Kofi Kingston Gets Throw Into Ladder - Source WWE |
The opening would lead to Brie Bella running down and beating up the Miz, then Daniel Bryan cleared the ring. He then said that he was going to get a match against Miz and Maryse at Hell in a Cell in a mixed-tag team match.
Randy Orton defeated Jeff Hardy by DQ
The two fought a slow paced match, until Jeff Hardy started to take on Orton with a steel chair, then he climbed a small rig, and then did a Swanton through a table! I thought he was in pain? For a guy that complains that he’s feeling pain, he gives a Swanton Bomb through Orton through a table onto the floor! There was a nice finale to a match that ended swiftly and wasn’t all that good. Hardy threw down, that was cool. I clapped for it, not literally, but figuratively for sure.
Peyton Royce defeated Naomi
This was a good match, although a quick one. The commentary team wasn’t paying attention to most of the match, but that’s ok. The end was good, with a good push forward for the Iconics, but honestly, Naomi deserves more. There was a cool segment here and there, but the match lacked precision and timing. It was short, and eventually Royce got a win thanks to a distraction from the outside, and that was that.
Becky Lynch Promo
Not bad. But I can’t boo her. I just can’t. Charlotte Flair came out and the two started fighting, and that was cool. I hated the camera cuts and movements, but other than that, the two were beating the hell out of one another, and I though that was awesome. They had to be pulled apart. Something tells me they are going to have a Hell in a Cell match for the title. The women came out to stop this, but why? Meh.
Rusev and Lana defeated Andrade Cien Almas and Zelina Vega
Another rematch, and it was ok. Nothing big, but Aiden English came to the aid of his friends and allowed them to get the win. This match seemed short, and unnecessary to me, but hey, that’s just my opinion on the matter. Not a great match, but it did have a few cool spots, mainly with Vega, because I find her to be beautiful.
AJ Styles Promo
Styles had a few sentences, and then Samoa Joe showed up and put him to sleep and he got on the mic and said that Daddy’s Asleep, Wendy. Wow. Hell in a Cell match is looming, I’m sure.
The New Day defeated The Bludgeon Brothers in a Brooklyn Street Fight
This was a great match, with a lot of fighting, and a lot of big moves. Woods went flying across the ring with an elbow through Harper and a table to get the win! This was a fight, it was a hard fought battle, and it was great to see The New Day win again. It was a great way to end the show and wow, The Bludgeon Brothers are done now. Just a lot of great moments in this fight, and a great main event if you ask me. Good showing!
