WWE Smackdown Live September 13, 2017 Results and Review McMahon Show Featuring Wrestlers

Breaking Kendo Sticks - SRC WWE DOT COM
Well, if you ever have a negative thing to say about Vince McMahon, you can now shut the hell up. I’m going to, and you may want to do the same. Why? Well, we will get to this night of Smackdown, live from Las Vegas. I should’ve gone, but eh, I didn’t get to go this time. I did think about it, though, but it just didn’t happen. So let’s get into this showcase of the immortals, or rather, the boring things that happened and the exciting things that also happened.

Kevin Owens Took over

Kevin Owens wasn’t playing around last week when he said he was going to takeover the show, because he certainly did this time around. He showed up and was taking over from the moment he came out to the ring. He was interrupted by Dolph Ziggler at one point, and he praised him. That of course led to the rest of the show, in which Owens would have backstage interactions, and was claiming to be taking over the show or he was going to sue.

Aj Styles defeated Tye Dillinger in the United States Championship Open Challenge

Did you really think that Tye Dillinger was going to get the win here? He did put up a good fight against Aj Styles, but it wasn’t at all what you would call a 4 star classic. In fact, the match went on slightly less time than I imagined it would have gone, and it even had a run in with Baron Corbin. Corbin was able to knock some sense into the two combatants, and wake up Aj Styles because he definitely got some shots from Dillinger. Dillinger pinned the champ a few times, but he couldn’t get that 3, and of course Styles would turn things around and boom, the calf crusher made Dillinger tap out. What a push for Dillinger? The best loser to come through NXT, eh? What a shame.

Jinder Mahal Goes Racist

Jinder Mahal came out and was super racist with running down Nakamura. I guess that’s cool? I don’t know. I like Jinder Mahal’s shirts, and I did like the Singh brother’s comedy act, but this was a bit much. This didn’t need to be on the show at all.

The New Day defeated The Usos in a Sin City Street Fight for the Smackdown Tag Team Titles

The new Day was supposed to be outgunned here but they weren’t because The Usos came at them like it was Day One Ish! See what I did there? Either way, the New Day put on a showcase, and The Usos beat the holy hell out of Big E and Kofi Kingston. The end was going to be similar to that of Summerslam, but alas, things turned out good for the New Day as they were able to garner a pinfall after a lot of punishment. Chairs, kendo stick breaking, and tables all made this match quite good, and of course, the two teams have great chemistry together. The New Day are the new champions! This wasn’t my favorite street fight of all time, but it was good. I think the Cactus Jack and Max Payne street fight with the Nasty Boys was better.

Natalya defeated Naomi in the Smackdown Women’s Championship Match

This wasn’t a great match. It was rushed, and it seemed like they just didn’t give the women enough time to tell a good story. However, James Ellsworth and Carmella were playing a dom and sub thing, and got in the face of Naomi at one point. It didn’t matter, Natalya won with the sharpshooter and that’s the end of this feud, right?

Dolph Ziggler Made Fun of People

This was dumb.

Shelton Benjamin and Chad Gable defeated The Hype Bros.

This was a fast match where Shelton did all the work, and the Hype Bros. just lost. It looked like one of them may be turning heel? I don’t know, this division sucks right now. Shelton looked great though.

Kevin Owens Beat Down Vince McMahon

The highlight of this wasn’t the announcement of the Shane McMahon vs Kevin Owens in a Hell in the Cell Match. Sadly. Owens head butted Vince hardway, and then dropped his weight on him from the top, as well as busting open Vince. That brought out Stephanie McMahon dressed like a power ranger, and that was that. I hope Owens goes to the indies, this is a lame feud to me, and this show was lackluster, with only 1 good match, and the rest being filler. Sadly, this is the B show.

John Cena is never turning heel, neither is Roman Reigns...and you have only yourself to blame.

Every other month or so we hear “rumors” and “sources close to the WWE” say a John Cena heel turn is imminent. Every WEEK we hear the same about Roman Reigns. But week after week, PPV after PPV, the swerve never happens...and it’s not going to. Why? Because that’s actually NOT what’s best for business.

The business reality of WWE

Ever since the WWE went “PG” due to Linda McMahon’s failed attempt at politics as well as when WWE Corporate went public, their sole purpose has been to generate revenue and expand their market presence in the world of entertainment. To their credit, they have done a great job but it’s come at the expense of losing the “support” of fans that have already surpassed puberty. Those of us who remember an era other than the Attitude Era. Now I use the term support loosely because while the “old school” wrestling fans have become disenchanted with the current product, one fact remains: We’re still watching it. We’re still subscribing to WWE Network. We are still buying their products and they are still selling out arenas all over the world. So….why the hell would they turn their two biggest “faces” in the company? It makes ZERO business sense, that’s why.

John Cena is the Hulk Hogan of his generation, plain and simple. Roman Reigns, despite his family lineage and the company’s best laid plans to elevate him, may never truly reach his potential as long as mic work is part of the job. The man has absolutely ZERO charisma and like Big Cass says, YOU CAN’T TEACH THAT. The WWE’s next big heel is only going to happen organically. Personally I think Seth Rollins is a natural and Kevin Owens is right up there with him. Here’s hoping Vince doesn’t ruin either of them with one of his asinine ideas later on and then fire them like they did something wrong *cough* Damien Sandow *cough*.

What makes a good heel turn?

Do you remember the greatest heel turn in the history of the business? I do. I still remember it fondly because it changed the entire industry. Bash at the Beach, 1996, the biggest face in the history of wrestling makes the heel turn no one expected (I don’t even think the commentators knew it was coming), Hulk Hogan comes in, turns heel and creates one of the greatest stables (which eventually got watered down) in history with the nWo. This of course spawned DX and the Monday Night War really took off. Now why did that heel turn happen? Hogan was already the biggest name in the business, Nash and Hall were there and the trickle of talent coming in from WWE was already quickly growing to a steady stream. Why the bombshell? Because it made perfect business sense. Hardcore wrestling fans would continue to watch WWE and WCW (watch one, record the other back in those days) but the WWE loyalists would not bother watching WCW and just write off Hogan, Nash, Hall, etc as old guys past their prime basically doing the same shtick somewhere else. Unless….they weren’t. Turning Hogan heel was probably the single most ballsy, business savvy GENIUS move pulled off up to that point and since then. Ultimately it also lead to the eventual demise of WCW because the wrong guys were given “creative control” and basically took the politics they pulled in WWE and amplified it tenfold. But the heel turn decision was made because it really was best for business and if WCW had competent management calling the shots behind the scenes, we might still have two major competing brands….and I’m not saying WWE would be one of them, either.

The innovator is now the cancer: Vince McMahon

Once upon a time, albeit through incredibly nefarious actions, Vince McMahon innovated an entire industry and set it on a path to develop into the massive conglomerate that it is today. But too much of anything can be bad and Vince got too much credit and too much power in his creation of what is now called “sports entertainment” almost single handedly so he refuses to release the iron fist of influence he wields over everything seen on WWE broadcasting. If you truly think HHH has final say on NXT operations or that Stephanie has final say on RAW and Smackdown programming then you must believe that control of RAW was really on the line at Wrestlemania this year when Shane fought the Undertaker. We see how that played out, don’t we? The reality is Vince has been creatively out of touch almost since the beginning. The nWo is almost directly responsible for the existence of DX. All of the various wild storylines during the Monday Night War was essentially designed to out shock people away from WCW.

Hell, do you remember the Stone Cold Steve Austin heel turn? That was PURELY to get even with a company he already bought for the shock of turning Hulk Hogan...and he couldn’t even get that right. By the way, who is your favorite XFL team? Oh….right. Vince McMahon no doubt has one of the better business acumens than most have and he certainly deserves his share of credit for what he’s created. But one imperative trait that he never developed (I speak past tense because at his age, he’s beyond the point of change), he never learned to truly delegate. If in no other capacity, he should have done so from a creative standpoint. Hire some real writers, give them guidelines to stick to because of the whole PG nonsense and let them do their thing. No more fucking New Day’s. No more fucking Adam Rose and a dancing bunny. No more fucking Oddities. Stop changing the tint in ring lighting for an ENTIRE MATCH for people. Do you realize how hard that is to watch? I call it a bathroom break match.

But you know why we will continue to see these creative defecations in WWE for as long as Vince McMahon draws oxygen on this earth? Because WE KEEP WATCHING and hoping for more. As long as he doesn’t NEED to, he’s not approving any relevant heel turns. We get to watch Kane and Big Show switch back and forth, that’s all we’re getting and we should be grateful for that. Right?

*flips table*

Next week I will get into the proliferation of what was once known as Pay-Per-Views….until then I’m Irreparably Jaded and in respect to this article, I’m as fucked up as you are.

WWE Payback 2016 Predictions

Ryback versus Kalisto (WWE U.S. Championship)

This is a match that should see a lot of commentary on how small Kalisto is against the big guy. Look to see Ryback win this one, get the title and get a good run against all comers. In fact, I wouldn't put it past WWE to put in Apollo Crews in a feud with Ryback as two big guys going at it is a Vinnie Mac wet dream.

Winner: Ryback for the U.S. Championship

Vince McMahon Announces Who Controls WWE

Look at Vince to state that at the next Pay Per View, Team Authority will face Team Shane winner will get control over the show.

Winner: No One, Setting Up A Match For Next Pay Per view

Charlotte vs. Natalya (WWE Women's Championship)

I don't think that Bret and Flair can get too physical. Hart has stated that he can't really do a lot of bumps, so if there is any interaction, look for Flair to get hit hard on this one, and the unpopular solution of Natalya winning via disqualification and Charlotte once again not losing the belt.

Winner: Natalya via DQ

Sami Zayn vs. Kevin Owens

I honestly think that this is going to be a brawl, and it won't end with a finish. What it's going to do is simple, it's going to go quite a while, but double dq or double countout with this leading to a serious second match with weapons, ladders, or something else. Last man standing most likely. This is a money feud, there will not be a definitive winner here, in my opinion.

Winner: No Winner, Double Countout or DQ

The Miz vs. Cesaro (Intercontinental Championship)

The Miz will put on a good match, Cesaro will beat the crap out of him, but The Miz will retain the title after the Skull Crushing Finale.

Winner: The Miz

Chris Jericho vs. Dean Ambrose

Look for Jericho to win this one, and BURY Dean Ambrose. Then get Jericho into a feud with Roman Reigns as his last major feud before retiring for good.

Winner: Chris Jericho

Baron Corbin vs. Dolph Ziggler

Ziggler is enhancement talent, nothing more at this point. Ziggler is going to put on a showcase of wrestling, but will most likely lose this one yet again. Look for Baron Corbin to look strong yet again.

Winner: Baron Corbin

Enzo and Cass vs. The Vaudevillains

In this final match in the tag team title tournament, look for The Vaudevillains to win big here. I think Enzo and Cass are great, but their time is not now, and they will end up losing this one, setting up a return of Blue Pants and Carmela down the line. But in this match, The Realest Guys in the room will go down to the throwback tag team of The Vaudevillains.

Winner: The Vaudevillains

Roman Reigns vs. Aj Styles (WWE Championship)

Here it is, the match you'd never think you'd see since Aj Styles was so loyal to TNA. Well, while a lot of people are hoping for Bullet Club to help Aj Styles win the big one, I think it's going to be Roman Reigns getting the victory. If by chance Aj does win, it will be by disqualification, and it will lead to him getting a rematch.

Winner: Roman Reigns

The Wild Card Bullets

No pun intended here. What will happen other than the aforementioned matches? Watch out for:

  • The Bullet Club and Finn Balor showing up to beat up Aj Styles.
  • Look out for a Roman Reigns heel turn by aligning with The Bullet Club and Balor.
  • Watch out for the Wyatt Family!
And there you have it, Payback 2016 predictions! I'll have results and review on Monday, and a new column coming to you weekly.

WWE Monday Night Raw 12/28/2015 Review Vince McMahon Goes To Jail

Once again, I had to fight myself to stay awake for this showcase. I am reviewing the Hulu edition while I still have Hulu, as I may not have it after January 6, but we will see what happens. That being said, this week’s Raw came through and well, it was a lot of…well…crap. I want to be optimistic, so maybe I shouldn’t dismiss it so fast, but let’s get into it and see what went down and why the end of 2015 for WWE is ending with a whimper instead of a bang.

Vince McMahon Goes To Jail

Up front, Vinnie Mac called out Roman Reigns, and that led to Stephanie McMahon coming out. This whole starting point went to start a storyline in which Vince McMahon was arrested by the police, and Stephanie was screaming about it, while her music played. Yes, the music was playing here. Oh man. Anyways, Roman Reigns stood tall as Vinnie Mac went to jail.

Neville defeated Kevin Owens

Kevin Owens lost this match in less than 20 seconds or so. This was a waste of talent. Afterwards Owens went nuts and beat up Neville around the ring. But who cares, right? This was a waste to me. I don’t think Owens needs to be established as a crazed, fighter, because we already know he’s good. What a waste of Neville and Owens.

Sasha Banks defeated Becky Lynch

Well, this was a surprise. It didn’t last long, but Lynch and Banks actually put on a good wrestling match. There were some slow spots, and it was obvious that they weren’t going to be allowed a lot of time. The rushed finish aside, this wasn’t half bad. Banks is such a good performer, and Banks, well she’s losing so much I smell a heel turn. This is ok, but nowhere near what you see in NXT.

Kalisto defeated Kofi Kingston

This was a fast paced match, as you’d expect. However, this is where I started to fall asleep. New Day did their thing on the mic, but the Lucha Dragons don’t have much personality, and despite their in ring work, it’s not as entertaining as WCW or ECW’s lucha division stuff. WWE just doesn’t know how to book good action within the scope of lucha style, so the mix kind of falls flat if you ask me.

Big E defeated Sin Cara

Screw it. Sin Cara sucks. He dislocated his shoulder and it looked like he was going to quit, like the other Sin Cara did. This was stupid. The shoulder aside, it seemed to be ok enough to finish the match, but still. This threw me out of the match. Big E is good, but come on, the whole “my shoulder!” thing just played terribly. WWE should fire Sin Cara, and Kalisto. They should get a better shake in Mexico. Man, I miss WCW and ECW right now.

Big Show Is the Number 1 Entrant in the Rumble, and I don’t care. I hate Big Slow.

Ryback defeated Big Show via count out

Who cares.

The League of Nations defeated Dean Ambrose and The Usos

I fell asleep on this one. I’m tired of six man tag team matches. How did the Usos win the slammy for the tag team of the year? I don’t know, this was just boring to me. Ambrose is ok, but man, the six man tag thing is just tiresome.

John Cena defeated Alberto Del Rio via DQ

I’m so hoping for a John Cena heel turn that this match seemed boring to me. Then again, I didn’t see it, since I was passed out. Oh well.

That was the end of that. WWE really took a dump on any momentum they had last week to this week. Then again, they didn’t have momentum after the terrible Slammy Awards debacle. I am trying to be positive about wrestling, but with shows like this one, it’s very hard to do so.

Remember When Vince McMahon's Limo Blew Up?

This post was written for a magazine that shut down. At the time people were speculating whether or not Vince McMahon's limo really did blow up with him inside it. So here you go:

The WWE is known for pulling out all the stops when the chips are down, or when there is strong competition. However, in recent years, the stunts that the WWE has pulled have been less than spectacular and proven fake. The limousine explosion that concluded a very special edition of WWE Raw was completely fake, and anyone who believes that it was real, is missing the point of wrestling and should stop watching it now. However, this is not the first time that we've seen the WWE involved in an odd angle which was completely fabricated for media attention. While the WWE did do it all as a stunt, no one can deny that they evoked a lot of media attention and boosted ratings, when they were in a slump. There are three major events that can be linked to publicity stuns in recent memory for wrestling fans; Mike Tyson getting into a fight with Stone Cold Steve Austin, Billy and Chuck's gay marriage on Smackdown, and most recently the limousine exploding. These three events sparked interest in the WWE from fans, as well as the media, however one must not forget that they were just publicity stunts, and nothing more.

Consider the year 1998, the WWE was seeing a steady increase in fans, however there was not a clear cut defined winner in the Monday Night Wars that were occurring at the time. The day after the Royal Rumble, on Monday Night Raw, Mike Tyson made a special appearance, but was interrupted by the number one contender to the WWE title at the time, Stone Cold Steve Austin. Austin went on a verbal tirade, much to the dismay of Mr. McMahon, causing a stir with the audience and notable reaction. When Tyson and Stone Cold got into each others faces, and Austin flipped Tyson the Bird, pandemonium ensued and the ring was cleared, Austin was arrested, and the media blitz began. The next day all sports pages had a picture of Tyson shoving Steve Austin, and no one could determine whether or not it was a stunt, or if it was an ad libbed venture into live television. We all know it was all for show, as Austin took over the WWE Championship later that year at Wrestlemania, defeating Shawn Michaels for the coved top spot in the WWE.

Now fast forward to where the Smackdown brand was getting notoriety in the news, with mainstream media publishing articles, and major talk shows having a tag team duo known for more than just wrestling together on their show talking about some interesting subject matter. Billy & Chuck were paired together and the gay factor was risen to all new levels. In a publicity stunt that was cleverly disguised as a real event, the WWE decided to run a story line where Billy & Chuck would become life partners through marriage, live on WWE's Smackdown program. Gay advocates jumped on the chance to promote this as a positive thing, and were quick to praise the WWE for their efforts to solidify Gay characters on their programming, showing a line of brevity that most shows at the time were not doing. During the ceremony, there was a melee, and the two were never married, but were instead pummeled by a debuting tag team by the name of 3 Minute Warning. This too was heavily covered by print and major media, only to be subdued into a ratings pusher, and stunt, that has never been revisited again.

Finally, the stunt that involved the WWE chairman was indeed a stunt. A stunt that got major media involved, and major news sources trying to figure out if the stunt was real or not, much to their dismay, it was a stunt and the WWE chairman was alive and well. WWE is known for sports entertainment, and when these sorts of things happen, one must consider the fact that they are in a business model that promotes outlandish stories, in the back drop of wrestling. The WWE would never allow a real situation to air like this, and if you are not convinced, then count how many times Owen Hart's death is mentioned or shown on the air. I rest my case.

The Hypocrisy of Vince McMahon

Vinnie Mac was on Raw this week talking about how the WWE is family entertainment and isn’t a blood sport. He was referring to the fact that fans wanted Rybak to destroy Kofi Kingston on a previous edition of the WWE’s programs, and the crowd reacted with a great deal of chanting. Sure, McMahon is playing a role here, but what about the utter hypocrisy of the WWE at this point.

How are they hypocritical, and more importantly, how is McMahon’s words coming back to prove that the company doesn’t know how to entertain their older audience of, dare I say, smart wrestling fans? Well, he once again was pushing that “family” business, entertainment button, but the big main event that is coming up at Payback is that of John Cena battling Rybak (aka Bully Ray 2.0) in a 3 stages of hell match. Obviously there will be no blood, but the match will definitely call for some risky moves from both guys. Of course Superman, I mean John Cena will win out, but it’s this type of hypocritical thinking that is getting me back into wrestling.

I know, this all sounds stupid, and it’s not well written at all, but then again, since when is Sir Jorge’s WWE blog ever well written?

The point is that the family entertainment moniker that Vince was playing on during his speech on Raw doesn’t bode well for the present or future. I for one miss the blood days, and wish the crimson mask token wasn’t only spoken about Kane.

With that in mind, I’ll continue to ponder the notion of the hypocrisy of Vinnie Mac, since the “blood sport” that isn’t his business, sure seemed that way throughout Raw. With one major exception, the Divas boring match up. What a load of nonsense. Did you hear how quiet the announcers got, and how quiet the crowd was? It was definitely some of the worst aspects of Raw.

I’ll have more thoughts on Raw, and blog updates as I move forward with posting things on this site.

WWE Raw February 25 2013 Review

Blu Ray Royal Rumble 2013 sale
Buy the Royal Rumble Blu Ray
I finally stopped listening to other people’s opinion on wrestling and instead decided to just watch it for myself, without reading any new or anything else. My favorite moments from this week’s raw are probably not going to be what you liked, but hey, we’re all different. If you want results, read them somewhere else.

Here are my favorite Raw moments from February 25, 2013.

Triple H fighting Brock Lesnar was awesome, and the two can really brawl. I absolutely loved the way it all worked out and the blood that Lesnar had was also impressive. If you missed it, than you missed something great. Paul Heyman and Mr McMahon fought a little but the end result was rad.

CM Punk calling himself god was awesome. I loved it.

Dolph Ziggler and Ryback definitely put on one of my favorite matches in 2013. I loved the way things worked and Ziggler is ready to be the main event, the big time. Someone give him a title shot. Seriously, give him a title shot already!

John Cena and Cm Punk put on a classic wrestling match. I absolutely was thrilled with the way the pacing worked, the shots that were made, and the great Cena moves that were definitely showstoppers. Punk fought hard and he didn’t win, but wow, Cena earned this one in impressive fashion. I truly believe that John Cena is truly deserving the of the WrestleMania spot after this. However, I did not agree that Punk should’ve lost. I wanted him to go to the final third round at Mania, but oh well. I hope Punk gets a shot at Taker’s streak or something important.

WWE Raw was completely sold out this week in Texas and was impressive to say the least. I loved it, you probably liked it, enjoy it.

WWE Monday Night Raw 12/31/12 Review

The last Raw of 2012 was shown last night and it was quite interesting to say the least. There were some rough spots, but there were some great moments if you managed to see the whole thing.

The first thing that fans were treated to was MIZTV with John Cena only to get interrupted by Team Rhodes Scholars and that set up the night of wrestling. It was an interesting start and Miz is starting to possibly pull the fans a little.

The talking points were not that great, and I didn't like a lot of it. Mae Young showed up, some throwback moments were mentioned and well amidst a New Year's party the matches were set and random things happened.

CM Punk vs Rock Set Up Begins

Vince McMahon came out and stopped Punk's talking, and while Punk got to verbally berate the CEO or whatever his position is now, and it was nice to set up. The move would create an interesting match for the night and next week. Ryback will fight Cm Punk in a TLC match next week which is going to be an amazing night of wrestling. That's the big thing, especially since the Rock is going to be on the show.

Will the Rock interfere in the match? I think we might see something interesting develop. Or will the Shield attack Rock? That's for next week.

Match Commentary

Antonio Cesaro put a serious hurting on Sgt. Slaughter which was cool to see, even though Cesaro is wavering with the fans at this point.

Cena and Miz in a tag team was actually over which was nice. I didn't think the match was that great, but I was impressed with Cena. He has more moves than the last time I seriously watched him wrestle.

The tag title match was not half bad with 3MB getting a shot at the dysfunctional team. The match was ok, and I like the way 3MB is booked to be hated.

Sheamus was a great opponent for Dolph Ziggler and it showed. I thought the match was a great example of how Ziggler and Sheamus are defintielty theh future of the company in many ways. I'm interest in seeing here Big E. Langston is going to do in the future. The Shield stop the finish, and they still seem cool to me, like the NWO.

Big Slow bored me.

Wade Barrett Intercontinental Championship

The Match of the NIGHT!

Wade Barrett and Kofi put on a great showcase of wrestling. The two fought a good overall match and Barrett finally showed me something great. His losing streak in the latter of 2012 was done, and Kofi looked to bring out the best in the brawler, but it was Barrett's night with a good overall match up. Barrett is the NEW Intercontinental Champion!

WWE Monday Night Raw 6/21/10 Review

Raw was definitely heavily anticipated by the world of wrestling due in large part to the way things went down at the ppv on Sunday. I was looking forward to seeing how things were going to be addressed and changed.

Vince McMahon came out and addressed the crowd by cutting what seemed to be a “heel” promo on Bret Hart. He relieved Bret Hart of his duties as general manager, and so that's the end of “The Hitman” and he fired him on the spot to a mixed reaction. Vince McMahon said that the new general manager will be doing things via email to a computer at the desk of the announcers.

The first thing announced was that the NXT 7 have in fact been hired and they will address the crowd later. That prompted Sheamus to come out with the WWE title, before McMahon could leave the ring.

Sheamus got on the mic and relinquished the title to McMahon, then took it back, and then gloated. He was receiving a mix of cheers and boos, I would rather just not have John Cena as champion, that's all. I don't think Sheamus is that good at all. Sheamus followed things up by thanking the NXT guys.

John Cena came out and went on about random crap, and still gets a positive reaction.

He invoked his rematch clause, and via emails the main event was booked with a special guest referee.

Tonight it will be John Cena vs Sheamus w/ special guest referee Mr. McMahon.

And the plot thickens! I liked how Raw began already, and it made me want to stay tuned for the main event with McMahon as guest referee. Will Vinnie Mac screw Cena? Will he screw Sheamus? I don't know?! And that's the great thing about pro-wrestling sometimes, not knowing what's around the corner.

Chris Jericho defeated Evan Bourne

In a rematch of the ppv match, Chris Jericho fought Evan Bourne. Bourne was getting a lot of punishment dumped on him by the former champion. This match wasn't nearly as good as the ppv match, but he was definitely putting on a show against the up and coming star. Evan Bourne looked all but beat towards the closing moments of this match, with Jericho softening him up for the Walls of Jericho or at least the Codebreaker, but Bourne kept fighting back and in an amazing Hurricanrana from a standing position, the tables turned and it seemed like Jericho was in for another loss. The Walls of Jericho got put on and the crowd went nuts, as the move was rolled through into position. Bourne got out of the move, and knocked Jericho out, he then went up for the shooting star press but Jericho put his knees up then hit the Walls of Jericho for the win over Evan Bourne. I liked this match far better than the previous one, with Bourne taking a knockout knee blow unprotected from Jericho.

Post match it looked like Jericho was going to do the classy thing and shake Bourne's hand, but he pushed him down and walked away.

Backstage Virgil was fired and replaced with Maryse. I guess that's the end of Virgil's second run in the WWE? I don't know.

Natalya vs Tamina (no contest)

The women got to put on an alright match, until the NXT rookies came to the ring and interupted the match up.

The NXT guys were ready to apologize but the Hart's jumped the NXT guys only to get beaten up easily. NXT basically ruined the last 2 weeks of build up, apologizing like chumps. Way to drop the ball.

The only good thing that came out of this was that the NXT 7 will now be part of the WWE roster, but furthermore the fact that there's a legitimate faction and stable in the WWE. It's about time there was a stable in pro-wrestling.

John Morrsion defeated Zack Ryder

I feel somewhere, somehow, that I”ve seen this match happen many times before. This match was average and while John Morrison is talented, he's not on par with Ryder. Yeah, I said that, Ryder is a little better in terms of persona than the “Shaman of Misses”. Does he ever land “Starship Pain”? Come on. The match had a few good moments, but overall this match was your standard singles fair from Morrison, eventually hitting his finisher, and landing it, which was odd. I didn't like this match, even though Ryder keeps on growing on me. Maybe I'm being too hard on these two, and these guys deserve some praise for a better than average Raw match up.

Eve & The Great Khali defeated Alicia Fox & Primo Colon

This match was your standard mixed tag. Alicia Fox and Eve fought most of the match until Primo and Khali played the “Big Man vs Small Man” routine, with Primo selling each move like he was going to die. The Punjabi Plunge finished off the much smaller Primo and Alicia Fox left the ring before anything too crazy could happen. I didn't like this at all, and was actually bored really. Khali is massive, that's for sure.

Randy Orton cut a promo, and I'm already sick of him. Blah Blah Blah Blah Blah I'm the Viper, I'm going to take your championship, Blah Blah Blah.

The Miz came out and interrupted. The Miz cut a major hell promo against Orton. I like what Miz said, he resounded what I've been saying for years on this blog: “I'm sick of seeing you in the main event, I'm sick of seeing you in yet another WWE title match”. The Miz told Orton to get to the back of the line.

The Miz said he was next in line to get a WWE Title Match. The Miz then attacked Orton, straight way, he didn't sugar coat it at all, but The Viper was striking and getting upset, but Miz rolled away only to have Edge run in and hit a nice Spear on Edge.

Edge said, “now the real fun begins, Randy”.

The only thing Randy has going for him is that his name reminds me of Macho Man Randy Savage, that's about it.

Sheamus vs John Cena (no contest)

Vince didn't become the ref, he was at ringside to make sure nothing happened at all.

This match was interesting to me. Basically, we had two guys that wrestled around 24 hours beforehand on a ppv, and yet showed no signs of being tired, beaten up or weary. Meanwhile, Sheamus was trying his best to match Super Cena's mediocre offense, and was actually doing more than most opponents. Sheamus looked way more winded at times than Cena, and it looked as though Cena was distracted at times.

The Cena chants were immense and this match was getting interesting as time wore on, and I was actually wondering whether or not Cnea would win the championship on Raw rather than in epic fashion on ppv.

The NXT guys came out and chased away Sheamus through the crowd. They then beat up John Cena, chased the announcers away, and threw the announce table on top of John Cena.

Vince McMahon did nothing at all to stop them.

Vince then got in ring and on the microphone. He told the NXT guys to leave Cena alone and then invited the NXT guys to enter the ring. He then introduced the NXT guys and said he was responsible for all of their actions.

Including choking out the ring announcer? Firing Daniel Bryan?

He said that next week the general manager was going to reveal something, and that's when the NXT guys started to look at McMahon with some mean faces. That's when I realized, much like everyone else realized, NXT was NOT run by McMahon at all!

The NXT guys circled Vince McMahon and this was going sour fast, and I marked out huge! The NXT guys beat the crap out of Vince McMahon! They put the boots to him, and they just kept going for it! I was going nuts, the crowd loved it, and I was wondering why in the world is this PG? They are beating the crap out of the CEO of the company! McMahon took a major beating, and NO ONE, and I do mean NO ONE came out to save him. Wade Barrett then hit his finisher on McMahon and this thing ended on another great note. I can't believe that this faction is so over, and they let Justin Gabriel hit the 450 splash on the CEO! If you missed RAW you missed another great ending, geez.

Once again, they beat up McMahon and NO ONE saved him, NO ONE. The fans chanted NXT as the guys walked away. The last image was McMahon dead in the ring. Yep.

It's finally an exciting time to be a pro-wrestling fan, WWE is finally doing it right and knocking this one out of the park.

WWE Monday Night Raw 3/15/10 Results and Review Stone Cold Raw

WWE Monday Night Raw 3/15/10 Results

Big Show defeated John Cena
Sheamus vs Evan Bourne no contest
HBK defeated Chris Jericho via count out
Triple H vs Randy Orton no contest
Batista defeated Kofi Kingston

WWE Monday Night Raw 3/15/10 Review

Here we go, live with the Rattlesnake!

Stone Cold came down and opened the show and it was rad to see him in ring drinking ice cold beers!

John Cena interrupted things and got a huge pop, it was insane.

Big Show defeated John Cena

The matches started fast, with Big Show fighting Cena and Big Show completely dominating. John Cena got a huge comeback but was distracted by batista, and got caught in a huge chokeslam by Big show. Big Show hit the knockout and it was the end for John Cena. An alright match, fast one, but he obviously could’ve won like he did when beat Show for the U.S. Title.

Sheamus vs Evan Bourne no contest

This match sucked. It wasn’t even a match. Sheamus dropped Evan Bourne and then got on the mic for no apparent reason. I didn’t care for it.

Maryse defeated Kelly Kelly

Another boring divas match, not even worth mentioning really.

Post match all the divas started fighting, with McCool & Layla coming to the aid of Maryse and most likely setting up a Wrestlemania match with all the divas.

HBK defeated Chris Jericho via countout

Jericho and Michaels put on a quality match for Raw. HBK was having a hard time against Jericho, as Jericho was one step ahead for most of the match up, however, HBK would go for a comeback and had this thing all but sewn up at various stages of the match. Jericho wasn’t just going down easily though, until he missed the Lionsault when HBK put his knees up. HBK looked like he had this thing easily won, but Jericho ran away.

Post match Jericho was attacked by Edge, and a huge SPEAR knocked out Jericho and got the crowd exploding.

Wresltemania got a new match signed tonight, it will be Randy Orton vs Ted Dibiase vs Cody Rhodes in a triple threat match.

Triple H vs Randy Orton no contest

This match wasn’t half bad, it was actually kind of going well until it sort of died. How? Legacy ran n and beat up Triple H and Orton. That was that. Through the match it was back and forth, and I liked it overall.

Post match Legacy continued to beat up Orton. Triple H got back in the ring and started to help Orton but Sheamus jumped in and hit a huge boot to the face.

Batista defeated Kofi Kingston

This match was all Kofi for a while, and Batista looked like he was having problems. After Kofi busted Batista’s face open with a nice looking kick, Batista got really mad and attacked viciously. He eventually knocked out Kofi and won! Batista wins an impressive match, even though he got busted wide open.

I hate contact signings. This was yet another contract signing, only this time Stone Cold was the moderator, or whatever. It was stupid to me. I don’t like this stuff….oh well.

It's official, Bret "the Hitman" Hart vs Vince McMahon in a no holds barred match will take place at Wrestlemania XVI!

I thought Stone Cold was going to have a better night as WWE Host. As Austin leaves he lets Bret show Vince that his leg is not broken at all!

Hart yells that VINCE SCREWED VINCE, then hits Mcmahon with Cast, and then gets thrown over the table.

McMahon was left in the middle of the ring and Hart leaves standing tall. It'll be nice to see this match.

Help make it happen, donate a few cents?

WWE Monday Night Raw 3/810 Results and Review

WWE Monday Night Raw 3/8/10 Results

Eve, Gail Kim, and Kelly Kelly defeated Alicia Fox, Maryse, and Katie Lea
R Truth & John Morrison vs. Miz Show
Ted Dibiase & Cody Rhodes defeated Randy Orton
Evan Bourne defeated William Regal in a money in the bank qualifying match
Mr. McMahon defeated John Cena in a handicap gauntlet match

WWE Monday Night Raw 3/8/10 Review

The Undertaker opened the show, as the Monday Night Wars started! Just a quick note, I’ll be reviewing TNA tomorrow, so stick around.

The Undertaker came to Raw to start talking about Shawn Michaels. HBK interrupted the Taker and came down to the ring, looking determined as ever. HBK proposed that the match be NO DQ and NO COUNTOUT and that the only way to win will be Pinfall or Submission! Undertaker accepts!

I wish I could’ve fast forwarded the show…sometimes I hate watching live wrestling. Michael Cole annoys me, even after all these years.

Eve, Gail Kim, and Kelly Kelly defeated Alicia Fox, Maryse, and Katie Lea

I saw the Smackdown Divas compete, and they were amazing. These girls? Not that great, despite the fact that there are a couple in ring that can actually work quite well. Alicia Fox is still employed? Katie Lea is still around? This match was your standard six man tag match with Gail Kim looking like she is on her way to another title shot, but other than her, this match was a throwaway contest. At least it wasn’t that short. Eve got the submission with an arm bar.

R Truth & John Morrison vs. Miz Show

This match broke down fast and the teams ended up fighting outside. The ref through the match out, and that was that.

There was a lot of backstage segments at this point, and I was tired…and eating, when I returned nothing had happened yet.

Ted Dibiase & Cody Rhodes defeated Randy Orton

Orton attacked his former friends at the ramp, and we got a commercial break. Orton was a victim to the numbers game early on, and he was fighting uphill to stay alive, but managed to get a few good hits. Orton had this thing nearly sewn up but Cody Rhodes and Dibiase wouldn’t die, and kept fighting! Orton got hit with Dream Street! Dibiase then pinned Orton clean! Orton beaten clean! Wow!

I liked this match and I liked the ending, Orton losing the numbers game is classic to me.

Post match Rhodes hit Crossroads and the two former Legacy members posed over a fallen Randy Orton.

Triple H gave some random speech, and brought out Sheamus. Sheamus looked scared. Sheamus got beat up fast, but came back to fight Triple H. The two will most likely fight it out at Wrestlemania, much to my dismay.

Evan Bourne defeated William Regal in a money in the bank qualifying match

This was a fast match, and it had Evan Bourne easily knocking off William Regal. He is now going to the money in the bank ladder match at Wrestlemania. Should be interesting to see what happens.

Mr. McMahon defeated John Cena in a handicap gauntlet match

John Cena had to run through several people in a “Handicap” Gauntlet match. First up was Kozlov and gave Cena a beat down before tagging McMahon.

McMahon called out Drew McIntyre, and he started to beat up Cena upon running down the ramp. Drew hit his finisher, then tagged in McMahon, and Mcmahon went for another pin, only to get a kick out at two.

McMahon then called out participant number 3, which was none other than Jack Swagger! Swagger started beating down Cena, and McMahon was cheering on. After the commercial break, Swagger was getting PWNED! Swagger turned it around and looked like he had Cena's number. Mcmahon once again tagged in, and couldn't pick up the pin. Cena just kept kicking out. He called out the next guy, it was Mark Henry.

Mark Henry came down to the ring, and was conflicted about beating up Cena. He got Cena to his feet then hit the world's strongest slam, and immediately tagged in McMahon, who tried to get the pin. Once again Cena kicked out.

McMahon changed the rules to make it a No Disqualification match! He then grabbed the bell, and was ready to fight, but was thwarted by Mark Henry. Henry was called to hit Cena with the bell, but didn't manage to do it, only to get Speared. Batista came down and speared Henry, and looked like he was going to take out Cena, but down came Kofi Kingston! Kingston got Batista Bombed out of the ring, and McMahon and Batista tried to fight Cena...and it was interesting to note...Cena finally got his hands on McMahon! Batista speared Cena, and McMahon pounced, but before it was done Cena got hit with a Batista Bomb! McMahon then pinned Cena and won! McMahon defeats CENA!

Overall, this Raw wasn't half bad. I liked how it finished, and I liked how McMahon & Batista are forming a good union. This will most likely set up a Cena win at Wrestlemania, but I haven't seen a stronger Heel out of Batista in a long time. I love how he is being portrayed right now as a top guy, and I'm buying it for sure!

I haven't liked Raw in a long time, but tonight it was actually kind of good. My faith is somewhat restored now. Stay tuned for the TNA report, most likely tomorrow morning.

WWE Monday Night Raw 1/25/09 Results and Review Week Before Rumble

WWE Monday Night Raw 1/25/10 Results

DX defeated Legacy
The Big Show defeated MVP
Maryse defeated EVE
Cena vs. Sheamus (no contest)
Gail Kim defeated Alicia Fox

WWE Monday Night Raw 1/25/10 Review

They announced the guest hosts, and I already forgot who it was.

The show opened up with Degeneration X coming out for a match.

Shawn Michaels come out and talks a lot about he wants to win the Rumble, and asks Triple H to step down to win the Rumble. HHH wouldn’t bend at all, and it seemed like the two were headed to split up.

DX defeated Legacy

So far this match up wasn’t half bad. The match overall was going well, good fast paced action, back and forth tags. Legacy isolated HBK for a while, and it was interesting to watch as usual. However, things got really interesting when HBK and HHH started having problems in ring, and it looked like Legacy was going to get the cheap win. However, DX saddled up and managed to pull off another win against the faltering Legacy team.

The Dx guys are teasing a break up, with this Royal Rumble thing. It’ll be interesting to see them drop the titles on Friday and then break up and go on their separate ways. I for one am tired of Dx.

The Big Show defeated MVP

Before this match started The Miz and MVP verbally sparred and had a few moments before Miz announced that MVP will face The Big Show. The Big Show then proceeded to defeat MVP with such ease, that it’s surprising that he would ever get a title shot, considering he’s been on the way down for a long time now. Needless to say, this match was a non match, as it was over faster than it started. It was a jobber match to say the least.

The guest host is irrelevant to me, I don’t really care about these two guys.

Maryse defeated EVE

There were some half way decent points in this match, but it seemed forced at times. Maryse nearly killing Eve with the French Kiss is interesting to me. I liked the finishing move, but overall this match was short, the crowd wasn’t in it, and it just wasn’t that good. The divas are slowly, very slowly improving.

McMahon came out and said that Bret Hart would never be back in the WWE. He then went to the crowd and asked and belittled different people. The crowd rallied and gave a huge We Want Bret chant, but it wasn’t really changing things. McMahon then decided to simply leave with the crowd booing. But out came John Cena, for no apparent reason.

Cena cut a promo and basically said that if McMahon didn’t bring back Bret Hart, he would beat up Vince McMahon next week. McMahon said that he would invite Bret Hart back next week. John Cena was then thrown into a match with Sheamus, which is supposed to be punishment? Whatever.

Gail Kim defeated Alicia Fox

Gail Kim was hitting some impressive moments in this match and Alicia Fox wasn’t taking them all that well. She’s not that great of a wrestler and Gail Kim was having a hard time carrying this match alone, at least from my perspective. After a few terrible counters, gail Kim won this match and moves forward to facing Maryse in the divas tournament.

Cena vs. Sheamus (no contest)

Cena and Sheamus battled in a match, which seemed off, since there’s nothing to build towards now that they are giving away a potential main event. Whatever the case is, Sheamus was in control of this match for a good portion of it. Cena was getting dismantled, which is usually how Cena matches go anyways, but Sheamus wasn’t looking tired or faced as it progressed. Cena was out cold at ringside, after a kick by Sheamus and the count was on. As Sheamus was alone out ran Randy Orton and knocked out Sheamus, the bell rang, and this was another thrown out match? Does Sheamus win cause Orton? I don’t know, no one said anything.

Post match it looked like Orton had his eyes set on Cena, but Cena hit an Attitude Adjustment and that was the end of that.

Final Thoughts:

My internet kept going in and out during the writing of this review, so I was definitely more focused on that. I hate how I’m struggling to pay $40 for internet and it’s not even reliable.

This raw was ok, a lot of things happened, nothing stands out as excellent. The opening match was interesting, Kofi getting over on Miz also had a good amount of damage. Other than that though, this night of Raw is somewhat forgettable.

WWE Friday Night Smackdown 8/7/09 Results and Review Punk is Bad

WWE Friday Night Smackdown 8/7/09 Results

CM Punk vs Jeff Hardy no contest
John Morrison defeated Tyson Kidd
Slam Master J defeated Charlie Haas
Dolph Ziggler defeated Finlay, R Truth, and Mike Knox
JTG defeated Chris Jericho
The Great Khali defeated Ricky Ortiz
Jeff Hardy defeted CM Punk

WWE Friday Night Smackdown 8/7/09 Review

CM Punk was out to ring side and giving a heel promo, guised as a face promo? He was talking about how the fans need him, and that he is better than Hardy because he doesn’t drink, smoke, or do drugs.

CM Punk vs Jeff Hardy no contest

This match never got off the ground, the two were fighting so hard that it prompted security to come out and separate them. This was so out of control that it prompted Vince McMahon to come out and talk about how Teddy Long is on probation, and introduced a new guest enforcer for the title match between Hardy and Punk.

The guest enforcer is, to be announced.

Hardy then lunged at Punk, and Punk escaped to ringside. This match for all intents and purposes was a no contest, for now.

John Morrison defeated Tyson Kidd

I admit, Morrison is good, but I’m not a fan. Kidd is ok, but I’m not a fan either. Maybe the two could wake me up from my pizza coma, as I had pizza for dinner. Early on the match was somewhat slow, to start, however once the battle went to the floor Kidd got the leg up, and was overpowering Morrison with the numbers game. Morisson, after the break, was all over Kidd with heavy weight moves. Including a signature Standing Moonsault, creating a near fall that jolted him. Kidd was trying to keep up, but was actually out wrestled by a heavier, more agile Morrison. Morrison did get into a cross submission maneuver, and looked decent, but it just seemed a little sloppy in comparison to Morrison. Morrison hit Starship Pain on Kidd’s FACE! No doubt hurting the lad, and this match was over. Kidd got hit hard, I’m surprised that Kidd wasn’t legit knocked out, as Morrison looked a little bit callous and reckless with that final move for the win.

Slam Master J defeated Charlie Haas

Jam Master J picked up his first win on Smackdown as a solo wrestler. Haas did ok, but this was another job well done for good ol’ Charlie Haas who just basically laid down for Master J to win. This was another one of Charlie Haas’s losses, face it, he’s on his way out.

Dolph Ziggler defeated Finlay, R Truth, and Mike Knox

This match featured four IC title contenders, in a free for all type match. Each one was hitting hard and no one was getting the clear advantage early on. Mike Knox looked like he was going to win this one, but after a few near falls, it was a cluster of humanity in the ring. Each member getting shots on the other, eventually it was Dolph Ziggler getting over with a pinfall. Ziggler wasn’t a major factor in this match, and in fact the only one that seemed to get a big reaction was R Truth, but it was to no avail, Ziggler will once again try to steal the show with Rey for the Intercontinental title at summerslam.

JTG defeated Chris Jericho

Chris Jericho can make anyone look good and he proved it in this match. JTG is not a top worker, yet he strung together an alright match with none other than Jericho, who is simply on top of his game right now. The two exchanged some quick pinfalls, and near misses, with Jericho putting over JTG in the end. JTG hit a nice top rope leg drop, and when Jericho thought he had won this one after a codebreaker, JTG managed to roll up Jericho while he was arguing with the ref, getting the quick pinfall! JTG defeated Jericho, and this match wasn’t half bad.

The Great Khali defeated Ricky Ortiz

Ricky Ortiz might be on his way out too, because he just lost in like 5 minutes. Khali hit the plunge and then pinned Ortiz with ease. A total squash; maybe Ortiz is next to get thrown out aka fired.

Jeff hardy defeated CM Punk w/ special guest enforcer Matt hardy

Matt Hardy is back and he has his cast off. He looks to have gained a little weight too, and he’s going to be the enforcer!

Jeff Hardy started this match like the champ, fast and easily putting Punk at bay, holding onto the overall aptitude of the match up. Punk turned things around after the commercial break and looked like he was going to get the upper hand in this match up, but wasn’t able to counter some of Hardy’s offense, which sometimes came out of nowhere with no way to telegraph things. Punk hit a picture perfect top rope superplex and was ready to hit the GTS, looking like the title was in his reach, but instead decided to punish hardy a little before hand, allowing Hardy to reverse it, only to get into a nearfall yet again. Punk jumped to the outside where Matt and Jeff had to face each other, but nothing happened…until Punk baseball slid Matt to the floor! Hardy capitalized on the distraction and hit the Twist of Fate then went for the Swanton Bomb, but Punk got his knees up! Matt pulled the referee while Punk was at a 2 count! Hardy then hit a nice roll up, and Matt counted really fast, allowing Hardy to win the match, and punk was left mad at Matt! Punk then chased Matt…this thing has some interesting turning points, it’ll be interesting to see where this all goes in the near future.

Smackdown wasn’t all that great. However, after last night’s terrible night of wrestling, this was much appreciated.

Post match, Punk once again pummeled Jeff Hardy, hitting him with a chair and making short work of Hardy, too bad it was after the match was over!

WWE Monday Night Raw 3/30/09 Results and Review One More Raw

The raw before Wrestlemania should be good right? We’ll see. It opened up with a Hearse being parked in the backstage area, who knows what that’s all about.

Tiffany & The Good Divas defeated the bad divas

I didn’t get all the names in this match up. By the time it was over I didn’t even get all the names. This seemed like a 12 man tag or something, this was a terrible match. Tiffany won the pinfall, and that was it.

Post match Santino came down to the ring in a robe. He took off the robe and was in a Mankini! Hilarious, he started dancing and all the divas were laughing. This was a poor segment, funny, but poor.

Chris Jericho defeated Jerry Lawler

Chris Jericho and Lawler? This should have been the wrestlemania match, not the three on one. Of course, I dug a little deeper and found that Vince isn’t too high on Lawler being in Wrestlemania as a huge participant, but that of course is all rumor, and no real concrete evidence of anything. Jericho came in and controlled the beginning of this match, hitting Lawler hard with simple moves. Lawler mounted a small comeback in the middle of this match and it wasn’t half bad. Lawler has a few matches left in his tank, but not in the same capacity as Jericho, and this was proven when Jericho slapped on the Walls of Jericho for the win.

Rey Mysterio jr defeated JBL

I’m not sure why they had this match, it was Jbl and Rey Mysterio? They should’ve saved this match or the ppv or put these guys in a tag match, not given it away for free on Raw. This was a non title match, and I’m not sure what the WWE was thinking. They have so many people on the roster, and they could’ve filled it here, but instead we got this match early. Not much of a match at all, this one ended predictably and I guess that’s all that can be said about this match up.

The Big Show defeated John Cena

John Cena and Big Show? Really? This was done so many times before; not as many times as they did with Edge and Cena but come on! What a terrible way to wedge in more wrestling onto Raw. This match was standard big man style vs no style cena. Cena needs to turn heel, and he should’ve done it yesterday. Terrible match.

Kane won an 8 man battle royal

This match sucked. It was your basic battle royal with all the participants in the Money in the Bank match up. Overall a boring endeavor and a crappy lead into wrestlemania.
Randy Orton got his best desserts with The Mcmahon family bum rushing Orton and beating him up.

Yay…Raw sucked, it’s been a while since raw sucked this bad.

WWE Raw 3/30/09 Results

Tiffany got a pinfall in a twelve man tag…it was so short I couldn’t get into it.

Raw 6/24/2008 Results: Vince McMahon Dead

Complete Raw 3 Hour Draft Special Restuls

WWE Champion Triple H def. Mark Henry. Rey Mysterio was drafted to Raw from SmackDown.
Finlay & Hornswoggle def. Santino Marella & Carlito. Jeff Hardy was drafted from Raw to SmackDown.

What a waste of a match. Seriously, what a waste. Mark Henry never had a chance.

Jeff Hardy going to Smackdown is going to be awesome. That will definitely be good for their demographic of Lucha Libre fans, and hopefully we can see some movement in the world title hunt.

World Tag Team Champions Hardcore Holly & Cody Rhodes def. Chavo Guerrero & Bam Neely. CM Punk was drafted from ECW to Raw.

Ted Dibiase on commentary was good. He seems to know what's up, and the new Million Dollar Man book looks awesome. Although that book is only the second book he's done, because he previously released a biography. This one will be fuller, i'm sure.

As for the CM PUNK trade, that's good, but what about the Money in the Bank Suitcase? I guess eventually he could go wherever he wants, so the Draft isn't that big of a deal.

WWE Tag Team Champions John Morrison & The Miz def. United States Champion Matt Hardy & Jeff Hardy. Matt Hardy was drafted from SmackDown to ECW.
WWE Women’s Champion Mickie James & Melina and the team of Victoria & Natalya were in a tag team match that ended as a double disqualification. Jim Ross was drafted to SmackDown and Michael Cole was drafted to Raw.

Melina took a major bump, and messed up her ankle, causing the match to just go into a double DQ. Either way, Michael Cole and Jim Ross traded places, and both looked very sad about it. The King and Foley also looked appalled and had to really try to suck it up and continue the match up.

J.R. Almost Quit over the news, so they say....

John Cena def. World Heavyweight Champion Edge. Batista was drafted to Raw from SmackDown.

Cena of course defeats Edge, although by count out. Batista is drafted, and this story only makes sense if Edge already knew the outcome, because now he's rejoicing. But Batista still gets a shot at the title.

MVP def. Tommy Dreamer with Colin Delaney. Umaga was drafted to SmackDown from Raw.

The jobbing Machine lost badly. Delaney got tore up! Umaga goign to Smackdown is somewhat interesting, but he's not much a monster to me.

I think Jamie Noble is going to be fed to him to prove that he still can wrestle.

JBL def. Kofi Kingston. ECW Champion Kane was drafted to Raw from ECW.

Kane is going to Raw? What about the ECW title? This makes no sense; I guess Big Show is going to take the title? I don't know. The match was cool though, KOFI is seriously good, if he can get some help in the ring and JBL did alright, even though he's fat.

Edge won a Tri-Branded 15-Man Battle Royal. WWE Champion Triple H and Mr. Kennedy were drafted to SmackDown from Raw.

Batista getting busted wide open was insane. I can't believe that there was no blading in this one. He ran head first into Edge's head and he got busted open the hard way. He was a mess, and Cena was trying to give him some time by mopping up anyone who got in front of the big man. Batista held on a while until he got thrown out by Big Show.

The match was good, but the ending...wow....Triple H and Kennedy gone to Smackdown.

Overall this weeks Raw was really good. I liked it a lot. I hope that they continue to level this all out.

My favorite spot was Y2J coming out and HBK attacking him. Now that's what I call a feud!

Vince McMahon Dying was lame. He's not dead, he's not hurt, that angle is so stupid.

McMahon Is Full of It

Vince McMahon isn't giving away 1 Million dollars, he's trying to get ratings, and it is not working! Many wrestling insiders have already reported that the WWE is so upset with the lack of response to ratings, that they are going to curtail the million dollar giveaway faster than fast.

Did you win?

I didn't win crap.

Now, thanks to Smackdown's crack announce team, you have to go back to wwe.com and re-register to win some money.

But, the chances of you winning anything are slim and none, and slim just left the building.

Vince McMahon is full of it.

Better Matches, Better Feuds, More wrestling, and less stupid storylines would work a lot better in getting the ratings up.

They need to make new stars; they have so much potential. They need a tag division...they need...they need....

RAVEN!

A longshot, I know, but come on...anything but the product that is growing stale.

Ultimate Warrior vs Vince Mcmahon Plus ECW Announce Team Quits

Ultimate Warrior vs Vince McMahon

Wrestling news sites are discussing the possibility of having The Ultimate Warrior wrestle Vince McMahon at Wrestlemania 25!

Recently the Warrior has expressed interest on a radio interview that he would like to do something big for the 25th anniversary of Wrestlemania.

I don't know why though, considering the Ultimate Warrior wasn't even a major player in the wrestling game until the third Wrestlemania.

Let's just say that he does get his match with Vince, is Vince capable of having one more match? Can The Warrior even be trusted?

I'm not sure. The Warrior's wrestling dvd released through the WWE a few years back indicates that The Warrior is not to be trusted in the ring, and is not very professional, but Vince always says...never say never.

The ECW announce team apparently quit, or at least walked off the ECW set on Tuesday night.

Why would Tazz leave though?

Joey Styles replacement is horrible, gets bagged on by everyone, and is an all around idiot when compared to Joey...then again...Foley is the new announcer over at Smackdown...what will happen when Jim Ross Dies?

In my view, no one can replace Him...and well...we're going to have problems when he kicks the bucket.

Look for the ECW thing to be a work, as I doubt Vince and crew want to give up on ECW right now.

Did Samoa Joe Shoot?

Everyone is discussing this hot topic and after hearing the comments that Samoa Joe made at the Turning Point ppv, I'm wondering myself; Did Samoa Joe shoot?

I don't know.

His comments were basically what every fan of TNA has been thinking for a long time.

The notion that the older, has beens from WCW and WWE glory are coming into TNA and thinking they could just do whatever they want without any sort of problems is ludicrous. Not only that, this comes in light of the fact that Scott Hall no showed.

From what I have heard, this also caused some problems back stage after Samoa Joe's rant went on.

In the back, they had a meeting, in which TNA management gathered all the wrestlers contracts and basically said that anyone that was not happy with the direction of TNA could speak up and they would void their contract on the spot.

Who left?

Senshi.

And everyone else stood there and shut their mouths.

Samoa Joe shooting seems like a low tactic by TNA to drum up controversy, in the same fashion that WCW did post 2000 and a major factor in how WCW fell and was eventually bought out by Vince McMahon.
