WWE Smackdown October 4, 2016 Results and Review A Terrible Night of Wrestling

What's Up Konnan!!!!
WWE Smackdown is supposed to be better than Raw. Up to this point, they were doing well, but this show, this was the most terrible showcase of the brand split. It’s absolutely horrendous what they are doing with this, and despite my objections, I sat through it all enough to review it below.

WWE Smackdown October 4, 2016 Review

Kane defeated Bray Wyatt via Count Out

You did not read that wrong. Bray Wyatt and Kane faced off again! The same match we had at the PPV, and where was Orton? Not wrestling. He was setting up a trap for Wyatt. Whatever the case is, this match sucked, and while Kane is a good worker, he’s lost in this shuffle. I was bored, the crowd wasn’t into it, and this match ended with a count out. Who cares?

The Divas Are Back!

The women’s tag team match was set up like Teddy Long. This was a “straight up” tag team match, and guess what? It blew chunks. This match reminded me exactly of the divas era, and nothing more than that. I am not impressed with any of the women in this match, and just hope that they pull together a better option down the line. I’m not going to stop calling them divas, by the way, so kick rocks.

The Hype Bros defeated The Vaudevillains

Oh boy. Remember when The Vaudevillains had that huge push, and they were getting a lot of attention from NXT and Blue Pants, and so much more? Well no one else does, they didn’t get an entrance here, the Hype Bros won big, and that was that. This is a sad day for a bygone era.

The Spirit Squad Returned!

The Spirit Squad came back and beat up Dolph Ziggler. I really hope that Dolph just goes away. He has to lose and I hope that the WWE uses Miz to get even more and more heat. He should adopt the Chris Jericho defeat gimmick from 1998, taking pieces of his victims. I loved WCW back when Jericho was doing that, and 1998 was a great one for the cruiserweight title and Jericho. This sucked.

Jason Jordan defeated Jay Uso

This match was so fast, that I didn’t have time to eat my oatmeal. It sucked.

Match Rating: 1 out of 5

Jack Swagger defeated Baron Corbin

What the hell ref? Corbin was reaching for the ropes, but the ref called it a tap out and that was that. Swagger wins, Corbin throws a fit, and I don’t know, this was just stupid.

Randy Orton captured Bray Wyatt and he escaped.

Sister Abigail helped Wyatt. Oh well.

Aj Styles, John Cena and Dean Ambrose brawled, and that was that.

This show was absolutely terrible. It was not good at all, and no one can justify it. It’s just a sad sack of a show, face it.
