TNA Impact 7/30/09 Results and Review The 200TH Episode
TNA Impact 7/30/09 Results and Review The 200TH Episode
**NOTE***
The optometrist dilated my pupils, so I couldn’t see that well. I had to try and write this review with blurred vision. If you see mistakes, misspellings, errors, and overall syntax screw ups, it’s because my eyes didn’t adjust just yet. So please cut me some slack as I review the 200th episode of Impact!
Tna Impact 7/30/09 Review
We’ve come 200 episodes into this program and they still don’t know how to do it properly. Out came the Main Event Mafia, as usual, hitting the ring. Kurt Angle starting whining about Lashley and how he hit the Mafia last week, and that he’s demanding answers asap. Lashley came out and tried to do his best on the mic, something he couldn’t do in WWE. Foley came out, and once again this thing was another cluster of random mic’s yelling at each other. Foley set up a match where him and Lashley could win the Legends Belt or the World Title Belt…so lame. Every match has a dumb stipulation attached to it.
Hernandez defeated Samoa Joe
Samoa Joe follows up his loss last week by facing the bigger half of the Latin American Exchange. I already knew who was going to win in this match, but it had few good moments. Samoa Joe looks like he’s getting tired faster these days. Samoa Joe was dominating the match with lots of kicks and moves, but it was Hernandez that got the upper hand with some great offense, surprising the big man, with a splash and getting the quick win. I guess I was wrong again, Joe loses, despite Taz being there with him. I kid you not, Samoa Joe is getting tired faster.
***NOTE****
Alright folks at this point my eyes kept blurring in and out. My optometrist was checking for glaucoma and gave me some stinging eye drops, 6 sets of 3 different eye drops and my pupils were gone....so I couldn't finish this review. I'm sorry.
Here's the rest of the results, and I'll have a Smackdown review for sure.
Matt Morgan defeated Aj Styles in the first of their 2 out of 3 match series
I like how they are trying to be like WCW when Booker T and Chris Benoit had that best of 5 series. Those matches were amazing, these matches? Probably not.
Awesome Kong, Tara, and ODB with Cody Deaner and Raisha Saeed defeated Angelina Love, Velvet Sky, and Madison Rayne
British Invasion defeated Team 3D for the IWGP Tag Titles in a Tables Match
Bobby Lashley & Mick Foley defeated Kurt Angle and Kevin Nash
As a result Mick Foley is the new Legends champion

ECW on ScyFy 7/28/09 Results The Christian Era Begins
ECW on ScyFy 7/28/09 Results
Tyler Reks defeated Paul Burchill
Kozlov defeated a jobber
Shamus defeated Goldust
Christian defeated Zack Ryder
ECW on ScyFy 7/28/09 Review
Tyler Reks defeated Paul Burchill
Paul Burchill is the new Brooklyn Brawler, for wrestlers today. Meaning that you have to wrestle Paul to see if you’re ready for a full time gig with WWE. That’s how they would measure you in the old days. Anyways, this match was interesting at times. Paul is gaining weight and is slowing down, it showed with Tyler Reks hitting fast moves for a big man. For a big guy he’s fast, really fast. He also uses the high flying stuff to his advantage, going for High Body Blocks off the top, and of course his finisher the Springboard Missile Dropkick. This time around he nearly messed up his own finisher, but he still hit it hard, dude can go, Tyler Reks is not half bad. Paul Burchill? He hit a few nice suplexes, but it wasn’t enough. Tyler Reks wins in his second match against Paul Burchill.
Kozlov defeated a jobber
Kozlov defeated a jobber. Yep, not much to say about that. I hate jobber matches, we’re a far cry away from WWF Wrestling Challenge on Sunday mornings. Kozlov wins with an easy match.
Shamus defeated Goldust
Shamus is extremely white, I’m not sure how he can maintain that on the road, but so far he has. Goldust was using his weight as an advantage, pushing Shamus around and forcing the match to focus on a harder style, but Shamus kept pacing himself, hitting basic moves to get the advantage on the veteran wrestler. Shamus somehow pulled this match off, and actually was quite impressive towards the end, beating Goldust with relative ease.
Christian defeated Zack Ryder
Zack Ryder wrestled Christian in the main event, and was actually putting on a half way decent match. This was made better due in large part that Ryder can go full speed, unlike Dreamer. Christian of course was putting the Boots to Ryder, with his standard set up of fast paced wrestling arsenal. Ryder was kicking out of a lot of heavier artillery from Christian, and it was interesting to note how this match was going, considering the champion wasn’t winning this one as easily as I’d have thought. Christian eventually hit the Killswitch and it was over. Christian wins a hard fought won.
ECW wasn't that great, but that last match was half way decent. Next week Christian and Dreamer Extreme Rules for the ECW Championship Belt!

WWE Monday Night Raw 7/27/09 Results and Review Night of Shaq
WWE Monday Night Raw 7/27/09 Results
Mark Henry defeated Carlito in a beat the clock match (6:49)
Mickie James, Gail Kim, and Kelly Kelly defeated Beth Phoenix, Rosa Mendez, and Alicia Fox
MVP vs The Masterpiece Ended in a Double Countout
Kofi Kingston defeated The Brian Kendrick
Triple H vs Cody Rhodes Time Limit Failure
Hornswoggle defeated Chavo Guerrero in a Blind Fold Match
Evan Bourne defeated Jack Swagger in a beat the clock match (3:09)
John Cena defeated the Miz in a beat the clock match for the #1 contendership to Orton’s title at Summerslam
Cryme Tyme defeated Chris Jericho & Big Show with Shaq as special Enforcer via Disqualifcation
WWE Monday Night Raw 7/27/09 Review
Jerry Lawler introduced Shaq, and he came down and he’s so huge! The crowd was into it, so that was ok. Chris Jericho came down to the ring and stood up to Shaq, but got PWNED right away! Shaq called him Christina which was hilarious! The Big Show was introduced, and he was looking huge, and he was going to confront Shaq. Big Show got PWNED too, Shaq wasn’t having it; Shaq made a match with Cryme Tyme and the tag champions, and he’s going to be the outside enforcer!
Mark Henry defeated Carlito in a beat the clock match (6:49)
Apparently Beat the Clock is back in action. This match was all Henry. Carlito had no major chance in this match up. He was getting worked the whole time. Carlito tried to get offense in, but he was thwarted at every moment, Henry was no selling everything! Is Mark Henry the new Triple H? Maybe. Carlito tried his best, but it was not to be had. Mark Henry defeated Carlito with relative ease, then he tried to get the fans involved.
Mickie James, Gail Kim, and Kelly Kelly defeated Beth Phoenix, Rosa Mendez, and Alicia Fox
Gail Kim and Beth Phoenix started this match, and it was really cool. The two “divas” can still wrestle and I always appreciate that out of those two. However, in came the other girls, and it wasn’t the same. Gail Kim tried to make Rosa, and Alicia look good, but it wasn’t happening. Those two are going to injure someone. Mickie James couldn’t even make Alicia Fox look good, her timing is off, and it’s evident she’s not going to last a long time in the WWE…at least I hope not. Whatever the case is, this match did manage some great spots from Mickie James, and Gail Kim, as well as Beth Phoenix, so it wasn’t all for not.
Shaq and Cole w/ Hornswoggle had a cool segment back stage where Shaq made cole look dumb.
MVP vs The Masterpiece Ended in a Double Countout
The Masterpiece came out, which hasn’t been on television for a long time. He looks like he’s still on the juice, in case you were wondering. MVP had to win this match under six minutes, to get a title shot. MVP was all over Masters, trying to get this match with a quick pin, but it wasn’t working that well, Masters kept fighting back and even showed a surprise bit of athleticism mid match. MVP wasn’t lying down though, he seriously wants a title shot, so he was throwing everything at Masters, as fast as possible. The Masterpiece locked on the Masterlock on the outside, and wouldn’t let go, getting himself and MVP counted out! So Mark Henry’s time is still the top number to beat.
Kofi Kingston defeated The Brian Kendrick
The Brian Kendrick is done. This match was roughly 20 seconds long. He went out there and was yelling at Jerry Lawler, mid rant Kofi hit Trouble in Paradise and pinned Kendrick without even trying. Looks like Kendrick is done…it’s over.
Triple H vs Cody Rhodes Time Limit Failure
Backstage Ted Dibiase Jr hit Triple H’s leg with a lead pipe. Cody then went into this match and went for the attack, working on Triple H’s leg. He didn’t have to win this match, he just had to make sure Triple H didn’t win with record time. It was pretty much Cody until the two minute mark, when Triple H was trying to mount a comeback, but it wasn’t working to his favor. Ted Dibiase came down to distract Triple H, he resisted, but wasn’t able to win this one as time ran out as he was hitting Cody Rhodes with the pedigree. Triple H will NOT BE in the main event at Summerslam, YES!
Hornswoggle defeated Chavo Guerrero in a Blind Fold Match
Shades of Wrestlemania 7 were seen here. I remember being in attendance at WM7 and screaming my lungs out for Jake the snake to hit the DDT on Martel, great match. Chavo’s jobber status was definitely cemented here. Hornswoggle yet again got the better of the veteran wrestler, and this wasn’t even funny, as much as it was sad. The saddest point was definitely Chavo hitting, or trying to hit a Frog Splash with nobody there…Chavo is a good sport for going with this but it really sucks for him, former ECW Champion, Cruiserweight Champion, tag team champion…oh well. Hornswoggle wins again. It must be noted that only Chavo Guerrero was blind folded.
Evan Bourne defeated Jack Swagger in a beat the clock match (3:09)
This match was a cluster of high spots and reactions. It was obvious to me that Bourne was going to win all along. It was an easy win, Swagger played along and lost in about 3 minutes. There wasn’t a whole lot to this match up. It’s an interesting match up, but this one could be good with more time.
Maybe I’m missing something, but Bourne beat the clock by winning with three minutes or so…but I guess that doesn’t mean that he wins? I don’t know, he won the match but he didn’t beat the clock? I don’t know, this got confusing, an I just let it go.
John Cena defeated the Miz in a beat the clock match for the #1 contendership to Orton’s title at Summerslam
The Miz was not just losing this match like usual, he was trying to make this match last as long as possible. It seemed like a no brainer, and it was. Cena wasn’t losing, and he didn’t, now he faces Orton at Summerslam. A major reason NOT to get Summerslam for me; I’m not looking forward to that at all. Cena vs Orton? Lame. Miz got a raw deal again.
Cryme Tyme defeated Chris Jericho & Big Show with Shaq as special Enforcer via Disqualifcation
Big Show was dominant in this match. He was working over JTG throughout the opening and middle point of this match up. Jericho was tagged in and he continued the work that Big Show had started, and things were not looking good for Cryme Tyme, despite Shaq trying to motivate them. Shaq pushed Jericho, and was getting involved slightly on the outside every now and again, whenever he could squeeze in a little bit while the referee wasn’t looking. Big Show got himself disqualified.
Post match, Big Show called out Shaq. Big Show pushed Shaq, and Shaq kept trash talking so Show grabbed him by the neck! Shaq grabbed Show! The Crowd was going nuts, a Shoulder block later and Show was out of the ring, and I was marking out like a school girl…geez…I guess WWE got me, they got me. I liked it, I’m sorry folks, Shaq made that ending worthwhile, and Cole screaming BOOMSHAKALAKA really made my night. HAHAHA! Shaq on Raw wasn’t half bad, I liked it.
Well….maybe I didn’t like it all, but that was a good spot at the end, I thought it was cool. Jeremy Piven will be the host next week.

Night of Champions! Here we go!
Chris Jericho & The Big Show defeated Legacy in a the Unified WWE Championship Match
I was hoping that Jericho would pick an all new partner, someone not already on raw and smackdown, but nope, he picked none other than The Big Show! The Big Show came down and Legacy looked crazed.
Jericho was on the receiving end of getting worked over by Legacy, after The Big Show tagged from a dominant stance against the youngsters. Jericho was definitely taking most of the offense from Legacy, but he would get some shots in, if only for a moment in time, only to have the young ones counter and counter. Jericho kept going for the walls and eventually got them in, Cody Rhodes held at bay for a moment by Big Show, but it wasn’t enough to make Dibiase Tap out. This match had the crowd fully behind Chris Jericho in this match, and it seemed like he was a face all along. Big Show got a good tag in, and went to work, hit a monstrous spear on Dibiase and I thought this one was done. It was not to be had though, Legacy got the big man down to his knees, but with the ref distracted out came Jericho for a great Codebreaker, and Big Show got his bearings and hooked Dibiase in one heck of a submission hold, for the win! Big Show and Jericho are now the “hot shot” tag team. I hate when they do this…but oh well, better than nothing eh? Jericho & Show retain.
CM Punk came out on the mic and talked about how Hardy is ok to cheer for, and he doesn’t blame anyone, but the parents. He said that only single parent situation families like Jeff Hardy! So Lame. Punk was once again fighting to get the heel turn, I can’t hate him, hopefully it’s a passing phase.
Christian defeated Tommy Dreamer in the ECW Title Match
This match had Tommy Dreamer trying really hard to work as fast as Christian can think. Christian was way ahead of Dreamer’s pursuit, and even Dreamers counters seemed half speed, with Christian deliberately slowing down for Dreamer to catch up with his flurry of young exuberance. Dreamer was taking some heavy shots too, it looked painful at times, proving yet again that Dreamer’s not going to last long with this type of competition. However, Christian hasn’t been getting the same kind of push he got when he first came back to WWE, so maybe Dreamer is getting a loyal push. The Sky High powerbomb from dreamer on Christian was really looking terrible. Christian definitely worked his butt off to get this match going well, Tom Dreamer slapped on a Texas Cloverleaf late in this match, which was great. That didn’t put away Christian, but it was nice to see a cloverleaf after so long. (Dean Malenko was famous for that submission maneuver) Christian hit the Killswitch and it was over…Christian gets the ECW title with ease, if you ask me. Dreamer needs to just retire.
Kofi Kingston defeated Jack Swagger, Carlito, The Miz, Primo, and MVP in the U.S. Title Match
The match was a six pack scramble, where any pinfall or submission would win the title. The match was filled with spots, just back to back spots, with lots of stuff going on, and too frantic for the cameras to follow. While the match did have some good moments, it felt too much like a cluster. Kofi blocked Carlito’s back elbow which was awesome, and Jack Swagger teamed with the Miz for a second or two to take on Primo, which was definitely a good watch. Primo looked great in there, and he is a lot more agile than Carlito, and it could be due to his size. Carlito took a sick dive off the top rope to the outside. He did a front flip, MVP didn’t catch him all the way, and just landed with a thud…ouch. Best spot was The Miz hitting MVP with his finisher while MVP hit his finisher at the same time on Swagger! Carlito hit a backstabber on Primo, only to get knocked out with Trouble in Paradise and Kofi Kingston retains! This match started like a cluster, but it ended up being quite entertaining, with Kofi winning after the melee’s were over.
Michelle McCool defeated Melina in the WWE’s Women title match
Michelle McCool can hit hard, I’ve seen her do it. Melina, I haven’t do much but look pretty and stretch here and there. Outside of Mick Foley, I don’t know who Melina’s fans are, I am not one of them. McCool hit a ddt on the guard rail, which was a nice move, considering how much balance had to be placed to hit that correctly. Melina had some good offense, hitting some moves focusing on McCool’s back, and continuing to scream like a tennis player. Melina botched a spinning heel kick, barely getting off the ground, but still kept this match going. McCool’s belly to belly whipped Melina’s spine around in one of the best executed moves I’ve seen in a long time. McCool used all of her weight to tie up Melina, and win this match relatively easily with simply her weight over Melinas legs.
Randy Orton defeated Triple H, and John Cena in the WWE Title Match
This match opened up with Cena and Triple H teaming up to beat up Orton at every moment and chance they could. However, on accidental shoulder tackle and this thing was every man for themselves. Orton took care of Cena, throwing him through the ropes into the ring post, and then focusing on grounding Triple H. He had this thing in a good place, working over Triple H’s capacity to stand, with a lot of rest holds to cut the ring in half. Orton got his though, getting thrown out of this match with Cena and Triple H left to go at it, giving each other some heavy artillery, with the crowd firmly behind each of them, after every blow! This wouldn’t last too long with Orton taking control after a lengthy pause on the outside. The match continued to the announcers tables, where Triple H was setting a pedigree, but Cena stopped it, tossing Orton into the crowd! Triple H then went for the Pedigree on Cena, only to get trapped into the STF! Cena got the better of the deal outside, inside he countered the RKO throwing Randy Orton off him and nearly landing his shoulder. Cena then set up Orton for a Super Plex, but Triple H stopped it, Cena eventually set up Triple H into the STF and Orton was stranded on the ropes, this thing looked like it was all over, even though Triple H was not willing to tap, Orton went for a punt, missing, and managed to get back into this thing once again taking control. Triple knocked out, Cena winded, and Orton stalking, this match started to look like an instant classic.
Triple H had the sharpshooter on Orton, Cena had the STF all at the same time and Orton was tapping. However, the referee wasn’t sure who won, then out came legacy! Rhodes took a major hit, and Randy Orton pounced, retaining his title in the process! That’s right, Orton wins again with a killer instinct and referee having problems.
Mickie James defeated Maryse in the wwe divas title match
The Divas title was on the line in this match, and Maryse was the one that was slowing down this match up. She’s got a few moves, but not really the wrestler that Mickie James is. I was thinking this of course right before Maryse nearly knocked out Mickie with a kick square to the face. Maryse introduced some spray into the match but Mickie James got a hold of it, and was ready to use it but the ref took it away from her. The battle ended up going to the floor and the two brawled it out. Mickie James hit a ddt and won the match, with very little crowd reaction…so that was that. This match was worse than the match earlier on.
Rey Mysterio defeated Dolph Ziggler in the Intercontinental Championship Match
Ziggler has improved night and day since I first saw him here in Seattle. He was fast, he was working Mysterio like a true technical heel. Shades of Rick Martel and Lex Luger were seen in this match up, with Ziggler not allowing Mysterio to string together a set of moves like he normally does. Ziggler slowed down the tempo, hit big moves, got out of the way when necessary, and was really pushing his weight around in this match up. Mysterio would eventually get his bearings, with quick motion kicks, and clever reversals, but it was still Ziggler that had so many moments in this match to prove that he wasn’t just a flash in the pan new comer. Ziggler’s perfect timed dropkick while Mysterio was coming off the top rope was very impressive, shades of Brian Pillman was felt in the timing of that amazing move. I kid you not, Ziggler’s game improved 100 percent in this match, he just got it, and Mysterio was perfect too, countering momentum to overcome his smaller stature against the larger opponent. This match easily was stealing the show! Ziggler hit a TOP ROPE Gut Buster from the top rope! Seriously, top rope GUT BUSTER on Mysterio! Not since Dean Malenko defeated Brad Armstrong with that move, have I seen such a great move with perfect execution! Ziggler was godlike in his move, but it was to no avail! Mysterio turned it around last minute, hit the 619 and won this match. ZIGGLER stole the show, ZIGGLER ZIGGLER ZIGGLER! This match made the night, Ziggler is the real deal here, I kid you not. He hit some impressive shots, I can’t believe this dude was in the spirit squad at one point, dang, Mysterio and Ziggler 3 star match, wow, I was floored with that last set. Great match, I don’t care what anyone says. The Top Rope Gutbuster…wow!
Jeff Hardy defeated C.M. Punk in the World Heavyweight Championship Match
Punk came out first, to get the heel reaction. Punk and Hardy flew through the beginning of the match, with Punk getting over mostly on his power moves, Hardy settling for a good part of the match before getting his bearings and running through some quick offense. Punk and Hardy each missed some key outside moves, high risk, and paid for them with 9 counts and close calls in ring. Hardy hit a nice top rope split leg face plant on Punk, but couldn’t pin the straightedge superstar. Punk and Hardy exchanged strikes, and were definitely trying to get a strangle hold on the other, with neither one looking more dominant than the other. Hardy of course was getting his fast hits in, forcing Punk to try and reverse some of them, not really doing as well as Jericho did on Friday, but he was managing to push Hardy off the ropes, off the apron, and get some breathing room whenever possible. Hardy countered the running Bulldog to hit the Whisper in the Wind, which was a sweet reversal, and Punk wasn’t looking like he could hold on to this one. Punk got a second wind but it was short lived, Hardy went for the Swanton Bomb but Punk put his knees up! I thought it was over, I thought this match was done, but nope, Hardy barely kicked out of a 2 count. Hardy missed with the Twist of Fate, then the GTS hit him square in the face! Hardy kicked out, and Punk was completely frustrated here, he had no recourse but to go outside and grab his belt and start walking away. Punk was literally walking away, not being able to beat Hardy he was giving up. Hardy gave chase, stopping Punk from leaving, and running him back to the Ring! The Twist of Fate Hit then Hardy hit the Swanton Bomb and won clean! Punk lost, and we have another shot with Hardy as champ! The crowd went nuts…JR called him the High Risk Junkie…lame.
Punk lost clean.
Great ppv, I think Ziggler stole the show, I loved that, that’s why I loved this ppv. I’m sorry, if you don’t agree, too bad, Ziggler showed up and stole the show with Mysterio. That gut buster…dang…dang!

Rey Mysterio defeated CM Punk via disqualification
WWE Friday Night Smackdown 7/24/09 Review
Jeff Hardy got on the mic and said some crap, I wasn’t paying attention, until Chris Jericho’s music hit and he came down. The two squared off in the opening bout.
Jeff Hardy defeated Chris Jericho
Chris Jericho started the match at full speed, but it was Jeff that kept turning things around, not letting Jericho have his way in this match at all and looking like a true champion. Jericho might have taken some hits, but he quickly turned this thing around, being the smarter technician in the ring. The two exchanged close calls, Hardy getting the most crowd involvement, but Jericho wasn’t letting him upstage him. Jericho had counters for a lot of great moments in this match, proving that Jericho should be the Champion that no one can top for a long time. He’s not having to cheat here, he simply has outsmarted Hardy at many moments. Hardy of course wasn’t giving up, so Jericho showed frustration, but given more time Jericho winning would not be too outlandish at all. Of course Jericho’s wit and quickness wasn’t to be the end all as Jericho pinned Jericho and gets the win. A good opening match, and good amount of wrestling for these two, great stuff here, if you missed it, check it out.
The Great Khali defeated Mike Knox
These two big men put on a match, it was passable as such, but nothing worth writing home about. Knox got some offense in with a distraction from Kane, who stood at the ramp watching, but it was Khali that put this one away with ease. Goodbye Mike Knox, and good riddance.
Dolph Ziggler now being walked out by none other than Maria, is not bad, not good either.
Dolph Ziggler defeated Finlay via countout
Wow, I hadn’t remembered Finlay was still active in WWE until he showed up for this match with Dolph Ziggler. If this match had more time I think it would have been a lot better. Ziggler was not dominating, Finlay had this thing well in hand, until it spilled onto the floor where Ziggler was cunning and managed to injure Finlay long enough to get a countout win, and a negative reaction from the crowd.
CM Punk was preaching a straightedge sermon. While I admire straightedge and enjoy the music that came out of the straightedge inception, but in wrestling? As a villain? I don’t know. Punk is sincerely trying to be a villain here, but I can’t hate him for being the way he is…but must force myself to cheer Hardy…No, Must resist…Punk…Punk…Punk.
Hardy came out and Punk left. That made the fans chant Hardy all the more. I didn’t.
Eve Torres defeated Natalya
Natalya was the obvious veteran, Eve was not timing things well and was taking a lot of punishment in ring. I said all that, but somehow, somewhere by some miracle Eve landed a moonsault! Natalya’s Surfboard was epic though, too little though, as Eve hit a moonsault that nearly broke her ankles, and Natalya loses….not sure why.
R Truth defeated Charlie Haas
R Truth came out to nice fan fare, which is much appreciated, I’m sure. He would have to contend with Charlie Haas. Let’s face it, even if Haas threw up the most impressive match ever, it wouldn’t matter because R Truth is going over these days. This match had a good flow, a little back and forth, but right when Haas seemed like he had things going, he lost with Truth going over after a nice Scissor kick, to rival Booker T in his prime. What’s up?!
Rey Mysterio defeated CM Punk via disqualification
These two put on a halfway decent match, with neither one getting the upper hand more so than the other. The equalizer from Punk was throwing Rey Mysterio into a ring post, and of course the WWE cut to commercial. This match had some real flow to it, but the commercial really took me out of the action. Punk hit a sweet tilt o world back breaker that was picture perfect, well placed onto Mysterio’s back. The champ really had Mysterio floored after that, and was working over Mysterio’s arm, a move that many people have focused on in the past. (I recall Dean Malenko’s top priority was Mysterio’s arm in his matches against Rey Mysterio for the Cruiserweight Belt in WCW) Dolph Ziggler showed up to watch the match at ringside, which I knew would play out later on in this match up. Mysterio hit a nice spring board press, but Ziggler decided to jump on the apron, and Punk capitalized with a nice heel kick, only for a two count, and this thing was ready to fall off the rails. Mysterio’s face got plastered with a knee to the face in the corner, and Punk was struggling to get this thing put away, but wasn’t able to get things done fast. Mysterio telegraphed a launch off the ropes and was in GTS position, only to counter and set up the 619! He then hit the splash and this match was over! But Ziggler ran in to break things up, and the match was thrown out…Mysterio wins!
Post match Ziggler gave Mysterio a major beating. Jeff hardy ran down to save Mysterio but that prompted CM Punk to chase down Hardy and hit a GTS to put a final exclamation point on the night!
This night of wrestling wasn’t half bad. I liked it. It had a few moments where I was starting to give up, like the Khali match. However, the opening and closing of the show was worth it. Jericho, Punk, Hardy and Mysterio are doing their thing and I don’t mind it that much. You might disagree though.

Tna Impact 7/23/09 Review
Taz comes to the ring first thing, and the crowd is giving him a warm welcome. I like to see Taz in TNA. Taz gives a shoot style interview about how he wants to be more than a commentator. So he jumped shipped because he had to be in a Raw promotion, cause it reminded him a lot of ECW and he couldn’t resist. Taz put over Samoa Joe, he said that Joe is the second coming of Taz. I don’t know, Taz is good, but Samoa Joe is the second coming? I don’t know, I just don’t buy it. Taz had some top notch guys to work with, dare I remind you of his feud with Bam Bam Bigelow?
Homicide defeated Samoa Joe w/ Taz via disqualification
This was an odd match up. The x-division title is on the line, and I like this. Samoa Joe vs Christopher Daniels was one of the greatest matches TNA ever put on, and even The Meltz said it was near perfect. Whatever the case is, Joe was going right for Homicide, and really looked like the Joe of old, going for Suicide Dives, running the ropes, and trying hard to make this match work. However, Homicide was the one that was starring here, he reversed all sorts of attempts by Joe and took control early on in this match. Samoa Joe was flustered but he managed to get some good Suplexes in and looked at Taz, who applauded some of his moves. Midway through the match the Referee took a bump, Joe then blocked the Gringo Cutter and locked in his chokehold, and the ref called for the bell!
The winner is, as a result of a disqualification, HOMICIDE!
Post match Taz ordered Samoa Joe to beat up Homicide. Out came Hernandez, Super Mex and saved Homicide from a further beat down. Taz and Samoa Joe walked away, and didn’t engage Super Mex.
Kurt Angle and the Main Event Mafia came in ring and talked trash. It wasn’t very good, and didn’t really require a whole lot of recap…same old story from Kurt Angle. Foley came out later and he ranted about how he disagrees with Angle. Lame. They set up a “keys” on a pole match…so dumb.
Kevin Nash defeated The Amazing Red in a Legends Title match
As soon as Amazing Red was introduced, I realized that there was no way Kevin Nash was going to lose, in fact TNA has found another way to mock WWE by emulating their style of burying new comers. Nash was dominant early on and just played up his big man gimmick, throwing Amazing around the ring like a rag doll. Red had NO offense in that worked, not even a little bit. Kevin Nash dropped him with a Jacknife Power Bomb and called it a match. It sucks to bury talent, at least from my perspective and TNA once again takes a dump on their up and comers by having NASH obliterate Red.
Scott Steiner & Booker T defeated Big Rocco and Sally Boy in a tag team title match
This match sucked. The big security guys for Foley ended up wrestling this match. The dudes basically got beat down, and nothing major happened. This was definitely one of the worst matches in TNA tag team history, seriously. While the big men did get a little action in towards the end of the match, it was to no avail, they lost and that was that. One of the worst matches I’ve seen in a long time.
Tracy Brooks won a Konckouts Battle Royal
Awesome Kong, Madison Rayne, Velvet Sky, Angelina Love, Tara, Sojourner Bolt, ODB, Daffney, Sarita, Alissa Flash, and maybe others.
This match was an over the top rope battle royal with all the knockouts involved. It was a melee of a match, and not half bad. The match was your standard battle royal fare, my favorite? Awesome Kong, as she was delivering the blows to all women and no one was trying to throw her out; The final three was Tara, Sarita and Awesome Kong. Sarita was in there throwing up some great offense, despite this match being high risk for her as a high flyer. It didn’t last long once it was down to three, as she was thrown over by Awesome Kong. Kong and Tara were the final two in this match up. Awesome Kong and Tara were eliminated in the end, and the two finalists kept fighting at ring side.
The winner of this match was…Tracy Brooks! As the winner she gets 15k and is now a member of the Main Event Mafia.
The British Invasion, Sheik Abdul Bashir, Kiyoshi defeated Beer Money, Christopher Daniels, Aj Styles, and Erik Young
The TNA originals started this match with duel tag team moves, provided mainly by Beer Money. They were easily taking care of Bashir and Kiyoshi right off the bat, and were making quick tags as well. The foreigners were definitely in need of some offense in the early goings, as the originals were working like they were a team for a long time before this match was even booked. Big Rob Terry got things going for the foreigners and he’s got to be on the juice. He’s massive, he is built like a 1980’s action figure, massive upper body, no leg muscles to speak of, he’s a throwback on the juice for sure. The British Invasion began to really work together, balancing out the other side of things, showing that they weren’t just going to lay down and lose for the sake of losing. This match broke loose with all members flooding the ring, only to have the originals take over with the Styles clash set up…but Erik Young swerved us, turned on the originals and helped the foreigners win the match up! Young sucks now, he sucked when he was a face, and was only cool when he was part of that super hero group with Shark Boy and others.
Mick Foley defeated Kurt Angle in a keys to the tna office on a pole match via dq
I hate anything on a pole matches. I liked it in 1992 when Sting had that Coal Miners Glove match, but outside of that one match, I don’t like these gimmicky main events. It seems that TNA can’t put on an impact without having a lame gimmick at the end, with some terrible matches and rushed spots.
Foley started this match fresh and limping, but he was hitting Angle with some heavy shots to the head. He had early control, and Angle was trying to fire back, but Foley hung in there for a nice brawling start to this otherwise stupid match. At some points in this match Angle and Foley went half speed as to not injure themselves in this match. Foley was close to getting the keys several times but was stopped by Angle. These close calls were so slow, it looked terrible; of course no main event would be complete without having a sweet commercial break in the midst of it. So we get a lot of random crap. Upon returning from break, Foley had this match all sewn up. He hit the double arm ddt and put on SOCKO! He hit the mandible claw and things were looking sad for Kurt Angle! The Main Event Mafia ran down to save the day, the bell rang, and the match was thrown out.
This match was thrown out, the Main Event Mafia beat up Foley, the keys never got taken off the pole.
This whole night of wrestling was hard to watch. There were a few bright spots, but overall this thing wasn’t that great all…then out came Bobby Lashley! Lashley looked intimidating! So we have Lashley in TNA!
Lashley beat up the Main Event Mafia, after swerving Kurt Angle, much to the dismay of one Angle who got a stiff shot to the mouth.
TNA was hard to watch, I admit it. But I did it, unlike many wrestling podcasts that suck now.

Ecw on ScyFy 7/21/09 Review
Yoshi Tatsu defeated William Regal
Regal was wrestling completely strong style, hitting only heavy impact moves. It was interesting to see what was going down here, as Tatsu was getting worked hard for a change. After getting beat up most of this match, Yoshi managed to pin William Regal out of the blue, and while Regal looked great, Yosh gets the win. I don’t get it, he’s ok, but the fans need to get behind him or boo him before he is fired.
Ezekiel Jackson defeated Jobber #928
Ezekiel Jackson won a squash match. This was dumb, I hated it. Jackson killed a jobber, oh well. Nothing see here.
Kozlov came out and confronted Jackson, the two are headed for a collision course. Kozlov beat up the jobber, for no apparent reason.
Shelton Benjamin defeated Goldust
Goldust finally gets a legit match up to really showcase that he’s still got it. However, Shelton Benjamin is the one getting the push here, obviously, but you would have forgotten that because Goldust was getting a good portion of the offense in. In fact, Goldust hasn’t been this good in a long time, he was following up everything with a certain focus and was actually trying harder than any other time I’ve seen in him in recent comebacks. Shelton Benjamin hit Paydirt and this match was over.
Tyler Rex Paul defeated Burchill
This match was boring, and even though both competitors were trying really hard, it just wasn’t merging that well. Tyler Rex was the obvious faster man, and I noticed that Paul was gaining some weight, so maybe he’s on his way out. Tyler Rex’s springboard dropkick was impressive, he seemed to float in the air, a great display. Tyler Rex squeaks one out of this match as he surprised Burchill with a quick pin.
The Abraham Washington Show was next. It sucked. Christian and Tommy Dreamer were the guests, and they just listented as the dead audience passed out. This sucked, Washington still has no charisma, although it was new….even for the wwe, can Washington wrestle though? We’ll have to wait and see.

WWE Monday Night Raw 7/20/09 Results and Review ZZ Top GM Edition
WWE Monday Night Raw 7/20/09 Results
Kofi Kingston, MVP, and Primo defeated Jack Swagger, Carlito, and The Big Show
Jerry Lawler defeated The Brian Kendrick
Mark Henry defeated Chris Jericho via disqualification
Hornswoggle defeated Chavo Guerrero in a sharp dressed man match
Triple H & John Cena defeated Orton & Legacy
WWE Monday Night Raw 7/20/09 Review
John Cena opened the show, and rambled. The most important thing I got form him was that the WWE championship match at Night of Champions was the same Main Event from Wrestlemania a few years back! What the hell? Shut up Cena! I am having trouble with this show already. Orton came out at some point…geez, a long night indeed.
Triple H claims he DIDN’T care if he won the title! Yeah Right! YEAH RIGHT! I almost fell out of my chair. Oh yeah, he came out to the party. The three started to random talk and it was boring.
Backstage Sanitno and ZZ Top had some great comedic stuff, with Santino getting a beard and a guitar. Sure it wasn’t perfect, but it had something funny. Nevermind, this was stupid, I’m tired.
Kofi Kingston, MVP, and Primo defeated Jack Swagger, Carlito, and The Big Show
Here we go, your standard six man tag. There were rushed spots, to slow down moments from The Big Show, giving the match a false sense of timing. This match had a lot of slow moments, but the smaller guys made this exciting, especially towards the end with the faces going over with some sweet reversals, including a nice Huricanrana/Head Scissors over the top rope from Kofi on big show. Primo pinned Carlito, after a nice head butt off the top rope.
Post match Big Show beat up everyone, and then stood there like a chump. These men will face each other in a US Title Six Pack challenge this weekend.
Back with ZZ Top, Chris Jericho was talking to the guys and wanted to jam. They set up Jericho in a match, it was hilarious….hilariously awkward.
Jerry Lawler defeated The Brian Kendrick
Lawler got into the ring and was prepared to wrestle The Brian Kendrick. Lawler was getting mauled early on, seriously just getting mauled. King got back into it, countered The Kendrick, then hit his second rope fist to the face and won! The Brian Kendrick was buried by Jerry Lawler, and that was the end of that.
Mark Henry defeated Chris Jericho via disqualification
Jericho was trying to fight Mark Henry, which to me, made Jericho look weak. He wasn’t getting as much offense to hit as hard as some of Henry’s other recent opponents, mainly Evan Bourne. However, Jericho is a technician not necessarily a high flyer. Henry wasn’t going down often, and Jericho was obviously getting frustrated that he couldn’t chop down the big man down. Jericho couldn’t turn Henry over into the Walls of Jericho, Henry immediately throwing him out with superior leg strength.
Jericho then, out of desperation, hit Henry with a chair, and got dq’d and he kept fighting Henry. Henry got the last laugh with a sick World’s Strongest Slam, and you know what? The crowd started to cheer, but I heard that a few weeks back his cheers are being piped in and edited. I don’t know….I’m too tired for this.
Hornswoggle defeated Chavo Guerrero in a sharp dressed man match
Sure it’s comedic, sure some of the fans like it. However, I’m sick of seeing Chavo Guerrero get buried in the WWE. What did he ever do to deserve this? I don’t know, this is stupid. I won’t even dignify it with more than that.
Worst match in the history of Raw…so stupid!
Santino ran off ZZ Top by stripping to “She Got Legs” so stupid. Raw is like a punch in the face.
What the hell? Next week SHAQ is in charge! What the heck? What the! WHYYYYY? I’m so tired of this BS, someone hire me to write for WWE, I’d stand up, I’d get fired for the sake of it…I don’t know, I’m tired.
Rosa Mendes & Alicia Fox defeated Kellly Kelly and Gail Kim
This match had all your standards, the divas botching it, trying too hard. I wonder if someone in the divas camp is going to get fired soon. There were a few bright moments, Kelly seems to be a little bit better than usual, but I’m not sure if that necessiarly means a whole lot. Overall, I didn’t really like it, and it was a good thing it wasn’t too long of a match, it ended abruptly as all “divas” matches do on wwe television.
Triple H & John Cena defeated Orton & Legacy
This match was weird, it seemed like it was painfully obvious that the bad guys (Legacy) weren’t going to win. I remember when stables were good, like the Four Horsemen, and you had to really fight to beat those guys. This match started off with Cena and Orton cleaning house with ease, it was another cookie cutter match beginning. The match, of course, turned around and for once Legacy looked like a well oiled machine. Why they can’t do that from the on set is beyond me. The Brain Busters used to be able to do that, I’m just saying. Triple H was getting worked for a good portion of the match, but was able to get a hot tag to John Cena and this thing fell off the rails and Cena rolled up Orton out of the blue. It seemed like a forced, surprise ending because time was running out, and it was ludicrous. I hated this raw.
Raw sucked, but you know what? I understand. What can ya do? Next week SHAQ as GM!

John Morrison defeated CM Punk in a non title match
Kane defeated R Truth
The Hart Dynasty defeated Cryme Tyme & Eve Torres
Chris Jericho & Dolph Ziggler defeated Rey Mysterio & Jeff Hardy via disqualification
WWE Friday Night Smackdown 7/17/09 Review
Jeff Hardy came down and started to ramble about nothing. He showcased CM Punk’s words from last week about how he hasn’t been in danger of losing his job with wwe. The two are terrible on the mic, terrible. I don’t know why are they trying to push these dudes to talk? They should just brawl. Jeff hit Punk, then he sat down like a chump, and that was that.
John Morrison defeated CM Punk in a non title match
I’m not sure why it is that Punk, being the champion, is working so hard to wrestle. Triple H once said that the champ shouldn’t be wrestling for free on television. Wait, it was Ric Flair that said that, nevermind. We saw this match before, and we saw John Morrison win, so why did they bring us this again for free? It makes no sense. I hope this doesn’t mean that we’ll have to watch these two wrestle as many times as Triple H and Orton have, because I’m going to throw a fit. This was mostly the same match saw a couple weeks ago, Morrison seemed to be getting a second win after being dominated by Punk’s offense. Morrison just kept hitting hard, and the timing was great, Punk wasn’t looking like the champ in this match towards the middle. As soon as I said that Punk reversed a Huricanrana, and the two exchanged near falls. Punk’s tilt-o-world back breaker was impressive, if you missed that, wow, it looked painful. Morrison once again gets the win with a random reversal into pinning combination, and PUNK looks dumb. I don’t know why the WWE is burying the champion, but that’s what’s going on with these stupid matches. I don’t see Triple H getting buried like this or Orton either, so dumb.
Layla was dancing out at ring side, it was lame. Ricky Ortiz came out and tried to Rally the crowd, but was failing miserably.
Kane defeated R Truth
Kane was dominant early on and was hitting some major blows but Truth was hitting Kane with some big dropkicks and leg drops, forcing Kane to be outside as we cut to commercial. Kane turned things around, but Truth would not go down. He kept fighting, even though he wasn’t winning the match easily, he just wouldn’t give up fighting back against the Big Red Machine. It would be short lived as Kane won after huge boot to the face.
The worst big man match out of Kane, I’ve seen in a long time. Kane sucks.
Post match out came The great Khali! Last time we saw Khali face Kane, Kane backed down and was scared! He once again ran like a chump. I told you Kane sucks.
The Hart Dynasty defeated Cryme Tyme & Eve Torres
The women started out this match, and quickly tagged in the men. Tyson Kidd started with Chad and was out weighed by the big man. JTG got tagged in and it seemed like no one cared about this match as the crowd was all but dead. The Harts took over this match with DH Smith getting into the mix. The match broke down and it got really boring. Natalya ended up winning the match, and that was that. Nothing to see here, really boring and mismatched overall; it was not a fun watch, I got bored fast.
Edge gave a weird interview, he was all sad. He doesn’t know if he’ll be back full strength. Chris Jericho came out and got on the mic, it was great. He really is amazing, this guy is the best WWE superstar active right now.
Chris Jericho & Dolph Ziggler defeated Rey Mysterio & Jeff Hardy via disqualification
CM Punk’s music hit and he walked down ringside to get onto Commentary during this match up.
The match started off with Hardy in trouble, and of course, we get straight to another commercial. Dolph Ziggler has improved a lot since the first time I saw him, he was in there holding his own against Jeff Hardy and making good work of this match up. Mysterio got tagged in and he was putting on a clinic against Jericho, and was close to pinning the former champion. Ziggler made a blind tag and was dropped on the back of his head from the apron. Ziggler, now the legal man pushed Mysterio to the limits, then went inside and tried to sew this one up. Ziggler is 100% heel, and I actually started to like him, he has the finesse of Rick Martel and the style of say….Mr Perfect? In some ways yes, in some ways no; however, he does have a Rick Martel looking style. Hardy got a hot tag, Jericho got back in this, and Hardy was steam rolling through the competition with everything he had and all sorts of fast paced high spots. He hit the Whisper in the Wind but Jericho was able to kick out! This match was being sewn up nicely by Hardy, even reversing the Walls of Jericho; Hardy going up for the Swanton and connecting, looked amazing. He didn’t count on Dolph Ziggler to break things up, and therefore he couldn’t win this one. Punk shoved Hardy, the bell started ringing. Punk looked like a big heel here. I’m not sure who won, what happened, but Jericho hit a nice code breaker on Hardy. Then Jericho hit Hardy with the Walls of Jericho and continued to punish him for Punk? This whole ending was so convoluted.
WWE took a page out of TNA’s play book by completely taking a crap on a match that was otherwise perfectly watchable and going for a proper finish and ended with no questions answered and some stupid situations. I don’t know what WWE wants me to think, or wants me to see in this piece of crap finish.
What a way to ruin Smackdown, man, I keep losing on these shows.

Kurt Angle vs Sting in a six sides of steel match ended in a no contest
Tna Impact 7/16/09 Review
As usual Foley comes out to talk. I don’t want to hear Foley any longer, but here he is, random speech about getting the TNA belt back. He called out Kurt Angle, and the champion obliged by coming to the ring. Foley was rambling about last week’s Barbed Wire beat down. He then was complimenting Angle for being a great wrestler and that on Sunday he hopes no Main Event Mafia will show up to interfere in their match up. Sting came out and started to call out Kurt Angle. He started to rant about how Kurt and Mick are liars and that this weekend we’re going to see who has the power to run TNA. Sting will wrestle Kurt Angle tonight in a six sides of steel match!
Backstage Samoa Joe was beating the crap out of The Amazing Red, I hated that, but oh well.
The Amazing Red defeated Samoa Joe via Disqualification
Samoa Joe beat up Amazing Red, then threw Rudy Charles across the ring, Rudy Charles called for the bell, I assume he lost the match. This was dumb.
There was some random interview segment with all the knockouts talking about random trash with Don West. It was a stupid segment, made to waste time.
Suicide defeated Chris Sabin
The Motor City Machine Guns have the worst music in TNA wrestling history. I hate their music with a passion. It’s time for a change. Sabin finally got a shot at Suicide, but it was non title, so it didn’t even matter to me who won. Suicide sucks, I’ve never liked his character and I don’t know why he has a title, as it didn’t even help the TNA video game sales. This match was fast paced and back and forth. No one had the real upper hand, but Sabin was definitely standing out. However, for all Sabin’s effort, Suicide kept hitting sling shot maneuvers and reversals to try and slow down the tempo. These two were no selling everything for the sake of time constraints. Sabin has such great timing in there and it showed, until Suicide caught him with a sick rolling slam and then hit Alex Shelley on the outside. Sabin hit a sweet spike ddt but couldn’t pick up the win. The Suicide Solution was hit and this match was over. I still don’t like Suicide, and this match was just too fast, there wasn’t enough time to develop at all.
Post match the Motor City Machine Guns fought Suicide and mopped him up. They set up a sweet leg drop onto a chair, and Suicide was out cold. Homicide came down to ringside and saved Suicide, chasing away the Motor City Machine Guns.
Homicide then decided to cash in his briefcase for a shot at the X-Division title shot.
Homicide defeated Suicide for the x-division championship
Homicide immediately pinned Suicide and thought he could just win it. He didn’t, and Suicide fought back, but was obviously winded from his last attempt. Homicide hit the Gringo Killer and won the X-Division championship! Not much of a match, but I liked it, go Homicide!
Angelina Love was in a complete haz-mat suit as the Beautiful People came out to do some talking. Angelina Love was saying that she wasn’t ready last week. She also said that this weekend Tara and her would go for the gold! Then Tara came out and hit the Widows Peak on Angelina Love, playing more mind games for this Sundays match. It was an ok segment and I loved how the women weren’t “divas” or anything like that, they were wrestlers building an angle, a rarity in professional wrestling right now.
Sarita defeated Alissa Flash
What’s this? Two new wrestlers? Yeah, TNA is introducing two new knockouts, and yes they can wrestle! Flash had a strong style, building on heavy moves and punches while Sarita had a pure Lucha Libre style. Sarita was in there showing off for sure, within ten seconds there was a Suicide Dive! Talk about real women’s wrestling! YES! Flash capitalized on a mistake and started to dismantle Sarita like a technical wrestler. Meanwhile Sarita was sticking to just a pure lucha style, trying to get from high spot to high spot, but that proved dangerous as Flash kept catching Sarita with mistakes. Flash did a nice surboard set up to curb stomp, and it looked like Sarita’s debut was going to get spoiled. Flash’s overhead back suplex into the corner was brilliant, shades of Bret Hart! Sarita won with a victory roll after some good back and forth, and this match was really good, best match of the night, no doubt.
Booker T & Kevin Nash & Scott Steiner defeated Beer Money & Aj Styles
Beer Money has to be one of the longer running tag teams in professional wrestling right now. I hope they never split them up, they work too well together; unlike wwe’s way of splitting things up and then burying the legacy. So here were, a six man tag and it wasn’t half bad. Aj started things off with Scott Steiner and the two were putting on a decent show. The match turned into a melee with everyone fighting in ring, then outside. The two left standing were Nash and Aj Styles, but it was Nash that ended this thing early with a huge Jacknife Power Bomb. He ended Aj’s hopes of winning this match, as the rules seemed to spin and it was an elimination match all of a sudden. I hate when TNA does this, on the fly too, but I guess it makes the match a little longer. Steiner eliminated James Storm, and this match was now a three on one match with Robert Roode stuck in the match against three members of the main event mafia. Booker T hit a book end after the commercial, and it seemed like this match was going south for Robert Roode. Roode managed to eliminate Kevin Nash but after that Booker T and Scott Steiner kept hitting each other on accident and Roode capitalized. He had this match sewn up nicely even hitting a nice spinebuster on Booker T, but it wasn’t to be as the numbers game just kept growing. Roode hit an amazing bridge suplex on Booker T but Sharmell was on the ring apron distracting the ref, and it was downhill with the Main event Mafia pulling off another win.
Kurt Angle vs Sting in a six sides of steel match ended in a no contest
This match couldn't half more than 10 minutes to unfold so it was somewhat tame. Sting tried to out wrestle Kurt, but it wasn't going to happen as Kurt is a real amateur wrestler and it showed in the onset of this match, gaining an easy upper hand against Sting. Sting got back with a stiff elbow, and this match started to come undone with Sting reversing Angle's momentum at every turn.
Then we got hit with commercials?
The match now had roughly 5 minutes to finish before the next program, meaning TNA must've edited the crap out of this match to fit into the time slot.
Sting got a second wind after the break and was totally dominating Kurt Angle. He set up his moves and was throwing Angle at the walls of the cage, but nothing was working. Angle hit a release German Suplex and the tables turned for Angle. Angle went for the Angle Slam but it was reversed right into the Scorpion Death Lock.
Meanwhile at the announce table Samoa Joe knocked out Jeff Jarrett then walked into the cage and locked it again. Samoa Joe then got hit with a Scorpion Death Lock! The lights went out and Samoa Joe was in a choke hold!
At this point Foley and Jarrett were trying to get into the cage, but the Mafia was controlling things outside. This match was ridiculous, Sting was getting chocked out, the match was thrown out I guess? I don't know, what a convoluted mess.

ECW on Scyfy 7/14/09 Results
Shelton Benjamin defeated Christian
Yoshi Tatsu defeated Paul Burchill
Goldust defeated Zack Ryder
Kozlov defeated Tommy Dreamer
Sheamus defeated Roman Cornell
ECW on ScyFy Review
The night immediately opened with a match, as it should. I hate the SCYFY name change, it just seems dumb to me. I wish Christian had a better push considering he left a top dog position at TNA to come back to wwe, only to job and get occasional wins over bigger guys. But it’s not worse than his oppnent…
Shelton Benjamin defeated Christian
Shelton went from having the U.S. Championship to being a jobber to being a jobber on ecw, just continual slide. Vladimir Kozlov came down to ringside and Christian got distracted. Shelton was definitely in control of this match, especially when considering that as we went to break, things were getting bad for Christian as Kozlov simply walked down to ringside and distracted him. Christian managed to get his bearings towards the end of the match with a nicely executed Missile Dropkick, but was favoring his shoulder and couldn’t simply put away Benjamin. Christian went to the top rope, but Shelton jumped up to meet him and hit a Top Rope DDT! A picture perfect move, and it seemed to be going wrong for Christian, and surely it was because a few moments later Benjamin hit Pay Dirt and won the match! I was surprised by this one.
Yoshi Tatsu defeated Paul Burchill
This match was all Yoshi, and it looked to be an ok match up. Yoshi was looking like a house on fire, but one slip up in the corner and things looked bad. Yoshi was going for a springboard but missed the top rope, slipped, and ran into Paul’s side suplex. Yoshi kicked Paul in the head and pinned him, he wins again. Yoshi isn’t half bad, it’s nice to see a new face on ECW.
Goldust defeated Zack Ryder
Zack Ryder sucks. Goldust? Well he hasn’t made it back completely. This match seemed like a b-show level match up. Goldust was fast, I haven’t seen him this fast in a while. He was in full control and showing off that he still had a lot of wrestling ability with picture perfect rope running, and picture perfect Japanese arm drags, you would think this was the heyday of mid 90’s wrestling. Ryder put on an ok show, but he seems to have lost a little weight, so maybe he’s on the juice. Goldust was slowed down mid match, with some rest holds, building up to something, sooner than later. In the end he would never recover Zack Ryder turned the momentum into a win, and Goldust is put into his place, losing again in the WWE.
Sheamus defeated Roman Cornell (jobber)
Sheamus is back in ECW, because WWE is desperately trying to make new characters stick. That being said, Sheamus just won with four moves and that was about it. Sheamus totally squashed the jobber, which is something that I’ve hated since I was kid…well maybe not too much when I was a kid cause I didn’t know better.
Kozlov defeated Tommy Dreamer
Tommy Dreamer got worked for the most part, Kozlov had a lot of offense that Dreamer couldn’t answer to. The Iron Curtain came down and Kozlov won. The match was slow moving, and I still think that Tommy Dreamer should retire. Kozlov slowly took apart Dreamer, and won with somewhat of an easy time.
Post match Christian ran down to fight Kozlov only to get beat up.
Overall ECW was fast and boring. I didn’t really like anything too much and I don’t think that it is moving into past jobber territory. I wouldn’t be surprised if ECW was no more within a year.

WWE Monday Night Raw 7/13/09 Review
The night opened up with Triple H coming down to the ring. He started talking left and right about random crap and introduced Seth Green. So the special guest host is none other than Seth Green? What the heck? Yeah, this is a piece of crap, Green is cool, I guess, what do I know? I’m a wrestling fan, not a…Seth Green fan…ok…so I like his cannon of work, but overall, Come on!
This was nothing more than Triple H and the WWE pandering to Robot Chicken. They kept plugging the premiere! It’s a load of crap. Ugh…so this is just a reason to promote someone elses show? Lame.
The two guys were trash talking Randy Orton, which prompted Orton to come out. Orton then just yelled at Seth Green a lot, and it was lame. Green than announced the main event. It would be Randy Orton and Legacy against John Cena and Triple H, alongside Seth Green! This is hilarious…hilariously bad.
Maryse, Alicia Fox, Rosa Mendes defeated Mickie James, Gail Kim, Kelly Kelly
This match was the women wrestlers, wrestling in Bikini’s! This was not too unlike ultimate surrender, only after this match no one would be having sex with each other. At least not on camera. This match was barely watchable, while I’m a heterosexual male, I just didn’t get into this match up. I just didn’t, I don’t know what it is. Maybe it’s because I’ve watched ultimate surrender and wish these chicks would go that far, or maybe it’s because this is somewhat odd. I mean, how am I suppose to take these girls seriously, if they are literally wrestling bare foot, and in bikinis? Then again, Mickie James didn’t need much to show off her athleticism, but man, when she came off the top rope it looked like she could’ve injured herself. Maryse and Mickie were the last two in the match and Maryse hit her spike DDT and it was all said and done!
The Miz defeated Primo Colon
This match was ok at best, The Miz is still getting better. Primo did a good enough job staying in there, but this match smelled of tag team splits. In fact, it was evident, when Carlito ran down and distracted Primo, so Miz got the clean victory…clean tainted victory eh? This match wasn’t all that great, but it furthered the Colons split, which I called on this website a few months back.
Post match Carlito beat up Primo. Carlito is turning heel again…I guess that’s the goal of ALL tag teams…in this modern era.
Jack Swagger defeated MVP
I’m not sure why the WWE is giving this match away, this could be a ppv match in a way, and it’s weird. The match started with MVP surprised Swagger, and Swagger getting frustrated. Jack Swagger turned this thing around and was throwing his weight around. He was cleverly setting up MVP with standard wrestling moves, and power moves, making MVP look like a jobber in the ring, not an up and coming main eventer. Swagger had complete control, and looked impressive in ring. MVP got a small moment but Swagger was well aware what was going on and hit his finisher, and it was over. The Gut Wrench Power Bomb gives Swagger another win, this one fairly clean.
Mark Henry defeated Chris Jericho
Chris Jericho came out to address Edge’s injury. He said hed announce a new opponent sooner than later. Mark Henry came down and beat him up. He said that he was out to ringside because he is Jericho’s opponent! He then mauled Jericho and ripped his shirt off, Jericho obviously not prepared to wrestle at all, still in dress shoes. Mark Henry defeated a less than optimal Chris Jericho, and Jericho ran off.
Hornswoggle defeated Chavo guerrero
Chavo had one arm tied behind his back. This reminded me of the time when Vince McMahon wrestled Steve Austin. Austin had one armed tied behind his back, it was a great Raw. This one? Not so much, this was just a comedic bout with Chavo looking dumb. Chavo lossed, as he did on Superstars, and Hornswoggle was outside the ring laughing. This was such a dumb match.
The Big Show defeated Evan Bourne
I hate the big man small man matches. It usually forces the smaller guy to make some bigger risks and get injured. Bourne had to hit Big Show high up and Show was knocking out Bourne! Show basically trounced Bourne, and this was messed up. Basically, Bourne just got thrown down a few notches, and is like all other cruiserweights, disposable.
Post match Kofi Kingston ran in and hit Big Show with some kicks. Show and Kofi are going to wrestle on Thursday…which no one will see.
The guest hosts for next week will be ZZ TOP!
WHAT THE HELL? ZZ TOP? WWE YOU GUYS ARE REALLY THROWING AWAY A LOT ON THESE GUEST HOST SPOTS! SO STUPID! I wanted to punch my television…why? WHY?
John Cena, Triple H, and Seth Green vs Randy Orton, Ted Dibiase Jr, and Cody Rhodes ended in either a dq or no contest, they never really said
This match was actually not half bad. I thought it was going to be far worse. The competitors were working a little safe, but Seth Green really held his own, and was actually fast in ring. He didn’t overpower anyone, he was just there moving fast, and taking a very light bumps. As for the rest, Cena and Triple H were each taking their hits from Legacy. Orton wouldn’t tag in for a while, and appeared to be getting upset with the way the match was going. Orton had this match won, but Seth Green broke up the pin!
Seth Green was left in Ring with Randy Orton! Orton then kicked green in the stomach, making him the ultimate heel, he then set up for a huge punt, run and was blindsided by Cena, who stopped the punt. Legacy got back in ring and started to beat up Cena, Triple H was outside of the ring, and when Legacy introduced a chair, Triple H went to work with a sledgehammer!
The bell rang and the match was over.
Overall raw wasn’t terrible, but it was a far cry from much better Raw’s in the past. The whole Orlando crowd was cheering Seth’s name, and this was interesting. I liked it, but I wanted to hate it. There were definite lame moments, but oh well, another Raw is over.
What can I say? If you liked it, let me know, if you didn’t let me know, if you have cash buy something from amazon via our links.

Tna Impact 7/9/09 Results and Review More Mafia Crap With Foley
Tna Impact 7/9/09 Results
Homicide defeated Doug Williams in a ladder match
Beer Money defeated The Motor City Machine Guns
Tara defeated Angelina Love in a Knockout Championship Match
Tara defeated Velvet Sky
Christopher Daniels & Aj Styles defeated Matt Morgan & Kevin Nash
Kurt Angle defeated Mick Foley and Jeff Jarrett w/ special guest referee Eric Young
Tna Impact 7/9/09 Review
The first thing to happen was Foley came out to talk. Foley does so much talking for no apparent reason. Mike Tenay also NEVER SHUTS UP! He talks way too much, for no apparent reason. Double J came out and the two argued about winning the titles, and what not. They set up a three way dance for the next ppv, but I wasn’t paying attention, sorry. I was tired.
Homicide defeated Doug Williams in a ladder match
Homicide returns here and he started the match fast. He was hitting all sorts of great moves. Monkey flip, shoulder block, and then threw a ladder into the ring right away. Williams was taking a lot of punishment, but evened the score with a shoulder block off the middle rope onto Homicide, who was climbing the ladder. The ladder turned into a weapon in this match up, as Homicide got really close and personal with it. Team 3-D helped contain Doug Williams, Homicide climbed the ladder and got his case back.
This match was ruined because of the ending. It was a cluster as usual. Lame. I used to like ladder matches too, but this one was terrible.
Suicide was interviewed…kind of. It was stupid. Suicide just sat there like an idiot. Then he had some voice modification and sounded like The Undertaker. I tell you now, this interview segment SUCKED TNA should stick to wrestling. Suicide sucks, Mike Tenay sucks, and you know what? Screw this crap! I went to the bathroom.
Sting and Samoa Joe argued back and forth. Sting was pissed, he said he was going to beat up Sting, but not tonight.
Beer Money defeated The Motor City Machine Guns
Booker T was talking jive on the headsets and it was ridiculous. It really made me kind of upset cause I had no idea what he was saying. He was really just rambling, and if you watched this show, you know what I mean. The match started out with Storm and Sabin fighting, it eventually ended up on the floor, and things were turning into the Guns favor with sweet offense. The match came through with some good moments, but before it really got over, Beer Money won with some great teamwork. Not a terrible match, not a good match, but Beer Money as always did a great job.
Tara defeated Velvet Sky
Tara put on a clinic of how women wrestlers should be. She really knows what she is doing, and while I don’t like the tarantula angle, I still think she’s one of the better women wrestlers in pro-wrestling right now. She hit the Widows Peak and it was over, a good overall womens match up, and I liked how this wasn’t a “divas” match. This was cool.
Tara defeated Angelina Love in a Knockout Championship Match
After the previous match up, Tara convinced Angelina Love to wrestle her for the title. Angelina Love agreed and they fought in this match up. Tara got a couple of near falls before Angelina Love ran to the outside and tried to get counted out. She eventually headed back into the ring, but Madison Rayne got in the mix. Angelina Love managed to kick out of most of Tara’s offense, and went for the Widow’s Peak twice and finally got the pin! Tara is your NEW TNA Knockout’s Champion!
Abyss was going to kill Stevie Richards backstage. Whatever. This character is stale.
Christopher Daniels & Aj Styles defeated Matt Morgan & Kevin Nash
Matt Morgan started this match up against Christopher Daniels, and was definitely looking like the lesser of the two wrestlers. Daniels was unloading a dump truck of offense, alongside Aj Styles the two were fighting through the big guy, but weren’t able to capitalize completely. The two smaller guys really worked over the bigger men, and ended up taking them out with a sweet victory. Aj and Daniels make a great team of high flying energy.
Post match Morgan and Nash beat up Daniels and Styles. Morgan put Daniels knee & ankle in a chair, and tried to injure it. Aj ran in but couldn’t save Daniels.
Kurt Angle defeated Mick Foley and Jeff Jarrett w/ special guest referee Eric Young
Kurt Angle looked specifically leaner than usual. He has lost significant weight and is starting to looked seriously ripped. Foley and Jarrett began this match working together, and being friends against Angle. Angle was taking serious hits from the two faces, including a nice delayed Suplex. The Stroke was nailed into the steal steps, and Double J looked poised to win this thing. But we went to commercial…as is the custom with these longer matches in wrestling. Jarrett and Angle were the final two for a good portion of the match, but by the time Jarrett got this thing in the bag, Eric Young gave the slowest count of all time! Double J was still getting his hits in and brought in his guitar to use! Young warned him that he would disqualify him, and ran right into Foley’s mandible claw, but an Angle Slam broke that up! Double J went for the Figure Four! Foley then broke it up via an elbow. Angle then gave the Ankle Lock onto Foley, and Eric Young gave the match to Kurt Angle, even though Foley DID NOT TAP OUT!
Eric Young, the idiot, gave the match to Angle for no apparent reason. He then got beat down by Double J and Foley, and deserved it.
Overall TNA wasn’t great, but it was ok. I didn’t hate it all, but I did hate certain aspects of it.

My parents in-law are coming to town. So that means no wrestling tomorrow night. I won’t have a review for you guys for Smackdown yet again. However, I’ll be back for a FULL week of wrestling next week.

Homicide defeated Doug Williams in a ladder match

ECW on Scifi 7/09/09 Results
Nikki Bella defeated Kaie Lea Burchill
Ezekiel Jackson defeated Jobber #3939
Christian defeated Vladimir Kozlov
ECW on Scifi 7/09/09 Review
ECW was moved to Thursday, throwing a wrench into my schedule.
Nikki Bella defeated Katie Lea Burchill
The crowd was dead for this opener. If the highlight of a match is a hip toss, you know you’re in trouble. Brie jumped in an exchange and Brie gets the pin on Katie Lea. This match sucked.
Shelton Benjamin defeated Yoshi Tatsu
This was a match, unlike last week’s burial of Benjamin. Yoshi had his hands full with Shelton, as Benjamin was really putting on a clinic on Yoshi. Yoshi took a beating for a good portion of the match, and definitely wasn’t as wily as the veteran. Yoshi was hitting some major spots in this match, and was rather impressive for a new comer. Benjamin got back into the match with a nice release suplex. This time around it was Benjamin that hit Paydirt and boom. Yoshi impressed me, he should impress you…hopefully he doesn’t get fired.
Ezekiel Jackson defeated Jobber #3939
Jackson beat up some idiot. This match was lame. Ezekiel is on the juice. This match sucked. He wins…I hate jobber matches.
The Hurricane is back! Yep.
The Abraham Washington show was up next with Tommy Dreamer as the guest. Tommy Dreamer and Washington sparred verbally, but kind of boring.
Christian defeated Vladimir Kozlov
Kozlov put on a good match up, although calling it good is an overstatement indeed. Kozlov was slow in moving and did have some major shots, but overall lost when Christian hit the Killswitch. Kozlov is still way too slow for prime time, I’ll tell you that much. This match was a little boring, but it went through well enough to keep me entertained.

WWE Monday Night Raw 7/6/09 Results and Review The Million Dollar Night
WWE Monday Night Raw 7/6/09 Results
Edge & Chris Jericho defeated The Colons
Mickie James & Gail Kim defeated Alicia Fox & Maryse
Mark Henry defeated Cody Rhodes via countout
Randy Orton defeated Ted Dibiase Jr.
Evan Bourne defeated Kofi Kingston
Triple H vs John Cena ended in a double disqualification
WWE Monday Night Raw 7/6/09 Review
Out came The Million Dollar Man with the Million Dollar Belt. He brought out Legacy! He played the good guy, bad guy role quite well. It was really cool. The Million Dollar Man really shook up Legacy in the wrong way, which was really cool.
Edge’s music hit and out came the Tag Team Champions!
Edge & Chris Jericho defeated The Colons
The Colons got another shot at their former belts, in this fast paced tag team match up. Jericho did a lot of the heavy lifting, as Edge is said to be nursing an injury, and that was fine by me. Jericho is on top of his game right now, and really showed with great stops along in the match to gloat. The match looked even handed until Jericho hit a Code Breaker and Edge the spear, to pick up the win. The Colon’s once again lose and the tag champs again are doing what they do best, win.
Like all tag teams that are ripped apart, Carlito attacked Primo. This will most likely set up a brother vs brother match.
Mickie James & Gail Kim defeated Alicia Fox & Maryse
Mickie James did most of the work in this site, progressively hitting each and every move with ease. Gail Kim did manage a couple of good shots, and had some nice moments. So good was Gail Kim that she hit one heck of a move, a one legged stunner of sorts, and pinned Maryse! That’s right, Gail Kim pinned Maryse! This was definitely a shocker to me since Gail Kim hasn’t been getting a lot of victories in the WWE since her arrival.
Mark Henry defeated Cody Rhodes via countout
Mark Henry has been getting a better push than anyone else in the WWE right now. At least from where I’m sitting, he’s been getting a way better deal than any other superstar. Last week he took out Orton and pinned him, and this week he was tormenting Cody Rhodes with some serious hits. At one point Cody Rhodes appeared to be leaving the match, and exiting via the ramp, that of course to a chorus of boo’s. He eventually got counted out, and that was that.
Randy Orton defeated Ted Dibiase Jr.
Orton basically out finessed Ted Dibiase Jr in the early moments of this match up. Dibiase did try for some cheap, fast ins, but his pins were to no avail, Randy Orton managed to keep his composure. The match kept getting better with Orton looking like he wasn’t prepared for this match to go this long. Orton blocked The Dream Street to hit the RKO and it was all said and done. Overall a good match up with some sore spots, but definitely a good power move on behalf of Orton, who must now respect Ted Dibiase Jr a little more now.
In MVP’s VIP Lounge, his guest was Jack Swagger. Jack Swagger started talking trash. It looked like a brawl would have ensued, but instead, Swagger left like a true coward.
Backstage Ted Dibiase Jr slapped his father, The Million Dollar Man! Sad.
Evan Bourne defeated Kofi Kingston
This match should’ve been an instant, high flying classic, but instead we were seeing a chain wrestling match up. These two didn’t lift off for a good portion of the match, with each one simply going for a basic slow build. Kofi introduced the high flying moments with a nice cross body block and nice dropkick. With a bump in the corner, Evan Bourne managed to get the Shooting Star press out of nowhere! He got the win, right when we thought things were going to get too boring, Kofi got a knee to the gut and it was over.
The Big show came out, lame.
Triple H vs John Cena ended in a double disqualification
I don’t know anyone that could believe this match was happening. I had my money on Triple H, simply because you can’t hold down the roster as the Intercontinental Champion, so he’s after the big prize. Triple H has the upper hand heading towards the middle of this match up. Cena played the face in this match, trying to power out of Triple H’s five move set, in which Triple H would counter with a rest hold to make the match seem intrinsically longer than it really was. The two were looking really tired, but managed to get back on their feet before Legacy pounced during the match causing a double disqualification.
The Million Dollar Man came out and announced a Triple threat match for the title at Night of Champions.
I knew this would happen. This sucked. Raw was ok, but this ending sucked.

Tna Impact 7/2/09 Results and Review More Poop From TNA
TNA Impact 7/2/09 Results
Amazing Red defeated Cody Deaner
Eric Young defeated Rhino
Awesome Kong & Tara defeated Velvet Sky & Angelina Love
Booker T & Scott Steiner defeated Team 3-D
Kurt Angle & Samoa Joe defeated Jeff Jarrett & Aj Styles
TNA Impact 7/2/09 Review
Kurt Angle comes out and starts talking about Mick Foley, and calls him out. I like Kurt Angle’s new look, it makes him look more evil. Foley stepped out and confronted Kurt Angle. Scot Steiner beat up Foley’s security with a Lead Pipe, ending their storyline; hopefully. Foley punched Angle, then got a beat down from the Main Event Mafia. Afterwards Jeff Jarrett ran down to save Foley!
Double J then hit Foley in the head with a guitar, and walked away.
We got into an interview with Kevin Nash…lame. This segment sucks.
Amazing Red defeated Cody Deaner
Amazing Red is one of my favorite guys to return to TNA, he’s got the fastest execution I’ve seen in pro wrestling in a long time. The twisting dive was impressive, picture perfect, nice landing, and wow…impressive. Somehow Cody Deaner got Red in a compromised position and was actually winning for a good part. Deaner went to the top rope and went flying! He went for the Swan dive headbutt, but Amazing red hit a sweet Red Eye (second rope launch DDT). Tna’s Amazing Red deserves a title shot!
Eric Young defeated Rhino
Rhino ran into the ring and started blasting Young with lefts and rights. Eric Young was taking a beating early into the match up. This match was fast and not that good. Young didn’t get too much offense in, but eventually pinned Rhino, which was out of the blue via a head butt and sneaky pin. This was a terrible finish.
Awesome Kong & Tara defeated Velvet Sky & Angelina Love
Tara, at least to me, had a limp on her way down to the ring. The match was not half bad, The beautiful people had full control of this one. With quick tags and legitimate punishment, they really played up the heel tag team, without compromising their skill set. Awesome Kong got involved and hit a picture perfect Implant Buster and it was awesome! She gets the pin, and I was pleased.
Booker T & Scott Steiner defeated Team 3-D
Team 3-D had the edge early on, and I liked it. They seemed to have a second wind and really looked like that old Team 3-D even if it was short lived. However, as the match carried on it was Steiner and Booker that were looking like the well oiled machine not Team 3-D. Booker was fast and fresh, but Devon had a few shots to make things turn around as he was setting up a huge hot tag! Bubba Ray Dudley was working a little light at first, but things got better as he cleaned house including a nice Bubba Bomb on Scott Steiner. Booker T though, got the book end but couldn’t get the three count. Sheik Abdul Bashir and Kiyoshi came to the announce table and started a fight with Beer Money who were doing commentary. Meanehile, Team 3-D hit 3-D on Booker T! Sharmel jumped in and distracted the referee! Scott Steiner got in and was immediately hit with a headbutt to the groin! Out ran Brutus Magnus came down and did the slowest run in wrestling history costing Team 3D the match.
Jethro Holliday vs. Jay “Black Machismo” Lethal
This match never really got started as Abyss beat up Lethal and then ran down to ringside to beat up Jethro Holliday! That’s about it, Abyss beat him up and went away.
Kurt Angle & Samoa Joe defeated Jeff Jarrett & Aj Styles
This match was going back and forth with neither team truly getting over on the other. Styles and Jarrett worked well together, and Joe & Angle were taking some heavy shots here and there. We had a commercial break and upon return Samoa Joe had this match well taken care of. Aj got a double ddt on Angle and Joe, which proved to be somewhat of an equalizer. Styles hit a huge Pele’ on Joe, and hit Double J for the hot tag and he was like a house on fire, hitting Angle with everything he had, but it was a short second wind. Double J reversed the Angle Slam into a ddt, and things looked bad for the Main Event Mafia. Joe got hit by Aj Styles but hit the ref too! Double J hit The Stroke from the middle rope, but the ref was out cold! Angle got the Ankle Lock onto Jarrett, and right in the middle of the ring! Jarrett passed out with the Ankle Lock strapped in, and he went limp from pain. Kurt Angle wins via death? Hahah…you know what I mean.
Just a heads up, I'll be gone tomorrow, so no smackdown review...but i'll be back monday or tuesday with a full Raw review.

Ecw on Scifi 6/30/09 Results and Review The Dreamer Era Still
Ecw on Scifi 6/30/09 Results and Review
Yoshi Tatsu defeated Shelton Benjamin
Shamus defeated Oliver John
Vladimir Kozlov & William Regal defeated Christian & Tommy Dreamer
Ecw on Scifi 6/30/09 Results and Review
The start of ECW had the general manager talking about having new superstars thanks to Trump. Guess who got demoted? Shelton Benjamin!
Yoshi Tatsu defeated Shelton Benjamin
Yoshi Tatsu is an all new guy, he looked interesting, and Shelton was completely surprised. Shelton was making fun of Yoshi and then got hit in the head and it was over. Shelton jobs to Yoshi in a few seconds…what a terrible match. I want to wish Shelton his best on his future endeavors.
Abraham Washington has his own MVP style show. Washington is the latest ECW acquisition. Washington was playing up a comedian type show making fun of people. This segment was lame.
Shamus defeated Oliver John
These guys were nothing more than new jobber types. Shamus won, with some interesting power moves, but this guy was not great. I wasn’t impressed yet, and it really just seemed like a lackluster Ecw match, seriously.
Vladimir Kozlov & William Regal defeated Christian & Tommy Dreamer
This match was your standard tag match, it seemed painfully obvious that these four are the future of ECW and that’s a shame. They put together an ok match up, but nothing too crazy. Kozlov is still looking amateur at best, Christian and Dreamer worked well, but it just seemed so forced at times. Somehow, Regal pulled off a good overall match by getting the pin. The foreign movement in the heel department is evident in this match up.
This was the worst ECW I’ve seen in a long time.
