WWE Battleground 2016 Results and Review

This weekend I was able to catch WWE Battleground, and while I didn’t review it right away, I figured it was better to do so today than never. Not that anyone is reading, but hey, I give it a good shot. Here we go the WWE Battleground results and review by me, Sir Jorge.

Breezango def. The Usos

This wasn’t half bad, a lot of high flying action. The Usos are great together, that brotherly bond is nice to see in the ring. Breezango is funny, their antics catching Pokemon have me laughing a bit during Raw and throughout their promos. I don’t play myself, but maybe I should.

3 Out of 5 Stars

Sasha Banks & Bayley def. Charlotte & Dana Brooke

The surprise teammate aspect intrigued me, and the overall match was really good. The match showcased Banks and Bayley throwing down some lethal combinations before they finally took out Miz and Riley, I mean Charlotte and Dana once and for all.

4 out of 5 Stars

The Wyatt Family def. The New Day

Boring match. Wyatt’s win. New Day sucks. Big E is going to break his neck going through the ropes every big match. He needs to stop.

2 out of 5 Stars

U.S. Champion Rusev def. Zack Ryder

Zack Ryder is so athletic, and yet he is useless against Rusev. I’m sure John Cena can come in and deflate the Rusev Balloon. Boring match.

2 out of 5 Stars

Sami Zayn def. Kevin Owens

Match of the night. Some of the moves didn’t make sense to me, but hey, I loved this. It was a good back and forth match. But it’s unbelievable to me that a frog splash and a superkick can’t put away a smaller wrestler. Sorry, nitpicking.

4 out of 5 Stars

Natalya def. Becky Lynch

Boring.

2 out of 5 Stars

Intercontinental Champion The Miz vs. Darren Young ended in a Double Disqualification

I like Darren Young enough, but this match had no one surprised, and it was funny to watch. It was ok at best.

2 out of 5 Stars

John Cena, Enzo Amore & Big Cass def. The Club

Holy crap, The Club Sandwich boys are now officially buried and done. Cena and his crew win, with Cena getting the pin on Aj. Cena does nothing in WWE without his shovel, and here he is burying The Club Sandwich boys yet again.

2 out of 5 Stars

Randy Orton RKOs Chris Jericho on “The Highlight Reel”

Boring.

1 out of 5 Stars

WWE Champion Dean Ambrose def. Roman Reigns & Seth Rollins (Triple Threat Match)

Not bad. I was actually thinking Roman was going to win this one, but nope. He is going to eat plates of dog poop and like it from now on. It’s funny, Lesnar is busted for drugs outright, and he is not suspended at all. Roman gets busted and he’s gone for 30 days and loses 2 nights in a row. This was a good match, but I don’t like The Shield, and don’t like this match. Although, I like that Colby Lopez is Latino, or at least in a Latino family. Sup essay?

4 out of 5 Stars

The overall event was ok at best. I was bored midway through. I need to get Hulu again.

Don't Call It A Comeback

Sling TV now has USA network, and well, that means that I have access to WWE RAW and SMACKDOWN, so I'm going to be reviewing everything and anything wrestling. My apologies for the delay, sometimes I get jaded, but here we go. Hang on while I start this up one more time and see where we go!

WWE Smackdown 6/23/2016 Results and Review The Feminists Will Hate This Show

WWE Smackdown came to Tucson, Arizona, home of the biggest cult I’ve ever been involved with The Potter’s House. Anyways, they have some of the best food down there. On this night of wrestling, however, the B show didn’t seem low, as there were some great matches, and moments. Here we go a review break down of sorts.

Seth Rollins opened the show, got interrupted by Sami Zayn to set up a match later, only to get interrupted by Dean Ambrose for the Ambrose Asylum show. We were also introduced to David Otunga on the commentary team, so that’s something.

Cesaro defeated Alberto Del Rio

I like Del Rio. I love that he calls everyone perro, great guy. This match was good, short, but sweet. Cesaro put Del Rio through the ringer, and picked up a sick victory. This may be match of the night, but we’re just getting started folks. What a cool little match. You should check this one out no doubt.

Sheamus defeated Apollo Crews by Countout

This match wasn’t much of a match, Sheamus got the win via count out, enough said.

Aj Styles defeated Jimmy Uso

Aj Styles is a beast. However, I don’t get why they booked him to allow Jimmy to have so much offense. They didn’t do that courtesy for John Cena and Karl Anderson. Did you see Anderson get buried on Monday? Odd.

The New Day defeated The Vaudevillains

I wasn’t paying that close attention to this match, but what I can tell you is that The New Day basically buried The Vaudevillains, simple as that.

The Wyatt’s had a promo. I’m sure they are the next champions, done and done.

Dana Brooks defeated Becky Lynch

Becky Lynch lost in this fast match. Is this what the Divas Revolution was all about/ If this is the booking that the WWE is going to put through, I’m not really a fan. Sasha Banks showed up. Have you noticed that the WWE pushes good looking women? That really upsets the feminists out there. But hey, that’s just me. Maybe some feminazis from Twitter can start their own blog and post 1300 posts, and then say something. Oh wait, they won’t. They can’t. They will just talk on Twitter and assume I’m an idiot. This was boring. I’m not a Sasha Banks fan, she’s injury prone.

Seth Rollins defeated Sami Zayn

In one hell of a match Seth Rollins defeated Sami Zayn. This was match of the week, no doubt, and it was absolutely good to see it happen. Rollins was incredible here, and Zayn was able to really turn things around several times. I loved it. You have to check this one out, it will no doubt be on a top 10 list sooner than later.

Overall Rating: 5 out of 10

While there was a good main event, and a nice opener, this was a boring show otherwise. There just wasn’t enough clout to get this one into the books. Zayn and Rollins, what a showcase. Low point, the women’s division.

Feminist Wrestling Fans Running Over Any Opinion

Looks Matter In Wrestling
Recently I had made a few comments about wrestling on Twitter. Someone was jumping all over comments made by Dave Meltzer. He was talking about Bayley’s looks, and if you were a woman you didn’t agree. I agreed. He’s right. Why?

Well let me just say this much. This morning I was at the grocery store, and Sasha Banks was on the cover of Muscle and Fitness. She was featured on there for her body, and looks. She’s not an ugly person.

Show me 1 major push for a woman in pro-wrestling that is featured on magazines and is champion that is “ugly” in the traditional sense. No, not TNA, WWE. I’m not saying Bayley is ugly, but Dave Meltzer is not just some idiot on a blog like me.

Now, addressing Twitter. There’s a lot of feminist tweets going out, and if you’re a male with an educated perspective, you cannot make a comment or you will get hit hard.

Suffice to say, I tried hiring many female writers in my career and was told that I was just “one” opinion. Well, Dave Meltzer’s opinion is just “one” opinion, but nope, I’m wrong, I’m a man, I don’t know anything about wrestling.

I’ve been a fan since 1983, and well that’s not enough.

So a big FU to everyone on Twitter, I deleted my account, screw it. I’m too old I guess.

Roman Reigns Does Drugs - Suspended 30 Days - Heck of A Guy

News broke that your favorite idiot, is doing drugs. That's right, Roman Reigns has been suspended for 30 days for doing drugs. Or rather, violating the wellness policy.

Not only that, he admitted it by saying that he did in fact make a mistake.

So now there's a REAL reason to boo the hell out of this guy.

What a loser.

Kids, Drugs are for losers, unless you have serious depression because you're getting booed out of the building on a regular basis.

This guy needs to just quit wrestling. What a loser.

LOSER.

I'm tired.
