WWE Smackdown Live January 10, 2017 Results and Review Let’s Bury Corbin

Don't Tell Me This Is Not A Burial!!!
WWE Smackdown is supposed to be a B show, and you know what? It certainly is, because they seem to only showcase the same old B.S. and if ever there was proof, this was the night to show it off. Let’s discuss a few of the finer points of Smackdown Live.

WWE Smackdown Live January 10, 2017 Review

Natalya and Nikki Bella didn’t really do much to further their feud, it was another No Contest as they beat each other up with no refs pulling apart, etc. Oh well, the match, or whatever this was sucked and you know it.

Kalisto defeated Dolph Ziggler because he’s a loser.

Ziggler loses again? Are you kidding me? He turns heel last week, only to lose to Kalisto this week? Ziggler can’t win, and I’m not buying this turn, it’s stupid.

American Alpha needs Kurt Angle!

American Alpha is the white bread and mayonnaise sandwich of the WWE. They are great wrestlers, but they are boring compared to the Wyatt Family. Speaking of which, Orton is going to turn on them so bad and things are going to get interesting, right? Sure, why not? This match was run at half speed, and if you noticed it, you’ve been a wrestling fan a long time, congratulations.

Carmella and James Ellsworth should do it.

I wish I was Ellsworth, that’s for sure.

Steel Cage women’s Title Match!!!

This should be interesting, except for the fact that there will be no blood. Plus we already saw a women’s Hell in a Cell and people were crapping all over it. If there’s blood, I’m all in, if there isn’t, well, I guess that’s ok too. I don’t expect much from this match, by the way.

John Cena Buried Baron Corbin

John Cena and Corbin put on a match that was seriously boring. This was telegraphed as a Cena win all along and guess what happened? Cena buries another young talent. Corbin looking strong would’ve been great. Heck it would have been the thing that he needed to get over as a top guy, instead, he loses here. I hope he screws Cena out of the title win at the Rumble, and then goes on to face him in a WINNING effort anywhere else, otherwise, I’m going to be saddened by the future endeavors of Corbin. I mean, this is 2010 all over again, when Cena buried The Nexus several times.

Dean Ambrose is the most boring man alive.

Why does the WWE insist on giving talk show segments to everyone? Ambrose isn’t a lunatic, he’s a boring wrestler, and a boring talker. If the WWE really wants to make him stand out, let him go back to that lunatic fringe element. Have him rolling in with a parade, a drum line, and random B.S. instead of trying to force another segment where there’s a lot of talking. Southpark was right, there’s too much talking in wrestling.

If this was the A show? I don’t get it. I don’t want to see this anymore, simple as that. This was a boring showcase, with a few matches that were interesting, but not given enough time.
