I don’t follow a lot of people on Twitter, but based on who I do follow, this show wasn’t grand. But was it that bad? Let’s find out!

WWE Monday Night Raw August 13, 2018 Results and Review

The opening of the show featured Ronda Rousey, and of course the crowd gave her a huge ovation. The announce table got Renee Young, and it was cool to see a woman in the booth. Ronda went into the ring to talk, and I immediately cringed. She should not be TALKING! Ugh. WWE knows how to ruin things, don’t they?

Alexa Bliss comes out and talks. She runs down Ronda Rousey and then introduced her security team. They sucked, because Ronda beat the hell out of them, showing off their Judo abilities.

Alexa Bliss was scheduled for a match with Ember Moon, and that would open the show after the 12 minute mark or so, because of course, we need to have talking.

Sometimes I feel like I’m watching WCW. Why? Because, the WWE continues to have matches that don’t get finished. They get ruined during a good thing. I recently saw a match with Rey Mystery Jr and Vampire from Nitro, and it was going really well, and some great moments were found, only for the match to get thrown out due to interference. The same thing happened here, as Ronda Rousey and Alicia Fox were involved in the match, and caused it to get thrown out. Ember Moon looked good here, and almost pinned Bliss after her finisher, but alas, Fox came in and messed things up, so that was the end of that. The announcers immediately glossed over this, and noted that Rousey will be facing Bliss this weekend. She did rag doll Fox, which was fun to watch, but other than that, Bliss escapes without losing again. Moon is great to watch, by the way.

I am so tired of Talking and Recaps!

Yet again, we are seeing recaps, and rewinds, as well as talking and it’s stupid. Raw wastes a lot of time between wrestling, and you really don’t feel like you’re watching a wrestling show.

Baron Corbin defeated Tyler Breeze

Breeze got a little bit of offense in this match, but it was Corbin that would get the last laugh as he won with the Deep Six. He was winded after a short match. Breeze loses again, and well, he’s lost as there’s no more fashion files, and there’s no more Fandango. After the match Baron Corbin got on the mic, and introduced Jinder Mahal. This was not a great match, but hey, I liked the finish, Deep Six is a great move, and he won, yet again. I didn’t doubt that would happen. Also introduced, was Kevin Owens. Jinder and Owens would face off against Finn Balor in a handicap match. How is Owens still fat? Braun Strowman got into the match.

Braun Strowman and Finn Balor defeated Jinder Mahal and Kevin Owens

You knew that Strowman and Balor wouldn’t lose. They didn’t, they rolled right through Owens and Mahal, and well, I guess that’s the story that we always get. At this point, I don’t know who’s going to win at Summerslam, or should I say, Summerfest. Either way, Strowman took out both Mahal and Owens here, and Balor was a non-sequitur in many ways. An ok match at best, and well, I didn’t care. I’m too tired to care. After the match Corbin hit the End of Days on Balor, and that was that. Balor was left laying in the ring, and he should just go back to NJPW if you ask me. They would give him a better shot than just letting him take falls and look like a chump against Corbin every week.

Random Jobber Gets Killed By Lashley

There was supposed to be a match here, as the Elias segment. But nope. Lashley beat down some random jobber, even though the job hit Lashley with a guitar shot to the head. This wasn’t a match, just a beat down and that was that.

The B Team defeated The Deleters of Worlds, and The Revival in a Triple Threat Match

For such a compelling matchup, they weren’t given much time. The whole thing seemed to last very little time, but they managed to put in some good spots. The match’s greatest spot had to be a superplex off the top rope from Hardy on one of the Revival members, into their opponents on the floor. It was one hell of a shot, and it’s quite the moment. Other than that, this was your standard tag team match with The B Team winning at the end.

Roman Reigns came out, and the fans were booing, as usual. I booed from home. I am tired of hearing, “here comes the Big Dog”, ugh. Michael Cole still sucks after all of these years. Paul Heyman came out and tried to get Roman Reigns to join him, but instead, he sprayed him in the face with something, and that was that. All this time to get Roman Blinded, then out came Brock Lesnar, and while Roman was blinded, he hit Roman with the F5 and the crowd was not cheering for Roman. They cheered for Brock yet again. Well, there you have it, another beat down on Roman, did you expect anything else? Meh. Just meh.

Apollo Crews, Titus Oneill and Bobby Roode defeated The AOP and Some Other Dude

This match was so fast, that I blinked and it was done. Yeah, this match sucked to say the least. It was too fast. Meh. Nothing to report here folks.

Ruby Riott defeated Sasha Banks

Ruby Riott got a blood nose in this match, but other than that, you’re going to find that the match was back and forth, with lots of fighting, and in the end, Riott was able to win over Banks. That’s really because of outside interference, let’s be honest. This match was short, and well, it ended in a distraction roll up.

The Contract Signing of Rollins and Ziggler

We ended the show without wrestling. It was a contract signing, and we saw Dan Ambrose return. Meh. Just meh. This was the go home show for Summerslam. This sucks. Lame.

Raw was tiring. Terrible, just awful, and yet we all watch it.

Monday Night Raw April 9, 2018 Results and Review

Monday Night Raw after Wrestlemania is usually a good thing, and honestly, it didn’t feel like it was 9 hours long for a change. Let’s consider the Monday Night Raw after Wrestlemania here before I get to Ring of Honor and Joey Janela’s Spring Break 2.

Monday Night Raw April 9, 2018 Results and Review

The opening of the show had Stephanie McMahon trolling the audience and then introducing Ronda Rousey. Rousey showed up and then put McMahon into an armbar and got her to tap again, and it got the crowd going nuts.

Nia Jax and Ember Moon defeated Alexa Bliss and Mickie James

This was an incredible match that showcased Ember Moon’s skills, and really made Jax look good too. Ok, incredible is a bit much, but I’m still high from the NXT Takeover show. Good overall match, not a long one, but enough to get Ember Moon over as a newcomer.

No Way Jose defeated a Jobber

No Way Jose beat a jobber and danced. I liked it.

The Revival defeated The Club Sandwich Boys in a Tag Team Eliminator Match

There’s a tournament for the number one contenders to the titles, and the Revival fought their long time rivals the Club Sandwich boys. The Revival won after they hit their finale, and that was that. It was a short match with a fast finish and that’s it.

The Miz, Seth Rollins, and Finn Balor were talking in the ring and Jeff Hardy showed up, making a match for later. This wasn’t bad, but it was more talking.

Mandy Rose defeated Sasha Banks

This wasn’t bad, Mandy Rose was able to beat Sasha Banks thanks to Bayley’s outside interference, and that was that.

Bobby Lashley attacked Elias

Elias showed up and sang a bit before Bobby Lashley showed up and beat him down and that was that. Nice to see Lashley back, that’s for sure.

The Authors of Pain defeated Heath Slater and Rhyno

This was a burial, nothing more. I can’t believe how far the former Smackdown Champions have fallen.

Samoa Joe cut a promo on Roman Reigns

Cool!

Matt Hardy and Bray Wyatt defeated Titus Worldwide in a Tag Team Eliminator Match

We very well may see Matt Hardy and Bray Wyatt get the tag team titles next. The two are now Woken and are a team, and they beat up Titus Worldwide in a short match.

Kevin Owens vs. Sami Zayn ended in a No Contest

This was interesting, as the winner will get a job on Raw. Neither won, as there was a double 10 count loss, and while the match was good as per usual, the ending was kind of dumb.

Seth Rollins, Finn Balor, and Jeff Hardy defeated The Miz and The Miztourage

A great match this was not. It was good, but not great. The good guys flew through the ring and controlled a lot of it, including Jeff Hardy throwing down all of his moves and getting the crowd to go completely nuts for the tag team work that the guys did here. The Miz and Miztourage lose again.

Overall, Raw wasn’t too bad, and it was better than most weeks. However, it’s not something that I loved, and it didn’t have the same gusto that you’d get with other nights after Mania. It was good though, don’t get me wrong.

WWE Monday Night Raw March 26, 2018 Results and Review The Big Dumb Machine

After watching 4 hours plus of New Japan, I had high hopes for WWE. I was invigorated by the raw wrestling that was found on the New Japan Show, but here, wow, this was not the same at all. I was tired, and while the show wasn’t 4 hours, it felt like 9 hours long and it was definitely awful at times. Let’s discuss how good or bad the night aw.

WWE Monday Night Raw March 26, 2018 Results and Review

The show opened up with the tired old speech of Paul Heyman. I am tired of him. He was in the ring talking up Brock Lesnar, and talking smack about how Roman Reigns wasn’t there. Roman Reigns then showed up and tried to knock out Lesnar, but it was not to be. Lesnar beat the bricks out of Roman Reigns yet again and was in the middle standing tall. That’s it. Lesnar was tall with the dumb red belt, and that was the end.

Nia Jax defeated Mickie James

This was a quick match, not like most other girls’ matches! Nia Jax beats down Mickie James in a few moves, and then Alexa Bliss showed up to try and beat her up, but to no avail. This was a simple match with not a lot to it, and James just basically got beat down.

Cedric Alexander and Mustafa Ali defeated Drew Gulak and JTP

This was a fast match. It was so fast, that if you wen to the bathroom, you missed this match. This was a match that had a great deal of back and forth, and it was finished quickly with Mustafa Ali stealing a pin that was supposed to be made for Alexander. There wasn’t much to this match, and like I said, it was very short.

Asuka defeated Jamie Frost

Asuka knocked out a jobber.

Matt Hardy came on the screen and said he’d be in the Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal.

Sasha Banks and Bayley Backstage

This was dumb. Sasha Banks and Bayley were in front of some lockers and they talked, only to have Sasha Banks turn on her, and the two brawled with referees coming to separate them. That’s the end of that friendship, right? I guess so.

Braun Strowman defeated Sheamus

Sheamus is supposed to be wrestling with spinal stenosis and yet here he is going toe to toe with Braun Strowman. This was a boring back and forth match, until Strowman ended up hulking up, so to speak and getting the big powerslam and that’s it. Good for him.

Absolution Confronted Ronda Rousey

This was dumb. Absolution showed up and tried to get in the ring, but Ronda nearly pulled out Mandy Rose’s arm, and that’s that.

The Club Sandwich Boys defeated The Miztourage

This was a boring match. It was so boring that I almost fell asleep. The Miztourage are nothing but jobbers, and looked like they weren’t on the same team here. The Club Sandwhich boys win big and that’s it.

Elias defeated Rhyno

Guess who won here? Rhyno loses, and Elias kicks his partner afterwards too. Elias sang a cool song at first, but man, he just rolled through the jobber, Rhyno at this point.

John Cena defeated Kane in a NO DQ Match

This was a slow moving match, but Kane was able to knock out Cena several times. The two were able to go back and forth in and out of the ring, and it was a nice street fight so to speak. There were a few table breaks, a guard rail suplex, and then an AA through a table for the end result. Kane loses here, and it was an entertaining match, that ended without an Undertaker appearance overall.

MIZ TV happened mid-show, and it was good. It had me thinking that the Miztourage were breaking up, but alas, that wasn’t meant to be at all. It’s something that is quite fascinating to look into, that’s for sure. Could that be something for the future? I don’t know. Miz had Finn Balor and Seth Rollins as guests, and that was that. Nothing to see here folks, lol.

Overall, Raw was a labor to watch compared to NJPW’s show from Sunday. It was fun to watch that show, this wasn’t fun to watch, it was labored and boring. I’m not ready for Wrestlemania, I’m ready to get past it, even though I will be at Money In The Bank and All In when it goes down in Chicago!

Monday Night Raw March 19, 2018 Results and Review The Ultimate Deletion Showcase

Why is it that Monday Night Raw feels like it’s 10 hours long? Even the HULU version is long. This time, I did not make the mistake of watching this thing on Hulu, I was able to watch the whole thing, and well, there are some ups and downs that you should definitely consider when looking at Monday Night Raw from Monday, March 19.

Monday Night Raw March 19, 2018 Results and Review

Brock Lesnar Beat The Bricks off Roman Reigns

Kurt Angle came down to say that Roman shouldn’t be there, and that Lesnar hasn’t arrived. Roman ran his mouth and was then handcuffed by U.S. Marshals. They got handsy with old Roman and he fought them before Brock Lesnar showed up and then beat the bricks off of Roman Reigns, all while he was handcuffed. The fans chanted “You deserved it”, and it’s sad to see that the main event at Wrestlemania may get booed out of the building. I’m not a fan of either these guys right now. This was a cold beat down, and there was no way for Roman to defend himself. I’m shocked at the level of violence allowed here.

Asuka defeated Alexa Bliss via Count Out

Before the match, Alexa Bliss and a fine looking Mickie James were in the ring. She talked about how she had no remorse for talking negatively about Nia Jax. During her promo out came Asuka and she went one on one with Alexa Bliss. If you’re going to build an unstoppable winning machine, why is she taking so much offense from everyone? When they did this with Goldberg, he wasn’t getting slim wins, but that’s how Asuka is getting booked right now. This was actually really good, despite it all, and Alexa eventually just walked out. She was on her way out when Nia Jax showed up to get revenge, and when she ran, Mickie James got caught and got a beat down. Asuka wins, and that’s the big thing here, but James got beat by Nia Jax so there’s that.

Braun Strowman defeated Cesaro

Cesaro was able to garner a win here, and it wasn’t too hard for him. He also stated that he has a partner for Wrestlemania. I am hoping it’s James Ellsworth.

The Revival defeated Titus Worldwide

What would you expect from two jobbers facing off against NXT Elite? I thought for sure the Revival was going to get buried here, but nope, they didn’t. They were able to win with their finisher, and that was that. Titus Worldwide is officially at jobber status if you ask me.

Mandy Rose and Sonya Deville defeated Bayley and Sasha Banks

Before this match Sasha Banks got on the mic and said that she was Bayley’s best friend and that she wanted to be friend still, and Bayley talked about how it was hard to get there etc. This was stupid. Out came Mandy Rose and Sonya Deville and through some shenanigans, a distraction, and some back and forth wrestling, Absolution won and it caused a rift yet again to appear between Bayley and Banks! Paige looks flabby, by the way.

John Cena cut another promo.

John Cena cut a promo on the Undertaker and out came Kane. The Big Slow Machine chokesslammed John Cena and set up a match for next week, and that was that. Not good, not bad, just meh.

The Balor Club defeated The Miz and The Miztourage

The Miz cut the best promo of the night and called out Tyler Black and Prince Nevitte, which was purposely done I’m sure. The Balor Club showed up, which is made up of Finn Balor and the Club Sandwich boys. They would get the win here, but not without knocking out the MIztourage yet again, and getting the upper hand. They would get the pinfall win, but after the match the Miz and crew attacked Balor and that prompted Seth Rollins to come in for the save. The match was ok at best.

Woken Matt Hardy defeated Bray Wyatt in the Ultimate Deletion

This was a fun match, but it wasn’t as good as the TNA ones. It had a lot of brawling, some great introductions, and some nice little points of back and forth fighting and wrestling. There was more pyro here than any other time in WWE from the past year, mind you. Eventually Wyatt got a beat down and lost, getting thrown into the lake of reincarnation and disappearing. This was a great way to end Raw if you ask me. A great overall brawl if you ask me. Not bad, and good comedy, and great way to end what seemed like a 10 hour night of Raw.

Overall, Raw was good if you ask me. It wasn’t bad at times, and it progressed the stories that are going into Wrestlemania, with a focus on the ending with the Ultimate Deletion. However, I didn’t like how Michael Cole was hating on it, what a jerk. Other than that, the final was good, the beat down at the beginning was good, and the in between was just ok.

Three hours of WWE showed up in Iowa and from what I heard, it was snowy outside, but hot on the inside, just like a baked Alaska dessert. Right? Ok, bad joke, but let’s talk about the greater good of Raw, or the not-so greater good, as the three hour event came to television last night from Iowa, and I watched all of it. Here we go, let’s all walk with Elias and review WWE Monday Night Raw!

WWE Monday Night Raw February 6, 2018 Results and Review

Roman Reigns defeated Bray Wyatt

It was exactly what you thought it would be, and it was awfully good. The match wasn’t half bad, with both guys working their best with a passion for the business and a focus on hitting hard, and getting the crowd into it. Every move hit, every look and more was great here, and Roman Reigns won big. Roman Reigns won, and Bray Wyatt eats another pin, then gets deleted!

Finn Balor and Karl Anderson defeated Revival

The Revival was buried. That’s right, the Revival gets buried by Finn Balor and Karl Anderson, and that’s the end of that. Not a long match.

Cedric Alexander and Mustafa Ali defeated Drew Gulak and Tony Nese

Not a fast match, not a long one, just a great amount of action and that’s it. There was a lot of holds by Gulak and Nese, while Ali and Alexander tried to throw around their high flying moves. It wasn’t half bad, but it wasn’t great either. It was good enough if you ask me. A quick match with Maverick Drake on the mic, which was a nice change of pace.

Asuka defeated Bayley

This match was a good one, with Bayley hanging on for dear life at times, but throwing down Asuka’s offense as well. Asuka gave her some serious respect after the match by shaking her hand, but this was a great showcase for both women. Bayley is far better in ring than Sasha Banks at times, and it’s interesting to see the two matches back to back. Asuka is just amazing here.

The Miz defeated Apollo Crews

Crews was the young gun here and The Miz played smart veteran. The Miz won after capitalizing on a mistake that Crews made. Apollo Crews was making a lot of mistakes here, and it’s interesting to see how the whole match was put together. Crews would get the loss, but he still looked strong overall.

Cesaro and Sheamus defeated Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns via DQ

This was a good overall tag match, lots of action, some good back and forth, but it was not the night for The Shield. Jason Jordan came out and messed up the match for the Shield and they got disqualified. That was the end of those guys getting title shots, and we’ll have to see who is next for The Bar here. I’m not sure where it’s going to go.

Nia Jax defeated Vanessa Floyd

Jax beat down a jobber.

Mickie James defeated Sonya Deville

Another match that featured a veteran in ring performer taking on a rookie and making her pay. Sonya Deville was able to get a good deal of offense, but it was Mickie James that impressed me here. She’s quick, and was able to counter some of Deville’s offense, eventually getting a roll up win. After the match she got beat down by the Absolution crew, but Alexa Bliss came out to save her.

Elias defeated Braun Strowman and John Cena

Elias and Cena ganged up on Strowman and threw him out of the ring many times, and even hitting an AA on the steps. Elias and Cena battled for the most part of the match, and it was interesting how well this turned out. Elias would get the big win, but only after Strowman hit Cena with his running power slam, and that was that.

Afterwards Strowman left both men on the mat, but the end came with Elias pinning Cena. I kid you not. Cena is pinned by Elias!

This night of Raw had a lot more wrestling than most weeks, and I loved it. I actually enjoyed this week’s Raw, including the women’s matches, and that main event with a great ending, as I’m walking with Elias!

WWE Raw November 7, 2017 Results and Review The Logical Gap Widens

If you were to apply logic to the latest WWE booking, you would be sorely disappointed. I know I was today. This was an insane night of wrestling, and you know what? I didn’t even see the whole thing. I saw the HULU edition and was disappointed by the selection that they chose. There is logic issues that you may want to consider here. It’s odd.

WWE Raw November 7, 2017 Results and Review HULU Edition

First and foremost, the show opened up with Miz TV as the opening segment. Lots of talking, and random BS, with Kurt Angle saying that the Miz would have to fight Braun Strowman. But here’s the thing, I thought the title was on the line, but apparently it wasn’t. Oh well.

Jason Jordan defeated Elias in a Guitar On A Pole Match

This wasn’t shown on HULU

Asuka defeated Stacy Coates

This wasn’t on HULU

FInn Balor and Samoa Joe went to a double count out

Samoa Joe came out to cut a promo about how no one could beat him. He said that anyone that stood in front of him would get put down. He first took out Titus, but then out came Finn Balor aka Alex Wright 2.0. Now, this wasn’t crazy, mind you, it was just an average back and forth match, with lots of counters. The match went into a brawl and the refs came out to stop it, and it was a double count out. But Angle came out and said that they both were team members for Survivor Series. Not a great match, not a bad match.

Sasha Banks and Bayley defeated Alicia Fox and Nia Jax

This wasn’t bad. This was a good women’s match, but Jax once again is on the losing end, while Banks and Bayley got the win. Fox hits hard, I’m surprised how hard she hits the women, but she eventually tapped out, and then said that she wanted Banks on her team, not Bayley! So Banks will be on the Survivor Series team.

Braun Strowman defeated The MIz via DQ

Hey, remember that title match? NO? Good, because the title wasn’t on the line. I don’t know why they do this, but oh well. Strowman ran through The Miz, and then Kane came out to cause the disqualification. Strowman beat up Kane, then beat up the Miz and his crew. That was that. I don’t like the booking here, it doesn’t make sense. Why didn’t Miz just run with his belt, he survived it doesn’t matter any longer.

Pete Dunne defeated Enzo Amore

This wasn’t shown on HULU

Cesaro and Sheamus defeated Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose for the Raw Tag Team Titles

This wasn’t bad, mind you. It just wasn’t great. The match was ok, for what it was, and it featured a lot of action, back and forth moves, and some good moments. But the ending was baffling. Out comes the New Day in the crowd and gets on the MIC. Angle commands all of the Raw guys to come down to the ring and defend Raw, but in the middle of this, the match stops and out of nowhere a Brogue kick levels the champions, and boom, new title holders. That’s right, title change! Ok, sure, why not?

That’s the end of Raw, and you know, it felt like it was 9 hours long. Not a bad show, but logically it made no sense to me, but hey, it’s WWE and they do whatever the hell they want these days. I did like some of the action, but honestly, I’m tired of the same match ups over and over again.

WWE Monday Night Raw September 4, 2017 Results and Review Still Too Long of A Show

The Big Show vs. Braun Strowman - SRC WWE.com 

WWE Monday Night Raw was live from Omaha, and while this is the HULU review, I can’t say that I was fully entertained by the condensed version. Why? There was a lot of filler. I could not believe how much filler was placed in the 90 minutes that the show ran. I now present to you the following run down of what I remember from the show, which I just watched this morning. I couldn’t sleep last night, and all I could think about was reviewing this, and posting reviews on other pages, etc. So here we go, the night of wrestling based on the HULU edition of WWE Monday Night Raw.

WWE Monday Night Raw September 5, 2017 Results and Review

John Cena defeated Jason Jordan

Jason Jordan has a lot of talent, I will not take that away from him. However, the people do not care for him, even though he put on a showcase with Cena. Cena is always interesting to watch, especially this late in his career. Jordan got close several times, but perhaps the best spot here was the rolling Northern Lights Suplex to Bridge and pin combination. How Cena kicked out of that one is insane, since it looked devastating. I loved it. Cena wins, of course, but wow, Jordan still can’t get over.

Roman Reigns showed up and tried to trash talk Cena, but was still lambasted by John Cena.

Cesaor and Sheamus defeated Slater and Rhyno

HULU did not show this.

The Miz defeated Jeff Hardy

Not a bad match, but far from the best that these two can throw together. Hardy loses clean here, even after the Miz’s friends and Matt Hardy were thrown out. Not much to say here, a good overall match, but not the best. It was quick and easy for The Miz to get this win, even though Hardy is still looking good out there.

Enzo Amore, Cedric Alexander and Gran Metalik defeated Noam Dar, Tony Nese, and Drew Gulak

HULU did not show this.

Bray Wyatt Showed Up For A Promo

This was dumb. Wyatt challenged Balor, at No Mercy. Ok. I still think Finn is lesser than Alex Wright.

Nia Jax and Emma defeated Alexa Bliss and Sasha Banks

This was not a half bad match, but it was really the Nia Jax showcase. She was shown strong against Bliss and Banks, while Emma was getting a lot of the punishment from the unlikely pairing. Jax would get the final laugh, beating up everyone, and dropping people with her Samoan Drop. It was a fun little match, which will cause a 4-way for the title at No Mercy. This was ok at best, but it was entertaining enough.

Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins defeated The Club Sandwich Boys

HULU did not show this match.

Braun Strowman defeated The Big Show in a Steel Cage Match

This was a good overall match, with Strowman getting the big win. However, Show threw out some top rope moves, took a superplex, and finally a running power slam. Strowman looked strong in defeat, and then threw Show through the side of the cage. This wasn’t half bad, but it didn’t really impress me, since I know far too much about WWE has treated show when he came in. His run in WCW was great, with him doing missile dropkicks from the top rope.

Overall, Raw was in holiday mode. This was a boring night of wrestling, with a few highlights, but overall, it’s a throwaway show with a few good points. I liked the main event, and the women’s match, but that’s about it. I won’t remember this show for anything too crazy, that’s for sure.

Monday Night Raw August 21, 2017 Results and Review The Shortest HULU Version Ever

Monday Night Raw was booked in Brooklyn, New York yet again. The crowd was hot through the night, and they were given a lot of elements. This is a great night of wrestling, for those in attendance. But the HULU edition was cut very short, with a lot of talking, and very little wrestling. I’m not sure why, but hey, here I am to talk about the HULU edition of Monday Night Raw.

Braun Strowman interrupted the Brock Lesnar Speech, and that’s about it.

Enzo Amore defeated Big Cass in a Brooklyn Street Fight

Enzo and Cass didn’t get much time, as this wasn’t on Hulu. I saw it on Youtube, and this was interesting. Cass took a nasty dive to the outside and collapsed midway through the match. I’m guessing a torn ACL and MCL. I tore my ACL and collapsed as well in high school, so I can say this was at least a hyper-extension.

Elias defeated R. Truth

The Miz and Samoa Joe confronted John Cena and Roman Reigns

This was a long boring talking segment that was part of the HULU edition, and it just went long.

Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins defeated The Hardy Boyz

A great overall, fast paced match. It was fun to see these guys work, and while it was hard hitting, with great counters and in-ring psychology, pushing both teams in this one. In the end, Rollins and Ambrose won after stopping the Swanton, and boom.

Alexa Bliss confronted Sasha Banks

Banks just talked on the mic, and Alexa showed up. Meh. They didn’t brawl, and Alexa will get a rematch, just not tonight.

Finn Balor defeated Jason Jordan

Jordan wanted a match with Balor, and he got it. Balor ran right through Jordan, even though he was able to get a little offense. It wasn’t much though, it was bad. Balor’s dropkick wasn’t half bad, and Jordan got a beat down, and lost clean, in the middle of the ring. A good, fun match, but Jordan is just not over.

John Cena and Roman Reigns defeated The Miz and Samoa Joe

This was a fun match, and Reigns with Roman is a good pairing, that will lead them to face off against each other. Joe and MIz worked well enough, but it was obvious that Miz was going to eat a pin. He did, even though Cena was knocked out by Reigns on accident. Reigns and Joe fell to the outside, with a killer sequence that showed Reigns knocking out Joe from the Suicide Dive, and man, good stuff. Miz loses, here, even with his Miztourage on the outside trying to help.

There you have it, Monday Night Raw went down the hatch with minimal problems. I didn’t hate it, I didn’t love it, and the HULU version was very condensed. I liked that, but I didn’t think that the show was worth 3 hours of time. Overall, not a bad night of wrestling, some fun spots, and good things. Hopefully this brings about some more wrestling next week in Memphis. Oh, and I did forget to type the 205 Live match, but I didn't care, and you didn't either.

Wow, color me late again. This is a review that should’ve been up on Tuesday or Wednesday, but instead, it’s getting written right now. I’m late, and that’s because I had to once again sit through 5 hours of television to get through this. Or 4 hours, I don’t recall. Either way, here’s my review of the HULU version of Monday Night Raw, because you asked, or didn’t, I don’t know what is going on sometimes.

WWE Monday Night Raw August 14, 2017 Results and Review

Was there a talking segment to open things up? Maybe? I think it may have been Seth Rollins, and if it was, I was bored. Cesaor and Sheamus luckily came down to beat him up, but oh no, here comes Dean “Boring” Ambrose to stop it. I was not thrilled, as I think he’s been resting on his laurels for some time, and his in ring performances have bored me as of late. Rollins and Dean tease the fist bump, and then connect, because you know, the Shield reunion is going to be inevtible, and Roman Reigns will need them to win the title, if you ask me.

This set up a tag team title’s match for SummerSlam this year.

Sasha Banks defeated Nia Jax

They say that there was a women’s revolution in WWE, but you know what? Revolution means a full circle, and that’s what we are getting. This match was not that long, and it wasn’t believable to me. The match between Jax and Banks from Fastlane was far better if you ask me. However, this was good for what it was, and Jax loses again, while Banks goes on to face Alexa Bliss. It should be a no-dq match, but something tells me Little Miss Bliss is going to retain.

Elias attacked R-Truth

This was not on HULU.

Big Cass and the Club Sandwich Boys break Big Shows Arm.

You read that right. There’s not much I can say about that. Big Cass did cut one good promo, though. Although, it was hard to pay attention to him, as he was “orange”. I kid you not. That spray tan was too much.

Bray Wyatt defeated Finn Balor

This was a dumb match. Balor barely got in any offense, and Bray Wyatt just easily beat him with a crotch shot and Sister Abigail. I still think that Wyatt should get a real Sister Abigail to show up, and he should also team up with Bo Dallas. Wishful thinking on my part, which will likely never happen, I’m sure. Bray Wyatt wins, then pores blood on Balor. But wait! The commentary team did not say anything about this. The HULU version edited out the commentary teams statements, so you didn’t hear them say acid, or whatever it is that people on twitter said. Who cares, this is a boring feud. I hear the Demon is coming at Summerslam, ok. Sure. Finn Balor is nothing more than Alex Wright 2.0 if you ask me.

Akira Tozawa defeated Neville for the WWE Cruiserweight Championship

Tozawa is a great character, and he can really put on a show. This match, wasn’t that great. However, the big senton bomb from Tozawa saved it. He has some serious height on that, and it reminds me of how good Dick Togo was. This was a good performance from both, but the title change seems odd to me, especially since I’m not following 205 Live as much as I had in the past. I need to get back to it.

Jason Jordan defeated The Miz via DQ

This was fast, and it didn’t get far. Jordan got jumped by Miz’s cronies and that was that. Jordan then cleaned house, but the Miztourage is going to definitely cause disruption for the young guy. Oh, and the fans could care less, which means they care just a little.

Oh, I almost forgot this happened! The Hardy Boyz ran down to save Jordan from a beat down, and that prompted Teddy Long to come down and declare a tag team match! Ok, he didn’t come down, but that’s what happened, a six man tag happened, and that was that.

Bork Lazer fought off a few dudes.

The ending of Raw had Lesnar getting pulled away from beating up the rest of his opponents from Summerslam. I will say this much, the main event is going to be predicable since Lesnar will win and will be at Raw as the champion. That’s been leaked already, so there.

Overall, Raw wasn’t terrible. It was actually watchable for the most part. However, I could not get into the main event, and the lack of lengthy matches makes me miss the old Raw shows where wrestling took more of a front seat, then just randomly throwing together storylines before a PPV. I guess that’s what 2017 WWE is now, a crash course in pro-wrestling.

I finally am sitting down to review the show, and despite the fact that I don’t have many readers, It was important for me to get through this one. Why? Because I need something to vent my displeasure with how WWE Raw went down this week. I saw the HULU version, but it felt like it was 9 hours long, and despite the fact that the feed only has a select amount of information in the 90 minutes, it didn’t feel shorter for some reason. With that in mind, let’s consider what went down, and how I felt about it, because this is a site where I discuss pro wrestling from WWE, and well that’s about it.

WWE Monday Night Raw July 31, 2017 Results and Review

From the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia, there was NO ECW chants that I recall, meaning the crowd is definitely not what they used to be, that’s for sure.

Kurt Angle came out only to get interrupted by Brock Lesnar and Paul Heyman. They said that they were going to quit if Lesnar lost at Summerslam. They aren’t going to lose, mind you.

The Hardy Boyz defeated The Club Sandwich Guys

Well, the Club are officially a bunch of nerds. They lose again, and while the Revival and the Club decided to try and beat up the Hardy’s they couldn’t get it done. Team Extreme once again buries the young talent, and that’s the end of that. I can only hope that they become broken.

Rich Swann, Cedric Alexander, and Akira Tozawa defeated TJP, Ariya Daivari, and Tony Nese

Jason Jordan on Miz TV

What a load of garbage. Jason Jordan gives an Angle Slam, I think, to the Miz into the Miztourage, and that was that. Jordan is not ready for this push.

Seth Rollins defeated Sheamus

This was a boring match, that led to Sheamus and Cesaro beating up Rollins. Dean Ambrose ran down to help him out. This made no sense. Ambrose said that he was going to go his own way, and Rollins would have to go his own way, but here he is saving the day for some reason. This makes absolutely no sense to me folks. Why would he do this? He shouldn’t care about Rollins, as it’s none of his business. But alas, he ran down, and the two tried to beat up the champions. This made no sense.

Finn Balor attacked Bray Wyatt

Bray Wyatt rambles on and on, and said that no one can beat him, etc. I don’t know who to cheer for here, the Wyatt character sucks, but you know what? Alex Wright 2.0 is worth checking out, so maybe he’ll do well in this feud.

Roman Reigns defeated Samoa Joe and Braun Strowman

Of course he did. I didn’t like this match at all, as Joe looked weak and so did Strowman. Strowman made quick work of Joe, and Reigns was able to get the big win after hitting Strowman with the steel steps. Joe really got booted here, from the start, making him look weak amidst the other guys. This should’ve been the main event, but alas, it wasn’t. This was a good television match, but man, I wish Joe didn’t look so much like a chump here.

This was a boring, terrible match. Big Cass has new boring music, Big Show got winded fast, and Enzo came out to try and beat up Cass, only to get booted and knocked out. Cass then got hit in the face with that knockout punch, and that was it. That’s your Raw.

This was a boring episode of Raw, with little to no action in my view. Yes, there were some good moments, like the Hardy’s getting the best of the other teams, and watching Rollins get beat up by Cesaro and Sheamus. However, nothing that happened on this show hyped me up for Summerslam, which is the main goal of Raw right now, right? Ugh, this was a boring, flat show with a lot of boring moments, including that terrible main event. Why would they put Cass and Show on last? It makes no sense. What a terrible night of pro wrestling, if you can call it that.

WWE Monday Night Raw June 26, 2017 Results and Review The Return of The Boss

Monday Night Raw was live from the Staples Center in Los Angeles. That’s a building I know all too well. I saw Unforgiven twice there, and I saw Wrestlemania there, as well as seeing a live WWE Smackdown from the fourth row no less. I even had Scotty Too Hotty jump into the crowd where I was at. Overall, I’ve been fortunate to see a lot of action in the arena, but nothing quite like what happened on Raw. In fact, I’ve never been to a WWE Monday Night Raw taping, so there’s that. Whatever the case is, on January 26, the Raw brand was in Los Angeles for one hell of a show, and I saw the HULU version, so that’s what I will talk about going forward.

WWE Monday Night Raw January 26, 2017 Review

Roman Reigns Opens Show, Gets Thrown Into Ambulance

The show opened up with Roman Reigns getting booed out of the building. I know they weren’t saying BOO URNS, but if I were there, I probably would have been. An ambulance showed up and out came Brown Shoeman. He attacked Reigns then chucked him off the stage into the ambulance like a lawn dart, or like Rey Mysterio circa WCW 1996. Reigns was then thrown into the ambulance and that was that. Good opener, although, I don’t like Brown Shoeman or Roman “Boring” Reigns.

Fin Balor and the Hardy Boyz defeated Elias Samson, Cesaro, and Sheamus

This was a fun match, but it started with Elias Samson about to sing a song. He was interrupted, and the match was on. A standard six man tag, with Balor getting the big pinfall, but not without the other guys throwing down some great tag team moves, and out of the ring action. A fast paced opener that I loved, but probably didn’t get too much love from anyone else.

Miz TV With The Ball Family

Apparently there was a match after this segment, but the HULU version did not show that. Instead it was just Miz TV with the Ball family, and I thought it was hilarious. It was definitely entertaining, if you knew who the Ball family is. If you didn’t, well then you didn’t like this, because you didn’t know who the hell they were.

Big Cass Hugged Enzo, Then Threw Him Down The Stage

Big Cass did a nice job selling the reunion, only to then get Enzo beat up and literally tossed down the ramp. Enzo rolled to his death, and Cass was left standing tall. A few moments later he confronted Corey Graves and said that he would ring his neck if he could, but he couldn’t, and therefore he was going to warn him and that’s it. Enzo’s done folks, Cass is the guy the WWE is going with.

Seth Rollins defeated Curt Hawkins

Not a complete burial, but Hawkins was not going to win this one. I’m a fan of Hawkins, but he’s wasted here, getting buried by Rollins.

Samoa Joe Nearly Kills Brock Lesnar (not a joke)

Samoa Joe is made to look like a total beast as he put on his finisher on Lesnar. Lesnar was turning purple and couldn’t get out of the chokehold. I’m not sure if Joe could take out Lesnar in a real UFC fight, but the WWE is doing a good job of making me believe that he has a shot at winning the title at the ppv. I don’t know if he will, but if he does, wow, congrats to WWE for making one hell of a main event on a badly named PPV.

Sasha Banks won a women’s Guantlet Match to get a title shot at Alexa Bliss

Holy crap, the booking is off the rails for the women. Last week, they barely got attention, this week, they get the main event! I loved it! I loved the story the women told here. Nia Jax took on the whole roster and won. She beat Bayley first of all, which was great for me. Then she beat every woman on the Raw roster, except the champion, and when Banks came out, put on a strong showing, but obviously winded and tired, which is why Banks got the big win with the Bank Statement! I loved it, Jax taps out, and that’s the end of the show folks.

Raw was good on HULU. I didn’t see the 3 hour show, and it looks like a lot more happened. I do not know why the WWE decides to cut out so much on HULU’s Raw show, versus the rest of their shows, but they do. This was a good, entertaining showcase if you ask me.

WWE Monday Night Raw June 19, 2017 Results and Review – Bad Booking Continues in 2017

I’m fortunate enough to be watching the HULU version. I previously was watching the Youtube condensed versions from people uploading them, but they were so unreliable that I have now just waited for the HULU version to upload and that’s it. So today I’m going to review what I recall from the HULU version, since they didn’t include everything, and well, that’s what the WWE felt was important enough to show on the pay service. So that’s what I’m discussing, and here we go, from Evansville, Indiana, June 19, 2017 Monday Night Raw.

Roman Reigns Announcement For Summerslam

Roman Reigns came out to tell the crowd in Indiana that he was going to be the next contender for the Universal Championship. That is either going to set up a Samoa Joe match against Roman Reigns or it’s going to set up a Brock Lesnar and Roman Reigns grudge match. Either way, Roman did ok on the mic here, but he was interrupted by Samoa Joe. Reigns called him a dude named Joe, and that sparked some words, before the two started brawling. Joe has a point, Reigns has NOT beaten him, and the two would meet later on tonight.

The Drifter Gets Interrupted

The Drifter came out and asked the crowd, who wants to walk with Elias! I do! I love this gimmick, and really hope that eventually he hits someone with a guitar. I love that. Well, not when Jeff Jarrett did it, but when Honky Tonk Man did it, it was awesome. The Drifter got confronted by Finn Balor, but he left. Hang on to that thought.

Finn Balor defeated Bo Dallas

Bo Dallas came out aggressive and was beating the snot out of Finn Balor. If Finn Balor is so dominant, why did Bo Dallas get so much offense against him? Bo was looking like a million bucks against the first Universal Champion ever. Either way, Balor turned things around with his offense stolen from Alex Wright, and eventually won against Dallas. I guess he didn’t BO LIEVE.

Seth Rollins Panders To The Crowd

Seth Rollins came out and was pandering to people about the new WWE 2K18 game. Then Bray Wyatt came out and said something, and that will most likely set up a match between the two? I guess that’s that. Wyatt to lose again, I’m sure.

Finn Balor Beat Down by Elias

Backstage, Finn Balor was getting interviewed when Elias “The Drifter” Samson hit him from behind and knocked him out. This was awesome, and will most likely setup a good match between the two. Elias is doing well with this gimmick, and I hope the WWE doesn’t screw it up, but of course, they will.

Samoa Joe defeated Roman Reigns

This was a really good match for Raw. The crowd was into it, and I was into it. Samoa Joe was putting some good work in against Roman Reigns, and Reigns was not backing down. He was hitting Joe with some strong offense, but Joe was outsmarting him at times. Joe would eventually turn things around as Braun Strowman showed up on the screen with an ambulance. Joe got his finisher sleeper on, the Clutch, if you will, and Reigns passed out. That’s correct folks, SAMOA JOE defeats Roman Reigns in the middle of the ring, nearly clean. Post match, Shoeman (not a typo), beat up Reigns and challenged him to an ambulance match.

The Miz Recruits Bo Dallas and Curtis Axel

The Miz went backstage and told the two jobbers that he can make both of them stars. All they had to do was join him. Keep that in mind.

Maryse On MIZ TV

Miz TV had a guest, it was Maryse, and despite her good looks, she’s looking a bit older these days. There were two dancing bears there, and Miz was promising to give a gift. It was the grandfather clock that Miz repaired since he beat it down last week. Maryse was thrilled, but out came Dean Ambrose. He beat up Miz, they broke the clock, Maryse spilled her drink, ran off, and then the bears. The bears beat down Dean Ambrose and pulled their heads off to reveal it was Bo Dallas and Curtis Axel! I kid you not. They finally have something to do on Raw.

Nia Jax defeated Sasha Banks via DQ

This match didn’t get far. Alexa Bliss and Emma got into it on commentary, Bliss ran into the ring to get help from Nia, and that led to brawling from all the women, in what was an embarrassment of a segment. Wait, I forgot, Bayley came out looking a bit tired and flabby and beat everyone up. Word on the street is that she’s going to start to have a crush on Graves. Meh.

Kurt Angle Revealed Enzo and Cass Attack Villain

The show ended without wrestling. I kid you not, the show ended with NO WRESTLING in the ring. Instead, Graves, Angle, Cass, The Revival, Big Show, and Enzo all were in the ring trying to get to the bottom of the attacks. As it turned out, Cass attacked Enzo and that was that. Enzo started crying, Cass gave a great speech, and that was that. Cass attacked Enzo. Why would the WWE split a great team like this up? Why would they make the heels all win all the time? Why did the show end without wrestling? I don’t know. That was the end, and that was that.

WWE Monday Night Raw March 27, 2017 Results and Review This Is All The WWE Has Left?

WWE Monday Night Raw this Monday should have been the biggest event of the week, aside from Wrestlemania. The last Raw before the big event should have been a great one, but instead, it was a floundering mess of booking. I don’t know a single soul that would say that this show was great, even those that were in the audience. When your opening segment gets a crowd to cheer for CM Punk, you know something is wrong. Whatever the case may be, this awful night of wrestling pushed a few elements for the big show, no pun intended, coming this weekend.

WWE Monday Night Raw March 27, 2017 Review

The night opened up with the women getting on the mic. Charlotte is so much higher than all of the other women it’s sick. She is absolutely great on the mic, and she pushes the boundaries of shoot and kayfabe at times. Bayley looked lost, as she was being told that Sasha Banks is not her friend. That prompted Sasha to come out, which led to a straight up Tag Team Match!

Bayley and Sasha Banks defeated Charlotte Flair and Nia Jax

Not a great match, but enough happened to set up a cool four way at Wrestlemania. Bayley and Banks got the win, which is nonsensical to me, but ok, let the good guys win again. Not a long match, and honestly, a bit safe due to no one wanting to be injured going into the Mania show.

Austin Aries defeated Noam Dar

Noam Dar is wasted here. Austin Aries buries him, letting him get very little offense, while yelling at Neville the whole time. Aries has a bravado that is fascinating, but burying talent like Noam Dar is no good. I didn’t like this match, and think that the division is souring fast.

Note, Neville said on the headset with the announce team that Mustafa Ali earned his respect. Damn right he did! If you’re not watching 205 Live, you missed one hell of a match.

Seth Rollins Signed Triple H’s Contract

Rollins came out on a crutch and said he had to beat Triple. Here’s where logic gets thrown out the window. If you have a knee injury, you don’t want to put all of your weight on the knee cap, right? Then why did Seth Rollins go for a pedigree? That forces you to land on your knees! The knee that is injured right now! This was stupid. The two brawled after cutting promos, and that was that. Triple H is a savage when he wants to be.

Over The Top Rope Challenge

The Big Show was burying anyone that came out, until all of the jobbers came rushing down and threw him out. I thought for sure Shaq was going to show up, but of course, he didn’t. Big Show looked embarrassed and then Brown Shoeman came out and said he could beat The Giant. Oh well, looks like the Roman Reigns feud is done.

Neville defeated Jack Gallagher

Not nearly as good as their first meeting. This was a workable match, but without getting much time, it was nothing short of Neville going over a talented Gallagher. Too bad.

The Undertaker Confronted Roman Reigns

The Undertaker looked fat, out of shape, and tired here. Roman Reigns is supposed to be a good guy? I have no idea why these guys are fighting, honestly. Do you? This is a terribly built feud, and one that is going to hopefully retire the Undertaker, because his hips are bad. Just retire dude.

The Club Sandwich Boys beat up Enzo and Cass with Ladders

I read a note that the Hardy Boyz are going to show up and challenge the Club Sandwich boys now that they have introduced ladders into the mix. Enzo, Cass, Cesaro and Sheamus all ended up brawling and getting beat up with the ladders. Sheamus got busted open hard way and it was really bad. The Club Sandwich boys looked somewhat strong here.

Sami Zayn defeated Kevin Owens and now is in the Andre The Giant Battle Royal

Remember when they were NEVER GOING TO WRESTLE AGAIN? Well, that was a lie. Here they are wrestling again, for the millionth time. Not only that, Sami Zayn finally gets a win. Stephanie McMahon took his balls away in a promo to set up this match. Zayn and Owens work well together, don’t get me wrong, but we’ve seen this match as many times as we’ve seen Orton and Cena. Anyways, the same standard match you’d expect from these two, with Zayn getting the win and entrance into the battle royal on Sunday.

Goldberg Punked Out Brock Lesnar

Brock Lesnar got punked out, and beaten up. So much for that bravado on the mic, Goldberg wasn’t messing around. He punked out Lesnar, then threw him outside and flexed. I’m calling it now folks, Goldberg is going to go over Lesnar, simple as that. He’s going to bury Lesnar, and that’s going to be that.

This night of Raw was absolutely horrendous. I had a hard time staying awake. I don’t know one person that would watch this and say it was a great show. This was the last Raw before Wrestlemania and it did nothing to get me excited for the show. I’m surprised with how bad the WWE has been booking these shows, but then again, how is the stock doing? Perhaps that’s the big thing, this is a business after all.

Oh well. Back to watching WCW ppv and getting ready for more reviews this week.

The night after the Royal Rumble had a lot of things that could’ve gone right. But it also had a lot to make up for since the internet wrestling community was really upset about how it all went down. That being said, consider that Laredo, Texas had a pretty crappy Raw. There was a lot more talking than you would expect, and it was painfully obvious that the WWE is not going to shift away from that format of constant talking. Whatever the case may be, let’s discuss the night in the only way I know how, cynical.

WWE Monday Night Raw January 30, 2017 Review

Sami Zayn defeated Chris Jericho in a non title match

The opening match of the night came after a lot of talk, which I didn’t care for. Whatever the case may be, Chris Jericho came out to take on Sami Zayn, which was a good overall match. It’s funny, because Zayn gets these great wins against small guys, then gets obliterated against bigger dudes. Not only that, he’s constantly doing good work, and is made to look like an idiot backstage. Oh well. This match was good, but not perfect in any way.

Tony Nese defeated Mustafa Ali

Another mat based classic. I wonder why the WWE won’t just let these guys turn it on. They can go, and they can do a lot more than head locks and boredom. Nese was asked a few pointed questions by Ausin Airies and that was the end. Nese may be getting a title shot in the near future.

Neville got beat down by Rich Swann. I didn’t care.

Brown Shoeman defeated Kevin Owens via DQ

Brown Shoeman got a title shot against Kevin Owens, but guess what? The BIG DOG came running down, with music and everything. Owens was selling from the night before, taped up, and limping to the ring. Meanwhile Roman Reigns was looking like he didn’t have a match last night, going through Strowman with relative ease. Owens won thanks to DQ, but that’s that. I am not looking forward to seeing Shoeman buried, but you will see it happen since you can’t really put the BIG DOG down, can you? I hate Roman Reigns sometimes.

Nia Jax defeated Sasha Banks via match stoppage

Sasha Banks has been demoted to the internet. She got beat down by Jax, and the ref stopped the match. Oh well. Banks needs to take some time off if you ask me. Jax is on a collision course to the title, and Charlotte will have to do a lot more than she’s been doing to get a big win.

Enzo Amore and Big Cass defeated Rusev and Jingle My Balls in a Tornado Tag Team Match

Comedy act aside, Amore and Cass do well together. Rusev and Jingle My Balls did ok, but this was a throwaway match with no major title picture contension. I didn’t hate it, but I didn’t love it either.

Bayley, Cesaro and Sheamus defeated Charlotte, and The Club Sandwich Boys

This was a boring match, simple as that. Boring and boring, with Bayley winning after a suplex. I guess it’s a lot easier to defeat Charlotte on Raw, eh?

Taz debuted to choke out Seth Rollins

Triple H cut the world’s most boring promo, and that brought out Seth Rollins. However, Rollins didn’t get his wish of fighting HHH, he instead met face to face against Taz! That’s right TAZ! The human suplex machine! I kid. It was Samoa Joe. However, all I could think of was Scott Steiner. “HE’S FAT!” Oh well. I guess Rollins will have to face Joe, beat him, or rather bury him, then get HHH at mania. Only to win, and then what? Get a title shot? Who cares. Rollins is wasted here.

Brock Lesnar and Goldberg will face off at Mania. Heyman tried his best to do a good promo, but it sucked. I can’t stand the guy. I really hope that Goldberg and Lesnar get another 1 minute match. I don’t want to see them wrestle a long winded affair, I just don’t.

WWE Monday Night Raw Review

Monday Night Raw was a chore, even for the HULU edition. I had a very hard time getting through the show. I do not have cable, so I did not get to see the 3 hour showcase, but from what I hear online, it wasn’t that good at all. Here are my thoughts on the HULU edition, since it cut out a LOT.

Seth Rollins Fought Rusev to a Double Count Out

This wasn’t half bad. Rusev and Rollins put on an OK match. I liked the fact that Rollins did not injure Rusev, and didn’t get him killed either. Other than that, I was wondering how they would keep both men strong. What ended up happening, however, was the two fought each other to a double count out and that was that. Not a terrible match, but not great either.

Charlotte and Dana Brooke defeated Sasha Banks and Bayley

They turned the WWE Championship match for this weekend into a three way dance. I live in Indianapolis, and will not be attending at all. Oh well. This match wasn’t bad, but it was far from good as well. It featured the same spots as before, and it seemed a little rushed to me. Dana and Charlotte would get the win, and that’s it.

Chris Jericho Throws Logic Out of the Window

Chris Jericho came out to put people on his list of grievances. One minute he is writing off everyone on the roster, then joins those same idiots as part of a tag team! What the hell?

A fun match, nothing to write home about though. I was tired, but this match was even more tired. They all phoned it in, with the spots you’d expect from a pay per view opener.

Brian Kendrick defeated Gran Metalik, Cedric Alexander and Rich Swann

The winner would get a title shot this weekend, and I loved it. I loved how the match was paced, and I like how Kendrick looked strong amidst the others. I did notice that the move sets were toned down. Turns out, that the WWE has asked these guys to tone down the jumps and what not. After a full classic tournament where the guys were flying around the ring, they are muted already? Whatever. Look for the division to get more of a Chavo Guerrero style wrestling program rather than what you saw in the CWC.

Roman Reigns defeated Kevin Owens in a Steel Cage Match

Here’s the thing. The announce team kept talking about how Kevin Owens was a coward for trying to escape. But Roman Reigns wins by escape!?! What the hell? Where is the logic? Then Seth Rollins comes out to save Roman Reigns for a beat down? Why? WHY DOES SETH ROLLINS CARE? Seriously, what does he care if Roman Reigns is getting a beat down? WHAT THE HELL?

Monday Night Raw made absolutely no sense. Seriously, it made no sense for Seth Rollins, it made no sense to have sexual tension between Stephanie McMahon and Seth Rollins, it was a crap show with a crap build for their pay per view this weekend. I almost bought a ticket, I’m glad I did not. What a load of garbage.

WWE Monday Night Raw August 29, 2016 Review

A lot went down, but I don’t recall most of it. I was tired, and it’s a lot of the same old BS on the show. Here are some memorable elements, or at least things that stuck out.

Long Winded Talk Opener

The opening segments on the shows kill me. I don’t want to see a lot of talking. I never liked that. I don’t like any talking to open shows, as I’m trying to watch wrestling. But alas, we’re in a new era so I guess you just have to suck it up, because that’s what you’re going to get, talking.

Sheamus defeated Cesaro

This is awful. Does anyone actually want to see these guys wrestle 7 times? Terrible match, terrible ending, I’m hoping that it doesn’t go through all 7 matches.

WWE Tag Team Champions The New Day & Bayley def. Luke Gallows, Karl Anderson & Dana Brooke

The Club Sandwich boys are terrible. Here’s another example of how they are being buried on Raw. I don’t care about them, you shouldn’t either. Bayley is cool and all, but this was a waste of talent on the show. I didn’t like it.

Kevin Owens def. Seth Rollins, Roman Reigns and Big Cass to become the new WWE Universal Champion

I didn’t see this swerve coming. Kevin Owens actually wins the big one. That’s right, Kevin Owens is your new Universal Red Fruit Roll Up Champion. He won only after Triple H eliminated Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins by hitting a pedigree on each one of them, and letting Owens get the pin. That’s it. There’s your new champion, and Jim Cornette can go to hell.

WWE Monday Night Raw August 8, 2016 Review

Let’s start the show with a long talking segment again. Why not? Ok, well this was ok since Enzo Amore is gold on the mic, and his mic work against Chris Jericho was great overall. Kevin Owens coming out to say that he is going to hurt Enzo and Cass was great. This led to a match between Jericho and Enzo, which was ok, but it was mired by interference.

Seth Rollins is annoying on the mic. I did like that he mentioned that his name could’ve been “Rambo Apocalypse”, now that’s a name I can get behind honestly.

Finn Balor Needs To Learn To Speak Native English

When Finn Balor talks it sounds like he has marbles in his mouth. It’s bad. I should know. I am a Naturalized American Citizen and I have to work really hard to ensure that my words are understood straight out. I worked hard on my lingual abilities and Finn should too. Heck Seth should too. Cody Rhodes should get rid of that lisp too.

Roman Reigns messed up Lana and Rusev’s celebration which was kind of funny. I’m never going to cheer Reigns though. I did find this amusing.

Sasha Banks defeated Dana Brooke

This match was boring to me. Dana is a jobber, Charlotte and Sasha mistimed a slap, the whole match lasted less than a few minutes. The feminists WWE twitter people are going to be mad about this one, I’m sure. They’ll most likely talk bad about anyone that disagrees too.

Luke Gallows buries Kofi Kingston

I liked this burial, can’t lie. However, I wish the club sandwich boys would go back to beating up John Cena. The brand split isn’t exactly sticking afterall.

The ending with Daniel Bryan from Smackdown talking to Mick Foley was stupid. I though tthere was a distinct brand split? This served no purpose but boredom.

At the end of the day, this was the worst Raw since the brand split, simple as that.

WWE Monday Night Raw 6/13/2016 Results and Review The Revolution Is Here

What is the definition of Revolution?

An instance of revolving. Synonyms include turn, single turn, rotation, circle, spin, and 180 degrees.

That is what Raw is wright now. It’s fully spun around to the same old BS that everyone hates, and this is a prime example of how far we have come to a terrible resolution of wrestling. But hey, it’s Raw, it’s the flagship show, let’s see what happened on the HULU edition no less.

WWE Monday Night Raw 6/13/2016 Results

The New Day showed up to star the show after a moment of silence for Orlando. They made fun of the new Steph Curry shoe, then got interrupted by Enzo and Cass. You know, let’s start Raw with 30 minutes of talking, instead of wrestling.

“Kofi are you serious with those Jerry Seinfeld joints you have on there?”

The Vaudevillains and The Club Sandwich Boys defeated The New Day and Enzo and Cass

This was a good opening match, lots of great back and forth, with no one looking to dominant. Of course the New Day would take the fall here, making them look vulnerable heading into Money in The Bank. Not a bad match by any means, but I have a feeling that New Day may in fact get away with this one yet again.

The Ambrose Asylum sucked. The Shield is ok, I never bought into their hype. Plus, as I recall, CM PUNK beat them 3 on 1! These guys suck, Ambrose is supposed to be the lunatic fringe and yet he’s here doing nothing but watching two idiots talking to each other. SAME OLD SHI….you know. Waste of time.

Paige defeated Charlotte (non title)

Anyone that thought that there would be a Divas Revolution should shut their big fat faces. I called it! Less than 5 minutes for this match, and it’s all the same, same old BS treatment of the women’s division. Who gives a flying you know what? Not me.

Sami Zayn defeated Cesaro

I’m not sure if this match was longer for the broadcast, but the HULU version was fast, condensed, and well, lacked anything that I would call an epic. It short, fast, and Zayn won. I don’t know much else, but it was not as great as people on Twitter were talking about.

Alberto Del Rio and Kevin Owens defeated The Lucha Dragons

This match was the best one on Raw. There was a major story told between Del Rio and Owens, in which they couldn’t get along. Earlier in the show Owens snitched on Del Rio being late. It was fun. The whole match and segments with Owens is good, and the story moves along. He’s quite the story teller.

Dean Ambrose defeated Chris Jericho

The rest of the Money In The Bank guys were at ringside doing various jobs, making this watchable. Dean Ambrose finally won, but at this point, who cares? The guys in the MITB match came in and started doing their finishers, and that’s that.

Overall Rating: 5 out of 10

This was not a good show. I wouldn’t watch this again. While the ending was good, and the story of Owens and Del Rio was good, the rest was a lot of wasted time to me. I know that Cena is going to bury, Stephanie and Shane will argue, and I just don’t care right now. This show was half garbage, so it gets 5 out of 10 suckers. Oh and no I didn't mark out for Corporate Kane coming back.

WWE Monday Night Raw 5/30/2016 John Cena To Bury Aj Styles Next

Well, well, Monday Night Raw time again, and again I am watching it via HULU. I just completed a class for my master’s degree in Humanities and have just one left. We’ll see how it all goes. So let’s consider the showcase of Raw on Memorial Day, for no apparent reason.

WWE Monday Night Raw 5/30/2016 Results and Review

Moment of silence and bell salute for Memorial Day started off the show. Classy WWE, classy.

The show started with the McMahon siblings showing up and talking about the draft. They were interrupted by none other than The New Day, and they wanted to know who gets to go where and what not. The New Day wanted a dance contest to figure out who would be in charge of Raw or Smackdown. Stephanie was going to dance, but out came the Vaudevillains.

The New Day defeated The Vaudevillains via disqualification

This match wasn’t half bad, a good back and forth match with lots of momentum going for the New Day. However, mid-match out came the Club sandwich guys, and they beat up The New Day. That led to a DQ finish. No finish is what I call it. The Club took out the tag champs, so I guess they are going to be booked to possibly get the titles, then lose them to the Usos because of course, Roman Reigns buried these guys already. Oh well.

Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns Wasted Everyone’s Time

These idiots didn’t do much, say much and wasted all your time. Rollins kept running to the ring and stopping, and Reigns was in the middle of the ring. Ugh, what a load of garbage.

Michael Cole said, and I quote: “Rollins is going to need to fight Roman Reign” No S! What the hell!

Rusev defeated Zack Ryder

Zack Ryder got buried again. I wish I could get paid to lose. I’d lose daily. Not much of a match.

Titus O’neil showed up to challenge Rusev, this is the next feud. Sigh.

Enzo and Cass defeated The Dudley Boyz

The crowd was a bit tired in this match. The match was fine, back and forth, with The Dudleys doing the job for the young guys. It’s too predictable if you ask me. Competitive, sure, but you knew that Enzo and Cass wasn’t winning, simple as that.

John Cena cut a patriotic promo. Yep. Oh well. Tired.

Aj Styles came out, and turned heel, but let’s admit it here, AJ STYLES WILL BE BURIED BY JOHN CENA. Done and done. Styles beat up Cena, and I’m meh about all of this.

Chris Jericho, Alberto Del Rio, and Kevin Owens defeatedSami Zayn, Cesaro, and Dean Ambrose

I got déjà vu in this match. Do all Raw’s have to end with a six man? Or is it the Smackdown formula coming through again. Whatever the case is, this was fun to watch, but I just felt like I’ve seen it 100 times before. The good guys win, enough said. Boring to me, since I’ve seen it a million times before.

Overall Rating: 4 out of 10

This was not my favorite show. It had a little wrestling, but mind you, I’m watching the HULU version. I can’t afford cable. There was a few moments that were interesting, but overall, this match needed something more, not sure what, something a bit more helpful in creating a better overall wrestling feel. Then again, maybe they should hire the acrobats from NJPW since they are getting a lot of fanfare right now.
