TNA Impact 5/13/10 Review

The show opened up with Eric Bischoff in ring, talking about the poll and what the fans want. However, they forget to mention that Desmond Wolfe has 80% of the votes. Oh well.

Bischoff claimed that Jeff Hardy was nowhere to be found, and that RVD had the night off. The prompted Aj Styles to come in and interrupt.

Jeff Hardy eventually came out and talked trash, setting up a triple threat match for the end.

Tara defeated Taylor Wilde

Tara beat up Taylor Wilde in this match, and won very short, not really competitive match up. It was stupid to me, I didn’t like it at all. The knockouts division has really gone downhill.

Backstage it looked bad for Chelsea, as a ton of security was hovering over her, crying. Meanwhile Desmond Wolfe was trying to throw the camera crew out.

Brian Kendrick defeated Douglas Williams

This match sucked, it was short. Kazarian wanted to get his belt back, but nope, it just served to distract Williams, and as a result, was rolled up in a short, and boring match.

Matt Morgan vs Generation Me

This match was basically Matt Morgan steam rolling through Generation Me. I’m not sure who won, but it wasn’t Generation Me.

Samoa Joe came down and beat up Morgan, including a sick Muscle Buster.

Post match, out came Kevin Nash and The Band, and they cashed in their Fest or Fired Briefcase, winning the World Tag team titles off of Matt Morgan.

That’s the end of the title run.

Ink Inc defeated Team 3D, Beer Money, and The Motor City Machine Guns

This four way match was fast, and full of spots, with no real psychology to speak of. This match wasn’t all that great, but it did feature some good action. Shannon Moore got beat and was bleeding in his ear, probably from wearing ear rings while wrestling. Ink Inc won, but will not get the titles this weekend, I’m sure.

Big Rob was ready to defend his title against Abyss, but backstage, Abyss was being arrested. He then was about to get jumped by Desmond Wolfe, but police stopped him. Apparently Abyss assaulted Chelsea?

Hogan was backstage trying to help out, but it didn’t help.

Orlando Jordan ran into the ring and hit Big Rob with a low blow, and left his hand there…in a very awkward and “gay” nature. Orlando then hit Rob with a lead pipe, and left a “Wild Card”.

Orlando Jordan defeated Tyson Tomko

This match was awkward to say the least. Tomko is fat. Orlando won with a guillotine choke hold. Jordan hit a back stabber, which was weird, and well…Jordan is most likely going to win on Sunday.

Tara defeated Sarita

This match sucked, and was a disgrace man. I’m so sick of the Knockouts. They used to be so good, and now? They aren’t as good. Tara won by hitting Sarita with her knee brace, and that was that.

Aj Styles defeated Jeff Hardy, and Rob Van Dam

This match was interesting to say the least. Not so much because the match was that good, but because we got to see the top 3 guys in TNA. All in all, it had its moments, nothing too extreme. Rob Van Dam got hit with a ddt on the outside, and Anderson came in and interfered. Aj Styles utilized the ropes for leverage to win this match up.

Post match, Hardy called out Anderson, but Anderson didn’t oblige.

However, out came Hulk Hogan came out, and forced Anderson to get back into the ring. Hardy fought off Anderson on the floor, and the two brawled. Hardy jumped off the broadcast table through Anderson, through a table, for no apparent reason.

This week of Impact sucked. It made no sense at times, and the actual wrestling was not that great. I didn’t like it. I’m tired, dead tired of TNA Wrestling.
