WWE Monday Night Raw February 26, 2018 Results and Review Where Is Lesnar?

No One Is Ready For Asuka - Source WWE dot com
The night after Elimination Chamber, the WWE headed to Anaheim, California and had one hell of a show. This was an interesting night of wrestling, and had a few good moments of course. With that in mind, let’s discuss the WWE Monday Night Raw from February 26, from 2018.

WWE Monday Night Raw February 26, 2018 Results and Review

The show opened up with highlights from the last night, and it wasn’t half bad. I loved the show, I think, it’s been 24 hours removed, but I enjoyed it enough. Tonight’s show opens up with Alexa Bliss and Mickie James coming down to the ring, and baiting Asuka. Once she came down Nia Jax showed up and start to beat her down, and that made a match happen as a result.

Asuka, Sasha Banks and Bayley defeated Alexa Bliss, Nia Jax, and Mickie James

This was an interesting match, although I am tired of the same formula on both shows, six man tags all the time. It’s about time we get something different, and more than just “one” match a night with the women. It seems like they are lumped into one match and then the rest of the show they are forgotten. There should be more than “one” story line featuring the women going on, and in this match they tried to do that.

Asuka would get the win of course, but not without Sasha Banks getting betrayed by Bayley. She refused to tag her partner in, and let her get beat down. It was interesting to see that dynamic, although Bayley came back to help Asuka. This will no doubt lead to a match between the “friends”, I’m sure.

John Cena cuts a promo.

John Cena said he was going to end up on Smackdown and get a shot at getting a match on Mania. This wasn’t bad, but I didn’t care too much. The Undertaker match isn’t going to happen, for now.

Bray Wyatt challenged Matt Hardy again.

Why? This is a dead feud to me.

Seth Rollins defeated The Miz in a non-title match

The Miz was supposed to find out who he was going to face at Mania, but instead got Rollins in a singles match. This was a good back and forth match, with one hell of a move from Rollins. He hit a frog splash from three quarters of the ring away from Miz. It was amazing to see. Seth Rollins dropped a serious amount of offense and got the pinfall from the Miz.

As soon as the match was over, Finn Balor showed up and took away his thunder.

Finn Balor defeated The Miz in a non-title match

The next thing that you found was that The Miz got his cronies to get a DQ finish, but then Kurt Angle appeared on screen and said that he would have to face off against Finn straight up. The two had a fast paced match, but Balor would get the big win. Finn Balor pushed it through and would hit a nice match with a quality finish. The Miz loses again.

Roman Reigns cut a promo.

Roman Reigns did the same promo that John Cena did against The Rock, oh well.

The Bar defeated Titus Worldwide

This was a fast paced match with The Bar getting a quick pin at first, and then after that, the Titus Worldwide crew threw down some nice back and forth. But to no avail, because The Bar was able to throw down a great deal of offense and of course their finisher for another win. They then cut a promo and said that no one is left. I think they may be right.

Braun Strowman defeated Elias by Disqualification

Elias kept evading Strowman after he did his song to start. Elias was running around the ring and eventually went under it. Braun pulled him out and Elias had a fire extinguisher and kaboom, he hit him with the smoke, and that got him disqualified. Elias then ran, but Strowman kept chasing him and said that he wasn’t finished with him yet.

I suspect a guitar on a pole match is coming.

Ronda Rousey confronted Triple H and Stephanie McMahon

This had Ronda Rousey on the mic, which was bad. Kurt Angle caught a right hand from Triple H, and that was that. Stephanie apologized to Ronda, Kurt said he lied, and that was the end of Raw.

The night wasn’t too bad. There was a lot of wrestling shoved into the time slot, but there was a lot to be desired. I didn’t hate the night, but where was the rest of the tag division? Why did Cena and Reigns talk so much? Heck, why was the main event not a wrestling match? Oh well. This wasn’t half bad, but it wasn’t great either.

WWE Monday Night Raw December 11, 2017 Results and Review The Same Old Stuff

Roman Reigns vs. Cesaro WWE Raw - Source WWE dot com
If you watch the HULU version of Monday Night Raw, then you know that the good stuff isn’t that good, but at least it wasn’t 9 hours long. Ok, it’s supposed to be 3 hours long, but honestly, the WWE wastes a lot of time with what they are doing. Whatever the case may be, you’ll find that this is a show that has hits and misses, but mostly misses.

WWE Monday Night Raw December 11, 2017 Results and Review

The opening had Samoa Joe cutting a great promo and calling out Roman Reigns. That brought out the rest of the shield, but only after The Bar showed up to help Joe beat up Roman. This took forever it seemed.

Paige and Mandy Rose defeated Bayley and Mickie James

This wasn’t a bad match, but the timing was off at several times. Paige is actually really good, and Many Rose is fine. Mickie James made this match awesome, as her timing is great, but Bayley had a few points where it just didn’t seem like she knew how to work or what she was doing. I was so focused on what she was and wasn’t doing, that I ended up having to hate this math. Paige is still fluid, and Rose was good in ring, but Bayley seemed a little lost, but oh well. This match was decent, especially for a television match.

Woken Matty Hardy and Bray Wyatt Did a Promo

This was boring. It seemed too manufactured.

Finn Balor defeated Curtis Axel

This was not shown on HULU.

Seth Rollins defeated Sheamus

This was a decent match, and despite Sheamus having a neck injury, he was bumping like he felt fine. Rollins did his normal push, but Sheamus was right there with him to counter attacks. Despite a flurry of offense from Sheamus, Rollins was able to get the big win, and it was entertaining to see. This match was good, but I’m honestly tired of seeing these teams wrestling one on one moving forward to a tag team title match.

Cedric Alexander defeated Mustafa Ali, Tony Nese, and Ariya Daivari

Since Rich Swann was arrested and suspended, here comes Cedric Alexander. This wasn’t shown on HULU.

Roman Reigns defeated Cesaro

Cesaro got an intercontinental championship match, and it was good. Cesaro is one of the best wrestlers in the world and it showed. Roman Reigns tried to keep up but it seemed as though Cesaro was one step ahead of him throughout, including blocking the Superman punch, the driveby, and many other moves that Reigns through at him. A great match with a terrible spear ending and Reigns coming out on top.

Absolution Attacked Asuka

This was just a beat down, nothing more. Asuka did manage to clear a few of the girls, but wasn’t able to get the upper hand without help.

Samoa Joe defeated Dean Ambrose

This was not shown on HULU.

Braun Strowman vs. Kane ended in a double count-out

I do not want to see Kane wrestle any longer. Strowman had to sell his offense, and Kane didn’t seem dominant! He kept cowering at times, and it just made Strowman look stronger, while making Kane look like an idiot. The match ended in a double count-out when Strowman speared Kane through the ringside barrier. Then a table was setup in ring and Strowman drilled Kane through it, but it was too little too late.

That was Raw. For a roster that is so full, I feel like we see the same thing over and over again. I guess that’s just the case for WWE today.

WWE Raw November 7, 2017 Results and Review The Logical Gap Widens

Stellar Boot
If you were to apply logic to the latest WWE booking, you would be sorely disappointed. I know I was today. This was an insane night of wrestling, and you know what? I didn’t even see the whole thing. I saw the HULU edition and was disappointed by the selection that they chose. There is logic issues that you may want to consider here. It’s odd.

WWE Raw November 7, 2017 Results and Review HULU Edition

First and foremost, the show opened up with Miz TV as the opening segment. Lots of talking, and random BS, with Kurt Angle saying that the Miz would have to fight Braun Strowman. But here’s the thing, I thought the title was on the line, but apparently it wasn’t. Oh well.

Jason Jordan defeated Elias in a Guitar On A Pole Match

This wasn’t shown on HULU

Asuka defeated Stacy Coates

This wasn’t on HULU

FInn Balor and Samoa Joe went to a double count out

Samoa Joe came out to cut a promo about how no one could beat him. He said that anyone that stood in front of him would get put down. He first took out Titus, but then out came Finn Balor aka Alex Wright 2.0. Now, this wasn’t crazy, mind you, it was just an average back and forth match, with lots of counters. The match went into a brawl and the refs came out to stop it, and it was a double count out. But Angle came out and said that they both were team members for Survivor Series. Not a great match, not a bad match.

Sasha Banks and Bayley defeated Alicia Fox and Nia Jax

This wasn’t bad. This was a good women’s match, but Jax once again is on the losing end, while Banks and Bayley got the win. Fox hits hard, I’m surprised how hard she hits the women, but she eventually tapped out, and then said that she wanted Banks on her team, not Bayley! So Banks will be on the Survivor Series team.

Braun Strowman defeated The MIz via DQ

Hey, remember that title match? NO? Good, because the title wasn’t on the line. I don’t know why they do this, but oh well. Strowman ran through The Miz, and then Kane came out to cause the disqualification. Strowman beat up Kane, then beat up the Miz and his crew. That was that. I don’t like the booking here, it doesn’t make sense. Why didn’t Miz just run with his belt, he survived it doesn’t matter any longer.

Pete Dunne defeated Enzo Amore

This wasn’t shown on HULU

Cesaro and Sheamus defeated Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose for the Raw Tag Team Titles

This wasn’t bad, mind you. It just wasn’t great. The match was ok, for what it was, and it featured a lot of action, back and forth moves, and some good moments. But the ending was baffling. Out comes the New Day in the crowd and gets on the MIC. Angle commands all of the Raw guys to come down to the ring and defend Raw, but in the middle of this, the match stops and out of nowhere a Brogue kick levels the champions, and boom, new title holders. That’s right, title change! Ok, sure, why not?

That’s the end of Raw, and you know, it felt like it was 9 hours long. Not a bad show, but logically it made no sense to me, but hey, it’s WWE and they do whatever the hell they want these days. I did like some of the action, but honestly, I’m tired of the same match ups over and over again.

WWE TLC 2017 Results and Review The Angle Return

WWE TLC 2017 - SRC WWE DOT COM
This past Sunday WWE had an event known as TLC. It usually features an array of matches with no rules, but not this time, this time you’re going to find that there were a lot of matches that had a lot of rules, and some that just seemed like a joke. Well, if you didn’t watch it or you did watch it and are waiting for me to talk about it, today is your lucky day. I’ve watched too much wrestling in a short span of time.

WWE TLC 2017 Results and Review

Sasha Banks defeated Alicia Fox

Alicia Fox has been hitting her stride as someone that is crazy, and hits hard in the ring. She busted Sasha Banks wide open on Raw, and in this match the two hit each other hard. I mean a lot harder than most of the divas or the women, rather, and it was nice to see them get physical and not “sexy”. The two put on a show of strength and eventually Banks would get the big win.

Asuka defeated Emma

There is no rhyme or reason for the way that this match went. Asuka won but it took her roughly 20 minutes to get the job done. Emma has been a jobber on Raw but was able to take on Asuka in this match and surprise her. She nearly got a few pinfalls, and that really shocked the crowd. But of course it was Asuka getting her big win and moment on the PPV that really was the story here, and it was a good opener for a hot crowd of 13,000 plus fans.

Cedric Alexander and Rich Swann defeated Jack Gallagher and The Brian Kendrick

This was a high flying, fast paced match, and it really was good to see. The main spot I recall was a Phoenix Splash from the top onto Kendrick, and a lot of diving. I loved it. This was a great cruiserweight match that was a lot of fun to watch and had some great spots overall. The teams work really well together, and the crowd was into the offense, even if no one is watching 205 Live.

Alexa Bliss defeated Mickie James

Mickie James carried Alexa Bliss to a great match in my opinion. The two had some miscues at certain times, but overall, this match was a fun romp that had a lot going for it. It had a lot of back and forth, good chemistry at times, and Bliss hitting and missing her moves. James is a veteran and can go fast or slow, and doesn’t look winded at all. I liked this one, and Bliss would get the win with the DDT because I like her and that’s awesome! Or because she’s awesome, I don’t know, I love her.

Enzo Amore defeated Kalisto

Well, you knew this was going to happen, didn’t you? Well Kalisto put on a good lucha match, and you know what? Enzo was good too. That’s right, Enzo was great here and he put on a show of great back and forth action with some great overall moves. His top rope leaping DDT is great to watch, and really is a positive. He would win with a thumb to the eye, and a roll up, but that’s ok.

The Demon Finn Balor defeated Aj Styles

A dream match for the ages, and it was quite good overall. A lot of back and forth, no one got the advantage early on, and the two traded moves like there was no tomorrow. Styles looked tired from his 18 hour flight, but Balor carried him at times, and you know what? Styles is the best in the world at what he does, and it shows. The Demon would get the win with his finisher, and he would come out like Alex Wright on Raw. This was a good overall match, with lots of back and forth, kicks, and some nice shotgun blasts from Finn Balor, who took this first of what may be many matches between the two.

Jason Jordan defeated Elias

Throughout the show you had to endure Elias trying to play his music and Jordan interrupting by throwing salad at him. This was an insult of the eighteen century, and while the match was good, the crowd was dead and Elias would lose again. Why is this guy getting so much heat and losing? He should be winning and getting monster heat, but hey, I don’t write the shows, I just watch them. This was a better match than I thought, and it was worth their time slot before the main event.

Kurt Angle and The Shield defeated Braun Strowman, Kane, Cesaro, Sheamus, and the Miz in a TLC Match

Kurt Angle came out in shield uniform and got a huge reaction. He seemed so happy to just be there, and it showed. When you watch this match, you could tell that the teams were treating Kurt with kid gloves. They were protecting him throughout all of the offense, and the younger men were taking on a bulk of the responsibility. At one point Kurt gets powerslammed through a table and is carted away. Then the Shield has to try and fight off 5 men. This was exactly like Hogan and Savage versus the Dungeon of Doom and the Four Horseman in a steel cage at Superbrawl. I loved the cheese factor, but the match was very long and kind of convoluted at times. There was a spot where Braun Strowman was throwing into a dumpster! That’s right, a dumpster and carted away. Angle would return with his music and then he would take out 4 guys, before he would eventually get the better of The Miz and win big.

Overall, TLC 2017 was an entertaining show and was made a lot better by Aj Styles and Kurt Angle. I didn’t miss Roman Reigns at all, even though his music played at the end, and that was that. This may have been the most fun that I’ve had watching WWE in a long time, and it was definitely worth checking out again. I just wish my stream wasn’t lagging and skipping, which is a constant issue I’m seeing with the WWE network on the iPhone.

Kurt Angle Joins The Shield At TLC 2017

I'm not a news site for pro wrestling, I just review it when I see it. Well, this Sunday at TLC live on the WWENETWORK, you're going to get your chance to see Kurt Angle back in action.

Oh it's true, it's damn true!

You see, WWE has signed Angle to compete with Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose versus the 5 guy team of idiots.

Furthermore, Aj Styles will take on Finn Balor! But who cares about that, Kurt MOFO Angle is going to be fighting in the main event!

WWE Monday Night Raw July 17, 2017 Results and Review Quite Possibly The Worst

The Best Part of Raw Was The Drifter Knocking Out Finn Balor With A Guitar
Oh boy, Raw was getting a lot of attention in the media. People were going crazy on social media about the night, and whether or not Dixie Carter was going to be the reveal for Kurt Angle’s secret. I was excited until Angle spoke, and am still stunned at how bad this thing played out. Nothing that you thought it would be is what it was, and the rest of the card was, well absolutely dumb. Live from Nashville, Tn. Last night’s Monday Night Raw really pummeled the senses, and I could only stand the HULU version, because 3 hours of this nightmare was just too predictable at times, and awful at others. Let’s see how it went down in this HULU version review.

WWE Monday Night Raw July 17, 2017 Results and Review

Intercontinental Champion The Miz and The Miztourage confronted Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins

Dean Ambrose started the show and Seth Rollins came out. At one point Rollins asked Ambrose to hit him in the back with a chair, asking for the former Shield Member to forgive him for turning his back on the team. That’s when The Miz and his cronies showed up and the trio beat the holy crap out of Rollins and Ambrose. That would prompt for a handicap match for next week. But this week, The Miz and his buddies got the beat down on the two Shield guys.

I’m so tired of Ambrose and Rollins.

Bayley def. Raw Women's Champion Alexa Bliss

A short match, that was not revoluiontary at all. Bliss loses here, gets pinned cleaned thanks to a distraction outside. Sasha Banks ran down and beat up Nia Jax, distracting Bliss and getting Bayley the win. Banks and Bayley will wrestle next week to see who is the number one contender against Bliss for Summerslam. Doesn’t Banks get a rematch? I don’t know, not a bad match, but it was very short. Where are the other women on the roster? So much for that revolution.

Gentleman Jack Gallagher and Mustafa Ali def. The Brian Kendrick and Drew Gulak

This wasn’t on HULU.

Big Cass confronted Enzo Amore

Not On HULU.

Finn Bálor def. Elias Samson via Disqualification

I like Samson, and I like the drifter gimmick. Balor looked to be getting this one easily, but not so fast. Samson came roaring back with some great offense, and when he got frustrated, he hit Balor with a guitar shot that busted him wide open. Samsons guitar shot was 100 times harder than anything you’ve seen from Jeff Jarrett, and akin to the shot that The Honky Tonk Man hit Jake Roberts with in the past. It was hard, it cut Finn wide open, and it really made this point special.

Ariya Daivari def. Akira Tozawa via Match Stoppage

Not on HULU.

Raw General Manager Kurt Angle revealed his personal announcement

The worst segment ever. Kurt Angle is the father of one of American Alpha. I don’t care, you don’t care, this is absolutely the worst.

The Revival def. The Hardy Boyz

Not a bad match, The Hardy Boyz must become broken, they just have to. That Broken gimmick is one of the best things in the past decade, and this should send them down the spiral that will no doubt get them to start DELETING people. DELETE! DELETE! DELETE!

Roman Reigns vs. Samoa Joe ended in a No Contest

A strong match that I loved, until the ending. Brown Shoeman showed up and interfered, and while he got into the fray with Joe and Reigns, there was no real winner, which was dumb. I wish there was a definitive winner in this feud. Not only that, how did Brown Shoeman heal up so fast? I want whatever medical help he has, because it’s better than mine.

Final Raw Thoughts

Raw wasn’t a terrible show, but it was far from good. There was probably 2 good things that happened, and none of it featured a title. I don’t know why Raw is booked so loosely with so little wrestling, but that’s what we’re getting this year. Perhaps Smackdown will be more fun? I don’t know, I may not even watch it, who knows. As for Raw, I’m sure the live crowd had fun, but I didn’t have fun watching this. I immediately had to take a nap.

WWE Monday Night Raw June 19, 2017 Results and Review – Bad Booking Continues in 2017

Loved This Angle - SRC WWE.COM
I’m fortunate enough to be watching the HULU version. I previously was watching the Youtube condensed versions from people uploading them, but they were so unreliable that I have now just waited for the HULU version to upload and that’s it. So today I’m going to review what I recall from the HULU version, since they didn’t include everything, and well, that’s what the WWE felt was important enough to show on the pay service. So that’s what I’m discussing, and here we go, from Evansville, Indiana, June 19, 2017 Monday Night Raw.

Roman Reigns Announcement For Summerslam

Roman Reigns came out to tell the crowd in Indiana that he was going to be the next contender for the Universal Championship. That is either going to set up a Samoa Joe match against Roman Reigns or it’s going to set up a Brock Lesnar and Roman Reigns grudge match. Either way, Roman did ok on the mic here, but he was interrupted by Samoa Joe. Reigns called him a dude named Joe, and that sparked some words, before the two started brawling. Joe has a point, Reigns has NOT beaten him, and the two would meet later on tonight.

The Drifter Gets Interrupted

The Drifter came out and asked the crowd, who wants to walk with Elias! I do! I love this gimmick, and really hope that eventually he hits someone with a guitar. I love that. Well, not when Jeff Jarrett did it, but when Honky Tonk Man did it, it was awesome. The Drifter got confronted by Finn Balor, but he left. Hang on to that thought.

Finn Balor defeated Bo Dallas

Bo Dallas came out aggressive and was beating the snot out of Finn Balor. If Finn Balor is so dominant, why did Bo Dallas get so much offense against him? Bo was looking like a million bucks against the first Universal Champion ever. Either way, Balor turned things around with his offense stolen from Alex Wright, and eventually won against Dallas. I guess he didn’t BO LIEVE.

Seth Rollins Panders To The Crowd

Seth Rollins came out and was pandering to people about the new WWE 2K18 game. Then Bray Wyatt came out and said something, and that will most likely set up a match between the two? I guess that’s that. Wyatt to lose again, I’m sure.

Finn Balor Beat Down by Elias

Backstage, Finn Balor was getting interviewed when Elias “The Drifter” Samson hit him from behind and knocked him out. This was awesome, and will most likely setup a good match between the two. Elias is doing well with this gimmick, and I hope the WWE doesn’t screw it up, but of course, they will.

Samoa Joe defeated Roman Reigns

This was a really good match for Raw. The crowd was into it, and I was into it. Samoa Joe was putting some good work in against Roman Reigns, and Reigns was not backing down. He was hitting Joe with some strong offense, but Joe was outsmarting him at times. Joe would eventually turn things around as Braun Strowman showed up on the screen with an ambulance. Joe got his finisher sleeper on, the Clutch, if you will, and Reigns passed out. That’s correct folks, SAMOA JOE defeats Roman Reigns in the middle of the ring, nearly clean. Post match, Shoeman (not a typo), beat up Reigns and challenged him to an ambulance match.

The Miz Recruits Bo Dallas and Curtis Axel

The Miz went backstage and told the two jobbers that he can make both of them stars. All they had to do was join him. Keep that in mind.

Maryse On MIZ TV

Miz TV had a guest, it was Maryse, and despite her good looks, she’s looking a bit older these days. There were two dancing bears there, and Miz was promising to give a gift. It was the grandfather clock that Miz repaired since he beat it down last week. Maryse was thrilled, but out came Dean Ambrose. He beat up Miz, they broke the clock, Maryse spilled her drink, ran off, and then the bears. The bears beat down Dean Ambrose and pulled their heads off to reveal it was Bo Dallas and Curtis Axel! I kid you not. They finally have something to do on Raw.

Nia Jax defeated Sasha Banks via DQ

This match didn’t get far. Alexa Bliss and Emma got into it on commentary, Bliss ran into the ring to get help from Nia, and that led to brawling from all the women, in what was an embarrassment of a segment. Wait, I forgot, Bayley came out looking a bit tired and flabby and beat everyone up. Word on the street is that she’s going to start to have a crush on Graves. Meh.

Kurt Angle Revealed Enzo and Cass Attack Villain

The show ended without wrestling. I kid you not, the show ended with NO WRESTLING in the ring. Instead, Graves, Angle, Cass, The Revival, Big Show, and Enzo all were in the ring trying to get to the bottom of the attacks. As it turned out, Cass attacked Enzo and that was that. Enzo started crying, Cass gave a great speech, and that was that. Cass attacked Enzo. Why would the WWE split a great team like this up? Why would they make the heels all win all the time? Why did the show end without wrestling? I don’t know. That was the end, and that was that.

WWE Monday Night Raw May 8, 2017 Results and Review Vince Russo Is Back

Cool Boots Yo - SRC wwe.com
If you tuned into Monday Night Raw last night, then you swore that Vince Russo was back. That’s how stupid and idiotic the show became at times. In fact, it was so bad, that I got into an argument on a Facebook group, and eventually got booted out. That’s the second group of internet wrestling fans that I have made upset. To the point where I’m sour on meeting other wrestling fans, because they all seem to be jerks, idiots, and have a podcast where they get to make a one sided conversation about things. They can GTFO for all I care. There’s a reason why I can’t have friends, apparently. Man, I hope Carlo Moss and Lump are doing well, I’m sure they would agree with me on some of these stupid decisions made by Raw.

WWE Monday Night Raw Results

Kurt Angle named Intercontinental Champion Dean Ambrose the acting General Manager of Raw
Finn Bálor def. The Miz
Raw Women's Champion Alexa Bliss def. Mickie James
Roman Reigns attacked Braun Strowman
Cesaro and  Sheamus won a Tag Team Turmoil Match to become No. 1 contenders to the Raw Tag Team Championship
Seth Rollins def. Samoa Joe via Disqualification
TJP def. Gentleman Jack Gallagher
Sasha Banks def. Alicia Fox
Bray Wyatt def. Intercontinental Champion Dean Ambrose

WWE Monday Night Raw Review

Why in the blue hell would Kurt Angle give Dean Ambrose control of the show? Isn’t he the lunatic fringe? What does that even mean any more? Seriously? What the hell? So Dean is in charge, for now, but you’ll find out that Miz is also in charge! Oh god, why?

Finn Bálor def. The Miz

Finn Balor, when he is not the Demon King, is just another European wrestler. He has no charisma, and if he were given a dance move, just one dance move, he would be Alex Freakin Wright! No, Alex Wright actually held championships in WCW and beat some of the top talent. What has Balor done? He can’t even cut a damn promo, I don’t know a thing he’s saying. The Miz got the BRICKS beaten out of him in this match, and he’s constantly relegated to getting beat down. He’s so over with the fans, and yet the booking committee wants to see him get beat all the time. Sure, that’s a way to build credibility, have a guy lose every match. Balor won after a slew of kicks, and random fast offense. It surprises me that he is doing so much power wrestling, considering he just came off of a concussion, but hey, what do I know, right?

Raw Women's Champion Alexa Bliss def. Mickie James

Mickie James went from being one hell of a heel, to being a smiley face baby with Bayley on her side. Bliss aligned herself with Nia Jax, promising her a title match down the road if they were friend snow. Mickie James is great in ring, I love her style, and Bliss did well here. Bliss is phenomenal, and I’m absolutely impressed with how she carries herself in the ring. Great stuff here.

Roman Reigns attacked Braun Strowman

Kalisto was supposed to fight Brown Shoeman in a one-armed wrestling match. Well, that didn’t happen because Roman Reigns showed up and beat up Strowman. Word on the street is that he’s injured now, and he will not take on Bork Lazer.

Speaking of Bork. Where the hell is the damn champion? Why does Raw have a champion that is NEVER on television? Why hasn’t Dean defended his title? Why is anyone champion at this point if they are never going to wrestle for it? Kayfabe is dead, and logic is also dead. This is a load of garbage. Kalisto is wasted here.

Cesaro and Sheamus won a Tag Team Turmoil Match to become No. 1 contenders to the Raw Tag Team Championship

Why would these guys just bury everyone? They buried all other teams fast, and will once again face the Hardy Boys. I guarantee the Boys are going to be “Broken” in due time. Terrible match, terrible pacing, burying your tag division like this is just dumbfounding.

Seth Rollins def. Samoa Joe via Disqualification

Well, this makes no sense. What is Seth Rollins’ character now? What does Samoa Joe do? He already lost. What the hell is this feud? I don’t care about this at all, and you shouldn’t either. This was beyond boring.

TJP def. Gentleman Jack Gallagher

This was a workable match. TJP is killer in the ring, but he’s lost in the shuffle of this division. This whole division sucks. Gallagher is great, he puts on a show every time he’s in the ring, and it is always nice to see him get a win. This wasn’t his night though, TJP gets the victory in a division that is definitely floundering.

Sasha Banks def. Alicia Fox

Do I really need to comment on this? Sasha Banks is the boss of what? More like the administrative assistant at this point. Boring.

Bray Wyatt def. Intercontinental Champion Dean Ambrose

Well, well, a non-title match. Bray Wyatt is the king of non-title match wins, isn’t he? He can’t win anything else, but as soon as you put him in a match in which he works a champion and doesn’t have the title on the line, he wins in dominant fashion. Wyatt is wasted here.

I thought it was time to shake things up? Why are all the Raw matches the same as Smackdown? I’ve already seen all of these feuds on Smackdown! Where is the champion? Why is this the A show? Why am I still watching?

Oh and why do internet wrestling fans get so damn butt hurt if you have an opinion that doesn’t align with what they feel? Seriously. You say one negative thing and they start crying like a bunch of babies. Also, big middle finger to RBR Wrestling and Smart Wrestling Fan, my least favorite podcasts, hosted by a bunch of babies. GTFO, I’m unsubscribed for a reason. Bunch of idiots. Idiots, I say!

WWF Wrestlemania X7 Results and Review Stone Cold Turns Super Heel

The Astrodome played home for the biggest event of 2001. This was the biggest Wrestlemania in my memory. In 2001, the WWF was riding all time high attendance, and ratings. WCW was no competition, and no one could hold a candle to what the WWF was doing with the Attitude Era. This event went live on April 1, 2001 and I watched it live with my friends Lump and Carlo Moss. I’m sure they are out there somewhere. What’s up guys?!

This had some hits and misses, like any other event, but the big main event really had things going over the top. The gross ticket sales amounted to 3.4 million dollars, and nearly 70,000 people saw this live. I would’ve gone, had I been able to, that’s for sure. If you’re a fan of Limp Bizkit, then you’ll love that the show kept playing “My Way”. Anyways, here is how it all went down and my thoughts about the matches.

WWF Wrestlemania X7 Results

Chris Jericho defeated William Regal (Intercontinental Championship Match)
Tazz and the APA defeated Right To Censor
Kane defeated Raven and The Big Show (Hardcore Title Match)
Eddie Guerrero defeated Test (European Title Match)
Kurt Angle defeated Chris Benoit
Chyna defeated Ivory (Women’s Title Match)
Shane McMahon defeated Mr. McMahon in a Street Fight (with Mick Foley as referee)
Edge and Christian defeated The Dudleys, and The Hardys
The Iron Sheik won a gimmick Battle Royal
The Undertaker defeated Triple H
Stone Cold Steve Austin defeated The Rock (WWF Title)

WWF Wrestlemania X7 Review

NOTE: There was a dark match for Sunday Night Heat, but they didn’t show it for the full event, and on the network, sorry.

Chris Jericho defeated William Regal (Intercontinental Championship Match)

This was an odd choice to open the show, if you ask me. The two men are great at what they do, but this was less than exciting. It was more mat based than anything, even though Jericho was doing some of his normal flying through the air. Regal was definitely doing his hard style English wrestling, so that was interesting against Jericho’s flights. Jericho would get the win and Regal would lose another shot at the IC Title.

Tazz and the APA defeated Right To Censor

This 4 minue match was fun, and should’ve been the opener if you ask me. When Tazz came out the crowd went ballistic, alongside the APA. Right To Censor died a death here, and all members got beat down by Tazz and the APA. Bradshaw’s clotheslines are scary, he probably would’ve knocked me the hell out. Fast paced, to the point, only 4 minutes of action, but well worth it.

Kane defeated Raven and The Big Show (Hardcore Title Match)

My favorite wrestler growing up was Raven. Well, my teenage years anyways. This match was fun. A brawl that went through the back. Watch out for Raven getting thrown through a window, Big Show getting thrown through a wall, and Kane jumping off the stage for the win. This was a wild brawl that was a testament to the Hardcore Title back in the day.

Eddie Guerrero defeated Test (European Title Match)

This was not a great match. Test did an ok job with Guerrero, but this felt really forced. I didn’t really like it that match, and if you remember the storylines. Test is lumbering, and Guerrero did his best, but this match didn’t feel that great, and the crowd wasn’t as over. Guerrero had better matches in WWF, this wasn’t one of them.

Kurt Angle defeated Chris Benoit

This was a stellar mat wrestling match. This was two wrestlers in their primes, and they traded suplexes, slams, and more. Kurt Angle would get the win, but not without Benoit going down swinging. This was no doubt one of the better matches on the card.

Chyna defeated Ivory (Women’s Title Match)

A burial. This went a little over than 2 minutes and it was bad.

Shane McMahon defeated Mr. McMahon in a Street Fight (with Mick Foley as referee)

In only 15 minutes, Shane McMahon and Vince put on a street fight for the ages. This was so great, and the two basically got out all of their aggression. It was absolutely insane. You have to see this match. Shane and Vince busted wide open, Foley trying to control things. Linda McMahon crotch shots, so much more. This was pure hell, and just insane. Great stuff here.

Edge and Christian defeated The Dudleys, and The Hardys

If the Street Fight wasn’t enough, this match won you over in about 16 minutes. These three teams went toe to toe in a TLC match. Every hit here had to hurt, and every fall was insane. The guys threw themselves around so much, I had no idea how they were still standing afterwards. Triple table breaks, ladder shots, and falls that were just too much. Edge and Christian got a little help, and won, but wow, what a match.

The Iron Sheik won a gimmick Battle Royal

There were 18 people that came down for this match including Repo Man, Earthquake, The Goon, Kamala, Brother Love, Jim Cornette, and so many others. Sheik won by eliminating Hillbilly Jim, and this was just filler but fun no doubt.

The Undertaker defeated Triple H

This was not a good match. The Undertaker and Triple H put on a slow moving, boring match if you ask me. It was a brawl, it went into the crowd, Triple H used the sledgehammer, but it was far from their battles that would come down the line for retirement. Undertaker was great here, Triple H was carrying too much weight if you ask me.

Stone Cold Steve Austin defeated The Rock (WWF Title)

Holy crap. 30 minutes of pure good wrestling. Austin couldn’t put away The Rock, he just couldn’t do it. So he eventually had the help of Vince McMahon. Jim Ross called it best, “Steve Austin is shaking hands with Satan himself!”. Whatever the case was, the crowd went absolutely nuts for the near falls in this match, and the end, holy crap, holy crap. When Austin won, even with Vince’s help, the crowd went ballistic, and just so much fun.

Final Verdict

WWF Wrestlemania X7 is by far one of the best events that the WWF has ever put together. I loved it. It was absolutely fun. If you find this on dvd, you have to get it. The edits from the network are dumb, and they don’t give you the Sunday Night Heat match. Great overall event though, man this was fun. I’d watch it again, no doubt.

WWF Royal Rumble 2001 Results and Review: A Better VHS Experience

For this review we are going back to 2001 for the Royal Rumble! The Royal Rumble in 2001 was stacked. It was absolutely stacked with some of the best wrestlers from all eras of wrestling. Remember, this was just a few months before WCW would get bought out, and it was the same year that one of the most epic battles went down at Wrestlemania.

This event was held at the MCI Center In New Orleans and had 17,137 people in attendance. It was one of the hottest crowds in 2001, and definitely one of the better options that you will want to consider. The VHS version has all unedited footage, with all original music, and a lot more to offer compared to the network version, but the network does have this event up. With that in mind, let’s get to the big event with the following results and review.

WWF Royal Rumble 2001 Results

The Dudley Boyz (Bubba Ray Dudley and D-Von Dudley) defeated Edge and Christian
Chris Jericho defeated Chris Benoit
Ivory (c) (with Steven Richards) defeated Chyna
Kurt Angle defeated Triple H
Stone Cold Steve Austin won the Royal Rumble

WWF Royal Rumble 2001 Review

First and foremost, the crowd for this event was absolutely going insane from the start of the show. The opening match alone had people going crazy, but it was the Rumble match itself that really took things to another level.

The Dudley Boyz (Bubba Ray Dudley and D-Von Dudley) defeated Edge and Christian

This was a fast paced match that saw the Dudley Boyz capture the Tag Team titles from the duo of Edge and Christian. The crowd was great for this, and the match was very back and forth. Edge and Christian did the “Wazzup” spot at one point, or at least tried, and the crowd lost themselves completely. Even through the network’s terrible editing, you could hear the pandemonium going on.

Match Rating: 4 out of 5

Chris Jericho defeated Chris Benoit (IC Title Ladder Match)

As far as ladder matches are concerned, this is one of the better ones. However, there were moments that didn’t make sense from a story telling stand point. The Walls of Jericho on a ladder just doesn’t fit, if you ask me. However, the overall push of this match was good, and Jericho was doing grand things in WWE compared to his last WCW run from 1998 – 1999.

Match Rating: 3 out of 5

Ivory (c) (with Steven Richards) defeated Chyna

This was a weird match. I forgot how good Chyna really was. She did a spot and landed awkwardly, which sold an injury. The injury angle was treated as real, and I had to look online to see if it was in fact real. It wasn’t. This ended too early.

Match Rating: 2 out of 5

Kurt Angle defeated Triple H

One hell of a match. Triple H and Angle put on a great show here. It was powerful, fast paced, and Angle’s slams were just second to none. It’s funny, 1 year earlier, Angle was getting tapped out to Tazz, and this year he’s in the championship title match with Trips. The match was great, ref bumps and all, and of course Stone Cold running in to beat up Triple H. The crowd went ballistic when Stone Cold showed up and beat up Triple H. great stuff here. Angle won.

Match Rating: 4 out of 5

Stone Cold Steve Austin won the Royal Rumble

The main event, and one of the better Royal Rumble matches. There were a few surprise entrants, but nothing too great. The best part about this was the amount of big hitters from this year. Undertaker, Kane, Stone Cold, Rikishi, The Rock, and so much more were involved in this one. The Rock got a serious beat down, Triple H nearly cost Stone Cold’s win, and he was busted wide open, great stuff. This is the second best Royal Rumble right behind Royal Rumble 1992.

Match Rating: 5 out of 5

Overall, you should look for the original DVD or VHS tape as it was heavily edited from the original if you see it on the network. I noticed a lot of errors, and at one point there’s a complete change and omission in the Royal Rumble match. The production crew either blatantly messed something up, or they edited, cut, and deleted 11 seconds of the Royal Rumble match. I am thinking it’s a full censorship of someone flashing the camera, a crotch grab, a boob, or something. It’s so noticeable, you will know when it happens.

TNA Against All Odds 2011 Results and Review

TNA Against All Odds PPV

The crowd seemed hot for this one, and it was nice to hear. I wish the announcers talked about it. THe opening match had me pumping my fist, that's for sure...because Robbie E and Cookie can really create some heat. I am a fan of Robbie E, even if I'm the only one.

Robbie E faced off one on one with Kaz, and the match was really fast paced, with lots of fast moments. Cookie got involved and I was marking out for the old school ending, but when Kaz kicked out of a roll up after getting hit in the face with a boot I saw this match slipping away from the New Jersey bad boy. Kaz would eventually get the win, after the Fade to Black Reverse Tombstone, and the crowd went wild. NOt a terrible match, but it left a lot to be desired from me. These guys can put up a better match, even if all we got was this one. Robbie E should have the title, if I do say so myself.

Kaz defeated Robbie E in the X Division Title Match

Immortal came out with the body guards (Gunner and Murphy, and Rob Terry) came out for a match, and I already hated it. ROb Terry is so huge, that he should've kept that feud with Orlando Jordan. They were building it up to be quite good. Beer Money would get a shot at them, and they are just wasted here. Big Poppa Pump came out to join them, and he's the only big name in this match up. I think I might mark out huge for an Undertaker vs Steiner match, just for the meeting. This match wasn't a complete waste, but it was apparent that Robert Roode and his partner were carrying the work load. Steiner was way over with the in ring crowd, which was nice. Steiner delivered a top rope Frankensteiner!!!!!!! I kid you not, TOP ROPE FRANKENSTEINER! Scott Steiner hit one hell of a move and I marked out huge, alongside the rest of the crowd, wow! A HUGE FRANKENSTEINER saves the day!

Beer Money & Scott Steiner defeated Gunner, Murphy & Rob Terry

Samoa Joe and The Pope put on a good enough match. I'm always surprised at how Samoa Joe can move in ring. He can really go, despite how fat I perceive him being. He started this match fast and the crowd was all about it. Joe has some great finesse in ring, He seems to float through some of his moves, and it's really good. The Pope, on the other hand, seemed a bit lost at several moments during this match up. The Pope took the turnbuckle pad off, and this match seemed to lose momentum when Joe was almost thrown into it. The Pope reversed a nice roll up into the Kakina Clutch and I was amazed! What a finisher.

Samoa Joe defeated The Pope

Post match, the Pope seemed impressed, but not hurt. Joe won the physical battle, but Pope is winning the psychological warfare.

Up Next, was the Knockouts match, and wow, what a waste. Mickie James botched several moves, and this thing was going terrible. The match was boring, and things were saved by Tara, she ran down and helped the flow of this match. Mickie James and Madison really made for a good overall second half the match, and I loved it, only because Madison took out a pair of Brass Knuckles and KNOCKED OUT Mickie James while the ref was distracted and won this knockouts match! The brass knucks get the mark out moment in this match up. I guess I'll pass it because I marked out huge, oh and I guess I called the match right huh?

Madison Rayne defeated Mickie James in a last woman standing match

Super Mex and Matt Morgan had a confrontation, and I hated it.

Matt Hardy cut a promo, it sucked. He is really trying to be Raven. It was weird.

Matt Hardy wasn't really good here, but he is losing weight gradually. He wasn't as bloated as I've seen him in previous years, and he put on an ok match. RVD did NOT put on a great match, and I think it's the caliber of opponent here. There were some nice spots to follow, including a unique submission move that I haven't seen in years. RVD would lose this one after a botched attempt by hardy to hit a Moonsault. The crowd was losing steam here, and that's when RVd would get the win with the Five Star Frog Splash.

RVD defeated Matt Hardy

This match wasn't really that good. Bully ray and Devon fought each other brawling all the way. The match really got interesting towards the end, with Bully Ray putting Devon in handcuffs to the ring post. His sons ran in and they got beat down. Yes, Devon's kids got beat up, one went through a table too, it was sad. I couldn't believe what I was watching. Bully Ray pinned one of Devon's sons...this was sad.

Bully ray defeated Devon

Kurt Angle and Jeff Jarrett put on a good match, although nothing comparible to many others. Karen Jarrett kept getting involved and would cost Angle. Kurt really did manage to put on a few good shots on Double J including suplex after suplex. Jarrett looked frustrated in this match at several points, including when Angle kicked out of the Stroke. The momentum shifted when the ref took a bump and Angle went to the outside to brawl with Double J. Jarrett introduced a chair and Angle couldn't use it, and this match got some steam again, and I was actually cheering for Kurt Angle! I wish Angle could get a shot at Taker, on a sidenote. Karen distracted Angle in the corner and after The Stroke was hit from the middle rope, this match seemed over, but nope! Kurt made Jarrett tap out at one point, but the ref was distracted! Jarrett was able to turn things around, and got Angle in a sick roll up! JARRETT WINS! JARRETT WINS!

Jeff Jarrett defeated Kurt Angle

Post match it just seemed sad as Angle genuinely looked sad, and he started crying and left his boots in the ring...signaling retirement.

There hasn't been a main event that has been so lame sounding, than this one. I tried to avoid spoilers, but I knew what would happen, and I was saddened to see this is the main event.

One of the worst Ladder matches I've ever seen happened here. There were some nice brawling points, but there was no drama, no real enthusiasm here, and Jeff hardy got the win, surprise surprise. What a lousy ending, I can't vouch for this, this sucked.

TNA Impact 1/27/11 Results

The sites that I usually utilize to get the TNA program DID NOT HAVE any updates this morning. So that means you get results instead of of a review. I hate when this happens, especially since i PAID for one of the sites, what a load of BS.

I guess if reviews stop on the site, I'll at least post Results.

Mickie James, Velvet Sky, and Angelina Love defeated Madison Rayne, Tara, and Sarita in six-woman elimination tag match when Love was the soul survivor

Max Buck defeated Amazing Red and Chris Sabin

Mr. Anderson defeated Matt Hardy

James Storm, Robert Roode, Kazarian, Rob Terry, Gunner, Murphy, and Jeff Jarrett defeated Kurt Angle and Crimson in a handicap match

TNA Impact 1/20/11 Results and Review

TNA Impact started with one of the best highlight videos they've ever created. The saga of Jeff Jarrett and Kurt Angle is a wonderful video full of great pro-wrestling writing, and if TNA could somehow make it pay off, that'd be great. However, I highly doubt they can, as they do not have a good track record of doing so.

The show opened up with Kurt Angle talking to some fat dude telling some random dude to play his music....oh man, terrible. We start the show with Kurt Angle coming to the ring....they better figure something out or else I'm going to sleep.

Eric Bischoffs music hit and out came a lot of police officers and they calmly escorted Kurt Angle out of the arena. Yep, what appeared to be real police, got Angle arrested.

QUite possibly the worst thing in women's professional wrestling is the TNA Knockouts division. It's seriouslly the worst thing I've ever seen. This match was terrible, Mickie James won with a roll up on Madison Rayne, and that was it. This match, I can not say enough about, in terms of how bad it was. Very little wrestling, very little to talk about, I can't believe this is part of the show, especially since in years past I've seen the women of TNA make some great matches last a long time, and great feuds make me think that there was hope in pro-wrestling.

Mickie James defeated Madison Rayne, Sarita, and some other chick, I forget.

Matt Morgan and Rob Terry squared off next and it was a short match with Rob Terry getting completely buried. Terry was once part of a good feud with Orlando Jordan, that was cut short and then never revisited. Morgan was just in the title match, and now? He's getting the win over Terry with relative ease. The Carbon Footprint hit Terry square in the head and this match was over. One of the worst matches I've seen on Impact in a long time.

Matt Morgan defeated Rob Terry

After them match the worst wrestlers in the world Abyss tried to beat up Morgan only to get dropped with a discus clothesline. Terry got up and he was hit with a sidewalk slam. I don't care, you don't care, Matt Morgan still sucks.

The X-Division title match was ok at best. I know that these two can put together a good overall match, but given the short time, this match wasn't all that great. There were some good spots, and Jay Lethal seemed to be out of sorts here. Kaz would get the win with, you guessed it, a roll up. I remember when the title meant something, now it's just a throwaway match in the middle of a boring show.

Kaz defeated Jay Lethal

Jarrett and Karen were in the ring and they prompted Kurt Angle to come to the ring, and Jarrett beat him up and that was that. I hope Angle gets some revenge...because this is getting tiring, and I guess that's the point.

Dreamer still has a job? Tommy Dreamer was looking tired, and hurt. Jeff Hardy easily steam rolled through Tommy and that was that. He hit his moves, and pinned the former ECW champion.

Jeff Hardy defeated Tommy Dreamer

Beer Money had an interesting match with RVD & Ken Anderson, and it wasn't terrible. It wasn't an amazing match, but it had some nice pacing, and given a good amount of time. The match really got interesting when Jeff Hardy tried to interfere, prompting Matt Hardy to run in and hit the Twist of Hate and join Immortal. Matt Hardy is fat. The match was over fast, and well, Beer Money wins again.

Beer Money defeated RVD & Ken Anderson

Bully Ray beat up Devon, and that was that.

Kurt Angle came to the ring and was beat up by Immortal. The end of the show was Kurt Angle getting completely killed, that was that. I don't know what's going on, but this is so stupid.

Abyss came out and he had Janice stuck to his back.

Out of the dust came out none other than, Grimson or something? He said "THEY'RE Coming" and that was that. What a terrible night of wrestling, what a terrible story line. They're coming? Again? Lame.

TNA Genesis 2011 Results and Review

I was fortunate enough to get this ppv, and well, I'm glad that I finally got to see it. I was really expecting big things based on the results I read.

TNA Genesis 2011 Results

Kazarian defeated Jay Lethal for the X-Division Title
Madison Rayne defeated Mickie James
Beer Money defeated The Motor City Machine Guns for the TNA Tag Team Titles
Bubba Ray defeated Devon by disqualification
Matt Hardy defeated RVD
Jeff Jarrett vs Kurt Angle

TNA Genesis 2011 Review

Kazarian defeated Jay Lethal

Despite many hours invested into Jay Lethal, he's still not that over as just himself. The crowd was dead for a good portion of this match, even when there were some moves. Kaz was more over than Lethal, which is really bad. The match was a good opener with lots of offense, and a surprising amount of high impact moves from Kaz on what appears to be a smaller lethal. Lethal wen to the top rope, and finally got the crowd behind him, but took too much time and Kaz took advantage. There was a ref bump, and Kaz hit the reverse Tombstone Piledriver and won the gold! That's right, Kaz is the new Cruiserweight Champion of the world.

Madison Rayne defeated Mickie James

There was a good amount of wrestling here, but it's painfully obvious that the division lacks skilled workers. Mickie James did manage some good overall offense, but it just wasn't as entertaining as what I was loving in the Knockout's division a few years ago, and many readers will agree. Tara ran down to help, and Madison Rayne was given a loaded glove, and she won the match with a knockout blow. Yep. I liked the finish, even if it took a while to get there.

Beer Money defeated The Motor City Machine Guns for the TNA Tag Team Titles

I've seen this match so many times, that this time around it just seemed like another match, and for the most part it was. This was just a clone of the many matches that these two teams have had in the past. There were some nice spots, but it was painfully obvious that Beer Money was going over. After some misfires the Machine Guns made a mistake in the corner, and were rolled up. I didn't like the finish of this match, but it had some nice team work and good overall wrestling. I really miss tag team wrestling of this nature in the WWE, because it's done so well. RObert Roode is ready for the WWE if you ask me, I hope he gets there someday. This match was not a five star classic, but it was a highlight for me up to this point.

Bubba Ray defeated Devon by disqualification

This match wasn't that good. Devon was far over with the crowd, and there were some good moments here, even if the majority of the match seemed taxing for both men. At one point Bubba hit a nice Cutter on Devon who was diving off the top rope, even though no one cared. There were some nice near falls, and good final moments, but like I said, getting there was very hard to manage, and didn't really have me excited at all. Devon lost after using a chain on Bubba. Yep, Dq finish.

Abyss defeated Douglas Williams

One of the worst matches ever. Ok, not that bad. Doug Williams put up a good fight against my least favorite wrestler. I hate AByss and giving him a title is so stupid. Williams had to face the monster because Aj Styles is injured, so it was nice to see, but it just seemed thrown together and boring.

Oh well.

Bischoff said that RVD will get Hardy, and it was Matt Hardy! I guess Matt is a heel too? I don't know, but Matt is in TNA!

Matt Hardy is still fat.

Matt Hardy defeated RVD

This match had some nice fast paced action, but it seemed like Matt Hardy slowed it down at some points to let RVD catch his breath. It's not a surprise that RVD can't go full speed since he's smoking weed to this day. Hardy did manage to throw in some good new offense, even if most of his offense seemed older. Hardy took some major hits to the head and body by RVD and it was interesting to see the back and forth motions in this match up. After some good overall back and forth action, Hardy won...and that was that. It's going to take a while for me to enjoy Matt Hardy in TNA.

Matt Hardy is still fat.

Jeff Jarrett vs Kurt Angle

I feel like I've seen this before, and it was stupid. Jarrett bloodied Angle and the ref through the match out. Jarrett wins and is still the monster heel...this was stupid. The Tna idiots put the camera right on Angle as he was blading...so stupid.

Ken Anderson defeated Matt Morgan

There was a lot of great pieces to this match up. I liked how Anderson kept literally throwing offense at Morgan, and like a large tree, Morgan wouldn't go down with average moves. There were some nice spots here, but nothing too crazy. It was painfully obviou that Morgan wasn't going over, and after Anderson rolled up Morgan for the quick pin, out came Eric Bischoff.

He demanded that Anderson fight Hardy for the title.

Ken Anderson defeated Jeff Hardy

This match was ok. Jeff didn't look 100%. Jeff was fighting Hardy with ease, and it appeared that he was going to cheat, but out came Mick Foley to stop it. That prompted Ric Flair to come down, but he was held at bay by security. Hardy went for the top rope, but Anderson managed to stop his progress. Anderson was going for a super plex, but missed and Hardy hit a nice swanton. Anderson kicked out, and this match continued! I wasn't marking out, because it seemed so obvious (i guess because of the spoilers). The crowd was way over with Anderson getting huge cheers. Anderson hit the rolling finisher spot, but Hardy got up fast and started fighting back. Jeff called out his brother Matt to interfere, but RVD ran down to stop that, and they brawled all the way to the back.

Eric Bischoff came into the ring with a chair, and was ready to lay out Anderson, but was attacked! The Mic Check was hit on Bischoff! Jeff was able to run back but was hit with the MIC CHECK! Anderson wins the world title!

Your new TNA world champion is MR. ANDERSON!

That was a good thing for everyone, and hopefully Anderson will be doing well as the champion. I like the ending.

TNA Impact 10/21/10 Results and Review

TNA Impact 10/21/10 Results

Robbie E defeated Amazing Red
Aj Styles defeated The Pope in a street fight
Beer Money defeated RVD & Sabu
Mickie James defeated Sarita
Kazarian defeated Ken Anderson in an Ultimate X Match

TNA Impact 10/21/10 Review

The show starts with a recap, and the recap is FAR better than the actual show from last week. It's actually intriguing, not having to watch the whole thing unfold for an hour or so with NO wrestling.

Ken Anderson got in ring and talked about how he wants to get Hardy back and another title shot, but RVD came out to talk about how HE deserves the title shot, since he never lost. Then on the screen came Jeff Hardy with an apology...a "raven" style apology.

Eric Bischoff then came out on the mic to talk. He said to tune into reaction...I doubt anyone is watching that show. I know I'm not.

He set up some matches...and I was already trying to poke my own eye out.

Robbie E defeated Amazing Red

This was a very short, very dull moving match. Amazing Red isn't half bad, and Robbie E took a lot of shots before hitting a Diamond Cutter. NO it's NOT the RKO, Robbie E does it like DDP, and it looked nice.

The fans were all chanting "boring". I didn't hate it, I think Robbie has skills, he'll just need other opponents. I'm going to go on a limb and say that Robbie E reminds me of The Model Ric Martel...there I said it. He'll need more in ring and promo work to match the Model though.

The pope cut a promo from a strip club.

After a lot of random backstage crap and "Winter" debuting, it came time for a Street Fight for the Television Championship!

I'm a fan of good street fights, that being said, it's been a LONG time since I've seen a good street fight. I'd say, not since the late 90's have I seen a quality pro-wrestling street fight.

Aj Styles defeated The Pope in a street fight

The match started on the ramp and then quickly got into the ring, and instead of offsetting moves, the two were literally exchanging right's and left's for a good part of the match. The match was looking to turn into a wrestling match when Abyss ran in and beat up The Pope. The rules stated that Fortune couldn't interfere, and I guess Abyss is NOT a member of Fortune?!? Whatever. Abyss hit the Black Hole Slam and then Aj Styles pinned The Pope and this was over. Not a great match, but I didn't hate the way it turned out, it's sketchy, but I'll take whatever wrestling I can get at this point.

Backstage The Pope got in Samoa Joe's face and Joe said to get out of his face...and Joe said he has "no ones" back.

And now, WHO KIDNAPPED SAMOA JOE!!?!?!!!

Generation Me and The Machine Guns had a little altercation in the parking lot.

Double J cut a promo about how he's awesome and what not...ugh...

Samoa Joe came out to confront Double J and the two brawled, with help from TNA security. They then handcuffed Samoa Joe!!!! Joe tried to fight back but it was 3 on 1, and Joe was getting beat down like crazy! Woo! Joe is a chump, face it! I kind of like Double J's shirt, with the skulls and the guitar, not bad.

Mike Tenay started going nuts on the announce table, as Taz listened in, and that was that. Tenay looked seriously pissed.

Beer Money defeated RVD & Sabu

This match was a train wreck, it was seriously bad. Despite all that, the closing moments weren't half bad. Sabu threw a chair and it hit RVD in the head, and they lost to Beer Money.

Post match, RVD and Sabu started to brawl, and EV2.0 ran out to stop them.

Mickie James defeated Sarita

Sarita and Mickie James actually had a wrestling match. Yep, a real wrestling match, something that hasn't been seen in a long time with TNA. The match started relatively awkwardly and took a little while to get going, but once it got going, it wasn't half bad. The win came after one of the worst kicks I've ever seen.

Post match, Tara ran in and beat up Mickie James.

Kazarian defeated Ken Anderson in an Ultimate X Match

Anderson was beat up in the backstage area, and was then fed to Kazarian. Anderson had his shoulder taped up, and ran in and tried to give some offense, but like the old saying goes, what good is a "one armed man, in a butt kicking contest?" and that was the theme of this match up. Kazarian wasn't having the easiest time, but it just looked like he was going to win with relative ease against a one handed Anderson. Anderson at one point caught Kazarian coming off the X wire and right into the MIC Check, which was quite good! Anderson reached under the ring and found a ladder! Anderson was on top of the ladder and ready to get the X when Fortune ran down and hit Anderson with a nice sit out Powerbomb from Matt Morgan. Kaz was then just lifted to the top of the X and he won the match! Matt Morgan is a legit 7 feet tall, wow...he is huge. Kazarian wins with help. I actually liked this match, it was more than watchable, and light years ahead of a lot of TNA's previous efforts.

Post match, Anderson got a pipe and cleared the ring, but out ran Jeff Hardy and hit Anderson with a very hard chair shot to the back of the head. It looked bad...and Anderson was busted open in the back of the head! I've never really seen a blade job to the back of the head, but it was odd. Hardy then put Anderson's arm inside the ladder and hit it with the chair! Anderson's essentially dead here.

I loved the ending of TNA, and dare I say, it's the best show in wrestling thanks to that awesome ending, and the culmination of the main event. I liked it, wow....Anderson looks legit' hurt. Hardy then argued with the fans, and that was awesome too. Wow...I actually liked TNA Impact...it's a rarity folks, a real rarity.

The end of the show featured Ric Flair and Eric Bischoff in the back of an SUV and Kurt Angle showing up and breaking the back windshield open! Angle then ran away....wow...not bad.

TNA Impact 10/14/10 Results and Review

TNA Impact 10/14/10 Results

Madison Rayne defeated Tara for the knockouts title
Fortune defeated The Pope
Samoa Joe defeated Abyss via dq
RVD vs Ken Anderson (no contest)

TNA Impact 10/14/10 Review

TNA tried to pull a WCW 1996 on the ppv, and you know what? It was one of the biggest lackluster things in a long time, and NO i'm not just jaded on wrestling, it's agreed upon across a lot of podcasts, and wrestling websites.

Abyss, Hogan, Double J and Jarrett all cut promos to start the show off.

They kept talking, but out came Fortune. Flair started to cut a promo about how Fortune is running things.

Flair and Hogan were set to square off, and instead of fighting they hugged! Yep. Fortune is now part of "THEY" too. Wow...so stupid.

OUt came Jeff Hardy, the champ....mind you this is 20 minutes into the show, and no wrestling. Hardy cut a promo, and he didn't have a lot of paint on or anything.

Out came Sting and Kevin Nash.

Kevin Nash got on the mic and cut a "nice guy" promo and said that this time he's NOT going to join "THEY" and just walk away.

Sting got on the mic, and he cut a "nice guy" promo too. Sting walked away too. They just left.

Bischoff got on the mic and said that Sting and Nash would be at home getting FAT, and that's that. 30 minutes of the show was dedicated to "THEY" going off. I remember this same angle 10 years back or so....called the NEW WORLD ORDER. Yep.

Backstage Dixie was asking Sting & Nash to stay, but they walked out. Hogan and Bischoff then confronted Dixie and she slapped the crap out of Bischoff!!!! Wow...backstage...Dixie gave her best performance, and Hogan totally talked her down! Wow. Compelling? Not really, but eh, whatever, I'll take what I can get.

Dixie was thrown out of Hogan's office, and Serj (Dixie's husband) got knocked the EFF out! Hahah. 35 minutes into the show, still no wrestling.

Madison Rayne defeated Tara for the knockouts title

In a "finger poke" of doom match, Tara gave up the belt. Tara laid down for Madison Rayne.

Dare I say, 40 minutes into the show and still NO wrestling.

Mickie James came out and challenged Madison...yawns ensued.

45 minutes and no wrestling.

Kurt Angle came down and cut a promo.

Kurt Angle then got beat down by Double J after he came out and cut a promo on Angle. Angle was handcuffed and beaten and battered, and that was that. Tazz came off the booth and helped Angle, and that was that. Angle's done...Double J has a ruthless streak? That's that...bye bye Angle...I hope he goes to WWE and feuds with the All American, American, American, American, American.

52 minutes and NO wrestling.

We get to see Samoa Joe walking around some beach. He cut a promo on Double J.

So 50+ minutes before we finally get a wrestling match, if you can call it that.

Samoa Joe defeated Abyss via dq

This wasn't much of a match, it was just Abyss dominating Samoa Joe for the most part. Joe did manage an insane move by diving through the middle ropes and taking out Abyss, but other than that, it was just Abyss beating up Samoa Joe. Joe won via dq, and that prompted RVD to come out. Abyss then beat up JOe. But RVD saved the day...kind of.

Ugh...what a terrible night of wrestling.

RVD cut a promo on Hardy. Ugh....

Fortune defeated The Pope

The Pope fought all of Fortune. It's interesting to me that Fortune cheated to win, 5 on 1. Whatever. The Pope got buried, and that's that. I didn't hate the match, and I'm ok with a 5 on 1 beat down, I just wish there was more wrestling on the show.

The Shore had a promo with some chick from the real show...nothing I remembered happened there.

RVD vs Ken Anderson (no contest)

Anderson and RVD put on an ok match for tv. There were some nice reversals from Anderson, but the crowd wasn't at all into this match up. RVD looked winded after 5 or so minutes, and that's just sad. Anderson carried most of the match, even countering the Five Star Frog Splash and Rolling THunder, but it was painfully obvious that this match wasn't going to get a finish...yet again.

Bischoff came down, pulled the ref, and out ran Jeff Hardy. Hardy beat up Anderson and RVD with a chair. Yep. That'sit.

The last moment was awesome.

Hardy hit a Twist of Fate on RVD onto a chair that had Anderson's arm in it. SICK finisher!

TNA is terrible, the non finish matches, the 1 hour of setting up the second half of the show...NO x-division match, no tv title match, no tag team titles match...geez...why even have a wrestling show?

Oh and WHO KIDNAPPED SAMOA JOE??!?!?!?

TNA Bound For Glory 2010 Results

The Motor City Machine Guns defeated Generation ME
Tara won a four way match to win the Knockouts Championship
Ink Inc defeated Orlando Jordan and Erik Young
Jay Lethal defeated Douglas WIlliams
Rob Van Dam defeated Abyss in a Monster's Ball Match
Kevin Nash, Sting & The Pope defeated Samoa Joe & Jeff Jarrett
Jeff Hardy defeated Kurt Angle and Ken Anderson to win the TNA Title

TNA Bound For Glory 2010 Review

I'm late on this review because I was busy trying to get a job all weekend. So far, no good. 13 months, jobless...I don't like blaming the recession, but this is getting ridiculous.

The Motor City Machine Guns defeated Generation ME

The opener featured two teams that had been itching to face each other for quite sometimes. This match had high-spot after high-spot, and it just kept going. Generation Me kept hitting some tandem movies, and nothing was more amazing than Jeremy's 450 splash off the top with his brother holding one of the Machine Guns, it was insane. My only complaint about these high spots is that they never seem to have any major effect on anyone. That's my only complaint, because other than that, this match was just a fast paced, no psychology type match that featured so much tandem action, that it didn't even need a referee, because no one was tagging in and out at times. The Motor City Machine Guns win this one, and what a 20 minute match up, it had every spot you could possibly have in a cruiserweight match, and it really got the crowd going nuts. I don't like spot fests, but they are sure entertaining, that's for sure. There's just no reason to have so much action and have little to no payoffs...it's just stupid. It was entertaining, don't get me wrong, it's just not very "cerebral" I guess....not a 4 star classic, but not a terrible match.

Tara won a four way match to win the Knockouts Championship

One of the worst matches in women's wrestling history was this four way. It was seriously the worst match I've ever seen. The best part was after the match when Mickie James clobbered Madison Rayne.

The Knockouts are the WORST wrestlers in history, this match sucked beyond compare, seriously, the worst, I can't believe this piece of crap match.

Erik Young is an idiot...I hope he gets fired.

Ink Inc defeated Orlando Jordan and Erik Young

Erik Young cost his team the match when he got in and beat up Orlando Jordan. This was a comedic match with NO real purpose other than to be stupid. This was the dumbest match I've seen in a long time, worst than the Knockouts! This is just stupid, and I"m sick of this terrible booking.

Jay Lethal defeated Douglas WIlliams

Even though lots of time was spent on Jay Lethal, no one cares about him nor Williams in a match. It was stupid to say the least. Sure there were some nice moments, and Lethal can wrestle, but NO ONE CARES about this because it's never on tv and it's never really pushed. TNA has things so backwards, that by the time Lethal won this match, I was ready for a coffee break. I'm sick of this lousy booking, and random matches...Lethal can go, I'll give him credit, but I just didn't care for this match because I didn't see it coming at all, and I review TNA Impact every week, so it shouldn't surprise me should it?

SHORE beat up Jay Lethal. He wants the X-Division TItle. I'll take it...Shore isn't half bad. THis could be the best villain that TNA has created in a long time.

Rob Van Dam defeated Abyss in a Monster's Ball Match

The worst Monster's Ball match I've ever seen. This is the worst Van Dam match I've seen, and I've seen RVD put on some stinkers. Not only did this match suck, it didn't have nearly the impact that you would expect from these matches. Abyss eventually turned into an idiot, and lost. I don't know what to tell you guys about this one. It was just a stupid hardcore match that didn't even go anywhere. There were a few broken boards or something, but seriously? This was the poorest excuse for a hardcore match I've ever seen...seriously, worst hardcore match ever. I said it.

Who Kidnapped Samoa Joe? If Van Dam nearly died, why does he win so easily? Ugh...what a boring ass match. RVD and Abyss put on a terd of a match, sorry.

Kevin Nash, Sting & The Pope defeated Samoa Joe & Jeff Jarrett

Samoa Joe worked on three guys and managed to hold his own for the most part. He was basically winning at all points of this match up, and it was interesting to see Joe having to fight for his life. He was going to get the hot tag, getting Double J into this thing, but Double J left him. He then got beat down by three men, and yet there was no dq? Yeah. Samoa JOe got killed by the three monsters, and fromw hat I hear, Nash is done with TNA.

The match was stupid. Joe was left out cold in the middle of the ring. I'm so tired of lame booking. Terrible terrible match.

EV2.0 defeated Fortune in a Lethal Lockdown Match

This match was insane. It was terribly booked, it was crowded, it was stupid. There was blood, there were high spots, broken tables, fighting on the top of the cage, inside the cage, and on the floor. It was like a Bunkhouse Stampede match, only it was terrible. It was slow moving, and just didn't really do much for me.

Did I mention I still don't know who "THEY" are, and I still don't know what the big surprise for TNA was, or what would change things? This thing was stupid, to say the least. This ppv up to this point was just terrible, seriously, it was just terrible, so much wasted hype.

Jeff Hardy defeated Kurt Angle and Ken Anderson to win the TNA Title

The main event is what you'd expect from TNA. The three men really went toe to toe with each other, and there were a lot of close calls, tandem moves, and even triple moves at some points. I thought Hardy had this thing sewn up several times, and Angle looked to have won this match at several stages too, but for whatever reasons, it just wasn't meant to be for each man. Eventually, the match broke down and it was just Angle and ANderson left in ring, and after the REF took a major bump, this thing looked to be doing terrible.

Bischoff ran down to the ring with a steel chair and was going to knock someone out, but out came Hogan with crutches! Then Hogan and Bischoff were going to fight, but Hardy turned and hit Angle! Hardy turns HEEL! HOgan and Bischoff were supposed to be in on it too? Hardy hits ANderson too. Hardy then pins ANderson and wins the match. Yep. Hardy turns heel, Bischoff and Hogan turn heel too, and we have a new champion.

Screw job finish. No major surprise.

FIRE ALL TNA WRITERS, FIRE RUSSO, ugh...why do I still watch wrestling? I wish I had a life or a job...something...anything.

Double J and Abyss come down and I guess this is they? I'm sick of this bs...ugh...what a terrible night of wrestling. If you paid for this, ask for your money back, this was stupid. STUPID. UGH. I'm so sick of wrestling....of this stupidity. TNA sucks so bad!

RVD ran down and of course he got a beat down. Worst TNA ppv ever!?!?! Yeah...pretty close.

What about the ranking system?

Who kidnapped Joe?

Nash is done with TNA?

Angle didn't win, so he's retiring?

I'm done folks...ugh...what a terrible ppv.

TNA Impact 10/7/10 Results and Review

TNA Impact 10/7/10 Results

Angelina Love & Velvet Sky defeated Tara & Madison Rayne
Mick Foley defeated Ric Flair in a hardcore match
Orlando Jordan & Erik Young defeated Ink Inc
Kurt Angle wins a battle royal (on reaction, not impact)

TNA Impact 10/7/10 Review

The show this week opened up fast with Dixie being yelled at by Abyss. This was a very awkward opening, that looked like Abyss was going to rape Dixie Carter....this was just very awkward.

This was a live show....I guess.

Sting came out with Kevin Nash and the Pope. The Pope cut a promo, and then out came Jarrett and Joe and blah blah blah.....Eric Bischoff set up a match for Bound for Glory. Look for Samoa Joe to turn on Double J...

Mickie James showed up at TNA! I didn't mark out, that's for sure.

Angelina Love & Velvet Sky defeated Tara & Madison Rayne

This match was for the name "The Beautiful People", and it was one of the worst matches I've ever seen. This is a travesty, considering that a few years back TNA had one of the best women's divisions I've ever seen. Angelina Love wins.

Ms. Testmaker or whatever....was talking about Bound for Glory and how there will be a 4 way dance for the Women's Title. The special guest referee for that match is none other than Mickie James! Yep. Mickie James has come to TNA...wow...she's looking good, but it's sad that she won't have much competition.

Mick Foley defeated Ric Flair

This match was sad. Seriously, I was just sad to see this BS. Foley, way past his prime, Flair way past his time, in a hardcore match? There were some sick bumps, and both men were bleeding like crazy, which was sick. I'm all for these guys in their prime, but this was NOT 2 men in the prime of their careers, this was two old men fighting in a battle for nothing. This was not a pretty sight, it was NOT a wrestling match as much as it was a complete and terrible brawl of sorts. The kid inside me was going nuts, but the adult, was just shaking his head. I am NOT a fan of seeing these guys kill each other, it just doesn't mean anything, especially with so many others on the roster that could be utilized here. Flair lost via 10 count? I don't know, this was stupid...this was completely stupid.

Orlando Jordan and Erik Young cut a weird promo...their a team now? I haven't seen them since Young threw a mannequin into the ring.

There's not enough coffee in the world to wake me up for this piece of garbage....

Orlando Jordan & Erik Young defeated Ink Inc

This match sucked. This match was just stupid. Erik Young was doing everything to ruin the match, he was stopping Orlando Jordan from cheating. This match sucked...Erik Young sucks. Orlando sucks....ugh...nevermind. Worst tag team match ever.

Wow...what a terrible idea....Shore aka Robbie E debuts...I can't believe this bs....this is seriously the worst idea in pro-wrestling.

There was a Battle Royal that resembled the Royal Rumble at the end of this impact, and it ran over time. It was STUPID! I do NOT watch reaction, and well....that was that. WHo won?

Um...let me see here...Moe. Moe wins.

I hate TNA.
