Miz Gonna Get It - Source WWE dot com |
I kid, first Jeff Hardy did a lot of talking, again. Meh. That was before the start of the match with Shinksuke Nakamura.
Shinsuke Nakamura vs. Jeff Hardy Ended In A DQ
The match was going well for Hardy, and the normal back and forth you’d expect was going through, then out of the blue comes Randy Orton to beat up Hardy, and that was that. The match was thrown out and Orton beat up Hardy ahead of this match this weekend in a cage.
Aj Styles talked in an empty arena. Meh.
Charlotte Flair defeated Sonya Deville
You knew this was going to happen, right? I did. It was another ok match at best.
After the match, Becky Lynch showed up front he crowd and beat up Charlotte, which was kind of cool.
Samoa Joe talks. Ugh. This show has a ton of talking.
Rusev Day defeated The Bar
Well, that’s the end of the Bar isn’t it. Yep. The Bar goes down to Rusev Day and that means our title match his set for the weekend. This wasn’t much of a match, it was mid-speed, and telegraphed at many different levels. It wasn’t that bad. It was ok at best.
Andrade Cien Almas defeated R Truth
A distraction roll up ending to a very short match, ended with Cien Almas getting a win. This was stupid, if you ask me. Short match, boring. And just filler on a show that should be better, but isn’t.
Brie Bella defeated Maryse
Ugh. This is the end of Smackdown? I try to like the shows, but with so much talking, and lackluster moments, I find the the biggest issue with Smackdown is lack of wrestling, and just problematic story telling. Sure the ending featured Daniel Bryan and Brie Bella, but meh, there’s so many other wrestlers on this roster, and yet we don’t get to see them at all. I guess that’s that, I don’t know what else to say about it.
