WWE Monday Night Raw December 11, 2017 Results and Review The Same Old Stuff

Roman Reigns vs. Cesaro WWE Raw - Source WWE dot com
If you watch the HULU version of Monday Night Raw, then you know that the good stuff isn’t that good, but at least it wasn’t 9 hours long. Ok, it’s supposed to be 3 hours long, but honestly, the WWE wastes a lot of time with what they are doing. Whatever the case may be, you’ll find that this is a show that has hits and misses, but mostly misses.

WWE Monday Night Raw December 11, 2017 Results and Review

The opening had Samoa Joe cutting a great promo and calling out Roman Reigns. That brought out the rest of the shield, but only after The Bar showed up to help Joe beat up Roman. This took forever it seemed.

Paige and Mandy Rose defeated Bayley and Mickie James

This wasn’t a bad match, but the timing was off at several times. Paige is actually really good, and Many Rose is fine. Mickie James made this match awesome, as her timing is great, but Bayley had a few points where it just didn’t seem like she knew how to work or what she was doing. I was so focused on what she was and wasn’t doing, that I ended up having to hate this math. Paige is still fluid, and Rose was good in ring, but Bayley seemed a little lost, but oh well. This match was decent, especially for a television match.

Woken Matty Hardy and Bray Wyatt Did a Promo

This was boring. It seemed too manufactured.

Finn Balor defeated Curtis Axel

This was not shown on HULU.

Seth Rollins defeated Sheamus

This was a decent match, and despite Sheamus having a neck injury, he was bumping like he felt fine. Rollins did his normal push, but Sheamus was right there with him to counter attacks. Despite a flurry of offense from Sheamus, Rollins was able to get the big win, and it was entertaining to see. This match was good, but I’m honestly tired of seeing these teams wrestling one on one moving forward to a tag team title match.

Cedric Alexander defeated Mustafa Ali, Tony Nese, and Ariya Daivari

Since Rich Swann was arrested and suspended, here comes Cedric Alexander. This wasn’t shown on HULU.

Roman Reigns defeated Cesaro

Cesaro got an intercontinental championship match, and it was good. Cesaro is one of the best wrestlers in the world and it showed. Roman Reigns tried to keep up but it seemed as though Cesaro was one step ahead of him throughout, including blocking the Superman punch, the driveby, and many other moves that Reigns through at him. A great match with a terrible spear ending and Reigns coming out on top.

Absolution Attacked Asuka

This was just a beat down, nothing more. Asuka did manage to clear a few of the girls, but wasn’t able to get the upper hand without help.

Samoa Joe defeated Dean Ambrose

This was not shown on HULU.

Braun Strowman vs. Kane ended in a double count-out

I do not want to see Kane wrestle any longer. Strowman had to sell his offense, and Kane didn’t seem dominant! He kept cowering at times, and it just made Strowman look stronger, while making Kane look like an idiot. The match ended in a double count-out when Strowman speared Kane through the ringside barrier. Then a table was setup in ring and Strowman drilled Kane through it, but it was too little too late.

That was Raw. For a roster that is so full, I feel like we see the same thing over and over again. I guess that’s just the case for WWE today.
