for Homicide’s case…which is stolen at this point. Doug Wiliams and Cody Deaner nearly destroyed my love for ladder matches. However, Deaner’s massive fall and nearly breaking his neck made me not hate thi match too much.
Stevie Richards did a random in ring Therapy Session with Abyss that bored me to death. Until Raven showed up! That’s right, RAVEN, SCOTT LEVY, MY FAVORITE ECW/WCW/WWE superstar is back in action with his cut off jean shorts and nevermind…RAVEN is back! He beat the crap out of Abyss with a kendo stick. BIG STEVIE COOL AND RAVEN BACK TOGETHER AGAIN!
Remember when they had that double Dog Collar Match? Against the Pit Bulls, that match was insane, and the two went through like 90 tables, I had to mark out like a school girl, I had to, it was rad to see Raven, back. He was lighter and looked in good enough shape.
Angelina Love defeated Sojourner Bolt
The whole crew of The Beautiful people were out at ringside in this match. I know it’s bad to think this, but I couldn’t help but wonder if cute kip is banging all of them! I mean, some pornstar looking chicks and him? It could happen. But I hear that one of them is going out with Gregory Helms…I digress. This match started out fast paced and somewhat interesting, but the screeching cats outside of the ring really made for a terrible sound experience. This match was so short that by the time I clicked a random link on a site, the match was done. Not that I was doing other things while this match was on….This match was easy for Angelina Love as she only had to wrestle for a few moments. Bolt threw some shots in, but overall this match kind of sucked. Admit it.
Cute Kip got thrown out of The Beautiful People and guess who came down to take care of them? VICTORIA! I knew it was going to happen, but I still marked out huge. Victoria is still hot…I like her. The WIDOW’s PEAK got a nice pop…and wow…Victoria is hot without all that spandex…I like her…***DROOLS****
Jeff Jarrett defeated Eric Young
Did anyone really think that Eric Young was going to win this match? I didn’t. Eric Young did put up a good match with Jeff Jarrett, who was supposedly battling an injury. This match sucked, it was terrible, seriously. Eric Young lossed in less than ten minutes, this wasn’t a war, this was a piece of junk. Jarrett rolled over Eric Young for no apparent reason.
Post match Eric Young attacked Jeff Jarrett, turning him Heel? Whatever. Eric Young sucks.
At this point in TNA Team 3D was giving a giant check to Beer Money…oh and a trophy too. This was a stupid segment.
Aj Styles defeated Christopher Daniels
Well if anyone could put on a good match it’s these two wrestlers. I was always impressed with their battles for the X-Division belt, but I wasn’t impressed by this match. Sure there were moments that were good, as these two are amazing when working together, but they had time constraints and it just wasn’t as impressive to me. It just seemed like they were going through the motions, and I was predicting that Styles would win, since Daniels isn’t in the hunt for the world title at all. Daniels went for The Angel’s Wings but Styles rolled through or a quick win with a……ROLL UP! FU TNA two roll up wins in a row? Thanks TNA thanks…for nothing!
OH but, guess who’s back too?
SHANE DOUGLAS! That’s right, SHANE DOUGLAS shows up and decks Christopher Daniels! That’s kind of cool, I guess. Douglas looks fat.

ECW on Scific 5/26/09 Results
Kozlov defeated two Jobbers
Evan Bourne defeated Mark Henry
Jack Swagger & The Hart Dynasty defeated Christian & Tommy Dreamer
ECW on Scifi 5/26/09 Review
Jack Swagger was called out by Christian, who was in ring babbling about how his peeps know what’s up. Funny thing for me was that I saw Christians last match a few years back at Smackdown live! I was fourth row from the ring, paid like $300 bucks on ebay for the gold. So Jack Swagger comes down and rambles about how he wants to pick the match type. Tiffany comes down and I just think abut her nude…I’m weird. Tiffany decides to bring down Tommy Dreamer to the ring…awesome. Tiffany says that Dreamer will get a shot at the ECW title one last time before his contract expires in an extreme triple threat match. We’ll see how it goes at Extreme rules…which I won’t see cause I’m broke!
Kozlov defeated two Jobbers
Vladimir Kozlov defeated a random jobber. It looked like Kaos to me, from PWG, XPW and indie wrestling fame. It most certainly was Kaos! The other dude (the white dude) I had no idea who that was. Kozlov killed and that was that. It sucks to see Kaos get beat up with no offense, I’ve seen him wrestle in the indie’s and he’s actually god at times.
Evan Bourne defeated Mark Henry
This match was one sided throughout. It was easy to see who would win and I knew where the match was going at the get go. Evan Bourne got beat up for most of the match, then pulled a feather from his cap and won out of the blue miraculously. I’m not a big fan of the david vs goliath thing that we are seeing with Bourne, but I guess he’s just Rey Mysterio 2.0 at this point. Since Mysterio is injury prone maybe Bourne will jump in to fill that high flying role, since he’s younger and now slaying “giants”. Lame match.
Jack Swagger & The Hart Dynasty defeated Christian & Tommy Dreamer
This was such a boring match. DH Smith is so slow, he sucks and Tyson Kid had this match in slow motion for a lot of it. Man, even the announce team was silent for a lot of stretches in this match up. What a terrible match up, and really lack luster commentating team, randomly quiet and really just stupid. It’s like they did this show in post, and not live at all. By the time Christian got in with a hot tag, things started to pick up and I got interested again. The finish was Swagger winning with the gut wrench power bomb after sending Christian into the ring post…what a terrible match.
ECW was a terrible show, the WWE has everything on cruise control, because it’s not exciting and even the announcers are bored.

WWE Monday Night Raw 5/25/09 Review
E. Stan Korenke came out to open the show, the owner of the Denver Nuggets. I don’t think it was him, because that would be stupid and of course The Nuggets put a smackdown on the Los Angeles Lakers! Vince came down and gave a beatdown to the owner of the Nuggets. Lame.
Then out came The Miz to suck up air time between transitions. The Big Show came out, after Miz had a Cleveland jersey on, and Cena showed up and then Batista came down, my description sucks because this segment sucked.
Kelly Kelly defeated Maryse via disqualification
Maryse finally defended her title on Raw instead of just sucking it up on the mic. Both of these blonde haired women can’t wrestle, and really just grind my gears…or should I say gear? Whatever this match was lame…same divas match. A basic wrestling premise with a few moments of hard hittingaction, but nothing too insane; in fact it ended via disqualification.
The Hornswoggle Goldust sketch was funny, at least a little bit. It was nice to see Goldust getting back to his comedic roots and keep a job with the wwe..hopefully this last longer than the Booker T comedy angles.
Kofi Kingston defeated William Regal, and Matt Hardy
A triple threat match was a nice second match, and it was actually interesting. Hardy favoring the fake broken arm, Kofi Kingston’s high flying spots, and Regal’s mat skills really was a nice combination of move sets. Even with so many different styles possible, it seemed like too much going on in ring for these wrestlers. There were moments where Matt Hardy seemed like he wasn’t sure what he was going to do next, meanwhile Kofi struggled to clear enough room to hit his spots. Regal meanwhile, was breaking up counts, which was good, and the match got really good with the near falls. MVP was doing color commentary…fyi. Hardy hit the Side Effect and looked poised to win this one, but by the time it seemed that Hardy was going to win, I just wasn’t that interested any longer. Kingston hit a nice spinning kick on Hardy to win the #1 contender position and will face MVP next week on Raw. Trouble in Paradise, Kofi’s move, looked really nice!
Ric Flair came out of retirement to call out Randy Orton. I hate retirements, and I proved when it happened that Flair retired many times during his career and no one cared. I sure didn’t. Well he’s back and this was lame to me. Flair hit Orton with a right hand and it was over yet again. Batista came down to save Flair, and after the dust settled Mr. Kennedy came down to the ramp for what appeared to be no apparent reason. Great! Mr. Kennedy is back so that he can get injure once more and hen get fired because of his injuries that keep popping up, despite his claims of not being on the juice. Then again, remember the 80’s? Everyone was on the juice and the schedules were harder, and yet the injuries didn’t seem to plague wrestlers like they do now…at least they aren’t as publicized that’s for sure. Kennedy claims that he has officially returned! He also says he’s the mystery man for later tonight’s 10 man tag match.
At this point my DVR crapped out on me. YEP! It exploded again, and I couldn’t finish watching Raw. However, the rest of the results didn’t stun or shock me:
Santino & Mickie James defeated Chavo Guerrero & Beth Phoenix
Goldust & Hornswoggle defeated The Brian Kendrick & Festus
John Cena, Batista, MVP, Jerry Lawler, and Mr Kennedy defeated Big Show, Randy Orton, Cody Rhodes, Ted Dibiase and The Miz
I wasn’t surprised by raw at all, it kind of made me glad I didn’t see the rest of it. I’m sure that my dvr will be fine for the rest of the week, these types of hiccups only happen every so often.

This next match was so convoluted that I just copied this from another site...
Mick Foley defending the TNA title in an Ultimate Sacrifice match against Sting, Kurt Angle and Jeff Jarrett. If Angle is pinned he loses his status as Godfather of the Main Event Mafia, if Sting is pinned he will never wrestle again, and if Jarrett is pinned he gives up his stake in TNA.
Jarrett strokes Angle from the ropes onto a chair and Sting came in and pins Angle at 14:57. Sting is now the godfather of the Main Event Mafia.
I couldn't afford this ppv so I didn't even see it. I got the results, and you know what? GREAT! I am glad I did not order TNA Sacrifice, this piece of trash company is worse than WCW 2000 ever was. Man I'm so sick of this company putting out the worst wrestling possible.
Oh and I'm kind of ticked of personally because not only am I BROKE, no one buys crap from my links, but now WWE is teaming up with HULU!
Why am I still paying for cable?
Man I'm having a hard time today. Oh well.

TNA Legends Championship - I Quit Match AJ Styles defeated Booker T
Oh well.

WWE Friday Night Smackdown 5/22/09 Review
The show opened up with Edge talking trash about Jeff Hardy and how good he was at Judgment Day. He was out there talking, and out came Theodore Long, who made a rematch for Extreme Rules. Jeff Hardy came out and got a match made somehow against Edge! The winner tonight in the rematch, will get to create the stipulations for their world championship match at Extreme rules later on this month!
John Morrison and Cryme Tyme defeated Shelton Benjamin, Ricky Ortiz, and Charlie Haas
Here we go, the jobbers against…the jobbers? I’m not sure what’s up with this match is or what it was meant to prove. It seemed like the b and c wrestlers were in this match up trying to be cool. Morrison is the only one in this match that is on the way up. The other guys just seemed like they were fulfilling a contract role in the WWE, and that’s why they were in this match. That’s not to take anything away from these guys, but it just seemed cobbled together to force these guys into the public’s eye. As far as the match is concerned, it wasn’t half bad, there were hot tags, there was isolation involved, and it just seemed an odd mix of wrestlers, making obvious mistakes, and trying to bring the crowd into the match, but moreover trying to make John Morrison the better wrestler of the bunch. If you don’t believe me, just watch the closing moments, with John Morrison hitting all his moves and getting top billing from JR for winning this match via pinfall on Charlie Haas.
Alicia fox getting slapped by Melina was stupid.
The number one contender was set to get decided next…I was so over the whole thing…but whatever.
Michelle McCool defeated Gail Kim
Wow, Gail Kim is back in the wwe? Yeah, I know she’s wrestled in the WWE before, but it seems like going into this match, the WWE hasn’t really put their chips on the line with her. It’s almost like they coerced her to jump ship from TNA only to have her job out to the champion and McCool…but the match had just began when I was thinking those thoughts, and I had to wait it out. Alicia Fox tried to interfere and while Kim knocked her away, McCool hit her finisher and it was over. Gail Kim is now just another diva’s jobber, way to ruin your career huh? I don’t blame her, I’d sell out in a second, I’m broke!
C.M. Punk defeated Chris Jericho via Disqualification when Umaga interfered
Well, I didn’t see the match last night, but if it was anything like this one, I’m glad to see that the WWE is letting these smaller dude’s get a fair shake. The match was back and forth with neither man getting the dominant hand, despite the odds shifting in each direction from time to time, as they each countered each other and tried to keep the other down. The counters towards the end were classic, and rolling into the Walls of Jericho was great. However, Grisham said that Jericho won a lot of matches with the Walls, but I beg to differ. When’s the last time he won via submission? Umaga ran down to fight off Punk, causing the dq, and he had a leather strap…I’m sure there will be a leather strap match for the Extreme Rules ppv. I didn’t like the ending, but Jericho is saved a second loss, I guess.
GUESS WHAT! UMAGA CAN SPEAK PERFECT ENGLISH! NICE CONTINUITY WWE! THANKS FOR PUNCHING MY BRAIN STEM WITH YOUR STUPID WRITING!
Dolph Ziggler defeated R. Truth
I wasn’t sure where this match was headed since both guys, to me are jobbers; Dolph Ziggler was getting beat up for a good part of this match up. He was getting worked against R Truth but it was Truth that got the raw end of the deal with another embarrassing loss. Is R Truth going to get fired soon too? I don’t know, he’s not getting that title push that he was getting a few months back with Shelton Benjamin, remember that?
Khali chased down Ziggler and he ran away…end of that.
Jeff Hardy dfeated Edge
I’m so sick of WWE repetition. Seriously it’s getting tough to stand. I’ve seen this match so many times, and now I have to see it not only here but also see it at the ppv? Oh, I can’t afford the ppv, so maybe I’ll get to miss it for a change. The match had Edge getting the upper hand towards the end of the match, Hardy was looking defeated and the crowd was getting a little too quiet. That being said, Edge looked as if he had no nagging injuries and was perfect in this match until he leaped off the middle rope into a nicely executed dropkick by Jeff Hardy! Picture perfect indeed, and Hardy started to turn the tables on Edge yet again. The Spear reversal was nice, but I’ve seen it before! Give me something new to work with folks! Come on! The near falls towards the end woke me up from my pouting mood, and it was nice to see that we get a longer match on WWE programming. Hardy hit the Twist of Fate and it looked like he was getting set to win this one with the Swanton Bomb! Edge tried to block it but nope, Edge loses clean but not for the title, so now Hardy will pick the stipulations of the extreme rules match. I’m sure it will be ladder or something stupid like that. I’m tired of seeing these two wrestle, I’m sorry, this is HHH vs The Rock 1997 – 1998 all over again. I’m sick of these two wrestling each other. We’re not in 1988 we are not watching AWA or WCW give us Flair vs Steamboat classics, these are getting tired, I’m getting tired.
So what did Jeff Hardy decide?
Ladder Match...Like I predicted 5 seconds before the answer was given.

TNA Impact 5/21/09 Results
Suicide & Christopher Daniels defeated Lethal Consequences and The Motor City Machine Guns
Sting defeated Erik Young
Kurt Angle defeated Matt Morgan
TNA Impact 5/21/09 Review
I’m back in action here with a review of TNA…more of a recap really, because I’m really tired. Jeff Jarrett came down to ringside and started talking crap about how TNA is changing or something. There will be a fourway match for Foley’s title at the ppv. Foley came down with the belt, and you know what? This crap sucks. Both these guys are beyond their prime and they are supposed to be the top guys in TNA…lame.
Suicide & Christopher Daniels defeated Lethal Consequences and The Motor City Machine Guns
This triple threat tag team match nd it was a culmination of the last few weeks of people calling each other out, and blaming Daniels for being Suicide or something along those lines. Alright, this match was interesting only because we don’t get this type of fast paced wrestling in the WWE. The X-Division is awesome here, these guys remind me of the cruiserweights from WCW, they just keep going and going. The Machine Guns looked like the aggressors in this match up with a string of moves that only happen in their matches included a picture perfect frog splash. Of course, what kind of match would it be without some reversals and near falls? The match kept moving with Suicide getting more and more involved in the match, and he nailed an awesome Code Breaker like move and picked up the pin!
Team 3-D was in ring talking about how great they were…it was lame to me, cause it seems so formulaic at this point. The British guys ran down and beat up Team 3-D and one dude hit what appeared to be the classic British Bulldog’s Power Slam. I guess that wasn’t too bad. The British dudes are pretty cool, I like factions; Beer Money ran down and saved Team 3-D from a further beat down which was kind of weird.
Sting defeated Erik Young
I’m not sure how Erik Young got a match with the former Champion Sting. Sting beat Erik Young like he was a jobber and that was that. I don’t even know how to reiew this one, Sting defeated Young with the Scorpion Death Lock and that was it.
Velvet Sky and Awesome Kong were signing a contract in ring. I couldn’t help but notice tat Velvet Sky is really gross looking up close. Earl Hebner is looking really ld too. Awesome Kong actually looks like a younger woman, in comparison. I hate contract signings, they all end the same…some gets beat down.
Kurt Angle defeated Matt Morgan
Kurt Angle defeated Matt Morgan
Matt Morgan really put the boots to Kurt Angle. He really had a lot of shots against Kurt and it was really good through the time allotted. Morgan dominated the match and it was ALL Morgan, it was nice to see Angle allowing a younger guy to get over a little. Angle however ended up winning with a small package, and it was over. This was interesting to see, and although it wasn’t longer, it did have enough of a push for Matt Morgan to look legit in ring. I still think he sucks though.
Samoa Joe and Jeff Jarrett fought each other for no apparent reason. Aj Styles came down and fought the two, the match was thrown out, I guess. This was a stupid way to squeeze in another match.
Afterwards, Foley fought a cardboard cut out of Rocky. No joke. This was dumb.
TNA sucked so bad, I can’t believe I got up at 5 am to review it. I hope you guys appreciate this…so lame.
Oh and the show ended with Foley knocking out Angle, Jarrett and Sting with a chair.

ECW on Scifi 5/20/09 Results
Christian defeated Paul Burchill
Zack Ryder defeated Adam Green
DH Smith defeated Finlay
ECW on Scifi 5/20/09 Review
The night opened up with Jack Swagger in ring pouting about how he got screwed over at Judgment Day. Then after a few minutes out comes the general manager and eventually orders him to the backstage area and after some protest, he complies, like a little girl.
Christian defeated Paul Burchill
There was no chance that Paul Burchill was going to win this match up. I didn’t think he was going to win at all, and while he did have some great spots in this match, you just knew that there wasn’t a chance that he would win over the ECW champion. One thing to note was that Christian was favoring his knee after being tossed off the ramp by Jack Swagger. Burchill was really taking advantage of this, specifically by throwing Christian at the steel ring steps and then continuing to punish Christian’s knee. Christian took some major damage, but he managed to make a comeback and wins against Paul Burchill. How long before Paul is let go? Sooner than Later, probably.
Post match, Tommy Dreamer issued a challenge for the ECW title! Maybe Tommy is going to get one more chance at the belt.
Zack Ryder defeated Adam Green
Zack Ryder I weird. He’s like a parody but worse. He should maybe team up with the likes of DJ Gabriel? I don’t know. There wasn’t much to say about this match, his finishing move was interesting, a falling knee/kneckbreaker, which was interesting, but other than that, this match sucked. I am not a big fan of jobber matches.
DH Smith defeated Finlay
If you wanted a throwback to the old style of wrestling, you got it in this match. Finlay worked on DH Smith’s arm, and really slowed down the match completely. This match was a mat war, with not a whole lot more going on. The match did turn around towards the end as Smith was trying to show that he had some strength, but overall it was Finlay showing that he might be getting a little old, or that he too can rival the Hart Dungeon training somehow. I’m not sure where the match was intended to go, but eventually things spilled out to the floor and Finlay had to contend with interference from Natalya and Tyson Kidd, forcing him to take his eyes off the prize and let DH Smith get the win with a lot of help from a foreign object. This match was long and drawn out…not a new wave wrestling match at all.

WWE Monday Night Raw 05/18/09 Results

Santino defeated Chavo Guerrero
The Colons defeated Goldust & The Brian Kendrick
MVP defeated Matt Hardy
Vickie Guerrero defeated Santina in a Miss Wrestlemania match
Batista & John Cena defeated Legacy
WWE Monday Night Raw 05/18/09 Review
It’s good to be back home, and I’m sure all 3 of you readers missed a few reviews that were missed. I noticed that the site made no money while I was gone, and that’s fine, but I don’t know if I can get a TNA ppv this month as I’m broke now.
Randy Orton opened up the show. He started talking trash as usual….then who came out but the Retired Ric Flair. So much for that final send off, huh? I guess he’s back somehow. Flair announces that Orton’s next title defense will come inside a Steel Cage, so that he can’t get disqualified? Oh it’s one of those? The ones where the ref isn’t inside? Because when’s the last time we saw that happen?
Orton delivered one of the worst shots I’ve ever to Flair’s face. It was so ill-timed. Batista ran down after Legacy was starting to come down the stage, but the numbers game once again helped Orton and his crew of misfits gain control. John Cena came down for the save and the ring was cleared! This of course will lead to a tag match…I hate tag matches that don’t involve two “tag teams” alone. But such is life sometimes, huh?
Kelly Kelly won The Divas Battle Royal
Alright, the divas were piled into a Divas Battle Royal. I didn’t want to see any of this, I don’t like the divas at all, it’s a big tease at this point with little to no wrestling prowess at all. Kelly Kelly’s elimination of Beth Phoenix might cause her to start a feud of sorts. Maryse sprayed Mickie James in the face with some perfume or something, and Kelly Kelly wins this match up! Whatever….I don’t care. “Holla…Holla….” Man that music sucks.
Santino defeated Chavo Guerrero
How do you make Chavo look like a good wrestler, or make it seem like he’s still a relevant superstar for the wwe? Have him wrestle Santino, in a hilarious match where he stomps out Santino at every move. Then again, Santino randomly “hulked” up, I kid you not, that being said, Santino was the accidental technical wrestler, ducking and diving his way to a win! So my plot to call out WWE conspiracies to make Chavo good again…backfired because Santino stole one here.
Chavo then got on the mic and said that Santina would have to defend her Wrestlemania diva’s title or whatever against Vickie later tonight. I dreaded hearing this lame announcement…lame.
The Colons defeated Goldust & The Brian Kendrick
Once again, Goldust is thrown into an unlikely tag team partnership. Remember, previously, Goldust was great with the likes of Booker T! Remember that? He also had short lived partnership with The Blue Meanie, and others. Goldust is great as a comedy act and it’s interesting to see him in this match with Brian Kendrick, but I wasn’t sure if this thing was going to carry over into something more, especially when The Colons’ were delivering like the best tag team in the world! The two are amazing in ring together, and I hope that the WWE doesn’t split them into a “brother vs brother” feud. Kendrick lost this one and he’s on a major losing streak. He then yelled at Goldust and provoked him to fight him. I hope Goldust has a third or fourth coming here, Dustin should just be glad that he has a job right now.
Hornswoggle came into the ring and fought Kendrick with the help of Goldust, forming a very unlikely partnership. Why not? Goldy and Horny? I’m tired.
The Miz came down to ringside and talked about how he beat Cena. He was also dressed like Cena, making for a hilarious moment in time. The King came into the ring and started calling out wrestlers to compare The Miz’s victory over John Cena to logic. It was hilarious, and a part of me really wanted Batista to come out at King’s call and beat him up, it would’ve been awesome.
The Big Show came down to ring side and beat up The Miz, which was interesting…in that The Big Show just killed The Miz.
MVP defeated Matt Hardy
MVP is really BALLIN! He’s got me saying that at random locations, signals and all! I was in the sports section at the Supermarket, and I was “BALLIN” with anything ball shaped! It was fun. I can’t really avoid it, it’s impulsive; try it, it makes you feel better. MVP and Hardy are familiar opponents and they put on a good match up, with Hardy pretending that his arm was really broken, and after the random spots, the inevitable happened, MVP pinned Matt Hardy and it was all over. MVP wins again, proving that he’s still BALLIN!
Santino’s backstage antics were great. But the lead in was Chavo on the floor with Vickie on a chair…it looked really awkward. I don’t want to say incest…but my wheels aer turning.
Vickie Guerrero defeated Santina in a Miss Wrestlemania match
This match was dumb. Santina got beat up by William Regal, and of course that should’ve garnered disqualification…however, they turned this into a no dq match midway through.
Batista & John Cena defeated Legacy
I’m not sure how many times we’ve seen this, but I feel that this is just boring. We see this too often, handicap match with the faces looking great. So if you’ve seen any major previous match featuring the top faces in the game, you probably saw this match. I have a feeling that this match is at the house shows, but whatever the case maybe, Legacy was actually doing a good job holding their own midway through the match up. They just seemed like a well oiled machine, and why not? They are truly gaining on the “legacy” of The Four Horseman at this point. They have some more major title’s to go, but overall it’s getting good, seriously good. Things were falling apart until Ric Flair came down and lent an assist to the good guys, and Batista gets the pin on Orton!
Flair never retires…lame.
I’m tired, that’s it folks. I’ll be back tomorrow with ECW’s show review…enjoy.

ECW on Scifi 5/12/9 Results and Review Swagger stops By Again
ECW on Scifi 5/12/09 Results
Mark Henry defeated Tommy Dreamer
Finlay defeated Tyson Kidd via dq
Vladimir Kozlov defeated a jobber
Ecw on Scifi 5/12/09 Review
The show opened up with Christian and Jack Swagger talking to the general manager. It was the worst promo I’ve seen in a long time. Such a stale bit of backstage introduction, that I wanted to just go back to bed.
Mark Henry defeated Tommy Dreamer
Tommy almost had me believing that he could make a comeback in ECW, however it just didn’t work. Mark Henry got worked and basically just lost this match up due to brute force. Mark Henry was never too far away from control, and Tommy Dreamer did have a few moments of greatness, but not enough to win this match, so Dreamer is on his way out.
Finlay defeated Tyson Kidd via dq
This match was very back and forth with Tyson Kidd and Finlay exchanging various points in this match up. This was probably one of the better matches in ECW lately as the two were really putting their best foot forward as far as mat wrestling was concerned. However, Finlay looked like he was getting the edge against Tyson Kidd only to have the rug swept from under him, with the DH Smith interfering.
For those of you that don’t know DH Smith is the son of The British Bulldog. He’s considerably smaller, and at the end of the match the two performed The Heart Attack, the move made famous by the old Hart Foundation.
Vladimir Kozlov defeated a jobber
Kozlov defeated some random jobber, it was stupid and nothing really happened.
Christian had his Peep Show with the former ECW champion as the guest. Jack Swagger was in ring verbally sparring with Christian, or trying to anyways. It was kind of funny, but that was about it.
Ecw was lame this week.
****NOTE
I’ll be out of town this next few days. I will only have smaller updates and no reviews until next Tuesday with the Raw review. If you really want to help, buty something from amazon so I can get a ppv or two, it’s costing more than it should. If not, that’s cool, I’ll be back next week with more.

WWE Monday Night Raw 5/11/09 Results and Review The Orton Showcase
WWE Monday Night Raw 5/11/09 Results
Ted Dibiase & Cody Rhodes defeated Batista via dq
Kelly Kelly & Mickie James defeated Maryse & Jillian
The Brian Kendrick defeated Carlito
The Miz defeated John Cena in an exhibition of sorts
Santina defeated Beth Phoenix
Kofi Kingston & MVP defeated Matt Hardy & William Regal
Legacy defeated Batista via dq
WWE Monday Night Raw 5/11/09 Review
Randy Orton came out and patronized the crowd on the mic. Batista came down to shake things up a little bit and that prompted Vickie Guerrero to come out and talk some nonsense. I was somewhat bored.
Ted Dibiase & Cody Rhodes defeated Batista via dq
This match was a handicap match and it was looking like Batista was in full control of this one. The match was all Batista, until Cody Rhodes threw a chair into the ring, Batista picked it up and was disqualified for “intent” to use a chair. That ended the match, and Batista loses via disqualification.
Kelly Kelly & Mickie James defeated Maryse & Jillian
Kelly seemed to have a few moved in this match, and I still say she’s getting better with every match. Jillian of course is a solid worker, and Maryse seems to look thepart more than actually wrestle. Mickie James seemed to be working on air in this match as she was flying around with perfect timing. I can’t believe how good she’s gotten in recent years, and her timing has really improved since the time she was stalking Trish Stratus. Mickie James hit a huge ddt on Maryse to win the match for her team. Overall, this was a short match with not a whole lot to offer, but it had it’s moments.
The Brian Kendrick defeated Carlito
Carlito had to wrestle The Brian Kendrick in this rematch to last week’s instant classic. Carlito is so crisp in ring now, he’s got a lot of confidence in the ring. He’s come a long way from being Carlito Caribbean Cool, defeating Cena in his opening match up. Kendrick had some great reversals, and fast paced action, eventually he mounted a good reversal, throwing Carlito into the ring post and rolling him up for a quick win.
The Miz defeated John Cena in an exhibition of sorts
John Cena finally got a chance to fight the loud mouth Miz. The Miz was coming out on Raw talking about ho he has beaten Cena and how he is better than Cena. Well now he gets a shot at really wrestling the guy, and this match proved to be a lot harder for The Miz than merely talking on the microphone. Cena was in full force after a steady amount of punishment by The Miz. Cena was going to hit his finishing move, but there was no ref in the ring, and so Vickie Guerrero came onto the big screen and basically stopped this match up….for a second….The Miz hit a huge ddt and The Miz was left there standing over him.
Santina defeated Beth Phoenix
Santina wrestled Beth Phoenix in this match up and it was weird. It was really weird to see Santino wrestling Beth Phoenix, it was just odd; Santina took the easy win with a roll up and this match was in the books. This was a terrible match up.
MVP had his VIP room at this point. His guest was William Regal. William Regal came out and just started talking about he hates the new draft members. Matt Hardy came out during this segment, and confronted William Regal. He said that he deserves a U.S title shot.
Kofi Kingston & MVP defeated Matt Hardy & William Regal
Chavo interrupted the VIP to set up a new match up that would start immediately. It was a tag match and when we returned from the break it was Hardy and Regal in full control of this match up. This match was slowing down fast, as William Regal was stretching Kofi Kingston and grounding his high flying offense, boring the crowd and me, since I was tired. MVP was straight up ballin, and was hitting his offense with ease after getting a hot tag. Matt Hardy kept faking that broken hand injury to his favor. MVP was on a roll against Regal, meanwhile Hardy ran away and left Regal alone in the ring against MVP, and after the drive by MVP wins for his team.
Legacy defeated Batista via dq
This was supposed to be a handicap match of sorts, but it was just Randy Orton getting the brunt of the punishment. Batista got a chair then got the ring steps and then brought them inside and he was really busting up Randy Orton. The rest of his cronies were no where in sight.
After Orton took a beating, out ran down the rest of the crew and Batista was just throwing down punishment. Raw ended with Batista looking super strong against Orton and his cronies.

WWE Friday Night Smackdown Results 5/8/09

Your pal sir jorge here. I wasn't able to watch Smackdown this week because I was at a show again. I went to see Braille and Othello rip up the mic near my home in Seattle. I do have the Smackdown results below for you.
I'll have a special sneak peak at a new Torrie Wilson spot in a reality show, and then I'll have full raw and ecw results next week.
I will NOT be reviewing smackdown and tna next week because I will be out of town.
Mike Knox defeated R-Truth
Michelle Mcool defeated Gail Kim
CM Punk defeated Edge by countout in a non title match.
John Morrison defeated Charlie Hass
Cryme Time came out and did a segment in which Eve beat Layla in an arm wrestling match. Layla than attacked Eve. Pointless segment. The crowd groaned at all of this.
5. The Great Khali defeated Dolph Ziggler by DQ.
Jeff Hardy defeated Chris Jericho

Tna Impact Results 5/6/09
Hey guys,
I'm behind, really behind. As a result this week's Smackdown and TNA results are not going to get full reviews.
Last Night I was at a show seeing Strung Out & Death by Stereo play in Seattle and couldn't get up this morning to watch the TNA tapings.
So I just figure I'd give it all to you right now Here are 2 weeks of results. Next week I won't be doing a tna or smackdown review as I will be out of town.
Yeah, I know, It's lame, but bare with me.
* TNA champion Mick Foley had his "first title defense", which was a comedy bit where he beat up a cardboard cutout of Rocky Balboa
, beating it with the People's Elbow. This led to Jeff Jarrett, Sting and Kurt Angle all getting involved, so they are the three Sacrifice challengers.
* Kurt Angle defeated Matt Morgan in what was described to me as "shockingly good."
* TNA X-Division champ Suicide defeated Consequences Creed.
* The Main Event Mafia defeated TNA champ Mick Foley, Jeff Jarrett, Samoa Joe, AJ Styles and Daniels when Sting pinned Foley.
* Sting announced that if he is pinned at Sacrifice, he will retire from wrestling.
* Homicide defeated Sheik Abdul Bashir.
* Matt Morgan destroyed the Main Event Mafia security.
* Lethal Consequences accuse Daniels of being Suicide. Daniels gets angry. The Motor City Machineguns get involved.
* Daniels pinned Chris Sabin.
* Awesome Kong beat Velvet Sky in a Stretcher match.

Ecw on Scifi 5/5/09 Results and Review Late Starter
I forgot to set my dvr to record this early on, and ended up missing the very beginning of this one, but I’ll review it based on what I started at.
Ecw on Scifi 5/5/09 Results
Evan Bourne defeated Tyson Kidd
Vladimir Kozlov defeated Jesse Guilmette
Mark Henry and Jack Swagger defeated Tommy Dreamer and Christian
Ecw on Scifi 5/5/09 Review
Evan Bourne defeated Tyson Kidd
My dvr picked this up at the midpoint of the Tyson Kidd match up against Evan Bourne. Kidd was slowing down the match up completely. Kidd was making this boring to me, and I didn’t really enjoy the mid point of this match at all. I admit though Kidd has amazing timing, and so does Bourne. The tilt a whirl back breaker was as good if not better than anything you might see in Lucha Libre lately. Evan Bourne kept trying to mount a comeback and eventually got a slight edge over Tyson Kidd with a short knee to the chin from a standing position (no not the high or low knee by Triple H). Natalya got involved into this match and nearly cost Evan Bourne. Finlay came down to regulate, hit Kidd and allowed Bourne to hit the Shooting Star press for the win over Tyson! Overall a good match but the announce team weren’t to excited at this match and it made me kind of tired. Those dudes need to get a little more excited about their jobs, I mean they aren’t rocket scientists.
Jack Swagger was in the ring talking and griping, but Tommy Dreamer ran down and taught him a quick lesson, Swagger ran away and looked at the camera angrily. Zack Ryder showed up backstage and there was some random Hot chick and it reminded me of my old Manager Vickie, she was kind of hot. I heard some stories….I’ll just stop there.
Vladimir Kozlov defeated Jesse Guilmette
Kozlov bulldozed his way through this no name jobber. I don’t like these jobber matches. I haven’t liked them since I was a kid. I don’t think that Kozlov needs any help to prove that he’s a monster. He hasn’t even been tested on ECW and is just filler. I wish I had a job where I just beat up a jobber and then went home. Instead I have to work 9 to 5 like a chump.
Christian vs Mark Henry No Contest
Christian had this match in control but out came Jack Swagger to mop up then Tommy Dreamer came out to fight Jack Swagger. This match wasn’t going anywhere, until the interruption. Out came the general manager and she declared a tag team match. So after the break we started a new tag team match instead of the singles match of boredom.
Mark Henry and Jack Swagger defeated Tommy Dreamer and Christian
This match picked up midway through a tag team match up and it looked as though Mark Henry and Jack Swagger had things going in their favor. Tommy Dreamer got a hot tag and he was making the best of it. He had Swagger in the Tree of Woe, Mark Henry ran into Swagger and then it seemed like clockwork, Dreamer and Christian were throwing down like it was 1999. Swagger changes the course of this match with an exposed middle turnbuckle and the Swagger bomb for the win. So there you have it, the douchebag All American American wins this match up.

Mickie James defeated Maryse
Ted Dibiase Jr. defeated Batista
Carlito defeated The Brian Kendrick
Shane McMahon defeated Legacy via DQ
Wwe Monday Night Raw 5/4/09 Review
The show, for once, didn’t start with talking on the mic. It seemed as though we were on a collision course with wrestling as Orton came to ringside ad awaited Shane McMahon. McMahon ambushed Orton from behind and the match started on the outside, with a brawl ensuing. Shane had this thing going his way completely but out came the rest of Legacy and they descended on Shane, beating him 3 on 1. MVP came down to the ring for the save, he was throwing haymakers, but it wasn’t enough as he had to fight 3 on 1 as well. Batista came running down to ringside as well, and he single handedly took out Legacy and Randy Orton ran away like a cowardly dog.
Vickie Guerrero came down to ringside and yelled about crap. She said that Shane McMahon will wrestle Orton. Mvp will take on Cody Rhodes, and Batista will face Ted Dibiase. If either one wins their match they join either Randy Orton or Shane’s corner. “Win and your in” they said, and I was a blur case I was tired.
Kofi Kingston defeated Matt Hardy
Matt Hardy was fighting with a cast again. Kofi was getting worked over really good by Matt in this match. Even with one arm Matt hardy was putting on a good match, nd that’s a big credit to him and Kofi, both working well through the match, much like Cowboy Bob Orton when he wore a cast for six years. In a shocker, Kofi Kingston somehow managed to win this one via pinfall, this was rad; Kofi Kingston then was attacked by Matt Hardy with his cast, surprise surprise.
Cody Rhodes defeated MVP by countout
MVP was putting on a good show here against Cody Rhodes in this match up. Cody has been steadily improving as well, I’m surprised that the WWE hasn’t forced him to bulk up, he looked small compared to a much larger MVP. It wasn’t like he was being dwarfed but it was definitely interesting to note. William Regal knocked MVP off the apron, forcing a count out.
At this point there was a singing contest? It was weird. Festus and Jillian sang and what not. The Miz came out and beat up Festus, and then cut another promo about how cool he was. He called out John Cena again and this time around John Cena came out to the ramp. Then down came The Big Show.
There was a stand off, no sign of the Miz here, just Show and Cena. The Big Show then beat up Cena, much to the fans delight…well adult fans that don’t buy ppv or merchandise and talk on blogs. Not me, I buy stuff and barely scrape enough cash for 2 ppv’s a month.
Mickie James defeated Maryse
This was an interesting match up. Mickie James got a lot of good shots into this match up and it seemed like Maryse was made to look weak against the former Women’s champion because the ending was terrible. Maryse lost this one clean, and I am tired. This was dumb.
Ted Dibiase Jr. defeated Batista
This seemed obvious, with MVP losing earlier, I knew that Ted would be losing this one. This was standard Batista fair, he was getting worked early on, with rest holds of all things, until an epic comeback. After a while, I thought this thing was going to go all Batista, but then, Ted Dibiase won via disqualified!
Carlito defeated The Brian Kendrick
This match was great, it was fast paced and entertaining. However, this match was terrible for Kendrick. Once again Kendrick loses, and Carlito has really upped his game. Carlito pushes through in his one even though Kendrick has a lot of great pieces of offense though, so it wasn’t a total squash, but when the dust settled it was Carlito looking good yet again.
Shane McMahon defeated Legacy via DQ
This was a major handicap match. Shane McMahon was taking care of business. Seriously, he was really putting on a great show getting the upper hand on all of Legacy. However, it wouldn’t last forever because Orton got upset and was stomping Shane out like a chump. I’m not sure where the WWE was going through with this match, they are showing Shane can be superman at times, taking unnecessary risks. Legacy really then went to work on permanently injuring Shane McMahon towards the end of this match by putting his leg down and getting hit with the steel steps. I hate this ending, and didn’t get it. Shane McMahon wins but gets a broken leg for his trouble.

WWE Friday Night Smackdown 5/1/09 Results and Review Edge Returns
WWE Friday Night Smackdown 5/1/09 Results
John Morrison defeated Shelton Benjamin
Jeff Hardy defeated Rey Mysterio Jr , Kane, and Chris Jericho in a 4 way elimination match
MVP defeated Dolph Ziggler
Cm Punk defeated Edge in a non title match
WWE Friday Night Smackdown 5/1/09 Review
We start the show like we start most wrestling shows, with someone coming out on the mic. Chris Jericho jumped in and talked but out came the Rated R superstar Edge! Edge got on the mic and told Jericho to shut up, and got into his face. The two were arguing when CM Punk interrupted them! OH HECK YEAH! I marked out huge, I like Punk right now, I hope he gets the title again, and I’m glad to see him getting the spotlight.
Punk is a smaller guy, he’s obviously not the traditional, and he’s getting a push. So anyone out there complaining about the WWE needs to shut their mouth and stop writing complaints.
Jericho walked out, and said he was done and he left, like a wuss toa tremendous amount of heat! Punk and Edge were left in the ring to talk. Tonight Punk faces Edge in a non title match and he plans on cashing it in, Edge leaves scared. A good opening to Smackdown.
John Morrison defeated Shelton Benjamin
Shelton Benjamin and John Morrison started their match fast and furious, yeah I said it; the two were evenly matched and were trading blow for blow until Benjamin hit a straight kick to the face of Morrison, and you could hear the impact! The Moonlight Drive was looming through the whole match, and after a few subtle mistakes from Benjamin it was hit forcing Benjamin to lose yet again. The Gold Standard is far from his title reign days, as Morrison wins another singles match without the Miz
Jeff Hardy defeated Rey Mysterio Jr , Kane, and Chris Jericho in a 4 way elimination match
I thought for sure that Chris Jericho would’ve won this match considering the opening segment. I thought this early, and so if the end of this paragraph confirms that, I want to express the fact that I didn’t read the spoilers, I never read spoilers unless I’m out of town. The crowd was firmly behind Hardy, as they were chanting Hardy throughout the onset of this match in such a vocal manner that it came across on television. The four were putting on a great match, with a few near falls in the mid match. The Walls of Jericho had Hardy nearly tapping, Kane then got into the Walls of Jericho. Then Rey was ready to hit the 619, but Jericho stopped it, a Whisper in the Wind took down Kane, and a Swanton Bomb created the first elimination…so I thought, but in came Jericho to eliminate Kane!
Chris Jericho Eliminated Kane.
Jericho eliminated himself after throwing a steel chair at Rey Mysterio as he leaped off the top rope! This was great piece of wrestling, if you missed it, you really missed it; Jericho’s elimination brought this match to an incredible conclusion.
Jericho was disqualified and eliminated.
Jeff Hardy and Rey Mysterio were left as the final two in this match, and that was an exciting thing. I was marking out huge for this match up, as I don’t recall these two wrestling in the past, at least not off the top of my head. The two exchanged several back and forth near falls, and eventually Jeff Hardy managed to get the 1-2-3 and pinned Rey Mysterio. This match was amazing towards the end, Neither one could get the upper hand right away, but it was Jeff with a roll up, locking the shoulders for the win. Jeff hardy is now the #1 contender at Judgment Day.
At this point there was a dance contest with Layla and Eve Torres and Cryme Tyme. It was battle style and I didn’t really care about it at all. Seriously, it was boring to me. It reminded me of the Nitro Girls, they were employed for no apparent reason. This was unnecessary to me.
MVP defeated Dolph Ziggler
MVP put his U.S title belt on the line here. Sherri Shepherd came out with him. This match was entertaining, nothing more nothing less. The match moved in a steady pace and it never really looked like MVP was in trouble at all. He mowed right through Dolph Ziggler and eventually scored the pinfall victory. I thought the match was average but boy was it entertaining. That’s all that matters at this point, entertainment, and it did that. Dolph is a good villain, much like Renee Dupree was a good villain for Cena when he had the U.S title. I hope MVP keeps it up, I’d like to see him move towards the main event like he did on Raw last week.
John Morrison and Chris Jericho started a fight backstage! That was amazing! FINALLY they are starting feuds like the old days! I marked out huge for that! I was like a little kid again! YES more FIGHTS backstage, that’s how you build hot feuds.
Case in point, Remember Triple H and Marc Mero? It started with Triple H yelling at Rena Mero backstage and it turned into a good feud! That was at Wrestlemania 12 for those of you that aren’t informed.
Cm Punk defeated Edge in a non title match
I wasn’t sure which way this match was going to go, but I was glad to see that C.M Punk was in the main event! Edge was taking advantage of his veteran status as he knew what to do to ground Punk. Punk has to really battle for very solid hit he nailed on Edge, and every time he had a little momentum, out came Edge with a counter. Edge started to lose a grip on things, then Edge was knocked out with a GTS! YES PUNK hit the GTS and won!
Following the match he started the briefcase, he then cashed in the money in the Bank!
Cm Punk vs Edge No Contest?
CM PUNK restarted the match, however out came UMAGA! Umaga hit C.M. Punk and decimated him into oblivion. The match never really started, I guess it closed down? I have no idea what happened here. Punk still has the title shot? I don’t know.
Punk was knocked out, Edge was knocked out, Jeff hardy was the #1 contender, Umaga is out assaulting Cm Punk for no reason, and that’s the end of Smackdown!
I don’t know what’s going on, but one thing is for sure, WWE has me intrigued and watching!

Amazing Red & Suicide defeated The Motor City Machine Guns
Doug Williams & Brutus Magnus defeated Homicide
Awesome Kong defeated Madison Rayne in a stretcher match
Abyss defeated Cody Deaner
Booker T & Kevin Nash defeated Aj Styles & Samoa Joe
Tna Impact 4/30/09 Review
The show opened u with Foley in the back talking to JB about random stuff. Jarrett refused comment, and the show began. A lame intro, that’s for sure.
Kurt Angle came out and talked about a global takeover, then we moved to Jarrett in the back telling Foley that he has to stay away from Jarrett.
Lame.
Amazing Red & Suicide defeated The Motor City Machine Guns
First thing that I noticed was that Amazing Red was in this match! He is fast and he is dead on accurate, I’m surprised to see him back. Suicide was his partner, but I didn’t care about that. Suicide wasn’t in this match a whole lot, as The Amazing Red was in there putting on a showcase. Sabin and Shelley had a few spots where they were beating up Red, but Red just kept going, eventually getting the hot tag. This match was cool, I liked Amazing Red before, but now that he’s a little older, he’s still on point and I hope I can see more of the guy in the x-division. Suicide sucks, I never liked him. Suicide Solution was hit and The Amazing Red and Suicide move forward in the tag team tournament, and wow, Amazing Red! He looks like a teenager, he’s insane, check that kid out.
Doug Williams & Brutus Magnus defeated Homicide
Homicide had to fight the British Invasion by himself, as Hernandez was taken out in the backstage area. Homicide started fighting this match with high spots, and a flurry of offense, trying to get the upper hand, he was going move for move, no resting in between, but that couldn’t and didn’t last too long. The British Invasion had a nasty tag team finisher, it was a spinning European uppercut off the top rope while someone was on their shoulders, it was like the Doomsday device reborn! I admit, I marked out huge for that. Homicide couldn’t beat two guys, and that was the end.
Awesome Kong defeated Madison Rayne in a stretcher match
Awesome Kong basically annihilated Madison Rayne. She put Madison on the stretcher several times but kept picking up Rayne again and slamming her to the mat. The fans kept yelling “One More Time” and she obliged! Awesome Kong has officially become a fan favorite! Madison was dead, this was a huge squash match, Awesome won.
The Motor City Machine Guns called out Christopher Daniels and told him that they knew that he was Suicide! That’s right, they claimed Daniels was Suicide! About time someone addressed this situation. Daniels fought off The Machine Guns, but that’s about it.
Abyss defeated Cody Deaner
This was your basic throwback to ECW, as this plunder match was just a hardcore match up. Deaner put up a good fight after spraying Alcohol into Abyss’s face. It wasn’t lasting long as Abyss hit the Black Hole Slam and it was all over. This match was short and it wasn’t very fun to watch. I like hardcore matches, but this was just a lot of dancing and random misfires.
Booker T & Kevin Nash defeated Aj Styles & Samoa Joe
I’m assuming Samoa Joe was suppose to be in this match, but Aj Styles started this match solo against the two former heavyweight champions. Mid Match Samoa Joe came down, and it was to no avail. Booker T and Kevin Nash won after Sharmell helped Booker T win this one. A championship belt shot to the head of Aj Styles and a three count later, the match was done.
