WWE Monday Night Raw December 4, 2017 Results and Review The Dumpster Fire Keeps Burning

Asuka Looking Great - Source WWE dot com
Once again, I am reviewing the HULU version of Monday Night Raw, mainly because I’m on the road in Las Vegas. The night of Wrestling was edited down into 90 minutes of action, and well, here we go, my take on how it all worked out.

WWE Monday Night Raw December 4, 2017 Results and Review

I honestly forget how the show opened. It was mainly talking. Roman Reigns and Jason Jordan were slack jawing about the Intercontinental Title, and how Jordan wants a shot and asks his dad to give him a shot, and Angle obliges. But not until Samoa Joe comes out to challenge, and that prompts a Reigns beat down from Jordan, and what not.

Roman Reigns defeated Jason Jordan

Here we go, not a bad match for Jason Jordan. Jordan fights a 20 minute or so battle with Reigns, who has recently said he was the best wrestler in the entire world. Reigns put the boots to Jordan, but Jason Jordan was dropping a lot of suplexes, dropkicks, and running through the paces of a good match. This wasn’t half bad, it was a fun showcase of stellar wrestling, and some good moments, even though the crowd was booing the crap out of Jordan at some points.

Paige defeated Sasha Banks

Paige actually put on a good match with Banks. The Boss couldn’t handle the onslaught that Paige and her cronies brought, and eventually led to a brawl outside and then Banks beat down Banks finishing her off for the 3 count and her finisher.

Drew Gulak defeated Cedric Alexander, Mustafa Ali, and Tony Nesese

Braun Strowman attacked Elias

Elias wanted a match, and Braun came out to answer, only to beat up Elias, and the match never really started.

Asuka defeated Alicia Fox

This went a lot longer than the last time Asuka fought. Alicia Fox was able to fight a great deal, but in the end it was Asuka that would get the win. I was surprised by how long it took Asuka to win this match, it took her way longer than I would’ve thought, and it was kind of interesting to see how she went through the motions.

Finn Balor defeated Bo Dallas

Matt Hardy and Bray Wyatt Did Dueling Promos

Matt Hardy is now Awoken, and he’s in full Broken or rather Woken mode. It’s going to be interesting to see how he can pin Wyatt, because you know Wyatt loses every time.

Cesaro and Sheamus defeated Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins

The main event was for the Raw tag team titles, and it was interesting to see how it all went down. The two teams work really well, and were able to gain the upper hand on each other left and right. However, Cesaro and Sheamus did get a big win with the help of Samoa Joe, and they retained the titles, in one hell of a main event in Los Angeles.

Raw wasn’t half bad. But let’s be honest. There was no Universal Champion, Reigns and Jordan were getting booed, the main event was good, and the rest of the show was just a lot of fluff if you ask me. Not exactly a great one, but not the worst one I’ve ever seen either.
