WWE Monday Night Raw September 24, 2018 Results and Review Brie Triggers For Everyone

The Shield Buries AOP - SOURCE WWE
And away we go! Another night of Raw, and this time it opens with a limo pulling in, and Baron Corbin. Is this 1999 Monday Night Nitro? Stephanie McMahon comes out and Corbin starts to sing to her. Then out comes Triple H, and Corbin stops. Triple H then leaves, and Stephanie runs down Corbin a bit.

The Shield come out and guess what? They start talking! Roman says something that is true, “These belts will change your life”, yeah, they’ll make you mean spirited celebrities that won’t take a picture with children at a store. These guys can go suck a lemon, they are entitled, pricks if you ask me. I hate opening raw with talking. So I’m going to put on some headphones.

Out came a trio of heels, and they talked and talked, I’m so sick of these talking starts.

Finn Balor defeated Jinder Mahal

Not really a fun match. It was exactly what you would think of this match. Mahal loses, and one of the Singh brothers got beat up after the match, as well as a beat down from Bayley as well. I guess that is the end of Mahal and the Singh brothers.

The Riott Squad defeated The Bellas and Natalya

This was a short match, and the news coming from it is that Brie botched a few spots and knocked out Liv Morgan at one point. Then she knocked the crap out of Ruby Riott. The match would eventually get a finish, but it was rushed after Morgan was knocked out, and she was visibly concussed on the side of the ring. The Bellas suck, let’s not sugar coat it, they are not worth their pay scale at all, and they are being force fed to an audience that deserves better. I have never been a fan, and am still not a fan, especially after seeing Brie completely knock out someone in the ring and then drag her around instead of having her friends help her out. Lame. This was a stupid match.

Conor’s Cure Promo

I have nothing to say about this.

Connor defeated Chad Gable

One of the Ascension beat Gable, meh. This was dumb.

Dolph Ziggler and Dre McIntyre defeated The Revival

This was a fine match, with The Revival getting in a lot of offense, but it was all but forgotten when Drew and Dolph would get a comeback and drop the two with some stellar high powered offense. This wasn’t a bad match, mind you, the Revival didn’t roll over and die, they simply caught a beat down and was definitely working towards a win, but of course, the WWE isn’t going to do that at all. They never do. So in the end, the bad guys win, The Revival goes back on the shelf, and we continue to another segment on Raw.

Lashley defeated Elias via DQ

Meh. This match was ok, the story was more about Lio Rush about to get a beat down, but Lashley came in to safe the day. This is no doubt leading a tag team match, I’m sure.

Nia Jax defeated Alicia Fox

Short match with NIa Jax stomping out Fox.

The Shield defeated The Authors of Pain and Baron Corbin

Well, there you go. Did you expect another result from the pricks in the Shield? These guys suck, and hate kids. Entitled pieces of crap, I can’t stand the booking of Raw, and once again, they win. These guys suck. I’m over it. You can’t build up anyone if all you do is win and win, or can you? I’m going to just keep booing as per usual. Of course the story is whether or not Dean Ambrose is going to turn on the Shield. I doubt it. But it’s a nice little story they are building. Whatever the case is, I’m tired and Raw was not great. They were missing a TON of people, so meh. Just meh.

WWE Smackdown Live September 18, 2018 Results and Review Still The B Show Today

Rusev Day is Done - Source WWE
The show begins with talking. The Miz starts with MIz TV and ugh, so tired of talking on WWE shows.

The Miz called out Daniel Bryan and that forced Bryan to run down and beat up the MIz, only to have him hit Miz and drive him into Maryse. This thing just became a blood feud, which is an interesting element overall. This little focus was interesting, and Bryan seemed to be saddened by how this worked out. This thing got emotional, and Maryse did a stretcher job….nope, she was playing possum and The Miz attacked only to knock Maryse off the apron, and then Bryan knocking Miz out of the ring to the crowd going all out.

Cesaro defeated Kofi Kingston

A great back and forth match, with a lot of action, and good overall flow, we got Cesaro showing off just how good of a wrestler he can be. Kofi is great too, and he threw down some great moments, as he got the L on this one. This could very well be the best match in the WWE this week, so I had fun watching it go down. Cesaro is a beast, yo, a true beast.

Shinsuke Nakamura defeated Rusev

A distraction roll up ends a match that was actually pretty good. But since it ended with a distraction roll up and this is the end of RUSEV day, I give up. I’m just going to throw papers in the air and give up. Aiden English after the fact just starts beating up Rusev, why? I don’t get it. This is stupid. Meh. Meh!

Aj Styles defeated Andrade Cien Almas

Almas should have won this match. He was fresh, he didn’t have a match Sunday, and he was just a better wrestler here, as Aj Styles sold his injuries from the match he had on Sunday. While he did a great deal of selling, Almas didn’t get run over, but the match didn’t go the way I would’ve booked it. Almas did put on a great deal of offense, so it wasn’t like this match sucked, but it definitely seemed to be telegraphed to get Aj Styles a strong win again. Styles did great here, and Almas gave him a good match too, but it should’ve gone the way of Almas.

After the match, Samoa Joe attacked and beat up Styles and that was that, well, not really, the two would brawl.

Asuka defeated One of the Iconics

I should learn their name. But when you give me a minute or 2 minute match, you don’t give me much time to learn or care about any team. Asuka wins, in a joke of a match.

Becky Lynch Coronation

This ended in a brawl between Flair and Lynch. It was ok. It’s lame that the only story lines that the WWE can come up with is friends turning on one another out of jealousy etc.

Smackdown left A LOT of talent off the show, and well, that makes it the B show yet again. No R Truth, no Sanity, no Tye Dillinger, and no lots of people on the roster.

WWE Monday Night Raw September 17, 2018 Results and Review More BS

Everyone Sucks - Source WWE
Live from Dallas Texas, we get to the A show, and it starts with Roman Reigns and the people of Raw booing. I would boo too. Heck, I’d boo the woo.

Of course, we start with talking. I’m so tired of this BS. The show opened and Braun Strowman with Roman Reigns were thrown into a Triple Threat Match for the Universal Title at the Crown Jewel show in Saudi Arabia, which doesn’t happen until November. This was stupid. Paul Heyman came out and talked, and honestly, this was too much talking for me.

Drew McIntyre defeated Dean Ambrose

Ambrose threw down a lot of his offense against Drew, but it wasn’t enough. The finishing kick really hit Ambrose square, and that was that. Dean pulled out a few good moves, including a nice Texas Cloverleaf, but Drew McIntyre, the chosen one, comes back and wins big after Ambrose misses a double axe handle smash. A good opening match, and well, Ambrose loses clean. A burial? Na, but I guess I can call it that, why not? Dean Ambrose is buried now.

Chad Gable defeated Random Dude From Ascension

I”m done. I’m so done. This is so stupid. Gable is great though, so I guess that’s cool. The Ascension will end up facing off against Bobby Roode and Chad Gable, I’m sure. Anyway, this was a boring match with Gable going over with ease.

Undertaker came out and talked.

I don’t want to see The Undertaker doing limericks in the ring. Boring.

Bayley defeated Dana Brooke

Well, I didn’t think Dana would win, even though I think she’s awesome. She’s underrated, but it was Bayley here that would get the win, and that was that. It was good, but not great. Bayley and Sasha Banks seem like afterthoughts these days, if you ask me.

The Authors of Pain defeated Jobbers

Meh.

Seth Rollins defeated Dolph Ziggler

Not a terrible match, but I’ve already seen these guys wrestle a million times, so meh, it was an ok television match, but it wasn’t their best work, as they’ve wrestled many times before.

Ronda Rousey Open Challenge

So Ronda was going to fight Natalya for an open challenge, but the Riott Squad came out and started to beat up Ronda, and the numbers game caught up with her. She held her own for a little while, but she got a beat down until she got saved by The Bella Twins. Ugh. I hate The Bellas. Things turned around and then the Riott Squad caught beat downs overall.

Lashley vs Elias Went To A No Contest

Lashley and Lio Rush are now friends and manager etc. The match other than this new union was ok, it was unexpected, and a little fun for sure.

Nia Jax and Ember Moon defeated Mickie James and Alicia Fox

Another quick match, and a fast ending. I guess that was that? Meh. Just meh. Nothing to see here.

Roman Reigns defeated Baron Corbin via DQ

This match was back and forth, and after some time, Corbin threw a chair at Roman and the ref disqualified him. After this, Baron ordered the match restarted as a no disqualification match.

Roman Reigns defeated Baron Corbin

Of course. The shield came out, the War Dogs or whatever came out, and well, there was a brawl, there was superman punches, and the Big Dog would win again. Meh.

This night of Raw was nothing short of an elaborate prank, right? Nothing from the night before was really answered to satisfaction, but hey, that’s WWE for you. Ugh. So tired of this company.

WCW Sin 2001 Review

WCW Sin 2001 PPV
Live From Indianapolis Indiana, where I am writing this today, we are going to look into the biggest events of WCW for 2001, since they were on their way out, and well, I wanted to review things overall. Let’s get into the action, and see how it all went down. WCW 2001, with all sorts of talent.

Chavo Guerrero Jr defeated Shane Helms in the WCW Cruiserweight Championship Match

This was a good opening match, featuring Chavo doing a lot more fast action, high flying work than he would do in WWE. Shane Helms was great here too, and as part of 3-Count, he really did well with fighting through a lot of different focused hits. There was some good back and forth here of course.

Reno defeated Big Vito

This was a good big man match. Lots of power moves, lots of back and forth, and in the end Reno go the win. It wasn’t a terrible match, but it was definitely one that was mostly a matter of big men, throwing big shots, and power moves. Fun for what it was.

The Jung Dragons defeated Evan Karagias and Jamie Noble

Man, this was fast, and quite fun to watch as well. It featured the young cruiserweight from the WCW call ups and it was fun to watch them go back and forth throughout the match. This was under 10 minutes, but it was fun to watch and the two threw out a lot of high spots, and classic small guy moves.

Team Canada defeated The Filthy Animals in a Penalty Box Match with Jim Duggan as a Ref

This was so much fun to watch, and I loved the concept of the Penalty Box, with Duggan calling it all down the middle. The guys really proved to be good workers, and I was even impressed with Konnan’s work here. Kidman and Mysterio were flying around the ring with Storm and Skipper, and Mike Awesome is a gem with this team. Major Gunns looked good, and I’m sure she’s as cold as ever since I recall hugging her in an XPW show.

Meng defeated Crowbar and Terry Funk in the WCW Hardcore Championship Match

This went immediately to the back and there was a lot of back and forth action here. It was a good match, with some great momentum here and there. I didn’t hate it, mind you, I thought that the guys put on an ok match with Funk throwing down some great shots against Meng and Crowbar for that matter. Meng would get the win, and took a lot of chair shots to the head, which were cringe worthy.

Chuck Palumbo and Sean O’Haire defeated The Insiders in the WWE tag Team Match

This was a hard hitting match and was impressive if you ask me. Palumbo and O’Haire were good here and DDP was fighting like he had something to prove. Page and Nash worked well together, and the crowd was incredibly hot for this. The crowd was going nuts for each iteration of this match. I must also say that Tony Schiavone was great here with some great calls. When Kevin Nash got the hot tag, he took out both competitors, but out of the blue came out Buff Bagwell and Lex Luger, which prompted the new guys to win the tag team titles. Buff came in dressed up and had a pipe! This got a lot of heat, and it was a great match even if it ended with cheating. The crowd went nuts booing.

Shane Douglas defeated General E Rection for the US Championship in a Chain Match

This was a hard hitting, crazy match with Shane Douglas getting beat up a lot, but eventually would get a helping hand in knocking out E Section with a chain. This was a first blood chain match, and it ended with Douglas cheating and getting the win, which was one hell of a brawl overall. Good stuff here, and I enjoyed it. Hard hitting, the crowd was into it, and that’s always nice.

Lex Luger and Buff Bagwell defeated Goldberg and Sarge

This was one hell of a match folks. It had Goldberg getting a lot of attention first, then things started to go downhill as Luger and Bagwell would cheat to get the win. They would isolate Sarge then after a fan interaction that seemed to spray Goldberg with something, he got beat down from Buff and Luger and that was that. Good fight, nice work, and honestly, the crowd was into it, until Luger and Buff would get the win.

Scott Steiner defeated Sid Vicious, Jeff Jarrett, and a Mystery Opponent

The story of this match was that Ric Flair had a mystery man that was going to come down and beat up Scott Steiner. However, the bigger story was that Jeff Jarrett and Steiner were working together against Sid Vicious. Sid would break his leg in this match, and the WWE Network doesn’t show it, so make sure you look for the official release if you want to see the unedited version. The Mystery Opponent showed up and it was none other than Roadwarrior Animal! It was not half bad, but the match was rushed, and left the crowd a bit dead. It ended quickly, the credits rolled, and Steiner kept his title yet again.

Overall, I would give this a C rating for the overall matches and crowd. It wasn’t bad, or as terrible as people think, but it wasn’t amazing either. It had some good matches in the undercard, and lots of shenanigans, with a hot crowd. I didn’t hate it.

WWE Smackdown Live September 11, 2018 Results and Review The B Show Proves Why They SUck

Miz Gonna Get It - Source WWE dot com
We begin the show with a 10 Bell Salute, which was really cool to see. Then instead of talking, we got wrestling! Yay!

I kid, first Jeff Hardy did a lot of talking, again. Meh. That was before the start of the match with Shinksuke Nakamura.

Shinsuke Nakamura vs. Jeff Hardy Ended In A DQ

The match was going well for Hardy, and the normal back and forth you’d expect was going through, then out of the blue comes Randy Orton to beat up Hardy, and that was that. The match was thrown out and Orton beat up Hardy ahead of this match this weekend in a cage.

Aj Styles talked in an empty arena. Meh.

Charlotte Flair defeated Sonya Deville

You knew this was going to happen, right? I did. It was another ok match at best.

After the match, Becky Lynch showed up front he crowd and beat up Charlotte, which was kind of cool.

Samoa Joe talks. Ugh. This show has a ton of talking.

Rusev Day defeated The Bar

Well, that’s the end of the Bar isn’t it. Yep. The Bar goes down to Rusev Day and that means our title match his set for the weekend. This wasn’t much of a match, it was mid-speed, and telegraphed at many different levels. It wasn’t that bad. It was ok at best.

Andrade Cien Almas defeated R Truth

A distraction roll up ending to a very short match, ended with Cien Almas getting a win. This was stupid, if you ask me. Short match, boring. And just filler on a show that should be better, but isn’t.

Brie Bella defeated Maryse

Ugh. This is the end of Smackdown? I try to like the shows, but with so much talking, and lackluster moments, I find the the biggest issue with Smackdown is lack of wrestling, and just problematic story telling. Sure the ending featured Daniel Bryan and Brie Bella, but meh, there’s so many other wrestlers on this roster, and yet we don’t get to see them at all. I guess that’s that, I don’t know what else to say about it.

WWE Smackdown Live September 4, 2018 Results and Review

WWE Smackdown Ending - Source WWE
The one thing that I hate about the WWE right now is the fact that they keep starting their shows with pure talk. I’m tired of talking, I don’t care for it, and I honestly just want to see pro wrestling on my wrestling shows. I’m probably in the minority, right? Ugh.

Daniel Bryan defeated Andrade Cien Almas

The talk led to Zelina Vega and Andrade Cien Almas show up and they laid down a challenge for the couple. Bryan would then throw down with Cien Almas, and the match saw Andrade Cien Almas controlling most of the match, and it was a fast flying, frenetic affair. With the women outside of the ring, the two men took on each other with gusto, and it was quite good to see, including Cien Almas countering a lot of offense that Bryan was throwing at him. As if this was going to be any less than another win for Daniel Bryan. I won’t say that Cien Almas is buried, but come on, another loss for him? Why even bring these guys up from NXT?

After the match, we saw Brie deliver the Brie Trigger on Zelina Vega, and that was that. Zelina Vega is hot, just smoking hot. Miz and Maryse showed up and started to yap, and that led to Bryan and Brie to leave the ring and chase them down, at a random restaurant, from what I can tell.

Up next we got more talking! It was Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair getting interviewed. Ugh. I’m so tired of nonsense. Sure they talk smack, and that’s it.

Naomi defeated Peyton Royce

I think it was Peyton Royce. This was a short match and it went back and forth until the Iconics ran in and beat up Naomi after she had won the match.

More talking, and then Joe comes to the ring, and talks. This show has so much talking I went to get lunch and came back and they were still talking. Aj Styles showed up and beat him up, then we got more talking and backstage stuff. By the time the next match started, there was not much left for the show.

Rusev Day defeated Sanity and The Usos in a Triple Threat Tag Team Match

This was a substantial match, but it wasn’t long. The guys put together a good match with some nice high flying moves, and some great back and forth before Rusev eventually got the pin for his team. Lots of quick moves, lots of apron moves, elbows, and more was all you got here. It was a fun match, it just didn’t last long. Rusev would win after a Matchka Kick on Young, and that was that.

R Truth defeated The Miz

This match was short, since the show only had about 10 minutes left by the time it started. This wasn’t a half bad match, and R Truth was able to get a distraction roll up win thanks to Brie and Daniel Bryan showing up. It wasn’t bad, mind you, and the end of the show featured Brie and Bryan taking care of business, until Andrade Cien Almas and Zelina Vega showed up to help Miz and Maryse, and that was that. Another beat down ending.

Monday Night Raw September 3, 2018 Results and Review

The Beat Down of The Shield - Source WWE
We open the show with talking as per usual. This time the show begins with Dolph Ziggler, Braun Strowman, and Drew Mcintyre. They talked a bit until The Shield showed up and things got heavy. The Raw Roster ran down to stop them, and they started to fight, and then the whole crew was in the ring trying to stop The Shield. Yeah, it was a big brawl, and the six guys were being held down by the rest of the Raw roster. That’s right, the whole Raw roster was having a hard time containing six guys. This is how we start Raw. Sigh.

The Shield got arrested and thrown into a van.

The Bellas defeated The Riott Squad

This was bad. Like really bad. The Bellas had ring rust, and they buried The Riott Squad. So that was that. SO much for in ring talent, and let’s just go with “looks”, right? Well that’s that.

Chad Gable and Bobby Roode defeated The Ascension

Well, the Ascension is now done. Another burial folks. Gable and Roode won an easy match here, and it was fun to see, but come on, The Ascension is nothing but a joke here.

Elias Came Out and of course it was stopped.

Alexa Bliss came out and talked, then Elias was going to help her with a song, and nope. Ronda Rousey showed up. Ugh, more talking. I’m so tired of a wrestling show that just talks and talks, and doesn’t have a lot of wrestling. Natalya came out as well.

Alexa Bliss defeated Natalya

Natalya loses a short match here. Alexa Bliss got help from her friends on this one, and then made Natalya tap out with an arm bar. Not a great match at all.

After the match, Ronda got her knee taken out and Alexa tried to beat her up, which worked for a second, but Ronda got the better of her, and she ran off. Their match is going to be another squash, I’m sure. This was awful to me.

Drew McIntyre and Dolph Ziggler defeated The B Team

Well, that was something. Not a long match, but a little back and forth for sure. Ziggler was able to get a good deal of offense, and Mcintyre was able to hit some nice moves as well. Either way, you’re going to find that this gives the two bad guys gold, and they will most likely defend and lose to the Shield, right? Yeah. Anyways, this was lame. The B Team’s time is over, and they are now going to be relegated back to jobber status, I hope.

AOP buries Jobbers

Meh. Drake Maverick is now their manager. Meh

Shawn Michaels Talked

The Undertaker showed up and talked, and the two were talking. I’m telling you guys, so much talking, and not enough wrestling is killing Raw these days.

Bayley and Sasha Banks defeated Ember Moon and Dana Brooke

I don’t know what this was, other than a simple, slow moving, short match. There was a few moments that were interesting, but it looks as though Dana Brooke is over Titus Worldwide, and is going solo. Moon didn’t get much offense, and Brooke took the pin. Women’s revolution eh? Short matches are back folks.

Jinder Mahal Talked.

This was another talking segment and it featured Bobby Lashley. However, in the middle of a meditation thing, Kevin Owens stormed the ring and beat up Lashley for apparently no reason. Then Jinder got a beat down from Lashley, and well Owens was standing tall, screaming, and apparently didn’t quit after all, right? Meh. The prize fighter has no prize, and he is just picking fights with random people. Meh.

Braun Strowman defeated Finn Balor

This was a back and forth match, and it wasn’t half bad. Strowman would get the win here, after a lot of action from Balor, who did his best to get through the motions of the match. He was supposed to fight Baron Corbin, but instead, he had to fight off Strowman here, and well, it was not an easy match for him. Strowman got the win with his powerslam, and that was that.

After the match, the Shield returned in a police van, and were ready to attack, but they couldn’t, because the heels of Raw came down to beat them up and then drag them to the aisle way. That is that. I don’t like the Shield, honestly, and well, this night on raw, they got those hands and were left for dead. Meh.

ALL In 2018 Results and Review The Hype I Ended Up Missing

All In September 1, 2018 Review
I had tickets to All In, I had an option to go, and ended up having to stay home. I didn’t have enough money to get there, so I wasted my time getting tickets, and trying to see it. So instead, I ended up seeing it at home, and well, here are my thoughts not he show that was.

For the record, I was at When World’s Collide, so this would have had to be quite good to top that, and well, we shall see, won’t we. This is my take on the All In 2018 Show.

I did not see the battle royal etc.

Matt Cross defeated MJF

The show began with a couple of guys that I didn’t know. These two guys I am not sure were big, or anything, so I don’t know what to say about them. This was a nice back and forth match, with some nice action including some high spots, which were great to go through. Some great options to see what the independent talent had to throw at the audience. Good pacing, and a shooting star press to end things outright. Good stuff, nice opener.

Cristopher Daniels defeated Stephen Amell

Jerry Lynn was the ref and he made a discretionary call at one point. It was fun. Anyways, this match was good, with Amell throwing down a lot against Daniels, and Lynn at one point taking off his ref’s jersey and pushed Daniels at one point. Amell flew across the ring at one point and even flew down off the top through a table which was great. After the best moonsault ever, Amell gets pinned, and that was that. Good stuff here.

Tessa Blanchard defeated Brit Baker, Madison Rayne, and Chelsea Rayne

I love Tessa Blanchard, I think she’s absolutely awesome, and hot. I’d love to meet her one day. She is hot, and talented, and well, wow. Her hammerlock DDT was awesome, and she won this match. The four women put on a show, and while it had a few botches, I found the match to be fun to watch, and good to work through. They really did a good job, even if it wasn’t the best match overall. I liked it.

Cody Rhodes defeated Nick Aldis

This match was ok, but at one point Cody Rhodes threw a super kick and completely missed! I kid you not, this was a bad botch, and one really talked about how awful it was. Aldis was able to thwart Rhodes a lot in this match and it was interesting to see how he would react to the push that Rhodes was throwing into the frame. This was not the best match I’ve seen from Cody Rhodes at all, and yet it was ok to watch. He would get the win after a lot of back and forth, and this was a slow moving, entertaining match, but honestly, it was nothing grand. I’ve seen better from him, but hey, in front of 9,999 people that’s not bad. Remember, I wasn’t there, so they can’t claim 10,000, I was not there.

Hangman Page defeated Joey Janela in A Chicago Street Fight

Janela and Page threw down in this street fight, and it was great. Lots of action, and eventually some tables breaking, some unnecessary bumps and a lot more, it was just great. This was the most fun that I got from the show, and these guys really put on a showcase of great work. Lots of back and forth, nice use of tables, and Page really throwing Janela across many different areas. Great stuff.

Joey Ryan defeated Hangman Page

This was odd. A bunch of druids in Penis outfits came out and Joey beat up Hangman, then went away. This was odd.

Jay Lethal defeated Flip Gordon

Flip Gordon is one hell of a wrestler at such a young age, and with not a ton of experience. Jay Lethal threw down a great performance as Black Machismo, which I loved. The match was a mix of styles, with Macho, I mean Jay Lethal focusing on wrestling a more steady style. Lanny Poffo was there too, and that was fun. The match ended with the Lethal Injection, and that was that. Not a terrible match, but it felt a bit flat at times.

After the match, we saw Bully Ray run down and start beating up Flip Gordon and Jay Lethal. He then kicked Lanny Poffo in the nuts! Bully Ray setup a table and was definitely going to get his way here. In the midst of this, Colt Cabana ran down to try and stop Ray, and he did. Cabana then helped the guys throw Bully Ray through a table and that was that.

Kenny Omega defeated Penta Zero

This was one hell of a fight. Both guys threw down all of the offense that they could create, and yet it was not enough for Zero to win. Omega kept selling the arm after getting it locked into the finisher from Zero. It was a fun romp, with lots of back and forth, with some great moves, including all of Omega’s good options. All of the Penta stuff, and a fight for the ages, and it was fun. Omega would get the win with the One Winged Angel after about 3 V triggers.

The lights went out and, in the ring Penta stood up out of nowhere. But it wasn’t Penta at all. It was none other than Chris Jericho! Jericho would come in and have an awesome Judas shirt on and it was absolutely grand. He was able to throw down and then got on the mic and it was awesome!

Okada defeated Marty Scurll

I’ve seen some great Okada matches, and this was not one of them. I recall seeing him against Zack Sabre Junior and was blown away. This did not blow me away at all. Not even a little. This was a slow paced, slow moving, somewhat boring match that was phoned in by Okada at times. Scurll took a lot of punishment towards the end, and by the time I was ready to give up, the two managed to draw me in, as The Villain really took on a new life towards the end. Two rain makers alter, and kaboom, Okada pulls out the win. This was NOT as good as any other match I’ve seen from Okada. Scurll threw down some nice offense, though, so for that, I’ll give this match some credit, but this was fairly not as good.

The Golden Elite defeated Rey Mysterio, Fenix, and Bandido

I am so impressed that Rey Mysterio is still able to move with such speed. Ibushi and Mysterio were able to hold for hold, and Mystery, dressed like Wolverine was impressive here. I couldn’t believe how good he was. The thing that you would expect from these six men is what you got. You got all sorts of action, and you got a lot of high spots from everyone. So many high flying moves, so many high impact options, and just insane things that you would expect. Sometimes, psychology would get thrown out of the window, mind you, but it’s expected right? After Stereo Superkicks to everyone, we would get multiple moonsaults, and then a 450 splash and this thing was nearly done. Of course, The Meltzer Driver put away Mystery, Fenix, and Bandido, and that was that. The end of the show.

As far as a show, this wasn’t terrible. I didn’t hate it. The show ended fast, it had 3 seconds to go, and that was that. They cut it very close to the end, but they gave a good amount of entertainment.

Was this better than anything WWE did?

NO.

Was it worth the hype?

No.

Did I miss it?

Yes. I lost money on this event.
