A slow moving match that was a little boring to me. Tozawa would get the win, but I feel like we’ve seen this match many times before.
Hideo Itami vs. Michael Haize
Well, Itami was winning this match but out came Mustafa Ali after Itami was peaking up Haize for the whole match. However, he ran away, and the match was thrown out I guess.
Buddy Murphy defeated Kalisto
Here we go, one hell of a main event. This was a back and forth war, and both wrestlers threw everything that they had at one another. Murphy impresses here, with some killer reversals to Kalisto’s offense. The extra characters were thrown out of ringside, and wow, the framework here was nothing short of impressive with a lot of fighting back and forth, with lots of frenetic movements, and stellar moves. From high spots to hard hits, and more, you found that everything in this match made sense, and worked well. Murphy would get the final laugh, though, and boom, won this match.
As far as shows are concerned, 205 Live wins this week’s best main roster showcases, because of the final match. Great match with Murphy and Kalisto, and Murphy’s law that got the big win here. He’s destined to get a title shot sooner than later.
