Elimination Chamber 2015 The Kevin Owens Era Is Here

SRC WWE
Well, I’m finally getting to carve out a few moments to talk about Elimination Chamber 2015. As you already know, I do not put on a FULL review of things any more. I just talk about things that were good, thoughts of my own and what not. As such, here are the Elimination Chamber 2015 Results:

Stardust defeated Zack Ryder
The New Day defeated The Lucha Dragons, Tyson Kidd and Cesaro, The Prime Time Players, The Ascension, Los Matadores in an Elimination Chamber match
Nikki Bella defeated Paige and Naomi in a Triple Threat WWE Divas title match
Kevin Owens defeated John Cena
Neville defeated Bo Dallas
Ryback defeated R-Truth, Sheamus, King Barrett, Dolph Ziggler, and Mark Henry
Dean Ambrose defeated Seth Rollins by DQ in the WWE Championship Match

The Tag Teams Bring Out Their A Game

The biggest news of note for me was the tag team elimination chamber match up. It took up a huge chunk of the show, and it was a great one. It had a lot of high spots, lots of good wrestling, and some great overall crowd reaction from Texas. I thought for sure Cesaro and Kidd had this. Then I switched to The Prime Time Players getting the win. The New Day got the victory, but wow, what a roundabout of talent in this match. Cesaro is a beast, an absolute wrestling hero. The diagonal drop kick into the ropes was stellar. Kidd is underrated. That team is just incredible. This was great.

Kevin Owens Beats John Cena CLEAN

You are not reading this wrong. Kevin Owens beat John Cena clean. No gimmicks, no chair shots, no illegal weapons, nothing. Owens came in and fought John Cena for 20 minutes and both guys put on a 5 star showing in my view. The only little thing that I didn’t like was that Owens let Cena into the ring without attacking. I would have much rather pushed Owens to attack as soon as Cena slid into the ring like a true heel. Remember, he “hates” Cena, so allowing him to have any momentum or freedom is not a good thing. Other than that minor issue, this match was great. Lots of great spots, Owens holding his own, and Cena getting surprised with a CLEAN finish. It is the biggest thing to come out Elimination Chamber this year.

The Boredom Movement of The Intercontinental Title

The IC Title should get more love. However, this was not a great match. Whether it’s a lack of chemistry, or it’s a lack of motivation, or just being worn out after seeing the best out of Cena and Owens, this just fell flat to me. Ryback winning? Mark Henry being in the match? Ugh, leave me out of this mess.

Dean Ambrose Bigger Than Roman Reigns

I can’t wait to see Roman Reigns turn heel. He is setting himself up for that Heel turn and the crowd is going to eat him alive, which is exactly what WWE needs right now. They need a monster heel and Roman Reigns is going to be that, if they turn him. Speaking of heels, Rollins played a good foil here, and losing the title for a hiccup was great too. However, the DQ finish had to happen and it has set up a ladder match for Money In The Bank on the 14, of June.

The rest of the show didn’t really get my attention as much. Neville and Dallas should’ve been better received. Stardust and Ryder had an ok match, and the divas were given 6 minutes to work. Overall, not a great show, but the Owens versus Cena match stole the show.
