First and foremost I want to apologize to those very few people that came to this site looking for a TNA Impact review. I have family in town and couldn’t get the review done. However, I am back with he first Smackdown after the Royal Rumble right here.
The show opens up with Matt Hardy in ring…to a chorus of BOOOs. I’d boo the crap out of him too, such a terrible turn of events. Hardy says that Jeff is no longer his brother.
Whatever.
R Truth defeated The Kendrick
Brian Kendrick gave Truth a good cheap shot up front, but didn’t win overall. The match was short but not good at all. It was actually just like the last time they fought, only this time Ezekiel Jackson was barred from ringside, so no one cheap shotted him after the match. Standard match for Truth, and Kendrick loses yet again.
MVP defeated Chavo Guerrero
I thought Chavo had this match sewn up with the Frog Splash, but somehow MVP managed to move out of the way in time to get a win! That’s right, MVP wins again! Chavo landed on his stomach and face, and lost yet again.
Umaga defeated Jimmy Wang Yang
Yang is still employed? What the hell? This is the worst match ever. Umaga wins, did you really think anything else would happen? This sucks.
The Undertaker defeated Mark Henry
Standard Undertaker, Mark Henry match. Seriously, how many times did we see this match in recent years? Well, Mark Henry fought off the Undertaker for the most part and Undertaker got mad and started beating Mark Henry and eventually made him tap out to the triangle choke hold.
The Big Show defeated Festus
The Big Show beat up Festus in a quick match up, yet again.
Triple H defeated The Great Khali, and Kozlov
Triple H beat the other two guys. I got tired and nearly fell asleep. Nice to see that Triple H is still holding down the roster.

WWE Smackdown 11/21/08 Review and Results
Just a heads up, I’m going to be gone next week in Moscow Idaho and will try my hardest to blog through Survivor series and the rest of the free television shows, but if I can not, I’ll make sure to tell you guys, instead of letting you guys drown. So without further ado, here we go, tonight’s smackdown live, well taped…from somewhere out there.
We open the show up with R Truth in the crowd rappin, and all I can say is “What’s up!!!” You know that’s addicting right? I know it is for me.
Matt Hardy & R Truth defeated Shelton Benjamin & Mark Henry
This match up was not half bad, but it seemed like overkill to see Hardy facing Mark Henry yet again. This seems so stupid to me, as the two have been battling everytime I see them on television and I’m getting sick of the match up. I’m also getting sick of the R Truth feud with Shelton Benjamin, they never seem to resolve that, and I believe they are trying to push the title onto R Truth down the road. We’ll see what goes down. This match started off a little slow, and that was ok, but it seemed like they were just setting up for the hot tag. The match took off towards the end, and R Truth landed his scissors kick for the win, meanwhile Hardy and Henry battled outside the ring. The match seemed a little too longer, and the crowd was quiet towards the end, but they cheered after it was all said and done. R Truth wins by pinning Shelton Benjamin!
Miz & Morrison defeated Jesse & Festus
This match up was all Festus with Morrison and Miz getting worked over. This match seemed very easy for the good guys, but Morrison hit the ringside bell and Festus became an average idiot, and he just let Miz and Morrison win. This match was a poor example of a wrestling match, and it’s a stupid gimmick if you ask me. It’s just stupid, I hated this match, and while I think Miz and Morrison aren’t half bad, they didn’t need to really cheat to win this one, they should be the better tag team. Oh well, things went their way this time.
Jeff Hardy defeated Triple H
Triple H and Jeff Hardy once again squared off. The last few times these guys met, Triple H beat him decisively. This time around Hardy was definitely doing everything he could to try to beat HHH. It looked as though HHH was once again going to hold the roster down, however, Hardy turned things around with a catapult and Russian leg sweep. We then cut to commercial. After the break, HHH turned things around and was swiftly holding down the roster by beating up Jeff Hardy easily. Of course, this wasn’t the end of Jeff Hardy, he hit two Whispers in the Wind and tried to mount an offensive comeback on Triple H, and was looking great towards the end of this match up. He didn’t seem winded or anything and Triple H looked like he finally was going to give the young guy the rub he needed. Kozlov ran down and interfered with the match, and Triple H was immediately rolled up for the loss. That’s right, Jeff Hardy wins via roll up over Triple HUH (no I didn’t misspell it). I guess Triple H is finally NOT holding down the roster any more huh? This match deserved more than what it got, lame.
The Brian Kendrick & Ezekiel Jackson defeated The Colon Brothers
Looks like Kendrick is back in tag team hell, as he teams up with Ezekiel to face the Colon brothers. Kendrick and Ezekiel beat the crap out of the Colon brothers, and it’s ridiculous. Seriously, these two just steam rolled through the tag team champions! The title’s mean nothing I guess, this is just stupid. Seriously, why would they randomly squash the champs? That is just so lame, I don’t like that crap, seriously, that’s so lame, let’s get some legit tag teams in there and have a real tag team division! This match up is not half bad, but come on, it’s just lame and well…who cares right?
James Mason defeated MVP
This was a jobber match. MVP wins one, but not a very impressive contender at all. But of course things aren’t going well for MVP and he loses after interference from the Great Khali, and it’s over…it’s all over.
The Bella Twins defeated Victoria & Natalya
This was stupid. The fans were not in on this at all. They were silent for most of the match. The match didn’t have that much wrestling and after a quick “switch” the twins one with a back roll up pin on Victoria. This was a short match and a stupid way to include the divas into the show. They should respect these women more than just to throw away a match. Plus, no championship defense, nor a mention that the belt exists at all and that’s stupid.
The final portion of Smackdown was not a match at all. It was just Big Show and Undertaker trying to make something out of nothing before their big match up this weekend. It’s not going to be the most triumphant of showdowns if you ask me, but what can ya do? With the other alternative being TNA, you have no choice. Oh well, things should be interesting, no?

WWE Smackdown 10/17/08 Review and Results
Once again my affiliate of My Network screwed me over and I couldn’t get to see ALL of smackdown. I joined the show at 7:39 pm pst and it was R. Rtruth going against MVP.
R. Truth defeated MVP
I joined this match with R. Truth in full control of MVP, but that was quickly turned back towards MVP’s favor. He missed the drive by kick, and R Truth landed his scissors kick for the clean victory over MVP. Once again the wwe has buried MVP, and it’s sad to see such a good talent getting squashed like this. MVP loses clean to R. Truth!
I’m going to have to start managing my time better, so that I don’t miss any of Smackdown, what a load of crap, MY network sucks.
The new Kizarny character is already bugging me.
Ezekiel Jackson defeated Super Crazy
When this match started I immediately yawned. This couldn’t be good for Super Crazy at all. Crazy got squashed hard and fast with what looked like The Rock Bottom. This match was no longer than 2 minutes long. Way to bury your talent wwe, way to go, Super Crazy is most likely on his way out.
Undertaker and The Great Khali fought to a no contest
Wow, way to waste my time WWE. This match was all Khali, and right when things started to turn around, Big Show ran in with an interference, and beat down the Undertaker. Show then grabbed a chair and wanted Khali to hit Undertaker with it, and after some verbal assaults from Show to Khali, Khali left the ring and didn’t look back.
Post match, Undertaker hit Big Show with a chair in the back, knocking him outside of the ring.
Maria won a diva invitational of sorts
This divas match was weird. At a lot of points in this match there was a lot of standing around with dumb looks at the hard camera. Maria dressed as Poison Ivy was kind of hot. The rest of the match was nothing major, they all attacked each other in the corner trying to get the fuzzy dice. The goal was to get the dice, that were hanging on a pole, and they would get a shot at the diva’s title.
Maria looked hot, that’s for sure.
Jesse & Festus defeated Kenny Dykstra & Ryan Braddock
Festus changing thanks to the bell is a tired gag to me. I’m sick of seeing it and I don’t like it any longer. Seeing Kenny still in the wwe just reminds me of the old Spirit Squad gang, and sometimes wish there were more stables in the wwe right now. Ryan Braddock looks like a younger, smaller Bradshaw. I wasn’t the only one that thought this match kind of sucked, the audience was dead through most of it. Some moves from Festus did prompt a few “oooohs” but for the most part this crowd was not 100% behind this match up. Festus wins this match with a flapjack on Dykstra, and I for one am NOT surprised with the results.
The WWE Tag division hasn’t been this boring in a LONG time. Trust me, it can’t get any worse.
Kozlov defeated Jeff Hardy
Kozlov looked good in this match, and I couldn’t help but think of him as a new “Goldberg” like wrestler. Stepping into this match undefeated was definitely a big thing, especially since he has yet to face a challenger that posed a serious threat to him. Kozlov took control of this match early on and was seriously throwing Hardy some heavy hitting moves. Before the commercial break he was throwing Hardy shoulder first into the ringside pole! After the commercial break we were still getting Kozlov beating Hardy, and it wasn’t looking too good for the high flyer. Things really went sour after Kozlov dropped Hardy with his patented head butt, and this match was over. The match had Hardy losing clean, which baffles me greatly. Will Triple H bury Kozlov? I’m not sure how this is going to turn out, but I hope they don’t just bury Kozlov and then have Triple H claim he’s the greatest, I’m not sure if I want Kozlov winning the title, but I know that I don’t want this to turn out the way I think it will. Hardy losing clean is weird to me.

WWE Smackdown 10/10/08 Review and Results
Here we go, a big night in WWE history, and I was expecting big things, but I'm not sure if WWE likes me or you very much, as you will see.
The new smackdown music and intro sucks. It's annoying and lackluster, what a horrible piece of crap. I hate this piece of crap intro. WWE you've outdone yourselves in the crap department with this new intro. Sad, but true.
Vickie opening the show got a lot of heat! It was awesome, I was booing from my mom's house here in Los Angeles, Ca.
Brie Bella defeated Natalya
Somewhat impressive strength from Natalya, but this match was boring. Brie Bella used her twin to win this one. Hornswoggle came out and chased out Victoria, while Natalya was distracted, Brie or her twin jumped in and gave Natalya a crucifix to pin and it was over. Brie Bella wins a poor excuse for a women's wrestling match.
R. Truth defeated Shelton Benjamin (non title match)
Here we go, it's about time, R Truth is getting a shot at Shelton Benjamin! I hate to admit it, but I like "what's up" and am caught singing along quite often. This match should be a precursor to Truth getting the U.S championship later in the month and/or year. The match started with Benjamin really putting the boots to Truth, even giving some stiff shots to the face. He was controlling every aspect of this match early on, and it really looked like he was mad at Truth for stealing his thunder. Benjamin threw Truth outside and tried to really slow down the contender, and tried to prove that he was the "Gold" standard. Truth got back into this match after a back suplex, and slowly started to break down Shelton Benjamin, really making the gold standard fight for a second wind. I thought for sure Truth had this match won with the corkscrew flying forearm, which was really impressive, but it only got a two count. Truth kept fighting, and eventually rolled up Benjamin into a small package like maneuver for the three count! Benjamin gets beaten, and most likely will have to put the title on the line later on this month against R. Truth!
Jeff Hardy defeated MVP
They are continually burying MVP and just like last week, I was under the impression that they would once again force MVP to lose. MVP used to be a viable heel in the wwe, but lately he's been fed to all comers, and is like the Tommy Dreamer of Smackdown as of late. Sure he gets some higher profile matches, but he is quickly buried by Triple H, and others lately. It's a sad downfall for MVP. Jeff Hardy hasn't really done a whole lot either, just losing to everyone. Gregory Helms came on the screen in his bubble and said that the P in MVP means "Please" as in "Please win a match, I'm just saying".
This match had Hardy in control early on, and he was proving that he was still a major player in the Smackdown crew. He was taking it to MVP and MVP really had to regroup at the commercial break. After the break, Hardy was still at it, but MVP gave Hardy one heck of a counter. While MVP was in the corner and getting set up for the special hardy dropkick with the top rope as leverage, MVP put his legs up, sending Hardy flying across the dream and the tables turned fast! MVP swooped in with some rest holds, forcing Hardy to slow down and just try to survive the endless submissions of MVP. MVP had things going his way until out of the blue he throws up a Whisper in the Wind and the tides turn towards Hardy's favor yet again! Hardy gets to the top rope and hits the Swanton Bomb, pins MVP and wins clean! MVP again loses, Hardy is back on the winning road!
The Colon's and Jesse & Festus defeated Ryan Braddock, Ryder, Hawkins, and Kenny Dykstra
This match only really served to bury Kenny, as far as I'm concerned. The Colon's were good, but it was Festus who really cleaned house in this match up and picked up the win. This match was NOT a technical classic, and overall was boring to mee. I didn't really like how horrible this one was executed, but what I did enjoy was seeing Kenny get beat down by the giant Festus. Not a bad ending, and overall, one of my favorite moments of Smackdown thus far.
The Great Khali defeated three jobbers
Great Khali defeated three guys. Lame. Nothing to see here folks, lame.
Triple H vs. The Big Show went to a NO Contest
The final match at smackdown didn't really end properly. Seriously, this could have been great, but things went awry when Triple H interfered, causing things to go downhill for anyone that spent time watching this smackdown event.
Overall this was a pretty dumb Smackdown.

Smackdown Results 9/19/08 and Review
We get right to the action this week on Smackdown, and we opened up with a women’s match for the Divas title. Live from Nashville, TN. Smackdown has a somewhat cold opening.
Michelle McCool defeated Maryse
Standard divas match, McCool did most of the damage on this match, and she is improving a little bit, however this wasn’t that great. I feel that the divas are trying way too hard here, and they still seem a little green to me. I admit, this wasn’t as bad as I thought it was going to be, and it’s nice to see that the divas can carry a singles match on television and not just a tag team match up. This isn’t THAT good, but it was watchable, that’s for sure.
Ryan Braddock vs Festus No Contest
Jesse and Festus once again proved that their gimmick is more than just a bell ring away from going the distance. They tied up Braddock, after knocking him out, and were planning on shipping him long distance, as they covered him in bubble wrap and duct taped him to a dolly. This was a throwaway match, but it was cool to see that the team of Festus and Jesse are starting to get themselves into serious storylines. Even if it does smell like the old Repo Man gimmick to me; I’m assuming that there was a dq finish, thanks to the knock out blow.
R Truth defeated Shelton Benjamin
R Truth came out to some lame song. Shelton Benjamin seriously looked mad this whole match. Truth took a lot of punishment in this match, and I’m not sure where they were going with this one. Benjamin really put the boots to Truth, and was even pulling out some new movies, or at least moves he hasn’t been used to using, like the backbreaker to stretch/rest hold. The crowd was pretty much dead for a long time, and then came alive at the last moments of this match when Truth reversed a German suplex into a roll up, and Benjamin is back to jobbing to the new guys, as he loses cleanly to TRUTH! The championship was not on the line, so things weren’t that great for Truth, but it was definitely great to see someone other than the normal trend get pushed on Smackdown. Not a great match, but good enough to make me pay attention to Smackdown. I’m not totally sold on R. Truth but he’s doing really well since coming back to WWE.
Jeff Hardy defeated Brian Kendrick
Brian Kendrick was really doing a great job putting himself over in this match, Hard was taking a lot of punishment at the hands of Kendrick. Kendrick is like a pitbull in there when the bell rings, and he really is a lot better than I have ever gave him credit for. I don’t agree with J.R in that he reminds me of a young Shawn Michaels, but moreover he reminds me of a Dean Malenko mixed with WCW Lionheart Chris Jericho. He’s got the ground game down pat, but he can drop you with some amazing missile dropkicks too, in fact He reminds me more of the lionheart era Chris Jericho than anyone else from times past. Right when I was going to peg Brian Kendrick for the win, Hardy counters Kendrick’s offense with a backslide pin and Kendrick’s shoulders and feet were nearly touching and he couldn’t kick out at all! Jeff Hardy wins a technical match up with a great backslide pin, and if you missed this match up, you missed a good one, that’s for sure.
Carlito’s Cabana
Primo and Carlito were great on the mic in this one, and out came the Edgekins. The Tag champions tried to talk to Carlito and Primo but were horrible. They ask for a tag title match and they get it, but not tonight, they will get it next week on Smackdown! Carlito then asked for someone to come to ringside and pack things up, which prompted Jesse and Festus to come down with a roll of bubble wrap and a dolly! The ring then gets cleared and the bell rings, prompting Festus to get crazy!
The Great Khali defeated Scotty Goldman
This new guy is none other than Colt Cabana, indie superstar. I'm not sure why they squashed him, but it happened. The Great Khali beat the snot out of Scotty Goldman, and it wasn't pretty. One thing that I never understood is how wrestlers that are big names in the independent circuit and make a great living (well an ok living) go to the WWE only to get buried by the monsters. Case in point, Scotty Goldman's losing streak, getting beatdown this week by none other than The Great Khali. This match wasn't worth it. How long before we see the following: "The Wwe has come to terms with the release of Scotty Goldman."
One thing that is great is that Kozlov is going to have to face Great Khali next week on Smackdown!
Triple H defeated MVP
MVP put a lot of effort into trying to make this match worthwhile, however Triple H seemed to be working on only 2nd gear. He wasn't the usual Triple H, and he was just waiting his opponent out, and doing very little to produce offense. The most he did in the initial ongoings of this match was a nice delivered drop toe hold, but that only followed into a rest hold head lock. MVP most likely had to just take it, since reports online have stated that he's in the doghouse of sorts. If he was in the doghouse it showed in this match as Triple H had a lot of easy moments, and basically had to just put his foot out and MVP had to bump to it. MVP did a good job not showing too much frustration, but there were moments in the match where he seemed upset at how it was all going down. It wasn't a squash match though, as MVP did work on Triple H's left arm for a good portion of this match up. It was short lived though as Triple H turned the tables around and beat MVP for the clean pinfall. Post match, Kozlov knocks out Triple H and once again he proves that he is tougher than the majority of newer guys that are merely getting squashed for no apparent reason.
Overall, a good enough Smackdown to end the week on a high note. I liked watching Smackdown as there was a lot more wrestling than the other shows this week. There was also a great storyline tie in, and not too much talking, and while the show did feel dead at times, it was good to see the lower card get some attention including Brian Kendrick and dare I say...Scotty Goldman. Smackdown this week was better than the rest of the wrestling that I saw, but that's not saying a whole lot.

WWE Smackdown 8/15/2008 Review Summerslam Cometh
Due to some traffic and a slow moving line at Best Buy, I didn’t catch the first 45 minutes of Smackdown. So I’m going to be reviewing what I did see, and talking about the results as well. Sorry…I know, I know, I’m slacking. But I’ll make it up to you, all 3 readers, by reviewing WWE Summerslam 2008 this weekend as I finally saved enough money to get a ppv from the WWE. So expect a full ppv review this Sunday, right after Summerslam concludes. Until then, enjoy the Smackdown Review here!
The Brian Kendrick defeated Scotty Goldman
Scotty Goldman had a lot of charisma, and they had a good promo for him too. He played up the comedic angle, and he wasn’t half bad. I have never seen this guy before, and he actually put on an ok set of moves, considering he’s just a jobber for the most part. Kendrick landed The Kendrick for the win, but I was somewhat impressed by Scotty Goldman’s debut. I highly doubt he’s going to be going to be featured forever on the show. He really is one step above the jobber level. Ezekiel dropped Goldman after the match up with a shoulder block…innovative huh?
Triple H Interview:
Triple H’s forehead looked really bad. He’s getting old, and it’s not looking all that great. He was cutting the average HHH promo, and Kenny Dykstra comes out and interrupts him. Kenny, from the spirit squad, and the two are going to wrestling later tonight? Sounds stupid if you ask me, but what do I know? Triple H needs to drop the title, there is absolutely NO reason for him to be the champion right now.
The Great Khali In Ring Segment:
The Great Khali got on the mic and just started rambling. The crowd was yelling what the whole time, that was awesome, but I don’t like this. I wish there was another way for Khali to garner some heat. This in ring promo was stupid to me. I was really bored and wasn’t sure why the wwe is trying to get heel heat with Khali and his mouth piece. I hope Khali wins this weekend, Triple H sucks.
Triple H defeated Kenny Dykstra
Did anyone in the world believe that Kenny Dykstra could possibly defeat Triple H? I have no doubt that Triple H will never do the job to Kenny. Kenny did look impressive, I do give him that, and Triple H did look surprised, and I liked the way this match up began. This wasn’t half bad actually, and Kenny has improved since his Spirit Squad days. Triple H of course wasn’t going to let Kenny get in too many shots, and this match was over before it even got unhinged. Triple H made quick work of Kenny and Dykstra is reduced to nothing more than a jobber. So much for pushing new talent huh? Triple wins with the pedigree, and I highly doubt that anyone is surprised. If you are genuinely surprised by the result of this match, please stop reading my wwe blog, please, you’re obviously an idiot. Triple H looks horrible now, and Dykstra didn’t get much of a chance.
Post Match Triple H beat down Khali’s interpreter. Khali didn’t do a whole lot initially, but Triple H kept taunting him and in came Khali! I do not know how the WWE is going to get Triple H to beat such a huge guy, and even Undertaker lost to Khali at one point. Triple H hit Khali with a bunch of moves and was trying to hit the pedigree, but it just wasn’t working out all that well. Eventually, Triple H knocked Khali over the top rope and on came Motorhead to play his theme. (Not literally) This post match thing was stupid, and I’m sure diehard Triple H fans ate it up, but this is just cheap to me. Triple H took about a month off and didn’t promote his own match, Khali didn’t do much to garner attention, and now it is being shoved down our throats? Give me a break. The match was stupid, and if Khali doesn’t walk out the champion, I’m going to be upset.
The Big Show defeated Ryan Braddock
The Big Show is still employed? What the heck? He’s laughing and smiling? I thought he quit for a while? I don’t like The Big Show anymore, and I don’t want the big show laughing, smiling or looking at all interested with the fans. He’s not even that huge anymore, he’s been beaten before, he’s been made to look lame, and now he’s being force fed to us? The show hasn’t been relevant in a long time.
9:13 pm and we have a new jobber? Seriously? What is smackdown doing? They are putting in these jobbers, although they have some style, but come on! They just fired like 8 guys, and they hire these chumps? Seriously? The match wasn’t all that great, and why would it be? (to quote Don West) This match was horrible, and really predictable. The Big Show threw Braddock from end to end, then landed a huge right hand, for the three count. This wasn’t even a match, it was just a mauling, Big Show nearly killed this jobber. Why? The Show is lame. I can’t believe this is tonight’s Smackdown. Jobber central, this is stupid. Man, I’m so upset with the presentation on Smackdown right now. I know they didn’t want to hurt their Summerslam participants, but this is the best they could come up with? Seriously? I hated this Smackdown up to this point.
MVP Interview Segment:
MVP is gold on the mic! He pulls another great promo, and looks like he’s really into this whole program with Jeff Hardy. I’m surprised that the WWE is allowing MVP to basically freestyle through these segments, and shining! I haven’t seen this much charisma on the mic in a long time!
Victoria and Vickie Segment:
Victoria is so hot! I wish I could meet her and have a drink or two…or something else. Man, her boobs were just there…I’m sorry…this was weird. Vickie started getting frantic and Victoria rolled her away. Victoria was looking good, as a male, I couldn’t stop looking at her…I’m sorry, but she is a good wrestler and she is looking as good as ever. She must work out huh? I better stop before I get in trouble.
Vickie ends up going to a limo backstage, and right when she is going to get in, Edge shows up! This is lame too. I’m tired of this backstage crap.
Vladamir Kozlov defeated Festus
Finally, Kozlov is going to get some competition. I was waiting for this to happen, and the WWE finally gave Vladamir Kozlov some competition. The bell rang and Festus really brought a lot to Vladamir. This match looked stiff, and I’m not sure if that’s what Kozlov had planned, it almost looked like he was sucker punched in the face, and he then snapped. He was taking some liberties out there for sure, and Festus was hanging in there. After the initial brawl that opened this match up, the match went into “big guy” mode and there was a lot of rest holds and random power moves accomplished. I was rooting for Festus in this one, as I finally saw Kozlov looking weak, and thought for sure it was time to see his streak lose! This match got me hooked towards the end with the near falls and Kozlov looking genuinely upset, his face completely red and frustration written all over it. Festus was in complete control, and I thought for sure Festus had it, but as Festus leaped off his feat, Kozlov timed the head butt perfectly for the win.
This was the best match of the week. Kozlov, even with little fan reaction, made a believer out of me with the perfectly timed head butt and Festus really put a good match together. This match ruled! Give Kozlov more competition, he is intense!
Final Edge and Vickie Segment:
I was half asleep during this one. I’m not really buying all this edge stuff. It was good for a little bit, but now it’s just getting repetitive and tired. The show ended like last week. Edge terrorizing Vickie, which will most likely lead to Vickie orchestrating Edge’s loss this weekend. Apparently I didn’t miss much of Smackdown this week.
WWE Smackdown 8/15/2008 Quick Results:
Jeff Hardy def. United States Champion Shelton Benjamin - DQ - United States Championship Match
Natalya & Maryse def. Divas Champion Michelle McCool & Maria
The Brian Kendrick def. Scotty Goldman
Triple H def. Kenny Dykstra
Big Show def. Ryan Braddock
Vladimir Kozlov def. Festus
The Kozlov match was well worth it. I loved that match and thought it was Kozlov’s strongest outing. I am glad to see that they are starting to give him more competition. I hope this leads into a stronger push and maybe even some high profile matches with some better competition. He doesn’t need to be great on the mic, he can return a certain element of wrestling prowess to the ring, that has been missing a long time now.
This post was brought to you by the Summerslam Box Set, 20 Discs, all previous Summerslams on dvd in one box set, only $145.99, not half bad eh? Pick it up and see what you've been missing from the Summerslam's past.
