WCW Superbrawl 1997 Results and Review A Better VHS Experience

This show starts with Roddy Piper running away from Alcatraz, like a crazy person. He runs out of jail, and onto a boat, and that’s how we start Superbrawl VII. This show was live from the Cow Palace in San Francisco with 13,000 plus fans live in 1999. Once again, it’s best to get the VHS version to see the unedited event, but of course it’s on the WWE network. Here goes my review and the results of WCW Superbrawl VII from 1997.

Where were you in 1997? I was living in West Los Angeles, learning to skateboard, and trying to just be a normal kid. Meanwhile, WWF was pushing Stone Cold Steve Austin, The Undertaker, and others. The Attitude era, I think was in full effect, or at least it was coming. But the WCW product is definitely worth noting.

WCW Superbrawl 1997 Results and Review

Syxx defeated Dean Malenko

This was a really good match, and for all the crap X-Pac gets, he could really go. Here he showcased great work with Dean Malenko. The match, however, involved Eddy Guerrero getting involved, causing Malenko to win the match.

Konnan, La Parka and Villano IV defeated Juventud Guerrera, Super Calo, and Ciclope

In under 12 minutes, the lucha libre stars shined. Wow, what a match. If you haven’t seen this one, check it out. Look for the graceful flight of La Parka, who is absolutely brilliant for being such a big guy. It gives us bigger guys hope, I guess. Overall, lots of action, and a good amount of time to showcase the raw talent of these guys.

Prince Iuakea defeated Rey Mysterio Jr. (WCW Television Championship)

Stephen Regal interfered at the end, but before that, Prince Iuakea and Rey put on a decent match. It was cut short, but the guys put in some great offense, and reversals. Mysterio didn’t get the pop I expected, but really shined in this match up.

DDP defeated Buff Bagwell via disqualification

Buff didn’t do much for this match to be watchable. In under 10 minutes, this was a dud, and even DDP can’t save it.

Eddy Guerrero defeated Chris Jericho (WCW United States Championship)

This was a great match, with Jericho really showing off what he learned in Mexico. Eddy (not Eddie, as you may know), looked smaller than you’d expect, and thereby being faster. He was fast and matched up great with Jericho. Jericho put on a showcase here, and the two work so well together, making this an instant classic. (just saying, they kept it as Eddy in this one, but they changed it later)

The Public Enemy defeated Harlem Heat and The Faces of Fear

This was a short triple threat match, and it ended somewhat abruptly. Public Enemy brought a table down, but that wasn’t used until later. This match was not half bad, but it wasn’t great either. It was a bit fast too, but hey, it had some good moments, including Public Enemy selling like HBK at times.

Jeff Jarrett defeated Mongo McMichael

This was a throwaway match in which we saw Debra turn on Mongo. Overall, an ok match, but nothing to really write home about.

Chris Benoit defeated The Taskmaster Kevin Sullivan in a San Francisco Death Match

This was epic. Jacquelyn was tied to Woman with a leather strap and the two were throwing haymakers at each other. They were straight up shooting, and also were getting in the way of Benoit and Sullivan. The finish of this one, holy crap. Jacquelyn and Sullivan are on top of a table and Chris Benoit dives off the top rope onto both of them, erupting the crowd into an insane cheering roar. This alone was well worth it! Although, afterwards, everyone involved was taking out in ambulances. Not sure if that was kayfabe or not, but this match was one hell of a match up.

Lex Luger and The Giant defeated The Outsiders (WCW World Tag Team Championship)

The Giant battled the Outsiders alone for the most of this match, but after a while out came Luger with a broken arm, and a cast. He would eventually get in and torture rack Kevin Nash for the win. Not a bad match, but not a great one either.

Hollywood Hogan defeated Roddy Piper

This introduced Macho Man as part of the NWO. Not a great match, in fact, not even that fun to watch. Piper was still a bit ripped at this point, and Hogan, well he played the cowardly heel. After much interference, and a false finish, Piper gets beat down and several elbow drops, and leg drops. That’s the end of this PPV, and well, it wasn’t grand.

Overall Rating: 7 out of 10

The best match of this one was the San Francisco Death Match. The women threw some hay makers at each other, and Benoit versus Sullivan always delivers. This was insane, with an even more insane ending. The last bump, holy crap, you have to see it to believe it. Other than that, a good under card, but nothing too spectacular in the main event spot. There's a lot of nice spots overall, and this is a good effort, but not marvelous.

You can pick up the unedited VHS edition of WCW Superbrawl VII here. It features the original music, and commentary, unedited!

WWE Monday Night Raw 8/15/11 Results and Review

The show opened up with a quick recap of the main event picture that was cleared up at Summerslam, and I thought it was interesting. The finish of the match reminded me a lot of Spring Stampede 98…I think it was 1998. Where Macho won the World Title from Sting after Kevin Nash power bombed Sting to hell. I liked that year’s match ups. That might have been Spring Stampede 1999…who cares.

I told you I was back. Here are my thoughts about Raw.

Triple H’s speech was ok…kind of boring and dragged out. He apologized, and went on about how he had nothing to do with Kevin Nash running in, and then handed the microphone over to Alberto Del Rio. Del Rio’s mic skills have always been up to snuff, but more so now as he is an interesting anti-hero, but will most likely end up being another run of the mill heel.

John Morrison defeated R Truth (Falls Count Anywhere)

I feel like I’ve seen every Morrison match there is to be done. Meanwhile, I feel like I’ve seen every R Truth match that can be done as well. This match had a few moments of cool, but overall it was just standard. There were some nice spots thrown in, including Truth and Morrison getting friendly with a high back office chair, but I wasn’t too impressed. Morrison is still quite good, albeit terrible promo…you’d think he’d be better by now.

The Miz did a long promo where he basically had an advertisement for Subway. I’m not a fan of getting a pillow case full of lettuce, I’m sorry.

Kelly Kelly & Rosa defeated The Bella Twins

The bathroom match happened here. I talked to my girlfriend, and then it was over. Apparently Rosa got the pin…Or something…who cares. I know you don’t.

Kevin Nash is looking good these days; too bad Scott Hall can’t get his act together. Kevin Nash explained his actions and what not, and out came CM Punk. Punk then lambasted Nash. Punk wanted to fight Nash, but security came out.

Jack Swagger defeated Alex Riley

This match was not too good at all, and it was made worse when Swagger couldn’t pick up Alex Riley for his finisher. Sadly, that was the end of that. Ziggler was on color commentary and he came out and started trouble with Riley, sadly, another boredom movement displayed here.

Evan Bourne & Kofi Kingston defeated David Otunga & Michael McGullicutty (non title)
I’m way out of the loop because this match didn’t seem like something I saw coming any time soon. The match up was fast paced towards the end, and Evan Bourne once again shined with his amazing shooting star press. I’m not sure if he can continue to do this type of maneuver forever, but for now, it’s quite good. This will most likely lead to a tag title match.

Alberto Del Rio defeated Rey Mysterio (WWE Title)

This match was interesting to say the least. The main reason being that the little guy supposedly is injured, and yet has no signs of wear and tear. Del Rio was fighting this thing off like a champ, I couldn’t believe how many shots to the dome Mysterio took, meanwhile Del Rio couldn’t put him away. Mysterio went for the top rope drop but Del Rio put his legs up and rolled up Mysterio for the pinfall victory, and this one was as clean as you can get for the Champion. Not a 4 star classic, but a nice main event for tonight’s Raw.

After the match Mysterio got the beat down, and afterwards John Cena ran down and beat him up. Cena did his “mad” good guy shtick, which was stupid to me.

Raw was actually watchable. There wasn't much wrestling, as per usual, but it was entertaining enough. I'm interested in seeing how far the relationship between Triple H and Kevin Nash goes. The rest, well it doesn't seem nearly as compelling.

WWE Friday Night Smackdown 1/7/11 Results

Edge defeated Kane in a last man standing match
Kofi Kingston defeated Dolph Ziggler for the United States Title
Dolph Ziggler defeated The Big Show, Drew McIntyre, Cody Rhodes
Michelle McCool defeated Kelly Kelly
Rey Mysterio defeated Alberto Del Rio in a 2 out of 3 falls match

WWE Friday Night Smackdown 1/7/11 Review

I'm a little frustrated this morning. I've failed to make any money this year, and well last year I didn't have a job, so I'm starting this year off with a lousy week, and wrestling is well, hit or miss. I had high hopes for tonight, so we'll see if all works out with Smackdown.

Edge defeated Kane in a last man standing match

I hate last man standing matches, but these two made a good one out of what I hate. The two battled in the ring, then eventually battled it out in the crowd, and started to climb upwards to the upper deck seats. They made it to the top of the building and they started fighting near the luxury suites. This no doubt had the crowd going, and I was marking out huge, since I haven't seen this kind of violence since Mankind fought the Rock. The two would eventually go back to the ring, and Kane took control of this one. He beat down Edge and then threw him through the announce table. Edge managed to beat out Kane in this match up, which ended with Edge hitting his patented spear but Kane couldn't get up as his leg buckled under him from a chair shot. Yep, no blood, a few brawls in the concessions, and this was over. Edge beat kane in a 20+ minute battle. I liked it enough, but it wasn't a four star classic in any sense of the word.

Kofi Kingston defeated Dolph Ziggler for the United States Title

This match was a nice back and forth match up with great action from both men. The match had the crowd going amidst lots of Kofi Kingston offense and a hard fought battle. Ziggler managed to fight through with some nice couners, and I thought he'd once again win, but nope. Kofi hit a nice crossbody and beat Ziggler, then immediately, Ziggler wanted a rematch but lost after Trouble in Paradise, and Kofi wins.

I'm hoping Dolph gets pushed towards the world title, as he's got a lot of wrestling talent. He put on a good show in the matches, and Kofi did a lot of work.

Dolph Ziggler defeated The Big Show, Drew McIntyre, Cody Rhodes

A triple threat match for the #1 contender tot he world title? I like the idea. Drew McIntyre was supposed to be involved, but somehow he was sidestepped and Dolph Ziggler was put into the match up thanks to Vickie, making this a fourway match up. McIntyre was beat up and isolated, and then Big Show took control over most of this match up, stomping out all the smaller men, with relative ease. The Future Shock DDT was hit on Big Show and it looked like Big Show would lose this one in the end, but he couldn't pin the big man down. Ziggler managed to hit his finisher on Cody Rhodes, making Dolph Ziggler the #1 contender. This match was quite interesting, a good overall match up even though there were a lot of short stops and breathers. Edge will face Ziggler, and I for one think it can be one of the better feuds in recent memory.

Wade Barrett came out to beat up Big Show, which was weird.

Michelle McCool defeated Kelly Kelly

McCool had an ok match up, and beat down Kelly Kelly with relative ease. This match wasn't that great, but whatever.

Rey Mysterio defeated Alberto Del Rio in a 2 out of 3 falls match

This match was interesting, and Mystery managed to have a lot of great action in this one, despite having his arm injured. Alberto Del Rio was able to manage a lot of the offense and counter from time to time, but it was obvious that he was out matched by a much faster Mysterio. The two traded falls but in the end, the ring announcer helped Alberto Del Rio get the second fall and beat Rey Mysterio yet again! This match was good, don't get me wrong, I just don't know where they are going with this feud. I love Del Rio's gimmick, and I'm hoping that they continue this feud somehow.

Overall a good night of wrestling tonight on Smackdown, and something that if you saw, You enjoyed too, I hope. Post match Mysterio mixed it up with Del Rio's ring announcer, and this match was touted as the bitter end...but I'm hoping it isn't.

WWE Friday Night Smackdown 12/31/10 Results

Drew McIntyre defeated Trent Barretta
The Big Show defeated Cody Rhodes via disqualification
Edge & Rey Mysterio defeated Kane & Alberto Del Rio
Beth Phoenix & Natalya defeated Laycool
Dolph Ziggler defeated Jack Swagger & Kofi Kingston in a triple threat match

WWE Friday Night Smackdown 12/31/10 Review

HAPPY NEW YEAR for all of you out there reading this blog. All 3 of you! I still have no job, still have no internet access the house, and am writing you this from the local public library. I'm hoping that changes this year. If you'd like to help out, visit amazon.com here, and spend some money, every little bit helps.

The night opened up with Dolph Ziggler and Vickie Guerrero getting booed out of the building. Vickie said she had Vertigo and deserved compassion. After some talking out came Kofi Kingston and he got on the mic and said that Vickie's condition was BS.

I loved this segment. Kofi's not half bad on the mic, especially when he's just talking straight up. He doesn't need that Jamaican accent.

Jack Swagger has a new shirt and it is amazing. The new JACK SWAGGER SHIRT! WOOT! I'd buy it if I had a few dollars. Jack Swagger came out to the ring and cut a promo as well about the ladder match at TLC and how stupid it ended.

The three started to fight and out came Teddy Long and set up a triple threat Intercontinental Championship match for later.

The Big Show defeated Cody Rhodes via disqualification

Big Show came out to some cheers and he too had a new shirt, which looked good. Show seems a big lighter than usual, and he took it to COdy Rhodes. Rhodes really got beat down in this match, and it was not as "fake" as people seem to think. Dashing Cody Rhodes really got beat up, and the crowd was all over this match, especially when The Big Show put his BUTT in Cody Rhodes face. Dashing Cody Rhodes eventually walked away and got counted out as Big Show was just "too" much for the guy.

Backstage there was a party and it was ok. Some little moments and funny segments. Cole poked fun at Kaval for losing to Drew McIntyre.

There is NO heat on Drew. In fact, if you check out Botchamania's latest episode there's footage from the arenas, and NO ONE CARES! This guy sucks. I hate him.

Drew McIntyre defeated Trent Barretta

This match was interesting to see, and wasn't half bad. There was some nice back and forth action, but it took a nasty looking turn towards the end. Drew managed to get out of the way as Trent flew over the top rope and landed completely on his back and neck. He was going for a Suicide Dive over the top rope and just knocked himself out. The match did had some nice brutality from Drew, and it was interesting to see. Barretta lands funny and it looked like he legit knocked himself out.

After the match he got the Future Shock DDT and it was over. I liked it. Yes, I liked it, even though I hate Drew.

Edge's music hits and I mark out huge! His music is just so awesome, and him as champion isn't half bad, I just hope they find a good opponent for him, because if they rehash Rey Mysterio or Kane, I'll be very sad.

Edge & Rey Mysterio defeated Kane & Alberto Del Rio

This match wasn't that great. It had some nice spots, good back and forth fast paced offense from all the guys, but they barely broke a sweat. Mysterio was isolated for a good part of the match, but Edge would eventually get the hot tag, and get Kane knocked out of the match, and hit Del Rio with a sick Spear to win the match. The 619 went straight into the Spear and that was awesome, so the good guys win again, and everyone goes home happy. It was a good sequence, I liked it, and the crowd was definitely into it, which was nice.

Beth Phoenix & Natalya defeated Laycool

Not a terrible match and interesting to see what real women's wrestlers can do. The match had some nice offense, with a good amount of time given. Laycool lost again, and that was that. This is going to get stale though.

Dolph Ziggler defeated Jack Swagger & Kofi Kingston in a triple threat match

I like the idea of the IC Title being given main even status. It's nice to see how things are going well in this division, and watching Kofi and Swagger's interaction with Dolph Ziggler was great. The offense was fast at some points and slowed down towards the end with some nice back and forth actions. Swagger was completely knocked out by Kofi with a nice ddt. Vickie kept getting involved to stop pins. Dolph Ziggler was able to win after trouble in paradise took out swagger and that was that. Ziggler rolled up Kofi and retained the title, which was interesting to see.

Dolph's continual roll up wins was great, but he put on a show with the other two guys in this match. I liked the match and am glad that the WWE is doing a lot more wrestling with the secondary titles. Ziggler and Daniel Bryan are great up and coming stars and I hope they turn into world champion s someday. A good overall match a good overall night of wrestling with nothing too stupid.

Next week Rey Mysterio will face Alberto Del Rio in a 2 out of 3 falls match up on Smackdown. They'll also have the World Title match with Kane and Edge in a last man standing match...I'm already bored.

WWE Smackdown 12/21/10 Results

Randy Orton defeated The Miz via DQ
Santino defeated Chavo Guerrero
Drew McIntyre defeated Kaval
Rey Mysterio & Kofi Kingston defeated Alberto Del Rio & Jack Swagger
John Cena defeated Dolph Ziggler & Vickie Guerrero

WWE Smackdown 12/21/10 Review

A special Tuesday night smackdown would be the start of something good, until I heard the worst Greenday track ever recorded. I hate the post "Warning" greenday sound, they went soft and sold out. I liked when they were punk...now they are? I don't know, pop.

Randy Orton defeated The Miz via DQ

The first match was The Miz facing off against Randy Orton in rematch from the ppv, although this was not a tables match. The Miz was running from Orton, and Orton was hitting Miz with heavy shots, and this thing looked like a burial job, if it weren't for The Miz constantly running out of the ring, scared.

Once Orton made a slight judgment error, The Miz started to mount a nice comeback with some rights and lefts, a suplex, some counters to Orton's signature turns, but Orton kept at it, and would eventually get the upper hand yet again. I'm not a big Orton fan, but he works really well with the Miz, and the two have a good timing, that really gets the crowd involved in their matches. I liked the pace the of this one. Alex Riley would help Miz regain the upper hand again, and this made Orton look all the more vulnerable, and Miz smarter for having Alex Riley helping him out.

Stryker stated that Orton was favoring his shoulder and neck, and the two other commentators disagreed, and after the men argued, Orton did exactly what Stryker said, he took a back drop and he favored his neck and looked injured. He would come back though, and hit a nice series of movies then his inside out DDT and was ready to deliver the RKO but Alex Riley interfered, only stopping the Viper the RKO was hit, giving Randy Orton the win via Disqualification after Riley ran in yet again! Yep. Riley saves the Miz.

Post match Randy Orton was all set to hit the punt but instead delivered a HUGE RKO to Alex Riley as Miz crawled his way out of the ring. Orton looked strong for once, and I like him 100 times better in this role than I did as the champion. This match was a quality encounter, even if there was a DQ finish, and I can only say that Miz has shocked me yet again, he's not a one trick pony, he has a lot of gusto and he proved it once again with a great match up here.

The Big Show once again was giving out cool stuff backstage as Santa Claus. Hornswoggle was also ther to give out presents. Eve joined them, and it looked interesting enough, but I knew what was coming. Dashing Cody Rhodes ran down and messed up the ring, beat up Hornswoggle, and made The Big Show very upset.

Edge cut a promo, and then Kane came out...I don't remember much of this encounter cause I was getting some more coffee.

Drew McIntyre defeated Kaval

Kaval was completely squashed here. Drew kicked him in the face which looked really sick, then hit the Future Shock DDT and this thing was over. Drew wins, Kaval gets buried, he needs to go back to TNA.

Santino defeated Chavo Guerrero

Despite Chavo's continual play up of his "Latino" heat gimmick, or rather the late Great Eddie Guerrero's gimmick, he just can't manage to get away from jobber status. Santino got a beating throughout this match but was able to deliver The Cobra to pin Chavo yet again. Chavo needs to just quit and join TNA or something, he hasn't been over in such a long time.

Rey Mysterio & Kofi Kingston defeated Alberto Del Rio & Jack Swagger

This match was a good fast paced match with lots of room to breathe. I'm surprised Del Rio was in this match as much as he was, while Swagger took most of the bumps here. Kofi and Rey are a good fast paced team and never let up on the offense. They hit all your crowd pleasing spots, and then with the 619 and Trouble In Paradise knocking out the bad guys, Kofi and Rey won. The two did a nice double High Cross body off the top rope, and boy, the 12 year old inside of me was going completely nuts for this match. This match was nothing more than a crowd pleaser, and a quality match up after the squash match before it.

John Cena defeated Dolph Ziggler & Vickie Guerrero

John Cena started this match up fast and I liked it. John was completely in control and Ziggler was bumping great like he was on Raw. Eventually Ziggler was able to capitalize on a Cena quick overlook and would work him over, and at one point Vickie Guerrero got in and got a couple of shots in against Cena. This once again is a testament to how good Ziggler is in ring, as he is one of the most competant workers that the WWE has. I can see Ziggler getting a world title run or at least getting over enough to get title shots because he was looking great against a much more experienced John Cena.

One of the best points of the match was a nice reversal on an Irish Whip from Ziggler in which he sent Cena into the ropes and Cena went for the shoulder block only to miss by a split second when Ziggler dropped and let Cena roll through the ropes onto the floor. It was such a well timed spot that I was marking out alongside the San Antonio crowd. I was going nuts, becuase this match, once again, was one of the best matches I've seen all year, and that's saying a lot.

Vickie Guerrero tagged in towards the end of the match and completely fell on her face as she tried to deliver a splash on Cena. Ziggler would eventually get back in and started to lose his cool as Cena was hitting his five moves of doom, and despite my hatred for him all year, I was marking out huge for the 5 Knuckle Shuffle! Ziggler countered the Attitude Adjustment and hit the Leg Drop (I forget what it's called) but wasn't able to win the match. Cena hit the STF and Vickie came in to argue with Cena and break up the submission attempt. CENA then kissed Vickie Guerrero and then hit the Attitude Adjustment on Ziggler and pinned the Intercontinental Champion two nights in a row!

This match was incredible fun and the kiss on Cena was awesome to see. Better yet was the attempt at an Attitude Adjustment on Vickie Guerrero! He was stopped by none other than CM PUNK! That's right CM PUNK jumped in with a chair and full wrestling gear and knocked out John Cena with a CHAIR!

A CM PUNK JOHN CENA FEUD?!?!?! I'm all in folks, I'm all freakin in if this is how they are going to build to that feud. Oh man, I love it. Smackdown, for once, was a great show, no filler all killer, I liked it a lot, and you should've liked it too. What a great couple of nights of wrestling.

Whether you hate John Cena or Love John Cena, you're going to probably want to check out The John Cena Experience 3 DISC DVD set or the BLU RAY High Definition John Cena Experience. The set contains 16 matches from all over Cena's career but most importantly goes behind the scenes of his life to show you just how much effort he puts into working for the WWE. The commercial was quite interesting and the set looks like something you'd want to pick up. If you're interested in the John Cena Experience click here to purchase it for cheap, it helps this blog continue and hopefully gets me an internet connection at home, because right now I'm using the old library in my town.

Thanks for reading! Leave comments, send emails my way, and subscribe to the RSS FEED right here, as we head into another great year of wrestling.

WWE Tribute To The Troops 12/18/10 Results

Kofi Kingston & The Big Show defeated Jack Swagger & Dolph Ziggler
Rey Mysterio Jr, Randy Orton, and John Cena defeated Alberto Del Rio, The Miz, and Wade Barrett

WWE Tribute To The Troops 12/18/10 Review

The show started with Diddy Dirty Money doing their single...terrible.

Kofi Kingston & The Big Show defeated Jack Swagger & Dolph Ziggler

It's amazing to see the WWE outdoors, and more importantly to have a crowd that is so loud and appreciative of the WWE superstars. Every move was completely over with the crowd. Big Show slapped Ziggler and the crowd was louder than any arena. The bad guys tried to fight off the onslaught of Kofi and Big Show, but they were getting thrown around, to the crowd's delight, and eventually lost the battle and the match.

Trace Adkins did a "hardcore country" song, haha, he sucks.

Cedric The Entertainer did some stand up. It got a couple of laughs.

Rey Mysterio Jr, Randy Orton, and John Cena defeated Alberto Del Rio, The Miz, and Wade Barrett

Cena and the Miz started this match up and got the crowd going early. This match was really standard, but with such a strong crowd, it made it so cool to watch. I can not put into words how over John Cena is, and how much this crowd was into every single step of the match, even when tags were made and new guys went in. That being said, Orton and Mysterio were also completely over and the crowd was just amazing, it made me completely forget about all story lines and politics, and just absolutely marked out huge for everything. When Mysterio got tagged in, he was completely on, solid, and didn't miss a step at all, which was amazing, because he's not always so on point with his move set. Alex Riley got involved and helped Miz and his team get the upper hand.

Towards the end of the match the 50,000 plus crowd on hand was just completely chanting for Cena to get in the match, and when he finally made it, it was just pandamonium. Mysterio hit a double 619 on Del Rio and Barrett and an RKO and an Attitude Adjustment hit side by side caused the bad guys to go home with a loss, and the troops went nuts.

WWE Friday Night Smackdown 12/17/10 Results

Kofi Kingston & Kaval defeated Dolph Ziggler & Jack Swagger
Cody Rhodes defeated Chris Masters
The Miz defeated Rey Mysterio
Santino & Kozlov defeated Tyler Reks & Chavo Guerrero
The Miz & Alberto Del Rio vs. Edge & Rey Mysterio (no contest)

WWE Friday Night Smackdown 12/17/10 Review

Edge started the show to a huge ovation. I absolutely love Edge's music and his entrance. I really like Edge when he's not involved in hokie story lines and looking like an idiot. Edge started talking on the mic, and it was boring, but his entrance and music was awesome. A video recap of the last 4 weeks was shown and how stupid it really was. I don't know anyone that liked it at all, and hopefully their feud ends at TLC.

Backstage, Teddy Long set up a four way TLC match at the ppv. Well, let's be honest, he set up a triple threat match if Kane didn't show up, but of course I heard a spoiler on some random podcast, and knew that the stipulation would be made after all. So, Teddy Long set up a four way TLC match...which sounds a lot better to me, than the standard one. I hope it is great.

Kofi Kingston & Kaval defeated Dolph Ziggler & Jack Swagger

It's funny to see Kofi Kingston in the opening match, considering that just a few months back he was in the main event picture with Randy Orton. Remember that? Neither does Kofi.

There's this guy that works at the Jewelry store in the mall where I live and he looks exactly like Jack Swagger. I like the new Jack Swagger shirt, by the way, but the guy at the mall is named Zack, so I've been calling him "Zack" Swagger. For all I know, Jack Swagger is actually working at the mall, when he's not jobbing out on Smackdown.

Kofi Kingston will face Dolph Ziggler and Jack Swagger in a Ladder Match for the intercontinental championship. I for one am glad to see that on paper. Too bad Kaval is wasted on this night.

The match was your standard tag match, with Kaval taking a lot of damage up front. Kofi and Kaval both used a lot of fast paced maneuvers to try and thwart the harder, slower pace of Swagger and Ziggler. Kofi hit Trouble in Paradise at the end of the match to pin Ziggler with relative ease, and this match helps get Kaval in the winners circle for once. I doubt Kingston will get the belt, but Swagger as Intercontinental Champion? I can see that. Kofi has some sick height on his jumps, I'm hoping he dives off the top of a ladder on Sunday, we'll have to wait and see. At this point though, I think I miss Shelton Benjamin.

Post match, Jack Swagger decked Dolph Ziggler.

The Miz is on Smackdown, with Alex Riley. The Miz is one of the most media champion we've had in a very long time, and that's one of the coolest things about the Miz's title reign. No other champion has had the media blitz that The Miz has gotten, and he truly deserves it, since he worked amazingly hard to get to that spot. No one can take that away from him.

JTG got a full new promo! Str8 outta Brooklyn with JTG! He's acting the fool, which is funny and could actually work. He can talk, and getting him on the midcard could be positive.

Drew McIntyre was hitting on some random diva...oh man, cheating on Tiffany already? Oh that's Kelly Kelly! I heard she's a ring rat, and it's confirmed by a lot of wrestlers in shoot interviews.

Cody Rhodes defeated Chris Masters

I recall Chris Masters being a knockoff of Lex Luger's old gimmick, but lately, he's nothing more than a glorified jobber and this match proved once again that he's nothing more than that. This fast match really was one sided, with Cody Rhodes eventually hitting Cross Rhodes to get the victory. I like his finisher, I just wish he had a more prominent feud or title chase or something. Chris Masters can go to TNA and help Rob Terry or something.

The Miz defeated Rey Mysterio

I want to point out that no other WWE Champion in recent months has done as much as champion as the Miz. Randy Orton, Sheamus, and even Triple H were NEVEr on smackdown in the same capacity that Miz has been in his short weeks as champion. Rey Mysterio also was booked as a weak champion, and this is further proof that some of the "higher" champions don't wrestle on the "B" show, but Miz will do anything, and that's a great testament for him.

The Miz showed in this match that he's not just a random champion, he put on a great deal of offense. He countered some of Mysterio's moves, he fought hard and Mysterio was not quick enough to put the miz over, and beat him. THe Miz actually put on a great show and I loved it. Mysterio went for his splash but Miz put up his knees and Mysterio lost this one. This was definitely a high contender for match of the week.

Post match, Edge ran down after Alberto Del Rio beat up Rey, and The Miz started fighting Edge, and this prompted a match to be made with the four of them wrestling in a tag match. Miz is doing double duty tonight, which is another testament to how hard working he is for a new champion.

Layla and Michelle McCool came out and protested their tables match on the ppv, which was funny to hear. They got real heat, but I'm sure they'll go straight through tables this weekend, or so I hope. Beth Phoenix and Natlya came out with a painted Table, and they set it up in the middle of the ring, which was actually really cool to see. THe table was pink and completely altered. Phoenix and Natalya nearly put Layla through the table, but McCool saved her. This weekend will definitely be interesting to see.

Santino & Kozlov defeated Tyler Reks & Chavo Guerrero

This week, Chavo Guerrero got a much better partner to face the tag team champions. Have I mentioned already that I love the new Santino shirt? If I had money, I'd buy it, but I'm broke still. This match started relatively slow with Tyler Reks facing Kozlov. Guerrero got a tag in and eventually the match picked up pace with the cruiserweight in the ring. Santino got the tag and showed that he knew more wrestling than just his comedy pieces, and that was nice to see, although he's far from being a credible champion. I'm surprised that Chavo can't get over, no matter what WWE does. He should go back to his "White" gimmick. Kozlov was impressive in this match, and that's probably because he was facing opponents that complimented his style. Santino hit the Cobra and the crowd went nuts, and the tag team champions roll through yet another tag team of random opponents. Hey, it wasn't a classic, but it will have to do, I liked it enough.

Edge & Rey Mysterio vs Alberto Del Rio & The Miz

Not a terrible match, it had a lot of action. The Miz and Edge could probably put together a great deal of momentum in a feud. Edge managed to get the best of Miz here, especially by countering the Skull Crushing Finale with the Impaler DDT. Mysterio hit the 619 on Miz, and Edge hit the spear, but Kane hit the ring, and this match was another none finish.

There's nothing worse in wrestling than a stupid non finish to what's supposed to be a good match. This match was decent and managed to have a good deal of action, fast pacing, and interesting match ups. Kane beat up Edge, but out ran the Smackdown locker room to stop it?! I don't know why they would care. Meanwhile on the outside, it looked like Husky Harris and Rey Mysterio were fighting. The locker room split the two men, to try and get some sort of "order" but once again, I don't understand the logic behind them trying to keep the two apart.

That was Smackdown. Not exactly a great night in wrestling, but the show seemed to fly by, and I liked it enough, despite the mediocre points.

WWE Friday Night Smackdown 12/10/10 Results and Review

WWE Friday Night Smackdown 12/10/10 Results

Jack Swagger defeated Kaval
Hornswoggle defeated The Soaring Eagle
Kofi Kingston defeated Dolph Ziggler via disqualification
Chris Masters won a masterlock challenge against Dashing Cody Rhodes.
Santino & Kozlov defeated Chavo Guerrero and Drew McIntyre
Natalya defeated Layla
Rey Mysterio defeated Alberto Del Rio

WWE Friday Night Smackdown 12/10/10 Review

Sometimes you just don't feel like talking about wrestling or doing anything. Right now, I feel like crap, I haven't had a job in 16 months now, and Congress hasn't pushed through unemployment insurance extensions, and ugh...I'm tired of Smackdown, tired of having no money. Oh well...here's the review:

Boring ass Kane came out and started cutting a promo. Edge came through on the titan tron and well...the stupid story line continued....I'm so tired.

Jack Swagger defeated Kaval

Kaval is legit injured, and Swagger completely killed Kaval. Kaval put up a good fight and there were a few good kicks, rolling moves, and even top rope options, but Swagger was way too much for the rookie. Kaval lost via submission and Swagger is looking more jacked then ever. I hope Swagger gets some better feuds, cause right now he's just Kurt Angle jr.

Hornswoggle defeated The Soaring Eagle

About as bad as you could imagine.

Kofi Kingston defeated Dolph Ziggler via disqualification

This match was a nice back and forth, ppv caliber match up. Ziggler was giving out punishment, but it looked like Kofi had his number, especially towards the end of this match. Kofi nearly won the match but out came Swagger to stop the three count, costing the match for Ziggler but more importantly, setting up a road block for Kingston as he tries to get the Intercontinental Championship. I liked the match up, but the ending blew it for me.

The edge and kane feud sucks.

Chris Masters won a masterlock challenge against Dashing Cody Rhodes.

Santino & Kozlov defeated Chavo Guerrero and Drew McIntyre

The Cobra strikes again, and Chavo is on the losing end. Drew has to be getting fired soon, he sucks. The match was your average comedic match with some nice action in between.

Post match, Drew McIntyre beat up Chavo, and that was that.

Natalya defeated Layla

Not much to see here, Natalya loses and that's that.

Rey Mysterio & Edge defeated Alberto Del Rio & Kane

This match was your average hot shot tag match. It had some excitement, it had some nice moments. It was basically Del Rio vs Rey Mysterio with the other two participants too busy with random backstage segments. I don't really care for this. Rey wins, and he'll probably lose at the ppv.

This week's Smackdown was terrible. That's all I can say. Oh and Paul Bearer might be dead, who cares.

WWE Friday Night Smackdown 11/26/10 Results and Review

WWE Friday Night Smackdown 11/26/10 Results

Kofi Kingston defeated Jack Swagger
Alberto Del Rio defeated The Big Show via countout
Drew McIntyre defeated MVP
Kelly Kelly defeated Michelle McCool
Dashing Cody Rhodes defeated Rey Mysterio

WWE Friday Night Smackdown 11/26/10 Review

The show started with the most boring man in professional wrestling, Kane. He cut a promo on Edge, and what not...I didn't care, you shouldn't care, the crowd wasn't really into it either. Edge came out and what not, and I didn't care...something about Kane getting on his knees...it was stupid. Kane vs Edge sucks, the beginning of this show was just terrible.

Kofi Kingston defeated Jack Swagger

Swagger and Kofi went into a back and forth battle for the King of the Ring qualification. This match was quite good, it had a lot of action, I thought there were some serious spots, and after Swagger hit his shoulder on the ring post, this thing was over. I didn't really care for the finish, but it was actually kind of good. Kofi moves onto the King of the Ring tournament.

Alberto Del Rio defeated The Big Show via countout

Del Rio couldn't get the big man down, and couldn't win the matchup by force, so he had his ring announcer get involved and that forced Big Show to lose via countout. That's right, a countout win for Del Rio and he moves on to. Not a great match, but it will have to do.

Drew McIntyre defeated MVP

This match was ok, MVP had a hurt arm or something and Drew wins. Drew sucks, but somehow, someway, this match was semi-interesting. I don't think Drew McIntyre will win this match, but we'll see. MVP continues to be hit or miss, and well, he's a far cry from his "MVP" gimmick that was good a few years back.

Kelly Kelly defeated Michelle McCool

This was a fluke roll up win, and nothing too special to mention. The match was ok enough, but Laycool got beat up by Beth Phoenix after the match. Phoenix had a knee brace, and she still managed to hit her finisher on Michelled McCool.

Dashing Cody Rhodes defeated Rey Mysterio

This match was ok enough, it wasn't exactly a thrilling match up. It had a few good moments, and Mysterio works really well with a much lighter Cody Rhodes, then he would with larger men. Mysterio hit his spots nicely, and showed no sign of injury at all. Del Rio helped Cody Rhodes at one point, and Mysterio dove into Del Rio on the outside. That woke up an otherwise tired crowd, and the match went on to be a wortwhile main event for Smackdown. A ref bump caused this match to really kick into high gear, in which Del Rio took advantage and helped Dashing Cody Rhodes defeat the higher flyer with Cross Rhodes.

Judging purely by wrestling and the matches they had on this show, it was a great one. I actually liked a lot of the wrestling, and the finish of the main event was really done well. Dashing Cody Rhodes, Del Rio, Kofi Kingston and Drew McIntyre will be in the King of the Ring tournament, creating quite an appealing 3 hour show. I'm excited to see how it will all turn out, and of course, The Miz's first night on Raw as the WWE champion should be good too. Wrestling is actually good for a change, too bad TNA can't take note, and too bad KANE sucks. I liked the show...now back to sleep I go.

Oh, I forgot to mention that Edge ran over a fake Paul Bearer with a car. That's how the show ended...worst feud ever.

WWE Survivor Series 2010 Results and Review

WWE Survivor Series 2010 Results

Daniel Bryan defeated Ted Dibiase Jr.
John Morrison defeated Sheamus
Dolph Ziggler defeated Kaval
Team Rey Mysterio defeated Team Del Rio
Natalya defeated Laycool
Edge & Kane were counted out
Nexus defeated Santino & Kozlov
Randy Orton defeated Wade Barrett w/ John Cena as ref

WWE Survivor Series 2010 Review

I've been looking forward to this night for quite sometime, just to see how the WWE would finish off the feud with Cena and Nexus.

The show opened up with the U.S. Title match, and the most interesting thing I saw at first was Maryse. Wow, Maryse is hot, and she keeps glowing, just like she was in her playboy photos...wow.

Daniel Bryan defeated Ted Dibiase Jr.

This match was a great back and forth opener. Daniel Bryan led Ted Dibiase to his best match yet, and it never looked bad. Every spot, every move had impact and Daniel Bryan was looking hurt. There were so many picture perfect moves, including a super backplex, a reversal of the Million Dollar Dream from the corner, countless reversals, and just so much more. I really enjoyed the match, and it was a shining opener for sure.

Post match, The Miz ran down with the Money in the Bank briefcase and knocked out Daniel Bryan. At first I thought he was going to cash in. The Miz cut a promo against the Nexus and Lebron James.

John Morrison defeated Sheamus

Sheamus and John Morrison put on an ok match, but it wasn't exactly a four star classic. The match had some good back and forth points, and after the "Bro" kick missed (yes i know it's not spelled that way, but I hate sheamus), Morrison caught Sheamus with a nice kick to the face off the springboard in the corner, and won this match up. Like I said, this wasn't a great match, but Morrison getting the win was welcomed nicely.

Dolph Ziggler defeated Kaval

Not exactly a great match up, but it had some nice back and forth action from both men. Kaval really pushed the limits of Dolph's flexibility from time to time, and it wasn't a strict burial at all. The match was ok, but not necessarily a good thing for Kaval, as he keeps losing, and his streak of losses continues. Dolph had what appeared to be a broken nose, as this match was physical. I liked it well enough, it kind of took the crowd out of it though.

Team Rey Mysterio defeated Team Del Rio

This match up was fun to watch. I love these classic Survivor Series matches and I remember fondly the original nights of Survivor Series in the late 80's and early 90's as being classics. So this match had all the great moments you'd expect with great interaction from all members. I loved it. Mysterio and Big Show walked away victorious, making this match up a good way to bring the crowd back from the Ziggler and Kaval match up.

Natalya defeated Laycool

This match was ok, not a great one. Laycool put up a good overall fight, not a classic by any stretch.

Post match Laycool beat up Natalya, but out came Beth Phoenix! Yep. That was the end of that.

Edge & Kane were counted out

This match ended with Edge and Kane's shoulders on the mat, so they both lose? I don't know...it was a crappy ending and the match wasn't even that good. Kane retains, but what a terrible match and ending.

Nexus defeated Santino & Kozlov

This had your standard comedic elements and overall minutia of wrestling. There wasn't much to it, and it was nice to see Kozlov and Santino nearly get the win, but it when it was all said and done, Nexus wins and retains their title.

Randy Orton defeated Wade Barrett w/ John Cena as ref

One of the most boring matches took place here. All the build up and little to no real controversy for the most part. The crowd was even dead for this match up, and it just was a terrible build. This was NOT an exciting match up, it was dead for a good amount of it, and despite the back and forth nature of the match, it was just lackluster somehow. The action spilled to the outside, and then quickly went back into the ring, and out of nowhere the RKO after Cena accidentally bumped into Wade Barrett.

NO CENA TURN! Wade loses. This match sucks. What a terrible terrbile match, what a terrible turn of events. I think Cena is fired...oh well. Man, what a terrible terrible way to finish up months and months of build. This was stupid. Seriously wwe? seriously?

If you saw it, you hated it too.

WWE Smackdown 10/29/10 Results and Review

WWE Smackdown 10/29/10 Results

Daniel Bryan defeated Dolph Ziggler
Jack Swaggger defeated Kaval
The Divas had an eight man tag match
Big Show & Kofi Kingston defeated Drew McIntyre and Dashing Cody Rhodes
Edge defeated Rey Mysterio and Alberto Del Rio

WWE Smackdown 10/29/10 Review

I'm dead tired today. Just way too tired lately.

The show started with a recap of Taker getting Buried alive. I hate the Kane vs Undertaker feud right now...just sooo sick of it. I don't give 2 craps about it! There's no reason to! What a boring ass feud.

Kane cut a lame promo about Undertaker, no one cared, I didn't that's for sure.

Alberto Del Rio came out in the middle of Kane's random stupid speech. Could Del Rio be the next World Heavyweight Champion? I'd pay to see it happen. Del Rio beat up Kane, but Mysterio came out and tried to attack him. Edge then came out as well....Mysterio hit the 619 on Paul Bearer, which was cool.

Vickie Guerrero came out in a full leopard suit! I kid you not. Vickie has lost some serious weight...wow....that's all I will say about that.

Daniel Bryan defeated Dolph Ziggler

This is the third helping to this series of matches and once again it delivered. Another classic victory for Bryan, terrible theme music, and overall a good match. Ziggler looked great in defeat, and Bryan once again proves that he's quite good. Lots of great spots here, lots of great reversals, the Zig Zag and the Sleeper Hold, but that didn't get the win. Vickie in the Leopard suit is actually not half bad...I must be seriously tired.

Jack Swaggger defeated Kaval

Kaval once again, just got beat. Kaval did get a good amount of offense, so it wasn't a complete squash, but Swagger wins yet again. Swagger made Kaval tap out, and he's just a glorified jobber to say the least. He's on an epic losing streak, much like Mikey Whipwreck, hopefully it pays off in the end.

The Divas had a costume contest...it was boring...I didn't want to see it.

The Divas had an eight man tag match...not sure who won.

The match had all the divas in costume trying to wrestle. It was terrible...I couldn't tell who was who, and someone won...or no one won...I don't know what was going on.

Big Show & Kofi Kingston defeated Drew McIntyre and Dashing Cody Rhodes

This match wasn't a classic, and it only served to break up the former tag champions. Big Show won in impressive fashion yet again. Big Show and Kofi as a tag team? Why not? The match was watchable, but only because I knew Show would get the win with relative ease.

Edge defeated Rey Mysterio and Alberto Del Rio

Edge became the #1 contender here, which was cool. The final spot was great. Del Rio had Mysterio up on his shoulders and Edge speared Del Rio, giving Mysterio an Electric Chair at the same time! Edge wins, he'll probably get the belt, Kane will retire, and I'll go back to sleep.

Smackdown was ok at best, not really as captivating as Raw, but then again it is the "B" show.

WWE Bragging Rights 2010 Results and Review

WWE Bragging Rights 2010 Results

Daniel Bryan defeated Dolph Ziggler via submission
David Otunga & John Cena defeated Dashing Cody Rhodes & Drew McIntyre for the Tag Team Championships
Ted Dibiase Jr defeated Goldust
Layla defeated Natalya
Kane defeated The Undertaker in a Buried Alive Match
Team Smackdown defeated Team Raw in the Bragging Rights match
Wade Barrett defeated Randy Orton via disqualification

WWE Bragging Rights 2010 Review

The latest ppv from the WWE had some decent build up, so here we go, let's see how it went down.

Daniel Bryan defeated Dolph Ziggler via submission

Daniel Bryan needs new theme music.

This match started out slow, with each wrestler trying to outdo the other in submission style, mat wrestling, and it seemed that Daniel Bryan had all the right counters. Meanwhile, Ziggler kept leaving himself open and that's when Bryan ran full force towards him with full shots to the head with knees and kicks. Bryan got some chants early on, but eventually the crowd died down. Ziggler had some good control in this match up, but Bryan was the one that was impressive overall. The crowd was completely behind Daniel Bryan, which was awesome to see. Ziggler hit some nice slams, and reverse impact moves, and even countered Bryan at times, showcasing that he has some strong wrestling talent alongside his finisher. Daniel Bryan eventually would get a second wind, and make Ziggler pay, which prompted uproars from the crowd, once again impressing the naysayers, including Michael Cole. Bryan's missile dropkick from the apron was insane! I can't believe how far Bryan can leap off the ropes, and it's just a testament to the guy that he held his own against a much larger Dolph Ziggler. Towards the end of the match, Daniel Bryan tried to do a super backplex off the top rope, but Ziggler countered into a pinfall only to get reversed into a pin attempt by Bryan which prompted uproars and everyone was calling this match of the year for sure. After the nearfalls, the two hit a sickening thud of a double crossbody attempt which really got the crowd going and made this match more than just another opening contest. Ziggler hit a leg drop of sorts but the count was broken up (after 3) because of Daniel Bryan's foot on the ropes! Dnaiel Bryan locked in his Labbel Lock submission and made Dolph Ziggler tap out! A quality opener, a high candidate for match of the night, and the show just opened! It was a very solid, very good entertaining match, something that I've noted about Ziggler in past matches. Ziggler vs Mysterio 1 especially. Bryan wins, and post match, Vickie and Dolph get thrown out of the building!

In the backstage area The Miz praised Daniel Bryan, for once...wow.

The tag team champions were in the ring talking about how everyone was scared of them, and that there was no tag championship match, but in the middle of their speeches, an email from the Anonymous General Manager came through.

He set up a match with Nexus vs The Tag Team Champions!

David Otunga & John Cena defeated Dashing Cody Rhodes & Drew McIntyre for the Tag Team Championships

This was an intriguing tag team match up, with John Cena and Otunga once again teaming to try and get on the winning side. Cena came out running and fired up the crowd, and despite being forced into this match, it seemed like he had a major chance of getting things going for his team. Otunga started the match, and after getting mauled by the champs, he tagged in John Cena. Cena was not too over powering, wrestling a straight up style and not his typical brawling. It was nice to see John Cena doing MORE than his 5 moves. Specifically pointing out that he did a very nice Snap-Release Fisherman's Suplex and a nice Delayed Suplex. Otunga kept trying to get Cena to tag, but Cena refused, and that changed the momentum of the match up. Cena eventually did his super hero gimmick, without tagging in Otunga and won the tag team champions by making Cody Rhodes tap out!

Post match Otunga was celebrating as if he won the titles himself! John Cena was not thrilled with the over zealousness of Otunga and for his troubles, he gave Otunga a major Attitude Adjustment, then took the titles and left with both belts!

The match was good, but you have to wonder why the WWE Champions could easily be put away by 1 man? Seriously, John Cena single handedly defeated the tag team champions! That was odd, but I'll give it to wwe for continuing the story line quite well.

Ted Dibiase Jr defeated Goldust

Goldust on ppv? I marked out huge! I can't believe that Goldust is on ppv in 2010! Goldust started this match fast, but Ted Dibiase was able to change the complexion of the match slowly, and eventually Goldust was back in jobber mode while Ted unloaded on him. The crowd was going for Goldust in this one, and eventually made this match a nice one. On the outside, Maryse beat up Aksana! Aksana then got thrown into the ring, and that prompted Goldust to get distracted and let Ted get the upper hand in this match up. He eventually won with a ddt, which was a bit odd, but I guess that's that.

Post match, Aksana attacked Maryse, and took the Million Dollar belt! She then essentially seduced Ted Dibiase long enough to get Goldust to hit the FINAL CUT on Ted. Goldust leaves with the Million Dollar Belt and that's that. Not a terrible match, but not a four star classic either. I thought it was quite entertaining, and am surprised that so far, I haven't hated the ppv.

Layla defeated Natalya

Laycool together once again kept their title, with Layla taking most of the heavy lifting. Natalya got a few shots in, but it was Michelle McCool on the outside that made the match interesting. I liked it enough, but it was a short match and really didn't pay off for the "feud" that they've been doing.

Kane defeated The Undertaker in a Buried Alive Match

I'm a big fan of the original Buried Alive match and the one where Austin, other than that? I'm not a big fan of this match. The Undertaker had a lot of this match sewn up, but Kane wasn't a push over. Kane managed to wrestle his way to a watchable match, and Undertaker wasn't his "vintage" self. Just one day after punking out Brock Lesnar at UFC, Undertaker had this thing sewn up after a lot of in ring brawling. Undertaker eventually locked in his Hell's Gate lock and rolled Kane into the ditch. He then got Paul Bearer and was going to throw him into the grave too. BUt before he could, out ran the Nexus! Nexus ran out for no apparent reason, making this match awesome! I loved how Taker was getting beat down by Nexus, and that let Kane get out of the grave! Kane hit Undertaker with the Urn, and then threw him into the grave. The Nexus then buried the Undertaker, literally! The feud sucks. The match was barely watchable, but I guess that's ok. I can't believe Kane is still World Heavyweight Champion, and I can't believe Undertaker loses again...after punking out Brock Lesnar. Yep, that's the end of Taker...for now. I guess he'll want a piece of Nexus now too, right?

Post match, the lights went out and lightning struck, and that was that. Nothing else happened. Undertaker is dead? I don't know, I'm tired.

Team Smackdown defeated Team Raw in the Bragging Rights match

This match was ok to say the least. It was your standard elimination match that should've been reserved for Survivor Series, but I liked it enough. It was way better than the Buried Alive match that preceded it. Santino went for the Cobra but was thwarted by none other than Tyler Rex.

Tyler Rex eliminated Santino.

Big Show and Ezekiel Jackson were up next after a quick tag. Mysterio got into the match and was hitting on all cylinders, prompting a tag to Kofi, but Ezekiel started to over power the smaller guys, which looked good, and the match started to once again roll through. Lots of quick tags, lots of non-stop offense, no real rest holds, and that's why this match was way better than the Buried Alive match. Sheamus hit the High Cross and eliminated Kofi.

Sheamus eliminated Kofi Kingston.

The match continued and it was Rey Mysterio trying to outdo Sheamus, but after some quick tags, this match moved into Raw's favor which was nice. The crowd was going nuts for CM Punk, and started a massive chant at this point. THis part of the match just continued to move back and forth, with Mysterio taking a lot of punishment, before getting blind tagged by Alberto Del Rio! Del Rio and Mysterio had some tense moments in this match, despite being on the same team, including a spot where Del Rio threw Mysterio into the gaurd rail before attacking Cm Punk. Rey Mysterio played up an injury and was essentially out of the match for the time being. Del Rio hit a nice bridge Suplex pin attempt, as Mysterio was looking legit hurt. Eventually Swagger came in, and the All American American American American was doing the Smackdown bidding. Punk was then the focus of the Smackdown attack. Starship Pain eventually landed the Raw team another elimination, and Swagger got tossed.

John Morrison eliminated Jack Swagger.

Tyler Rex somehow maintained a spot on the Smackdown team up to this point, which was odd, cause he's just new. He did quite well against Sheamus and others in this match, so it's interesting to see how they'll use him in the near future. A Bro-kick knocked out Rex, and Raw was still on top at this point.

Sheamus eliminated Tyler Rex.

Big Show came in, like a house on fire and started mopping up against Sheamus. Hornswoggled got shoved hard, and that prompted Show to beat down Sheamus on the outside, which eliminated two people at once.

Big Show and Sheamus were eliminated via double countout.

Only Edge and Alberto Del Rio were left in the ring against most of the Raw team.

Edge started against R Truth, and quickly got behind with Truth hitting lots of moves and yelling "what's Up" randomly. A spear out of the corner eliminated R Truth.

Edge eliminated R Truth.

John Morrison got into the ring and quickly knocked out edge, but not enough to get Starship Pain to land, which prompted another Spear out of the corner, giving Edge the "edge".

Edge eliminated John Morrison.

Punk came into the ring and was immediately hit with the Impaler DDT. Punk missed a spear and Del Rio got into the ring with a blind tag. I wasn't sure where this match was going, but one thing was for sure, Del Rio is the ultimate heel. Punk reversed the Del Rio finisher into a Back Slide, and this match was over! Del Rio was now eliminated, but it seemed like that was the plan for Del Rio all along!

Cm Punk eliminated Alberto Del Rio.

Rey Mysterio ran down and beat up Deli Rio, and rejoined the match. Edge and Mysterio vs three Raw members, and the crowd as was I, were captivated. The Miz finally got into the match, and he was hitting hard and fast, trying to get the better of Edge and Mysterio and win the match for his team. The match was definitely awesome, as was Miz. Mysterio got back into the match but was equalized by CM PUnk, who was still in this match folks!

Rey Mysterio eliminated Cm Punk

Zeke got into the match and immediately started working on Rey Mysterio. He was stomping out Mysterio with relative ease. Mysterio hit Ezekiel with the 619, but an odd exchange between Mysterio and Zeke looked like Mysterio only got a 2 count, but nope, he eliminated Zeke.

Rey Mysterio eliminated Ezekiel Jackson.

That left Edge & Mysterio with Miz solo on Raw. Miz got a lot of help from his right hand man A-Rod. Mysterio got a huge tag, and that prompted Edge to hit a spear on MIZ and pinned THE MIZ!

Edge eliminated The MIz to win the Bragging RIghts match and trophy! A quality bragging rights match with lots of nearfalls, lots of great action, and just an overall pleasure to watch. Despite the botches, despite the weird finishes, I liked it. Edge and Mysterio wins!

The main event officially started at around 2 hours and 25 minutes into the ppv, so that gives you an idea about how much time the final match up was given. I wasn't sure who'd win, but I had a hunch....

Wade Barrett defeated Randy Orton via disqualification

John Cena refused to get involved with the match, despite Wade Barrett asking him too. Orton was in control for the majority of this match up. Wade got in a few shots, but it looked to me as though Orton was in full control of this, including some very stupid looking rest holds. Orton just seemed like he was winning. That's not to say that Barrett wasn't in control at points in the match, it just seemed like Orton was getting the better of the exchanges. The ref got knocked out, which meant that it was time for Barrett to get some help. Cena was then asked to get on the apron and Wade Barrett got thrown into him, causing Cena to go into the guard rail. Nexus ran down and beat up Orton! The ref was still out cold! Nexus was pummeling Orton! This looked like Wade Barrett would get the title! Despite Orton getting beat down by all of Nexus, he still managed to get back into the match, hit his DDT and start setting up his RKO, but Cena managed to get into the ringand attack Barrett!!

Post match, Cena was going to give Orton the title, but Orton hit CENA with an RKO! Barrett wins, but Orton retains! Yep.

Raw will be interested. The ppv was good, with the exception of the Buried Alive match. Wow...this was weird.

WWE Friday Night Smackdown 10/22/10 Review

The show started with both Bragging Rights team and Teddy said that the superstars will make the matches tonight. The Miz got on the mic and cut a promo, and that was that...setting up matches...you'll read/see what they were.

Big Show, Kofi Kingston, and Rey Mysterio defeated Ezekiel Jackson, Sheamus, and The Miz

The night sounded interesting, and the match opened up with a good clash of styles. Sheamus and Mysterio started this match and it was quite good, and I was impressed for once with Sheamus. Sheamus actually worked really well in the ring. My gripe was that each team kept their "shirts" on, and NO I don't mean that in a gay way, it's just odd to see such "pride" for brands. Standard six man tag fare, but man, it was entertaining and worked out quite well with all the styles mixing it up. Rey Mysterio eventually got the pin, and it was quite good. It's odd to see Team Smackdown getting so much prowess here, and it's understandable, they're stacked.

Jack Swagger defeated Santino

Santino faced Swagger, and I loved the Eagle! I also like Swagger's "All American, American, American, American" gimmick and wish Kurt Angle would come back to challenge him. Santino hit the Cobra on The Eagle and Hornswoggle hit the tadpole splash on the Eagle! In ring, Santino actually had some quality back and forth action with Swagger. Swagger actually couldn't contend with the offense! but before the Cobra could get hit, the Ankle Lock was put on and Santino tapped out.

HAHAHAH The Dashing Cody Rhodes segments just keep getting more and more insane, and I love it. They remind me of Rick "The Model" Martel's commercials for "Arrogance", oh man, great stuff.

Alberto Del Rio defeated John Morrison

This match wasn't all that great, I felt that there was a bit of hesitation from both wrestlers. Del Rio is adjusting well to the new WWE style, and it's interesting to see him adapt, and NOT utilize lucha moves. Now, his win was impressive, he not only countered Starship Pain he hit the Twisting Armbar, and it was awesome. The guy is quite the heel man, wow, despite a slow burning match, the ending was quite good. I loved it. Wow...wrestling is actually good.

CM Punk defeated Edge via Disqualification

This match was oka t best. It wasn't all that great at all, it was slow moving and lacked impact, until the end broke down. Edge was ready to hit the Spear but that prompted The Miz and Alex Riley to run down and clear the ring. That prompted each member of each team to get to the ring and mop up! It was awesome! Each member attacked each other one by one and it looked like Swagger was standing tall but after a Bro-Kick it seemed like Raw had the upper hand again! The Big Show got the last laugh, getting the best of Zeke....or so I thought. The Bro-Kick once again hits but only to get thwarted by the 619!!!! Oh wait...the GTS...oh wait, the SPEAR!!! I'm telling you, the post match was far better than the match, and the crowd was going nuts, I was going nuts, it was a well timed pice of wrestling...wow!

Laycool came out and dressed up as Natalya and Bret Hart!!! It was comedy gold! I loved it!!!!

Natalya & Kelly Kelly (i think) defeated Laycool

This match was ok. It was funny to see Michelle McCool dressed as Hart wrestling, but other than that, this match was an unfortunate mess.

Randy Orton defeated Kane

This match was slow moving, and proved to me yet again that Kane sucks and shoudl retire. Orton took some punishment, but it was nearly telegraphed that he would win, which isn't necessarily a good thing. Orton looked to be defeated but the lights went out and Orton hit the RKO to get the win.

Post match, The Undertaker came from under the ring and pulled Kane under...lame....I hate this stupid crap! I hate it. Oh well.

Despite a few missteps, I liked this show a lot, in fact, it was better than Raw, and right on par with how much I enjoyed the main event of TNA Impact this week. I still don't care about Kane and Undertaker, but whatever. Smackdown wasn't half bad, and once again, I will say that there is no need for a brand split, there just is no need.

WWE Friday Night Smackdown 10/15/10 Results

Rey Mysterio defeated Cody Rhodes
Jack Swagger defeated MVP
Alberto Del Rio defeated Chris Masters
Edge defeated Dolph Ziggler
Kaval lasted 5 Minutes with the Big Show
Tyler Rex defeated Kaval
Kofi Kingston defeated Drew McIntyre

WWE Friday Night Smackdown 10/15/10 Review

I hate the Smackdown music. It sucks.

Undertaker was on top of the building, looking like a chump.

WE then moved to Teddy Long talking about Bragging Rights and setting up a team for Team Smackdown.

Rey Mysterio defeated Cody Rhodes

This is going to shock some, but Rey Mysterio and Dashing Cody Rhodes put on one hell of a match. Yes, I kid you not, these guys put on more than a pasable match. Coody Rhodes had counters, psychology, and lots of great points of the match, meanwhile Rey Mysterio wasn't just getting dominated with ease, he was being out smarted at a lot of points by a smart Rhodes. Despite Mysterio getting the win in the most obvious of fashions, Cody Rhodes did manage to put up one heck of a fight, which was nice to see from the youngster.

Jack Swagger defeated MVP

MVP still manages to get a crowd reaction, despite not getting a massive push like he did before. Swagger's mascot got thrown into the announce team, which was a great point of interest. Swagger and MVP worked a passable match with Swagger picking up the win and getting a spot on Team Smackdown. I didn't hate it, you probably didn't either. The addition of that eagle is awesome, in my view.

Alberto Del Rio defeated Chris Masters

This match was a glorified squash match. Del Rio beat a much larger and motivated Chris Masters. This match was not a technical masterpiece, and like I said, it was a glorified squash match.

Edge defeated Dolph Ziggler

The up and coming star Ziggler, was definitely on point in this match up. My only complaints came with Edge taking some insane bumps for no apparent reason and then not even selling the injuries. He got a Zig Zag to the steel steps! That should've knocked him out or at least knocked him silly, instead Edge made a sickening comeback. The crowd was NOT into it, and you could hear the "canned" post-production pops during this match up, which was just sad, because there were some nice spots. Edge managed to get a spear off of a diving Ziggler which looked interesting, and was worth the slow paced match up. Edge won, and I didn't mind seeing the Intercontinental Champion buried.

Kaval lasted 5 Minutes with the Big Show

Kaval joined Team Smackdown by taking the Big Show's best shots. Show let Kaval win, is what Michael Cole said, and that's fine...Kaval gets a minor push, I don't mind. I like Kaval, I hope he does well.

Tyler Rex came down to the ring and cut a promo on Kaval. I admit, I've seen Tyler Rex at live shows, and he can go, so it's interesting to see the WWE use him in a wrestling capacity.

Tyler Rex defeated Kaval

Tyler Rex came down and squashed Kaval, and that was the end of Kaval's run in the main event. I don't know what they are doing with Kaval, but he's on an epic lose streak just like Mikey Whipreck was for a long time.

Kofi Kingston defeated Drew McIntyre

I don't see what the WWE sees in Drew McIntyre, he completely sucks. I do NOT like the guy at all. Kofi won yet again, and that's that. He's on the Smackdown team and McIntyre can hopefully get fired.

Kane came down cut a lame promo, and out came Undertaker. They brawled, and that's that. I HATE this feud, and there's NO reason why KANe should have the title, absolutely no reason for it. It's stupid.

Lightning and fire happened, I booed the crap out of this...I hated it. Ugh...what a terrible way to end an otherwise good smackdown.

No Bragging Rights, there will be....a BURIED ALIVE match. Not bad.

WWE Smackdown 10/8/10 Results

Edge defeated Jack Swagger
Layla defeated Kelly Kelly
Drew McIntyre & Dashing Cody Rhodes defeated Kofi Kingston & Kaval
Rey Mysterio defeated Alberto Del Rio
Dolph Ziggler defeated MVP

WWE Smackdown 10/8/10 Review

Smackdown has the worst intro music...but I was looking forward to seeing Alberto Del Rio vs Rey Mysterio so I can't complain too much about the lackluster sell out move of Greenday.

Edge defeated Jack Swagger

I always pop for Edge's music, but the guy hasn't been relevant for a long time. Jack Swagger's Eagle is funny. Edge had some cool moments here, and I didn't hate it, but I felt like I already saw this. The Eagle took a Spear, Swagger went for the Ankle Lock but Edge eventually hit his Spear and won. This match wasn't all that great, but hey...at least Edge is being used.

Layla defeated Kelly Kelly

This match was terrible. Did you expect anything else? The divas are lookers, but they aren't great wrestlers. There were a few quality moments in this match, but overall? This match was just filler, and I didn't find it all that great.

The Big Show was talking about setting up Team Smackdown for Bragging Rights, and that prompted The Dudebusters to come out and ask to be on team Smackdown.

Big Show double chokeslammed The Dudebusters and that was that. Team Smackdown is going to bore me, and so is Bragging Rights, I can feel it.

Drew McIntyre & Dashing Cody Rhodes defeated Kofi Kingston & Kaval

Once again, Kaval loses. This match wasn't all that great, and it's another reason why I hate hot shot tag team pairings. The match was ok enough, but I didn't really care about any one of the participants, which is not the way you want to present things, but I guess that's just what happens. The hot shot team wins...and that's that.

Kane delivered a message to Undertaker...and I HATE the feud. I hope they both retire.

Dolph Ziggler defeated MVP

This match wasn't that great, and while I appreciate the efforts of one Dolph Ziggler, I can't stand MVP right now. Ziggler wins this match thanks to the actions of an NXT participant, much to the dismay of Vickie. MVP did have some nice suplexes, throws, and offense. I think MVP is highly talented, just not utilized properly.

My 2 cents? I think MVP should be paired with Shad & JTG and they should do a "Konnan" like thing. Just a thought.

Rey Mysterio defeated Alberto Del Rio

This match wasn't exactly a four star classic. It was your standard Rey Match. Del Rio had a bunch of great moments, but overall it was Mysterio that got the most offense in, and won the match despite attempts by Del Rio to cheat. Mysterio hit his moves and won this match.

I don't understand the logic in having Del Rio losing here, but then again, I don't understand a lot of the logic in the WWE or TNA for that matter. Mysterio comes back, wins, sends the crowd home happy and that was that. This feud should be done, since Mysterio won.

WWE Friday Night Smackdown 8/27/10 Results

Kane defeated Rey Mysterio
Kofi Kingston defeated Dolph Ziggler via countout
Jack Swagger defeated MVP via disqualification
CM Punk defeated JTG
ALberto Del Rio defeated Jobber #993
The Big Show defeated Luke gallows

WWE Friday Night Smackdown 8/27/10 Review

Kane defeated Rey Mysterio

This match sucked. I'm sick of seeing Rey Mysterio buried, I'm sick of seeing sucky ass Kane winning, and I'm sick of the Undertaker feud. This match was ok at best, but it was just another rehashing of matches that they previously had. This sucks.

Alberto Del Rio beat up Rey Mysterio after the match. I like him, he's a great heel at this point, someone you'd pay to see get beaten up.

CM Punk defeated JTG

This was an overtly easy match for Punk. Punk beat JTG without even trying very hard. Punk hit the Anaconda Vice on JTG and made him tap. I didn't hate this match, but I knew it was a squash.

Oh and by the way, Sarena is fired from WWE, I'll miss her big boobs on my screen every friday.

Kofi Kingston defeated Dolph Ziggler via countout

This was stupid. Yes, there were some great spots in this match, and yes these guys work well together, but I've already seen this match several times before. I didn't reallys ee the point of seeing it again, especially since I no longer care. This match eventually broke down with some impact and Dolph Ziggler lost via count out. NOt an epic, but I guess it worked for what it was. I am sick of this feud.

Jack Swagger defeated MVP via disqualification

This match was going relatively well, good back and forth action, with some nice moments, but then it went to hell. MVP apparently hit Swagger with a punch that caused him to lose the match. This was supposed to be a real "wrestling" match, but instead it was just stupid. WWE is just phoning it in at this point, it's painfully obvious.

ALberto Del Rio defeated Jobber #993

I hate jobber matches. This is what it was. It was a jobber match. I think he has a lot of talent, but until he's in a good feud, this is just stupid.

The Big Show defeated Luke gallows

This was a throwaway match. Luke Gallows went down fast with a punch to the face. I hated it. Big Show is tough, but does anyone care about this crap? I don't.

The end of the show was Kane and Undertaker talking back and forth and you know what? I don't give a flying you know what...who cares? These guys have already wrestled a million times, and they both suck now, so let's stop rehashing old storylines!

Smackdown completely sucked this week, and dare I say was WORST than TNA IMPACT. There I said it. WWE is phoning it in badly.

WWE Friday Night Smackdown 8/20/10 Results

Kofi Kingston defeated Dolph Ziggler via dq
Sarena & Luke Gallows defeated Big Show & Kelly Kelly
Christian defeated Drew McIntyre
Alberto Del Rio defeated Rey Mysterio

WWE Friday Night Smackdown 8/20/10 Review

Rey Mysterio came out to the ring and talked about random crap. I was bored. I'm sick of Rey Mysterio...dude needs to retire.

Amidst talking, out came Alberto Del Rio, finally! He made his debut at Mysterio's expense. Alberto Del Rio is a combination of Razor Ramon, and The Model Ric Martel.

Mysterio hit first and attacked, hitting Alberto Del Rio with the 619!

Kofi Kingston defeated Dolph Ziggler via dq

This match wasn't too bad, I liked it for what it was, a repeat of their last 3 matches. I felt like I've seen this match several times before, and this time around, when Vickie Guerrero interfered, Dolph was disqualified. This was really a waste of time, all things considered.

Post match, Kofi was screaming in terror when in front of Kofi! So Kofi did what any idiot would do....nothing. Ziggler attacked him afterwards and just beat him up.

Here's a question? Why would Ziggler attack? He won the match, and Kofi shouldn't have anymore title shots, so he should move on right? Right.

Hornswoggle returned, in the backstage area, dressed as a plant.

Sarena & Luke Gallows defeated Big Show & Kelly Kelly

This wasn't that great, but we finally saw Sarena in ring. She's not half bad, and the match wasn't a complete waste, but it was obvious that Show would go down. BIg Show was busy outside, while Sareta hit a gutbuster on Kelly, and it looked bad. I guess this is a first, a first in a while...I didn't hate the divas here.

Kane did a promo...but I didn't care about it. I'm sick of Undertaker vs Kane...I've seen it soo many times...I'm tired of it, and I hate Kane and dare I say...I hate Taker these days too.

Christian defeated Drew McIntyre

Again? THIS MATCH? I feel like Smackdown is just a cookie cutter, boring ass show. I'm sick of seeing this match, I'm sick of McIntyre, I'm sick of Christian going into the post with his shoulder. I'm sick of roll up wins without his finisher...ugh...this match was so boring. I've seen this before 100 times!

Post match Drew and Cody Rhodes beat up Christian. Who cares?

I don't.

Alberto Del Rio defeated Rey Mysterio

I liked this match. Only because Del Rio didn't suck completely. I've seen a lot of debut matches in my day, and most of them aren't good at all, but not this one. Del Rio was quite methodical and he had counters against Mysterio's offense at several stages. I liked it. Del Rio's finisher is a rolling Arm Breaker submission and it was definitely flashy. Del Rio's Debut ranks high in my book as one of the better debut's in professional wrestlign in recent memory.

Del Rio needs a good steady feud to catapult him to a higher level. He needs the IC Title too....but that's not going to happen, now is it?

Overall, the ending of Smackdown made the night. I liked it. I think Del Rio is one of the best heels, if they can continue to use him properly. This is WWE, so it might go wrong at several stages, that's for sure.

Eric Bischoff Lies

On Thursday Night Eric Bischoff said he hadn't seen anything worst than the EV2 beat down...oh really?

Here's some examples that you guys can take to the bank!

NWO vs. Four Horseman War Games 1997

1 Year after Sting left WCW or rather decided to be "The Crow" and still get paid. The Four Horseman reunited to fight off the invasion of the NWO and they gave the Enforcer spot to Curt Hennig (although I remember him as Henning, but whatever). Well, he turned on the Horseman and this nasty shot was cleverly produced...and well...I know wrestling is "fake" but then again? This is worst than the EV2 beat down, take a look:

Goldberg vs. Scott Hall Ladder Match (part 3)

Ok, so maybe this isn't that bad, but come on...Hall gets electrified...literally...or figuratively...I dunno.

Rey Mysterio, Eddie Guerrero & Billy Kidman vs. The Insane Clown Posse & Vampiro

Once again, Bischoff saw this...all I need to say is "INSANE CLOWN POSSE"!

Then there's this:

The Outsiders come in and it looks bad, looks like Eric himself takes a stiff shot to the gut, "YOU DON'T JACK US AROUND!"

These things are interesting, and I'm sure you guys can think of other things Bischoff has seen that are worst than that beat down. I know, the examples above are just not big...but the first one was. I was tired...give me a break.

I recall Vampiro being set on fire.
Hak vs Raven vs Bam Bam Bigelo
Hak vs Bigelow
Villano IV's neck being broken
Raven vs DDP on mtv live

So many other instances worst...but I guess no one remembers.

WWE Summerslam 2010 Results and Review

WWE SUmmerslam 2010 Results

Dolph Ziggler vs Kofi Kingston (no contest)
Melina defeated Alicia Fox
Big Show defeated The Straightedge Society
Randy Orton defeated Sheamus via dq
Kane defeated Rey Mysterio
Team Cena defeated Team Nexus

WWE Summerslam 2010 Review

I was expecting great things for this one. I didn't see it live, but I saw it after the fact. I'm a little late on the review because of circumstances out of my control, but here we go, how it all went down and what I think of one of the big 4 this year. SUMMERSLAM 2010!WOOOOOT!

First and foremost, the intro was the best intro I've Seen for WWE in a very long time. Not since the "In A perfect World" promo. This was amazing, the introduction promo was just amazing, simply the greatest edited promo in a seriously long time. I loved it, I absolutely loved the introduction to the ppv. I can't believe how good WWE can be sometimes. TNA doesn't even match, ever, this is amazing. Oh man, what an incredible introduction.

"What if they succceed?"

That was the greatest line.

Dolph Ziggler vs Kofi Kingston (no contest)

The opening match was the Intercontinental championship match and Ziggler was not intimidated by Kingston. Kingston was hitting fast and furious, but Ziggler was able to counter at all moments. There were some nice nearfalls, and for the most part Vickie Guerrero was a non factor. I enjoyed this one, and I thought Ziggler finally made it to the big show. I'm a fan, I've been a fan for a while. Ziggler was about to win this match but out came the Nexus 7!

The Nexus hit the ring and booted Ziggler. They then surrounded Kofi Kingston and beat him down! This was NOT forecasted, and it was awesome. He got the biggest beat down. I loved it. I wanted to just yell FU KOFI! YES! NEXUS WAS BEATING THE HELL OUT OF KOFI! YES YES YES!

Nobody came to Kofi's aid, which was interesting to see. Kofi should turn heel since no one helped him.

Melina defeated Alicia Fox

Melina sucks. I hate her. I hate Alicia Fox and the divas. This match was terrible. Melina's outfit was terrible. This match was a boredom movement I'll never get back. Melina wins...whatever.

Laycool came in and beat her up. Yep. It's sad to say that the most exciting thing in the divas division is laycool beating down Melina...sad.

Big Show defeated The Straightedge Society

THis match was ok at best. Big Show got the obvious win as CM Punk ditched his pals and let Show win with a chokeslam. I like Big Show enough, and this match had some quality moments. Big Show apparently didn't have an injured hand afterall. I liked it, Punk and Show will have to fight one on one someday and the SES is looking to end in the near future, that's for sure. Not a bad match, and not a great one either. I love looking at Serina....sigh....she's so cute.

Sheamus wanted to borrow the casket that was backstage from Kane to throw Randy Orton into. Kane said No.

The Miz came out and cut a nice promo. He basically told everyone that he was the only Hope for defeating Nexus. He said he was the future.

MIZ said he would join Team Cena tonight!

Randy Orton defeated Sheamus via dq

This match was very back and forth. Orton didn't have the upper hand too long and neither did Sheamus. Sheamus looked frustrated at one point and after a lot of exchanges of power moves and rest holds, Sheamus went out and got a chair! He got himself disqualified as the ref fell out of the ring. Orton looked hurt, like he messed up his shoulder again, and as the match was over, Orton hit Sheamus with a big low blow and this thing opened up big time. The match had some standard moves for both men, and nothing too crazy, but the post match well....that was Orton's moment to shine.

Post match, Orton grabbed Sheamus and tossed him out of the ring, and he went to the announcers table! He took out the monitors and he lost it, which was a nice bit of work. He threw Sheamus on to the table then climbed up and hit an RKO on the table! RKO on Sheamus on the TABLE! The table didn't break, but he left Sheamus basically dead. Not a great match, not a boring match, but no championship change for Orton, and Sheamus walks away champion yet again.

Kane defeated Rey Mysterio

Mysterio was hitting a lot of shots on Kane. Kane wasn't dominant in this match, at least not for the whole part. Rey hit so much offense, that it almost seemed like he wouldn't win, based on how dominant the little guy was for a change. They never book him strong as the champion, but as a challenger? He hits moves that you just don't see often fromt he guy. He spent a lot of moments hitting kane with kicks, leaps off the ropes, and while Kane did fight back, it was a majorly one sided affair, at least for a good portion of this match up. There was a casket at ringside, and Kane was trying to throw him in at several times. Kane blocked the 619 and was thrown into the Casket at one point and this thing turned around but it was Kane that was able to keep pushing against Mysterio. Mysterio hit the 619 and this thing looked like it was in th ebag, but Kane once again countered and this thing finally ended with a sick thud. Kane retains, and boy was it brutal for Mysterio. Mysterio can now go and get his knee fixed yet again, because this feud should be over, in my book. I liked the match, but it looked obvious over time that Rey wouldn't win. I hate how they book him weak during championship runs and then dominant during challenges...lame.

Post match, Kane hit Mysterio with another chokeslam and was going to throw him in the casket after another chokeslam, but alas, what we all knew was coming! A tombstone that looked like Mysterio hit his head on the mat and was dead, and then....

THE UNDERTAKER WAS IN THE CASKET AND HE ROSE UP! THE UNDERTAKER WAS IN THE CASKET! THE DEAD MAN IS BACK!

Yeah, yeah yeah. Another Kane vs Undertaker feud? Could the WWE telegraphed this any more? Every wrestling writer in the WORLD wrote this out, even I called it on this petty blog. EVERYONE wrote this one, everyone knew about this.

Undertaker came out and looked at Mysterio, and looked like he was going to take him out. He went to REY and UNDERTAKER said that it was him, and asked "WHY DID YOU DO IT REY" and then he grabbed him out of the corner after saying, "I Believe you" and it looked like he was going to chokeslam him to hell, but nope, he turned his gaze on Kane! He then attacked Kane...yep....man, what a terrible piece of writing. Kane beat up Taker, and that was that.

It's nice to see WWE helping Los Angeles. Lucky kids...wow. Lincoln Heights!! WOW! My old stomping grounds.

Team WWE came out and the 7th man was NOT MIZ. It was none other than DANIEL BRYAN! That's right, not the MIZ, it was DANIEL BRYAN?!?!?!

DANIEL BRYAN!!!!

DANIEL BRYAN!!!

DANIEL BRYAN!!!!

DANIEL BRYAN!!!!!

DANIEL BRYAN IS THE 7TH MAN! IT WAS DANIEL BRYAN!!!!!!

DANIEL BRYAN IS THE 7th MAN!!!

Team Cena defeated Team Nexus

This match had it all in terms of entertainment. This match was a nice fired mo match up. Bret Hart even got in and did MORE than he did at wrestlemania! I loved it. He was in there like a champ and every move was awesome! I was cheering big time. Short Elbows, hammering away, wow...Bret was awesome! Hart got himself disqualified by hitting Sheffield with a chair! People were getting eliminated left and right, and no one had a clear advantage for a good amount of time. I couldn't believe I was excited about this match as it was going on. I was thrilled with it, and for once, remembered what it was like to be a fan a real pr-wrestling fan. I didn't know who was going to win, and Daniel Bryan was there, my goodness. Wow, Justin Gabriel nearly killed Edge with a kick at one point....wrestling is fake, but for a split second I thought it was real.

At one point Jericho hit Cena and that was the end of Jericho! Edge and Cena jumped in at the same time and they started arguing! This was definitely looking like the beginning of the end! Edge was shoved into Cena and was eliminated as well, and Edge speared CENA on his way out! YES YES YES!

Edge and Jericho started beating up Cena on the outside, and that meant that Daniel Bryan and Cena were the last two left in the match against three members of Nexus. I'm already sick of Michael Cole hating Daniel Bryan, it's stupid. It's completely stupid.

Daniel Bryan finally got a tag into the match and he was on fire! He hit everything so clean, and it was awesome. He tee'd off on Heath Slater and the crowd ate it up! He put on the CROSSFACE and made SLATER TAP OUT! YES YES YES! DANIEL BRYAN! It came down 2 to 2....

The Miz ran down and knocked the crap out of Daniel Bryan with his briefcase! That's right, DANIEL BRYAN WAS KNOCKED OUT COMPLETELY by THE MIZ! He knocked out Daniel BRYAN! YEP! YEP! BRYAN IS OUT.

That left John Cena vs Wade Barrett and Justin Gabriel! Cena got in some great offense but the numbers game was definitely rising, and making this thing go nuts, and Cena was just getting whipped and beaten down. Finally, Cena was getting put into his place. I'm glad. He was getting beaten the crap out of, and I loved every minute. FU CENA! FU CENA is all I could think about in my head. Wade Barrett hit Cena with a ddt on the floor, with the mats pulled up. Cena was dead now, there was nothing left...he should've been dead.

Justin Gabriel went for the 450 SPLASH and Cena got up and out of the way, and eliminated Gabriel, then as Barrett walked in, CENA put on the STFU on BARRETT AND WON!

Yep.

SUPER FUCKIN CENA! FU FU WWE FU WWE I HATE YOU I HATE YOU FU WWE FU MOTHER GOD NO!

NO NO NO NON ON ONONONONONONO FUIWE:LFIJLIJW:EFINWEOFNWEFON

WHAT THE EFF? WHY?

WHY?

WHY WOULD CENA WIN? WHY?

I HATE YOU CENA DIE CENA DIE!

WHY? WHY?

CENA WINS!

SUMMERSLAM SUCKS!

WWE SUCKS

I can't believe this!

John CENA IS SUPERMAN! HE can't lose...there's no reason for this, there's aboslutely no reason for this piece of crap...I can't believe this...I Hate cena...so stupid, FU CENA! FU!

GOD WHY DO I WATCH THIS SHI*!

COme on!

COME ON!
