WWE Smackdown 6/17/2016 Results and Review
Here we go, the ever so popular B show continues, and boy does it smell like yesterday’s news. It’s honestly one of the worst shows that WWE produces, and it’s no wonder that guys like Solomonster don’t review it at all. Is anyone watching? Does anyone like the fake cheers and jeers that are piped in? I don’t know, I personally don’t.
The Highlight Reel returned and the guest, sigh, Dean Ambrose. This turned into a brawl after someone spilled coffee on Jericho’s new rug. Whatever, I’m tired of these stupid idiots.
Kofi Kingston won a fatal four way match
Members of each team from this weekend’s tag team title match were featured in this match, and it was Kofi Kingston that won after a lot of back and forth action. Enzo was on commentary with Xavier, and it worked out well on that end. Good fun match, but it was Kofi with the win, heading into the Money In The Bank event this weekend. Great commentary, more than the in ring work.
Baron Corbin defeated Zack Ryder
Ryder got buried, simple. Ziggler was on commentary and the two nearly went to blows.
Rusev defeated Kalisto
Rusev beat down Kalisto, and won. That’s it. A burial right? Fun.
Aj Styles defeated Xavier Woods
Ever wonder why Aj Styles, despite a bad back, continues to wrestle on EVERY show that the WWE pushes out? John Cena doesn’t. Roman Reigns doesn’t. Lame. Anyways, Styles wins this one, in a back and forth match with Xavier Woods. This just makes Styles look weak in my book. If Woods can go toe to toe against Styles, what does that mean for the match against Cena? Think about that for a moment. Styles can’t even put away Woods with ease. He won, but not looking too strong in defeat, just saying.
Cesaro, Sami Zayn, and Dean Ambrose defeated Kevin Owens, Alberto Del Rio and Chris Jericho
I feel like I’ve already seen this match 100 times before. Therefore this was fun, but nothing new. You can already picture what this match was like, no doubt. It was a fun, fast paced match, and definitely worth checking out, if you have nothing else to watch. I liked it enough, that’s for sure.
