WWE Smackdown Live September 18, 2018 Results and Review Still The B Show Today

Rusev Day is Done - Source WWE
The show begins with talking. The Miz starts with MIz TV and ugh, so tired of talking on WWE shows.

The Miz called out Daniel Bryan and that forced Bryan to run down and beat up the MIz, only to have him hit Miz and drive him into Maryse. This thing just became a blood feud, which is an interesting element overall. This little focus was interesting, and Bryan seemed to be saddened by how this worked out. This thing got emotional, and Maryse did a stretcher job….nope, she was playing possum and The Miz attacked only to knock Maryse off the apron, and then Bryan knocking Miz out of the ring to the crowd going all out.

Cesaro defeated Kofi Kingston

A great back and forth match, with a lot of action, and good overall flow, we got Cesaro showing off just how good of a wrestler he can be. Kofi is great too, and he threw down some great moments, as he got the L on this one. This could very well be the best match in the WWE this week, so I had fun watching it go down. Cesaro is a beast, yo, a true beast.

Shinsuke Nakamura defeated Rusev

A distraction roll up ends a match that was actually pretty good. But since it ended with a distraction roll up and this is the end of RUSEV day, I give up. I’m just going to throw papers in the air and give up. Aiden English after the fact just starts beating up Rusev, why? I don’t get it. This is stupid. Meh. Meh!

Aj Styles defeated Andrade Cien Almas

Almas should have won this match. He was fresh, he didn’t have a match Sunday, and he was just a better wrestler here, as Aj Styles sold his injuries from the match he had on Sunday. While he did a great deal of selling, Almas didn’t get run over, but the match didn’t go the way I would’ve booked it. Almas did put on a great deal of offense, so it wasn’t like this match sucked, but it definitely seemed to be telegraphed to get Aj Styles a strong win again. Styles did great here, and Almas gave him a good match too, but it should’ve gone the way of Almas.

After the match, Samoa Joe attacked and beat up Styles and that was that, well, not really, the two would brawl.

Asuka defeated One of the Iconics

I should learn their name. But when you give me a minute or 2 minute match, you don’t give me much time to learn or care about any team. Asuka wins, in a joke of a match.

Becky Lynch Coronation

This ended in a brawl between Flair and Lynch. It was ok. It’s lame that the only story lines that the WWE can come up with is friends turning on one another out of jealousy etc.

Smackdown left A LOT of talent off the show, and well, that makes it the B show yet again. No R Truth, no Sanity, no Tye Dillinger, and no lots of people on the roster.

WWE Smackdown Live March 14, 2017 results and Review The McMahon Train

Shane McMahon Nearly Died Again - SRC WWE.Com
Everyone keeps harping on this notion that Smackdown is the better show. Nope. Once again, this show felt like a lighter version of Raw, with more talking segments than I can remember, and a lot of stupid elements. They’ve got a crowd of tens of thousands of people booing Daniel Bryan, they have a part timer, if you can call him that in Shane McMahon, and you have a floundering mid card of forgettable idiots. This night on Smackdown, you had to really want to watch it, because if you didn’t, too bad, they were going to shove you into a lot of garbage. It’s hard to be positive about a show full of boredom.

WWE Smackdown Live March 14, 2017 Review

AJ Styles tried to call out Shane McMahon, but guess what? He wasn’t there. Daniel Bryan interrupted, and that started the show with Styles going to the ring and cutting a promo about how he needed to talk to McMahon about lost opportunities. Sound familiar? This is exactly how Raw starts each week.

Becky Lynch defeated Natalya

They keep making Natalya look like a chump. She just went through Nikki Bella, putting on some great matches with the so called Queen of Strong Style, and yet here she is, losing to Lynch? Lynch is supposed to have momentum? But yet she wins here and then gets punked out Carmella? Whatever. Good match though, not as good as the ending of last week’s tag match though. I thought Natalya should’ve done the release German suplex again if you ask me.

John Cena and Nikki Bella were on the MIZ TV Segment

This was dumb. We are going to get Miz get buried at Wrestlemania, right? I don’t want to see this at all. Miz is doing well as a company man, but he is wasted in this feud.

Mickie James defeated Alexa Bliss

Do the champions ever look strong on these shows? Bliss loses to James, the same woman that couldn’t beat Becky Lynch in a 2 out of 3 falls match, and whom gets punked out all the time. This makes no logical sense. How do you make a champion look strong if they lose all the non-title matches?

AJ Styles throws Shane through a glass car window

This segment was ok, I guess. Aj Styles has this incredible aggression now? This is going to lead to a match that I don’t want to see, you don’t want to see, and shouldn’t be on the show at all.

Mojo Rawley defeated Dolph Ziggler by count out

What the hell is this? Ziggler quits? Good riddance. He loses by count out, and Rawley is left to be hyped by himself.

Bray Wyatt and Orton did a lot of talking

This was dumb. I didn’t want to see this. Orton talked about how he was the Viper and he was a slippery snake, and Wyatt rubbed himself with dirt. Who gives a flying F?

The Usos defeated American Alpha

This should’ve stole the show. Instead, WWE decided to keep cutting away from the match to show Shane McMahon, then commercials, and the match was a boring one. The Usos won via pinfall again, beating the champions in a non-title match. American Alpha has amazing talent, but the WWE is not giving them any favors having to job out to the Usos here.

The very last moments of the show had Shane McMahon saying that Aj Styles had an opponent for Wrestlemania. It leads to them fighting, I’m sure. But remember, earlier in the show Daniel Bryan fired Aj Styles.

What a cluster of terrible elements. The wrestling was shortened, Mauro wasn’t in the booth, and this was just Raw Lite. This year’s road to Wrestlemania may be the worst in History folks, and this was terrible, if you ask me, simple as that.

WWE Raw 1/17/11 Results

Santino & Kozlov defeated The USOS
John Morrison defeated Daniel Bryan
Randy Orton defeated Dolph Ziggler
Natalya defeated Maryse
Mark Henry won a battle royal
Cm Punk defeated John Cena via dq

WWE Raw 1/17/11 Review

The show started with John Cena coming back to take the mic and get the crowd going. They are completely nuts for him, which is good and bad.

Cena got on the mic and it was interesting enough, and then Miz came out and helped antagonize the Miz. That prompted CM Punk and Nexus to come down and try to beat up Cena, but that prompted the tag champs to run down and beat up Nexus.

We found out via the general manager that Nexus can't interfere in the match later tonight.

We then got a tag team title match that we've seen one hundred times before.

Santino & Kozlov defeated The USOS

This was a quick match up with predictable moments, and an ending that we've seen before. Santino hit the Cobra and it was done. The tag champs retain the titles.

John Morrison defeated Daniel Bryan

A good, albeit short, match between these two. There were some great back and forth moments in this match, but nothing too complicated. Morrison looked like he was going to lose this one with Bryan nearly getting his finishing submission, but Morrison was able to squeeze out a victory by knocking out bryan with a knee to the chin. A fast match, a good quality television match up, but it did nothing for either man.

Randy Orton defeated Dolph Ziggler

This match was interesting, and further exposed the fact that there is NO need for a brand split. Ortonw as all over Ziggler, and it was painfully obvious that Orton was going over, at least to me. Ziggler took some shots though, and it wasn't all "Viper". Ziggler held his own against Orton and was actually moving forward at one point to reversing what my original thought was. Ziggler has been on top of his game for a while, and it was nice to see him interact with the main event talent of Raw. Ziggler had this one sewn up but out of nowhere Orton hit an RKO and that was the end of that.

Post match, within moments of the 3 count, The Miz and Alex Riley hit the ring and beat the snot out of Randy Orton.

Natalya defeated Maryse

This was an easy match for Natalya. Maryse didn't even get much offense in.

Mark Henry won a Battle Royal

There was a small sized Battle Royal and it seemed like Henry was an unstoppable force. He is being billed as the guy that will win the Rumble, but of course he won't win.

Alberto Del Rio came out and cut a promo about how he's going to win the Rumble.

Cm Punk defeated John Cena via dq

This match had main event feel all over it, and it was interesting on paper. Cena started this match with a lot of momentum, and I was impressed to see how much weight Punk has lost. He's a slimmer punk, and dare I say, faster? He's lost some tone for sure, and it definitely looks like he's a shell of his former self, which isn't a bad thing. This match was amazing, it seriously was looking to be one of the better matches in Raw history, and even though Cena's offense was dated, it didn't matter. It absolutely didn't matter, because Punk was given some good timing and great amount of motions to work through.

The match got odd, when a guy that looked a lot like a younger Batista showed up and decked Punk. I kid you not, this guy was as big as Batista if not bigger, and he decked Punk, in a very odd moment.

The match was thrown out, I guess Cena loses via dq? I don't know. Then Nexus runs down and wow...I like this, as the new Nexus is now bigger than ever.

This is an insane ending, I'm not even sure what to say. If you missed it, you really did in fact miss it.

WWE Monday Night Raw 12/20/10 Results and Review

WWE Monday Night Raw 12/20/10 Results

Melina defeated Alicia Fox and Eve
Daniel Bryan defeated William Regal
Santino & Tamina defeated Ted Dibiase & Maryse
John Cena defeated Dolph Ziggler
Jerry Lawler, Randy Orton, and John Morrison defeated The Miz, Alex Riley & Sheamus

WWE Monday Night Raw 12/20/10 Review

One night after WWE TLC 2010 we get Monday Night Raw, and The King said it best: We are here around Christmas and we start the show with The Grinch. Yep. The Miz was getting booed out of the building, and for anyone that saw the show last night, you know why The Miz is really hated right now.

The Miz got into the ring and started talking trash and what not. He kept rambling when the lights went out and Alex Riley came out as the "Ghost of Christmas Past"...I kid you not.

Michael Cole came out as another ghost...I kid you not. They were doing A Christmas Carol. I couldn't believe this. I liked the Muppet one though.

John Morrison came out and confronted the Miz. That's right, John Morrison came out and talkd to the Miz. He wasn't half bad, and the crowd was fully behind John Morrison. Alex Riley got into Morrison's face and got punched out for his action. Sheamus then ran down and beat up Morrison, and Riley got punched out by Jerry Lawler! Punk was in the booth, by the way.

I absolutely loved the psychology of Sheamus kicking Morrison in the knee, and was a nice touch to throwback to last night. I loved how The Miz, after last night's championship defense, had to wrestle tonight.

Melina defeated Alicia Fox and Eve

This match was atrocious. This match was seriously one of the worst matches I've seen in a long time. They can't wrestle, and it was painfully obvious throughout. This was sad, considering last night I was marking out huge for the divas table match. Alicia Fox nearly killed Melina with a powerbomb in the corner of the ring. Eve managed to get some offense in and nearly kicked Alicia Fox's head off. A standing moonsault was hit, which should've got the win for Eve. Eve dove off the top rope, while Melina rolled up Alicia Fox to get the win. The finish was well done, but the rest of the match was nothing to remember, that's for sure.

Post match, Melina slapped the heck out of Natalya and it looked like it hurt.

Daniel Bryan defeated William Regal

I was shocked to see a pur wrestling match on Raw. Daniel Bryan was facing off with William Regal and there was some nice counters and mat wrestling here. It wasn't your standard Daniel Bryan match as Regal had his number for a good portion of this match up. At one point during this bout, Regal and Bryan exchanged a series of European Uppercuts which was impressive to say the least. Neither man could get the upper hand but eventually Bryan hooked in his crossface lock and Regal tapped. This was one of the better matches I've seen on Raw, and defeats one of the better mat technicians still going today.

Santino & Tamina defeated Ted Dibiase & Maryse

Dibiase and Santino did most of this match up and it wasn't half bad. Dibiase was ahead of the game, but Santino was able to set up a few moves and eventually was going for the Cobra but stopped short of hitting Maryse. Tamina gave Maryse a superkick and then went to the top rope and you guessed it, she shit a nice throwback, Superfly Splash in tribute of Jimmy Superfly Snuka and won the match! A good entertaining match up with some nice moves, but mostly a throwaway affair. It was entertaining though, I liked it, for a change.

John Cena was completely over with a Texas crowd. THis was seriously the loudest Cena crowd that I've seen in a long time, and why not? I guess we'll have to just deal with it.

Vickie Guerrero, of all people came down to the ring. Vickie was getting completely booed out of the building whenever she tried to talk. The crowd was completely going nuts with the "you suck" chants, and it was amazing. The crowd was just so amazed at this. Vickie wanted Jerry Lawler to give her an apology from last week. Lawler and Cena exchanged jokes about Vickie Guerrero's weight and it was hilarious, although a bit cheesy.

The general manager chimed in, and I was marking out huge for the possibilities of a Dolph Ziggler vs John Cena title match. But there was not title on the line, but heck, I was marking out huge for this one. I guess I'm having a good day or something because up to this point I was marking out huge for Monday Night Raw.

John Cena defeated Dolph Ziggler

Dolph Ziggler started this match really hot, stomping out Cena with every other move. He was doing some great work in ring, but Cena was finding ways to stop the onslaught of offense. John Cena pushed forward and the crowd was 100% behind him. Cena hit a nice Fisherman's Suplex and I was watching a new livelier Cena here, alongside a smart Dolph Ziggler, who was ducking and diving the traditional Cena offense. The two went back and forth with some high flying offense, some nice rest spots, and overall an entertaining match up that led to Ziggler countering the Attitude Adjustment at one point, and Cena blocking the Sleeper Hold in another. Ziggler hit a nice sideslam, and this match was getting hotter than a lot of matches out of the Raw year. Ziggler's dropkick to the jaw of Cena toward the end of this match was picture perfect, and I once again am saying that given the right opportunity, Ziggler can move to the main event with ease. Cena was not a one trick pony here, he hit his moves, but also was wise enough to counter some moves, and the crowd ate it up. The STF was locked in and Ziggler tapped but Vickie provided the distraction, which allowed ZIggler to hit the Zig Zag on Cena and nearly pinned Cena for the 3 count! I was going nuts at this point, you were going nuts if you watched this match, and these two were putting on a show. Dolph Ziggler took the padding off the corner of the ring, and grabbed the Intercontinental Belt but was no match for the attitude adjustment, and Cena went completely nuts as Cena took out the champion, which was just a compelling match up. 3 Stars easily.

Post match, CM Punk left the broadcast booth and hit John Cena with a chair and walked away. That's right, Punk struck against Cena, and walkd away. Is CM Punk ready to compete? I don't know, but it was interesting to say the least.

Dolph Ziggler challenged John Cena to a rematch on Smackdown tomorrow and Vickie threw herself into the match. Yep.

Jerry Lawler, Randy Orton, and John Morrison defeated The Miz, Alex Riley & Sheamus

This match started fast and furious, and I enjoyed it. The Miz played up his scared persona, and Sheamus eventually got the green light to go into the match. Lawler was the weak link here, with the monster heels mopping up the king with relative ease. Lawler would get a comeback and eventually tag in Morrison to get the sides even up. Sheamus and Morrison really work well together, and Alex Riley was just getting punished. Sheamus focused on the knee of Morrison and The Miz eventually came in and fought the weakened #1 contender. Towards the end, Randy Orton got the tag and he started unleashing on The MIz. He hit his DDT, He was on a roll and it looked like this one was over, but it wasn't mean to be just yet. Morrison took care of Sheamus, Lawler was out, Miz managed to get the upper hand after Riley took an RKO. Lawler got the tag and unleashed on Miz, and Orton hit an RKO on MIZ which let JERRY LAWLER GET THE PIN ON THE MIZ! I MARKED OUT HUGE! Lawler pinned The Miz!!! I kid you not! The Miz was pinned and all was said and done!

They plugged WWE Smackdown, and added a match for Smackdown. The Miz would wrestle Randy Orton!

A great Raw overall. There were a lot of good matches here, and some quality wrestling. WWE really tried hard to make this night a good one. I loved it, you probably liked it, and it was a nice piece of wrestling for a change.

Ok folks, if you're reading this please do me a favor and check out Amazon.com here and purchase something, your purchase will help this blog keep going, and maybe even let me get internet access at home so I'm not marking out huge at the library. I'll be back for more reviews, posts and what not tomorrow, for Smackdown!

WWE Monday Night Raw 12/6/10 Results

Daniel Bryan & Brie Bella defeated Ted Dibiase Jr & Maryse
Tyson Kidd defeated DH Smith
Santino & Kozlov defeated The Nexus in a Four Corners Match for the Tag Team Championship
Natalya defeated Melina
Randy Orton defeated Alex Riley via dq

WWE Monday Night Raw 12/6/10 Review

The night started with a recap of last week's Raw, featuring the Miz's first title defense, and how he nearly lost. Literally, Jerry Lawler was robbed of the WWE championship last week, thanks to Michael Cole!

I still say that last week's world title main event, was the match of the year candidate, just because of how emotional I got during the match and how memorable it is going to be for me to see Lawler not only nearly win the match but also beat the snot out of Michael Cole. I hate Michael Cole, and I hope he gets fired. He's worse than Mike Tenay ever was. I'd rather hear Tony Shiavone and Dusty Rhodes.

Raw's announcers were only CM Punk and Jerr Lawler, NO MICHAEL COLE.

Michael Cole walked out to issue an apology. Cole's getting fat, by the way.

As cole was in ring mouthing off, the general manager forced The King to go into the ring and apologize, and he did. But as the two shook hands, The King held onto Cole, and said that someone from the back wanted to come say high to Cole...it was none other than, RANDY ORTON.

The Miz came out to talk crap and set up a rematch with Orton at TLC. But the big highlight here was Michael Cole, he got the biggest RKO of his life! COLE is dead! I LOVED IT! FU COLE! FU!

Daniel Bryan & Brie Bella defeated Ted Dibiase Jr & Maryse

Not a great match, but for what it was, it had a great deal of good moments. Daniel Bryan and Ted work well in a limited capacity and this match was a good opener, at least for me. No amazing moves here, no incredible wrestling, but a good deal of fighting and limited diva action.

David Otunga did an interview in place of Wade Barrett.

In a hotel room, John Cena beat up Husky Harris.

Tyson Kidd came out with a new bodyguard. A very young looking Matt Morgan or Kevin Nash type. This guy was a complete meathead, looking a lot like the characters in Final Fight.

Tyson Kidd defeated DH Smith

This match was not that great but it did feature a nice super plex from the top rope. This quick match ended with a Tyson Kidd roll up.

Post match the enforcer body guard beat up DH Smith.

Santino & Kozlov defeated The Nexus in a Four Corners Match for the Tag Team Championship

This match was elimination style and it was actually given quite some time. Santino showed a lot more wrestling this time, and Kozlov had a great deal of influence as he fought off the Nexus attack. As teams were eliminated, the match moved forward and eventually got a HUGE distraction from John Cena. Cena jumped the rail, and the Cobra hit, giving Santino and Kozlov the world tag team championship belts! That's right, Santino and Kozlov are the new champions.

Sheamus came out to do his royal introduction and ceremony with the crown and the throne in the ring. He cut a promo, but out came John Morrison and beat him up and threw him out of the ring. The two will probably continue to Feud, but what everyone is talking about online is, where is HHH?

Natalya defeated Melina

A boring match, with a little bit of wrestling. Not a whole lot. Laycool was on color commentary. Natalya wins with a Sharpshooter.

Post match, Laycool beat up Natalya.

Randy Orton defeated Alex Riley via dq

I'm assuming that was the ending, as this match wasn't that long. The Miz was in the corner of Alex Riley, but when Orton looked like he was going to win, Miz ran in and hit the Skull Crushing Finale.

The Miz then said he'd show Orton what kind of match they would have. Miz brought out a Table, so apparently they'll have a table's match at the ppv. Nothing happened though, as Orotn woke up. Alex Riley was then power bombed through a table by Orton.

Wade Barrett and Cena had words...I didn't care.

Wade Barrett asked Nexus to come down and help him fight John Cena...and they walked away! That's right, they walkd away! Nexus gave up on Wade Barrett! THERE IS A NEW LEADER IN NEXUS! Wade is out, and the last man to leave was David Otunga...and yep, the NEXUS left Wade Barrett for dead and John Cena beat the hell out of him.

That was the end of Raw. John Cena, the supposedly fired superstar, beat up Wade Barrett and Nexus walked out of the match up. This was a watchable raw, but there was no memorable match. I liked it, don't get me wrong, but come on, no memorable wrestling on a wrestling show? Oh well. I liked where it is going.

The show ended with Wade Barrett and David Otunga yelling at him.

WWE Superstars 11/18/10 Results

Chavo defeated JTG
Trent Barretta defeated CUrt Hawkins
Yoshi defeated Primo Colon
Melina & Gail Kim defeated Alicia Fox & Maryse

WWE Superstars 11/18/10 Review

Chavo defeated JTG

JTG needs big Shad to make his gimmick work, because a solo "gangsta" just seems odd. In fact, WWE should call up New Jack and have him manage the team of JTG and Shad as the "Gangstas" but that's just a quick idea, it probably won't go anywhere. Chavo and JTG put on an ok job, but not necessarily a great one. There were a few good spots, but overall, it wasn't exactly an all star classic.

Trent Barretta defeated CUrt Hawkins

This match was a quick paced, high offense match up. Trent was flying through spots, while Hawkins tried to slow down the pace. This match was just plain, nothing too exciting. It had enough nice spots, but overall, it just seem tired to me.

Yoshi defeated Primo Colon

Primo and Yoshi put together a halfway decent match up, and it was cool to hear the new commentator with CM Punk on color commentary. The match eventually ended with Yoshi picking up the win.

Melina & Gail Kim defeated Alicia Fox & Maryse

A longer divas match than in recent months, but that doesn't make it that much better. There were a few good spots, but nothing to really write home about. I enjoyed it enough, and the good girls get the win. Gail Kim and Melina get the win.

This show was definitely the "C" show, as it wasn't all that great, but it did offer some good spots here and there. All eyes are on Survivor Series and whether or not John Cena will turn heel.

Randy Orton defeated Edge & Chris Jericho in a triple threat match
Eve defeated Maryse
Sheamus defeated Evan Bourne
Santino & Kozlov defeated Zack Ryder & William Regal
Wade Barrett defeated Mark Henry

WWE Monday Night Raw 7/19/10 Review

Randy Orton defeated Edge & Chris Jericho in a triple threat match

I was surprised to see the opening match was a triple threat to see who'd the #1 contender to Sheamus's WWE Title would be. This match started off a little slow, as most triple threat matches start, and slowly became harder hitting and harder hitting. Jericho and Edge were getting worked by Orton, and the crowd was completely behind Orton in this match up. Despite hitting some major moments, and getting rid of Jericho and Edge on several occasions, it wasn't too clear that Orton would win this match up. All three men were getting hit with power moves and getting tossed outside, but the crowd seemed firmly behind Randy Orton in this one. I actually wasn't sure who'd get the nod, but had a feeling that maybe it was Orton's time. In predictable fashion, Orton won out and will once again get a title shot at Summerslam.

Remember this folks, ORTON's first reign as champion came at Summerslam by defeating Chris Benoit!

Edge got on the mic after the match and started yelling and wanted Chris Jericho to come out. Jericho told Edge that the Nexus were behind Jericho and that he is going to make them beat up Edge.

Nexus came out and Wade Barrett said that Jericho was right. They then mauled and beat up Edge! Jericho was yelling and directing orders and Edge was getting beat up! Jericho and the Nexus? That was awesome! Nexus and Jericho teaming up? The Nexus has a new leader?

Nope.

The Nexus stood there and watched Jericho, and Wade got back on the mic. Jericho punched Wade and then the Nexus group fought Jericho! Nexus beat up Jericho! YES YES YES! More beatdowns!

Too bad last night they looked like chumps.

The announcers still suck. Michael Cole is the worst. The King is ok, but Cole still sucks.

Sheamus tried to have a discussion with Wade Barrett but Wade walked away.

John Cena was backstage in an interview segment with Cole? Lame. Cena sucks, turn hell already! Seriously, turn heel!

Cena said he wanted Wade and the Nexus in the ring, and he said he has something to say to them. We'll see what happens...soon.

Eve defeated Maryse

Maryse is interesting enough, and she fought Eve. Maryse had a few moments in this one. Ted Dibiase was on commentary, and wasn't all that great. Eve got the win after a few minutes with Maryse's foot on the rope.

Post match, Dibiase argued with the ref, but out came John Morrison and hit or missed Starship Pain, and that was that.

I like the way WWE is writing as of late. They are building feuds by attacks, and storylines that feature “fighting” contingent on previous battles and controversies, rather than long building mic work. I like that. Morrison attacking Dibiase will build a nice feud, and let's all hope WWE can capitalize on it.

Sheamus came out and cut a promo. He talked about being dominant and all that stupid commentary that heels do, but it was interrupted by none other than The Miz. The Miz came out and started to talk to Sheamus about how he can cash it in and get the world title.

The general manager emailed in at this point, and I almost forgot that there was a weird general manager.

Sheamus defeated Evan Bourne

Evan Bourne did not just roll over and job out to Sheamus. Sheamus had some serious trouble in this match, with Bourne fighting through a lot of high spots and hitting the champion with everything he had. Sheamus did manage to cheat a few times, and hit some power moves, rest holds and his Bro-Kick to get the pinfall victory over Bourne. Not a terrible match, but I'm still not sold on Sheamus being good at all. I've yet to see him in an exciting match up, although Bourne did put on a good fight.

Post match, The Miz jumped in and hit Sheamus with the briefcase and was looking to cash in! The fans were going nuts, the ref was standing by, and Miz was trying to hit the Skullcrushing Finale, and it worked! Sheamus was out cold!

Miz cashed in the Money in the Bank after hitting the Skull Crushing Finale on SHEAMUS ON THE BRIEFCASE! I MARKED OUT HUGE and was going nuts, heart racing, marking out like a school girl! But the match was then waived and out ran R TRUTH! So Miz didn't cash in and fought off R Truth and took his case and ran away!

This sequence was awesome, Sheamus getting squarely knocked out was quite good, and Truth saved Sheamus here. Oh man, it was AWESOME!

Santino & Kozlov defeated Zack Ryder & William Regal

Once again we are fed this stupid match. I'm ok with Santino on Raw, but come on, his comedy routine is getting old now. Kozlov and Santino rolled through the jobbers of Raw and that was that. There wasn't too much to see here, except maybe Santino and the Cobra. Santino got the pin and that was that. I'm tired of these four guys.

Wade Barrett defeated Mark Henry

This match wasn't half bad. Wade Barrett fought hard and while Mark Henry wasn't an easy win for the Nexus leader, it was actually watchable and an ok match up. Barrett lifted Henry and hit his finisher but it looked horrible and botched. Henry could be a legit 400 pounds and it showed, even though Wade was able to put him on his shoulders and nearly deliver his finisher.

John Cena came out and faced the Nexus group. He said “I'm Sorry guys”. He then said that he wanted respect and that's about it.

Nexus said, No; to a truce.

Barrett wanted John Cena to join Nexus! That's right, John Cena was asked to join Nexus! Much like the New World Order was trying to get Benoit, and others to join, Cena was asked to join N.W.O 3000.

This was much like Foley joining the Corporation, Owen Hart joining the Nation of Domination, and the time Austin went corporate! Cena looked down and was about to join the Nexus crew....but....of course we couldn't have Super Cena do it, now could we? Nope. He didn't join.

John Cena, the chump, left the ring and said that he formulated a team that would take down Nexus at Summerslam. Who is on Team Cena?

Edge, John Morrison, R Truth, The Great Khali, Chris Jericho and Bret “The Hitman” Hart

That's right! Cena's Army vs. The Nexus at Summerslam! Nexus ran off, and this Summerslam in Los Angeles just got a lot hotter!

Look for a heel turn at Summerslam from Cena, or Hart, or someone. There's a 14 man tag at Summerslam! There's always a heel turn, always....don't forget.

The show ended with the groups watching each other, and that was the end of that.

Yep.

Raw was ok at best. There was a lot of set up for the ppv in a few weeks, and there was an ok amount of matches. Nothing too crazy.

WWE Superstars 7/15/10 Results

Chavo Guerrero defeated JTG
Curt Hawkins and Vance Archer defeated Jobbers
The Bella Twins defeated Jillian & Maryse
Chris Jericho defeated Yoshi Tatsu

WWE Superstars 7/15/10 Review

I remember wanting to get up early on weekends to watch cartoons then eat sugary cereal and then watch WWF Challenge or WWF Superstars at noon on regular television. The latest incarnation of Superstars really is somewhat like that, only in that it shares the name and style. The show is just wrestling, and not a whole lot of storyline, which isn't too bad, but it lacks the enthusiasm that the other shows had. I for one, am not as enthused each Thursday to watch and review 3 hours of wrestling, but I somehow continue to do so, and sometimes, I wonder why. Here are my thoughts on Superstars for this week.

Chavo Guerrero defeated JTG

JTG is way over in comparison to Shad Gaspar. Remember, it was Shad's time? Yeah, well JTG seemed to have the gimmick and the legs to continue being featured on WWE tv. This match seemed odd, two lower card guys opening television? I guess. I like Chavo, but no one else seems to like him, and he's still pushing that “Chavito Heat” type of gimmick. It only worked because of his Uncle Eddie, and he needs an update. JTG and Chavo exchanged momentum in this match up, and both men had unique points of interest, and I wasn't sure who'd actually win this one. I could make arguments for each man winning, but after some botches and some obvious “light hits” it seemed obvious to me that Chavo had the upper hand. Chavo ended up winning with the Frog Splash and that was that.

Not exactly a great match, but I guess it's nice to see Chavo getting a win, even if the fan fare was chimed in during post production.

Curt Hawkins and Vance Archer defeated Jobbers

This was stupid, and while I loved the classic jobbers from yesteryear in WCW and WWF, I don't care for them anymore. The jobbers got beat up and that was that. Hawkins and Archer is the worst team in WWE right now, and this match made me care even less about them. Your typical jobber match, that's about it.

The Bella Twins defeated Jillian & Maryse

This match sucked. The divas are the worst example of women's wrestling ever. The match had a lot of Blonde action, with both Maryse and Jillian taking control of the Bellas at different points in this match up. The Twins switched places during the match, a roll up worked and the Bellas win another match up. This was boring, and really only further proves that the divas suck. A funny moment in the match was when Jillian and Maryse tried to do the switch.

Chris Jericho defeated Yoshi Tatsu

Yoshi gave Chris Jericho a good fight, and the contrast of styles was definitely working towards making this match a great main event for Superstars. The match had Tatsu looking strong throughout and when he almost got to the ropes during the Walls of Jericho, I thought for sure this match would have Jericho once again losing. Tatsu kept in there and looking like he was going to win this one, but nope, the veteran managed to get the submission win and that was that. Jericho wins a very competitive and dare I say, entertaining main event match.

Superstars was actually good this week. No, not great, but the main event and opening matches were well enough that I actually was entertained.

WWE Monday Night Raw 6/28/10 Results and Review

*I didn't get this review up sooner because my internet went down for the last few days, and I had to switch from one service provider to another. I'm hoping to get a job soon, so that I can pay for the internet service, so we'll see what happens.

WWE Monday Night Raw 6/28/10 Results

Kozlov defeated Santino
Sheamus defeated Mark Henry
Alicia Fox & Maryse defeated Eve & Gail Kim
Evan Bourne, John Morrison, Randy Orton, R Truth defeated Chris Jericho, The Miz, Ted Dibiase, Edge

WWE Monday Night Raw 6/28/10 Review

Sheamus started the show, and the crowd did not boo, they actually cheered, which was interesting to see, that's for sure. He was going on and on, then out came the super hero of the WWE, John Cena. Cena came out and asked for help from Sheamus and at the same time made fun of him.

The general manager emailed in some comments, and before the guys could start brawling, Michael Cole said some random crap. Next week the Nexus team will have to deal with the General manager. If anyone from the group comes into contact with the wwe universe, they'll get fired...lame.

They announced that John Cena will face Sheamus at the ppv in a cage match, whatever, that never stopped anyone from interfering.

The Hart Dynasty got beat up by the USOS. That's it. No match here, just a beat down.

Kozlov defeated Santino

In a really quick match, Santino got killed, that's it. He has gone from Intercontinental Champion to comedy act.

Rob Zombie came out and announced the Money In The Bank participants:

The Miz, Randy Orton, R Truth, Chris Jericho, Evan Bourne, Ted Dibiase, John Morrison, and Edge

Edge came out on the titan tron and started talking to Rob Zombie.

The mystery general manager set up a tag match...ugh...what a terrible night of wrestling.

Sheamus defeated Mark Henry

Mark Henry got jobbed out to Sheamus. I still think Sheamus sucks.

The legends came into the ring and started talking random crap. By legends I mean, the old legends. IRS, Michael Hayes, Arn Anderson, and others. Arn Anderson talked a bunch of crap and I don't know what was going on, I went to get a drink. Out came out the Nexus and they approached the ring area. They attacked the legends, especially Arn Anderson. They tried to get into the ring, but were thwarted at most attempts. They eventually beat up each legend one by one on the outside.

This is truly New World Order 3000.

I'm not sure what the whole point of this was, nor why the Nexus was still fighting, since they now have the contracts they asked for.

Alicia Fox & Maryse defeated Eve & Gail Kim

The divas got a random match, and you can expect that it was botched, sloppy, and tired. There were a few stand out moments, but nothing too extreme, nor worth mentioning.

Evan Bourne, John Morrison, Randy Orton, R Truth defeated Chris Jericho, The Miz, Ted Dibiase, Edge

This eight man tag was just like all the rest of the cluster eight man tags that end Raw. That being said, this match was given a good amount of time, and wasn't a spot fest. The match was watchable and quite interesting to see. Jericho and Bourne set the stage late on for Orton to hit the RKO and win this match up, with the crowd going nuts.

Post match, Edge attacked everyone and introduced a ladder and was attacking anyone that moved, but was thwarted by Morrison and Bourne. The Miz was left in ring and was going to pull down the briefcase prematurely, but Randy Orton threw him off a ladder.

One of the worst nights in pro-wrestling, that's for sure.

I didn't get to catch NXT so I didn't post results. I also don't care about the second season. Rob Zombie was a non factor in this night of wrestling. Lame.

WWE Monday Night Raw 5/31/10 Results and Review

WWE Monday Night Raw 5/31/10 Results

R Truth defeated Chris Jericho
Santino & Eve defeated Maryse & William Regal
Daniel Bryan defeated The Miz
John Cena & Evan Bourne defeated Edge & Sheamus

WWE Monday Night Raw 5/31/10 Review

I almost forgot that Raw was on tonight, as I’ve been jaded by wrestling lately, but I managed to check it out, and here’s my thoughts, and what not.

The Show opened up with Edge beating up Evan Bourne, but Bourne started to fight back and Edge was taking shots and looked weak against the high flyer. It’s important to understand that this was not a match, it was just the beginning of Raw. Bourne missed the shooting star press, and Edge got his bearings back only to hit the spear.

Edge got on the mic, and it was boring, I don’t like Edge right now, he’s not that great. Edge went on and on about the Fatal Fourway, I hate the fact that we might have to see Edge vs John Cena yet again. I’ve already seen them wrestle a million times.

Randy Orton came out to interrupt and while Edge ran his mouth, Orton simply hit the RKO and got on the ropes, that’s about it.

Let it be known yet again, that I hate the Raw Guest Hosts, I’m sick of them.

R Truth defeated Chris Jericho

Chris Jericho was like a man possessed during this match, and Truth was having a hard time fighting back. Jericho found a way to keep attacking, and controlling the match with relative ease. It’s interesting that Truth is the champion, yet Jericho was winning for the most part. Truth apparently isn’t the strongest champion, but I was predicting a superhero roll up and come back, ala John Cena. Of course, I was right, and Jericho lost out of the blue. Truth rolled out of the Walls of Jericho and won with ease.

Jericho seemed sad afterwards, and maybe he’s going to take time off. The match wasn’t that great, although it was longer than the average Raw match, or so it seemed. I liked it, although I didn’t like the predictable super hero ending, and recovering after a long beating. I wish there was a strong champion, that was just good, not easily worn down, but then miraculously fine at the end.

Santino & Eve defeated Maryse & William Regal

In a match that you would of missed if you blinked, Santino managed to win this match with a little help of Kozlov. This match was nothing more than filler, to say the least. Santino is ok, sometimes.

Bret Hart came out to cut a promo, I don’t know, I wasn’t paying too much attention, since my stream was lagging like crazy. He announced a three hour special for next week’s Raw with all talent, and forget the draft.

Ted Dibiase Jr came out with Virgil and got on the mic. He wanted to buy the general manager position next week. Ashton came on the screen and called for a viewers choice instead, and Bret agreed.

Vince McMahon showed up. That’s right, the real Mr. Mcmahon, the character, strutting to the ring, the guy they said was dead, is now back. Dibiase left, and McMahon got into the ring with Bret Hart. McMahon just said good luck to Bret Hart and that’s about it. Nothing crazy, nothing special, just random compliments and afterwards he left the ring and that’s that.

Orton got ambushed in the back by Edge, and this could be a way of writing Orton off the ppv.

Daniel Bryan defeated The Miz

In a shocker of sorts, Daniel Bryan squared off against THE MIZ! I kid you not, THE MIZ fought DANIEL BRYAN! What the heck? This was definitely peaking my interest in wrestling.

This match was back and forth for a few moments, then it was Daniel Bryan with the pin, and the win!

Post match The Miz threw Bryan out of the ring and that was that. Daniel Bryan pinned the Miz and won the match. Daniel Bryan got the best of the exchange by throwing Miz into Michael Cole at ring side.

The Rikishi kids cut a promo. I didn’t care. Whatever. They need to prove something to me, new tag teams won’t last anyways. New tag teams always get split up within 2 years time. Unless the WWE is turning things around, which is highly unlikely.

I guess since there’s no tag team division, any “tag team” that attacks the champions gets a title shot? I guess that’s what I get for trying to rationalize professional wrestling.

The Hart Dynasty came out and tried to fight, and they got beat up. I still don’t care.

Zack Ryder was in ring and Jerry Lawler came in and sat down. The Great Khali came out, and apparently was going to wrestle Ryder? What happened to Kahli taking time off and what not? I thought he was done? Oh well. Khali came in the ring and he was getting cheer in light of Ryder and Lawler and Kutcher on screen.

Goldust then came out. That’s right, Goldust. Ryder was frantic and Kutcher was going to reveal Ryder’s opponent, and it just wasn’t happening, and I was bored again. Until Alicia Fox knocked Ryder out, for what seemed like no reason…it was dumb, and I didn’t care.

So at around 7:41 pm EST the show was getting really boring, and this was just another Also, at t his point there were only 3 matches, lots of drivel, and a lot of boredom. With a roster as large as the WWE’s, you’d think there’d actually be wrestling on the show, but nope.

John Cena & Evan Bourne defeated Edge & Sheamus

Well, well, Evan Bourne was given a shot at the main event with John Cena. Since Orton re-injured his shoulder, the WWE put Bourne in there for this tag team match, and it’ll be interesting to see if he gets more opportunities like this. Bourne is a smaller guy, so he’s not exactly a gem for the WWE, but maybe they’ll figure it out and utilize his skills to their advantage. It’d b e nic,e if they brought back the Cruiserweight belt, that’s for sure

Bourne was hitting every move in his arsenal against Edge as the show went to break, which is interesting to note for sure. When Raw returned from break, Sheamus was doing a number on Cena, but Cena fought back and Evan Bourne got the tag and was taking it to Sheamus with ease, but that was short lived as Sheamus got control over the much smaller opponent.

The match was your standard tag team match, with neither team truly getting an upper hand. There was the signature “Cena” hot tag and he was on fire against Sheamus and Edge at one point. It’s funny to see Sheamus not know how to counter the obvious offense of Cena, even though a few weeks ago he had counters for nearly everything. Sheamus did turn things around and looked to have this thing in the bag, but nope, Cena hit an Attitude Adjustment and this thing was in the books as Edge threw himself out of the ring. The good guys win, as if there was any doubt and Cena is once again super Cena.

WWE Monday Night Raw 5/17/10 Results and Review

WWE Monday Night Raw 5/17/10 Results

The Undertaker defeated Edge by Countout
Edge defeated Christian
Ted Dibiase Jr defeated Yoshi Tatsu
Bret Hart defeated The Miz for the United States Championship
Layla, Michelle McCool and Maryse defeated Eve & The Bella Twins
Randy Orton vs Jack Swagger No Contest
Evan Bourne & Gail Kim defeated Zack Ryder & Alicia Fox
John Cena vs Sheamus no contest

WWE Monday Night Raw 5/17/10 Review

I completely forgot about the TNA review and ppv, because I was busy, so forget it happened. From what I hear, it wasn’t very good anyways.

The show opened up with Bret “The Hitman” Hart coming down to the ring. It’s also important to note that Raw was in Toronto Canada.

The Hitman informed everyone that he wasn’t going to be wrestling tonight, despite being called out by The Miz last Raw.

Chris Jericho came out to interrupt, and what not…I lost track of stuff looking or the new Murs record.

The night had several different commercials and sponsors, in a night tht wasn’t supposed to have any. Of course they were all for wwe and what not, and parodied real commercials.

Looks like the wwe likes to gamble, or play cards or something because they had a “pick your poison” match, where two opponents at Over the Limit would pick their opponents “opponent”. I know, it’s odd, but whatever.

Edge defeated Christian

Christian has been working both shows, and it seems like the brand split didn’t matter. Christian was running straight through Edge for the most part, but managed to hurt his shoulder outside of the ring, which is a common point for Christian matches. The crowd was red hot for this match, and both guys put on some great counters and overall wrestling, despite the short amount of time. After some close falls, it was Edge that managed to win this match up. Not a four star classic, but a great overall opener that kept my attention for a Raw match.

The Undertaker defeated Edge by Countout

Randy Orton didn’t pick Christian, he picked Undertaker and when Edge deliberately got counted out, Christian came out and threw him in the ring. The Undertaker than knocked him out, and that was the end of the night.

I hate no commercial Raw events.
Mark Henry was supposed to face Mark Henry, but instead got trampled by Batista before the match could even happen.

Ted Dibiase Jr defeated Yoshi Tatsu

Tatsu got worked over in this match, despite getting some offense in during the match up. Dibiase hit Dream Street and that was that. The match wasn’t all that great, but I liked the fact that VIRGIL came back. That’s right, THE VIRGIL is now helping Ted Dibiase Jr.

Bret Hart defeated The Miz for the United States Championship

The Hart Dynasty helped Bret hart overcome the odds and once again get the United States Championship! That’s right, he won the match with a lot of help from the Hart Dynasty…The Miz basically got jobbed the crap out. Wow. I have no idea what they are going to do with the United States Title now.

Layla, Michelle McCool and Maryse defeated Eve & The Bella Twins

This match was relatively boring, too much time was spent on dropkicks…seriously. Maryse tagged herself in and got the pinfall victory after the French Kiss. I guess it was ok…I don’t know, I don’t care about the divas in wwe.

Randy Orton vs Jack Swagger No Contest

This match was quite a high caliber match, and was comparable to their ppv outing they had. While Orton seemed to be a little less abrasive, and Swagger was looking quite dominant for a good part of this match, the Viper was striking on all cylinders. The crowd was going nuts, and Swagger, despite nearly losing this match up looked Strong.

Swagger got with an RKO but Edge was there to disrupt the match and hit a Spear.

Evan Bourne & Gail Kim defeated Zack Ryder & Alicia Fox

This match had Ryder taking some serious shots against Bourne, and Gail Kim hitting some nice high spots against Fox. This match had some interesting counters, and Ryder getting involved was interesting to see when the divas were wrestling. Overall though, I didn't really like this match. Gail Kim won the match with a pinfall, and this match was done. A standard mixed tag team match, didn't mean a whole lot.

John Cena vs Sheamus no contest

I'm so sick of John Cena. I'm so tired of seeing him wrestling, it's getting ridiculous. Sheamus further solidified himself as a pale heel, and was really bringing it to Cena during this match up. Cena was doing the classic, super cena, stuff, and no one seemed to care...well, the crowd was loud, I just wasn't into it at all. The "Let's Go Sheamus" chant was huge at one point, with Cena getting booed for his comebacks.

Cena threw Sheamus out of the ring with an Attitude Adjustment, but Batista was there to catch cena and drop him with a spine buster. Batista would go on to beat up Cena yet again, and will most likely lose at the ppv.

This match had rails, it was going somewhere, I actually was watching, then when Batista beat him up, and the match was thrown out. Batista putting on The Rings of Saturn was a nice touch, as Raw went off the air.

I like the build, but I don't know if the match will actually be any good.

Raw was ok, nothing too grand.

WWE Monday Night Raw 3/1/10 Results and Review

WWE Monday Night Raw 3/1/10 Results

Randy Orton defeated Ted Dibiase via disqualification
Jack Swagger defeated Santino
MVP defeated Zack Ryder
Eve beat Maryse, Alicia Fox ,Jillian,Gail Kim, and Kelly Kelly
Big Show & The Miz defeated Dx

WWE Monday Night Raw 3/1/10 Review

Shawn Michaels opened up the show, in street clothes coming down to ringside. HBK cut a promo asking for someone to come out and say he couldn’t beat the undertaker, and that’s when Triple H’s music hit. HBK and Triple H talk about random crap including Dx getting their rematch for the Tag Team Titles tonight on Raw.

Triple H goes on to say that Undertaker’s streak is going to end and that HBK will do it.

Cheech and Chong did a sketch, more like Chong did a sketch with Hornswoggle…it was dumb.

Randy Orton defeated Ted Dibiase via disqualification

Randy Orton was struggling throughout this match up. Ted Dibiase was fighting like he was on ppv, and Orton was taking every hit, until he got really excited and was ready to hit the RKO. Cody Rhodes came down and interfered in the match up, leaving Rhodes and Dibiase to fight off Orton. The two teamed up leaving Orton to fight off both men at the same time. Orton got the better of the exchange getting both men to leave the ring.

Jack Swagger defeated Santino

Santino has the best shirt in the WWE right now. I wish I had money.

This was a squash match. Santino went from being Intercontinental Champion at one point…I think….to now what? Nothing.

John Cena cut a promo, and the crowd was insane. I didn’t care for it, but he called out Batista. Mind you, this is the top of the first hour and only two matches have occurred. Batista’s music hit and man did he get a nice reception too. Batista rolled out with a ton of security guards for what seems like no apparent reason.

MVP defeated Zack Ryder

MVP squashes Zack Ryder completely. Not even a fair match. Ryder buried, and fired if You ask me.

Eve beat Maryse, Alicia Fox ,Jillian,Gail Kim, and Kelly Kelly

This was stupid. A pillow fight. I don’t know what else to say about it. Eve wins and that was that.

At this point in the night I got tired of this but kept pegging along.

Bret Hart and Vince had a nice little promo of random crap. They did their thing, I was bored, looking forward to getting some grub.

Big Show & The Miz defeated Dx

Show started by trying to manhandle HBK and he was doing it well as Michaels was bumping like a champ. This match was going well and wasn’t half bad, but then Undertaker showed up on the big screen, Miz rolled up HBK and wins the match. So lame. What a load of suck.

Post match, Sheamus ran out and beat up Triple H as HBK ran back to the backstage area crying like a little idiot.

Final thoughts:

This night of wrestling was very forgettable to me.

WWE Monday Night Raw 2/22/10 Results and Review Elimination Chamber Fallout

WWE Monday Night Raw 2/22/10 Results

Maryse defeated Gail Kim for the WWE Divas Championship
Kofi Kingston, Yoshi Tatsu, and Evan Bourne defeated Randy Orton, Ted Dibiase, and Cody Rhodes
John Cena defeated Batista via disqualification
Christian defeated Carlito in a money in the bank qualifier
Big Show & Miz defeated MVP & Mark Henry

WWE Monday Night Raw 2/22/10 Review

One night after The Elimination Chamber PPV, out comes the Raw show…hosted by Jewel and Some Idiot….I don’t remember his name.

Raw opened the night Chris Jericho walking down with the World Championship Belt. Chris Jericho was basically telegraphing Edge’s opponent for Wrestlemania. They set up Chris Jericho vs Edge at Wrestlemania for the world title!

John Cena got on the mic and was demanding a rematch right now. That prompted Vince McMahon to come out and talk to John Cena. McMahon wouldn’t budge and said that Sheamus also lost the title so he deserved a second shot. John Cena was placed in a match and if he won he’d wrestle Batista. However, if he lost, Sheamus would get a Wrestlemania shot. He has to wrestle Batista tonight and win if he wants a chance at Wrestlemania.

Maryse defeated Gail Kim for the WWE Divas Championship

These two actually put on a good overall match, at least for divas. Gail Kim was going for high flying moves, but it was Maryse that countered her and didn’t allow her to launch. Maryse managed to knockout Gail Kim after hitting her neck on the top rope, and then hit the French Kiss DDT and won the match. Maryse is now the divas champion.

Kofi Kingston, Yoshi Tatsu, and Evan Bourne defeated Randy Orton, Ted Dibiase, and Cody Rhodes

This match was your standard six man tag, with the same amount of action you’d come to expect from this type of match. Kofi and Orton had some great exchanges, and Orton seemed like he didn’t want to tag in at all.

Towards the end, Orton hit Rhodes with a huge DDT!

Then he started to walk away and Ted Dibiase went to talk to him, yelled, and got an RKO for his troubles.

Orton then walked away. Yoshi Tatsu and Evan Bourne took over, and a quick flight off the top rope, and this match was done. This was not half bad, and the breakdown of Legacy has finally come to fruition.
Shawn Michaels came out and talked about how wants a shot at Undertaker one more time and that last night he forced his way into getting a reaction from Taker.

Undertaker came out and confronted HBK and confirmed. Shawn Michaels will get a shot at the streak at Wrestlemania.

Christian defeated Carlito in a money in the bank qualifier

At this point of Raw they had a mechanical bull riding contest with the divas…this was such a stupid segment.

The best part was Big Show, he got on the mechanical bull! But he got pwned! It was hilarious.

Big Show & Miz defeated MVP & Mark Henry

The Big Show and Miz put up a good fight, and they really fought hard. MVP and Mark Henry did look solid in their loss, but they just didn’t have enough to topple the champions. I liked this match, and the tag team is actually quite good when you consider they haven’t been together too long. Big Show knocked out Mark Henry to win this match up for his team.

They will induct Wendy Richter into the Hall of Fame.

John Cena defeated Batista

Batista and Cena started this match in an odd fashion. John Cena was hitting fast and hard, but Batista kicked Cena square in the balls. That caused the referee to disqualify him and Cena won. I guess the two will meet at Wrestlemania. Batista then beat the crap out of Cena after the match was over.

Post match Batista continued to beat up John Cena, attempting to injure John Cena so that he wouldn’t even make it to Wrestlemania.

WWE Monday Night Raw 1/25/09 Results and Review Week Before Rumble

WWE Monday Night Raw 1/25/10 Results

DX defeated Legacy
The Big Show defeated MVP
Maryse defeated EVE
Cena vs. Sheamus (no contest)
Gail Kim defeated Alicia Fox

WWE Monday Night Raw 1/25/10 Review

They announced the guest hosts, and I already forgot who it was.

The show opened up with Degeneration X coming out for a match.

Shawn Michaels come out and talks a lot about he wants to win the Rumble, and asks Triple H to step down to win the Rumble. HHH wouldn’t bend at all, and it seemed like the two were headed to split up.

DX defeated Legacy

So far this match up wasn’t half bad. The match overall was going well, good fast paced action, back and forth tags. Legacy isolated HBK for a while, and it was interesting to watch as usual. However, things got really interesting when HBK and HHH started having problems in ring, and it looked like Legacy was going to get the cheap win. However, DX saddled up and managed to pull off another win against the faltering Legacy team.

The Dx guys are teasing a break up, with this Royal Rumble thing. It’ll be interesting to see them drop the titles on Friday and then break up and go on their separate ways. I for one am tired of Dx.

The Big Show defeated MVP

Before this match started The Miz and MVP verbally sparred and had a few moments before Miz announced that MVP will face The Big Show. The Big Show then proceeded to defeat MVP with such ease, that it’s surprising that he would ever get a title shot, considering he’s been on the way down for a long time now. Needless to say, this match was a non match, as it was over faster than it started. It was a jobber match to say the least.

The guest host is irrelevant to me, I don’t really care about these two guys.

Maryse defeated EVE

There were some half way decent points in this match, but it seemed forced at times. Maryse nearly killing Eve with the French Kiss is interesting to me. I liked the finishing move, but overall this match was short, the crowd wasn’t in it, and it just wasn’t that good. The divas are slowly, very slowly improving.

McMahon came out and said that Bret Hart would never be back in the WWE. He then went to the crowd and asked and belittled different people. The crowd rallied and gave a huge We Want Bret chant, but it wasn’t really changing things. McMahon then decided to simply leave with the crowd booing. But out came John Cena, for no apparent reason.

Cena cut a promo and basically said that if McMahon didn’t bring back Bret Hart, he would beat up Vince McMahon next week. McMahon said that he would invite Bret Hart back next week. John Cena was then thrown into a match with Sheamus, which is supposed to be punishment? Whatever.

Gail Kim defeated Alicia Fox

Gail Kim was hitting some impressive moments in this match and Alicia Fox wasn’t taking them all that well. She’s not that great of a wrestler and Gail Kim was having a hard time carrying this match alone, at least from my perspective. After a few terrible counters, gail Kim won this match and moves forward to facing Maryse in the divas tournament.

Cena vs. Sheamus (no contest)

Cena and Sheamus battled in a match, which seemed off, since there’s nothing to build towards now that they are giving away a potential main event. Whatever the case is, Sheamus was in control of this match for a good portion of it. Cena was getting dismantled, which is usually how Cena matches go anyways, but Sheamus wasn’t looking tired or faced as it progressed. Cena was out cold at ringside, after a kick by Sheamus and the count was on. As Sheamus was alone out ran Randy Orton and knocked out Sheamus, the bell rang, and this was another thrown out match? Does Sheamus win cause Orton? I don’t know, no one said anything.

Post match it looked like Orton had his eyes set on Cena, but Cena hit an Attitude Adjustment and that was the end of that.

Final Thoughts:

My internet kept going in and out during the writing of this review, so I was definitely more focused on that. I hate how I’m struggling to pay $40 for internet and it’s not even reliable.

This raw was ok, a lot of things happened, nothing stands out as excellent. The opening match was interesting, Kofi getting over on Miz also had a good amount of damage. Other than that though, this night of Raw is somewhat forgettable.

WWE Monday Night Raw 1/18/10 Results and Review The Comeback

First and foremost, I’m back. I didn’t get to review all the wrestling that happened the last week, because my dvr decided it wasn’t going to work while I wasn’t home. That’s ok. I will be doing new things this year for the site.

First and foremost, comments, keep em coming. Every week I will weigh in my opinion on your comments. It’s important that you guys comment and I will reward you in the near future with giveaways…but first I’ll weigh in and we can have a discussion about this. Comment after each post, or send me an email: sir Jorge at GMAIL dot com or on aol instant messenger: thecorporatehero

Secondly, I will be asking for money. That’s right, I can’t afford any ppv and my cable bill just spiked. I’m trying to get a job, but in the meantime I need help. If you can donate, please do so by shopping at amazon.com here, or donate via the donation button on the site of the site.

And now, for the latest Monday Night Raw review…oh and yes your comments will be posted this week, alongside my comments, stay tuned.

WWE Monday Night Raw 1/18/10 Results

Sheamus defeated Evan Bourne
Mark Henry defeated Jack Swagger in a over the top rope swagger challenge
John Cena & Kofi Kingston defeated Legacy
Gail Kim & Eve Torres defeated Maryse & Alicia Fox
Randy Orton defeated Chris Masters
Dx w/ Hornswoggle defeated The Miz, John Heder, and The Big Show

WWE Monday Night Raw 1/18/10 Review

Vince McMahon came out and started to talk about Bret Hart and how he hates the fans. He was cutting a major heel promo, and it was one of the best I’ve seen in a long time. At times, I felt like he wasn’t even trying, he was just going from the heart. Say what you want about Vinnie Mac, but he seems to have a charisma that can sway the crowd into hating him fast. I like that, and it’s rare to see someone over in the WWE with just one promo…well…a long history of getting beat down after promos.

The Undertaker came out to interrupt things. Undertaker cut one of his classic promo’s, you know the ones where he talks about how he can see the fear in someone’s eyes. He cut a promo about how Hart was screwed over twice by McMahon.

He then moved onto address Shawn Michaels, as McMahon left the arena. Shawn Michaels came out to get an answer about wrestlemania. Undertaker says no, Shawn looks mad…oh well.

I don’t know if they will have another match, but I didn’t really think their last match was as good as I remembered it. In fact, I might go as far as saying that it is over rated.

Sheamus defeated Evan Bourne

How is Evan Bourne getting so many shots at the champion? Triple H wasn’t wrestling Scotty Too Hotty every other week! What the heck? I hate this type of booking…and I already know what is going to happen in this match. What a terrible way to come back to wrestling for me. Sheamus got a few shots in, but there was no chance in hell that he would win, there’s just no way. So he gets killed, and Sheamus wins again.

Orton was out at ring side for this match, and I’m not sure what’s going on with the booking. Sheamus and Orton met in the middle of the ring, and now Orton’s a face? What the heck? I like Heel vs Heel matchups but this seems a tad bit off to me.

Backstage Don Johnson and Dx got into some hilarious banter. Including, “Who is John Heder?” which was interesting none the less.

Carlito was dressed as Napoleon Dynamite, which was a bit of a chuckle, but the guest hosts tonight suck.

Santino got called out by Jack Swagger and Santino came out dressed as Don Johnson’s famous character from Miami Vice. Santino didn’t want to fight, so he found a replacement, Mark Henry.

Mark Henry defeated Jack Swagger in a over the top rope swagger challenge

Jack Swagger got thrown out fast in this match. It wasn’t even a match, it was a boring one, and fast. Swagger gets thrown out fast, which is hilarious.

Don Johnson and John Heder came out with the bella twins, and the two started in ring. I didn’t really like their banter as it wasn’t funny to me. The Miz came out as a friend of John Heder’s and that prompted Miz to get on the mic. MVP then came out only to get knocked out by The Big Show. The Big Show was then announced as a friend of heder’s too. This segment was so forced, it was ridiculous; I almost turned off Raw because of this.

John Cena & Kofi Kingston defeated Legacy

Dibiase has the charisma of a wet blanket. Cena got the best of him early on, and the match started with a fast paced tag team feel, despite Kofi and Cena not being the traditional tag team. Kofi Kingston has such a high winded offense, it’s surprising that the WWE hasn’t asked him to slow down. He just moves from spot to spot, and it seems like no one complains. Overall, I was surprised that Legacy actually had some offense that wasn’t just stomping and kicking. Cody Rhodes even looked a little better than usual, but wasn’t a major factor in regards to the overall match. Dibiase seemed to be the weak link in this match with Rhodes saving his partner from many moments of nearly losing. I definitely felt that they were going somewhere with this, and despite my previous comment about Rhodes not being a major factor, this thing was definitely better than most matches I’ve seen so far on the card. (that’s not saying much, there wasn’t exactly a lot of wrestling on this show up to this point) This match seemed to be going in the favor of Legacy and instead the good guys get a win over the failing legacy duo.

Post match, Rhodes seemed like he was going to attack Dibiase, but it didn’t go down. It’s going to happen soon, the separation of yet another tag team.

Once again, the backstage segments suck the life out of me. Hornswoggle challenged Heder to a match. Heder was added to the main event, which was interesting to say the least, and makes the match nothing special to me.

Gail Kim & Eve Torres defeated Maryse & Alicia Fox

Gail Kim was a great asset to TNA when she was back there. In the WWE she hasn’t done a whole lot, and that’s a shame. It’s interesting to note that she has some major skills, and it showed with a great dropkick off the top rope. Overall though, this match wasn’t much of a match, even though Maryse’s back breaker looked like it broke Kim’s back. The crowd was near dead as the divas tried to make this into a watchable affair. I’ll admit, this wasn’t the worst divas match I’ve seen, but it definitely wasn’t the best either. They have a long way to go before they can match the TNA Knockouts best matches. However, this one did have some above average wrestling for the divas, and maybe that will continue in the near future.

Randy Orton defeated Chris Masters

I’m not sure why Orton chased away Kennedy, because Masters hit Orton with a few moves that definitely were botched, but that’s all ok. Orton looked to be on the road to winning another match, but when the rko got countered by the Master Lock, I was cheering for a change. As Orton was fading, I was definitely cheering huge! But he got to the ropes, and I knew this one was going to go Orton’s way. Orton hit an RKO and this was over…oh well, at least it had me going for a moment.

Post match, Sheamus jumped in and attacked Orton, laying him out. I’ve never seen a kick be so devastating. Wow…one kick? Whatever.

Dx w/ Hornswoggle defeated The Miz, John Heder, and The Big Show

This match was nothing more than entertainment, which is fine. The match really didn’t have much wrestling, it had a few moments, with Big Show showcasing his strength and The Miz getting a few shots in. However, the best part came as the match broke down towards the end, with Heder getting inside the ring and getting worked! Overall, not half bad, I didn’t think it was a complete waste, but Dx goes over yet again.

Post match, Triple H threw out HBK, Cena, and Big Show and it looks like Dx is on the way out yet again too.

Final Thoughts:

Overall not the worst show. It had a few moments of goodness. It had a decent first hour main event. The charge towards Royal Rumble is in full effect, and overall I didn’t hate the show. I did think that there were some obvious boring moments, and overall this lacked overall wrestling.

The final moments of the night had Cena saying he was going to win the Rumble, HBK and HHH looking split in regards to winning the Rumble, and of course Big Show as well. I am not sure who’s going to win the Rumble, but I’m not as excited for this years rumble as I was in the past. I can’t afford it.

WWE Monday Night Raw 1/4/10 Results and Review Bret Hart Returns to WWE

Bret Hart comes home. I am one of the few people that believes Bret Hart may or may not have been screwed, it could’ve been all a work…which makes a lot of sense in a lot of ways. 12 years later, here we go, Bret Hart returns.

If Bret is back, when will we see the return of MACHO MAN RANDY SAVAGE?! That’s all I’m saying…

WWE Monday Night Raw 1/4/10 Results

Maryse defeated Brie Bella
MVP defeated Carlito, Jack Swagger, and Mark Henry in a fatal fourway match for the #1 contendership to the U.S Title
DX defeated Big Show & Chris Jericho in the WWE Tag Team Title match
Sheamus defeated Evan Bourne
Randy Orton defeated Kofi Kingston

WWE Monday Night Raw 1/4/10 Review

We kick the show off with none other than Bret Hart, no jokes, no gimmicks, no midgets, we really get the original, the best there ever was in my book as far as Technical wrestling, and simply one hell of a wrestler in front of the camera….BRET HART! The real BRET HART! He got quite the ovation, and he’s looking quite good! I never thought I’d see this day, and wow, wow, I can’t believe it. I marked out HUGE for this.

After some words, he calls out Shawn Michaels! I SERIOUSLY MARKED OUT HUGE! Holy Crap, I was finally not a jaded fan, and I was just thrilled to see this go down right away! Michaels got on the mic and basically said that Bret Hart deserved it, and the crowd took over from there. Bret Hart put his hand out to bury the hatchet, and Shawn accepted, the two finally forgave each other on air.

The two hugged and closure was finally had for wrestling’s most storied feuding wrestlers, and that seemed a bit emotional.

Vince McMahon was next on the hit list and Hart called him out. However, no sign of Vince McMahon was seen, at least not at the request of Hart in the beginning of Raw.

Maryse defeated Brie Bella

The divas can’t wrestle. It’s a dead horse, I know, but the dead crowd proved this point once again. This match had your basic offense, punches and kicks, and then somewhat down the line the two Bella’s switched roles, but it didn’t work as Maryse hit her finisher “The French Kiss” and that was that. This match sucked, but eh, I didn’t completely hate it.

The Miz came out and cut a heel promo against Maryse, it was hilarious.

MVP defeated Carlito, Jack Swagger, and Mark Henry in a fatal fourway match for the #1 contendership to the U.S Title

This match had some decent spots and momentum going forward. Mark Henry was knocked out early in the match, but later recovered and was on his feet mopping up looking forward. I thought the match was doing well enough, and each person was made to look adequate, no one looking too superior. The modified torture rack by Mark Henry was definitely shades of Lex Luger, but it was MVP that got the last laugh with the Playmaker on Swagger to get the victory. He’ll move on to fight The Miz for the United States championship.

Bret Hart and Chris Jericho had a meeting backstage, and it was hilarious. Jericho wants Hart to screw over Dx, but Hart doesn’t want to.

The Dx skits are getting less and less funny each week. Until SANTINO came in dressed as Jericho, and it was hilarious! Hornswoggle attacked, and that was ok, but Santino’s comedy keeps getting better.

I’m glad to see that WWE will be coming to my neck of the woods for a house show at Pullman Washington. I’ll be there live for sure.

DX defeated Big Show & Chris Jericho in the WWE Tag Team Title match

Big Show’s double suplex on dx was impressive, early on, as this match started with fast paced action, leading to a slow commercial break. Big Show took some big bumps in this match, more so than I’ve seen him take in previous weeks of battling Dx in ring. Dx were getting beat single handedly by Big Show but eventually they turned things around for a good bit of offense, but they couldn’t drop him in this match up, until Shawn Michaels hit a low dropkick. Jericho couldn’t get involved, and this thing looked to be headed towards Dx losing their title. Hornswoggle got involved while the ref was distracted and it looked like Dx was going to win this one thanks to the little guy, but they couldn’t put the big man down for the three. Big Show nailed Michaels with one of the biggest chokeslam’s I’ve seen in a long time, it shook the ring, and Michael’s didn’t lose the bout, which was insane. Jericho got tagged in and was going for the Walls of Jericho but couldn’t slap em on and a fast tag later Triple H hit the Pedigree and I thought this one was over! Big Show broke things up, and a super pedigree was hit with Michaels help, but Show rolled out of the ring, and this match was definitely a good one overall. I liked the Dx split tease with Jericho pushing Triple H into Michaels, falling out of the ring. When Jericho hit the Code Breaker, I marked out, I love the way that move hits from anywhere in the ring, and reminds me a lot of how DDP used to hit the Diamond Cutter out of nowhere at times. Dx got the win after a close call with Hornswoggle, and an assist from Shawn Michael’s while Triple H was locked in the Walls of Jericho! This was match of the night for me, it was given some time, and it had enough back and forth to satisfy me. Finally some decent wrestling on Raw, and just like that Chris Jericho is out.

Orton wanted a shot at Bret Hart, McMahon wouldn’t give it to him, and Orton asked for #30 in the rumble, and the backstage promo ended.

Sheamus sucks. He cut the worst promo I’ve seen in a long time. Evan Bourne came out on the mic and wanted a shot at the title, and it was lame. He doesn’t have the mic skills.

Sheamus defeated Evan Bourne

Evan Bourne hit Sheamus fast and hard, and then went for the Shooting Star press, but it was to no avail. Sheamus caught Bourne off the top rope, and started to dissect the little man. Sheamus hit his finisher, and it was over for Bourne.

Randy Orton defeated Kofi Kingston

We get this match yet again, and this time Legacy was sitting ringside. The match was mostly Kingston early on, with fast paced offense and high flying moves in and out of the ring. Orton was obviously having a hard time against Kofi, and was on the ropes when the commercial break hit. Orton blocked Thunder in Paradise and quickly hit the RKO and Kofi Kingston lost clean. No help from Legacy nothing, Kofi lost this one with a simple mistake. I hope this is the end to their feud, because it was going nowhere, after the initial good build up. Orton and Kofi put on a decent match, and Raw tonight definitely shined over TNA.

Vince McMahon called out Bret Hart, and Bret Hart came out to the ring. Vince McMahon talked about the Montreal Screw job etc etc…Vince McMahon and Hart tip toed around the point. The two eventually shake hands, and that seems to be the end of the show. McMahon then kicks Bret in the bread basket, and that gets a lot of boo's, of course.

Vince McMahon then leaves Bret Hart in the ring and that is that, I guess. I hope we see a street fight between the two. I'd like to see Hart bust McMahon's head wide open like Hogan did at Wrestlemania 19. I'd pay good money.

This raw was WAY BETTER than TNA, WAY BETTER!

WWE Monday Night Raw 12/7/09 Results

John Cena defeated Carlito
Legacy defeated Primo Colon & Evan Bourne
Maryse defeated Gail Kim
Kofi Kingston defeated Randy Orton w/ special guest referee Mark Cuban
The Miz defeated Mark Henry
Hornswoggle & Eve defeated Chavo & Jillian
Dx vs Chris Jericho no contest

WWE Monday Night Raw 12/7/09 Review

Mark Cuban was the guest host. I’m so tired of guest hosts right now. I don’t want to see anymore guests, seriously.

John Cena defeated Carlito

I used to kind of like Carlito, and now it seems like he’s one of the most hated wrestlers. No, not by the fans, but whoever is booking Carlito. He basically got stomped out, punked out and well thrown out by Cena. Now he gets a match with Cena? Odd.

Sheamus tried to come down to ringside, but security thwarted his attempt. Carlito jumped up and tried to hit the back stabber but nope, Cena turned it into the Attitude Adjustment and beat Carlito without even breaking a sweat. WWE just dealt a big F-U to Carlito.

I’m so sick of Randy Orton. I’m sick of a lot of things with professional wrestling. Orton and his idiots came down to ringside and cut a promo against the guest host and I was tired.

Legacy defeated Primo Colon & Evan Bourne

It’s nice to see that Primo and Bourne have something to do but is this really where we want them? I personally am tired of seeing “hot shot” tag teams thrown together for no apparent reason. Will Primo and Bourne also now get title shots too? Show & Jericho makes some sort of sense, but these two? Not really. By the time I wrote that last sentence, Legacy had taken control of the match and won with somewhat ease. They barely broke a sweat, meanwhile Bourne and Primo gave it their best shot.

Post match, Cody Rhodes & Ted Dibiase Jr were ejected from the arena. Security came out and essentially threw them out.

Maryse defeated Gail Kim

Maryse, the worst woman wrestler since Kelly Kelly got the win. Gail Kim, a great knockout in TNA, is now just a jobber. I don’t like the divas, there is no saving grace to them. I’m sorry, I don’t like any of them.

Kofi Kingston defeated Randy Orton w/ special guest referee Mark Cuban

This match was all Orton for the most part. Then Kofi hit a nice backslide, and Mark Cuban gave the fastest count in wwe history! Kofi wins! I don’t care for this feud right now. I’ve already seen these two wrestle, they can’t possibly steal the show any longer. There’s no anticipation for me to see anything.

The Miz defeated Mark Henry

The Miz defended his title, and surprisingly won in a fast match against Mark Henry. He won with a ddt, and that was about it. There was a few moments that were alright, but overall a short, throwaway match up for the title.

Hornswoggle & Eve defeated Chavo & Jillian

This is not important. It’s filler, and bad filler at that. Chavo is still employed? Wow. This was a standard psuedo-comedy match up. Eve pinned Jillian to pick up the win.

Post match, Chris Masters came out to fight Chavo. Apparently Chris Masters is a face now.

At this point the Emergency Alert System decided to do an Emergency TEST! They interrupted my RAW program! What the hell! I hate this place.

Dx vs Chris Jericho no contest

Jericho had to wrestle both members of Dx. It was a little interesting. Jericho was definitely out numbered and was getting hit hard. The ref was knocked out at one point and out came The Big Show to help out. Triple H got a chair, and that only made the giant mad. The match never really finished, I assume it was thrown out. Jericho and the Big show were left standing with the belts and Ladders.

Sheamus and John Cena had a “debate”. If you saw it, you know what I’m talking about. This was the worst ending to raw I’ve ever seen. Seriously, the worst…it was like a contract signing, and it ended with Sheamus beating up Cena, knocking down Mark Cuban.

Mark Cuban didn’t back down from Sheamus, and he got pushed down! Seriously, he got punked out! Sheamus proceeded to knock Cuban through a table! Yep, basically speared him through a table! If you missed it…you missed it. That’s when the Dallas Mavericks players jumped the guard rail, and Sheamus decided to leave.

WWE Monday Night Raw 11/30/09 Results and Review Last Day in November

WWE Monday Night Raw 11/30/09 Results

Maryse & Jillian defeated Melina & Gail Kim
Shaemus vs Santino (no contest)
Randy Orton defeated Kofi Kingston
Mark Henry defeated The Miz
Triple H defeated Chris Jericho

WWE Monday Night Raw 11/30/09 Review

Chris Jericho and Big Show opened up the show, and this week seems new to me. No, not just “new” in the sense that we are in a new week, but moreover, that we’re watching a new show altogether with different story lines. The last few weeks are thrown out the window, because now Jericho is talking about fighting Dx. I’m too tired, and this is how raw started; Jericho and Big Show talking smack.

DX came out to rectify the situation, and that to a huge ovation. Apparently if Jericho loses at the ppv, he will have to leave Raw too.

Maryse & Jillian defeated Melina & Gail Kim

Gail Kim is still employed? Lame. This match wasn’t much of a match. There were a few good parts, but overall, this match was fast paced and really didn’t offer much in the way of wrestling. Maryse picked up the win, and I guess she’s after the title, but does anyone care? I know I don’t really care.

Shaemus vs Santino (no contest)

Shaemus got on the mic, and I didn’t care. He was rambling about how he can beat John Cena or something, I don’t know. Santino then came out to confront him. Santino then was fed to the new guy, got pummeled, and there was no match? I don’t know what was going on. I know they need to build him up for Cena, but they could’ve just had him be mysterious, like Goldberg, but nope…he eventually threw Santino through a table.

We’re almost an hour into the show, and we’re going to get another match. Kofi Kingston was on his way to the ring, but was taken out by Cody Rhodes. He said he wanted to continue with the match, but out came Ted Dibiase to beat up Kofi and therefore causing this match to not even start, so we still have no major wrestling an hour in.

Randy Orton defeated Kofi Kingston

Kingston still wanted the match, so out came Orton. Orton was fighting Kingstn, at every turn, hitting him with some major moves. Kingston had no major chance here, as Orton was simply beating an already beaten man. Kingston did manage a moment of offense, but it was to no avail, Orton hit the RKO and this thing was over.

Backstage Jillian was crushed by Mark Henry after dancing, it was kind of a funny sketch.

John Cena got on the mic. He was talking and rambling, but out came Carlito! Carlito is still alive! Wow…he came out and started talking about how Cena needs to get beaten. Cena buries Carlito, who is as good as fired now.

Mark Henry defeated The Miz

The Miz put up a few shots at the world’s strongest man, but Mark Henry was just too much for the IC Champion, and one world’s strongest slam later, it was all said and done.

Triple H defeated Chris Jericho

Chris Jericho is the best heel in the business, and he’s being worked hard every week. This time around he is fighting off Triple H, and it seemed like an easy task for him, at least up to the commercial break, which he had full control of the match up. Jericho had this thing going his way after the commercial as well, and Shawn Michaels and Big Show were ringside for this one as well. Triple H turned this thing around, if only momentarily, with some big shots. Jericho, though, had this thing really going his way with some reversals, but they didn’t suffice. Big Show got up, and knocked out Triple H with a big right hand, meanwhile Shawn Michaels hit Jericho with sweet chin music! The ref then threw out the big show and shawn Michaels from ring side. Triple H got the big win after recovering from the Big Show’s knockout punch.

This match made for a match that will have Jericho fighting for his career on Raw!

This night of wrestling kind of bored me.
