Well, well, here we go folks, another edition of Raw and I’m not excited, but then again, when is the last time I was truly excited about discussing Raw? I don’t remember at all. Let’s discuss the night, and some of the matches, and random notes as only I can, because this is the longest episodic pro wrestling blog ever created! Or maybe not.

WWE Monday Night Raw October 15, 2018 Results and Review

I hate when wrestling shows start with a lot of talking. Once again, we start Raw with talking, and I personally hate it. The three idiots came out, Dolph, Drew, and Brown Shoeman. They recapped last week! Come on! Who are they recapping for? Anyways, this was boring to start, and I am not a fan.

Seth Rollins defeated Drew McIntyre by Countout

The WWE World Cup match here, and it wasn’t bad. It had some good momentum, but after some back and forth, and Dean Ambrose showing up, Seth Rollins would get the win via count out. This was a terrible finish, mind you. However, the match itself wasn’t a complete terrible thing. I do question why a surprise attack needs music to play, as Dean got his music played to help his pal. He should’ve just ambushed Dolph Ziggler outside, no music or anything. Rollins wins, that’s all.

The WWE must assume that no one watches their show, right? Why else would they recap the DX announcement from last week through a long portion of the show? Meh.

Dean was teasing a split from the Shield, after Rollins called him a lunatic. I will say that I love Renee Young’s pants, and her style. She is a very lovely, woman and those pants, man, she’s a dream girl to me in many ways.

There was a vignette featuring Kane and The Undertaker. It was shot in a boiler room of sorts. It was stupid. I’m tired of seeing these 50 plus year old, broken down, boring big guys.

Nia Jax and Ember Moon defeated Tamina and Dana Brooke

I don’t know what to tell you about this. You already know it was bad, right? Well, if you didn’t see Raw, you didn’t miss anything at all. This was clumsy, and somewhat boring. It was a short match, with a finish that you’d expect at this point. Dana Brooke got hit with the Eclipse and that was the end. Short match, with some good action, and Tamina picking up Nia on her shoulders, that was cool. Other than that, another match with an ending that featured Tamina and Nia Jax squaring up.

Ronda Rousey Promo 

Ronda Rousey’s appeal is waning on me. I like her a lot, but in the WWE, she’s just meh, especially selling for The Bellas. She cut a promo. The Bellas came out, and there was an exchange, and out came security out of nowhere. So, Ronda decides to beat up the security guys with ease. The Bellas then ran away and that was that. I guess that’s the end of all that? They didn’t need this, we already know that The Bellas are useless, and by all accounts if the WWE books the way I think they will, we will see Ronda lose to the Bella Magic device.

Dolph Ziggler defeated Dean Ambrose

Thanks to Seth Rollins, Dean lashed out at his bro, and got a super kick for his effort, and a pinball win for Ziggler. Not a great match, but there’s enough of a push to watch it, even if Ambrose loses. This may spell doom for the Shield of course.

Balor defeated Jinder Mahal

Balor buries Mahal.

Trish and Lita Talk To Alexa Bliss and Mickie James

This was painful to watch.

AOP defeated A Random Jobber

It was supposed to be Angle, but it wasn’t.

Backstage The Riott Squad messed up Natalya’s dressing room door. Bullying. Meh.

Natalya defeated Ruby Riott

This wasn’t that great of a match, but it had some moments to consider. It was a short match, and Natalya did get the Sharpshooter victory, or was nearly there, but Sara Logan came in to fight that, and then chaos ensued with Bayley and Sasha Banks getting jumped. Riott Squad then beat up Natalya, and that was that.

Elias Segment

Apollo Crews interrupted this predictable segment. Crews then beat up Elias and that was that.

The Shield defeated The Wolves

Again, the same main event we see every week, and this time The Shield got to the win, and that was that. What can I say, it was a match, and that was that. Meh, to say the least. Another match won by the same three guys that take up all the time on Raw.

Afterwards Brown Shoeman beat up the squad, and Drew McIntyre walked away alone.

Overall, I’m just tired of the Shield and the same old booking on Raw.

WWE Monday Night Raw October 8, 2018 Results and Review From Chicago To Somewhere

Elias WWE 

WE start the show with talking of course, and it features Triple H coming out and getting a great ovation. I love the new HHH shirt, by the way. Due looks really cool, as a COO, wow. I want to be a COO that looks that good at that age. Good on him. Shawn Michaels would show up too.

Triple H said an avalanche came down on him and Michaels, as they were on top of it. That’s not how avalanches work. If you’re on top of a mountain, the ground beneath you could shift, but unless you’re underneath the avalanche to start, then you will not get buried, as you’re on top of it. If you’re on top of a mountain, avalanches can’t bury you, you’re on top. This doesn’t make sense, I guess.

Bobby Lashley defeated Kevin Owens

Does Kevin Owens ever get the upper hand any more? He now has jobbed to Lashley, and once again loses. He didn’t get completely buried, but with Lio Rush and Lashely together, the big man has beaten Kevin Owens again. So much for that “prize fighter” gimmick. This was lackluster, and the crowd was dead for a lot of it. Lately would “turn” as he ended up beating up Kevin Owens after the match, and that was that. I guess that’s cool, Lashley is a bad guy, and Owens is a good guy? Meh. Owens hasn’t been much of anything in the past few months, so maybe this will change? I don’t know. Boring match, with an ok ending, and a beat down of Owens.

Elias Sang

Elias did his thing, only to get interrupted by Ronda Rousey, and that was that. I don’t know what the purpose of that was, but Elias gets the book, and the women get a turn in a rematch from the early morning ppv.

Ronda Rousey and The Bella Twins defeated The Riott Squad

This was a cool match, I guess. It wasn’t that great overall, it was just another match that we saw from Australia.

After the match, The Bella Twins tried to beat down Ronda Rousey, and they couldn’t take her on after too long, as Rousey got the better of the two for a moment, until they threw Rousey into the post and ring steps. The Bella Twins, lack wrestling skill, but look good, so they get the promotion. Must be nice.

Bayley and Finn Balor defeated Jinder Mahal and Alicia Fox

Well, this was a match. Entertaining, a bit, short, but it had enough gusto to make it worth watching. A good deal of back and forth, with the ending that you would expect, as Balor picked up the victory after his stomp from the top. Not bad at all. I didn’t hate it, but it had no major consequences.

The Conquistador won the global battle royal

This was a joke, and it was Kurt Angle under a mask. That’s all I can say about this joke of a match. Such a large roster and this is what they give us? Ok, sure.

Ember Moon defeated Nia Jax via cont out

Nia Jax controlled most of this match, but it turns into a terrible solution over time, as Jax got counted out and that was that. I guess that’s ok? I don’t know. I don’t care about this.

Trish Stratus and Lita Announcement

Trish Stratus came out and got a mediocre reception. Her and Lita will take on Alexa Bliss and Mickie James. Meh. Just Meh. Lita came out, and she’s hot as ever, I love her.

Chad Gable and Bobby Roode defeated The Ascension

Well, this was a match, and without many consequences, it was just entertaining to see it go down. Gable would win with his rolling duplex, and that was that. Roode was set to win the match, and he looks like he lost some weight, he’s not on the roads any more.

After the match, the AOP ran down and squared off against Roode and Gable and that was that, I guess that was ok.

The Wolves defeated The Shield

Fast paced, back and forth, great overall push forward, with a focus on breaking down the elements here. Lots of back and forth, with a great push forward within the timing. Drew McIntyre would get the victory here, and that was that. Good stuff overall.

WWE Monday Night Raw October 1, 2018 Results and Review Horrible

WWE Raw Goes Old and Dumb - Source WWE 

First things first, we get Dean Ambrose coming out, and it’s supposed to be exciting. I think Dean Ambrose is extremely overrated. Of course, we open up with talking, because well, that’s what wrestling is now, a lot of talking on these shows. I miss wacky Dean, to be honest. The forward comb on his hair looks dumb, by the way.

After some talking, Baron Corbin came out to make a matcher and we would get the opening match up and it was Dean Ambrose facing off against Braun Strowman.

Brauns Strowman defeated Dean Ambrose

This was a one on one match, and while Strowman was winning, Roman Reigns showed up to mess up the match result. Ambrose lost this match.

Roman Reigns defeated Dolph Ziggler

Did you expect a different result? Roman Reigns goes through the motions he always does, and Ziggler gets finished off with a spear as per usual. Not a great match, not a terrible one, and Roman Reigns wins to the appreciation of little kids and women everywhere. I guess that was ok. Roman Reigns win, a few fans here, there’s a lot of empty seats in the arena.

Ronda Rousey defeated Ruby Riott

Riott put on a great fight overall. It wasn’t half bad, but did you think Rousey was going to lose here? Nope. Ruby Riott goes down and then gets an arm bar and that was that.

Konnor defeated Bobby Roode

Wow, this wasn’t glorious, and Roode is off the roids.

The B Team defeated The Revival

Wow, the Revival is now buried. Nice! What a lousy show.

Drew McIntyre defeated Seth Rollins

This wasn’t for the title. It was an ok match at best. It featured a good back and forth, but after the loss, out came Roman Reigns, and he caught a beat down from the crew. Braun Strowman would then come out, and that prompted for Dean Ambrose to run down with an Axe Handle and start laying waste to people. That was that, or was it? Strowman would get an upper hand and the wolves would go on to beat up the Shield a bit, and that was that. I guess it was good? I’m not a big of an of these 6 idiots.

Kevin Owens defeated Bobby Lashley

This was a distraction roll up loss, and the match was ok at best. Lio Rush was outside and he got a beat down from Elias. Elias got heat singing and commenting about Seattle, but other than that, this was somewhat boring. Why do I still watch Raw?

Shawn Michaels Goes Bald

The ending of Raw had a bunch of old timers return, and I yawned so hard I almost fell asleep. The Brothers of Destruction came through, and well it was fine. I don’t care about these guys, and I don’t know why anyone else would. Shawn is bald now. Meh. Whole lot of meh.

Raw was abysmal, and yet the company keeps making money. I don’t get it. I don’t care.

WWE Monday Night Raw September 24, 2018 Results and Review Brie Triggers For Everyone

The Shield Buries AOP - SOURCE WWE

And away we go! Another night of Raw, and this time it opens with a limo pulling in, and Baron Corbin. Is this 1999 Monday Night Nitro? Stephanie McMahon comes out and Corbin starts to sing to her. Then out comes Triple H, and Corbin stops. Triple H then leaves, and Stephanie runs down Corbin a bit.

The Shield come out and guess what? They start talking! Roman says something that is true, “These belts will change your life”, yeah, they’ll make you mean spirited celebrities that won’t take a picture with children at a store. These guys can go suck a lemon, they are entitled, pricks if you ask me. I hate opening raw with talking. So I’m going to put on some headphones.

Out came a trio of heels, and they talked and talked, I’m so sick of these talking starts.

Finn Balor defeated Jinder Mahal

Not really a fun match. It was exactly what you would think of this match. Mahal loses, and one of the Singh brothers got beat up after the match, as well as a beat down from Bayley as well. I guess that is the end of Mahal and the Singh brothers.

The Riott Squad defeated The Bellas and Natalya

This was a short match, and the news coming from it is that Brie botched a few spots and knocked out Liv Morgan at one point. Then she knocked the crap out of Ruby Riott. The match would eventually get a finish, but it was rushed after Morgan was knocked out, and she was visibly concussed on the side of the ring. The Bellas suck, let’s not sugar coat it, they are not worth their pay scale at all, and they are being force fed to an audience that deserves better. I have never been a fan, and am still not a fan, especially after seeing Brie completely knock out someone in the ring and then drag her around instead of having her friends help her out. Lame. This was a stupid match.

Connor defeated Chad Gable

One of the Ascension beat Gable, meh. This was dumb.

Dolph Ziggler and Dre McIntyre defeated The Revival

This was a fine match, with The Revival getting in a lot of offense, but it was all but forgotten when Drew and Dolph would get a comeback and drop the two with some stellar high powered offense. This wasn’t a bad match, mind you, the Revival didn’t roll over and die, they simply caught a beat down and was definitely working towards a win, but of course, the WWE isn’t going to do that at all. They never do. So in the end, the bad guys win, The Revival goes back on the shelf, and we continue to another segment on Raw.

Lashley defeated Elias via DQ

Meh. This match was ok, the story was more about Lio Rush about to get a beat down, but Lashley came in to safe the day. This is no doubt leading a tag team match, I’m sure.

Nia Jax defeated Alicia Fox

Short match with NIa Jax stomping out Fox.

The Shield defeated The Authors of Pain and Baron Corbin

Well, there you go. Did you expect another result from the pricks in the Shield? These guys suck, and hate kids. Entitled pieces of crap, I can’t stand the booking of Raw, and once again, they win. These guys suck. I’m over it. You can’t build up anyone if all you do is win and win, or can you? I’m going to just keep booing as per usual. Of course the story is whether or not Dean Ambrose is going to turn on the Shield. I doubt it. But it’s a nice little story they are building. Whatever the case is, I’m tired and Raw was not great. They were missing a TON of people, so meh. Just meh.

WWE Monday Night Raw September 17, 2018 Results and Review More BS

Everyone Sucks - Source WWE

Live from Dallas Texas, we get to the A show, and it starts with Roman Reigns and the people of Raw booing. I would boo too. Heck, I’d boo the woo.

Of course, we start with talking. I’m so tired of this BS. The show opened and Braun Strowman with Roman Reigns were thrown into a Triple Threat Match for the Universal Title at the Crown Jewel show in Saudi Arabia, which doesn’t happen until November. This was stupid. Paul Heyman came out and talked, and honestly, this was too much talking for me.

Drew McIntyre defeated Dean Ambrose

Ambrose threw down a lot of his offense against Drew, but it wasn’t enough. The finishing kick really hit Ambrose square, and that was that. Dean pulled out a few good moves, including a nice Texas Cloverleaf, but Drew McIntyre, the chosen one, comes back and wins big after Ambrose misses a double axe handle smash. A good opening match, and well, Ambrose loses clean. A burial? Na, but I guess I can call it that, why not? Dean Ambrose is buried now.

Chad Gable defeated Random Dude From Ascension

I”m done. I’m so done. This is so stupid. Gable is great though, so I guess that’s cool. The Ascension will end up facing off against Bobby Roode and Chad Gable, I’m sure. Anyway, this was a boring match with Gable going over with ease.

Undertaker came out and talked.

I don’t want to see The Undertaker doing limericks in the ring. Boring.

Bayley defeated Dana Brooke

Well, I didn’t think Dana would win, even though I think she’s awesome. She’s underrated, but it was Bayley here that would get the win, and that was that. It was good, but not great. Bayley and Sasha Banks seem like afterthoughts these days, if you ask me.

The Authors of Pain defeated Jobbers

Meh.

Seth Rollins defeated Dolph Ziggler

Not a terrible match, but I’ve already seen these guys wrestle a million times, so meh, it was an ok television match, but it wasn’t their best work, as they’ve wrestled many times before.

Ronda Rousey Open Challenge

So Ronda was going to fight Natalya for an open challenge, but the Riott Squad came out and started to beat up Ronda, and the numbers game caught up with her. She held her own for a little while, but she got a beat down until she got saved by The Bella Twins. Ugh. I hate The Bellas. Things turned around and then the Riott Squad caught beat downs overall.

Lashley vs Elias Went To A No Contest

Lashley and Lio Rush are now friends and manager etc. The match other than this new union was ok, it was unexpected, and a little fun for sure.

Nia Jax and Ember Moon defeated Mickie James and Alicia Fox

Another quick match, and a fast ending. I guess that was that? Meh. Just meh. Nothing to see here.

Roman Reigns defeated Baron Corbin via DQ

This match was back and forth, and after some time, Corbin threw a chair at Roman and the ref disqualified him. After this, Baron ordered the match restarted as a no disqualification match.

Of course. The shield came out, the War Dogs or whatever came out, and well, there was a brawl, there was superman punches, and the Big Dog would win again. Meh.

This night of Raw was nothing short of an elaborate prank, right? Nothing from the night before was really answered to satisfaction, but hey, that’s WWE for you. Ugh. So tired of this company.

Monday Night Raw September 3, 2018 Results and Review

The Beat Down of The Shield - Source WWE 

We open the show with talking as per usual. This time the show begins with Dolph Ziggler, Braun Strowman, and Drew Mcintyre. They talked a bit until The Shield showed up and things got heavy. The Raw Roster ran down to stop them, and they started to fight, and then the whole crew was in the ring trying to stop The Shield. Yeah, it was a big brawl, and the six guys were being held down by the rest of the Raw roster. That’s right, the whole Raw roster was having a hard time containing six guys. This is how we start Raw. Sigh.

The Shield got arrested and thrown into a van.

The Bellas defeated The Riott Squad

This was bad. Like really bad. The Bellas had ring rust, and they buried The Riott Squad. So that was that. SO much for in ring talent, and let’s just go with “looks”, right? Well that’s that.

Chad Gable and Bobby Roode defeated The Ascension

Well, the Ascension is now done. Another burial folks. Gable and Roode won an easy match here, and it was fun to see, but come on, The Ascension is nothing but a joke here.

Elias Came Out and of course it was stopped.

Alexa Bliss came out and talked, then Elias was going to help her with a song, and nope. Ronda Rousey showed up. Ugh, more talking. I’m so tired of a wrestling show that just talks and talks, and doesn’t have a lot of wrestling. Natalya came out as well.

Alexa Bliss defeated Natalya

Natalya loses a short match here. Alexa Bliss got help from her friends on this one, and then made Natalya tap out with an arm bar. Not a great match at all.

After the match, Ronda got her knee taken out and Alexa tried to beat her up, which worked for a second, but Ronda got the better of her, and she ran off. Their match is going to be another squash, I’m sure. This was awful to me.

Drew McIntyre and Dolph Ziggler defeated The B Team

Well, that was something. Not a long match, but a little back and forth for sure. Ziggler was able to get a good deal of offense, and Mcintyre was able to hit some nice moves as well. Either way, you’re going to find that this gives the two bad guys gold, and they will most likely defend and lose to the Shield, right? Yeah. Anyways, this was lame. The B Team’s time is over, and they are now going to be relegated back to jobber status, I hope.

AOP buries Jobbers

Meh. Drake Maverick is now their manager. Meh

Shawn Michaels Talked

The Undertaker showed up and talked, and the two were talking. I’m telling you guys, so much talking, and not enough wrestling is killing Raw these days.

Bayley and Sasha Banks defeated Ember Moon and Dana Brooke

I don’t know what this was, other than a simple, slow moving, short match. There was a few moments that were interesting, but it looks as though Dana Brooke is over Titus Worldwide, and is going solo. Moon didn’t get much offense, and Brooke took the pin. Women’s revolution eh? Short matches are back folks.

Jinder Mahal Talked.

This was another talking segment and it featured Bobby Lashley. However, in the middle of a meditation thing, Kevin Owens stormed the ring and beat up Lashley for apparently no reason. Then Jinder got a beat down from Lashley, and well Owens was standing tall, screaming, and apparently didn’t quit after all, right? Meh. The prize fighter has no prize, and he is just picking fights with random people. Meh.

Braun Strowman defeated Finn Balor

This was a back and forth match, and it wasn’t half bad. Strowman would get the win here, after a lot of action from Balor, who did his best to get through the motions of the match. He was supposed to fight Baron Corbin, but instead, he had to fight off Strowman here, and well, it was not an easy match for him. Strowman got the win with his powerslam, and that was that.

After the match, the Shield returned in a police van, and were ready to attack, but they couldn’t, because the heels of Raw came down to beat them up and then drag them to the aisle way. That is that. I don’t like the Shield, honestly, and well, this night on raw, they got those hands and were left for dead. Meh.

WWE Monday Night Raw August 27, 2018 Results and Review More Big Dog

Ziggler vs Big Dog - Source WWE 

The start of the show was a shower of boos for the BIG DOG! Oh boy here we go.

Roman comes down, and immediately he shows off how smug he was. There was a fan that put out his fist to get a bump, and Reigns basically shook his head, like, “na, I’m good”, you know like a smug a-hole.

The show opened up with talking, and I hate that. Bryan and Roman will be inside Hell in a Cell for the Universal Title, and well, Roman will win with a spear as per usual. We then get a straight up tag team match for later tonight.

Baron Corbin came out and made matches, and then said he was going to take on Finn Balor. This was a rematch from Summerslam, but this is not the same as it was, because Finn is not the demon, he’s just the man, and you know he’s not as good.

Finn Balor defeated Baron Corbin via DQ

The match was interesting enough, it was slower than the previous one. The two went through a few back and forth motions, but it ended up getting Corbin disqualified by using a chair. However, after he introduced a chair, and lost, he went outside of the ring and announced that this was a match that was NO DQ.

Baron Corbin defeated Finn Balor

So, the match was restarted, and well, after a chair shot, Corbin wins again. That was that. Great. Nice job. Lol.

Sasha Banks defeated Dana Brooke

Yep. You knew this was going to happen, so meh. Dana is awesome though, I’d love to meet her one day. She has some insane maneuvers, but alas, she loses in a short match.

Seth Rollins came out and did an open challenge. Because the writers of Raw are that lazy.

Seth Rollins defeated Kevin Owens

Well, what do you know? Seth Rollins defeated Owens in one hell of a television match. Owens threw everything he could at Rollins, and even though he showcased just how good he was, he couldn’t put away Rollins. This included moonsault attempts, fighting back from buckle bombs, and so much more. I was impressed, and yet Owens loses again. Oh well. Rollins and Owens put on a show, and that’s all that matters sometimes.

Kevin Owens Quit.

Perhaps, if this is not a work, it’s a good thing. Owens said he quit and left the arena, that’s it.

The Revival defeated The B Team

This was a steady match, but it was short. It was non-title, and of course, the booking yet again does that things where the champs lose and then will win when the titles are on the line. Either way, The Revival got the best of the B Team and would win with the Shatter Machine. Not a terrible match, mind you, but it was short, and well, it served to just make it seem like the B team aren’t that good overall. We shall see what happens next, won’t we?

Elias Did His Thing

Elias was stopped by the leading lady of Trish Stratus, no joke. Stratus came down and got a huge ovation. Trish slapped Elias and then we got Ronda Rousey coming out and that was the end of the segment.

Natalya defeated Alicia Fox

A very short match. Yeah. It was ok at best.

Bobby Lashley defeated The Ascension

The Ascension was buried. That’s it. Thanks for getting a paycheck.

Roman Reigns and Braun Strowman defeated Dolph Ziggler and Drew Mcintyre via DQ

Well, Braun Strowman turned heel when he tagged in and wouldn’t help Roman Reigns. So he let the guys beat him up then the Shield came down and they got those hands. End of story. Wow. Meh.

WWE Monday Night Raw August 20, 2018 Results and Review The Roman Show Continues

Finn Balor vs. Roman Reigns - Source WWE

Roman Reigns showed up, cut a promo, then got a handshake from Finn Balor. After that, we got a Baron Corbin to cut a promo, and that prompted Kurt Angle, so we started the show with a lot of talking, which I hate.

Bobby Lashley defeated Baron Corbin

There was a match setup by Angle, and we got these two brawling, and throwing haymakers at one another. This was a hard fought battle, and it was great overall. It was simple to work with if you were expecting the two to put on a quick match, and I liked it. Lashley was able to throw in a good amount of offense, and Corbin just couldn’t hang in the ned, losing after Lashley threw in some heavy hits.

The Riott Squad defeated Sasha Banks, Bayley and Ember Moon

Wow, this was another good match, although, it wasn’t that long. The Squad was able to cheat their way through victory, and once again put down the friends, and Moon, and were able to work as a unit. That’s always fun to watch, and well, they won big.

Triple H cut a promo, and just talked. It was boring. He will face Undertaker October 6, meh. Ok.

Elias defeated Curt Hawkins

Well, this was a quick one, and Hawkins earned his pay check that’s for certain. The end, that’s it.

The Authors of Pain defeated Titus Worldwide

Well that was that. It was ok at best. I didn’t hate it, but I did not love it either. Meh. The best part was Apollo Crews going to town on AOP and doing some amazing athletic things, but other than that, AOP wins and that’s that.

Ronda Rousey Ceremony

Oh my lord, this sucked. I hated it. Stephanie McMahon made things lame, and well this was dumb. Ugh.

The Revival defeated The B Team

The Revival beat the B Team in singles action. First Bo loses than Axel loses. These were short matches, and the job was done with ease. It was a fun showcase, none the less, and it was ok. The B Team sucks, I don’t like them. Oh well. I got bored with Raw.

Roman Reigns defeated Finn Balor

This was a very good match, with a lot of upside. It was a fast moving option for sure, and I liked how well it turned out . Balor took on a lot of elements, and the offense here was great. But the ending had a distraction and that let Roman Reigns pick up the win.

After the win, Braun Strowman tried to cash in. But he couldn’t, because The Shield reunited and showed up to mop up Strowman. The band is back together! So the Shield are now going to protect Roman’s interest? Meh.

Another night of Raw, and if my hip didn’t hurt I’d like this more, it was ok at best.

WWE Monday Night Raw August 13, 2018 Results and Review

The opening of the show featured Ronda Rousey, and of course the crowd gave her a huge ovation. The announce table got Renee Young, and it was cool to see a woman in the booth. Ronda went into the ring to talk, and I immediately cringed. She should not be TALKING! Ugh. WWE knows how to ruin things, don’t they?

Alexa Bliss comes out and talks. She runs down Ronda Rousey and then introduced her security team. They sucked, because Ronda beat the hell out of them, showing off their Judo abilities.

Alexa Bliss was scheduled for a match with Ember Moon, and that would open the show after the 12 minute mark or so, because of course, we need to have talking.

Sometimes I feel like I’m watching WCW. Why? Because, the WWE continues to have matches that don’t get finished. They get ruined during a good thing. I recently saw a match with Rey Mystery Jr and Vampire from Nitro, and it was going really well, and some great moments were found, only for the match to get thrown out due to interference. The same thing happened here, as Ronda Rousey and Alicia Fox were involved in the match, and caused it to get thrown out. Ember Moon looked good here, and almost pinned Bliss after her finisher, but alas, Fox came in and messed things up, so that was the end of that. The announcers immediately glossed over this, and noted that Rousey will be facing Bliss this weekend. She did rag doll Fox, which was fun to watch, but other than that, Bliss escapes without losing again. Moon is great to watch, by the way.

I am so tired of Talking and Recaps!

Yet again, we are seeing recaps, and rewinds, as well as talking and it’s stupid. Raw wastes a lot of time between wrestling, and you really don’t feel like you’re watching a wrestling show.

Baron Corbin defeated Tyler Breeze

Breeze got a little bit of offense in this match, but it was Corbin that would get the last laugh as he won with the Deep Six. He was winded after a short match. Breeze loses again, and well, he’s lost as there’s no more fashion files, and there’s no more Fandango. After the match Baron Corbin got on the mic, and introduced Jinder Mahal. This was not a great match, but hey, I liked the finish, Deep Six is a great move, and he won, yet again. I didn’t doubt that would happen. Also introduced, was Kevin Owens. Jinder and Owens would face off against Finn Balor in a handicap match. How is Owens still fat? Braun Strowman got into the match.

You knew that Strowman and Balor wouldn’t lose. They didn’t, they rolled right through Owens and Mahal, and well, I guess that’s the story that we always get. At this point, I don’t know who’s going to win at Summerslam, or should I say, Summerfest. Either way, Strowman took out both Mahal and Owens here, and Balor was a non-sequitur in many ways. An ok match at best, and well, I didn’t care. I’m too tired to care. After the match Corbin hit the End of Days on Balor, and that was that. Balor was left laying in the ring, and he should just go back to NJPW if you ask me. They would give him a better shot than just letting him take falls and look like a chump against Corbin every week.

Random Jobber Gets Killed By Lashley

There was supposed to be a match here, as the Elias segment. But nope. Lashley beat down some random jobber, even though the job hit Lashley with a guitar shot to the head. This wasn’t a match, just a beat down and that was that.

The B Team defeated The Deleters of Worlds, and The Revival in a Triple Threat Match

For such a compelling matchup, they weren’t given much time. The whole thing seemed to last very little time, but they managed to put in some good spots. The match’s greatest spot had to be a superplex off the top rope from Hardy on one of the Revival members, into their opponents on the floor. It was one hell of a shot, and it’s quite the moment. Other than that, this was your standard tag team match with The B Team winning at the end.

Roman Reigns came out, and the fans were booing, as usual. I booed from home. I am tired of hearing, “here comes the Big Dog”, ugh. Michael Cole still sucks after all of these years. Paul Heyman came out and tried to get Roman Reigns to join him, but instead, he sprayed him in the face with something, and that was that. All this time to get Roman Blinded, then out came Brock Lesnar, and while Roman was blinded, he hit Roman with the F5 and the crowd was not cheering for Roman. They cheered for Brock yet again. Well, there you have it, another beat down on Roman, did you expect anything else? Meh. Just meh.

Apollo Crews, Titus Oneill and Bobby Roode defeated The AOP and Some Other Dude

This match was so fast, that I blinked and it was done. Yeah, this match sucked to say the least. It was too fast. Meh. Nothing to report here folks.

Ruby Riott defeated Sasha Banks

Ruby Riott got a blood nose in this match, but other than that, you’re going to find that the match was back and forth, with lots of fighting, and in the end, Riott was able to win over Banks. That’s really because of outside interference, let’s be honest. This match was short, and well, it ended in a distraction roll up.

The Contract Signing of Rollins and Ziggler

We ended the show without wrestling. It was a contract signing, and we saw Dan Ambrose return. Meh. Just meh. This was the go home show for Summerslam. This sucks. Lame.

Raw was tiring. Terrible, just awful, and yet we all watch it.

Just when you thought you tuned into a wrestling show, two dorks come to the ring, and start to jibber jabber. That’s right, we open the show with Kurt Angle and Baron Corbin talking. Great. Roman Reigns came out and starting to join the guys in a Jib Jab session.

Roman Reigns defeated Baron Corbin

The opening match was setup from the talking, and it wasn’t that great, as you’d expect. Roman and Corbin did do battle, and it wasn’t too bad at first glance, but when Corbin couldn’t put the Big Dog away, he decided to walk. That led Finn Balor to come out, and that caused Corbin to go back to the ring and get hit with a Superman punch as he was trying to get back in. How wasn’t he counted out? Reigns hit that spear and we saw Corbin lose to Reigns, because, of course we did.

Bobby Roode defeated Mojo Rawley

Wow, a good Mojo match? Yep, looks like Mojo steps out of the shadow of former football players, and others that want to get into Pro Wrestling, because he put up a good fight against Bobby Roode. However, the wiley Roode was able to garner a great deal of offense, and eventually get Rawley caught up in a frenetic finish, with a nice DDT to end it. It was glorious, no doubt, and it was the end of the match, clean as a sheet. Rawley’s win streak ends here.

Elias Got A Beat Down

Elias got a beat down from Bobby Lashley, so that was that. Lashley got the better of him, and that was that. That’s all I can say about this. It was lame.

The Kevin Owens Show

Well, another non-wrestling segment. Right now my computer has no sound because the sound card fried, so I have to just watch these idiots try to entertain. The funny part was that at one point the stage seemed to take a bump and then tipped over completely! You know why? It was Braun Strowman, he tipped over the stage for no reason! Lol. Oh well. I’m tired of this. I’m going to the bathroom. After this, Bruan Strowman went to the ring and apparently was supposed to fight Jinder Mahal.

Well, they sure hindered Jinder now. Jinder won, again, although because Owens interrupted the match, if you can call it that. This is hindering Jinder, if you ask me.

Dolph Ziggler and Drew McIntyre defeated Seth Rollins

Of course they did! They always seem to do this with the wrong people. If this was John Cena or Roman Reigns, Ziggler and McIntyre would’ve lost. But not this time, the show was all Rollins trying to survive, and just couldn’t make it happen. Rollins did throw down a lot of great points of contention, but not enough to make this worthwhile, as he lost after the numbers game kept going through the motions, and that was that. Rollins is always fun to watch, even when he’s getting a beat down, lol.

The Revival versus The B Team Ended in A No Contest

This match didn’t get too far along before The Deleters of Worlds showed up and laid them all out. Ok, well that was short, and sweet, and honestly, I didn’t care any longer. The WWE has taken an amazing thing and made it into a watered down Kool Aid solution that is just not worth while for me or anyone else for that matter.

The Riot Squad defeated Sasha Banks and Bayley

This again? Ok, well this wasn’t a terrible match. Things were going well for the best friends, but it turned out that a masked woman in a hoodie showed up and caused a distraction. That led to the famous distraction roll up, and that led to a Morgan pinfall, and that was that. The person under the hood? It was none other than Ruby Riott! She’s back and she helped her girls get the win here!

Ronda Rousey defeated Alicia Fox

Well, did anyone really think that Ronda Rousey was going to lose in this match? Alicia Fox had barely any sort of offense here, and Ronda would eventually lean back and basically break Fox’s arm. Even with Alexa Bliss outside, that wasn’t enough, and well, Rousey won huge. Rousey is going to end up just team rolling everyone, that’s it. A good match this was not, and well, Alexa Bliss is on the radar next, isn’t she? Rousey wins, and that’s really the story that WWE wants to tell right now. I like Rousey, but she’s going to need more competition, and get less winded in the ring. She was truly winded after a short match, and you could tell in the post match interview. Alexa Bliss tried to attack, but was thwarted fast. That was the end.

Raw was not great, it was kind of boring at times, had a lot of talking, and didn’t make full use of a lot of the people that they have on the roster. I didn’t hate this episode, but it had a lot of filler. Bliss is running scared right now.

Can I star calling WWE Monday Night Raw, The Roman Reigns show yet? He started this week by walking slowly to the ring, and well, you know he got a mix of boos and cheers, and he soaked it all in at the start of the show. At this point, it's cool to just hate on the guy if you ask me.

WWE Monday Night Raw July 30, 2018 Results and Review

The Roman Reigns show started with him cutting a promo then calling out Brock Lesnar, but out came Paul Heyman. The two went back and forth, and it was a move to try and get Lesnar booed, which kind of worked. The show then moved to Seth Rollins sitting in the back stage area, and we were 12 minutes into a professional wrestling show, without seeing any professional wrestling at all. I wonder when the wrestling would begin?

At about the 15 minute mark, we started to get our first match, and it featured Alex Wright 2.0. I spoke too soon, the wrestling didn't start. We got a backstage segment where we saw Brock Lesnar and Paul Heyman. Lesnar scared Heyman by throwing his phone and then sitting down to read a magazine. I can respect Lesnar, dude is an introvert, doesn't like people, and just wants to collect a paycheck. I like that. I'd do the same. Oh, the wrestling would begin around the 16 minute mark if you took out the commercials, so I cannot really say when the wrestling truly began, but I'm going to guess that it would've been the 20 minute or 30 minute mark if I was watching in real time instead of the day after.

Baron Corbin defeated Finn Balor

This was one hell of a match, and I really dug the whole thing. It was given a little time, and the two went back and forth. I loved Balor's strategy of keeping coming back, and his Shotgun Dropkick on the outside was incredible, and I loved that move. However, Corbin would get his win here, and well, that's what happens, now doesn't it? 50-50 booking strikes again. Corbin did a great job here, and Balor is fun to watch against a bigger opponent. Good stuff, but I'm assuming that this feud is far from over, considering Corbin won and then came back to the ring to do more damage to Balor.

Of course, we would get another mention about the Women's Revolution, and how Stephanie McMahon was a pioneer etc. Man, they keep pushing this. I'll buy it, why not?!

Alicia Fox defeated Natalya

Thanks to a distraction, Alicia Fox picked up a win, however, you're going to find that this was a clumsy match. The two didn't work that well together, and the story really seemed to point towards something a bit different. The match ended thanks to a distraction from Alicia Fox on Ronda Rousey. When that occurred, Natalya was hit with a stiff right hand from Alexa Bliss on the outside, and Fox pounced. After the match, Rond Rousey tried to even the score, but beleive it or not, Alicai Fox got the best of her! I kid you not. I'm not even sure how to really explain what went down, but it got Ronda mad, and we will most likely see a tag team match coming soon. But this match was clumsy at best.

Elias Did A Performance

Who wants to walk with Elias?! Me! Out came Bobby Lashley and the two exchanged a few words, and it seemed like things were going to go swell. However, you knew what was going to go down, and honestly, it was ok, Lashley got mad when Elias hit him, and then threw him down a few pegs, and that was that, or rather, Lashley threw him down in retaliation.

Jinder Mahal defeated Braun Strowman via Count Out

This was a slow match, until Kevin Owens showed up to try and steal the Money in the Bank briefcase. Strowman chased Owens, and then got counted out. Jinder Mahal wins! Wow, the dude gets a win over Strowman. A win is a win, right?

Apollo Crews defeated One of the AOP

A roll up victory for Crews. I couldn't stop looking at Dana Brooke though, I'm sorry, she's hot to me. I'd love to meet her. This match was short and not that good.

Seth Rollins vs Drew McIntyre Ended In A No Contest

This was a really good match, until Dolph Ziggler ran in to mess things up. That was stupid, and really just messed things up for me. I didn't like that, but hey what can you do? The match was back and forth, with some good moments, and some nice shots, but Ziggler caused the problem, and that was that.

Roman Reigns Was Thrown Out

That's it. Roman Reigns was thrown out of the building. Ok.

The B Team Promo

The B team got called into the ring, and they did some random promo things, it was ok at best. The Deleters of Worlds showed up, but after some back and forth, The Revival showed up and said they should get a title shot. So that prompted Teddy Long to show up and make it a straight up tag team match, you know!

The Revival defeated Matt Hardy and Bray Wyatt

Well, this was a throwaway match in a lot of ways. Tully and Arn, I mean The Revival were able to put some serious boots to the random tag team that is Awoken. I miss the revelry of Broken Matt Hardy, not this "woken" Hardy dude. Anyways, this match wasn't too long, and it was the Revival getting the upper hand and winning the match. It was thrown together, and it wasn't half bad to see the second coming of the Brain Busters.

Bayley and Sasha Banks defeated Liv Morgan and Sara Logan

Well, the Riott Squad is done. Bayley and Sasha are on the same page now, and the two put on a show of how good things can be. The showcase of the two are great, and if they are going to create a women's tag team championship, they should get it. The two are great together, and while the Riott Squad didn't go down without a fight, they still lost, and that was that. A good match, although very predictable at this point.

Backstage, the WWE teased Brock Lesnar firing Paul Heyman, as he grabbed him by the collar and basically said he didn't give a crap about the fans or WWE or anything. Then let Heyman go, and that was that. I'm so sick of Lesnar.

Paul Heyman Gives Up

Paul Heyman comes down to the ring and tells Kurt Angle that Brock Lesnar is not going to come down tonight. Heyman was just about fired, but Brock Lesnar then showed up, with only 4 minutes left in the show. Lesnar gave Angle an F5 then almost beat up Heyman and walked away. Meh.

This night of wrestling was boring to me, except there were a few moments that I didn't hate. The women got a little more time than normal, but the guys seemed to be thrown into throwaway segments and matches. I guess that's Raw, the B show if you ask me. I wouldn't say that I would've missed this show if I didn't see it, that's for sure.

WWE Smackdown July 25, 2018 Results and Review

Randy Orton showed up. I didn't care. He talked about how the people don't respect him, and he questioned everyone, he was just going through the same Hideo Itami type of thing. He stopped short of saying, "respect me". It was stupid. I don't care about this guy.

We then got a recap of what happened on Raw, which featured Stephanie McMahon saying she invented women's wrestling, etc. On a wrestling show, the first 20 some odd moments were NOT wrestling. How cool is that? It's not.

Andrade Cien Almas defeated Rusev

The tables turned on Rusev when Aiden English ran in to the match to try and stop Zelina and Lana fighting, but it caused issues. Rusev got distracted, then lost big time. Rusev and Almas put on a good match, although it was somewhat short, but Almas would get the big win, and that's that. A distraction on the outside was the big deal here. Aiden English and Rusev are headed to splitsville, I'm sure.

Samoa Joe defeated R Truth

Yeah, I typed that. It happened. I will say this much, R Truth is the most athletic guy ever! He's awesome, and was able to catch off Samoa Joe until of course things took a turn, and Truth was put to sleep after a couple of moves. Oh well, short match, but Truth is awesome.

Asuka defeated Billie Kay

I was reviewing a porno movie the other day and Billie Kay looked a lot like a porno actress. Anyways, Asuka won this match after an initial flurry from the iconic member. It was ok at best. Asuka wins, and well, that's it. A throw away women's match.

Aj Styles Opponent Announcement

Paige was going to announce the next opponent, but before she couuld, James Ellsworth came out and wanted a title shot, since he has beaten Aj Styles 3 times! James Ellsworth was fired! Yeah, this was entertaining, but it wasn't the opponent we thought about. Samoa Joe will be the next gu, and he beat up Styles. He won't win, but he signed his name.

Becky Lynch defeated Carmella

This was another women's match that wasn't too long, and it ended with the ending you would expect. Becky Lynch would win with her submission, and well, that was that. The end. Not a great match, not a terrible one either, and well, it ended well enough.

The New Day defeated Sanity

Wow, so Sanity is now buried. The New Day rolled through Sanity with seemingly no difficulty. The Usos were on commentary of course, and well that was ok. The Usos jumped the ringside and out came The Bar! I thought the Bar was on Raw? I guess not? Either way, The new Day defeated Sanity, and to me, it's a burial.

Out came The Bar with mics and started to talk random things, and well that was that. I didn't care.

The Miz Premier

Ugh. Just ugh. Daniel Bryan ran out and beat up security and went to the ring. Bryan came into the ring, and Miz threw a baby doll at Bryan then kicked him and hit the Skull Crushing Finale, and that was that. I guess this is the start of the feud. Ok, good, I'm sick of this. Miz is good, but this was the B show. This is the best that WWE has? That's the best wrestling? I can't believe this bs.

WWE Monday Night Raw July 23, 2018 Results and Review

Vince McMahon introduced Triple H and Stephanie McMahon. Well, she came out and said that women can be anything, except ugly on WWE. Oh, she didn't say that? Well, there's going to be an all women's WWE PPV called "Evolution" on October 28, 2018. It will be the first ever all women's PPV for the WWE. Oh great, oh great, so exciting. Sigh. This is stupid, but hey, whatever. I'll watch it, because I do that, and you 2 readers out there still listen or watch or read or do something for this blog, right? Lol.

The B Team defeatd Woken Matt Hardy and Bray Wyatt in the WWE Tag Team Championship Match

In what was an odd match, the B Team was able to once again upend the Deleters of Words. The match wasn't that great, it was slow, prodding, and eventually featured Wyatt and Hardy getting shuffled around and thrown into one another where Curtis Axle was able to get the pin. It was a quick ending to a short match, and after the match the Deleters of Worlds gave the B team their finishing manuever. The B Team still have the championships.

Bayley and Sasha Banks Make Up

I'm so tired of seeing Bayley and Sasha, and the backstage elements. They apparently LOVE one another now? I hate this. It's so stupid.

Sasha and Bayley defeated Two Jobbers

This was boring. A jobber match and that's it. If you like jobber matches, then, this was great for you. I didn't think it was fun to watch, it was just a boring throwaway match.

Elias got interrupted by Braun Strowman.

Elias was introduced but out came Braun Strowman and he cut a promo. Then out come Corbin and Kevin Owens. Then Jinder came out, and well, this was a comedy segment, and wow, just wow, this was not good. No wrestling here, just comedy with one of the Singh brothers getting a beat down.

Mickie James defeated Natalya

This wasn't a 30 second match, but it certainly wasn't that long. It was not a great match, but I always love seeing Mickie James, and well, Natalya was able to throw down a great deal, and she had this match in the bag, until Alexa kept distracting her and well, that let James get the Mick Kick and that was that. Natalya goes down, which wasn't a bad match, but it wasn't a great one either.

The Authors of Pain Cut A Promo

They said they didn't want Titus Worldwide. But that's who came out. I love Dana Brooke, by the way. The guys ended up catching a beating, and Authors of Pain got thrown out of the ring by Titus Worldwide.

Mojo defeated Tyler Breeze

Tyler Breeze basically got jobbed out to Mojo, and that was that. It was a short match, and that's it.

Finn Balor defeated Drew McIntyre via Disqualification

This was a good match for the most part, but it would get ruined by a disqualification from Ziggler. After Balor was starting to win, and then got thrown off of his game, Seth Rollin ran down and beat up Drew McIntyre, and ran off the duo.

Of course this prompted Kurt Angle to play the Teddy Long Card. He decided to make a new match that was a straight up tag match, playa, playa!

Seth Rollins and Finn Balor defeated Drew McIntyre and Dolph Ziggler

Well, this was a match. It was fast paced, it had a lot of action, and honestly, McIntyre and Ziggler caught a beat down with Rollins getting the big win this time around. It was a fun match, but I feel that it didn't matter as much as I'd like. I'm seriously tired of seeing Ziggler, as he's a loser. But then again, McIntyre looks great right now, I hope he continues to get a push.

Ember Moon defeated Liv Morgan

This was another short match, but it was effective. Ember Moon was able to throw down against Liv Morgan, and the Eclipse hit hard, with Morgan getting knocked out and that was that. Liv MOrgan is hot, by the way. Just saying. Moon is so strong and athletic, I'm impressed.

Elias played a song.

This was ok, I guess. Elias has an album out. He got cut short, as he wasn't able to get moving forward throughout the night.

Roman Reigns defeated Bobby Lashley

This was a different type of match than their match at Extreme Rules. There were 3 Superman Punches here and Lashley was still standing. There was a spear from both men, and after some back and forth, it was Reigns that hit a mega spear at around the 2 hour and 22 minute mark or rather that the third hour and boom, Lashley was defeated. Bobby Lashley threw down a great offensive match, but he lost here, and that was that. He would shake Roman Reign's hand and that was that. Reigns gets another shot at Brock Lesnar, and that's that.

Overall, Raw wasn't that great, but it didn't completely suck either. I didn't hate it, but I didn't love it either. It was just there.

WWE Monday Night Raw July 10, 2018 Results and Review The Roman Show

Alexa Bliss with The Kendo Stick - SRC WWE dot com 

We started the night with a package featuring Roman and Bobby Lashley and their feud. Then we got to see them in the back. Roman said he was going to his Ring to call out Lashley, and then we saw the two banter, but mainly it was Bobby saying he was ready to take on Reigns. That of course led to the arena opening as we are in Boston, MA that started with Roman Reigns coming out to the arena.

WWE Monday Night Raw July 10, 2018 Results and Review

Roman Reigns came out and started to call out Bobby Lashley, which was stupid. It's the Roman show, isn't it? Ugh.

Roman calls out Lashley, and then the whole locker room comes out to seperate Roman and Lashley and it's insane. Roman did show some great things, he jumped over the top rope and into a crowd of guys, which was a lot like The Undertaker's jump at WWF Ground Zero from 1997. I'm not sure who is going to go over, but something tells me that Roman Reigns is going to get a good win with a spear, right? The brawling continued here, and the crowd was into it, and you know what? Why not? Sure they are going to fight, because they think that they are better than one another. Got it.

Nia Jax and Natalya defeated Alexa Bliss and Mickie James

The match was basically a lot of Nia Jax getting the most of the women, and Natalya limited in the ring. Alexa and Mickie did a few things well here, but after Nia would win, Alexa jumped her with a kendo stick. The Kendo stick beat down was the best part of the match, and I loved that. Great stuff overall. Other than that, the match was a bit boring to me. Mickie James is always good, but the rest, meh.

Mojo Rawley defeated No Way Jose

This was a hard hitting match, and it was kind of back and forth. Now Way Jose tried his best, but Rawley was not to be thwarted, and he eventually hit the Alabama Slam, and boom, it was all done within a short span. Not a bad match at all, mind you.

Sasha and Bayley are still in counseling, and it sucked.

Seth Rollins came out to talk, and I was not thrilled, I didn't care. Dolph came out, and so did Drew McIntyre, and they started to talk trash. This went back and forth and a match was set up. I didn't care for this, too much talking if you ask me.

Bo Dallas defeated Matt Hardy

Another match in which the B team was able to take on the veterans and win. This was a match that had Matt Hardy winning most of it, and then out of the blue, Dallas would get the win. This wasn't terrible, but it's a bit predictable and I'm tired of it, so meh. That's all I can say about this, meh. Dallas wins, the other guys beat them up and that was that.

Ember Moon defeated Liv Morgan

Ember Moon wins again, and this time she was able to throw down a lot of offense, and eventually did a move that was nothing short of impressive. She did a pinning combination that had her spiked, then flipped over and in a bridge. You have to see it to believe it, it was so good. Liv Morgan nearly broke a nose, which was rough, but the match was good.

Corbin and Elias were tagging together, and Elias played a lullabye with Corbin. Wow. This was a stinker.

Corbin and Elias defeated Finn Balor and Bobby Roode

A good back and forth match, with some good overall fighting. I liked the fighting, and it was definitely better than I thought it would be. Corbin would end up getting the win with Elias on his side, and it was what you would expect. Fast pacing, movement, and so much more, although midway through the match there was an ad for the ppv with Roman Reigns and Bobby Lashley at the helm.

Drew McIntyre defeated Seth Rollins

Well, this was a good closing match, with lots of action and great timing from the two veterans of the ring. Dolph Ziggler was on the outside and tried interfering, and helped get his team member a great shot in the process, but honestly, this match needed a bit more time if you ask me. It had some good moments, and while there was some high spots, it was your standard Rollins match, with McIntyre showing he's ready for the big time. I liked it. Rollins would get a loss here and McIntyre would hit his finisher to close out raw, and make it a night.

At the end of the day, this wasn't a terrible show at all. I didn't hate it, but I found that there was a lot left to be desired in terms of wrestling. As for that ending, and the rest of the show, it is what it is, it's the Roman hour of sorts, but there's a lot to mix in this time around. I had fun, and maybe that's the best thing.

WWE Monday Night Raw used to be the A show, the flagship show, the show that you couldn’t miss. It was the better show between WCW Nitro and others. Then they got lazy. They have gotten so lazy, in fact, that this is one of for the ages in terms of bad. There was some seriously bad things on this show, and you know what? I’m going to talk about the good, the bad, and the bad, because that’s what I found to be true about this show, and not since WCW had some insane things, has it been this bad.

WWE Monday Night Raw July 2, 2019 Results and Review

Let’s get things started with the opening. It had Roman Reigns, yes, Reigns talking a lot of BOB in his opener, and I didn’t want to hear it. I got tired of it, but hey, it’s Reigns, he’s going to get attention no matter what. He talked trash, that prompted Dolph Ziggler to show up, they got into a scuffle, and then we got some information for later on in the show, it will be Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns versus Dolph ZIggler and Drew Mcintyre, because they got the better of Roman.

Curtis Axel defeated Matt Hardy

Axel made fun of Hardy at first, then we had a B team match in which Matt Hardy lost. Axel won in a fast match, and that’s about it. There’s not a whole lot I can say about this. It was ok at best.

Dr. Shelby Showed UP To Work With Bayley and Sasha in Counseling

I kid you not. This sucked.

The Authors or Pain defeat Titus Worldwide

This was another short match, and it ended with Titus Worldwide jobbing out again. Yay, more jobbing.

Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins defeated Dolph ZIggler and Roman Reigns

This wasn’t a terrible match, it had some great exciting moments, but what I didn’t like was the ending. The Revival showed up out of the crowd and beat up Roman Reigns, and then Rollins got a beat down too. These two guys got beat down, and that was that. The match ended in a DQ finish, and that was that. This was a good match, with a lot of back and forth, mind you, it just had a terrible ending.

Baron Corbin Apology

Baron Corbin wanted an apology from Finn Balor. He instead got beat up a little, and that was that. They’ll fight sooner than later, I’m sure.

Ember Moon defeated Liv Morgan

This was a good women’s match, a lot better than I would have expected, but what gets me is that Liv Morgan loses here, and the Riott Squad may be left without their leader if she can’t heal the MCL issue. This was an ok match, don’t get me wrong, it just didn’t feature the way I thought it would, and honestly, I don’t understand why factions can’t beat single people.

Roman Reigns and Bobby Lashley defeated The Revival via DQ

Well, another DQ finish, and this time around Roman Reigns got a beat down from The Revival and Bobby Lashley walked out on him, as you’d expect. Fun stuff here, I guess.

Mojo Rawley beat up No Way Jose

Yep. I give up.

Nia Jax defeated Mickie James

This had a good match feel to it, and the two worked well enough together, the match had back and forth action, but in the end, Nia Jax was able to finish of James, even with Alexa Bliss on her side.

Braun Strowman defeated Kevin Owens via count out

This was awful. Owens looks like a chicken, he ran off, and hid in a porta potty, then it was knocked off the stage. That’s it. This is how they ended Raw. Not even Vince Russo could think of this.

Well, that was a bad Raw. There’s not a whole lot to say, but I did come up with a theory.

Ronda Rousey, this weekend, is going to cost Nia Jax the title, because she not only wants to beat up Alexa, she wants to take her title too. Watch for the swerve this weekend as Rousey will be at Extreme Rules, in the front row, according to the story. Oh and Raw wasn’t grand, but there were a few bright spots, just awful finishes. No Elias match, lame.

We are here again, reviewing Raw. I’m sorry if you guys missed me, I was catching up on all the things from Chicago and what not. I was at NXt and Money in The Bank. It was a great thing for me, and needed the break from writing. WWE Monday Night Raw came through San Diego, California and it started with a lot of talking, again.

WWE Monday Night Raw June 25, 2018 Results and Review

The show started with Kurt Angle and Baron Corbin, then they were interrupted by Roman Reigns and Bobby Lashley. Kurt Angle couldn’t get a word out without getting interrupted, and of course, this is how Raw always shows up. Angle says that there will not be a multi-man match at Extreme Rules because of Brock Lesnar’s contract issues. I hate that dude. The two dudes were interrupted by The Revival. The Revival showed up and well, they were destined to lose.

The Revival defeated Bobby Lashley and Roman Reigns

The Revival was getting a beat down throughout the match, but they came together to get a few shots in against the makeshift duo. There was a bit of strife amidst the two, and what seemed like an easy win for the two powerhouses, turned bad when The Revival was able to get a pin, with a handful of tights. Not a bad match at all. The two were able to work together until the end, and that was that.

Curtis Axel defeated Woken Matt Hardy

I have no idea what this was all about. Curtis Axel was able to beat Hardy, in a fast match. Like so fast, that it wasn’t much of a match at all. Hardy slipped or something, Axel fell on him and it was over.

The Authors of Pain defeated Jobbers

A job match! That’s it. The Authors of Pain win.

Alexa Bliss and Mickie James came out and started talking as per usual. Nothing crazy I guess. It was ok. Bliss then got interrupted by Natalya, and that led to the two women getting a singles match.

Natalya defeated Alexa Bliss

This was a fast paced match, with a few botches. Natalya was able to get the win after some back and forth action, mainly because Nia Jax helped her cheat. After Bliss was tripped by Jax, Natalya slapped on the sharpshooter and made Bliss tap.

The Riott Squad interrupted a photo shoot of Jinder Mahal and broke a camera. That was kind of funny, I liked it. They are so punk, aren’t they? Note the sarcasm.

The Riott Squad defeated Sasha Banks, Bayley, and Ember Moon

This was your standard six man tag, and it was somewhat short. There was a lot of action early on, and then a distraction roll up and that was that. The women cleared the ring, with the exception of Bayley and Sasha. Bayley lost it, and started to beat the hell out of Sasha Banks. She even said that Sasha wasn’t SHIT! I loved it. It’s about time! The crowd went nuts for this, and I did too, Bayley needs a mean streak.

Kevin Owens and Braun Strowman defeated Finn Balor and Baron Corbin by Countout

Strowman and Owens made for a good team, and beat up the competition for the most part. Balor and Corbin couldn’t get along after some time, and end up losing via countout when they were outside fighting one another.

After the match, Kevin Owens wanted to befriend Strowman, so he ran and that was that, for a moment. So Kevin Owens runs outside and tries to leave, but he finds out that his car was tipped over by Strowman. Yep.

Mojo Rawley refused to fight No Way Jose

Yep that’s it.

Seth Rollins defeated Dolph Ziggler by DQ

This was a good 30 minute match, but guess what? Ziggler would end up keeping the title when Drew McIntyre pulled the ref and caused the disqualification. Overall, this was a fun match, and there was a lot of back and forth. This was a great match, and it was definitely going to be something that Rollins could’ve won, if it weren’t for McIntyre coming in. This was a great main event, and would eventually get Roman Reigns running in to help Rollins. Overall, however, the match was great, and despite the DQ finish, it was worthy of the main event of Raw.

I’ve read a lot of negative things about Monday Night Raw. I’m not in that camp. This was a fun show, and had a great main event. There was a lot to offer here, and while there were a few highs and lows, the offering was good. I didn’t like that they didn’t have Elias in there, he should’ve cost Rollins the match, but oh well. It was an OK night of wrestling at best.

WWE Monday Night Raw May 28, 2018 Results and Review They Make Money Anyways

Another Monday Night Raw is in the books, and this time around there’s a lot to talk about right? Well, there were a few notes that I enjoyed, but for the most part, this was a lackluster show that tried very hard to move forward with the stories that they had been promoting in the past. There’s a lot of people that weren’t shown at all, and that’s something to consider overall. Other than that, all I can say to start this is that the company will be making money no matter what. That’s something that is going to drive a lot of the reviews of Raw, if they are honest.

WWE Monday Night Raw May 28, 2018 Results and Review

Finn Balor defeated Braun Strowman via DQ

There was a disqualification in this match, and it was going very good for the most part. I though thit was a fine match. Kevin Owens kept running his mouth on this one, so it became a little bit of a tussle with outside interference. I don’t think Balor would’ve gone over, but it would’ve been nice to see him get the big win if you ask me.

Jinder Mahal defeated Seth Rollins via DQ

Another DQ finish? Yep! This was a good fight and it was mainly because Rollins can make anyone look good. Rollins was able to throw down a great deal of offense, but Mahal impressed me a little with how he fought off Rollins at times. You can’t take anything away from him that’s for certain. Mahal held his own, and with the help of one of the Singh Brothers, he was able to garner a DQ finish, and won the match. He didn’t win the title, but hey, a win is a win.

Nia Jax defeated A Jobber

Nia Jax beat up a jobber while getting on the mic to taunt Ronda Rousey. Nothing major here.

Woken Matt Hardy and Bray Wyatt defeated The Ascension

This was a throw away match that ended like you would expect. The Ascension lost this one and that’s that.

Kevin Owens defeated Bobby Roode

This was an interesting match with a lot of back and forth. In the end, however, Roode was taken down a notch and that was the end of this one, that’s for sure. Not bad, but not great either.

Sami Zayn apologized

This again?

Drew McIntyre defeated Chad Gable

This was a burial if you ask me. Gable got beat down and that was that. McIntyre is a beast!

Sasha Banks won the Gauntlet Match for the Money In The Bank Spot

This was a fun main event and the women did well here, and of course it was Sasha Banks that would get the final win with a submission.

Overall, the night wasn’t half bad, and I liked the bigger picture, but it just seemed like the WWE was phoning things in if you ask me.

WWE Monday Night Raw May 21, 2018 Results and Review The Billion Dollar Play

The show opened up with Kurt Angle and Stephanie McMahon. She told Roman Reigns that he lost and he should take things up with Jinder Mahal. Of course, that meant someone was coming out, but it wasn't Mahal, it was Kevin Owens. I hate talking segments on Raw, and so sick of these things that keep coming through. This is like a parody that South Park did. Stephanie McMahon would get upset by Kevin Owens coming out, and decided to make a match, and that was next. The match would feature Roman Reigns and Kevin Owens. A good start to the show, but it took roughly 16 minutes to get to the match.

WWE Monday Night Raw May 21, 2018 Results and Review

Roman Reigns vs. Kevin Owens Ended in a No Contest

This match was a good opener. Roman Reigns looked strong throughout the match, and Kevin Owens was getting beat up for the most part. While there were some moments where Owens hit Roman with some hard shots, you could tell that Roman was being relegated to win this one, as he kept getting the upper hand through the counters. Jinder Mahal would come down and mess things up for Roman Reigns, but after that, Seth Rollins came down to help his buddy Roman, and that was that. I'm not sure why Rollins cares all of a sudden, but apparently he does now.

Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins defeated Kevin Owens and Jinder Mahal

You would think that Teddy Long came down and set this up, because when the commercial break ended, we had ourselves a "straight up" tag team match, playas! That's right, a full scale beat down of Roman Reigns and Rollins, as Owens and Jinder were able to isolate the Big Dog for this one. It was a fun tag match, and while it wasn't the best one ever, it was definitely good for what it was, a long bout with some focus on Reigns getting beat up while Rollins had to wait for the hot tag. Rolins would get the big win here and that's that. I didn't really care for the ending, but I guess that's that. Roman Reigns and Rollins gets cheered.

Jinder Mahal came out after the match, and hit Roman Reigns with a chair and beat up Rollins as well. Jinder Mahal just kept hitting Reigns with a chair and that was that. I liked that part of the show.

Sami Zayn and Bobby Lashley's Sisters

This perhaps is the worst thing I've seen since Bayley, this is your life. This was just sad. I don't even want to talk about it. It was the worst.

Ember Moon defeated Alexa Bliss

Well, that's the end of Alexa Bliss. This was a cool match, but Bliss lost this one, after Ember Moon was able to turn the tables and hit her finisher on Bliss. I was impressed, Alexa Bliss was crying, and wow, Ember Moon is good. I hope to see more of her on Raw.

Baron Corbin defeated No Way Jose

This was a slow moving match, and No Way Jose ended up losing big time here. Corbin hit End of Days, and well that was that. This was a short match, and it was made even shorter with a commercial.

The B Team defeated Breezango

A quick match with The B Team celebrating, and that's it. Not bad, not great, just kind of there.

The Women's Title Match Signing

This was boring. Nothing happened here. I will be at Money In The Bank, however.

Elias defeated Bobby Roode

This was a good match, and was happy to see that Elias was able to go through Bobby Roode. Roode definitely did well here, but Elias was the one that was getting the win, and he did so with Drift Away. Roode is great at wrestling, and Elias is definitely no slouch, that's for sure. I liked this match. I like Elias, I am walking with Elias!

Braun Strowman defeated Finn Balor

This was a fun match for what it was. Balor kept fighting against Strowman, and it just looked like he was going to be the aggressor throughout, but Strowman kept fighting back. Over the course of this match, a lot went down, with both guys showcasing the best of their offense, including several big moves from Balor to Strowman on the floor. However, Strowman wasn't to be beaten yet again.

Well, there you have it, Raw was nothing big, and well, it was a show. I didn't hate it, but I didn't love it either. I think that there's better ways to use the roster, but alas, it had a few moments, I guess.

WWE Monday Night Raw May 7, 2018 Results and Review

Balor Into The Crowd - SRC WWE 

The flagship show had to be better than what the WWE offered at Backlash, right? Well a lot of people were saying the same thing, and that’s what we kind of got, a show that was better than the sum of Backlash, but not without a few holes here and there. Whatever the case is, the qualifying matches for Money In The Bank have begun.

WWE Monday Night Raw May 7, 2018 Results and Review

When will there be a show where they don’t just go into talking? This is a stupid thing to work with, and something that I hate. But hey we got another show that started with talking, what can I say? I hate it, and that’s it.

Braun Strowman defeated Kevin Owens

The only good that came out of the talking was a setup for this match. This match was a knock out brawl with Strowman taking on Owens and basically running rough shot for a few moments. Owens would get a comeback here and there, but it was all Strowman that was going to get the win here, and boy did he ever. He gets the win against Owens, and I wonder how much they are paying him to extend his contract another 5 years, and then lose like he is losing.

Baron Corbin and The Revival defeated No Way Jose and Titus Worldwide

This was a fast paced, back and forth match with a lot of action. It wasn’t a hard one to watch, but it certainly had an upside, with lots of action. This was a short match, and of course you saw the big win coming with Baron Corbin pinning No Way Jose. I have a feeling that No Way Jose is not going to make a splash in the WWE main roster, but that’s just my two cents at the present.

Ember Moon defeated Sasha Banks and Ruby Riott

This match of the night for my money was definitely the women’s triple threat, at least that’s my humble opinion. Though there were some slow moments, the majority of the match was back and forth, with lots of offense, and of course Ruby Riott throwing down some incredible moves and timing. Sasha Banks and Ember Moon were good too, and the end result was good with a nice finisher to both Riott and Banks, with Ember Moon getting the win and now going to be in the ladder match in June. I loved this match. It was a nice one for the ladies. Oh, and at one point the Riott Squad interfered and caused Bayley to run down and try to save Banks, to mostly no avail, but at least gave it her best shot.

This was just Lashley talking about his life, and his sisters. Good for him.

Jinder Mahal defeated Chad Gable

This wasn’t much of a match, a quick one with Mahal getting a lot of the offense in and eventually picking up the win. Chad Gable threw down some good moves, but it was Mahal that was going to get the win here, and we all knew it.

Dolph Ziggler and Drew McIntyre defeated Heath Slater and Rhyno

Even though there was 10,000 plus people chanting “He’s Got Kids”, and going crazy for Slater and Rhyno, the WWE decided to let McIntyre and Ziggler basically run rough shot through the team. They are basically jobbers now, and I just don’t get it.

Bobby Roode defeated Elias

Another good match here, with Bobby Roode finally get revenge for what Elias was doing to him this whole time. The whole thing was back and forth, with lots of action, and eventually the Glorious DDT that put away Elias for good in this match.

Seth Rollins defeated Mojo Rawley

This was another decent match for Raw, and Seth Rollins opened up a challenge for his title and was answered by Mojo. This was a fast paced, back and forth match, and it had a lot of great spots, including Mojo nearly pinning Rollins at one point. Mojo is quite good since the last time I saw him, and was able to make serious moves against the Intercontinental Champion, but of course, Rollins would get the win here, and it was quite good overall.

Matt Hardy and Bray Wyatt defeated Curtis Axel and Bo Dallas

Back to being jobbers with Bo and Curtis, what can I say? A weak match.

Finn Balor defeated Roman Reigns and Sami Zayn in a triple threat match

This was a fun match with a lot of action, even spilling into the crowd for some brawling. Zayn and Balor isolated Reigns at one point and was able to garner a great deal of success with their offense, and would eliminate him for most of the match. But of course he’d come back and it looked like he was going to win, but then out of nowhere Jinder Mahal would come out and cost him the match, leaving Zayn to get pinned by Balor for the win, and that was Raw!

Overall, this wasn’t a bad night of wrestling, and it made up for the lackluster show from Backlash. I really enjoyed the longer matches, and good segments on Raw this week, and think it was a better showing than I’ve seen in a while from the WWE. Quality night of wrestling that’s for sure.
