WWE Friday Night Smackdown 2/26/10 Results

Dolph Ziggler defeated John Morrison and R Truth in a triple threat money in the bank qualifier
Michelle McCool defeated Mickie James w/ special guest referee Vickie Guerrero
Kane defeated Drew McIntyre in a money in the bank qualifying match
Shelton Benjamin defeated Cm Punk in a money in the bank qualifying match
Edge defeated The Miz

WWE Friday Night Smackdown 2/26/10 Review

Chris Jericho opened up the show by getting on the mic, and showing off the gold yet again. Edge came out and cut a promo against Chris Jericho. Jericho hit Edge with the belt only to get speared after a failed Codebreaker attempt.

Dolph Ziggler defeated John Morrison and R Truth in a triple threat money in the bank qualifier

Not a bad match, lots of back and forth action from these three, with Morrison looking to win this thing after Starship Pain on Truth. However, Dolph Ziggler bounced back from a sick bump off the apron to get the quick win. Ziggler is back in action and will most likely get another good push at Wrestlemania and afterwards. Ziggler really bumped well here and Morrison didn’t fake an injury for once, which was a nice thing to look at. Truth as always was doing his thing, but just couldn’t overcome the number game.

Michelle McCool defeated Mickie James w/ special guest referee Vickie Guerrero

This match was a throwback to classic screw job matches for titles. Michelle McCool had Vickie Guerrero in her back pocket and it showed as she showed favor to McCool throughout the match. After Guerrero took a small bump she attacked Mickie James and caused her to lose the title! McCool is your new wwe women’s champion.

Kane defeated Drew McIntyre in a money in the bank qualifying match

Kane couldn’t put away Drew for the Intercontinental Title but he somehow was able to beat him here to qualify for Money in the Bank. I didn’t find this match very entertaining at all. Drew got worked and hopefully he’s on his way out, because he has the charisma of a wet blanket.

Shelton Benjamin defeated Cm Punk in a money in the bank qualifying match

CM Punk was in a half-way decent match with Shelton Benjamin and things were going well for the straightedge super-star but after interference from Rey Mysterio this match was all over. This wasn’t that good, but hey, it was on free tv.

Edge defeated The Miz

This match wasn’t all that great, but it had a few good spots to check out. The Miz has really shown he can main event television and we’ll see if his push continues. Edge really looked strong, but lighter than I’ve seen him in previous years. Edge won this match to a semi-cheering crowd, not as large as I’d expect, but that’s just me.

Overall the show was ok, nothing too great in my view. I didn’t find it all that amazing, and didn’t really care. Maybe I’m just tired this week.

TNA Impact 2/26/10 Results

Team 3D defeated The Nasty Boys in a tables Match
ODB defeated Daffney via dq
Kazarian defeated Brian Kendrick
Big Rob defeated Mr. Anderson
Abyss defeated Desmond Wolfe

TNA Impact 2/26/10 Review

The opening of Impact was all about Abyss. Aj Styles opened the show and cut a boring promo. Ric Flair cut a lame promo against Hogan and Abyss. Abyss came down and got verbally yelled at by Flair, and looked stupid, wearing the hall of fame ring. Aj just stood there looking like a chump. I didn’t like this segment and I hoped for a better TNA impact, this wasn’t good…it got tiring. Abyss started to talk randomly, and then started to get serious.

Hogan came down to the ring before anything major broke out, and Hogan just started to cut a promo against Flair and Aj Styles. This, I suppose is setting up the Monday night Impact tag team match up for a couple of weeks.

Team 3D defeated The Nasty Boys in a tables Match

I don’t hate the nasty Boys. I don’t hate Team 3D. I have seen many better matches from the two of these, and this wasn’t one of the better ones. It wasn’t as bad as many people think, and the match at least had the tables element to break up the street fight action. This match broke down with Jesse Neal coming to help Team 3D and the Nasty Boys losing by getting tossed through a table. This match wasn’t that great, but I’ve seen worse from TNA in the past.

ODB defeated Daffney via dq

I like Daffney. I think she’s hot. But she can’t put together a good wrestling match as this one broke down with ODB getting beaten up with a broom etc. Daffney goes nuts again. It sucked.

Beer Money cut a promo, then Hernandez came out and said they’d give them a title shot. I didn’t care.

Bischoff talked to Double J, who stormed into the office. The two will talk about stuff in the ring later in the show.

So far this show was a waste of time.

Kazarian defeated Brian Kendrick

This match was just a burial of Brian Kendrick. A short match, that didn’t feature a whole lot of action, and it looks like Kazarian is on the fast track to winning to x-division title.

Big Rob defeated Mr. Anderson

Big Rob pinned a lifeless Mr. Anderson. Anderson was hit with a chair before the match begun by Kurt Angle.

Abyss defeated Desmond Wolfe

Abyss beat Desmond in a fast match. There wasn’t much to it.

Post match Abyss was getting beat up by Flair and Styles, and Abyss was handcuffed to the ring ropes. Hogan came down for the safe but was busted open by Flair and Aj. The Ring gave Abyss powers and he eventually busted open the cuffs and saved Hulk.

This is THE WORST TNA IMPACT ENDING EVER! TNA SUCKS!

WWE NXT 2/23/10 Results

Chris Jericho defeated Daniel Bryan
David Otunga (R Truth’s guy) defeated Darren Young (cm punk’s guy)
Heath Slater & Christian defeated Michael Tarver & Carlito

WWE NXT 2/23/10 Review

The show opened up with The Miz talking to Daniel Bryan.

Daniel Bryan opened the show on the mic.

The Miz came out then slapped Daniel and said he sucked and he failed, then he slapped him.

Carlito came out and introduced, Michael Tarver.

Heath Slater & Christian defeated Michael Tarver & Carlito

This match featured some new guys, and I didn’t really dislike it. I though the camera was way too close to the action, but overall this thing was interesting, and I liked the way they worked. These guys didn’t look green to me, and I would like to see how this thing continues.

David Otunga (R Truth’s guy) defeated Darren Young (cm punk’s guy)

Punk didn’t want to be there nor did he like his rookie. Darren Young looks like John Cena wearing black face…just saying. This match was so fast that I hated it. Otunga is a power dude and it’s interesting to see him mess up and recover. I didn’t like it. These two idiots didn’t do it for me.

Chris Jericho defeated Daniel Bryan

Michael Cole was unleashing a flurry of bad things to say about Daniel Bryan! If you heard it you were shocked cause he turned into the biggest heal announcer of all time.

Daniel Bryan was impressive against Chris Jericho, and there was some sick moments. Bryan took a hit to the outside that looked like broke his ribs as Jericho caught him and threw him into the announce table in one quick step, it was insane. Chris Jericho cinched in the Walls of Jericho the old way and really put pressure on the neck and back, of Bryan and beat him severely.

Post match Bryan got beaten the snot out of by The Miz.

WWE Monday Night Raw 2/22/10 Results and Review Elimination Chamber Fallout

WWE Monday Night Raw 2/22/10 Results

Maryse defeated Gail Kim for the WWE Divas Championship
Kofi Kingston, Yoshi Tatsu, and Evan Bourne defeated Randy Orton, Ted Dibiase, and Cody Rhodes
John Cena defeated Batista via disqualification
Christian defeated Carlito in a money in the bank qualifier
Big Show & Miz defeated MVP & Mark Henry

WWE Monday Night Raw 2/22/10 Review

One night after The Elimination Chamber PPV, out comes the Raw show…hosted by Jewel and Some Idiot….I don’t remember his name.

Raw opened the night Chris Jericho walking down with the World Championship Belt. Chris Jericho was basically telegraphing Edge’s opponent for Wrestlemania. They set up Chris Jericho vs Edge at Wrestlemania for the world title!

John Cena got on the mic and was demanding a rematch right now. That prompted Vince McMahon to come out and talk to John Cena. McMahon wouldn’t budge and said that Sheamus also lost the title so he deserved a second shot. John Cena was placed in a match and if he won he’d wrestle Batista. However, if he lost, Sheamus would get a Wrestlemania shot. He has to wrestle Batista tonight and win if he wants a chance at Wrestlemania.

Maryse defeated Gail Kim for the WWE Divas Championship

These two actually put on a good overall match, at least for divas. Gail Kim was going for high flying moves, but it was Maryse that countered her and didn’t allow her to launch. Maryse managed to knockout Gail Kim after hitting her neck on the top rope, and then hit the French Kiss DDT and won the match. Maryse is now the divas champion.

Kofi Kingston, Yoshi Tatsu, and Evan Bourne defeated Randy Orton, Ted Dibiase, and Cody Rhodes

This match was your standard six man tag, with the same amount of action you’d come to expect from this type of match. Kofi and Orton had some great exchanges, and Orton seemed like he didn’t want to tag in at all.

Towards the end, Orton hit Rhodes with a huge DDT!

Then he started to walk away and Ted Dibiase went to talk to him, yelled, and got an RKO for his troubles.

Orton then walked away. Yoshi Tatsu and Evan Bourne took over, and a quick flight off the top rope, and this match was done. This was not half bad, and the breakdown of Legacy has finally come to fruition.
Shawn Michaels came out and talked about how wants a shot at Undertaker one more time and that last night he forced his way into getting a reaction from Taker.

Undertaker came out and confronted HBK and confirmed. Shawn Michaels will get a shot at the streak at Wrestlemania.

Christian defeated Carlito in a money in the bank qualifier

At this point of Raw they had a mechanical bull riding contest with the divas…this was such a stupid segment.

The best part was Big Show, he got on the mechanical bull! But he got pwned! It was hilarious.

Big Show & Miz defeated MVP & Mark Henry

The Big Show and Miz put up a good fight, and they really fought hard. MVP and Mark Henry did look solid in their loss, but they just didn’t have enough to topple the champions. I liked this match, and the tag team is actually quite good when you consider they haven’t been together too long. Big Show knocked out Mark Henry to win this match up for his team.

They will induct Wendy Richter into the Hall of Fame.

John Cena defeated Batista

Batista and Cena started this match in an odd fashion. John Cena was hitting fast and hard, but Batista kicked Cena square in the balls. That caused the referee to disqualify him and Cena won. I guess the two will meet at Wrestlemania. Batista then beat the crap out of Cena after the match was over.

Post match Batista continued to beat up John Cena, attempting to injure John Cena so that he wouldn’t even make it to Wrestlemania.

WWE Elimination Chamber 2010 Results and Review

I’m sorry I’m late with all this, I’ve been working on my 1” button company called The Button Kids and just lost track of time. However, here is the first of two reviews for today, The Elimination Chamber and the Raw afterwards…

WWE Elimination Chamber 2010 Results

John Cena defeated Triple H, Ted Dibiase, Randy Orton, and Kofi Kingston in the elimination chamber to capture the WWE championship
Batista defeated John Cena to become the new WWE Champion
Drew McIntyre defeated Kane in the Intercontinental Championship Match

The Miz defeated MVP in the U.S Title Match
Chris Jericho defeated The Undertaker, Cm Punk, John Morrison, R Truth, and Rey Mysterio

WWE Elimination Chamber 2010 Review

John Cena defeated Triple H, Ted Dibiase, Randy Orton, and Kofi Kingston in the elimination chamber to capture the WWE championship

John Cena opened up the show and the first participant in the Chamber! The crowd blew up huge for this, and it looked pretty cool.

John Cena, Ted Dibiase, Randy Orton and Triple H were stuck in the pods while Kofi Kingston and Sheamus started the match

The pop for Randy Orton was huge. The guy is bound for the anti-hero face turn, he’s just bound for it.

I wasn’t sure who’d walk out big at this ppv, so I was blind to the start, Kofi and Sheamus. Kofi and Sheamus really started well, Kofi was all over the champion. I thought Kofi was going to really upset the champion, as it looked great to me. Sheamus was in control and the countdown began for the next competitor.

Triple H was next.

Triple H got into the ring and he stared down Sheamus…could this be Wrestlemania?

Triple H started with big right hands but Sheamus stopped that fast and wasn’t letting himself get outwrestled by the Champion, but then a big knee to the head really changed that up fast. Sheamus was reeling, and Kofi was outside the ring on the metal. Kofi got back into the match and was on fire against Sheamus and Triple H. Kofi hit Triple H on the metal apron with a Boom Dropbut landed on his backbone and looked hurt.

Randy Orton was next.

Randy Orton jumped into the match and blew open the doors. He was hitting everyone that was in the ring and was not letting up. He blasted ever single person in the ring, and started to work on Sheamus, and was getting the fan reaction of a face! My pick at this point in the match was definitely Orton, he was looking like a top notch talent. Kofi leaped off the top rope mid match and Orton hit him in mid air with a perfect dropkick defense! It was picture perfect, mid air dropkick by Orton on Kofi! I marked out huge, and after the initial pop, the crowd went silent as Orton looked to fight off Triple H next. Orton threw everyone over the top rope to the metal grating, and looked strong as he was fighting to get the win. Sheamus got the better of Orton throwing him into ring post.

Ted Dibiase was next.

Dibiase jumped into the match fresh and clean, hitting Triple H with huge right hands, then looking around to see who he’d hit next with his right hands…then he was read to attack Randy Orton, but instead offered his hand to help him out. The two started to fight together and worked on Triple H! Randy Orton with Dibiase’s help got a huge ddt on the metal grating, knocking him out nicely. Afterwards, the two friends got right in front of the door of the pod that John Cena was in and it was on!

Cena was next.

John Cena fought through both Orton and Dibiase on his way to nearly eliminating Orton right away. He was on fire and was huge, getting the crowd cheering with every move he had. He hit a huge leg drop to the back of the neck, and I was excited to see what he had in mind. Cena hit a huge Attitude Adjustment on Dibiase to the metal grating on the outside! Orton then took control and I was into the match finally!

This match was definitely looking good to me so far. Finally a good match! Dibiase was nearly eliminated but Orton saved him and was telegraphing the RKO…but out ran Cody Rhodes! Rhodes threw in a Metal Pipe and Dibiase grabbed it! DIBIASE HIT ORTON FIRST WITH THE METAL PIPE AND THEN JOHN CENA!

DIBIASE PINNED and ELIMINATED RANDY ORTON! The crowd was in complete shock and ORTON was OUT cold! There is going to be Hell to pay for Dibiase after this match that’s for sure. I liked this, the Metal Pipe shot to Orton’s head really shocked the crowd and his elimination sent a chill up my spine. I couldn’t believe I was excited.

Trouble In Paradise was hit on Dibiase and Kofi eliminated Dibiase!

Sheamus hit Kofi with a big boot and his finisher, eliminating Kofi Kingston with a sick move. Razor Ramon, eat your heart out, Sheamus made the Razor’s Edge look good again.

Then there were three.

Triple H eliminated Sheamus after a pedigree! That’s right TRIPLE H ELIMINATED SHEAMUS!

Then there was only two.

After a few minutes, John Cena made Triple H tapout to the STFU! He tapped after a long battle, and John Cena was completely gone…spent, and the new champion!

John Cena is the NEW CHAMPION!

Vince McMahon came out and said that John Cena will have to first battle the next guy….BATISTA!

BATISTA shows up! Batista, THE ANIMAL, will face John Cena for the title!

Batista defeated John Cena to become the new WWE Champion

The match started with John Cena starting with a big right hand, and only made Batista made. Batista hit a HUGE SPEAR! THE BIGGEST SPEAR OF HIS CAREER THEN NEARLY KILLED CENA WITH A HUGE BATISTA BOMB!!!!

Batista is the new WWE CHAMPION! HOLY CRAP!

Drew McIntyre defeated Kane in the Intercontinental Championship Match

Kane started this match strong, hitting drew with some big right hands and then systematically trying to break him down with power moves, and offense. However, Drew changed things around and started to hit Kane with huge right hands, but couldn’t keep the Big Red Machine down. Drew McIntyre was in trouble and was about to get hit with the big Chokeslam, but McIntyre kept trying to fight back, even though he looked defeated on the outside of the ring. Drew hit Kane with a thumb to the eye than landed his Future Shock DDT finisher to retain the title in this somewhat boring intercontinental title match.

Gail Kim and Maryse were set to battle it out in the finals of the divas championship match. But Vickie Guerrero came out and changed the plans. So we would get a tag team match instead of the finals…lame.

Michelle McCool & Layla defeated Maryse & Gail Kim

This match wasn’t half bad, Gail Kim did a good job carrying her side. Maryse wouldn’t tag in, and Michelle McCool and Layla were showing bright spots to the wwe’s women’s division. This was definitely a change of pace in a lot of ways, because this match wasn’t just quick and done. Gail Kim just got worked in this match and was eventually knocked out cold with Michelle McCool’s finisher. This match was just the destruction of Gail Kim…sadly, the former knockouts champion and bright spot of the TNA knockouts.

Post match, Maryse hit Gail Kim with her French Kiss DDT and that was the end…finally I liked the divas for a moment in time.

William Regal got in the ring and was blabbering but out came Edge to interrupt him and cut a counter promo? Who cares? Not me. It was stupid to me. I was bored. Edge once again pushes his promo on who he is going to choose.

Regal got a spear for no apparent reason.

The Miz defeated MVP in the U.S Title Match

MVP started this match fast and hard. The Miz was taking a lot of shots, and was getting worked hard. MVP was definitely fighting strong style, and Miz was able to just keep in there. MVP was slowed down midway through this match but then shot up and drilled Miz with a huge right hand, but couldn’t capitalize on the big punch. The Miz seemed to have this thing in the bag and after a while this thing just looked like a Miz highlight reel until he made a mistake and MVP hit a huge belly to belly over the top suplex off the top rope! The Miz busted himself open the hard way with a headbutt. Mark Henry broke the guardrail when Big Show moved out of the way, and that was a highlight, but inside the ring, the Yakuza kick missed and Miz distracted the ref while Big Show hit Miz with a huge right hand, and Miz retains! Not a terrible match, the pacing was a little slow, but I liked how Henry killed the guard rail, the big suplex, and the Miz getting busted open the hard way was good too.

The second elimination chamber was next, and after the first one, I was really excited to see what was going to happen.

Chris Jericho defeated The Undertaker, Cm Punk, John Morrison, R Truth, and Rey Mysterio

Rey Mysterio, John Morrison, Chris Jericho and The Undertaker started inside the pods.

CM Punk got on the mic and it was gold again. He had a captive audience and relly just sold it, the guy doesn’t need a title, he’s amazing on the mic.

CM Punk and R Truth started the match.

I thought Shawn Michaels was going to knock someone out to get a shot inside, but so far, nope. Truth had complete control over Punk and at one point Truth did a complete flip off the top rope onto Punk, and this thing was just all TRUTH on Punk. It was quite the opening, that’s for sure. Punk hit a huge kick and then the GTS and BOOOM eliminated R TRUTH!

Before the time limit expired, Truth was gone and Punk got on the mic for another sermon! Wow!

CM Punk eliminated R Truth.

Rey Mysterio was next.

Myserio and Punk fought, with Mysterio fighting fast and hard. Punk was out classed right away with Mysterio being fresh. Punk was definitely caught off guard, that’s for sure. Mysterio looked to be setting up the 619 but Punk woke up fast and hit a huge power slam to stop Mysterio’s offense. He then set up the GTS but Mysterio countered and this one looked great to start. Punk threw Mysterio into the cage ad into the glass of the pods and was really hitting hard, but Mysterio wasn’t going down without a fight. Mysterio rose to the top of one of the pods, but Punk chased him and the two fought on the top rope. Punk got hit hard in the exchange, Mysterio turned things around, hit a huge splash and eliminated CM PUNK!

Chris Jericho was next.

Jericho and Mysterio exchanged moves, and Jericho got the better of the exchange because he was fresh. Mysterio hit the 619 and Jericho barely managed to roll outside of the ring and countered Mysterio’s high flying offense fast. Jericho bought himself some time and Mysterio was screaming in pain as he hit the metal apron hard. Mysterio’s Lucha Style Dragon Sleeper was impressive, but Jericho twisted it into the Walls of Jericho and really had Mysterio. But the next pod was about to open!

Morrison was next.

Morrison fought Jericho first and really tried to make a statement, getting some fast offense, but he also hit Mysterio, so it wasn’t one sided. Morrison was rocked hard as Mysterio knocked him off the top rope and into one of the pods. Morrison was set up for the 619 but Jericho hit a huge Tilt-O-World backbreaker. Mysterio fought a good battle and it looked like he had this thing in the bag at many different points of the match up. Mysterio was aiming for a huge Hurricanrana but held onto the ropes, and then hit Starship Pain! John Morrison eliminated Rey Mysterio!

Jericho and Morrison were left to fight each other off now, and Undertaker was in the chamber. Only good would come of this. Morrison was placed into the Walls of Jeriho, as the countdown for Taker was going down.

Undertaker was next and he jumped in fresh and was fighting great overall. However, Jericho and Morrison still had to fight and the two were pushing the Undertaker out of the match by working together. Jericho was busted open the hard way at this point, and the three were really fighting through some sick moments. Jericho tried to hide in a pod but Undertaker cornered him inside and was fighting hard and fast…leaving Jericho half dead inside a pod. Morison hit the Undertaker hard and it looked like he re-injured his leg, and went for Starship Pain, but Taker got the knee up and stopped it! Jericho was ready to fight, but he locked himself in a pod to avoid Undertaker and Morrison again. Morrison was victim to the Taker and as soon as Taker looked like he was going to hit the Last Ride, Jericho jumped out of his chamber and attacked at will!

This match was definitely living up to the hype, and was just as good as the first chamber match. Morrison got slammed hard on the steel apron outside the ring and looked like Taker had this one in the bag. After that he eliminated Morrison, and there was only two men left…Jericho and Undertaker and Taker meant business at this point. Jericho took his time and carefully plotted his move, while the crowd was firmly behind The Undertaker.

Jericho hit a good mid-rope Superplex and this thing looked great. I liked it. Jericho looked like he might be able to pin the world champion. Jericho slapped the Walls of Jericho on Undertaker and right in the middle of the ring! Taker turned it around and locked in Hell’s Gate on Jericho! Jericho fought away and got to the outside on the apron! Jericho hit a huge CODEBREAKER and I thought this one was over! After 2 and a quarter Taker pulled a shoulder up and that was insane! Jericho looked defeated, but he kept fighting Undertaker. Undertaker set up the Last Ride and Jericho was dead. He was completely dead, Jericho was finally put away….but Taker didn’t capitalize.

Undertaker then looked like he was going to end this thing with a Tombstone Piledriver! Out of nowhere, SHAWN MICHAELS SHOWED UP FROM UNDER THE GRATING! HBK KNOCKED OUT UNDERTAKER!

CHRIS JERICHO rolled over and PINNED UNDERTAKER! HBK COST TAKER THE MATCH! JERICHO PINNED TAKER!

CHRIS JERICHO IS THE NEW WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION!

HOLY CRAP HOLY CRAP! JERICHO WINS! JERICHO WINS!

This ppv really was worth it…man if you saw you had to like it. DANG HBK COSTS TAKER THE TITLE!

Cryme Tyme defeated Berreta and Croft
Kane defeated Dolph Ziggler
R Truth & John Morrison vs The Straightedge Society No Contest
The Hart Dynasty defeated Matt Hardy, The Great Khali & Maria
Edge vs Batista no contest

WWE Friday Night Smackdown 2/19/10 Review

This night of Smackdown opened up with Chris Jericho and edge on the mic. The two are telegraphing their upcoming match, even though Jericho is not champion. Expect Edge to get his hands on the title at Mania against Jericho.

This segment ended with Jericho getting speared, and Edge looking strong.

Kane vs Drew McIntyre for the Intercontinental championship will take place this weekend at WWE The Elimination Chamber.

Kane defeated Dolph Ziggler

Ziggler looked like he was going to win this match up due to Drew McIntyre coming out to watch at the entrance. That almost gave Ziggler the win, but not tonight, Kane hit the chokeslam and this match was done. Ziggler has gone way down since his epic matches with Rey Mysterio last summer on ppv. Sadly, no one cares, I’m sure.

Cryme Tyme defeated Berreta and Croft

You know, I’m surprised that Cryme Tyme hasn’t been split up yet. They are about due for a losing streak that leads them to go solo…right?

This match was ok, Croft and Berreta suck. I don’t really like them that much, but they managed to put together a good match. I liked it, for what it was. Cryme Tyme should get the titles, even if they just steal them.

A lot of time was wasted and I almost forgot that Smackdown was on.

R Truth & John Morrison vs The Straightedge Society No Contest

This match started a little slow, but as all tag matches go, moved forward with time. A random explosion occurred during the match, and the announcers said it was something to do with The Undertaker. The match had Punk spending a lot of time to fight R Truth and things were going bad for Truth. Truth eventually got the hot tag and Morrison was on a roll until Punk isolated Morrison’s ankle and went to town. The ref stopped the match and I guess it was ruled a no contest? I don’t know.

Mysterio ran down to save Truth after the match but got caught with a huge clothesline by Punk. Punk beat the crap out of Mysterio for coming out of the back. Then he ordered Gallows to hold Mysterio while Punk went to the top rope and hit a huge knee drop on the face of Mysterio. Morrison might be out for the elimination chamber match up, hill HBK be the one to take his place? We’ll see.

The Hart Dynasty defeated Matt Hardy, The Great Khali & Maria

This match was another Smackdown six man tag…I’m so sick of these six man matches. This was your standard fare, nothing too exciting, Natalya got the win with a tornado clothesline, and that’s about all that happened. It was somewhat of a boring match and Maria is not a good wrestler, just another pretty face.

Edge vs Batista no contest

Batista was ready to walk out of this match, and right before he got to the backstage area, Edge called him back and the Animal Batista returned to the ring and locked up with Edge. Batista was hitting hard, but Edge quickly turned things around, and the match continued. The two exchanged hits and misses, and Edge hit a huge spear only to have The Undertaker show up and interfere in the match. Edge hit a huge chokeslam, and Undertaker was left standing over a fallen Edge.

Chris Jericho ran in and hit the Codebreaker on Edge.

An ok show, nothing too crazy to mention.

I think for once, I preferred IMPACT to WWE! This is rare.

TNA Impact 2/18/10 Review

The opening segment of TNA featured The Pope cutting a good promo and calling Rick flair, Dick Flair. Aj Styles came down with Rick Flair and the two exchanged words before The Pope attacked. Aj Styles and Rick Flair out numbered The Pope and smashed his leg in between a chair. This was a great throwback to classic wrestling and I liked it a lot. It’s about time we get this kind of feud. Pope is going to need help to stop the numbers game, but I like him chasing the title and eventually getting it, maybe in a cage.

Tara defeated Daffney via disqualification

This match had actual wrestling, and wasn’t half bad at first. However, Daffney hit Tara with a tool box from under the ring, forcing the disqualification. Daffney then went to the attack after the match, and it was good overall, in my view. Maybe it’s cause I think Daffney’s hot.

Backstage Eric Bischoff throws Foley a bone by sending him on a shopping spree to updated his look.

Orlando Jordan defeated Samoa Joe

Samoa Joe might have missed the title at the ppv, but he was ready to strike and got a shot at fighting Orlando Jordan. He really was on the attack after a pre-match speech by Bischoff. Joe was hitting hard, but after a quick mistake, Jordan rolled him up and got the quick win! Joe was off his game for 3 seconds and he lost. This was a shocker, but with little to no fan reaction.

The Amazing Red, Generation Me, and Kazarian defeated Doug Williams, Brian Kendrick, The Motor City Machine Guns

All of these guys can put on great matches, and it’s impressive to see them work. My only complaints about these guys come from the lack of psychology sometimes. However, they managed to mix strong style from Doug Williams and high flying spots from other competitors in this match up. Kazarian won the match for his team with a slingshot over the top rope into a ddt. Not a bad match, although it seemed a bit short to me.

Jeff Jarrett vs Abyss No Contest

Abyss had to win this match or else lose his mask. Double J had to use the barbed wire bat at some point, or else, according to Bischoff. This match was slow and Jarrett was avoiding using the bat. Abyss wasn’t just lying down either, he was taking it right to Abyss as well. Double J refused to use the baseball bat, so he called out all the heels o beat up Abyss and Jarrett. The match ended in a dq? I guess.

Post match Bischoff came into the ring while his cronies held Abyss down. Bischoff was about to take Abyss’s mask off but out came Hulk Hogan!

Beer Money defeated The British Invasion

This match was ok at best, it showed that Beer Money is still around. I didn’t think this was a terrible match, but it wasn’t exactly a technical best. This match was pretty cool for being short…although I expected more.

Post match, The British Invasion looked like they were going to break up. Big Rob was left standing with the International Belt? I forgot what it was called.

Backstage Hulk gave Abyss a pep-talk. It was boring to me.

Kurt Angle defeated Christopher Daniels

This was a very short match, and Angle made Daniels tap out fast. I didn’t think much of the match, and they just buried Christopher Daniels.

Mr. Anderson showed up and beat Kurt Angle fast, and looks like the two will be feuding soon.

Samoa Joe was leaving the arena and was literally kidnapped. It was weird. They threw him in the back of a fan and just drove off.

Kevin Nash called out Scott Hall and Sixx Pak and security bum rushed the ring and stopped anything from going down. Hogan came out to the ramp, and just watched. The show just ended with nothing. Kind of lame.

Yoshi was getting great offense in on the Miz, but Big Show was too much for Yoshi. Once Miz tagged in the big man, things were getting really bad. Yoshi was getting worked over huge. Goldust got into the match and was hitting big on The Miz, but Big Show punched him in the stomach and dropped him, and this match was done fast.

The Abraham Washington show sucked….it was just dumb. A lot of people came through, but no one cared.

Ezekiel defeated Christian to win the ECW Championship

This match was a tribute to the classic ECW brand. The two men beat the hell out of each other with plunder and more. Zack Ryder interfered and William Regal interfered all to no avail. It was a good overall match up, for what it was.

In the end Regal helped Ezekiel win the last championship.

That’s all folks…what a stupid way to end things. Next week’s reality based show looks stupid…I can’t believe I’ll have to watch it.

TNA Against All Odds 2010 Review

The Pope D’Angelo Dinero defeated Desmond Wolfe

The Pope was impressive, but that doesn’t mean that Desmond Wolfe wasn’t on top of his game. This match was actually really good and Wolfe impressed me more than anytime I’ve seen on impact thus far. I really enjoyed how the two went back and forth to create a good overall pace. It was never too fast, never too slow, and the psychology of the moments were more along the lines of a technical masterpiece than anything else. I wish that the wrestling world was always this good. The Pope is solid, it’s amazing that WWE let this guy go, because his timing and skills are really good, and the crowd loves it. The Dinero Express was awesome, and Wolfe couldn’t overcome the powers of the Pope. The Pope advances in the 8 card stud tournament in a good overall opening to the ppv. The Pope and Wolfe both had great moments. The superplex from Wolfe was great, the Pope leap frogging Desmond and hitting a sick flying, twisting forearm was just brilliant; one of the best matches I’ve seen so far this year…yeah…I know, rare.

Ric Flair was hunting down Bischoff and tell him he had a problem with the referee for tonight’s main event.

Matt Morgan defeated Hernandez

The tag team champions had to face each other in the 8 card stud tournament, and I was surprised that management didn’t make a bigger deal about it. Then again, this isn’t wwe, and they aren’t going to split them just yet, I think. These guys do compliment each other’s style, when they are tagging I matches, but not against each other. Super Mex looked to have dislocated his shoulder on a bump to the ramp, Morgan couldn’t catch Hernandez, and this match just had botches and problems left and right. Hernandez eventually lost this match with Matt Morgan pulling the tights and putting this match out of its misery. The first match was good, this one sucked.

Mr. Anderson defeated Kurt Angle

Far from a four star match up, this one was actually quite good in a potential feud that could last a long time. Mr. Anderson was all heel in this match, and while Angle had some highlights and had Anderson reeling, Anderson never looked like he was going to lose. Angle got busted open with his own medal and after hitting an exposed corner got hit with the mic check, and lost to the rising star Mr. Anderson. It was a standard match that wasn’t half bad. I liked it for the traditional style, and Angle losing after talking such big stuff before the match was good overall.

Abyss defeated Mick Foley

Foley and Abyss barely put on a match worth mentioning. It was an extreme rules match and it was just terrible. Foley is way past his prime and really looked lethargic overall. I was tired, and Abyss wins. He was sad after the match.

The Nasty Boys defeated Team 3D

This was one poor showing. I’m not as hateful on the Nasty Boys because I’ve seen them have epic matches in NWA and WCW but this was not a young Nasty Boys. This was a terrible fat nasty Boys and a fat Team 3d. Slow moving, terrible moments, just a sad display, I was bored and hated it. This sucked. Face it, it sucked, I hope this is all over. The feud that is…man did the ppv take a nose dive. Oh and Jimmy Hart showed up to help the Nasty Boys win...same finish as when they beat the hart foundation for the titles.

The Pope D’Angelo Dinero defeated Matt Morgan

This was an interesting match that saw The Pope hitting much technical wrestling on a much bigger Matt Morgan and cutting him down to size. The Pope was like a buzz saw in this match up, he kept hitting Morgan in the legs, and moving out of the way at key points, eventually getting the win. Morgan was no slouch though, he hit some hard shots too.

Mr. Anderson defeated Abyss

Anderson has beaten Abyss before, so this rematch definitely threw some doubt in the airs as to whether or not he can advance. Anderson put on another show of talent, but we all knew he had more to give than that one back suplex that nearly injured Randy Orton. Abyss sucks right now, and while he had some shots on Anderson, Anderson won the match up. The whole “ANDERSON” thing is great in promo’s, just fyi. Abyss didn’t look like he was going to win, although it wasn’t a walk in the park for Anderson either.

Aj Styles defeated Samoa Joe

This match wasn’t half bad, Samoa Joe threw a lot of offense at Aj, and Styles still managed to hit some major hits. Joe looked like he was going to win but Flair pulled him out before he could win the match and Styles capitalized after the fact, Styles hit the Styles clash and Bischoff had no choice but to count the three, and it was all over. This wasn’t a four star classic, but it wasn’t terrible at all. Joe threw up a good effort and styles is always interesting to watch at a ppv.

Scott Hall and Six Pack attacked The Pope backstage before his match with Anderson.

The finals of the 8 card stud tournament was the main event, and it featured two of the top up and comers in TNA. It would be interesting to see who would come out on top.

The Pope D’Angelo Dinero defeated Mr. Anderson

The Pope was visibly winded and hurt after the attack and Anderson was not letting up at all. Anderson met The Pope on the ramp and was just attacking straight forward. Anderson was stunned with how much life The Pope managed to create towards the middle of the match up. This match was long and really was methodically paced. Anderson had The Pope defeated at most steps in this match up and I thought it was going to be all over several times. The crowd had the wind knocked out of their sails as Anderson hit the mic check, but when The Pope kicked out, all bets were off. Anderson hit a rolling finisher, but missed a dive off the top and The Pope Express ended this match up, and the Pope was left standing at the end of the night. Anderson was out cold.

WWE Monday Night Raw 2/15/10 Results

Sheamus defeated Randy Orton via Disqualification
MVP & Mark Henry defeated The Big Show & The Miz (non title)
Ted Dibiase defeated Kofi Kingston
Triple H vs John Cena No Contest

WWE Monday Night Raw 2/15/10 Review

I wasn’t too excited about tonight’s raw, I’m just not feeling so good. My birthday was yesterday and I had to a lot of work instead of relaxing. So tonight I’m just out of it, but I’ll give it my best shot.

Sheamus defeated Randy Orton via Disqualification

This match wasn’t all the great, and it looked like Orton was definitely rying hard to carry Sheamus. Sheamus sucks, face it. Legacy got involved, more importantly, Ted Dibiase tried to help, but got knocked out by Sheamus, and Cody Rhodes got involved and got Orton disqualified, much like the same finish at the Royal Rumble. Orton once again loses, and needs major help getting back to the title, that’s for sure.

Bret Hart cut a promo. He said he gave a good face promo, and I’m still behind Bret Hart, and I hope he kills Vince McMahon at Wrestlemania. Hart cut a promo and went backstage and said bye to everyone. Then he was ready to get into a limo, but a random car hit him off camera, and apparently his leg was stuck in the door, and he had his leg smashed in? This just doesn’t make sense, if you saw it, you were reminded of when McMahon’s limo blew up, or when he fell off the stage. With his leg messed up this means that he most liked won’t wrestle at Mania, but McMahon might get someone to represent him etc, whatever, this is stupid.

MVP & Mark Henry defeated The Big Show & The Miz

This match was your average tag team match with the big guys mixing it up, but first Mark Henry taking control of the Miz. MVP tagged in and randomly rolled up The Miz and got the quick win. This match was interesting, but nothing too crazy here. The Miz loses, and we get yet another loss from a champion with a roll up. Lame. Not a memorable match, but I’m sure it will lead to a tag title match down the road.

Up to this point Raw was boring and completely a waste of time. I’m tired. Jerry Springer did a “Show”. Kelly Kelly came out and said she was pregnant, and the father could’ve been Santino, Michael Cole or Jerry Lawler. This was so stupid…I’m so tired.

Ted Dibiase defeated Kofi Kingston

Kofi had this match won, he was giving Dibiase a beating, but out of nowhere Dibiase grabbed a hold of Kofi for Dream Street and hit it huge, and pinned Kofi, clean. An interesting match to show off Kofi’s skill, only to have him lose.

John Cena tried to talk to Batista, but Batista was on the titan tron, and that’s about it. Batista said he’d be at Raw next week. It was boring….Triple H came out.

Triple H vs John Cena No Contest

This match was going ok, but it didn’t capture my attention too much. I thought Triple H would get the win, but out came Sheamus to interrupt things and I don’t know…it was lame.

Raw sucked tonight, that’s my final thoughts…maybe I’m just tired.

I didn’t get to the comments because I had a family emergency this week, but managed to still watch wrestling. Keep the comments coming, I appreciate the support in that manner.

WWE Friday Night Smackdown 2/13/10 Results

Rey Mysterio defeated CM Punk
Drew McIntyre defeated Kane
Layla & Michelle McCool defeated Mickie James
The Great Khali & Matt Hardy defeated the Hart Dynasty
R Truth defeated John Morrison due to injury
Chris Jericho defeated The Undertaker

WWE Friday Night Smackdown 2/13/10 Review

Rey Mysterio defeated CM Punk

A three star match if ever there was one on Smackdown. The crowd recognized it with praise for the near falls, and oohs and ahhs that are expected when dealing with these types of matches. Mysterio fought off the straightedge superstar for most of the match, but Punk was ready with counters for Mysterio’s extreme offense. The two went through some great points, and even the ending was good overall. Punk was ready to do the GTS but Mysterio managed to reverse it into a pinning combination and got the wind.

Post match Luke Gallows went to work on Mysterio laying him out with ease.

Drew McIntyre defeated Kane

Kane was up ahead in this match first, but after the commercial break Drew McIntyre had this match in the bag. He was fighting Kane like a stronger wrestler, that’s for sure. Kane get getting close to hitting the Chokeslam, but Drew kept powering out. The two landed on the outside and it looked like Kane was injured legit, but the two fought trying to get back in, but ended up brawling too long on the outside and this match ended in a double count out. Kane eventually got knocked down, and McIntyre treated Kane like a little punk. This match sucked, the crowd died, and Kane looked weak, even if he did eventually get the chokeslam.

Mickie James vs Layla

The two started a good back and forth start, but were interrupted by Vickie Guerrero. Backstage they covered her in cottage cheese. Guerrero turned this match into a handicap match…and Michelle McCool was added to the match up, even though McCool didn’t have ring gear on.

The match turned into a handicap match up.

Layla & Michelle McCool defeated Mickie James

This was definitely not going well for the champion, but she was fighting back both girls, giving it her best shot. McCool eventually got the win, and James was down again.

Batista came down to talk about why he did what he did, and wasted a lot of time. He never said a word.

The Great Khali & Matt Hardy defeated the Hart Dynasty

This was a non match, nothing big happened, and it was all just Hardy and Khali in a cluster finish and terrible match. Oh well.

R Truth defeated John Morrison due to injury

John Morrison landed wrong on his leg, and they stopped the match and awarded it to R Truth.

Edge came out and cut a promo, then Chris Jericho interrupted him and told him to stay away from him. It was boring…although it’s setting up Jericho vs Edge at Mania, that’s for sure.

Chris Jericho defeated The Undertaker

Chris Jericho and Undertaker were having one heck of a battle for free television and I liked it. Jericho and Taker really put on a quality effort in a short amount of time. Edge got involved, and the match continued, Undertaker got hit hard with a spear than a Code Breaker and he might be the next champion! I liked the finish, and I thought Undertaker was legit surprised. Great stuff here, I have no complaints.

Tna Impact 2/11/10 Results

The Pope D’Angelo Dinero defeated Orlando Jordan
Matt Morgan defeated Suicide
Brutus Magnus defeated The Amazing Red
The Beautiful People defeated Tara & Angelina Love
Kennedy & Kurt Angle defeated Desmond Wolfe & Hernandez

Tna Impact 2/11/10 Review

Man this show was so lame to start. I heard there were no matches set for the ppv this weekend, and people just talking bad about TNA, rightfully so, the show opened up with Hulk Hogan going to the ring. Erik Young came down to interrupt Hogan, and said he wanted a shot at the “band”. Hogan said to find them outside, and what not…it was a boring promo.

The eight card stud tournament qualifier match was next to come through.

The Pope D’Angelo Dinero defeated Orlando Jordan

This match wasn’t a classic masterpiece, but it had some good moments. The fans completely hate Jordan, that’s right. It’s a good thing, and I think that’s important for Jordan. He’s getting so much heat it’s great. The Pope, is a solid wrestler and put on a show, although a little light tonight. Orlando Jordan didn’t stink up the arena and did play it up against the Pope, the finale was ok, this match was good enough to keep me looking, that’s for sure.

Double J got the shaft with Bishoff, looks like he’s getting totally screwed on television.

Matt Morgan defeated Suicide

Looks like the Suicide angle is all over. He got killed in this match. Morgan looked strong and just blew through all Suicide’s attempts at offense. Morgan moves on in the tournament. This was a glorified jobber match to say the least.

Backstage Angle and Anderson, were interviewed by the biggest forehead in wrestling right now, and it wasn’t anything too special. A random microphone came down and Anderson said ANDERSON!

Brutus Magnus defeated The Amazing Red

The Amazing Red did almost everything possible to fight off Brutus, but just couldn’t put him away. Magnus won with a nice northern lights suplex. Red did some great counters, and hit fast and hard, but it wasn’t meant to be.

The Beautiful People defeated Tara & Angelina Love

This match wasn’t all that great, it had a lot of moments where the Beautiful People were just not that good at wrestling. They seemed scared, and were playing up the “divas” type of wrestling and maybe that’s what they were going for, but it made for terrible wrestling matches. This match was a cluster at the end, but The Beautiful People got the win, again. Not terrible, but not good. Lame.

Kennedy & Kurt Angle defeated Desmond Wolfe & Hernandez

Kurt Angle was trying his best to win this match basically all alone. He was taking control of this match until out of a mistake Desmond Wolfe was able to reverse things. Angle was getting worked over, and refused to tag Anderson. Anderson got a tag then threw Angle out of the ring, and won the match for the team! Angle looked pissed and Anderson basically looked strong! I hope Anderson wins this weekend.

Samoa Joe cut a promo and Aj Styles came down with Nature Boy. Samoa Joe unloaded against Aj Styles, and with the help of Ric Flair the two took out Joe.

The Band beat up Kurt Angle with Brass Knuckles. Hogan came out to the ring after the band beat up Kurt, and got inside the ring!

Hulk laid out Sixx and Scott Hall with Brass Knuckles.

Final Thoughts

Tna sucks.

I hate it.

There’s no change.

Yoshi Tatsu & Goldust defeated Trent Berretta and Croft
Ezekiel Jackson defeated Perry Wallace
Shelton Benjamin defeated Vance Archer in a falls count anywhere match

Ecw on SyFy 2/8/10 Review

The show opened up with Tiffany talking about how the roster will be split up by getting drafted to different shows.

Yoshi Tatsu & Goldust defeated Trent Berretta and Croft

This match was given some time and the most impressive guy was definitely Yoshi. He has some great wrestling timing, and he put on a good show. I don’t think his kicks look amazing, nor did his pin really look too legit, but I liked it as something important to check out. Apparently they are going to get a shot at the tag team championship! That’ll be interesting to see. Croft and Berretta (however you spell it) suck.

Ezekiel Jackson defeated Perry Wallace

This was just a jobber match. Ezekiel rolled through some random idiot. There wasn’t much to talk about here.

Shelton Benjamin cut a lame promo. He still doesn’t have mic skills, after all these years.

Shelton Benjamin defeated Vance Archer in a falls count anywhere match

This match wasn’t terrible by any stretch of the word. The two really put on a good heavy hitting match up. Shelton was busted open the hard way, and Archer seemed strong when using the outside to his advantage. Benjamin fought back and was able to slay the newcomer after a hard fought battle.

Final Thoughts

What can I say, I seemed to be counting down the days until this show is done…it kind of sucks…just sayin.

WWE Monday Night Raw 2/8/10 Results

Sheamus defeated Christian
The Miz & The Big Show defeated Degeneration X and Cm Punk & Luke Gallows in an elimination style triple threat match for the unified tag team titles
Gail Kim defeated Jillian
Cody Rhodes defeated Randy Orton

WWE Monday Night Raw 2/8/10 Review

Here we go another Monday Night Raw! We’ve been waiting for this one, with an elimination triple threat match for the tag titles being one of the big advertised matches tonight, which will be great…right? We’ll see.

Carl Edwards was the guest host tonight, and I don’t know who he is, other than a Nascar guy. Edwards was interrupted by Sheamus, and after Sheamus was ragging on the new host, out came none other than CHRISTIAN! He came out to a lukewarm reception, and it looked like Sheamus was going to kick his head off.

Sheamus defeated Christian

Sheamus started this match really strong, but Christian wasn’t laying down. He took it to Sheamus, and the two exchanged rights and lefts, and I was marking out for this match up. Christian threw everything he had at Sheamus and I thought it was all over, but nope, Sheamus managed to kick Christian’s head off, then hit the Razors edge…or whatever they call it, and pinned Christian clean. I don’t think Christian was completely buried, but this should’ve been a win for Christian in my book.

The Miz & The Big Show defeated Degeneration X and Cm Punk & Luke Gallows in an elimination style triple threat match for the unified tag team titles

This match was given a good amount of time. Punk was cleaning house and really hitting HBK with some big moves. Triple H was clearing out the outside of the ring, and this match had some good overall moments. I thought Punk and Gallows were due for a big win, but Shawn Micheals nearly killed Punk with a Superkick, getting the Straightedge society eliminated from this elimination style triple threat match. I liked the way this match went, lots of good spots, plenty of time, and then a slowed down pace towards the end with Big Show showing off his weight and size against a much smaller HBK. HBK was getting worn out and tagged in Triple H at random, and was stunned when The Miz rolled him up and got the quick three count, garnering the new tag team as champions! Yep, The Miz and Big Show are now the unified tag team champions!

HBK begged Theodore Long to trade him to Smackdown. He was begging to get in on the Elimination Chamber. HBK knocked out Theodore Long with a Super Kick then walked away, his career (he said) is over.

Gail Kim defeated Jillian

Not much of a match here, in fact it bored me, but before I could yawn Gail Kim won. They should just scrap the divas title completely.

Cody Rhodes defeated Randy Orton

This is a shocker of some sort. Cody Rhodes was getting beat up in this one, but Sheamus interrupted the match for a second, and Orton got hit with Crossroads and lost cleanly. Not a great match, but it was interesting to see Rhodes get a win over Orton, that’s for sure.

John Cena came out and buried Ted Dibiase Jr. There was no major match or anything he just beat the crap out of Dibiase and that was it. Then he cut a promo against Batista and how he wants to fight him tonight. Vince McMahon came down at Cena’s request and McMahon cut a promo.

John Cena said that Bret Hart wants a match at wrestlemania with Vince McMahon! McMahon says YES! John Cena walked away though. McMahon said yes and then playd last weeks finale to Raw. Bret Hart came out of the crowd and was beating the crap out of a random guy, then beat the crap out of Vince McMahon, and wants a shot at Mcmahon!

McMahon then said he didn’t want Bret at Wrestlemania, and ran away like a chump.

Hart then started to dismantle the Raw set!

Final Thoughts

This raw had some good wrestling. Not a lot of it, but it had some good stuff towards the middle of the show. I was hoping the Straightedge society would capture the gold, but that’s ok.

Hart and McMahon to happen at wrestlemania? I SAY YES!

That’s all. I won’t have a Superstars review because I lost my satellite free promotion. So now I have to settle for the regular shows…it was good for a week.

WWE Friday Night Smackdown 2/510 Results

John Morrison defeated Kane & Drew McIntyre in a triple threat match
R Truth defeated Mike Knox
Cm Punk defeated Batista via countout
Chris Jericho defeated Matt Hardy
Mickie James & Beth Phoenix defeated Layla & Michelle McCool
Rey Mysterio defeated Dolph Ziggler

WWE Friday Night Smackdown 2/5/10 Review

The Show opened up with Chris Jericho talking about how he didn’t win the Royal Rumble. Jericho went backstage looking for Theodore Long but only ended up running into Edge. The two exchanged words and that was the end of that.

John Morrison defeated Kane & Drew McIntyre in a triple threat match

This match qualified Morrison into the elimination chamber, and it was not half bad. This match was entertaining although felt a little short. Kane looked to be the weakest link in this one as he was losing early on and McIntyre nearly pinned him after his finisher. Morrison hit Starship pain and this thing was done. Not a terrible match, but not a four star classic either.

R Truth defeated Mike Knox

Truth went right through Mike Knox with ease. He basically tore him apart, Knox barely got any offense in and Truth is going to the Elimination Chamber match without even breaking a sweat. Mike Knox has to be on his way out now.

Cm Punk defeated Batista via countout

Batista simply walked out, he didn’t even throw a punch. Punk advances to the elimination chamber.

Chris Jericho defeated Matt Hardy

This was a good short match with Chris Jericho going over Matt Hardy. I don’t remember much about it other than that fact that it was quite good in terms of reversals. I didn’t hate the match up at all, but I feel Hardy hasn’t been that relevant in a while.

Mickie James started to cut a promo and was interrupted by Beth Phoenix, but both of them were interrupted by none other than Vickie Guerrero, only to set up a new match, which I wasn’t really into.

Mickie James & Beth Phoenix defeated Layla & Michelle McCool

I’m not 100% sure where this match was going but it was fast and didn’t have a lot of action. Phoenix turned on Mickie James and Mickie still managed to win. No one cares about the divas.

Rey Mysterio defeated Dolph Ziggler

The final qualifying match for the elimination chamber really set up a good match in theory. I still say the best match of 2009 was Dolph Ziggler vs Rey Myterio for the Intercontinental championship, even though no one cares about that match. This match didn’t live up to that one, but it was still a good match for Smackdown. Ziggler is probably one of the more underated guys in the mid card, I really like his future if the WWE doesn’t misuse him at all. Mysterio looked to be getting stretched in this match, but was able to counter Zigglers overall style. Eventually Mysterio picked up the win and the chance to fight in the elimination chamber.

Edge started his show “The Cutting Edge” and out came Chris Jericho. The two went at it verbally and the two weren’t half bad together. Punk interrupted them then The Undertaker showed up…overall not a great ending.

Final Thoughts

This night was a mixed bag of different things. It was ok at best, and I wasn’t too into the show. Maybe I was just tired. Tired of being broke. On a personal note I went over draft on my account…man it sucks not to have a job.

Katie Lea & Alicia Fox defeated Kelly Kelly & Eve Torres
Evan Bourne defeated Carlito
John Morrison, The Great Khali & Matt Hardy defeated The Hart Dynasty & Drew McIntyre

WWE Superstars 2/4/10 Review

Katie Lea & Alicia Fox defeated Kelly Kelly & Eve Torres

This match was given a little bit of time, but the best wrestlers weren’t really in there long. These girls tried to put on a show and while there are some moments when you begin to think that these women are good, they clumsily go through a match and just rush to the finish. It wasn’t the worst divas match but it was far from great, that’s for sure.

Evan Bourne defeated Carlito

Wow, these guys don’t really get much of a shot on Raw each Monday but they are here putting on a show. Carlito is still good, he hasn’t gotten pushed but he still has skills. This match was insane, Bourne nearly killed Carlito at times. This was an amazing match that had people cheering like crazy. Bourne nearly killed Carlito with a top rope powerbomb and his 450 Splash. Back and forth these two put on a ppv quality match and it was a surprise for me to watch. These guys can work and it’s a real shame they aren’t on better shows doing more with their talent. This thing was awesome, I was marking out huge for a change.

John Morrison, The Great Khali & Matt Hardy defeated The Hart Dynasty & Drew McIntyre

Your standard six man tag match, I feel like I’ve already seen this one on Smackdown. Nothing too crazy happened, but it was fun to watch these guys work. They do well in these types of matches and it didn’t completely bore me. The crowd was dead for a lot of this match, showing just how many times we've seen this type of match if not this exact match up before. Hardy hit the Twist of Fate then tagged in khali, and DH SMITH went for the Punjabi Plunge and the match was over just like that.

Final Thoughts

This is a good overall wrestling show. They had at least one 4 star match, or at least 3 stars. I enjoyed the bulk of this show and am glad I can finally see it. I look forward to more wwe supserstars.

TNA Impact 2/4/10 Results and Review More of the Same

TNA Impact 2/4/10 Results

Mr. Anderson defeated Brutus Magnus
Hernandez & Matt Morgan defeated Team 3D
Samoa Joe defeated Jesse Neal
The Pope D’Angelo Dinero defeated AJ styles
Kurt Angle defeated Tomko
Tara defeated Angelina Love
Kevin Nash defeated Mick Foley

TNA Impact 2/4/10 Review

The night opened up with recaps and that lame rap rock song.

Mr. Anderson defeated Brutus Magnus

I think he beat Brutus, I don’t remember. This match wasn’t that great, it had your standard Anderson moves, and a quick win overall gets him into the eight card stud tournament for a shot at the title. Anderson is good as a cocky heel, he’s always been. He just needs to work with someone that will help him get over even more.

Mick Foley tried to quit after a long promo with Eric Bischoff but instead he got thrown into a match for later tonight with Kevin Nash, no holds barred. Whatever.

Hernandez & Matt Morgan defeated Team 3D

This match was for the tag team titles and it wasn’t much to write home about. The match was slow paced and Team 3D just seemed to be phoning it in. The Nasty Boys interfered costing 3D the match. Hernandez and Morgan win again, in this match, it wasn’t that good…face it.

Samoa Joe defeated Jesse Neal

Jesse Neal had a few shots, but not much. Samoa Joe finally shows up and wins a match in the Hogan area. This sucked, it was just a jobber match.

The Pope D’Angelo Dinero defeated AJ styles

A very interesting match, with lots of offense from The Pope which was odd. You don’t usually see this much good offense on a champion, especially in the middle of a night of wrestling. Styles seemed slow and sloppy, but Dinero was looking great this time around. The Pope had an answer for Styles at every turn and eventually got a win, though it was a small package win…again, Pope gets a win. Post match, Ric Flair got involved and fought The Pope. Samoa Joe came in for the save, and The Pope and Joe were taking it to the Nature Boy and Styles, only to get interrupted by security, and cutting to commercial. Not a bad match, I like the Pope.

Post match, Samoa Joe challenged Styles to a world title match at the next ppv.

Kurt Angle defeated Tomko

Kurt Angle rolled straight through Tomko. This wasn’t even a match, and Tomko looked fat and bored. Angle hit Tomko with a ton of offense, and just kept hitting hard suplexes, eventually picking up the win.

Tara defeated Angelina Love

This match wasn’t that great, but the most important part was that Tara’s boobs fell out of her bra! Yeah that’s important to note overall, because the cameras were trying to blur things, but she was showing a lot at one point! The match was your standard fare with a quick pin for the ending. I didn’t think it was that great, but they did what they could, I guess.

Kevin Nash defeated Mick Foley

Kevin Nash brought weapons into the ring for this match, and it started at around 7:56 pm. Foley was swinging a barbed wire bat at Nash. Nash hit the weakest hockey stick shot to the sins, and then Nash used the Barbed Wire match on Foley. Nash hit Foley with a big kick and that was it…one of the worst matches on TNA ever!

Post match Scott Hall and Sixx Pack fought Kevin Nash. It’s called a Swerve folks, but does anyone even care? Screw this crap, this sucks!

Final Thoughts: TNA sucks.

They are back where they started. They were talking about how they wanted to raise the younger guys up and stuff, and what do we get here? The main event is two guys way out of their prime! The main story line at the main event level IS NOT THE YOUNG GUYS!

This night of TNA sucked, but at least I kind of saw Tara’s boobs…kind of. I guess I’m just a sicko.

From The Mailbag 2/4/10 Edition

We're back after another seven days from the last time. I've been lucky enough to sign up for satellite television for a lower rate, to get the ball rolling on this site, and well, I'm still broke. I have no job, and am struggling...and yet no one buys anything.

Whatever...let's talk wrestling! Or should I say WRASTLING like the classic briscoe brothers would have said.

MC said in regards to this week's Monday Night Raw:

The things that caught my attention in Shawn Michaels post-match meltdown was he was tearing the DX stuff off his body.

Looks like Michaels vs. Hunter redux may be coming sooner rather than later.

If HBK fights HHH I'm going to be mad. I don't want to see them fight ever again. Shawn's break down was good and tearing DX apart means Hornswoggle's out of a job. We'll have to wait and see where it goes.

dag8ownar said in regards to this week's Monday Night Raw:

Hopefully we won't be getting a Shawn vs Hunter feud again. Please no ...

I marked out loud during the last segment. That's how every feud should start. I'm tired of watching weak angles. Heel wrestlers look terribly weak nowadays and that's why i liked what Batista and Vince did to Bret last night.

I'm also looking forward for an Edge vs Jericho feud. Chris is badass as a heel and Edge is sick in his own awesome way. They would do great, i'm sure. And what's so freaking good about Sheamus (or whatever is spelled)?. Last time i checked he was squashing jobbers on ECW, i simply don't get it ...

I'm with you, I hate the idea of HHH vs HBK. The last segment, yes, I marked out huge too, I thought McMahon got hit hard. Vince got a black eye after the segment, and I swear Hart took a hard shot on his face. That being said, Batista also gave Hart a hard shot in the shoulder and jaw. It might have been bad enough to not warrant a Batista bomb.

Edge vs Jericho? I hope so. However, let me let you guys in on an interesting note:

For the house show coming near me they are advertising Chris Jericho vs Rey Mysterio in a match for the #1 contender shot at Wrestlemania.

So I'm not so sure Jericho will even be champion. We'll see.

Anonymous said in regards to last week's TNA Impact:

What the hell happened to jeff hardy? Are they seriously just dropping that or is he taking a break or what?

The whole TNA universe is asking the same thing. What the hell? I don't know. No one's talking about him so I guess that's the end of that.

I want to thank each and everyone of you that commented, thank you very much. Keep the comments coming, email me, chat with me on aim and let's keep on talking wrestling. I'll have my first ever Superstars review up tomorrow, Smackdown review this weekend and so on and so forth.

If you have any money please donate or buy something. I could use the help.

ECW on SyFy 2/2/10 Results and Review Post Royal Rumble

ECW on SyFy 2/2/10 Results

Vance Archer defeated Shelton Benjamin
Yoshi Tatsu defeated Trent Barreta
Christian vs Zack Ryder (no contest)

ECW on SyFy 2/2/10 Review

The Abraham Washington show started things off, and it was not that great. The crowd was booing all over this too.

Vance Archer defeated Shelton Benjamin

There’s no way of telling how good these guys are without getting tested. Well here was a good test, and both wrestlers put on a good overall match. It had a bit of everything for all walks of fans. This match ended with Archer stealing a win, but not without getting hit hard with Shelton Benjamin’s high flying offense. Archer stole it with a roll up and putting his feet on the ropes.

Yoshi Tatsu defeated Trent Barreta

This match wasn’t all that great, it was fast and just had Yoshi Tatsu winning another match. The crowd is getting a little more behind him and with Goldust by his side things could be bright for him in the future. The match was nothing major to write about, it had its moments, but nothing too crazy.

Vince McMahon came out and said that ECW will go off the air in 3 weeks! It’s the end of ECW on SyFy. McMahon said a new show will replace it. Dang…Ecw is dead.

Gregory Helms was going to interview Ezekiel Jackson, but instead got beat up by Regal and Jackson. Lame segment, obviously punishing Helms for getting arrested. There was a sick shot in there, looked real to me. Christian came down with a kendo stick to save the day.

Christian vs Zack Ryder (no contest)

This match was actually not half bad, but it managed to lose steam when Ezekiel Jackson interfered and beat up Christian. I didn’t really like this match’s ending but it was a nice preview of what maybe to come…if there’s even an ECW title.

WWE Monday Night Raw 2/1/10 Results and Review Fallout From The Rumble

WWE Monday Night Raw 2/1/10 Results

John Cena defeated Cody Rhodes
Triple H defeated Jack Swagger
Randy Orton defeated Shawn Micheals
Ted Dibiase defeated Mark Henry
Kofi Kingston defeated The Big Show via dq

WWE Monday Night Raw 2/1/10 Review

Edge cut a promo, announcing his return, opening up Raw. Sheamus came down to the ring and cut a promo against Edge, getting booed in the process. Sheamus told Edge to get out and run to Smackdown, and when Edge didn’t back down he got hit in the face with the mic and the two started to Brawl! Edge looked fine to me, even if he’s not 100%

He ran right through Sheamus with a spear, and the crowd went nuts. Sheamus is the weakest champion ever…and the whitest! Ziing!

John Cena defeated Cody Rhodes

Cody Rhodes didn’t have much offense for John Cena to react to. This elimination chamber qualifying match was really on rails. Cena rolled through Rhodes as if he was a no name jobber. Cena didn’t even break a sweat on his victory, defeating Rhodes like a chump. Rhodes is on his way out, that’s my two cents.

Backstage Vince McMahon was “barged in on” by none other than William Shatner, the guest host.

My wife said it right, “There’s no way he’s going to beat Triple H”.

Who was she talking about?

Jack effin Swagger! Are you serious WWE? You’re going to Bury this guy right?

Triple H defeated Jack Swagger

The All American American was about to get pwned, that’s all I could think about. Jack Swagger kept going after Triple H, regardless of being the under dog. I didn’t think that Triple H would let so much offense get in, but Swagger was getting some good shots at Triple H. Swagger got close at times, but not TOO close and that’s how Triple H likes to keep the roster down. Swagger gets thrown away, and that’s the end of that. Triple H will join Cena in a in the elimination chamber.

Randy Orton defeated Shawn Micheals

Shawn Micheals and Randy Orton really managed to put together a fluid match, although it started a little slow for my tastes. Orton really pushed things through quite well especially when it seemed like HBK had this thing sewn up. Orton didn’t hit the RKO although it seemed like he had it ready to fire, but HBK got shocked with a roll up and lost it.

Post match, HBK was obviously frustrated and he ooked like he was on his way to a meltdown of sorts.

Ted Dibiase defeated Mark Henry

Dibiase somehow managed to get a win on this one. Mark Henry didn’t really have much of a match up, as Dibiase worked on an arm overall and just won a somewhat boring match. Dibiase will go into the chamber with Orton and the rest of the roster that holds down the rest. Henry’s got to be on his way out.

Backstage there’s a lot of stuff going on, more than I want to comment about. Punk & Gallows are going to get a shot at the titles sooner than later. Miz and Big Show are turning into a tag team now? HBK looks like he lost his smile again.

Kofi Kingston defeated The Big Show via dq

This match ended in a dq finish after Big Show accidentally punched a ref out. Kofi had no chance of winning this one, even though he got some good offense in. The Big Show was upset, but he lost and that was that. The ref might have been legit out, I don’t know.

Vince McMahon and Bret Hart stood face to face yet again. McMahon was really pushing the buttons, and the fans were eating it up hook line and sinker.

Bret Hart really got made this time and punched the crap out McMahon and for once I thought it was real…yeah call me dumb, but man McMahon took some sick shots. Then right when McMahon was going to get into the Sharpshooter, Batista ran down and beat the snot out of Bret Hart! That’s right, Batista beat the snot out of Bret Hart!

McMahon got up and spit in the face of Hart! I kid you not, he spit in the face…no one came to save the day and Batista was holding a beaten Bret Hart. The show ended with Hart in pain, Batista holding him and a Cena chant going strong.

Final thoughts:

Batista can not be a bigger heel right now. McMahon cannot be a bigger heel either. Bret Hart better have a massive comeback, with some hard shots against McMahon at Mania.

The rest of the show? It seemed rushed and not very memorable. Way to bury the younger talent Triple H.
