WWE 205 Live June 26, 2018 Results and Review The C Show Or Something

Gulak Gets The Last Laugh - SRC WWE
205 Live throws the same things at you all the time, and here we go again.

Akira Tozawa defeated Tony Nese

I think Tony Nese is one hell of a wrestler, and yet he doesn’t get too many wins. Akira Tozawa gets through a lot of offense here, but it wasn’t without Nese throwing down either. The two went back and forth going through a lot of different arenas of pushes and got through a great deal of fighting to get to the end. Tozawa would get the win with his finisher, and that was that. Nese was not a slouch here, it was hard hitting.

Lio Rush defeated a Jobber

There wasn’t much to this. Lio Rush won a jobber match, which means there aren’t that many competitors in 205 live? Lame.

Drew Gulak, Jack Gallagher, and The Brian Kendrick defeated The Lucha House Party in an elimination style tag team match

As far as 205 Live is concerned, I feel like I’ve seen these guys wrestle one hundred times already, and that isn’t a good thing. I’m so tired of seeing these guys wrestle, and it’s usually to a similar conclusion. This time around, it was another entertaining match, but I’ve already seen everything that these guys can do against each other, so it bored me for the most part. At the end of the day, the match was won by Drew Gulak and his finisher, and then he killed the piƱata in his honor. That was that.

205 Live is now officially the C show for me. Enzo at least brought some great entertainment to this, and this is just boring. No TJP this week, no other players, just boredom if you ask me. Not a great show if you watch this every week, but if you don’t watch it often, it was definitely a good one to watch.

WWE Smackdown Live June 26, 2018 Results and Review Where Is Andrade?

The Young Upstart Kane Finally Gets A Shot At The Main Roster - SRC WWE
Why would the WWE keep bringing up talent only for them to not get featured on the show? I’m talking about Andrade Cien Almas, and of course Tye Dillinger, the perfect 10. I guess they just don’t want to showcase these guys? Send them back to NXT then! Geez. Oh yeah, we had Smackdown this week, let’s talk about that for a moment.

WWE Smackdown Live June 26, 2018 Results and Review

Today we start with pure wrestling! No. I kid. We started with Miz TV! More talking! This ended with a challenge as Daniel Bryan came out and talked, which was boring. I don’t want to see more talking, but hey that’s what you get with WWE these days. The promo worked and we got a match for later that will feature Daniel Bryan and one of the Bludgeon Brothers. The Miz escaped a beat down here.

Rusev defeated Xavier Woods

This was your standard television match, nothing too complicated about it. You had a feeling that Rusev was going to win, since it was Rusev day. The match was nothing to write home about, and here I am writing about it, aren’t I? Well, the whole match was good overall, and it definitely had some good points, with Rusev eventually countering Woods here and there and hitting the accolade, making Woods tap fast. Rusev then cut a promo. Not a bad way to start the show, well second on the show, but I could use less talking from Rusev, and more wrestling from Aj Styles.

Apparently the cast of Glow was there to say what’s up to Lana and Naomi. Cool, I guess. I didn’t think all of the starts were there, but maybe there’s all new women? I don’t know.

Jeff Hardy defeated Eric Young by Disqualification

This was a match that was ok at best, but it really took off when the USOS showed up and dispatched Sanity as they were outside. This turned into a six man tag team match, and I was wondering where Teddy Long was to make this happen.

The Usos and Jeff Hardy defeated Sanity

Well well, the new team coming up from NXT gets beat down and loses to the established Smackdown stars. Why bring up starts to get them beat by established stars? I don’t get it. The match was fast paced, and it was really fun to see. The Usos and Jeff Hardy threw down their greatest hits, and it was fun to see, so I guess in terms of wrestling alone, this was great to watch and it was definitely worth your time if you haven’t seen it just yet.

Becky Lynch defeated Sonia Deville

I love Deville. She’s beautiful, and great. Lynch is also smoking hot, but the two together can also throw down. Lynch was able to throw down a great deal of back and forth hits. I liked this one, and it had a great deal of action. Lynch won with the Disarm-her and that was that. Good back and forth, and nice action for the women.

James Ellsworth Cut A Promo

This was a great promo, and Ellsworth is great on the mic. Paige came out and said that Carmella has to fight Asuka. He called out Asuka. But Paige said Asuka wasn’t there etc. Next week Ellsworth will fight Ellsworth next week, and that’s that.

Daniel Bryan defeated Luke Harper via DQ

This wasn’t a great match, but it was adequate for me. It had a good back and forth at first glance, and of course it had Daniel Bryan chopping down Harper for the most part. When it looked like he was going to win, Rowan jumped in to stop things, and that caused the DQ. Kane then showed up and we had a reunion of Team Hell NO, and that was that. Kane, folks, the young upstart KANE is back, instead of Andrade Cien Almas instead of Tye Dillinger, instead of anyone else that they called up, it was that young upstart KANE.

Smackdown was ok, the WWE packed in a few things, but it’s really stupid that this is the conclusion of certain things. There’s a lot to be desired, and honestly, this is a B show for me.

WWE Monday Night Raw June 25, 2018 Results and Review A New Raw A New Boredom Movement

Sasha Banks Flies - src wwe dot com
We are here again, reviewing Raw. I’m sorry if you guys missed me, I was catching up on all the things from Chicago and what not. I was at NXt and Money in The Bank. It was a great thing for me, and needed the break from writing. WWE Monday Night Raw came through San Diego, California and it started with a lot of talking, again.

WWE Monday Night Raw June 25, 2018 Results and Review

The show started with Kurt Angle and Baron Corbin, then they were interrupted by Roman Reigns and Bobby Lashley. Kurt Angle couldn’t get a word out without getting interrupted, and of course, this is how Raw always shows up. Angle says that there will not be a multi-man match at Extreme Rules because of Brock Lesnar’s contract issues. I hate that dude. The two dudes were interrupted by The Revival. The Revival showed up and well, they were destined to lose.

The Revival defeated Bobby Lashley and Roman Reigns

The Revival was getting a beat down throughout the match, but they came together to get a few shots in against the makeshift duo. There was a bit of strife amidst the two, and what seemed like an easy win for the two powerhouses, turned bad when The Revival was able to get a pin, with a handful of tights. Not a bad match at all. The two were able to work together until the end, and that was that.

Curtis Axel defeated Woken Matt Hardy

I have no idea what this was all about. Curtis Axel was able to beat Hardy, in a fast match. Like so fast, that it wasn’t much of a match at all. Hardy slipped or something, Axel fell on him and it was over.

The Authors of Pain defeated Jobbers

A job match! That’s it. The Authors of Pain win.

Alexa Bliss and Mickie James came out and started talking as per usual. Nothing crazy I guess. It was ok. Bliss then got interrupted by Natalya, and that led to the two women getting a singles match.

Natalya defeated Alexa Bliss

This was a fast paced match, with a few botches. Natalya was able to get the win after some back and forth action, mainly because Nia Jax helped her cheat. After Bliss was tripped by Jax, Natalya slapped on the sharpshooter and made Bliss tap.

The Riott Squad interrupted a photo shoot of Jinder Mahal and broke a camera. That was kind of funny, I liked it. They are so punk, aren’t they? Note the sarcasm.

The Riott Squad defeated Sasha Banks, Bayley, and Ember Moon

This was your standard six man tag, and it was somewhat short. There was a lot of action early on, and then a distraction roll up and that was that. The women cleared the ring, with the exception of Bayley and Sasha. Bayley lost it, and started to beat the hell out of Sasha Banks. She even said that Sasha wasn’t SHIT! I loved it. It’s about time! The crowd went nuts for this, and I did too, Bayley needs a mean streak.

Kevin Owens and Braun Strowman defeated Finn Balor and Baron Corbin by Countout

Strowman and Owens made for a good team, and beat up the competition for the most part. Balor and Corbin couldn’t get along after some time, and end up losing via countout when they were outside fighting one another.

After the match, Kevin Owens wanted to befriend Strowman, so he ran and that was that, for a moment. So Kevin Owens runs outside and tries to leave, but he finds out that his car was tipped over by Strowman. Yep.

Mojo Rawley refused to fight No Way Jose

Yep that’s it.

Seth Rollins defeated Dolph Ziggler by DQ

This was a good 30 minute match, but guess what? Ziggler would end up keeping the title when Drew McIntyre pulled the ref and caused the disqualification. Overall, this was a fun match, and there was a lot of back and forth. This was a great match, and it was definitely going to be something that Rollins could’ve won, if it weren’t for McIntyre coming in. This was a great main event, and would eventually get Roman Reigns running in to help Rollins. Overall, however, the match was great, and despite the DQ finish, it was worthy of the main event of Raw.

I’ve read a lot of negative things about Monday Night Raw. I’m not in that camp. This was a fun show, and had a great main event. There was a lot to offer here, and while there were a few highs and lows, the offering was good. I didn’t like that they didn’t have Elias in there, he should’ve cost Rollins the match, but oh well. It was an OK night of wrestling at best.

WWE 205 Live June 12, 2018 Results and Review Just Wrestling

Mustafa Ali Against All Odds - SRC WWE
This must be the C show right? All I can say about these shows is that I really miss Enzo Amore. He was killer on the mic and could draw real heat, not like anything going on right now with the wrestling.

WWE 205 Live June 12, 2018 Results and Review Just Wrestling

Kalisto, Gran Metalik, and Lince Dorado defeated Drew Gulak, The Brian Kendrick, and Jack Gallagher

There’s nothing wrong with these guys wrestling, but I feel like I’ve seen this so many times, that it’s been bad. Not only that, the good guys win again, and it’s awful. I hate how predictable things are, and well, once again we are in a predictable mode and that sucks.

Akira Tozawa defeated Steve Irby

A jobber match, nothing to see here. They have such an array of talent, but this is how they use it?

Mustafa Ali defeated Tony Nese

Of course he did. This was a match I’ve seen one hundred times before, and it was good as always, but when you see the same thing over and over again, you start to get bored with things. It was fine, but I could’ve easily spent my time doing literally anything else, and guessed the result of this match.

WWE Smackdown Live June 12, 2018 Results and Review The B Show Strikes Twice

They call Smackdown the B show, and to be honest, it sure feels that way sometimes. This show wasn’t half bad, and I didn’t hate it, but there were some moments that made me question what I’m doing with my life, writing about wrestling, and going to shows.

Before going into the Review, I need to remind all readers that I will be in Chicago for MONEY IN THE BANK, so if you’re out there, drop me a line on twitter, I’m jaydune, or message me on this site or email me and we can connect. I will be there for Takeover and Money In The Bank.

WWE Smackdown Live June 12, 2018 Results and Review

Becky Lynch Flies - SRC WWE
So let’s get this review started, by stating that I hate the talking segments on all wrestling shows from the WWE. I’m sick of it. Paige hosted a Women’s Money In The Bank Summit, and it was the same that you’d expect, everyone says they are going to win, and that’s it.

Daniel Bryan defeated Shelton Benjamin

This was a fun match, with a lot of back and forth between the wrestlers. These guys can work, and they were given a little bit of time, and it worked well for the most part. Bryan was able to reverse some of the stuff that Shelton was throwing at him, but it was definitely not an easy win. Benjamin was able to get through a lot of the offense, and even reversed a lot of the action, only to end up getting tapped out.

Jerry “The King” Lawler interviewed Aj Styles

This was just a promo.

Rusev defeated Samoa Joe with The Miz as Special Guest Referee

Wow, this is not what I thought was going to happen at all. Rusev looked to be getting choked out, but after some back and forth issues with The Miz, Joe couldn’t get the upper hand, and ended up losing. This was a throw away match with some shenanigans, and it was interesting to see the dynamic. It was a fun little showcase, and I’m not sure who’s going to win the briefcase this Sunday. I will say this much, Rusev looked great with Joe, and Joe’s new haircut sucks.

After the match, The Miz climbed a ladder and got a briefcase, but it was full of pancakes!

Jeff Hardy defeated Shinsuke Nakamura by DQ

This was a good back and forth match, and right when things were getting really good, Nakamura hit a low blow and that was the end of that. Jeff Hardy was great here, and Nakamura kept up with him quite well, but I’m absolutely surprised by how this all came through, with Nakamura knocking out Hardy with a low blow.

Asuka, Becky Lynch, Naomi, Lana, and Charlotte Flair defeated Carmella, Mandy Rose, Sonya Deville, Peyton Royce, and Billie Kay

Wow, what a match, this was exciting for me, and everyone watching. There was a lot of back and forth, and everyone was able to shine here. Lots of action, and lots of fighting back and forth, with the women getting close falls, breaking up pins and so much more.

Smackdown may be the B show, but tonight was fun, especially with two good matches, and a time frame that was a lot less than Raw. That’s something worth noting, that’s for sure.

WWE Monday Night Raw June 11, 2018 Results and Review Things Keep Going Down

This Is What Raw Needed? - Src wwe dot com
Here we go, another edition of Raw, and this time around, I was able to watch and review it! Yay! If you follow this blog, you will know that I will be at Money In The Bank and NXT Takeover this weekend in Chicago! That’s right, I will be there, and it should be a lot of fun. I’ll take pictures for this website. Anyways, let’s discuss the crappy, or rather terrible Raw that came through.

WWE Monday Night Raw June 11, 2018 Results and Review

The opening of the show was a throw back to where everyone was on their ladder talking with microphones and it was a mixed bag of men and women. This was stupid.

Natalya defeated Sasha Banks, Alexa Bliss, and Ember Moon

Perhaps one of the best moments of the show was this match. This was a good women’s match, and it had a lot of back and forth action, and some good hits throughout. Ember Moon is so good, Bliss, Banks, and Natalya all have great offense, and there was a lot of counters here before Natalya would get the big win. I hope she gets the briefcase at this point.

Dolph Ziggler and Drew McIntyre defeated Breezango

This was a jobber match, and burial for the most part.

Roman Reigns defeated Sunil Singh

We were told that Jinder Mahal was going to face off against Roman Reigns, but he didn’t. Instead, Sunil Singh was in there and he got buried. But after Jinder hit Roman with his finisher and left him laying in the ring. Jinder will lose at Money in the Bank, mind you.

The B Team defeated Heath Slater and Rhyno

I’m glad that one member of the Nexus and Rhyno are getting big paychecks, while The B Team is getting a push, only to lose this Sunday, right? I don’t know, this was a squash match.

Seth Rollins broke Elias’ guitar.

Oh, ok.

Ruby Riott defeated Bayley

This was a great match! Riott is such a fun woman to watch in the ring, and Bayley is always good when they let her really wrestle. It was fun, back and forth, and Riott won the match with a little help from her friends. I loved this, and it was definitely worth checking out. Perhaps the best match of the night! Go back and see this one and see how Riott and Bayley were able to throw down a good match on a crappy Raw.

Ronda Rousey made Nia Jax Tap Out

Yeah, that’s exactly what happened, nothing to see here.

No Way Jose defeated Curt Hawkins

Curt Hawkins dressed up like someone in the No Way Jose party, then got beat down and he lost again. That was that.

Sami Zayn vs Bobby Lashley in an Obstacle Course

This is what wrestling was missing! This was the worst ever. Just stupid.

Braun Strowman defeated Finn Balor, Kevin Owens, and Bobby Roode

This was a very good main event, with lots of action, including Roode, Balor and Owens hitting Strowman with their finishers, only for him to kick out. Too bad he can’t beat Roman Reigns or Brock Lesnar. This was a good match, what can I say? Strowman would win, but he took a beating from all other men in this match, and it’s clear to see that he’s going to be getting close to winning the big ladder match this weekend, but will most likely not get the big win.

This night of Raw was abysmal when you compare it to the New Japan Show, and that’s that.
