WWE Monday Night Raw 4/26/2016 Results and Review Shane Still Runs The Show

Again, yes again, Shane McMahon is in charge. Why even have the Hell In A Cell match? This logic thing is stupid, but hey, that’s what you get right? Out comes Shane, and here we go, another week of Raw, and I’m pumped. I just got back from Spokane, Washington to hang out with a dear friend of mine, and play some poker. Now I’m back in Indianapolis, hanging out, making buttons, and enjoying a little bit of the high life. So here is the break down of the Monday Night Raw HULU edition, since I don’t have cable. WWE Monday Night Raw 4/26/2016 Results and Review

Stephanie McMahon showed up to interrupt Shane, and the two talked about how this was the last night for Shane. Stephanie than dropped the bomb shell that this Sunday, Vince McMahon would detail who would be in charge of the WWE. Security came down and escorted Stephanie McMahon out, to uproarious cheers. BY the way, I’d like to just say that Stephanie is absolutely beautiful. Just saying. Stunning. For a mother of several children, she has such a great body, and well, that’s awesome. According to the Triple H dvd, she works out daily, and of course, she has the resources to get it done. This was a really cool segment with Stephanie getting carted out by Security, aka Indie Wrestlers.

Aj Styles defeated Sheamus

In the first time ever meeting, this match really showcased a good match. The two went for it, but it was Sheamus that was getting the upper hand for the most part. However, Styles, picked up the win with a little psychology. Missing the Brogue kick, Sheamus fell backwards and boom the Phenomenal Forearm knocked his ass out, letting Styles pick up the win before Gallows and Anderson came to the ramp to see what’s up. Styles has been on fire since coming into the WWE, even though Jericho buried him.

The WWE Tag Team tournament continued a bit, with promos getting cut by The New Day, The Vaudevillains and Enzo and Cass. It was ok, nothing too exciting. No action.

Gallows and Anderson's New Gear Is Like Nasty Boys 2.0

Gallows and Anderson defeated The Usos

Why did the team of Gallows and Anderson look like The Nasty Boys? Just saying. Nasty Boys 2.0, you heard it here first. This was an ok match, not what I expected, but hey, not everything can be a technical masterpiece, right? Overall, good flow, and of course The Bullet Club wins.

Roman Reigns easily took care of the Bullet Club after the match, in my view, burying them. Ok, maybe not, but come on. It would’ve looked way better of the Bullet Club beat down Reigns, but you know he’s the new Superman.

Sami Zayn defeated Rusev

Rusev controlled most of this match, and it was entertaining. However, Zayn wins with a random roll up ala 1992 WCW. I didn’t like the finish, but the rest of the match had some good points.

Ambrose came out to cut a promo on Jericho. Jericho came out and ranted, as usual. Another boring segment. I hate these. Jericho got the best of Ambrose, and gave him the Walls of Jericho on the announcer’s table. Yep. Nothing to see here folks.

As much as I liked the Chyna video tribute. Let’s not forget that the WWE, and Triple H specifically buried her many times in interviews and even in podcasts. This type of hypocrisy by the WWE is stupid, and disingenuous to the fact that Chyna was not well loved in the WWE before she died. I’m sorry, I can’t get behind this. WWE’s revisionist history is insane. RIP Chyna, sorry for the disingenuous attitudes. I wish people showed you love before you died, perhaps it would’ve helped more.

Aj Styles Getting Blasted While The Nasty Boys 2.0 Look On

Roman Reigns defeated Alberto Del Rio

So Roman buries Alberto Del Rio, oh well. The match was boring, the crowd wasn’t into it. Aj Styles comes out after Gallows and Anderson come down to fight Roman Reigns, only to get Superman Punched for his help. The question is, like the classic WCW world, is Aj Styles in collusion with The bullet Club? Well, A Phenomenal Forearm knocked out Reigns, so maybe he is in cahoots? I don’t know? Collusion? I don’t know. We’ll see at Payback, right?

Overall Rating: 5 out of 10

The Hulu edition of Raw had a lot more talking and promos than they had wrestling. I would prefer more wrestling, but hey, that’s me. It’s nice to see new matches, and Payback should be interesting, although Roman is going over. Simple as that.
