WWE 205 Live December 19, 2017 Results and Review Itami Sucks

Hideo Itami vs. Colin Delaney - SRC WWE DOT COM
Here we go, the hour of television that is supposed to be filled with the most action, and yet it’s boring at times, and other times it’s not even worth turning on. Well what about this night? Was this weeks’ 205 Live worth it? Let’s find out.

WWE 205 Live December 19, 2017 Results and Review

The first thing that you should know is that there were only 3 matches on this show, and little to no story line progression. There was a little, but if you missed it, you didn’t miss a whole lot.

Gran Metalik and Kalisto defeated The Brian Kendrick and Jack Gallagher via disqualification

They have turned Jack Gallagher into a nobody, and The Brian Kendrick into another moron. This match wasn’t half bad because Metalik and Kalisto are great at what they do, but the other guys kept grounding them, and trying to focus on mat wrestling. I guess that’s what the cruisewerights are known for, right? They are known for their ground, mat wrestling? These aren’t all Dean Malenko, folks. The end of the match came with a DQ and the bad guys tried to break Metalik’s leg with the metal stair case and that’s really it. Not a great match, but hey, it was something while it lasted.

Hideo Itami defeated Colin Delaney

Alright, Colin Delaney gets another paycheck. I’ll applaud that any day. However, this match was horrendous. Hideo Itami kept asking for the crowd to respect him, and I just wanted to boo him more. He did the Go To Sleep and then went to social media and asked for respect of his move, and not Punk. Whatever, the guy is bland and he sucks, beating up a jobber on 205 live is not a way to introduce this guy, I’m sorry. Yes, I know who Kenta is, and yes, he’s got more charisma as Kenta than he does as this new guy for WWE. (they are the same person)

Cedric Alexander defeated Drew Gulak

Well, this was a hard hitting match, but Gulak wasn’t to win. He got distracted by getting on the top rope and then was thrown off. That’s it. The end of the match, and nothing major to see here. If you missed this, it wasn’t anything that good. Gulak is good in ring, but he is being throw into a tired feud with Alexander, and I already miss Rich Swann.

Overall, 205 Live was not a great show. It was ok at best, and while the WWE is trying here, they are going to end up eliminating this show, I can feel it. I don’t think anyone cares that much, and honestly, the same few guys every week makes this as bad as Ras and Smackdown. The Cruiserweight Classic was great because it had a lot of different characters and wrestlers, this doesn’t. This has the same old BS that other WWE programming has, and it’s starting to wear thin.
