WWE 205 Live March 28, 2017 Review

Let me ask you something. Where is Lince Dorado and Gran Metalik? I though there were more cruiserweights in the WWE, and for that matter, where is Kalisto? He’d be perfect in this division. Oh well.

Rich Swann defeated Ariya Daivari

This was a workable match, but there is no real story here. Daivari has more of an influence with Jack Gallagher than with Swann, and this just seems like a waste. A shortened match with a few good spots to boot.

Mustafa Ali defeated Brandon Scott

Mustafa Ali has made a fan out of me. I wasn’t sure about him, but wow. What a worker. I hope they put him in more main event matches, because he’s ridiculously good. He’s wasted on this show though.

The Brian Kendrick defeated Akira Tozawa

Akira Tozawa should’ve got his revenge, right? Nope. Kendrick wins this slow paced to mid-paced match up of not so epic proportions. It’s ok, but it wasn’t as impactful as they were building up to for weeks.

Neville and Austin Aries talked for too long

This felt like it dragged on and on. There’s no real hype for me. Why was Austin in his regular clothes, but Neville in his wrestling gear? Neville didn’t wrestle on this show. Aries is ok, but honestly, I don’t see the hype. I guess I’ll find out at Mania whether he’s worth the ticket price.

That’s it. This episode of 205 Live was not worth it. This was just a bland, mayonnaise sandwich on white bread. It just wasn’t fun. Oh well. I guess we’re on to NXT tomorrow, and hopefully I will have a review of an old school classic.
