Out of all the things that were boring on Raw, one thing captured my attention and was well worth noting. Daniel Bryan, the once scourge of the WWE, put Rybak to one of his best matches ever. He was able to thwart the onslaught of Bryan’s attack at each helm, but didn’t get a super man victory of sorts. He had to earn the final win, but it wasn’t to be. Instead, he lost via disqualification, but not without what seemed to be the most heroic match of Bryan’s career. I thought it was an excellent display, and while Rybak still sucks, he managed to put on a good amount of entertainment for those of us that aren’t quite sold on him.
This time around he seemed to evoke Rhyno at every turn. I found his offense and the whole bout with Bryan to be something straight out of the old guy’s playbook. If there was a gore/spear than this thing would have been emulated long ago. The match is a highlight of what was otherwise a boring show, so you can definitely now go back to whatever it was you were doing, as I get back to work as well.

The Hypocrisy of Vince McMahon
Vinnie Mac was on Raw this week talking about how the WWE is family entertainment and isn’t a blood sport. He was referring to the fact that fans wanted Rybak to destroy Kofi Kingston on a previous edition of the WWE’s programs, and the crowd reacted with a great deal of chanting. Sure, McMahon is playing a role here, but what about the utter hypocrisy of the WWE at this point.
How are they hypocritical, and more importantly, how is McMahon’s words coming back to prove that the company doesn’t know how to entertain their older audience of, dare I say, smart wrestling fans? Well, he once again was pushing that “family” business, entertainment button, but the big main event that is coming up at Payback is that of John Cena battling Rybak (aka Bully Ray 2.0) in a 3 stages of hell match. Obviously there will be no blood, but the match will definitely call for some risky moves from both guys. Of course Superman, I mean John Cena will win out, but it’s this type of hypocritical thinking that is getting me back into wrestling.
I know, this all sounds stupid, and it’s not well written at all, but then again, since when is Sir Jorge’s WWE blog ever well written?
The point is that the family entertainment moniker that Vince was playing on during his speech on Raw doesn’t bode well for the present or future. I for one miss the blood days, and wish the crimson mask token wasn’t only spoken about Kane.
With that in mind, I’ll continue to ponder the notion of the hypocrisy of Vinnie Mac, since the “blood sport” that isn’t his business, sure seemed that way throughout Raw. With one major exception, the Divas boring match up. What a load of nonsense. Did you hear how quiet the announcers got, and how quiet the crowd was? It was definitely some of the worst aspects of Raw.
I’ll have more thoughts on Raw, and blog updates as I move forward with posting things on this site.

WWE Raw 1/7/13 Review
Instead of posting the results, which you already know, this blog will be an ongoing free form discussion on what I remember from Raw last night, and will not be discussing things I didn’t remember or enjoyed.
Team Hell No vs. Team Rhodes Scholars
I love how Cody Rhodes is younger than me and more successful. It’s an odd thing to realize but man, I’m old. The match was good, and it shows that the WWE can in fact still have a good overall tag team division, but with only a handful of teams being pushed constantly, I don’t think that there needs to be tag titles any longer. They need to introduce way more tag teams or else this is all for not.
Ziggler vs. John Cena
John Cena is a beast, and he sure can wrestle. When he is put in the ring with someone good like Ziggler, Cena shines. He brings a better game than he brought against the Rock last year and it’s evidenced by this great overall Raw match. I didn’t like the ending, as I do not believe Cena needs the win here. Ziggler needed the win with his new bodyguard to further cement that he is going to get a title run with the help of the bodyguard, who then turns on him at the moment he wants to go for the title himself.
Cm Punk vs Rybak in a TLC Match
Anyone who isn’t sold on Rybak needs to reexamine why they love professional wrestling. This match was balls out awesome, and everything that the two competitors did I was cheering for. I was split between the two guys, and I was cheering for Punk’s loss, but could see why Rybak wasn’t going to get the belt. I haven’t seen a stiff competitor for the crown like this in a while so I’m glad this match happened.
I could see Rybak forcing the pin fall at Rumble to go to the Rock or even the Shield screwing Rock over, but for all intents and purposes CM Punk vs Rybak stole the show for me.
Punk and Rock talking a lot
This bored me. I don’t care. This reminded me of the south park parody about wrestling where they just talk and barely wrestled. Lame. The Rock was never my favorite, and I still stand by my prediction, Taker vs Rock main event…right? Right? Anyone?
What are your thoughts? What did I miss? Drop me a line, comment, and PLEASE try the fish…I mean go to Amazon.com and buy something. Writing is my only job and this is part of it. I get paid very little so please help support in any way you can!

WWE Monday Night Raw Review
I've been working really hard lately, and for those 2 readers out there that still follow this blog I'm sorry to let you down. I am a freelance writer so if I don't write for others I don't get to pay my rent. I finally had time to settle down and write a review about wrestling.
The night saw a lot of great things, well only a few great things and a lot of garbage.
Ric Flair returned and got into a scuffle with CM Punk which prompted a great deal of fan reaction, the Shield came out to beat him up, and I was wondering why JBL didn't jump in and help. Flair has to come back and beat the crap out of the Shield, I'd pay money to see that, but something tells me that is not going to happen anytime soon.
Tommy Dreamer showed up and his team up with The Miz and Alberto Del Rio mopped up 3MB which was awesome! I loved seeing that mess.
The rest of the night was ok, and the story lines continue to be the same old rubbish.
Sorry to cut this short, I have to get back to work.

WWE Monday Night Raw 12/3/12 Review

img src wwe.com
I was finally able to sit down and watch some Raw while I ate a quesadilla for breakfast. That’s a step up from my usual breakfast of 3 cups of coffee and nothing else. The show is now on HULU for those of you that don’t have cable, which is awesome.
The show was ok, there were some highlights, and if you ask me, it wasn’t a terrible show. However, I did find out that CM PUNK is having emergency knee surgery and could be dropping the title as a result! Yep.
I’m not a news guy, so I won’t bug you with those details.
Best Match
The Fatal Fourway for the United States championship blew me away. For a television match, they really did put on a good show, and you would truly believe that each competitor had a good shot of winning the matchup. I especially liked the finish, even though most people aren’t liking Cesaro that much.
Worst Match
Divas. Word on the street is that there will be no more “divas” division once Triple H takes over completely.
Weird Moment
The Miz came out and turned face in a very awkward moment. Punk and Heyman surely did their best to make it more poignant, and the crowd even started chanting Walrus at one point.
I’ve read that Miz and Punk do NOT like each other in the backstage area, so it will see if this matchup of two guys will mesh. As for Punk, his surgery might keep him out, who knows.
The rest of the show was solid, I have no major complaints this week. I was able to enjoy it, and that’s what matters most about wrestling. The day I don’t enjoy anything, I’ll stop doing this site completely.
One last thing, if you are going to shop on amazon.com, click HERE and bookmark and shop. It’ll help me continue to write, and pay for HULU to get the shows. Thank you in advance for your consideration.

WWE Raw Review 11/26/2012
Once again Raw was live and for those of us without Cable we had to wait 24 hours for it to appear on Hulu Plus. It's awesome! Anyways, the show went off with some moments of cool and a lot of filler even if the shortened 90 minute version left out some things.
I for one can't believe how bad things are getting in the WWE. The matches are ok at best, but they are wasting a lot of talent and are moving slowly across several levels.
My favorite things throughout the night were definitely The Shield helping Punk and then saying that they aren't working for punk, only to be on his side later in the night.
Outside of some cool matches between Ryback and Titus O'Neil, Mysterio and Bryan and some highlight spots here and there, the show just seemed tired.
The utter most bad stuff is the Aj and Cena stuff, what a waste of time.
Punk vs Ryback for the title is going to be awesome at the TLC ppv, but I do not have the money to buy it...sigh.
Raw was ok at best, if you liked it, let me know why. As for me, the show just seemed to slowly wind down to boredom. I'll admit though, there were some good matches, not great, but good, maybe because I got to see them without having to pay Time Warner $200! Yeah BOY!

WWE Raw 11/12/12 Review
I don't have much of a review. I didn't get to see all of raw because my dvr was acting up. What I did see was the same repetitive, stupid and boring wrestling.
There is nothing worth noting on this night, it's the same old bs. THe same matches, the same results, ugh...I'm so sick of the same match ups over and over and over again.
If you liked it, let me know, I don't know, I'm really getting jaded.

WWE Raw Review of Sorts 5/5/12

img src wwe.com
Raw was not at all what I thought it would be. It was filled with story lines and boring matches that really didn't do anything but fuel my disdain for the current product. I thought for a while, a few weeks ago, that the WWE could possibly be exciting one more time, but it seems to be a boring world of sorts. There's so many wrestlers and so many convoluted story lines that I'm not sure which ones I should truly care about and which ones I should let go.
The Worst of RAW
There is so much that sucked on Raw that I don't know what I should call the worst. I'll call out 1/2 the show if not 3/4 of the show for being absolutely dog crap. I didn't find anything at all compelling with the exception of the main event.
The Best of Raw
The tag team match and Ryback pinning Punk is something that is definitely worth noting. Furthermore there are a few wild cards that the WWE can play going into Survivor's Series.
I for on am excited to see whether or not John Cena will turn heel, or Ryback will turn Heel and beat up Cena. Either way, at one point during the big main event at Survivor's Series Cena and Ryback are going to have to fight or argue and that's where Punk can either win, or lose. We'll see how that turns out.
That's it for my thoughts on Raw, I hated most of it, but then again, I'm sure you did too.

WWE Monday Night Raw Thoughts
I didn't see the full show because my DVR messed up. I received a new one this morning. However, I did read and watch some of the show. I don't think the WWE is going to be very popular in the next few weeks. The main event at Hell in a Cell left millions upset, and the show last night was boring with a lot of recycled matches that were tired and boring.
If you missed this show, you didn't miss much.
The main event for the Survivor Series is now set, and it's awful, to say the least.
Oh well.
I'll have more later this week.

WWE Monday Night Raw 10/15/12 Review
When it comes to the “A” show, the WWE surely know how to do it right. I found this night to be another mixed night of quality wrestling, boring backstage stuff, and wanting to boink the general manager. You know you’d want to as well!
Best Matches of the Night
My favorite matches of the night this time around are the Big Show beating Daniel Bryan. This match had a lot to offer, even for me. Bryan really hit everything he could on Show, but it was Show in the end that had the winning formula, choke slamming Bryan within an inch of his life.
Ryback defeating two main eventers, well not really, was a surprise. Ryback continued to plow through competitors, this time it was David Otunga and Ziggler that got completely blown away by the monster.
Kofi Kingston and the Miz! This match was ok, then it got into an insane ending where The Miz was clocked in the face by Kofi in what seemed like the hardest kick to the head I’ve ever seen. MIz, I thought was completely knocked out clean, but apparently he did not receive a concussion. I thought for sure he was gone.
My favorite of all the matches, had to go to the Antonio Cesaro match in which Justin Gabriel put on a highlight reel of his talent, only to get blown out of mid air with a European uppercut. I kid you not, the timing here was perfect and Gabriel was blown out of his boots by a huge uppercut that no one saw coming. Loved the match, loved the ending, great quality overall.
Bad Matches
The tag team division received no time, as they went through a spot fest that bored me.
The women still are tired and boring.
The backstage elements weren’t that great, and the first punk segment as well as the Miz’s highlight reel knockoff was stupid.
Overall all the talking was too much, and the action suffered, but then again, the ending was awesome.
Overall Show
Ryback and Punk will meet inside a Hell in the Cell match at the ppv, and while I’m not going to buy it, I know a lot of people will. The match up is an interesting one, as the two will face each other one on one for the first time.
If you’re not a fan of Ryback’s push, at least know that both John Cena and CM Punk have voted for him backstage to take this main event spot right now. Will Ryback win?
Well, I don’t know, but I will put money on Punk retaining through antics and maybe help from someone breaking into the cage. If he retains, look for Dolph Ziggler to steal the title.
The overall show was good, I liked it. The matches were brief, but some of them were definitely bright spots overall. The 3 Man Rock Band gimmick is funny, I’ll buy into it, that’s for sure. I want to play air guitar already!

WWE Main Event 10/10/12 Results and Review The No Show
WWE Main Event 10/10/12 Results
Big Show defeated Randy Orton
Kofi Kingston defeated Michael McGillicutty
WWE Main Event 10/10/12 Review
I didn’t watch the show because I can’t stand both The Big Slow or Randy Horton. I hate both, they are way past due for getting the axe. I’m sorry, no review.
However, I do have a post coming about Ryback turning Heel.

WWE Monday Night Raw 10/8/12 Review and Analysis
Monday Night Raw once again swept through another venue and was not a great one, but there were some moments that definitely had me excited. The 3 hours of this show was a lot of filler, but between the filler there were some moments worth noting, and that’s what I will focus on here.
The Best Matches
Vince McMahon can still go. He’s 67 years old and I was not hoping to see him fighting here, but wow, he put up a major fight and beat the hell out of Cm Punk. Punk hit McMahon hard style at some points and Punk got hit hard with Kendo sticks and more. McMahon can really go, and despite his age, he put on an entertaining show. Punk ran away like a little Bitch and punched a fan. He will now have to fight either Ryback or John Cena.
The tag team championship tournament continued and the team that I pegged to win big didn’t work out well. Rey Mysterio and Sin Cara seem to be poised to get the titles as Mysterio is in his twilight years as a wrestler. Rhodes Scholars will definitely prove to be tough competition and their match was a bit better than the Prime Time players match, but I liked the whole thing.
The Worst Points
John Cena’s speech during the beginning, the women’s match, Larry King and the Miz verbally sparring, and the rest of the show wasn’t really all that great. Even the Ryback handicap match didn’t do much for me. There were some good points in the show, but I had to fast forward a few things that were just boring, and you know you did as well.
Overall Show
I wasn’t as excited for this week’s show, and I think that many people agree. There were some highlights, but let’s face it, it’s lacking in wrestling, and lots of it. Oh well.

WWE Main Event 10/4/12 Results and Review Punk is Truly The Best
WWE Main Event 10/4/12 Results
CM Punk defeated Sheamus
Santino & Zack Ryder defeated Tyson Kidd & Justin Gabriel
WWE Main Event Thoughts and Review
This new show for WWE was shot in an odd manner, making the arena seem smaller, and possibly a set up for a house show type of thing. The whole thing was smaller scale the the other productions, that’s for sure.
CM Punk and Sheamus put on a great match, in my view. This was a crisp back and forth match with no clear winner until Punk cheated to win. I liked the way that Punk is using the in ring “heel” strategy to win, and I liked that Sheamus said there would be another time and then, Punk would get the “BRO” Kick.
The tag team championship tournament also carried on, but that was relatively uneventful and boring to me. Sure I like comedy teams, but Gabriel and Kidd just got played as jobbers.
Main Event Status
The Main Event program reminds me a lot of WCW Thunder, and well, it will most likely suffer that fate, much like WWE Superstars did a few months back.
Until next time, Buy something from Amazon, and help me keep paying for cable television.

Raw Results and Review 10/1/12 JR Tribute Night
The first major review for this website is coming to you live from LAX, as I have moved away from Koreatown and am now sitting pretty in my own office, with the sun coming up and the airplanes passing by. I’m your host, writer, and local idiot, Sir Jorge and I am the best in the world at what I do.
Last night Raw blew through Oklahoma, and it was Jim Ross Tribute Night, which meant a lot of things, and in the grand tradition of the WWE, things happened the way they always do, with JR getting pushed around like a chump….
Before we get into my favorite things from Raw, I want to thank each and every subscriber out there that is still with me, and I want to ask you to patronize our sponsors as it helps me not have a 9 to 5 job. Seriously, buy something.

WWE Raw Quick Results 10/1/12
#1 Contenders Tag Team Tournament: Rey Mysterio & Sin Cara defeated Primo & Epico
Antonio Cesaro defeated Brodus Clay
The Miz defeated Zack Ryder
Ryback defeated Tensai
Eve defeated Beth Phoenix
Santino Marella defeated Heath Slater by DQ
Sheamus defeated Damien Sandow
Alberto Del Rio defeated Kofi Kingston
Special Referee- AJ Lee: Team Hell No defeated CM Punk & Dolph Ziggler
WWE Raw 10/1/12 Thoughts Ideas and Other Crap
The overall show was not half bad, there were some dull moments, like the Big Show and Sheamus in a debate with Booker T as the moderator. That was obviously just filler for the WWE trying to get 3 hours worth of television in a 2 hour package.
The backstage segments were lame, and I’d much rather imagine Aj Lee naked and in my bed than having to watch her act and deal with whatever it was backstage that she was dealing with. Who knows, who cares, I don’t.
The commentary team is awesome with Jim Ross in there, and I like Michael Cole not doing that heel gimmick.
Matches
The best match for me was hard to pick. As much as I love the One Man Rock Band, the show was really stolen in the main event with Team Hell No doing their schtick and Dolph Ziggler leaving Cm Punk to the wolves and walking out on him. Punk is great in that role, losing, but only because Ziggler walked out on him.
Damien Sandow is a great throwback, he put up a great fight against the Great White Sheamus. I can’t ever call his finisher the Brogue kick, sorry. It’s always going to be the “BRO” kick to me, and that’s that. So if you see me mention that it’s the BRO Kick, then you know what I’m talking about. Sandow and Sheamus had a great match, and I bought into the whole thing, even though I knew the outcome was going to be all Sheamus.
Moment of the Night
The moment came when Jim Ross got ridiculed and thrown out of the ring by a verbal assaulting CM Punk. Punk really let JR have it, in true tribute to the guy. As Ross was leaving up the ramp, the crowd went insane, with no piped in sounds, as RYBAK came out to his “FEED ME MORE” song. He stared down CM Punk and the crowd went completely nuts. This was the same type of reaction that Goldberg used to get. I kid you not, the roof exploded as the two stared each other down, and Cm Punk walked away.
This is the BEST heat and praise I’ve seen in a LONG TIME!
Worst Moments of the Night
Rybak should have shined against Tensai but he couldn’t pick him up. I don’t recall Goldberg having too much trouble doing his moves against bigger guys. Remember when he picked up the Giant?! Oh yeah.
Aj Lee everywhere. She sucks.
Final Thoughts on Raw
Raw was good, was it war? Na. The matches ranged from entertaining to down right stupid. The women’s division sucks. The tag division is gaining major steam, but the rest of the card was forgettable, with the exception of some shining moments.
I’m still big on The Funkasoarus, and if Big Show wins another WWE TITLE I’m going to riot.
Oh and no John Cena, good riddance.
