WWE Monday Night Raw September 12, 2016 Results and Review: The Fat Ass Champion

Kevin Owens Is Fat
This past week’s Raw was live from Royal Farms Arena in Baltimore, MD. It was not a great show, and even the HULU version that I’m reviewing was absolutely tough to watch. I had to really pay attention, even though I didn’t want to, and well, this is the result that you get.

WWE Monday Night Raw September 12, 2016 Review

Again, this is a review of the HULU edition since I don’t have cable. I tried getting it once, and watching 3 hours of Raw was horrendous to say the least.

Sasha Banks defeated Bayley and Dana Brooke in a triple threat match

Say what you will about Dana Brooke, but she put on a showcase in this match. She took some serious bumps from Sasha Banks, and Bayley. The match had her getting thrown around the ring, and also shoving the other two away. Lots of great bumps to the floor, and good overall pushes. I also love Brooke’s look, and would love to hang out with her, but alas, it will never happen. She’s underrated, if you ask me. Sasha Banks won a hard fought battle here, and it was a good showing to see, even if Bayley didn’t get the big win here. Banks will face off against Charlotte at Clash of Champions.

Match Rating 4 out of 5

Cesaro defeated Sheamus

I hate the notion of a best of 7, especially with two performers that bore me to tears. This is a boring match, but oh well. Cesaro won, and that’s that.

Match Rating 1 out of 5

Kevin Owens defeated Roman Reigns

This was the highlight of the HULU edition for sure. Kevin Owens, the fat champion, won against Roman Reigns. This was a fun back and forth match, but it had Seth Rollins interfere, Mick Foley get mad at him, and that’s about it. Good back and forth, nice elements, Owens can make anyone look great in the ring.

Match Rating 3 out of 5

Monday Night Raw wasn’t grand, but it wasn’t terrible either. Good showing by the women, too bad they are opening the show instead of closing it. Oh well.
