WWE Monday Night Raw January 8, 2018 Results and Review Dumpster Fires Keep Burning

The Best Part of Raw - SOURCE wwe dot com
Well, well, another Raw was in the books, and honestly, I didn’t really want to talk about it. However, it is Thursday and I decided that it was time to look into Raw as I watched it on HULU, and well, I’m surprised that I didn’t just give up on the writing of this review. Here’s the reviews overall.

The Balor Club confronted The New Shield

This was dumb. I’m tired of the shows starting with all talking. This was just boring to see, and while it ended fine, it was just stupid. The Balor Club is nothing more than a bunch of jobbers.

Sasha Banks and Bayley defeated Mandy Rose and Sonya Deville

By having the good guys going over on both shows, why are these new factions a threat? They have won nothing big, they aren’t proving to be much of a threat, and well, it’s the absolutely worst thing. This is something that is NOT like the NOW invasion, and it’s sad. This match was fine, but it was hilarious to see the bad guys lose yet again.

Matt Hardy defeated Curt Hawkins

Hawkins loses again. Nothing to write home about here.

Cedric Alexander defeated Enzo Amore via Countout

This was a lousy match, and wow, just terrible. Alexander did do a great deal of moves, and legitimately cut Enzo open over his eye. Amore then seemed to get an ankle injury and got himself counted out. This wasn’t a terrible match, but it was far from good, that’s for sure.

Titus Worldwide defeated Cesaro and Sheamus

This was not shown on HULU

Braun Strowman Attacked Lesnar and Kane

This was after Heyman came out and cut his old promo. I’ve heard it so much, I am tired of hearing it. Braun Strowman came out after Kane and Lesnar fought to the back, and threw a grappling hook onto a set and dropped it on top of Lesnar and Kane. It was hella fake, but hey, it’s WWE, right?

Samoa Joe defeated Rhyno

This was a burial, and well, Joe may have hurt his foot.

Nia Jax attacked Asuka

It is what it is, not a match.

The Balor Club defeated The New Shield

I didn’t really pay attention to this match, but it went ok. The Balor Club won, and that was that.

I get it, this is a weak review. It was a weak Raw, what can I say? There wasn’t much in terms of wrestling, with few matches, and a lot of talking. The roster is huge, and yet we see the same things over and over again. The story lines are lazy, the show is dragging, and it feels like this is 9 hours long. Oh well.

WWE Monday Night Raw December 25, 2017 Results and Review Chicago Still Loves Punk

The ZO Train - SRC WWE dot com
The biggest thing that I recall from the start of Raw was not the people involved, but the crowd. The crowd was chanting CM Punk for the whole thing. They were going crazy with the Punk chants, and that’s something that is absolutely fun to see and hear, I’m sure. I was loving that.

Elias and Cena’s opening segment was good, and Elias is gold on the mic, if you ask me. That was a great way to open things up, and get Cena roped in, only for him to sucker punch him and start the night of wrestling.

John Cena defeated Elias

Elias took control over all of this match. Cena was behind throughout, and Elias looked like a million bucks, that is until he met John Cena’s five moves of doom. As much as you can hate on Cena, he is so crisp in the ring sometimes, and he did well to let Elias have a lot of his offense in this match, but it proves ineffective if he never loses, and well, he lost this one thanks to Cena and the crowd ate it up. I liked it, a good match, for the most part.

Hideo Itami defeated The Brian Kendrick

Itami looks like a shell of his former self. He won this match, and it was awful. I didn’t like this at all. It was boring. The Brian Kendrick’s wrestling is a bit slower, more methodical now, and it’s just not as good as when he was flying around. I get it. I get it, but Itami here just doesn’t look great. I also don’t like to hear him yelling “RESPECT ME”, which is stupid. I hate that. Stop it. I’m not going to respect someone that’s yelling at me to respect them. It’s stupid.

Absolution defeated Sasha Banks, Bayley and Mickie James

If you didn’t think that the RAW brand was the number one show for the WWE, then watch this. Absolution won again, but the Riot Squad didn’t win on Smackdown. Oh well. Anyways, this match wasn’t half bad, it had a lot of back and forth, with a beat down that would end up getting Paige over more than anything. It’s funny, Paige has 40 new videos leaked, and it seems like no one knows. Not a bad match, not a crazy good one, but it had enough gusto to work.

Kane defeated Heath Slater

He didn’t win, he buried Slater. Heath Slater and Rhyno were great. They were getting a lot of crowd response, and then what? Dead. They are gone, and buried. I didn’t like this match. There was a sign in the crowd telling Kane to go back to being mayor or something. This was abysmal.

Finn Balor defeated Curt Hawkins

Well, here we go again, another burial. Curt Hawkins buried. There’s not much else for this. It’s a burial.

Matt Hardy attacked Bray Wyatt

That’s it. Hardy showed up and beat up Bray Wyatt, that was it. Meh.

Cedric Alexander, Mustafa Ali, and Akira Tozawa defeated Enzo Amore, Drew Gulak, and Ariya Daivari in a Miracle on 34 TH Street Fight Match

This was like watching old ECW, and it wasn’t that bad. I loved the guys dressing up and it was fun to see. However, the crowd wasn’t that into it. The ZO train loses here, and it’s a fun match to see. Lots of action, back and forth, and great hardcore rules. I had fun, I don’t know what else to say. Everyone got their stuff in by the way, good stuff. If you’re going to watch the show and want to skip a lot, don’t skip this one, it’s fun.

Samoa Joe defeated Roman Reigns by DQ

This was a good back and forth match. Roman Reigns wasn’t bad, but Joe would lose here. Lots of action here, Joe hit his moves, Reigns hit all of his moves, and eventually he ended up going too far and causing the disqualification. That was the end of the match, for the most part. Don’t skip this one either, it was a good match.

Braun Strowman defeated The Miztourage in a secret santa match

Strowman buried the Miztourage. Meh.

Asuka is In The Rumble

Asuka came out and knocked out Alexa Bliss after saying she’s in the Rumble, in broken English.

Seth Rollins and Jason Jordan defeated Cesaro and Sheamus for the WWE Tag Team Champions

This wasn’t a terrible match, mind you. It had some great moments and lots of back and forth action. The teams are great, but in the end, it was Jason Jordan and Rollins that would get the big win. Perhaps this win was because Sheamus has a legit injury. I don’t know. Either way, the show ended with Jordan winning and Rollins holding the titles high. A good way to end the night, and something to watch out for, a classic moment for Raw.

There you go, Raw goes well tonight, and it’s not grand, but it went well for the most part. Enzo almost kissed Nia Jax, The Miztourage were singing and giving away gifts, and it was a funny night. Not bad. Not great.

WWE Monday Night Raw September 25, 2017 Results and Review The Enzo Amore Show

Enzo Gets A Beating - SRC WWE DOT COM
Just when you thought I went to sleep instead of watching Monday Night Raw, I’m back with another review. This time around we’re going to be looking back at the September 25, 2017 show that had the Bullet Club invading the WWE. Actually, they just stood outside and tried to get attention. This wasn’t nearly as big as what the WWE did to WCW, and comparisons to that are stupid, because ROH and other companies aren’t nearly as big as WWE or WCW for that matter.

The show was live from Ontario, California, just a stones throw away from what I used to live, and it was heated. The venue isn’t that big, so there were probably no empty seats. The show kicked off nicely, and put things into high gear, at least for the HULU version, which is what I’m going to be discussing here.

WWE Monday Night Raw September 25, 2017 Results and Review

Roman Reigns and The Miz started off the show with The Miz getting the better of Roman on the mic, and the crowd firmly behind Miz and his cronies. The MIz at one point decided to just leave after berating Roman, but Kurt Angle came out and set up a couple of matches that features the trio, and that’s the crux of the show.

Matt Hardy and Jason Jordan defeated The MIztourage

The Miztourage are nothing but jobbers. I guess there are worse ways to make a living, but they lost handedly by Matt Hardy and Jason Jordan. This was a fast paced match, and it got the crowd going wild, which is always a great thing. I had a little fun watching this, and you probably enjoyed this one too. It’s a good match, although I’m tired of seeing the Miztourage getting pummeled each week. At least the Flock and the Nest had wins when they were with Raven. These guys aren’t even getting a second look.

Elias defeated Apollo Crews

This was not shown on HULU.

Braun Strowman attacked Curt Hawkins

This was just awful. This was absolutely just bad. Hawkins gets beat up, and still buried. I guess there’s worse ways to make a living, right?

Braun Strowman defeated Dean Ambrose

This match was what you’d expect, Strowman plowed through Ambrose. Ambrose had a little offense, but not nearly as much as you’d expect, and Strowman wins again. Next week he will face off against Seth Rollins and win again. However, I don’t find him to be a formidable opponent for anyone because Lesnar beat him clean in the middle of the ring at the PPV.

Mickie James came out to fight Alexa Bliss

Mickie James didn’t get much of a crowd reaction when she confronted Alexa Bliss. I guess this is the next feud? Ok. James is on her way out, I can sense it. Bliss is great here, and I like her.

Seth Rollins defeated Sheamus

Sheamus had most of the offense in this match, and it wasn’t that bad. Rollins is boring to me, and very predictable, as is Ambrose. Sheamus got cocky at one point and lost when Rollins was able to take advantage of several mistakes that Sheamus had. Not a terrible match, but far from the best.

Roman Reigns defeated The Miz

This was not much of a match, Roman Reigns beat down MIz and won relatively well. Even with the Miztourage helping out, Reigns wasn’t going down, and the Miz lost clean. After the match the trio beat the holy crap out of Reigns with a chair, and the other guys from the shield did not show up. So screw them. I still hate Reigns.

Finn Balor defeated Goldust

This was not shown on HULU

Bayley and Sasha Banks defeated Nia Jax and Emma

This was not shown on HULU

The Cruiserweight Division gave Enzo Amore a Beat Down

Enzo Amore came out and cut a scathing promo, but the 205 Live crew came out and confronted him. Neville talked a great deal then beat the tar out of Amore, and then the rest of the crew came down and beat him up. Then Braun Strowman came out and beat him up too. Either way, Amore is getting beat down and taking a lot of heat. I’ll definitely be tuning in to 205 Live to see how this works itself out. However, the idea of an outcast as champion, and the whole crew beating him up is not my favorite of stories. I want him to overcome.

So there you have it, Raw was ok at best. I didn’t really see any furtherment of story lines, and according to the Tuna Metlzer, the WWE doesn’t care about the stories because they are making money hand over fist regardless of what they do. That is showing with this lack luster show that was very long, even on HULU. Not a great night of wrestling, if you can call it that anymore.

WWE Monday Night Raw June 26, 2017 Results and Review The Return of The Boss

The Legit Boss Returned - WWE.com SRC
Monday Night Raw was live from the Staples Center in Los Angeles. That’s a building I know all too well. I saw Unforgiven twice there, and I saw Wrestlemania there, as well as seeing a live WWE Smackdown from the fourth row no less. I even had Scotty Too Hotty jump into the crowd where I was at. Overall, I’ve been fortunate to see a lot of action in the arena, but nothing quite like what happened on Raw. In fact, I’ve never been to a WWE Monday Night Raw taping, so there’s that. Whatever the case is, on January 26, the Raw brand was in Los Angeles for one hell of a show, and I saw the HULU version, so that’s what I will talk about going forward.

WWE Monday Night Raw January 26, 2017 Review

Roman Reigns Opens Show, Gets Thrown Into Ambulance

The show opened up with Roman Reigns getting booed out of the building. I know they weren’t saying BOO URNS, but if I were there, I probably would have been. An ambulance showed up and out came Brown Shoeman. He attacked Reigns then chucked him off the stage into the ambulance like a lawn dart, or like Rey Mysterio circa WCW 1996. Reigns was then thrown into the ambulance and that was that. Good opener, although, I don’t like Brown Shoeman or Roman “Boring” Reigns.

Fin Balor and the Hardy Boyz defeated Elias Samson, Cesaro, and Sheamus

This was a fun match, but it started with Elias Samson about to sing a song. He was interrupted, and the match was on. A standard six man tag, with Balor getting the big pinfall, but not without the other guys throwing down some great tag team moves, and out of the ring action. A fast paced opener that I loved, but probably didn’t get too much love from anyone else.

Miz TV With The Ball Family

Apparently there was a match after this segment, but the HULU version did not show that. Instead it was just Miz TV with the Ball family, and I thought it was hilarious. It was definitely entertaining, if you knew who the Ball family is. If you didn’t, well then you didn’t like this, because you didn’t know who the hell they were.

Big Cass Hugged Enzo, Then Threw Him Down The Stage

Big Cass did a nice job selling the reunion, only to then get Enzo beat up and literally tossed down the ramp. Enzo rolled to his death, and Cass was left standing tall. A few moments later he confronted Corey Graves and said that he would ring his neck if he could, but he couldn’t, and therefore he was going to warn him and that’s it. Enzo’s done folks, Cass is the guy the WWE is going with.

Seth Rollins defeated Curt Hawkins

Not a complete burial, but Hawkins was not going to win this one. I’m a fan of Hawkins, but he’s wasted here, getting buried by Rollins.

Samoa Joe Nearly Kills Brock Lesnar (not a joke)

Samoa Joe is made to look like a total beast as he put on his finisher on Lesnar. Lesnar was turning purple and couldn’t get out of the chokehold. I’m not sure if Joe could take out Lesnar in a real UFC fight, but the WWE is doing a good job of making me believe that he has a shot at winning the title at the ppv. I don’t know if he will, but if he does, wow, congrats to WWE for making one hell of a main event on a badly named PPV.

Sasha Banks won a women’s Guantlet Match to get a title shot at Alexa Bliss

Holy crap, the booking is off the rails for the women. Last week, they barely got attention, this week, they get the main event! I loved it! I loved the story the women told here. Nia Jax took on the whole roster and won. She beat Bayley first of all, which was great for me. Then she beat every woman on the Raw roster, except the champion, and when Banks came out, put on a strong showing, but obviously winded and tired, which is why Banks got the big win with the Bank Statement! I loved it, Jax taps out, and that’s the end of the show folks.

Raw was good on HULU. I didn’t see the 3 hour show, and it looks like a lot more happened. I do not know why the WWE decides to cut out so much on HULU’s Raw show, versus the rest of their shows, but they do. This was a good, entertaining showcase if you ask me.

WWE Monday Night Raw April 11, 2017 Results and Review 7 Burials of Raw

Look At The Wheel, Morons, They Can't Make Anything Look Real - SRC wwe.com
Why did this night feel like it was 9 hours long? I watched a version that I found on Youtube, without commercials, and it still felt like it was too long, without any of the commercials. As you may know the WWE claimed there was going to be a shake up going on, and well, they did shake things up. However, it was more like a kid shaking up a soda and then opening it. You’ll find out as I try to make sense of all of this b.s. that the company is throwing at us. Including some nonsensical moves, that just seems, well, special.

WWE Monday Night Raw April 11, 2017 Results

The Revival defeated The New Day (BURIAL)
Big Show knocked out Curt Hawkins (Burial Number 2)
Tj Perkins defeated Austin Aries (Burial Number 3)
Nia Jax defeated Charlotte Flair (Burial Number 4)
Finn Balor defeated Jinder Mahal (Burial Number 5)
Sami Zayn defeated The Miz (Burial Number 6)
Dean Ambrose defeated Kevin Owens (Burial Number 7)

WWE Monday Night Raw April 11, 2017 Review

With the shake up tonight, there were a lot of burials. Don’t believe me? Well let’s consider this night of Raw, which seemed to last 9 hours!

Dean Ambrose came out and thought that John Cena was really in the ring, but it was The Miz. The show started with two acquisitions. It was dumb. Dean Ambrose is playing goofy Ambrose.

The Revival defeated The New Day (BURIAL)

The Revival took a lot of boots from The New Day. The New Day showed up with a Kofi Kingston blow up doll. The Revival would win, after a back and forth bout, and that’s the end. The New Day is buried, and will most likely be on Smackdown, if you ask me.

Big Show knocked out Curt Hawkins (Burial Number 2)

Curt Hawkins got buried. I hated it. I like Curt Hawkins.

Tj Perkins defeated Austin Aries (Burial Number 3)

Austin Aries, the number one contender, lost to Tj Perkins. Perkins is great, don’t get me wrong, but he has been on a losing streak for some time. This seems odd to me. Good match though. Possibly best of the night.

Nia Jax defeated Charlotte Flair (Burial Number 4)

Charlotte Flair must be going to Smackdown. She was buried tonight.

Finn Balor defeated Jinder Mahal (Burial Number 5)

Finn Balor buried JInder my Balls, and Bray Wyatt announced that he was going to take him on. Finn Balor will beat Wyatt, and Mahal is buried yet again.

Sami Zayn defeated The Miz (Burial Number 6)

The Miz got buried by Sami Zayn. Wow. So much for that jump.

Dean Ambrose defeated Kevin Owens (Burial Number 7)

Michael Cole said, “Ambrose buries Kevin Owens with dirty deeds”, and that’s that. It was bad. Dean Ambrose continues to wrestle the same match over and over again.

Also, Roman Reigns was buried by Strowman. People cheered Strowman. Strowman will get his burial later, as Reigns is NOT going to lose that feud. This night seemed like 9 hours of Raw. I’m tired. The Shield is back.

WWE Smackdown Live Results and Review April 4, 2017 Results and Review Same Old BS

SRC WWE.Com - Randy Orton Gets The Title For Getting Buried by Brock At Summerslam
I am not reviewing Raw. I didn’t get to watch it. I tried to watch it 3 times, but I just couldn’t get a stream. So I gave up on that. HULU is not updating their servers as fast, so I gave up on that.

As for WWE Smackdown Live, I did see that this morning, after a McDonald’s breakfast, orange juice, and a Red Bull. Then I saw 205 Live, and you know what? This is all so predictable. I can’t believe how predictable this show is and was. Let’s discuss this for a moment, but only a moment, because this night of Smackdown was not great.

WWE Smackdown Live April 4, 2017 Results

Naomi defeated Alexa Bliss (WWE Smackdown Women’s Title)
Tye Dillinger defeated Curt Hawkins
Baron Corbin defeated Dean Ambrose in a street fight
Randy Orton and Luke Harper defeated Bray Wyatt and Erick Rowan

WWE Smackdown Live April 4, 2017 Review

This was an awful show. It may have been sold out, but it was in no way fun. Orton came out and was phoning it in, then Bray Wyatt showed up on the screen and said that the two will go at it in a “house of horrors” match, or something like that. I don’t remember. Then Bray shows up with Erick Rowan and they get beat up by Orton and Luke Harper. Predictable.

Naomi defeated Alexa Bliss (WWE Smackdown Women’s Title)

Alexa Bliss and Naomi battled in a women’s title match, and it wasn’t very long. It was short, boring and Bliss loses. I like Naomi, but I wish that there were longer matches on Smackdown.

Tye Dillinger defeated Curt Hawkins

Curt Hawkins gets buried. Tye Dillinger was getting 10 chants, and I think he’s great. But he didn’t finish he business he had with NXT’s Sanity. Oh well. Hawkins can’t be buried, since he’s already past dead. Oh well.

Baron Corbin defeated Dean Ambrose in a street fight

I thought this was a match for the Intercontinental Title, it wasn’t. Even in this match, Dean Ambrose was phoning it in. He wrestles the same matches every single time I see him in the ring. This was another cookie cutter match, and Corbin won, only there wasn’t the title on the line, so this is a stupid match concept for nothing. Ambrose loses, is still champion, and that’s it. Good match, but predictable.

Randy Orton and Luke Harper defeated Bray Wyatt and Erick Rowan

Another boring match, that I gave up on in the middle of the whole thing. It was so lackluster, you can’t possibly of liked this again. I was bored. I gave up, and the winners were telegraphed.

Mauro Renallo is done. You heard it here first. Renallo is getting replaced by Jim Ross. That’s just my two cents.

WWE Elimination Chamber 2017 Results and Review The Most Predictable Finish or The Fat Era

Steiner Says Bray Wyatt Is Fat. "HE'S FAT!" The Fat Era is here folks
Last night my wife made me a special dinner since my birthday is this week. She made me a steak, and an awesome chocolate and banana gluten free cake. It was special, and that made this night of wrestling a bit more special too. It's been a long time since I've been made to feel special, so I cherished the night.

WWE Elimination Chamber 2017 Results

Mojo Rawley defeated Curt Hawkins
Becky Lynch defeated Mickie James
Kalisto and Apollo Crews defeated Dolph Ziggler
American Alpha won a tag team turmoil match
Nikki Bella vs. Natalya ended in a double countout
Naomi defeated Alexa Bliss for the Women’s Championship
Bray Wyatt defeated John Cena, The Miz, Baron Corbin, Aj Styles, and Dean Ambrose in the elimination chamber match

Mojo Rawley defeated Curt Hawkins

I may be the only Curt Hawkins fan. I may be the only person rooting for the guy, and loved his vignettes. Mojo wins this match, in a hard hitting affair, that was in the pre-show. It wasn’t terrible. It was fun for an opener, and it really made me wish I lived closer to the event, as I would’ve gone, no doubt.

Becky Lynch defeated Mickie James

Mickie James should’ve won this match. This was a pure wrestling match, folks. I loved how well this went, even though I didn’t love the ending. James and Lynch work really well as pure wrestlers, no doubt. This match went well, although the crowd seemed dead for it.

Kalisto and Apollo Crews defeated Dolph Ziggler

Dolph Ziggler got super cheered here. He beat down Kalisto up front, then ran down and beat up Apoloo Crews, but Kalisto came back to beat him. But of course, Ziggler got mad and grabbed a chair and beat the two guys up. But here’s the kicker, the crowd was chanting “Thank You Ziggler”.

American Alpha won a tag team turmoil match

I didn’t like this match. Rhyno and Heath Slater should’ve won this match. The crowd was going absolutely nuts for this. American Alpha would get beat down by the Uso brothers, but the Ascension would come out to clean up the bones. Nope. American Alpha win, even though they were dead after the Usos. I didn’t like this booking, but hey, it is what it is.

Nikki Bella vs. Natalya ended in a double countout

This was a fight. A great fight, with Natalya proving that she’s amazing. Nikki is vastly improved, but these two women just got into a fight that ended in a countout. In the backstage area they fought more, and Maryse got embarrassed. So maybe that will set up a match? I don’t know. I know, it seems odd, but if you watch the show, you’ll see what happened.

Naomi defeated Alexa Bliss for the Women’s Championship

Naomi deserves this so much, and the crowd was chanting it. She is awesome. Her timing is great, Bliss seemed rattled, and Naomi felt the glow, and won big. I loved this match, and the crowd was going nuts for her win. Naomi, wow, what a victory. I’ve not felt so proud of a wrestler in a long time, this was great.

Bray Wyatt defeated John Cena, The Miz, Baron Corbin, Aj Styles, and Dean Ambrose in the elimination chamber match

Bray Wyatt won in the most predictable chamber match. I saw on Twitter that people were so astonished about this. I wasn’t. I called it. Every podcast, and every dirt sheet said it would happen, and that’s it. Bray Wyatt wins, and is the new champion. I don’t care. You didn’t care, Corbin looked like a chump getting rolled up for the loss, by the way. I didn’t care for this main event. Oh, and the chamber has been redesigned to look soft. SAWFT! Lame. That was that.

Overall, I’d give this PPV a solid C plus. I had some fun, but it wasn’t as great as the Royal Rumble for me, so that’s that. I know, not a popular opinion.

WWE Superstars 2/10/11 Results and Review

Looks like a few friends came through, and I finally get to watch the Thursday wrestling shows. This should be great, for the blog, not necessarily for me and you, because as we know, Thursday night wrestling isn't exactly 4 or 5 stars.

WWE Superstars 2/10/11 Review

I was hoping that we'd get another classic here, since the divas are sometimes given some better matches on the Thursday show, but that wasn't the case here. Natalya was impressive here, but things weren't without mistakes. Natalya botched a few power moves and Alicia Fox flubbed a few spots as well. The sharpshooter would eventually give the former divas champion the win. Not a terrible match, but not necessarily a great one.

Natalya defeated Alicia Fox

If you missed Raw you got a crash course at this point as a full recap of the main event and the rest of the show was highlighted here.

Up next the Usos were completley buried by The Great Khali. Khali beat up both men and then just danced for the crowd.

The Great Khali defeated The Usos

Curt Hawkins and TYler Reks put on a watchable match. Reks is a monster, and Hawkins can at least bump. This wasn't anything too special, but there were some nice moments including the finisher from Reks. They're calling it the "Burning Hammer". Hawkins was essentially buried here.

Tyler Reks defeated Curt Hawkins

I'll be one of the only idiots that will say this, Triple H's new movie isn't nearly as bad as some of the other films I've seen in my life...doesn't anyone remember "Suburban COmmando"?

Jack Swagger came out next and took on one of the Dudebusters, and while the two put on an interesting show, the crowd was dead and no one cared. Swagger got the win, in impressive form, but like I said, no one cared.

Jack Swagger defeated Trent Barretta

Overall Superstars is NOT anything you want to watch on a Thursday. I am glad I missed the past two weeks, as this show is really not as good as the WWE once thought it would be. There are very few major stars on it, there aren't a lot of great match ups, and it's just another wasted hour of wrestling programming. I truly hope they can make the show stand out somehow, otherwise, it's just wasting everyone's time.

WWE Superstars 1/13/10 REsults

Chris Masters & JTG defeated Chavo Guerrero & Curt Hawkins
Gail Kim defeated Alicia Fox
Primo, Darren Young, DH Smith, and Yoshi Tatsu defeated The Usos, William Regal, and Zack Ryder

WWE Superstars 1/13/10 Review

Chris Masters & JTG defeated Chavo Guerrero & Curt Hawkins

If I saw this match live, I would mark out huge, but on tv? This is not a great match to watch. IT had a lot of slow downs and not too much action. JTG was able to liven up the mood, and Hawkins can bump, but Masters and Chavo made this one slower than I'd like it to be. The match would eventually end with realitive ease from Masters.

Gail Kim defeated Alicia Fox

This was the most exciting divas match I've seen in a long time. There were a few major hits, but it was all Gail Kim in this one. I loved it. Her missile drop kick is picture perfect and I'm amazed that the divas don't get more quality matches like this. Gail Kim wins, and that's the end of that.

Primo, Darren Young, DH Smith, and Yoshi Tatsu defeated The Usos, William Regal, and Zack Ryder

This match wasn't half bad, it had a lot of back and forth action, a lot of quick tags, and quality moments to watch. The match went for a good amount of time, and it was interesting to see this unfold. After a good amount of time, the ring cleared and left Zack Ryder and Yoshi Tatsu alone in the ring, which would end in predictable fashion...Tatsu knocks out Ryder and that is the end of that.

The first Superstars that I could watch, and it's Jack Korpel and Matt Striker on commentary and out comes JTG to face Tyler Reks. I liked the surfer gimmick, but that was just me. This kind of "Conan" gimmick, is boring to me.

Tyler Reks defeated JTG

This match surprised me, Tyler Reks usually plows through his oppnents with relative ease and I thought this match was going to be another squash. However, this match had JTG hitting some nice moves and hard moves against Reks, but just when I thought to mention that, Reks hit his finisher and this thing was all over. Reks wins, and no one in the crowd cared. He's not that good.

Chris Masters defeated Curt Hawkins

This match wasn't all that great, it bored me really. Chris Masters put short work into defeating Curt Hawkins and the match was easily over after a few power moves. I didn't care.

I'm not watching NXT, I don't care.

Yoshi Tatsu defeated Zack Ryder

Zack Ryder loses this contest and it was a good back and forth affair. It really is a weird match up, and I'm not sure why Ryder doesn't get a better push. This match had a lot of action, lots of good moments, but it just didn't amount to much fan fare. Tatsu hit some sick kicks and eventually beat Ryder. Zack Ryder could be such a huge star, and yet they don't use him. I don't know.

Tyson Kidd & Ted Dibiase Jr defeated Daniel Bryan & Mark Henry

This boring match had some good action here and there. It had a lot of moments that were fast, and obviously foreshadowing the future, but after Daniel Bryan kept going for his finisher, this thing sunk. Tyson Kidd hit a nice neck breaker and pinned Bryan.

Overall not a great show, and I really am not sure why the WWE keeps putting this show out, it's not nearly as good as either major shows on Mondays and Fridays, and really is just a filler show that bores me.

WWE Superstars 12/16/10 Results and Review

WWE Superstars 12/16/10 Results

JTG defeated Curt Hawkins
Zack Ryder defeated Darren Young
Drew McIntyre defeated Yoshi Tatsu

WWE Superstars 12/16/10 Review

Before I get into the review, I'd like to ask any reader out there to utilize the amazon.com links on this site to purchase items from them. I could use any help I can get in terms of making extra money, as I have no job, and there's no presents or even a tree at my house this year. We just have no money to spare. I get internet access from the library, so these reviews and shows are thanks to my local public library. If they close down, I wouldn't have a blog anymore.

And now, the review:

JTG defeated Curt Hawkins

JTG needs to get back with Shad and they need to reform their tag team. This match wasn't half bad, but the commentary and the "piped" in sounds were terrible. The match started slowly, but eventually went forward and started to pick up steam after Hawkins made this into a snooze fest. JTG has some good offense, and after hitting The Shout Out, Hawkins was put away.

This match wasn't that great, but JTG could be finally getting a push. He can talk on the mic, he has a persona, and maybe people like him enough to see him as a contender for one of the mid-card titles, maybe.

NXT looks ok this season, but I never watch, cause I can't stand internet shows.

Zack Ryder defeated Darren Young

Darren Young is really making a name for himself, and I really like him. I could see him showing up to help thwart NXT and I loved when he returned and said that he wasn't the weak link, he was the missing link, and BOOOM got taken out. I'd love to see him comeback and mop up. He's got a new hairstyle. I wanted to note that Superstars, during this match, had a different camera and it was really stupid, it was too close, and the cuts were odd, it was a weird looking thing.

The match was fast moving, and wasn't half bad. Zack Ryder hit a nice stand up neck breaker, and he continued to be his persona through out his offense. Darren Young can really take a beating, which is interesting. Ryder hit the Rough Ryder (leaping leg drop) and Darren Young once again loses. I liked the match enough, but Ryder deserves more. He should be fighting for a midcard belt too.

Drew McIntyre defeated Yoshi Tatsu

Drew McIntyre and Yoshi Tatsu were given a good amount of time, and it wasn't half bad, it was interesting and went back and forth. Drew eventually won, but it was just didn't matter, he sucks. I think he sucks, and well, Tatsu's gimmick can only get him so far. The match eventually finished and that was that, just another win.

Overall Superstars wasn't that good, it had a couple of good moments, but overall it just wasn't worth watching. I could've done without it. I wish the WWE would tie in more stories from Raw and Smackdown on to the show, and then maybe I could care more for it. As a pure wrestling show, it's not half bad, so I guess they have that going for it.

I would please ask anyone that shops on amazon.com, to use the links in the sidebar, and support this site.

WWE Superstars 11/25/10 Results and Review

WWE Superstars 11/25/10 Results

Curt Hawkins defeated Trent Barretta
Santino & Kozlov defeated Primo & Zack Ryder
Mark Henry defeated The Usos

WWE Superstars 11/25/10 Review

I'm not a big fan of thanksgiving, so therefore, I watched wrestling last night. Plus, with no job, no prospects, and fighting depression, i've been a bit tired of the joyful cheer of the season that is coming.

Superstars aired on Thanksgiving, and wow...maybe I already saw all this, or maybe it's new...who knows...the dubbed in heat and cheers suck.

Curt Hawkins defeated Trent Barretta

This match had a lot of highlights and good overall spots. I liked it, I thought this match was in fact the most entertaining thing I've seen in a while. However, despite a great deal of high impact spots, and good overall wrestling, it had no meaning and no real story behind it, other than the rematch thing. I liked it, it is nice to see some good classic wrestling.

Santino & Kozlov defeated Primo & Zack Ryder

I liked that Zack Ryder was being used for a match, but it was all a job. Santino and Kozlov get the win and the good crowd reaction. The Cobra is the thing that knocked out Primo, and he took the pinfall here. I wouldn't be too surprised if Santino and Kozlov eventually get the tag team championships, because they are just that entertaining, and get a real reaction, more so than the current champions, that's for sure.

Mark Henry defeated The Usos

The Usos put on a few moves, but it was no match for Mark Henry. Mark Henry beat the former contenders for the Tag team titles, and it was interesting to see that Henry is being pushed to squash the tag division. The match was what you would expect, but hey, on Thanksgiving day, it's nice to get some wrestling.

All in all, not a terrible show, not a great one either, I liked it enough. Good overall wrestling, nothing too extreme, and well, it's thanksgiving, what did you expect? I'll have an impact review a little later in the day.

WWE Superstars 11/18/10 Results

Chavo defeated JTG
Trent Barretta defeated CUrt Hawkins
Yoshi defeated Primo Colon
Melina & Gail Kim defeated Alicia Fox & Maryse

WWE Superstars 11/18/10 Review

Chavo defeated JTG

JTG needs big Shad to make his gimmick work, because a solo "gangsta" just seems odd. In fact, WWE should call up New Jack and have him manage the team of JTG and Shad as the "Gangstas" but that's just a quick idea, it probably won't go anywhere. Chavo and JTG put on an ok job, but not necessarily a great one. There were a few good spots, but overall, it wasn't exactly an all star classic.

Trent Barretta defeated CUrt Hawkins

This match was a quick paced, high offense match up. Trent was flying through spots, while Hawkins tried to slow down the pace. This match was just plain, nothing too exciting. It had enough nice spots, but overall, it just seem tired to me.

Yoshi defeated Primo Colon

Primo and Yoshi put together a halfway decent match up, and it was cool to hear the new commentator with CM Punk on color commentary. The match eventually ended with Yoshi picking up the win.

Melina & Gail Kim defeated Alicia Fox & Maryse

A longer divas match than in recent months, but that doesn't make it that much better. There were a few good spots, but nothing to really write home about. I enjoyed it enough, and the good girls get the win. Gail Kim and Melina get the win.

This show was definitely the "C" show, as it wasn't all that great, but it did offer some good spots here and there. All eyes are on Survivor Series and whether or not John Cena will turn heel.

WWE Superstars 10/28/10 Results

For the first time in a long time, NO ONE had updated WWE Superstars. Not a torrent site, not youtube, and not any of my sources, so I didn't watch the show. I know, that's lame. Here's the results, and maybe next week, someone will have it up.

WWE Superstars 10/14/10 Results and Review

WWE Superstars 10/14/10 Results

Kelly Kelly defeated Layla
Curt Hawkins defeated Trent Barreta
Darren Young defeated Primo
Melina defeated Alicia Fox

WWE Superstars 10/14/10 Review

Kelly Kelly defeated Layla

This match was ok at best. It wasn't a terrible match, and it wasn't a complete mess, but it wasn't great either. Kelly Kelly has definitely improved with her timing, and Layla is entertaining as ever. Natalya's dress was arousal inducing, for sure, but the match was ok. Lots of safe offense, nothing too crazy, and watchable. Kelly Kelly got the win with a roll up and that's that.

The New Big Show Movie looks funny.

Curt Hawkins defeated Trent Barreta

This match was your standard jobbers match, if you ask me (which you didn't), and it wasn't half bad. Curt Hawkins has a little "it" factor, and his music isn't half bad. He seems like the second coming of Edge and I think he can really be something, especially with that excellent "heat seeking elbow" which is the best elbow I've seen in a while. I'm not sure if he'll get anything in the form of main event push in the near future, but I liked the match enough.

Darren Young defeated Primo

I can't believe that Darren Young is doing so well. This match was back and forth and wasn't half bad. Darren Young was really pushing forward and he has a lot of great timing, and Primo's no slouch either. I loved the ending too, Darren Young has a nice full-nelson face plant finisher which was definitely a positive thing. Darren Young could end up being one of the better rookies, especially if they keep giving him opportunities like this. I'll even stop calling him the BLack John Cena if he keeps it up.

Melina defeated Alicia Fox

This match was ok, nothing too insane here. Both women botched moves, and both women had some highlights, but it wasn't anything too amazing. Watch the show in HD really made the diva's look nasty, especially with a LOT of make up on. Melina took some nice bumps, and her roll up bridge was impressive. I didn't hate this match, which is a plus, and of course Melina wins.

Overall, not a terrible night of wrestling. I liked the Darren Young match, and can see him as a viable competitor for WWE. I hope they give him something more than just bland "Black John Cena" stuff, but if not, oh well. As for the rest of the show? It was ok at best.

If you haven't already done so, I highly suggest ordering the Chris Jericho dvd set, it's seriously good.

WWE Friday Night Smackdown 9/24/10 Results and Review

WWE Friday Night Smackdown 9/24/10 Results

Kane defeated Chris Masters
Drew McIntyre & Dashing Cody Rhodes defeated The Hart Dynasty
Chavo Guerrero defeated Kaval
The Big Show defeated Curt Hawkins & Vance Archer
CM Punk defeated Luke Gallows
MVP defeated Dolph Ziggler via countout

WWE Friday Night Smackdown 9/24/10 Review

This was supposedly the last Smackdown on My Network.

Kane defeated Chris Masters

Chris Masters was completely buried in this match. Remember when Chris Masters was in the main event of ppv's? Yeah, neither do I. Kane wins...I hate kane, you don't care, and most of the WWE universe doesn't care.

Drew McIntyre & Dashing Cody Rhodes defeated The Hart Dynasty

Once again, the Hart Dynasty looks like idiots. They lose to a hot shot tag team and that was that. I wasn't impressed, you didn't care, and no one really cared. The bad guys win an easy match, the crowd wasn't even into it. The tag division is so sad these days.

Chavo Guerrero defeated Kaval

The crowd didn't care, but I might have cared a little bit. Chavo beat down Kaval and won. Kaval buried again. Chavo hasn't been relevant in a long time, and I do believe he's only kept on as a legacy.

Alberto Del Rio cut a promo and beat up Christian. Christian is having surgery, he's out. Del Rio continues to thrive.

Backstage, Undertaker looked like a beaten old man. I'm tired of him, he should retire soon.

The Big Show defeated Curt Hawkins & Vance Archer

Big Show wins again. No surprise here. The tag division is a big joke in wwe.

CM Punk defeated Luke Gallows

Luke Gallows and the straightedge society are done. At least that's what I think. Luke Gallows barely put up a fight against PUnk. Punk's stable could've been massive, instead, it's over. I'm sick of bad wrestling.

MVP defeated Dolph Ziggler via countout

Ziggler moves onto a new feud after facing Kofi 20 billion times. MVP was semi-over with the crowd and he was able to get in a lot of offense, but the champion was quite smart, as he eventually just left the ring with his title and let himself get counted out for the cheap win.

Kane came out to cut a promo, it was stupid. Undertaker had a casket rolled out to the ring and inside the casket...Paul Bearer...yep. That's it. Paul Bearer...yep. He'sback and he's scary...I don't care, you shouldn't care either.

I'm so sick...literally, I can't care about bad wrestling today. I'll be back later with more crap. I'm going to go lay down.

WWE Superstars 9/09/10 Results

R Truth defeated William Regal
Goldust & Gail Kim defeated Primo & Jillian
The Dudebusters defeated Archer & Hawkins
Big Show defeated Luke Gallows

WWE Superstars 9/09/10 Review

R Truth defeated William Regal

When's the last time William Regal was a real threat? Regal got beat up here corner to corner, and while he did have some offense, this was mostly Truth's match. After a nice counter towards the end of the match, R Truth rolled up Regal and wont his match clean. Regal needs to hang it up, since he is not being used anywhere near main event status.

Goldust & Gail Kim defeated Primo & Jillian

Probably one of the best mix-tag matches I've ever seen. This match was just well timed, and got the crowd into the match up, and while there wasn't anything amazing in terms of wrestling, it did manage to keep my interest with fast paced moves, counters, and real wrestling. It's about time we see some quality work from a mix-tag. Too bad it's on a show no one is watching.

The Dudebusters defeated Archer & Hawkins

This match sucked. I'm sick of these 2 non-teams, but I ugess they'll eventually get a title shot...only to lose.

Big Show defeated Luke Gallows

Luke Gallows put on an ok offensive match, but it was BIG SHOW that went over. After a huge punch, Gallows was out cold yet again. The straightedge society is crumbling, and I'm not sure where these guys will fit in next.

WWE Superstars 8/26/10 Results

William Regal defeated Goldust
The Dudebusters defeated Archer & Hawkins
Drew McIntyre defeated Chris Masters

WWE Superstars 8/26/10 Review

I'm sorry for the delays, I'm battling a cold, and there's been wild fires near my home, so the smokey air has played havoc on my eyes and senses. I'll try to be more precise in timing. Also, I might be interested in a "news" guy. If you feel like you can give me some wrestling news to post with witty comments that are some times going to offend, send me an email with your name, interest, and what kind of time frame you have. Rumors, news, rants, whatever, let me know what you have in mind. You won't get paid, You won't get laid, but you'll be one of the members of an exclusive club of wrestling writers...The Sir Jorge WWE crew. If I ever make a penny, I'll cut you in, until then, it would be a labor of love. Which is why I'm still doing the site. email me at sirjorge AT gmail dot com if you're interested.

Here's my superstars commentary.

Let me preface my review by stating that Superstars is the WWE versino of WCW Thunder, with one exception: NO MAJOR STORY LINE FOR PPV forwards from the show. At least Thunder had some good matches and would help the ppv's. I personally loved the Raven vs. DDP feud and that spilled into PPV, as the flock attacked both Chris Benoit and DDP, just to remind you.

William Regal defeated Goldust

For purists, this match was quite good, and the crowd seemed to be into it as well, unless the crowd noise was piped in on the production side. Regal did his ground based attack and Goldust stuck to his mixture of spots, but it was Regal that managed to get the win with a knockout knee lift. Not a crazy match, but an adequate one, with a good amount of hard hitting action. Regal might be on his way back to the big leagues, but time will tell.

The Dudebusters defeated Archer & Hawkins

These two teams are a terrible example of what the tag team division has become. Sure, it'd be nice to get more tag teams in the WWE, but this is all the WWE can offer? I'd rather not have a tag division, if this is how convoluted it is. I don't care if every tag match is the same, if they could just make interesting tag teams, I'd watch none the less...but alas....it just isn't happening. The Dudebusters win, but who cares?

Drew McIntyre defeated Chris Masters

Chris Masters hasn't been relevant for a long time. It's a shame because he was actually not half bad when he was on the juice. Now that he's not on the juice as much, he's just not that exciting, and to see Drew McIntyre winning over him, was not fun. I don't like DREW, and I am tired of seeing him wrestle. Drew wins with the Future Show DDT which was interesting to say the least.
