WWE Smackdown Live June 26, 2018 Results and Review Where Is Andrade?

The Young Upstart Kane Finally Gets A Shot At The Main Roster - SRC WWE
Why would the WWE keep bringing up talent only for them to not get featured on the show? I’m talking about Andrade Cien Almas, and of course Tye Dillinger, the perfect 10. I guess they just don’t want to showcase these guys? Send them back to NXT then! Geez. Oh yeah, we had Smackdown this week, let’s talk about that for a moment.

WWE Smackdown Live June 26, 2018 Results and Review

Today we start with pure wrestling! No. I kid. We started with Miz TV! More talking! This ended with a challenge as Daniel Bryan came out and talked, which was boring. I don’t want to see more talking, but hey that’s what you get with WWE these days. The promo worked and we got a match for later that will feature Daniel Bryan and one of the Bludgeon Brothers. The Miz escaped a beat down here.

Rusev defeated Xavier Woods

This was your standard television match, nothing too complicated about it. You had a feeling that Rusev was going to win, since it was Rusev day. The match was nothing to write home about, and here I am writing about it, aren’t I? Well, the whole match was good overall, and it definitely had some good points, with Rusev eventually countering Woods here and there and hitting the accolade, making Woods tap fast. Rusev then cut a promo. Not a bad way to start the show, well second on the show, but I could use less talking from Rusev, and more wrestling from Aj Styles.

Apparently the cast of Glow was there to say what’s up to Lana and Naomi. Cool, I guess. I didn’t think all of the starts were there, but maybe there’s all new women? I don’t know.

Jeff Hardy defeated Eric Young by Disqualification

This was a match that was ok at best, but it really took off when the USOS showed up and dispatched Sanity as they were outside. This turned into a six man tag team match, and I was wondering where Teddy Long was to make this happen.

The Usos and Jeff Hardy defeated Sanity

Well well, the new team coming up from NXT gets beat down and loses to the established Smackdown stars. Why bring up starts to get them beat by established stars? I don’t get it. The match was fast paced, and it was really fun to see. The Usos and Jeff Hardy threw down their greatest hits, and it was fun to see, so I guess in terms of wrestling alone, this was great to watch and it was definitely worth your time if you haven’t seen it just yet.

Becky Lynch defeated Sonia Deville

I love Deville. She’s beautiful, and great. Lynch is also smoking hot, but the two together can also throw down. Lynch was able to throw down a great deal of back and forth hits. I liked this one, and it had a great deal of action. Lynch won with the Disarm-her and that was that. Good back and forth, and nice action for the women.

James Ellsworth Cut A Promo

This was a great promo, and Ellsworth is great on the mic. Paige came out and said that Carmella has to fight Asuka. He called out Asuka. But Paige said Asuka wasn’t there etc. Next week Ellsworth will fight Ellsworth next week, and that’s that.

Daniel Bryan defeated Luke Harper via DQ

This wasn’t a great match, but it was adequate for me. It had a good back and forth at first glance, and of course it had Daniel Bryan chopping down Harper for the most part. When it looked like he was going to win, Rowan jumped in to stop things, and that caused the DQ. Kane then showed up and we had a reunion of Team Hell NO, and that was that. Kane, folks, the young upstart KANE is back, instead of Andrade Cien Almas instead of Tye Dillinger, instead of anyone else that they called up, it was that young upstart KANE.

Smackdown was ok, the WWE packed in a few things, but it’s really stupid that this is the conclusion of certain things. There’s a lot to be desired, and honestly, this is a B show for me.

WWE Smackdown Live May 1, 2018 Results and Review The B Show Ends With Women

Superkick - SRC WWE
I still think Smackdown is the B show, even though they have some good points. I just feel that they leave out so much talent, including my man Tye Dillinger the perfect 10. I don’t understand it, but hey, that’s what the WWE is doing, and it’s their prerogative to do so. This night on Smackdown a lot happened inside a small span of time, once again live from Montreal.

WWE Smackdown Live May 1, 2018 Results and Review

Jeff Hardy was the guest on MIZ TV

The Miz said that Daniel Bryan was banned from Miz TV. Randy Orton and Shelton Benjamin interfered here, and things went down to a beat down, and the show got disrupted yet again, because, why not?

Randy Orton and Jeff Hardy defeated The Miz and Shelton Benjamin

As if you didn’t know what was going to happen, you would’ve thought that Teddy Long came back. We had a tag team match playa! This was a fast paced match with The Miz and Benjamin throwing a few moves at Orton and Hardy, but it was the good guys that would get the upper hand yet again. Of course, that’s what would always happen, wouldn’t it? Lame. Not a great match, but not a terrible one either.

Big Cass Beat Down Daniel Bryan

Ok, he didn’t really, he brought out a midget after he threw out a great promo about how he’s going to beat Daniel Bryan into oblivion.

SHinsuke Nakamura demanded an Apology From Aj Styles

He didn’t get it.

Xavier woods defeated Sheamus

Not much to say here, Woods put in a good effort, Sheamus couldn’t get the win, that’s all. I didn’t hate it, but it wasn’t that great either.

Charlotte Flair, Asuka, and Becky Lynch defeated Carmella and The Iiconics

This was the main event and it had a lot of action. The women on the good side won, but it wasn’t without some serious punishment from the Iiconics and Carmella, which came into their own for this one, which was definitely fun to see overall. I love the women on Smackdown, and they are both powerful and beautiful, so there. I loved this match, and it was the highlight of the show for me.

Smackdown seems to be the B show, and it kind of is, leaving a lot of talent in the back and not really getting much attention from the people I wish they did. Either way, it wasn’t terrible, but it wasn’t good either.

WWE Smackdown Live January 16, 2018 Results and Review The Biggest Dumpster Fire Ever

The Glow Kick - Smackdown Live - Source WWE dot com
This was perhaps the worst Smackdown Live that has been put through in a long time. The crowd was nearly dead for a lot of it, there were only 4 matches, and more than 30 minutes of the time slot was given to Jinder Mahal. I kid you not. Jinder Mahal, the modern day Maharaja was the main focal point. Love him or hate him, Jinder Mahal was a big part of the night’s events, and well, let’s break down how it all went down.

WWE Smackdown Live January 16, 2018 Results and Review

The show opened up with Xavier Woods talking on the mic before calling out Jinder Mahal for their United States Title tournament match.

Jinder Mahal defeated Xavier Woods

This was a second round match in the tournament, and Woods put on a good show. He did most of his spots, and Mahal was slowed down for a good portion of this match. However, Mahal found creative ways to block or revert Woods’ offense to the point where Woods would get tripped up and eventually planted for the three count. Mahal would move on in the tournament.

Bobby Roode defeated Mojo Rawley

Bobby Roode took a beating from Mojo Rawley in this match. He was getting a serious beat down before he would reverse things and hit his DDT for the big win. Rawley is no joke here, he was definitely shining and was able to keep up with Roode’s offense and over powered him in a lot of different moments in this match. I loved the presentation, but Roode’s win was telegraphed.

After this match, the Singh Brothers attacked Roode and Mahal would laugh at him. Their championship match would be moved to later on in the night when Daniel Bryan came out and caught Jinder talking smack.

The Riott Squad defeated Charlotte Flair, Naomi, and Becky Lynch

Trading wins back and forth is the worst kind of booking you can do for wrestling. No one ever seems dominant, and it’s just not fun to watch sometimes. The Riott Squad was getting manhandled by Charlotte and her friends, if you ask me. They barely squeaked out a victory here, after getting a lot of brawling done. The Riott Squad would get a win, but this was a standard six man tag match, and well, it wasn’t fun to watch, again.

Bobby Roode defeated Jinder Mahal for the United States Championship

This match was not that good. Roode was winded, and Mahal was just trying to keep up with the veteran. He would put in some good moments here and there, and I’m glad that Bobby Roode get the win, but wow, way to bury Jinder Mahal after being champion, failing to recapture, and then failing to win the United States Championship. Is this the end of Jinder Mahal’s run? Roode wins, and that’s the end of the show.

During the show, there were vignettes of the Royal Rumble participants and it was awful. It lacked emotion and character that you used to get with the older Royal Rumble focused promos, but hey, it’s something, right?

This was a bad night of wrestling, if you can call it that. It had some ok moments, but where were half of the roster? Seriously, there was so much missing, including Zayn, Owens, The Usos (interview and beat down doesn’t count), and many others were just not on the show. Not a great match, but hey, if you love Jinder Mahal, you got him for more than 30 minutes of the show.

WWE Smackdown Live January 2, 2018 Results and Review The McMahon Hour Continues

Only Image From WWE dot com
I didn’t want to watch Smackdown. I really didn’t. Why should I? I could have told you everything that was going to happen, and it’s hard to suspend disbelief when the show seems to telegraphed. But you know what, let’s talk about it anyways.

WWE Smackdown Live January 2, 2018 Results and Review

Shane McMahon and Daniel Bryan started the show talking, alongside AJ Styles. That’s it. This was boring to me, but you know what, it’s what I expect now. I just expect being bored by the opening elements. It’s dumb, but it happens, just like Southpark said it would happen.

The Usos defeated Shelton Benjamin and Chad Gable

This was an ok match, but there was a big problem. You see, the problem was that you will find Benjamin and Gable would win the titles midway through this match. However, both USOS were complaining and the referees, for the first time ever, went to instant replay and figured out that the USOS were doing twin magic! I hate it. I hated this, and it’s stupid. The Usos would win, simple as that.

The Bludgeon Brothers vs. Breezango

This didn’t go very well. The Brothers beat them down before the bell rang, and out came The Ascension, only to get buried. The arena was as quiet as can be for a wrestling event not in Japan.

Xavier Woods defeated Aiden English

This was a fun back and forth match, and while it wasn’t going to be Aiden English’s night, it was fun to see him fight Woods. Rusev is way over, but he wasn’t in the tournament. English pulled off the win and Brooks threw down some great moves, including the big elbow off the top which would get him the big win here. English loses, and that’s the end of this.

Riott Squad defeated Carmella, Natalya, and Tamina

This was boring to me. The Riott Squad already lost. So why are they cutting promos and winning now? I’m honestly at a loss. Afterwards the women on the roster brawled, and that was that. I don’t see the big deal with them, they aren’t dominant at all.

Sami Zayn defeated Aj Styles

This was a terrible match, if you ask me. Styles always does well, but with Owens on the outside, Bryan on the outside, and McMahon on the outside was not great. It’s sad that this story is so terrible. I do like Bryan going heel, but honestly, Styles isn’t getting any favors losing every week, and he loses here thanks to a distraction, yet again.

Anyways, this is a terrible forward progression, and Smackdown is a B show compared to Raw if you ask me. It’s just dumb. It set up a three way match for the Rumble with Aj Styles versus Zayn and Owens. It’s nothing grand, and that’s the end.

Want to know why Smackdown is the B Show?

Well, on WWE.com, you didn’t get any pictures updated from the show, meanwhile Raw had hundreds of photographs. Funny how that is.

WWE Smackdown 6/17/2016 Results and Review Same Old BS

WWE Smackdown 6/17/2016 Results and Review

Here we go, the ever so popular B show continues, and boy does it smell like yesterday’s news. It’s honestly one of the worst shows that WWE produces, and it’s no wonder that guys like Solomonster don’t review it at all. Is anyone watching? Does anyone like the fake cheers and jeers that are piped in? I don’t know, I personally don’t.

The Highlight Reel returned and the guest, sigh, Dean Ambrose. This turned into a brawl after someone spilled coffee on Jericho’s new rug. Whatever, I’m tired of these stupid idiots.

Kofi Kingston won a fatal four way match

Members of each team from this weekend’s tag team title match were featured in this match, and it was Kofi Kingston that won after a lot of back and forth action. Enzo was on commentary with Xavier, and it worked out well on that end. Good fun match, but it was Kofi with the win, heading into the Money In The Bank event this weekend. Great commentary, more than the in ring work.

Baron Corbin defeated Zack Ryder

Ryder got buried, simple. Ziggler was on commentary and the two nearly went to blows.

Rusev defeated Kalisto

Rusev beat down Kalisto, and won. That’s it. A burial right? Fun.

Aj Styles defeated Xavier Woods

Ever wonder why Aj Styles, despite a bad back, continues to wrestle on EVERY show that the WWE pushes out? John Cena doesn’t. Roman Reigns doesn’t. Lame. Anyways, Styles wins this one, in a back and forth match with Xavier Woods. This just makes Styles look weak in my book. If Woods can go toe to toe against Styles, what does that mean for the match against Cena? Think about that for a moment. Styles can’t even put away Woods with ease. He won, but not looking too strong in defeat, just saying.

Cesaro, Sami Zayn, and Dean Ambrose defeated Kevin Owens, Alberto Del Rio and Chris Jericho

I feel like I’ve already seen this match 100 times before. Therefore this was fun, but nothing new. You can already picture what this match was like, no doubt. It was a fun, fast paced match, and definitely worth checking out, if you have nothing else to watch. I liked it enough, that’s for sure.

Overall Rating: 4 out of 10

WWE Monday Night Raw Results and Review 1/26/2016 The Dufus Son In Law Is The Champion

CM Punk said it right. When he left, us wrestling fans would be stuck with Vince McMahon’s dufus son in law and idiot daughter. That’s how we open Raw, and that’s what you’re going to be spoon fed going into Wrestlemania for a match between Triple H and possibly Roman Reigns. I don’t like it, and well, you probably don’t, but let’s make the best of it, right? Here are my thoughts on the HULU edition of Raw, since I don’t have the heart to see 3 hours of a show.

The show opens up with The Idiot Daughter, Vinnie Mac, and the Dufus Son In Law. What is this 1999? Oh well, positivity! Don’t be sour! Ugh.

Opening Segment

Triple H running down Roman Reigns to try and put him over is stupid. This is the same water treaded over and over again from the past. I know history repeats itself, but meh, meh is all I can say. With the sole exception of the fans cheering Trips and chanting Aj Styles. Styles, man, what a catch for the WWE if they don’t bury him with bad gimmicks, and getting pinned by The Big Slow…Show. Tired, that’s what this is.

Kevin Owens defeated Dolph Ziggler (burial)

Kevin Owens buried Dolph Ziggler. Ziggler and Owens had a very short match in which Owens just dominated for the most part. Owens didn’t sell last night’s Rumble beating he took or anything. It is what it is. He’s very good, but it pains me to no end to see Ziggler getting buried yet again. WWE likes to throw out shovels, I guess.

The Dudley Boyz defeated The Social Media Jobbers Outcasts Etc. (burial)

Way to bury more talent WWE. The Dudley Boyz win after Flor Rida has an interaction. Bo Dallas rapping was funny, but the short match that ensued was not. Terrible.

Aj Styles defeated Chris Jericho (sirjorgewwwe's Match of the Night)

This was not a 4 star classic. However, Styles absolutely blew away the critics. The missed Frog Splash had so much air, it was insane. The reversal finish roll up sequence, although short, was genius, and Jericho versus Styles can’t be over. These two are destined to have a serious amount of matches, with Styles getting the final rub, and probably his first loss to Jericho in the near future. Whatever the case may be, Aj Styles definitely showcased professionalism, and that he belongs in the WWE.

Sasha Banks versus Becky Lynch (No Contest)

Charlotte interfered in this match. But what got me was the commentary. JBL goes, “look at that hair Michael. It’s red, purple, the ref is bald, it’s like Muppets. Muppets in the ring”. Oh F YOU JBL! You just ruined the epic 2 minute or so match that the divas had. Ugh. Same old BS from WWE and their women’s division.

Bray Wyatt defeated Kane

Why hasn’t Kane retired? Bray Wyatt wins, Kane loses, this is a tired match we already saw 100 times before. The only thing that could be worse is if we saw Roman Reigns battle The Big Show again. This is a horrendous edition of Raw so far, and I’m trying to be positive.

The Rock Returning IS NOT AWESOME

The Rock is a part time, if that, former wrestler. He’s hijacked Wrestlemania main events, he’s beaten top stars, and now he’s back? I’m sick of this guy. You’re telling me that with so many up and coming talents on the WWE roster, you can’t give them more time? There’s SO many wrestlers that get no time at all, but instead, you bring the Rock out to talk. WWE is not a wrestling company. The Rock sucks, I don’t think he’s necessary for 2016, but hey, I’m just a dude on a random blog writing about fake fighting to an audience of nobody.

The New Day segment was cool, but having The Rock bury them is not the best way to put them over, or is it? Maybe it is, what do I know. This HULU edition is awful.

Dean Ambrose and Roman Reigns defeated Sheamus and Rusev

This is illogical. Reigns and Ambrose win, don’t get me wrong. It was expected. Even with Barrett and Alberto Del Rio at ring side, they win? What the hell? Ok, I’ll be ok with it. Rusev goes through the announce table, and then out comes the idiot daughter. This is where logic gets thrown out the window.

Earlier in the show, the premise was that the Authority would pick the main event participants based on who could impress them. Well, the main event for Fast Lane should be based on the participants in matches from the night, right? NOPE! It will be Brock Lesnar versus Dean Ambrose versus Roman Reigns. Oh who the hell cares at this point. Triple H will face Roman Reigns, and that’s that. Same old BS.

Just when you think it was over, consider this meme, because well, that’s what is happening right now. Not a great Raw, not a great post-Rumble event. Remember, this was the HULU version, I may have missed matches. So yeah.

WWE Royal Rumble 2016 or 1999 Results and Review

We are in a time machine aren’t we? If you read my Royal Rumble 2016 predictions, you know that all my picks were wrong. I still, for the life of me, cannot believe Daniel Bryan didn’t come out of the back to enter the ring at number 29 or 30. Whatever the case is, though, things got shaken up. Let’s get to the results and review, but first the review, then the results, because that’s how I do this thing now.

Mark Henry and Jack Swagger defeated Jobbers

The other teams in this match were nothing short of jobbers. This is an absolutely terrible opening. But, I will say this much, the guys put on a fun, fast paced match. The ending was clumsy. Henry and Swagger got a shot for the Royal Rumble. Oh boy. The best thing was that Damien Sandow was in this match, which was kind of cool.

Dean Ambrose defeated Kevin Owens – Intercontinental Championship Last Man Standing Match

This was one hell of a match. Owens and Ambrose took a beating, but it was Ambrose that really impressed with the falls and protection of Ambrose. Sick table bumps, and a 2 table dive to end this one, this match was incredible. It was a great opener, and definitely put on a showcase for fans and naysayers alike.

The New Day defeated The Usos – WWE Tag Team Championship Match

“What’s the New Day’s gimmick?” – My Wife. Yeah, what is their gimmick? This match was ok, but it’s painfully obvious that The Usos were outmatched, outclassed, and out wrestled. Third man antics or not, this was a match that painfully showed off that the tag division is still diminished. It was an ok match.

Kalisto Defeated Alberto Del Rio – United States Championship Match

Boring match, but it’s nice to see Kalisto get a push. Del Rio is ripped, man, I wish I had that kind of muscle mass. Oh well.

Charlotte defeated Becky Lynch

This was a good overall match, but with Ric Flair interfering, and The Boss showing up at the end, this was a bit mired. Lynch can really wrestle, but Charlotte’s antics are going to cause a shake up in this division. Then again, who knows. I liked this match, but it was not as good as the NXT Brooklyn match that The Boss had.

Triple H won the 2016 Royal Rumble Match

Let’s talk about AJ MOTHER EFFIN STYLES! Holy crap! AJ STYLES! AJ STYLES! This was an incredible reaction. The rest? Well, it was good to see things here. However, Triple H winning and Roman Reigns getting another loss is definitely not a great one. Let's talk game changers though, since we know that Triple H lost.

Chris Jericho’s 50 minute run! Holy crap, I thought Jericho may have won this match after seeing his incredible performance.

Brock Lesnar and Brown Snowman. Snowman wouldn’t go down. Lesnar did a lot of hard style hits, and took down a lot of the Wyatt Family, but he got dumped out.

AJ Styles, holy crap. Holy Crap!

Roman Reigns is no Steve Austin.

Kevin Owens against the world, holy crap. Watch this again just to see him wrestle. Incredible.

That’s the end, that’s the end.

WWE Royal Rumble 2016 Results

Mark Henry & Jack Swagger def. The Dudley Boyz, Darren Young & Damien Sandow and The Ascension (Fatal 4-Way Tag Team Match to Qualify for the Royal Rumble Match)
Dean Ambrose (c) def. Kevin Owens (Intercontinental Championship Last Man Standing Match)
The New Day (c) def. The Usos (WWE Tag Team Championship Match)
Kalisto def. Alberto Del Rio (c) (United States Championship Match)
Charlotte (c) def. Becky Lynch (Divas Championship Match)
Triple H won the 2016 Royal Rumble Match for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship

Overall, this was a B rating, with some disappointment coming through at the end. I wanted Aj Styles to win, or Daniel Bryan to show up. That’s it. Good night! Or whatever. I’m getting HULU tomorrow as a result of the Rumble, that’s for sure.
