I may be the only idiot that is watching and reviewing 205 live. I listen to a lot of podcasts and few of them are watching and reviewing this show, so if you’re looking for opinions on it, you’re going to find that it’s few and far between. Here are my thoughts on the night of action from the cruiserweights of WWE.

Austin Aries defeated Tj Perkins, The Brian Kendrick, Akira Tozawa, and Tony Nese in a 5 way

WWE 205 Live March 14, 2017 Review

Mustafa Ali defeated Drew Gulak

Mustafa Ali may be the most underrated wrestler in WWE. Ok, a lot of the guys are underrated. Drew Gulak showed some serious momentum at one point in this match, but was the inverted 450 that took him out. You have to see this move, it’s absolutely stunning. I’m absolutely impressed with the execution every single time. Ali gets the win and Gulak gets frustrated after the fact, yelling into the mic that 205 sucks essentially.

Noam Dar and Ariya Daivari defeated Rich Swann and Gentleman Jack Gallagher

A good match with Noam Dar and Daivari getting their win back. Dar is so good with his selling, and Daivari’s vendetta against Jack Gallagher is great. Rich Swann’s charisma is great too, and all of these guys are fun to watch. This match had a lot of fast moving action, and through it all we were left wondering about Alicia Fouxxxxx. I love Dar’s accent, and this match was good too. Great stuff.

Austin Aries defeated Tj Perkins, The Brian Kendrick, Akira Tozawa, and Tony Nese in a 5 way

What a battle. The 5 way matches on 205 Live are incredible. This was another great one. Every man is over with the crowd here. Tozawa is great, his yelling has grown on me. Nese is a specimen of greatness, and Kendrick as the all out heel is great too. Aries hasn’t grown on me, and I don’t see his appeal just yet. But his finisher and elbow from the top is great. My only major critique here is the constant suicide dives every wrestler does, I’m tired of those. Other than that, this was a great match that should get more views.

Overall, 205 Live is a great wrestling show, and if you’re not watching it, I feel sorry for you. The guys on this show are absolutely talented and should get more attention. Aries and Neville is booked for Mania and should be an interesting match to watch. I don’t expect Aries to win, yet.
