WWE 205 Live August 28, 2018 Results and Review Still Good Wrestling

Akira Tozawa vs The Brian Kendrick - 205 Live Source WWE
Akira Tozawa defeated The Brian Kendrick

A slow moving match that was a little boring to me. Tozawa would get the win, but I feel like we’ve seen this match many times before.

Hideo Itami vs. Michael Haize

Well, Itami was winning this match but out came Mustafa Ali after Itami was peaking up Haize for the whole match. However, he ran away, and the match was thrown out I guess.

Buddy Murphy defeated Kalisto

Here we go, one hell of a main event. This was a back and forth war, and both wrestlers threw everything that they had at one another. Murphy impresses here, with some killer reversals to Kalisto’s offense. The extra characters were thrown out of ringside, and wow, the framework here was nothing short of impressive with a lot of fighting back and forth, with lots of frenetic movements, and stellar moves. From high spots to hard hits, and more, you found that everything in this match made sense, and worked well. Murphy would get the final laugh, though, and boom, won this match.

As far as shows are concerned, 205 Live wins this week’s best main roster showcases, because of the final match. Great match with Murphy and Kalisto, and Murphy’s law that got the big win here. He’s destined to get a title shot sooner than later.

WWE 205 Live August 21, 2018 Results and Review A ReHash Again

Lucha House Party Flies - Source WWE
We start with straight forward wrestling.

Noam Dar defeated TJP

This was a good opener, with a good amount of back and forth. Noam Dar was able to get the big win after isolating TJP’s legs, and offense that was countered here and there, only to get the big win after some time. It was a good match, with Noam Dar showing off a leaner build, and a faster counter attack. TJP loses again, and well, he’s not doing so hot since he lost that title.

Akira Tozawa defeated Colin Delaney

Hey, Colin is back! Only to get jobbed out again, sad. The match didn’t get started, Gulak and his goons stopped it.

The Lucha House Party defeated Buddy Murphy and Tony Nese

One hell of a match, with a lot of high flying elements, and a great deal of back and forth, but what ended up happening was a win from the Lucha Guys again. I just wished that we got new people wrestling, I feel like I’ve seen these guys wrestle a million times. Anyways, good fun, no complaints, another good showcase from 205 Live, only 49 minutes out of the hour, so I guess that’s a complaint. Good stuff, watch this. Main event.

WWE 205 Live August 14, 2018 Results and Review

The WWE starts 205 Live, often, with wrestling and this was no doubt a good example.

Lio Rush defeated Akira Tozawa

This was a fast paced match, with few stops, and the two were fighting back and forth in every way. From the top rope, to the bottom rope, to flying around, to submission moves, the two put each other through some great back and forth. However, it was the end of Tozawa when Rush was able to hit the incredible frog splash. He gets an incredible amount of height on that thing, and Tozawa legit had the wind knocked out of him. Rush is the real deal.

Hideo Itami defeated A Jobber

This was a job match, and Itami won, and he kept saying that people should respect him.

Cedric Alexander defeated Jack Gallagher

This was a worthy main event for any show. Gallagher put in a lot of work here, and was able to take Alexander to a limit for sure. However, it was Alexander’s constant fight that turned upside down, and caused serious problems for Gallagher in the end. Jack went into a standing Spanish fly and boom, Gallagher went out cold.

Of course, Gulak and Kendrick would run down and cause a disruption, and that was the end of the show. A good overall night of wrestling, that’s for sure.

WWE 205 Live June 26, 2018 Results and Review The C Show Or Something

Gulak Gets The Last Laugh - SRC WWE
205 Live throws the same things at you all the time, and here we go again.

Akira Tozawa defeated Tony Nese

I think Tony Nese is one hell of a wrestler, and yet he doesn’t get too many wins. Akira Tozawa gets through a lot of offense here, but it wasn’t without Nese throwing down either. The two went back and forth going through a lot of different arenas of pushes and got through a great deal of fighting to get to the end. Tozawa would get the win with his finisher, and that was that. Nese was not a slouch here, it was hard hitting.

Lio Rush defeated a Jobber

There wasn’t much to this. Lio Rush won a jobber match, which means there aren’t that many competitors in 205 live? Lame.

Drew Gulak, Jack Gallagher, and The Brian Kendrick defeated The Lucha House Party in an elimination style tag team match

As far as 205 Live is concerned, I feel like I’ve seen these guys wrestle one hundred times already, and that isn’t a good thing. I’m so tired of seeing these guys wrestle, and it’s usually to a similar conclusion. This time around, it was another entertaining match, but I’ve already seen everything that these guys can do against each other, so it bored me for the most part. At the end of the day, the match was won by Drew Gulak and his finisher, and then he killed the piƱata in his honor. That was that.

205 Live is now officially the C show for me. Enzo at least brought some great entertainment to this, and this is just boring. No TJP this week, no other players, just boredom if you ask me. Not a great show if you watch this every week, but if you don’t watch it often, it was definitely a good one to watch.

WWE 205 Live May 1, 2018 Results and Review More of The Same Stuff

Gulak's Mean Streak - SRC WWE
I’m not sure if WWE 205 Live will ever turn a corner to be honest. I just don’t think that they are going to be story line driven in the same way as the other shows. I at least liked the Zo Train and all that came with it, because there was talking, and there was attitude. This show was just action, and little talking and while I usually hate that type of stuff, this definitely needs more entertainment value. If you’re just going to have matches, then there should be a few more, and more than just the same 6 or 7 characters. You can’t tell me that there aren’t enough cruiserweights out there, but alas, we get what we get.

WWE 205 Live May 1, 2018 Results and Review

There were only 3 matches found on this night of wrestling, mind you, and they weren’t all great.

The Brian Kendrick and Gentleman Jack Gallagher defeated Hideo Itami and Akira Tozawa

This was a fast match with a lot of frustration from the Asian talent. Even though the Asian crew was able to get the upper hand at times, they made a few mistakes, and that was when Kendrick and Gallagher pounced, getting the win. Itami got mad at Tozawa and pushed him, which means that they will most likely wrestle against one another? I guess.

Buddy Murphy defeated Jobber

Yep.

Drew Gulak defeated Kalisto

This wasn’t too bad, but finally Drew Gulak gets a win with his mean streak. Kalisto did well to try and defend himself again Gulak’s offense, but in the end, one mistake and Gulak made Kalisto go to sleep and that was that. Gulak is such a good competitor, it’s a shame that he doesn’t get more chances at the title.

This was a lackluster show and it was only like 45 minutes long. Meh.

WWE 205 Live April 17, 2018 Results and Review The Weight Problem

Stereo Dives - Source WWE
205 Live is a bastard child of the WWE at this point, and while this show was good, it doesn’t get nearly the same promotional consideration that the other shows get. That’s sad, considering the talent that comes through this brand.

WWE 205 Live April 17, 2018 Results and Review

Mustafa Ali defeated Ariya Daivari

I thought for sure Ariya Daivari had Mustafa Ali’s number here, but nope, Ali wins again. The match was stellar, but I can’t stand how they book Ali sometimes. He should be selling from Wrestlemania’s loss, and should be slightly distracted, and shouldn’t kick out of Daivari’s finisher. But then again, Daivari must be learning or something because Ali got the win, even if it was logical. The 054 splash hit and Ali gets another hard fought victory. I miss the ZO Train.

Buddy Murphy Doesn’t Make Weight

Buddy Murphy was 2 pounds over, who gives a crap!?! So now we get a gauntlet match for next week’s show. Ok.

Jack Gallagher and The Brian Kendrick defeated Jobbers

There wasn’t much to this, it was just jobbers getting beat up.

Lince Dorado and Gran Metalik defeated Akira Tozawa and Hideo Itami in a Tornado Tag Team Match

I haven’t seen one of these in a while and it didn’t disappoint. The match was back and forth, with lots of action, lots of high flying, and counters. The lucha guys were able to get a win with some killer moves from the top to end it all, but it was a fast paced, flurried match with a lot to offer critics. I found it fund, and was loving every minute. A great way to end 205 Live that’s for sure.

Buddy Murphy Keeping Ali Quiet - SRC WWE dot com
205 Live once again showcased how good it can be. In just an hour, you’re going to find that the wrestling on this show is nothing short of spectacular. This is a fascinating little show, and if you’re not watching, you need to check it out.

WWE 205 Live Results and Review

Drew Gulak defeated Mark Andrews

This was a fight, a real fight. Andrews was able to turn things up with his high flying, but Gulak was fighting hardcore. He fought through a lot of Gulak’s technical tactics, but would eventually miss a high spot and then get thrown into a hard dragon sleeper for the win. Gulak, before the match cut a “Power Point” presentation name drop and I was marking out huge. This was good, and that’s that. Great match.

Hideo Itami and Akira Tozawa defeated Two Jobbers

The WWE site has put the names of these two jobbers, but I didn’t want to type it out. Itami and Tozawa are fluid in the ring and I was surprised to see how well they worked together. They put the jobbers through some nice moments, and at this point, I see them getting the belts if the rumored tag team match is true.

Mustafa Ali defeated Buddy Murphy

This was one hell of a match. Ali did his usual spots, but Buddy Murphy was one step ahead for the majority of the match. Go and watch this and see two performers that were evenly matched with one just faster than the other. Murphy was just so good against Ali, and it brought the best out of Ali throughout. At the end of the match, it was Murphy that would lose because he had a shoulder issue that Ali kept going back to. I was impressed with the counters during this match, and honestly, you can’t sleep on this, it was that good. An incredible show ender, and I would go back and see it again.

That’s the end of 205 Live, and great stuff. Next week we will have Roderick Strong and Cedric Alexander will throw down for an incredible showcase as well.

WWE 205 Live February 13, 2018 Results and Review HHH Takes Over

Gulak Throwing Down Some Great Moves - SRC wwe dot com
From what all the news sites have stated this past few weeks, you’ll find that HHH has taken over the show of 205 Live. He’s changing things up and letting more wrestling go on. It has shown, and we are going to be talking about this week’s show.

WWE 205 Live February 13, 2018 Results and Review

Mark Andrews defeated Akira Tozawa

Another round in the tournament went forward and Mark Andrews impressed me. He was flying through the air, and hitting Tozawa with just about everything. The ending was great, with Tozawa getting his finisher on Andrews, only to get rolled up and not let go of the submission and he ended up losing.

Drew Gulak defeated Tony Nese

Wow, this was insane. Gulak threw down technical wrestling, with Tony Nese getting some great offense, but not enough to stop Gulak’s constant onslaught. He would eventually put Nese into his finishing submission, and would get him to go to sleep. What a fight this was, and Gulak is not just another job guy, he’s the real deal.

The 205 Live Show has gotten way better since Enzo Amore has left, and that’s kind of sad. I liked the entertainment value of Enzo Amore, and the Zo train, but alas, that’s the end of that. Great show, go back and see this.

WWE 205 Live November 21, 2017 Results and Review The Zo train

The Enzo Dance Crew - SOURCE WWE DOT COM
Everyone should get on board the ZO train, because it’s the number one thing on the WWE 205 Live brand right now. These guys are the cruiserweights of the WWE, and it shows in a lot of ways. The night only had 3 matches, but they did some good stuff, so let’s talk about it.

WWE 205 Live November 21, 2017 Results and Review

The show started with a thanksgiving feast on the table and Enzo Amore talking to his crew of lackeys. He said that if the guys won tonight, they may talk about getting a title shot. Then they notice that Gulak is missing, and out comes a guy dressed in a turkey outfit. It’s Drew Gulak and he said that Enzo told him to lighten up. This leads to the intro and the start of the show.

Akira Tozawa defeated Drew Gulak in a Street Fight

This was a good match. Tozawa wasn’t dominant throughout, and Gulak put the boots to him. There was a bit of plunder, but the best spot was Gulak catching Tozawa from a suicide dive and then dropping him on the ramp with a suplex. This was chemistry and timing all rolled into one. One of the best spots of the night, and something that made this match my favorite of the week. Gulak and Tozawa fought on the outside, and then a table was introduced. Gulak was put into a trash can, and then Tozawa jumped off the top rope through the trash can with Gulak still inside of it, for the big win. A great match if you ask me, and a solid opener. Gulak would get ridiculed and put on time out for his loss.

Tony Nese defeated Mustafa Ali

Ali is so good in the ring, and Nese is impressive, despite his bigger build. How is he only 205? I don’t know. Ali threw his high flying style at Nese, but it was Nese with some quick reflexes that got out of the way of Ali’s onslaught and eventually finished him off. Ali was rammed into the post, knocked out and that was the end of him for this match up.

Cedric Alexander and Rich Swann defeated Ariya Daivari and Noam Dar

This wasn’t a great match. There were a few good moments, Noam Dar is faster than ever, and Alexander and Swann make a good team. Daivari also impressed with his timing, and high flying capabilities, but it was the good guys that got the win yet again, even though Enzo Amore kept interfering in the match. As soon as the good guys won, Enzo jumped in and started to beat them down. That prompted Mustafa Ali and Akira Tozawa to run down only to get beat up by the rest of the Zo Train, and that was that. The boots were put down, and the show was over with the bad guys doing the Enzo dance.

Now, while this wasn’t a bad night of wrestling, I have to ask where the rest of the roster is? Where was The Brian Kendrick, Lince Dorado, and Gran Metalik? There should be way more guys on this roster, if you ask me. They should even bring guys in from Mexico if need be.

WWE Summerslam 2017 Results and Review The Marathon Show Continues

Brown Shoeman Drops Lesnar - SRC wwe.com
If you had plans for Sunday night, I hope you erased them when you heard that the WWE Summerslam PPV was going to be 9 hours long. Ok, it wasn’t that long, but it certainly was long enough to garner a lot of tired faces by the time the main event came through. I have heard a lot of people talk about this show, and I’ve seen a lot of videos about what the thoughts were from a variety of people. But these are my thoughts on the night, as you know I was going to say something, because I sat through a lot of wrestling after writing an essay for school.

WWE Summerslam 2017 Results and Review

The Miz and The Miztourage defeated The Hardy Boyz and Jason Jordan

The arena was empty for this match. It was bad. These guys fought to a decent match, but I don’t know why they chose to do the same match again from Raw. This wasn’t half bad, but of course, The Miz and his crew got the big win on the ppv. This was fast paced, and not necessarily bad, but I’m not sure why Miz wasn’t defending his title here. I guess maybe it won’t happen until the next PPV. Jason Jordan and his team loses, in front of 12 people, and I’m not kidding.

Neville defeated Akira Tozawa for the WWE Cruiserweight Championship

This was fascinating, as it was another match between these two guys. Tozawa beat Neville on Raw, and it was a good match. However, this was another match where the two put on some good back and forth. However, the leaping senton bomb was thwarted by Neville, and the Red Arrow came through and Tozawa was done. I do not know what Titus O’Neil doesn’t help out, or cause a distraction. This was an ok match, but again, only like 20 people in the audience made this ok, at best.

The Usos defeated The New Day for the WWE Smackdown Tag Team Championship

I do not think there is a better duo than The Usos. They are on the same exact page, and they keep pushing through a lot of moves, and reversals, with expert timing. These two guys are just incredible. The New Day is boring to me, but they keep trying to put on good matches. They did just that, and they were able to gain the upper hand for a good portion of the match, but it was the Usos and their fast-paced wrestling that ended up getting the big win. I loved the ending, dual super kicks, and their finish, which was stellar. The Usos are in their prime.

John Cena defeated Baron Corbin

This was a burial. Do not even argue with me. This was a burial that was akin to many other burials that you’ve seen in the past. John Cena defeated Baron Corbin clean. I kid you not. Clean. Cena wins in the opening match, and goes home to sleep because tomorrow he’s probably doing something grand. Well, tomorrow is Tuesday, but maybe he’s on Raw tonight? Oh boy!

Natalya defeated Naomi for the Smackdown Women’s Championship

This was a sloppy match, and I had a stomach issue. I went to the bathroom at one point, and came back, and it was still going. Natalya can be good, and Naomi has gotten better, but there was something missing between these two. It was fun, no doubt, and the winner was Natalya. She made Naomi tap out to the sharpshooter, which I thought was great, so good for her.

Big Cass defeated Big Show w/ Enzo Amore in a Shark Cage

The best part of this match was Enzo Amore stripping, lubing himself up and escaping the cage. That was thwarted by Cass, with a huge kick. Show got pinned after the empire elbow, and that was that. Not a great match, but Enzo was funny to me.

Randy Orton defeated Rusev

And another burial. Rusev has been downhill for a while, and here we go, Orton shows up and with a RKO out of nowhere, and the end. Less than 5 minutes. Rusev loses, and that’s that.

Sasha Banks defeated Alexa Bliss for the Raw Women’s Championship

This wasn’t half bad. This was interesting, with Alexa impressing me a lot. Sasha put on a show as usual, but I didn’t like the end. I thought for sure Alexa Bliss should’ve pinned banks with her finisher, or at least threw a tantrum and walked out, for a DQ finish. But no, this time we get Sasha Banks winning after a lot of back and forth. However, Banks looked to have messed up her shoulder, legit, so we’ll see how that goes on. Banks got beat up in this match, Bliss was great, but she pulled a rabbit out of the hat and won the title yet again. Good for her.

The Demon Finn Balor defeated Bray Wyatt

I’m not a fan of boring ass Finn Balor. He beat the Eater of Pins, and that was that. It was about 8 minutes long, and Wyatt loses fast, after a ton of offense from Balor. This match was just Balor throwing himself around at Wyatt, that’s about it.

Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins defeated Cesaro and Sheamus for the Raw Tag Team Championship

This wasn’t half bad. This was kind of cool, a good amount of action, and both teams throwing down a lot of punishment against each other. I loved the dynamic, and at the end, it was Ambrose and Rollins won a huge solution overall. This was a classic tag team battle, with two members of the Shield. I wanted to Roman Reigns to join them, but nope. I didn’t dislike Dean in this one, which was grand. Ambrose and Rollins make a great team, and this match was a great one, including the beach ball getting torn apart by Cesaro. The commentary team sucks, though.

AJ Styles defeated Kevin Owens with Special Guest Referee Shane McMahon

Not a bad match. The best of their series, but it wasn’t that great. Owens will most likely fight McMahon, I guess. Styles is great, I love his work, but he needs a new opponent, I’m tired of him fighting Owens. Although, I wouldn’t mind seeing Shane McMahon versus Kevin Owens with Aj Styles as a guest referee! This was ok, I have no complaints, but we need something new.

WWE Champion Jinder Mahal defeated Shinsuke Nakamura

Well, the burial of Nakamura is complete. Jinder Mahal defeated Shinsuke, and wow, that was the end. Nakamura did ok with Mahal, and the Singh brothers helped him get the win. Jinder isn’t half bad, but he’s juicing. I liked the dynamic, but watching Nakamura lose, with a botched finish? I guess that’s the best that can happen with Jinder. Jinder’s mainstream push hit a high note this morning as the New York Times talked about Jinder, and well, that’s good. Good for him.

WWE Universal Champion Brock Lesnar defeated Roman Reigns, Samoa Joe, and Braun Strowmana

This fatal 4 way title match was about as good as you’re going to get from WWE’s mainstream offering. I was surprised by how good the match was, because Brock was getting taken out early by Braun. Braun really got to Lesnar, and he even through him through two tables, before the paramedics came out. They wheeled out Brock, and he left for a while. But he came back, and then it was time to go to Suplex City! This was a good match, with lots of action. All guys hit their moves, submissions, and so much more. I was impressed with even Roman Reigns! Holy crap the dude threw down. This was fun, and a great showing. Oh, and of course, I had to mention Braun throwing the damn padded chair made another appearance. Lame.

Summerslam was good, no doubt. But was it great? Not as good as NXT if you ask me. The wrestling was good, but this was really long, and that’s my only big critique for this show. After sitting through so many hours, I don’t know if I even want to review Raw, but probably will. This was a lot of wrestling, and a lot of burials, and random notes. Oh, and Elias is great, more Elias and the Drifter!

WWE Monday Night Raw August 14, 2017 Results and Review Lesnar Still Sucks

Bork Lazer Vs. The World - SRC WWE.COM
Wow, color me late again. This is a review that should’ve been up on Tuesday or Wednesday, but instead, it’s getting written right now. I’m late, and that’s because I had to once again sit through 5 hours of television to get through this. Or 4 hours, I don’t recall. Either way, here’s my review of the HULU version of Monday Night Raw, because you asked, or didn’t, I don’t know what is going on sometimes.

WWE Monday Night Raw August 14, 2017 Results and Review

Was there a talking segment to open things up? Maybe? I think it may have been Seth Rollins, and if it was, I was bored. Cesaor and Sheamus luckily came down to beat him up, but oh no, here comes Dean “Boring” Ambrose to stop it. I was not thrilled, as I think he’s been resting on his laurels for some time, and his in ring performances have bored me as of late. Rollins and Dean tease the fist bump, and then connect, because you know, the Shield reunion is going to be inevtible, and Roman Reigns will need them to win the title, if you ask me.

This set up a tag team title’s match for SummerSlam this year.

Sasha Banks defeated Nia Jax

They say that there was a women’s revolution in WWE, but you know what? Revolution means a full circle, and that’s what we are getting. This match was not that long, and it wasn’t believable to me. The match between Jax and Banks from Fastlane was far better if you ask me. However, this was good for what it was, and Jax loses again, while Banks goes on to face Alexa Bliss. It should be a no-dq match, but something tells me Little Miss Bliss is going to retain.

Elias attacked R-Truth

This was not on HULU.

Big Cass and the Club Sandwich Boys break Big Shows Arm.

You read that right. There’s not much I can say about that. Big Cass did cut one good promo, though. Although, it was hard to pay attention to him, as he was “orange”. I kid you not. That spray tan was too much.

Bray Wyatt defeated Finn Balor

This was a dumb match. Balor barely got in any offense, and Bray Wyatt just easily beat him with a crotch shot and Sister Abigail. I still think that Wyatt should get a real Sister Abigail to show up, and he should also team up with Bo Dallas. Wishful thinking on my part, which will likely never happen, I’m sure. Bray Wyatt wins, then pores blood on Balor. But wait! The commentary team did not say anything about this. The HULU version edited out the commentary teams statements, so you didn’t hear them say acid, or whatever it is that people on twitter said. Who cares, this is a boring feud. I hear the Demon is coming at Summerslam, ok. Sure. Finn Balor is nothing more than Alex Wright 2.0 if you ask me.

Akira Tozawa defeated Neville for the WWE Cruiserweight Championship

Tozawa is a great character, and he can really put on a show. This match, wasn’t that great. However, the big senton bomb from Tozawa saved it. He has some serious height on that, and it reminds me of how good Dick Togo was. This was a good performance from both, but the title change seems odd to me, especially since I’m not following 205 Live as much as I had in the past. I need to get back to it.

Jason Jordan defeated The Miz via DQ

This was fast, and it didn’t get far. Jordan got jumped by Miz’s cronies and that was that. Jordan then cleaned house, but the Miztourage is going to definitely cause disruption for the young guy. Oh, and the fans could care less, which means they care just a little.

Jason Jordan and The Hardy Boyz defeated The Miz and The Miztourage

Oh, I almost forgot this happened! The Hardy Boyz ran down to save Jordan from a beat down, and that prompted Teddy Long to come down and declare a tag team match! Ok, he didn’t come down, but that’s what happened, a six man tag happened, and that was that.

Bork Lazer fought off a few dudes.

The ending of Raw had Lesnar getting pulled away from beating up the rest of his opponents from Summerslam. I will say this much, the main event is going to be predicable since Lesnar will win and will be at Raw as the champion. That’s been leaked already, so there.

Overall, Raw wasn’t terrible. It was actually watchable for the most part. However, I could not get into the main event, and the lack of lengthy matches makes me miss the old Raw shows where wrestling took more of a front seat, then just randomly throwing together storylines before a PPV. I guess that’s what 2017 WWE is now, a crash course in pro-wrestling.

WWE Great Balls of Fire 2017 Results and Review

Lesnar Really Earned The Paycheck This TIme - SRC WWE.COM
Some people are calling this the best event that the WWE has put together since Wrestlemania. Others are not so happy with the results. Me? I had a blast watching a great deal of the matches, and while I wasn’t in Dallas, I really wish that I was there. Oh well. The great thing about WWE’s build up thus far is that they were able to put in a lot of effort into pushing certain stories, over others. But that doesn’t mean that the show was amazing on all arenas, there were some missteps, but here we go, this is how it went down, and what I thought of the show, now that I’ve had 24 hours to stew on it, so to speak.

WWE Great Balls of Fire 2017 Review

WWE Cruiserweight Champion Neville def. Akira Tozawa

Not a terrible match, but it was obvious that Neville was only going half speed. Tozawa is good, and he put on a showcase, but Titus and him couldn’t get this win over Neville. I’m souring on the cruiserweights, and I’m not sure how long WWE is going to push the show, if they are going to do so at all in the near future, oh well. This match was good, but too bad it was an opener and not on the main card.

Bray Wyatt def. Seth Rollins

The eater of pins got a clean win on Seth Rollins. Some say it wasn’t clean because of a thumb in the eye, but you know what? He was on the outside, and Rollins was pulling his hair. He came back into the ring, breaking the referee’s count, and pinned Rollins after a Sister Abigail finisher. That’s about as clean as you’re going to get folks.

Big Cass def. Enzo Amore

Enzo cut a cool promo, but then got beat down. He lost big time. Cass is big, he gets the win. Not a great match. Enzo is done in the WWE if you ask me.

Raw Tag Team Champions Cesaro and Sheamus def. The Hardy Boyz (30-Minute WWE Iron Man Match)

This was a fun 30 minute match, and the two teams put on a clinic if you ask me. I loved it. I loved how Matt even got busted open the hard way. The teams are so good together, and they just gel during the whole match. All of the offense and defense was fun, and the timing went well. Just a lot of great spots here, and some great overall timing on the part of both teams. I loved it. Great iron man match, and this feud rolls on, again.

Sasha Banks def. Raw Women’s Champion Alexa Bliss via Count-out

Sasha Banks was able to beat Alexa Bliss after a great back and forth battle, but only because Bliss got herself counted out. That means that she kept the title, which is what I’ve been saying all along about the heel champions. They should pull this more often. As for Banks, she is great, and was able to launch herself off the top of the announcers table, with double knees, and busted Bliss mouth wide open. A great spot, a good match, and smart booking if you ask me.

Intercontinental Champion The Miz def. Dean Ambrose

I didn’t care for this match, but Bo Dallas looking like the One Man Gang was cool. The MIz won with the help of his crew, and Ambrose is going to need a new partner to square off against, if you ask me. I’m tired of his phoning it in.

Braun Strowman def. Roman Reigns (Ambulance Match)

I didn’t expect this match to be as entertaining as it was. It was definitely a fast paced, fluid match, and the two put on a show. Roman Reigns was over zealous at one point and launched himself into the Ambulance, and LOST clean! He got so mad, however, that he threw Braun into the ambulance and then rammed it into a semi. He nearly KILLED Strowman, in storyline. This is nothing new. People are talking a heel turn, I don’t know. I liked this match, and am glad Strowman got the win. He may be next for Lesnar, and will most likely lose.

Heath Slater def. Curt Hawkins

Wow! Heath Slater and Curt Hawkins were sent out to battle, and the WWE didn’t even show it for the most part. Slater won, but the show was not showing the match, the cameras showed the ambulance and Braun backstage.

Universal Champion Brock Lesnar def. Samoa Joe

This reminded me of the WWF Championship run that The Undertaker had in 1997. If you remember the matches after Wrestlemania 13, you will realize that The Undertaker fought everyone off in really competitive matches until meeting head first against Bret Hart at Summerslam. That match was epic, but he fought off Farooq, Stone Cold, and many others on the way to Summerslam that year. Lesnar could very well be that good, if he wrestled more often, but this match was great. Joe was not afraid, and he put the boots to Lesnar, and even went to Suplex city many times. However, one F5 later, and Joe loses clean in under 10 minutes. This was a great match for what it was, even if it was short. I hate Lesnar now, but hey, Joe got the best of him, and there’s no telling where this is going. Joe showed me that he could and should be champion, if you ask me.

There you have it, the big event is over, and the matches are done. Who knows what is going to go down tonight on Raw, but it’s going to be an interesting one, no doubt.

WWE 205 Live May 9, 2017 Results and Review The Best Match No One Saw

Dude Caught A Beat Down
WWE 205 Live is supposed to be the most exciting hour of wrestling, but instead, it’s only 45 minutes. The opening of this piece of trash was another talking segment! I kid you not, 20 minutes of talking! Why? Why does every show have to start with 20 minutes of talking to set up NOTHING. This didn’t set up a match for later, it didn’t do anything but do the same thing that a match or a backstage segment could do. Furthermore, how can the good guys always get the upper hand on dominant champions and heels? At least in these blow off segments? I found the opening of this showcase to be absolutely terrible.

20 Minutes of Talking With Jack Gallagher and Austin Aries
Mustafa Ali defeated Tony Nese
Akira Tozawa defeated The Brian Kendrick

WWE 205 Live May 9, 2017 Review

The opening of this show felt like WWE Lite, if you ask me. There was a small brawl, and the two good guys drank beer. Oh well.

Mustafa Ali defeated Tony Nese

This was a 5 star match. Mustafa Ali is perhaps the most compelling wrestler of all time, without saying a word. He reminds me of the amazing performances that Blitzkrieg put on in WCW before leaving. He was there for a year, made his nut, and went to start a computer business. Whatever the case is, Tony Nese and Mustafa Ali tore the house down, and I was absolutely impressed with all the hard work that they put in on this match. If you didn’t see it, then you really missed one hell of a match. How Mustafa Ali isn’t in the title picture is beyond me, because he is the absolute best performer on 205 Live Right Now.

Akira Tozawa defeated The Brain Kendrick

This was a slow moving match, and it ended with a roll up. Tozawa would then get a beat down outside of the ring, and got sandwiched between the stairs that Kendrick would kick, as shown in the picture above. That’s about it.

The only reason to watch this week’s 205 Live is for the second match, which was absolutely amazing. Mustafa Ali should be given so much praise for his performances, and Tony Nese, man, what a guy. I’m saddened that these two aren’t the main focus more often. But hey, that’s how it all works out.

Before I close this out, I would like to say that the backstage segment with Daivari and Tozawa was kind of cool, only it led to nothing. Oh well.

WWE 205 Live April 25, 2017 Results and Review The C Show At Best Comes Through

Austin Aries gives a beat down - SRC WWE.COM
They say that 205 Live is the most exciting hour of wrestling, but honestly, it’s more like 45 minutes of boredom. This night’s show was not good. It was bad. It was an absolute terrible showing if you ask me.

WWE 205 Live April 25, 2017 Results

Rich Swann and Akira Tozawa defeated Noam Dar and Brian Kendrick
Tony Nese defeated Mustafa Ali via Disqualification
Neville defeated Jack Gallagher

WWE 205 Live April 25, 2017 Review

Rich Swann and Akira Tozawa defeated Noam Dar and Brian Kendrick

Rich Swann’s entrance is one of my favorites. His enthusiasm for what he does is infections. If I am ever in the arena, I will be dancing along with him, because he is quite fun to watch. Akira Tozawa has also won me over. The two make a good team, and they were able to get the win over Noam Dar and Kendrick. This was a good flowing match, with fast paced shots, and great overall momentum. Nothing crazy, just pure wrestling action here, so for that, great job WWE.

Tony Nese defeated Mustafa Ali via Disqualification

I’m a fan of Tony Nese and Mustafa Ali, but I don’t need to see them wrestle every week. This moved the needle a bit towards the feud with Drew Gulak and Ali. Other than that, it was a somewhat boring match, with Ali and Nese going through their normal motions.

Neville defeated Jack Gallagher

Neville and Jack Gallagher did the same match you’ve already seen them do on PPV. This time, Neville would get the win with the Rings of Saturn, and never going too risky. Afterwards he beat up Gallagher, and that prompted Austin Aries to run out and beat him up.

This night was boring. There was a few great spots, but overall, it was not fun. The opening match was the best part of this show, and other than that, this is another forgettable night from the cruiserweights of WWE.

WWE 205 Live Results and Review Slowing Down The Cruiserweights

Neville Beats Up Aries - src wwe.com
WWE 205 Live is supposed to be an hour of action, but honestly, it’s more like 45 minutes of show, and lots of filler. This week’s highlight was Mustafa Ali, simple as that. Let’s discuss this showcase of the lighter side of wrestling.

WWE 205 Live Results

Akira Tozawa defeated Tony Nese
Rich Swann defended Cedric Alexander’s honor
Ariya Daivari defeated Mustafa Ali
Austin Aries defated Tj Perkins

WWE 205 Live Review

Akira Tozawa defeated Tony Nese

Tony Nese is the most underrated wrestler on the 205 roster. He’s stellar in ring, and Tozawa made him look great too. Tozawa is over with his yelling, and you know what, I’m growing to like the guy. This was a hard style match with Tozawa getting the big win overall. Great opener.

Rich Swann defended Cedric Alexander’s honor

This was nonsense. Alicia Foxx is hot though.

Ariya Daivari defeated Mustafa Ali

Ali is the most incredible of wrestlers. He put on a highlight reel again. I am hoping the best for Mustafa Ali, and if they make a shirt for him, I’m buying it. He is the best wrestler on 205 Live that is just going out and performing 5 star classics. Gulak came out protesting high flying, and that let Ariya Daivari get the win. Daivari’s character is starting to get more rounded out, which is a good thing. This was a great match folks, I loved it, you should love it too.

Austin Aries defeated Tj Perkins

Austin Aries put on an ok show with Tj Perkins. Perkins as a heel is ok, but he needs better talent to work with. I would say to put him on NXT and let him wrestle other guys. This was not a great match. The two didn’t have the chemistry that I thought they would have. Also, I’m not sold on Aries, I don’t see the big deal yet. Oh well. This was a good match, not great, but it was ok. Lots of great back and forth, and good overall maneuvers. Aries wins, getting that burial back from last week or two weeks ago.

Post match, Neville came down and beat up Aries, and that was the end of the night. I’ll have an NXT review tomorrow, and then a review of the first ever Monday Night Raw.

WWE 205 Live Results and Review Give Jack Gallagher a Raise

Jack Gallagher Highlights 205 Live - src wwe.com
205 Live had some interesting points, but overall, it was all somewhat predictable, with one exception. If there’s an A show for wrestling, it’s this one. 205 Live is a wonderful display of awesome elements.

WWE 205 Live Results

Akira Tozawa defeated The Brian Kendrick
Rich Swann defeated Oney Lorcan
Austin Aries defeated Tj Perkins, Jack Gallagher, and Mustafa Ali to be the No. 1 Contender

WWE 205 Live Review

This is a pure wrestling show, so let’s discuss that part of it. Well, to be fair, Neville showed up at one point. Neville said a few things, and that’s that.

Akira Tozawa defeated The Brian Kendrick

Tozawa put on a show against Brian Kendrick, as usual. Kendrick faked a knee injury and rolled up Kendrick, leading him to get on the mic and say he has taught Kendrick a lesson. Fun stuff here, with a lot of great moments, even if it wasn’t long.

Rich Swann defeated Oney Lorcan

Oney Lorcan is a ball of fire. From the start, he threw everything he had against Rich Swann. I was impressed with the speed and precision of Lorcan, as he moved as fast as he could through moves, and Swann getting a win, but only after he had to wake up fast. Swann then got on the mic and said that he loved Alicia FOuuuuuuxxxx. Lorcan doesn’t look like much, but is amazing, I can’t wait to see him get more matches.

Austin Aries defeated Tj Perkins, Jack Gallagher, and Mustafa Ali to be the No. 1 Contender

Austin Aries was great here, but it was Mustafa Ali, Tj Perkins, and Jack Gallagher that stole the show. Gallagher especially, wow. Ali is also impressive, and Perkins has some great moves too. This was a fun match, with Aries getting the win at the end and getting another shot at Neville. Gallagher, though, wow. Ali, wow, and Perkins, amazing. Great overall show.

Austin Aries Needs To Stop Running His Mouth - SRC WWE.COM
If you’re a wrestling fan, and you want to watch pure wrestling, then usually you would turn on WWE 205 Live. But this time around, the block of 1 hour was actually shortened because of the ending element and we’ll discuss that here on the blogomatic.

WWE 205 Live March 28, 2017 Results

Rich Swann defeated Ariya Daivari
Mustafa Ali defeated Brandon Scott
The Brian Kendrick defeated Akira Tozawa
Neville and Austin Aries talked for too long

WWE 205 Live March 28, 2017 Review

Let me ask you something. Where is Lince Dorado and Gran Metalik? I though there were more cruiserweights in the WWE, and for that matter, where is Kalisto? He’d be perfect in this division. Oh well.

Rich Swann defeated Ariya Daivari

This was a workable match, but there is no real story here. Daivari has more of an influence with Jack Gallagher than with Swann, and this just seems like a waste. A shortened match with a few good spots to boot.

Mustafa Ali defeated Brandon Scott

Mustafa Ali has made a fan out of me. I wasn’t sure about him, but wow. What a worker. I hope they put him in more main event matches, because he’s ridiculously good. He’s wasted on this show though.

The Brian Kendrick defeated Akira Tozawa

Akira Tozawa should’ve got his revenge, right? Nope. Kendrick wins this slow paced to mid-paced match up of not so epic proportions. It’s ok, but it wasn’t as impactful as they were building up to for weeks.

Neville and Austin Aries talked for too long

This felt like it dragged on and on. There’s no real hype for me. Why was Austin in his regular clothes, but Neville in his wrestling gear? Neville didn’t wrestle on this show. Aries is ok, but honestly, I don’t see the hype. I guess I’ll find out at Mania whether he’s worth the ticket price.

That’s it. This episode of 205 Live was not worth it. This was just a bland, mayonnaise sandwich on white bread. It just wasn’t fun. Oh well. I guess we’re on to NXT tomorrow, and hopefully I will have a review of an old school classic.

WWE 205 Live March 21, 2017 Results and Review The Most Wrestling Per Hour

Neville Stomped Out Mustafa Ali - SRC WWE.com
I’m doing what most people are not doing. I am watching and reviewing WWE 205 Live. I don’t know a lot of podcasts that even cover it, and they have their reasons. It’s stupid, but hey, I’m not a podcaster yet.

This week on 205 Live, we had a few backstage elements that moved the needle. Noam Dar said he wasn’t going to be sending gifts and insinuated that Rich Swann was sending them. Meanwhile, Jack Gallagher was teaching Swann how to be a gentleman. Good stuff there.

WWE 205 Live March 21, 2017 Results

Tony Nese defeated Tj Perkins
Akira Tozawa defeated Jobber
Austin Aries interviewed himself
Neville defeated Mustafa Ali

WWE 205 Live March 21, 2017 Review

Tony Nese defeated Tj Perkins

Nese is a star, he’s the total package if you ask me. He’s muscular and he’s athletic, and has a personality to boot. He shouldn’t be stuck in 205 hell, he should be on the Raw or Smackdown show doing his thing. Tj Perkins is great too. He put on a show here, but it was Nese that got the better of him with a mix of strong style and high flying. I’m a fan of Tony Nese thus far, and Perkins has an upside too. I hope they continue to give them time to wrestle, rather than 2 minute matches on Raw.

Akira Tozawa defeated Jobber

Tozawa beat up a jobber, nothing special.

Austin Aries interviewed himself

Aries is great on the mic, but I’m not convinced he’s that grand.

Neville defeated Mustafa Ali

Mustafa Ali! What a competitor. This guy is the shining star of NXT and boy, he put on a show. Neville was great too, but Mustafa Ali should be on Raw or Smackdown doing great things. He has all of the moves, all of the timing, and incredible elements that make a good wrestler. Go back and watch this match just for the suplexes, and the high flying elements that

WWE 205 Live March 14, 2017 Results and Review The Predictable Austin Aries

I Just Don't Get It Yet - src wwe.com
I may be the only idiot that is watching and reviewing 205 live. I listen to a lot of podcasts and few of them are watching and reviewing this show, so if you’re looking for opinions on it, you’re going to find that it’s few and far between. Here are my thoughts on the night of action from the cruiserweights of WWE.

WWE 205 Live March 14, 2017 Results

Mustafa Ali defeated Drew Gulak
Noam Dar and Ariya Daivari defeated Rich Swann and Gentleman Jack Gallagher
Austin Aries defeated Tj Perkins, The Brian Kendrick, Akira Tozawa, and Tony Nese in a 5 way

WWE 205 Live March 14, 2017 Review

Mustafa Ali defeated Drew Gulak

Mustafa Ali may be the most underrated wrestler in WWE. Ok, a lot of the guys are underrated. Drew Gulak showed some serious momentum at one point in this match, but was the inverted 450 that took him out. You have to see this move, it’s absolutely stunning. I’m absolutely impressed with the execution every single time. Ali gets the win and Gulak gets frustrated after the fact, yelling into the mic that 205 sucks essentially.

Noam Dar and Ariya Daivari defeated Rich Swann and Gentleman Jack Gallagher

A good match with Noam Dar and Daivari getting their win back. Dar is so good with his selling, and Daivari’s vendetta against Jack Gallagher is great. Rich Swann’s charisma is great too, and all of these guys are fun to watch. This match had a lot of fast moving action, and through it all we were left wondering about Alicia Fouxxxxx. I love Dar’s accent, and this match was good too. Great stuff.

Austin Aries defeated Tj Perkins, The Brian Kendrick, Akira Tozawa, and Tony Nese in a 5 way

What a battle. The 5 way matches on 205 Live are incredible. This was another great one. Every man is over with the crowd here. Tozawa is great, his yelling has grown on me. Nese is a specimen of greatness, and Kendrick as the all out heel is great too. Aries hasn’t grown on me, and I don’t see his appeal just yet. But his finisher and elbow from the top is great. My only major critique here is the constant suicide dives every wrestler does, I’m tired of those. Other than that, this was a great match that should get more views.

Overall, 205 Live is a great wrestling show, and if you’re not watching it, I feel sorry for you. The guys on this show are absolutely talented and should get more attention. Aries and Neville is booked for Mania and should be an interesting match to watch. I don’t expect Aries to win, yet.

WWE Monday Night Raw March 13, 2017 Results and Review Waste of Our Time

Rollins Is Hurt? Not Likely - SRC WWE.COM
Raw came to us from the Joe Louis Arena in Detroit, Michigan and from what I’m told it’s the last time. The arena may be getting bulldozed or something, but whatever the case may be, last night Raw was live and in stereo. I had high hopes for the night, but what ended up being pushed through was absolute garbage. There was a lot to complain about on this Raw, and wow, what a big level of b.s. and here we go.

WWE Monday Night Raw March 13, 2017 Results

Brock Lesnar and Paul Heyman revealed the “Theory of WrestleMania Relativity”

Raw Women's Champion Bayley def. Nia Jax via Disqualification
Raw General Manager Mick Foley tried to fire Raw Commissioner Stephanie McMahon

WWE Monday Night Raw March 13, 2017 Review

Brock Lesnar and Paul Heyman revealed the “Theory of WrestleMania Relativity”

I am not a fan of wrestling shows opening with guys talking. This night opened up with some absolutely tremendous b.s! Heyman came out to say that Lesnar will win at Wrestlemania. Brock Lesnar, the guy that has been punked out twice now, is going to win at Wrestlemania? I am STILL going to say that Bill Goldberg will win the match at Mania.

Sasha Banks def. Dana Brooke

This match was supposed to help Charlotte Flair. Flair told Brooke to make sure that Sasha could not continue moving forward to their match at Wrestlemania. But what happened? Brooke got beat down and lost in a fast match.

After the match, Flair was in the ring berating Brooke for losing, but Brooke turned and beat up the former women’s champion to an uproar from the crowd. I liked that!

The Brian Kendrick and Tony Nese def. Akira Tozawa and TJ Perkins

The cruiserweights once again put on a show. This was a fast paced, knock out match with some great timing. Even though Kendrick and Nese won, Perkins and Tozawa put on a great show of moves, and it was fun to watch. I really liked this match.

U.S. Champion Chris Jericho and Sami Zayn def. Kevin Owens and Samoa Joe via Disqualification

This match came after Kevin Owens did a longwinded speech about how he was going to beat Jericho. Then out came Samoa Joe and a straight up tag team match took shape. Jericho and Zayn tagged together, because they are now friends? This match ended in a disqualification, and that’s that. I guess Joe and Owens are the new hit crew? I don’t care for them, and Jericho is signaling a loss at Mania.

Enzo Amore and Big Cass vs. Cesaro and Sheamus ended in a No Contest

This match didn’t get going too far, as the Club Sandwich boys came out and beat up the two tag teams. Foley got mad and made a triple threat match for the titles at Mania.

Roman Reigns def. Jinder Mahal

Jinder My Balls lost. Reigns wins again, simple as that.

Shawn Michaels came out after the fact. HBK told Reigns that Undertaker is in his head, and that he better watch out. Reigns was ok here, but it was mostly a loss.

Austin Aries def. Ariya Daivari

This match was slow moving, and that was that. It was forgettable to say the least.

Big Show def. Titus O'Neil

Ugh, The BIG SLOW beat up Titus O’Neil. Lame.

Raw Women's Champion Bayley def. Nia Jax via Disqualification

Another bad match. Jax got disqualified and that’s that. She was back stage saying that she should be getting a title shot, and instead got this match, bulldozing Bayley. The same Nia Jax that couldn’t beat Sasha Banks at Fastlane is now just bulldozing Bayley, who cares.

Raw General Manager Mick Foley tried to fire Raw Commissioner Stephanie McMahon

And then we came to the end. Mick Foley said that Stephanie McMahon should be fired. Then Stephanie said no, and out came Triple H. Triple H came out and berated Foley. Foley was about to leave when he came out with Mr. Socko and put it into H! The crowd went nuts, and that prompted limpy Mcgee Seth Rollins. He threw away his crutch and then beat up Triple H for a minute before Triple H took the crutch and smashed Rollins across the knee and then beat him up. That was the end of Raw.

This night of 3 hours of Raw had very little wrestling. It was boring to say the least. Rollins doesn’t have a legit knee injury folks. I have one, and can say that it’s not so simple to get back into the ring like that. Whatever the case is, Raw was a boring, diluted, convoluted showcase of bad wrestling. Oh well. If you saw it, did you like it? I didn’t. I feel like it was a waste of my time.
