WWE Monday Night Raw 10/18/10 Results and Review

WWE Monday Night Raw 10/18/10 Results

Drew McIntyre & Cody Rhodes defeated The Hart Dynasty
Randy Orton & John Cena defeated Husky Harris & Michael McGullicutty
Natalya defeated Alicia Fox
Team Smackdown defeated Team Raw in a Battle Royal

WWE Monday Night Raw 10/18/10 Review

Teddy Long came out and introduced the trophy for Bragging Rights and whatever. Michael Cole got onto the general manager's computer and told Teddy Long to leave or else...but Teddy Long went to the podium and disconnected the RAW GENERAL MANAGER! Yep.

Ezekiel Jackson returned...both teams from Bragging Rights were fighting in the middle of the ring! Just a huge brawl here. Nothing too crazy, I liked it enough.

Drew McIntyre & Cody Rhodes defeated The Hart Dynasty

Once again, the tag team champions prevail, with a great amount of offense involved. The Hart Dynasty looked to not be on the same page, and that's what cost them the match. Nothing too crazy here, average tag match, with a few good spots, and once again, another team splits up...showcasing the lack of real tag teams in the WWE.

Goldust got beat up by Ted Dibiase, but FINAL CUT was hit, and Ted Dibiase was laid out cold! I love the push, I'm hoping the push continues as Goldust is now getting the "spotlight"!

Randy Orton & John Cena defeated Husky Harris & Michael McGullicutty

There's nothing like a good burial, huh? The top faces on Raw beat up the new comers to the NXT crew, and this match was just that..a burial. I liked it enough, with the standard power moves here and there, Orton getting the RKO, Cena hitting the Attitude Adjustment and that's about it.

Post match, Nexus came out and Orton was targeted and beat up as Cena watched.

Vickie Guerrero came out with Dolph Ziggler, but that only prompted Daniel Bryan to come out and challenge Ziggler to a match against Daniel Bryan at Bragging Rights!!!!

It could be a 4 star classic folks!

The two brawled and that was awesome.

Vickie Guerrero was humiliated by the divas, which was funny, then Daniel Bryan was invited to have a dance party in the ring, and well that was that.

Natalya defeated Alicia Fox

Once again, Natalya wins an easy match. There's nothing to note here. It was lame.

Big Show vs The Miz

The Big Show fought The Miz here, and it was a squash match to say the least and it was a non finish...until....

Teddy Long came out and declared the match a Smackdown vs Raw Battle Royal!

Team Smackdown defeated Team Raw in a Battle Royal

This was a fun little match and it was a Smackdown win, that's about it.

The show was fast paced, and went by way too fast for me. I don't even remember much of it, other than Edge and Big Show at the end of the show standing tall. Not bad I guess. We'll see what the ppv will bring us, that's for sure.

Ecw 9/23/08 Results and Review

ECW came through once again on Sci Fi with no nonsense wrestling at its finest. Jim Ross was on commentary, and they were coming from Ohio State University! Todd Grisham was NOT on the show!

The Miz and Morrison opened the show and started to whine about how the new Superstars are messing them up. Teddy Long showed up and said what’s up, and told the former champs that the young bucks will continue to astonish and come through ECW. This prompted Ricky Ortiz came out and I swear he looks like the guy from Final Fight, anyone else feel that way?

Ricky Ortiz

Finlay defeated Bam Neely

If anyone thought that Bam Neely was going to win this one than you’re an idiot. Seriously, this match was somewhat boring. It was a standard squash match and Finlay once again gets an easy night in the WWE by defeating the most useless body guard of all time. I hope Bam gets fired soon.

Maryse defeated Michelle McCool

Word on the street is that Michelle McCool is going out with the Undertaker, and some might even say that’s why she’s the diva’s champion, but that’s neither here nor there. McCool is putting up some good matches, even though I don’t know if she’s all that great. Maryse is NOT that good, and actually looks like a fish out of water out there. There are moments in this match where Maryse is busy adjusting her outfit, rather than being the aggressor. There are even moments where Stryker and Ross talk about how Maryse isn’t capitalizing on her opportunities. Just after they said that, Maryse dropped McCool with a spike DDT and McCool loses this match after getting thrown off the top rope and the spike DDT. Maryse wins? Yep.

Mike Knox defeated Chase Stevens

Knox defeated Stevens easily. The most impressive part of this match up was that Knox was actually over with the crowd. The crowd even counted the one, two, three in this match. Jim Ross was basically selling Knox to the home audience waxing over how great he is as if Mike Knox was the second coming of HHH. Post Match Jack Swagger came out and dropped Stevens only to prompt Knox to come back to ringside, distracting Tommy Dreamer whom ran down for the save, and of course Jack Swagger drops Tommy Dreamer for his troubles. Swagger then is billed as an All American Wrestling machine, and the announce team really try to sell this guy to me. I don’t buy it.

The Miz and John Morrison wrestled to a No Contest

The Miz and John Morrison put on a good match, and I admit The Miz is the most improved wrestler that I've seen in a long time. I recall when he first showed up in WWE I was first to call him a Reality Show retard, but this guy is good now. NOt great, but good enough to be out there with Morrison and put on an entertaining match up. Towards the end of this match, I was really starting to get into it, and I thought it was great. I actually started to appreciate the effort that these two were putting into the match, and so did the live crowd who was starting to come alive towards the closing of this match up. The two butted heads while trying to do a top rope maneuver and both were counted down and both lost. Post match, Ricky Ortiz came out and did the BIG O on both guys then ran out of the ring and gave his rally towel to a pretty lady. (That's questionable)

WWE Thinks I'm Stupid

Like a Soap Opera the WWE has once again shoved a middle finger in front of the tv screen and told me that they think I'm stupid. First off I don't like how they have created this story line of sorts, but I also further do not like how they think the fans are stupid.

Do You really think Teddy Long is in a coma?

I don't.

I don't think he's in a coma, I don't think he's a valuable part of the Smackdown Show, and I don't want to even consider what stupidity they are going to run through skits.

Is Stone Cold coming back? Is he going to hit Teddy Long with a bedpan?

If Stone Cold came back and just stunned everyone and made matches, I'd watch for sure. But as it stands, Smackdown is really not doing so well in my view. Then again, there are a few bright spots.

But that's not to say that this angle is good. Teddy Long has never been my favorite, and this storyline of his collapse just makes me mad.
