WWE 205 Live April 17, 2018 Results and Review The Weight Problem

Stereo Dives - Source WWE
205 Live is a bastard child of the WWE at this point, and while this show was good, it doesn’t get nearly the same promotional consideration that the other shows get. That’s sad, considering the talent that comes through this brand.

WWE 205 Live April 17, 2018 Results and Review

Mustafa Ali defeated Ariya Daivari

I thought for sure Ariya Daivari had Mustafa Ali’s number here, but nope, Ali wins again. The match was stellar, but I can’t stand how they book Ali sometimes. He should be selling from Wrestlemania’s loss, and should be slightly distracted, and shouldn’t kick out of Daivari’s finisher. But then again, Daivari must be learning or something because Ali got the win, even if it was logical. The 054 splash hit and Ali gets another hard fought victory. I miss the ZO Train.

Buddy Murphy Doesn’t Make Weight

Buddy Murphy was 2 pounds over, who gives a crap!?! So now we get a gauntlet match for next week’s show. Ok.

Jack Gallagher and The Brian Kendrick defeated Jobbers

There wasn’t much to this, it was just jobbers getting beat up.

Lince Dorado and Gran Metalik defeated Akira Tozawa and Hideo Itami in a Tornado Tag Team Match

I haven’t seen one of these in a while and it didn’t disappoint. The match was back and forth, with lots of action, lots of high flying, and counters. The lucha guys were able to get a win with some killer moves from the top to end it all, but it was a fast paced, flurried match with a lot to offer critics. I found it fund, and was loving every minute. A great way to end 205 Live that’s for sure.
