Impact Wrestling Slammiversary 2018 Results and Review

Impact Wrestling Slammiversary 2018
Slammiversary from Impact came through Canada and well, I knew nothing about the event other than Tommy Dreamer was booked on it. So, let's find out how it was. I heard on Twitter that it was good, so let's find out, this could very well be the best Impact Wrestling since 2006? Well, let's find out. This is my take on the event, since I watched it this morning.

Impact Wrestling Slammiversary 2018 Results and Review

Johnny Impact defeated Fenix, Bone Soldier, and Petey Williams

The opener for this show featured 4 great wrestlers, and it was a fun thing to watch. Every single high spot you could get was thrown at you through this match, and it was interesting to see how things worked out. Every member of this match was going all out, throwing themselves throughout the ring, and really showcasing great athletic abilities. There were so many moves, you'll have to see it for yourself. Of course, Starship Pain gets the victory in the finish, but wow, what a matchup.

Tessa Blanchard defeated Allie

I had no idea who Allie was, and well, she did a lot to fight through Blanchard's offense. Tessa Blanchard is one hell of an athlete, and once again proves that she's very good as a wrestler. She has power, and strength, and is great in ring. I found the match to be fun, and filled with a lot of back and forth moments. Given a good deal of time, and a lot of back and forth, this was no doubt a great match for women. I had fun, and Blanchard should be in WWE at a top level.

Eddie Edwards defeated Tommy Dreamer in a House of Hardcore Match

If you're into hardcore matches, then of course you're going to like how this turns out. Tommy Dreamer did a great deal of work here, and Edwards waas bleeding out bad, but overall, the match was just a hard hitting affair. Edwards would get the win, but not without taking a beating, and of course, giving Tommy Dreamer a beating as well. I'm ok without having too many matches in the hardcore arena, that's just me. Dreamer is still wrestling? Wow.

Brian Cage defeated Matt Sydal

Wow, Brian Cage impressed me the most here. Matt Sydal was good, no doubt, but Brian Cage was able to catch Sydal in every single instance, and I was absolutely impressed. Cage would eventually get the win, but wow, Sydal was impressive as well. Cage is an interesting wrestler.

Su Yung defeated Madison Rayne

I love Su Yung's character here, and she threw down a lot of offense against Madison Rayne. Rayne wasn't a slouch, she was able to fight a great one if you ask me. I mean not amazing, but still enough to make this an interesting match, with Yung winning in the end. I liked this a lot. It was a good match, and an interesting title defense for sure.

LAX defeated OGz in a 5150 Street Fight for the Tag Titles

Wow, this was one hell of a street fight. The two teams really threw down as much as you could in a match, and there was a lot of plunder, blood, and fighting. This was great, it was different enough from the House of Hardcore match, but it still had a lot of elements that are interesting overall. The match was great with LAX getting the win after a frog splash on a dude that was on thumbtacks. After the match OGz beat up Konnan, then spray painted the tag team titles, and that was that. Wow, hell of a match, and a nice ending, with the bad guys getting one over on the other teams. Defacing the titles, and getting heel heat, wow. Really cool, this was a fight that was nothing short of impressive.

Pentagon Jr. defeated Sami Callihan in a hair vs mask match

This was a great match. The two were able to work very well with a stellar back and forth match. The two were able to fight, and hit some serious hits. I was impressed with how fluid both wrestlers were, and this thing got hardcore fast. After some serious fights, you'll find that Pentagon Jr. was able to get a big win, and in fact was definitely impressive in the end. Callihan impressed me too, wow, what two talents going at it in what was very much a hard hitting battle for hair and mask. Pentagon got the win, and that's that. Good match, lots of spots, chops, and more.

Austin Aries defeated Moose in the Impact Title Match

I have no idea who Moose is. Austin Aries was getting a beat down for the most part. Aries was getting beat down for a good portion of this match, even though Aries is fast, and was able to counter some of Moose's work. This was a great overall match, with a lot of back and forth, with Aries having to battle a much larger, and much stronger opponent. I was impressed with Aries and Moose alike. Impact really has some good stars here, and I was impressed with Aries here, especially since he wasn't treated all that well by WWE. Not a 4 start classic, but definitely a great match up, with a lot to offer. Impact Wrestling really surprised me here.

I cannot agree more with the Twitter fans, this was a great rundown of wrestling and something that Impact should be proud of. Now if only their weekly shows weren't taped so long in advance, maybe I'd watch more often. Good outing here.

ECW Guilty As Charged 1999 Results and Review: A Better VHS Experience

January 10, 1999 ECW held a PPV from Florida. This had an attendance of 2,600 people, but when you saw it on camera, it looked packed, as it was definitely sold out. 1999 was a great year for the company, or so I can only assume. Whatever the case may have been, I didn’t get the PPV until January 11, 1999. I got the replay and it was only $19.99 from what I remember. My stepfather said I could order it, so I did. I recall recording it onto a VHS tape, and it ended up taping over an old porno I had recorded from the Spice Network. Oh well. I have gone back to watch this on the WWE Network, and I can reassure you that this is NOT the same as the RF Video, the official DVD and the VHS that is floating around. It is completely censored, and edited, and you can see it throughout. The music has been changed, the crowd noises aren’t the same, there’s a lot of lost audio, and it’s just not great. However, the matches are there, so that’s what we will talk about here, as we are GUILTY AS CHARGED!

ECW Guilty As Charged 1999 Results

Axl Rotten and Balls Mahoney defeated The FBI, and Danny Doring and Amish Roadkill

This opening match turned into a hardcore three-way dance, and it wasn’t great. It had some good spots and the crowd was way into it. However, from a wrestling standpoint, it was not that great. I was impressed with how good Amish Roadkill was, as he was a bigger guy that could fly around the ring. The rest were just bit players, with Rotten and Mahoney getting the big win with chairs. It’s a fun opening match, but nothing great here.

Match Rating: 2 out of 5

Tajiri defeated Super Crazy

Now this is a cruiserweight match! Super Crazy and Tajiri went back and forth. They knew how to counter things, they were flying around the ring, and they were doing things that you would not see in the heavyweight division. These guys really put on a show in under 12 minutes, and it’s sad to see the current WWE division flounder when this had the crowd going insane. Great match with Tajiri picking up the win.

Match Rating: 4 out of 5

Sid Vicious defeated John Kronus

John Kronus was in ring waiting for his opponent, and out came Sid! Sid got such a huge pop, it was absolutely insane. He went into the ring and threw Kronus through a table on the outside, then brought him back in for a powerbomb and the pin. Sid Vicious would go on to WCW in 1999, but before that, this was a great squash that introduced Sid to the ECW brand for a cup of coffee.

Match Rating: 2 out of 5

The Dudley Boyz defeated New Jack and Spike Dudley

The Dudleys came out and had an open challenge for anyone that was willing to come out. Well, the answer to their challenge was none other than Spike Dudley and New Jack! They came out with plunder and beat the crap out of the Dudley Boyz, but eventually they lost the match when the numbers game was just too much for them.

Match Rating: 3 out of 5

Rob Van Dam defated Lance Storm

I was never a big Lance Storm fan, and this didn’t do him any favors. It was ok. The match had some moments, but it was clear that the two didn’t mesh that well overall. I’ve seen way better from the two of these guys. They did put on a good match, though, nothing great, but good enough for a 20 minute TV Title match. This was seriously edited, so I hated the WWE version.

Match Rating: 2 out of 5

Justin Credible defeated Tommy Dreamer in a Stairway To Hell Match

Wow, Justin Credible should’ve received a better shake in WWE. Him and dreamer put on a 4 star classic that is absolutely great. You’re going to find this hard hitting match to be an instant classic. Credible took a beating, but in the end Tommy Dreamer was the one that got the big beat down. He was beaten to a pulp and right when he was about to get the upper hand, out came Terry Funk with a trash can to beat the holy hell out of Dreamer. Credible would get the victory here, and Tommy would once again be on the receiving end of a beat down.

Match Rating: 4 out of 5

Taz defeated Shane Douglas for the ECW World Title

The culmination of months of feuding came down to the these two getting a one on one brawl. This went all over the building. The two fought back and forth through the crowd, and onto the ramps placed throughout the arena. It all went down in under 25 minutes with Taz eventually getting the big win. Note that Shane Douglas had a cast on his arm, and looked a little heavy. Taz was in his prime here and the big win finally cemented him as a huge player in ECW and the world. I loved it.

Match Rating 4 out of 5

Overall ECW Guilty as Charged was a great show, but with the Network, you are getting an edited, neutered version of the event. It is still worth a watch, especially for the cruiserweight match, and the final two matches which were just brutal. ECW was absolutely great in 199i if you ask me. I’ll have more reviews as I go along watching more of these events from the past.

MCW Spring Fever Tour Frederick Stop 3/19/16 Results and Review

In an effort to bring more voices into this blog, I now present you with Patrick King. Here is his rundown of the MCW Spring Fever Tour stop in Frederick. Keep coming back for more articles, reviews, results, and writing from me and the rest of the crew.

So my wife and I attended this event. Why wait until the video was posted on MCW’s Rage TV streaming service to review the show? Well, there’s a very simple explanation. I paid good money for those tickets and wasn’t going to spend my time writing notes. I was going to have a good time. Besides, and this is definitely secondary, by waiting for the video to be released, I could see the backstage segments and the commentary. A classy way to do things, I know. With that in mind, here’s what you can dig on if you check out this episode of Rage TV:

Backstage Segment: Rayo and Bruiser

Bruiser is the franchise of MCW, having held their main title six times. I suppose he isn’t in any major storylines right now, so they’re sticking him with Rayo, who is a skinny Peruvian lad with a soccer player gimmick. I’ve certainly seen weirder gimmicks than a soccer player turned wrestler, but that didn’t make it any easier to wrap my head around. Rayo’s thing right now is that he’s a young upstart being paired with a veteran, someone he doesn’t want to disappoint.

When we see Rayo backstage, he’s going over a bunch of potential team names. They’re all very silly, of course. This team is playing on a rather hilarious juxtaposition of the big surly brawler and the young, much smaller, upstart.

Such is the nature of indie wrestling, I suppose, but for me the funniest part of the backstage segment was when special guest Tommy Dreamer walked backstage to check his cellphone, saw that a segment was being shot, and instead of walking back out, turned his back to the camera and finished whatever he had to do on his phone.

Guns for Hire (Bill Collier and Paul Jordane) with Kevin Eck vs The Hell Cats (Sexy Steve and Jimmy Starz)

The Hell Cats are a fun group. But they’re average sized dudes and look tiny next to Collier and Jordane, who have apparently been built entirely from brick and concrete and are about seven hundred feet tall. Basically, the gimmick for Guns for Hire is that they’re supposed to beat the shit out of MCW’s tag teams, to take them out before they have a chance to challenge the MCW tag team champions the Ectourage, who are, as you might expect, also managed by Kevin Eck. The Hell Cats have a basic good timin’ stoner kind of gimmick. Yeah, I can be pretty dense sometimes. I didn’t realize the whole stoner connection until the crowd started chanting, “THC! THC!” and I was wondering why even little kids were chanting about getting high. But my wife pointed out that those were the Hell Cats’ initials and I just sort of mumbled, “Ha, yeah, duh. I get it now.” I am not a bright man sometimes.

This was a classic high-flyers, speedballs vs brute force brawlers kind of deal. It was a nice juxtaposition. There was a hilarious part early in the match where Collier challenged Sexy Steve to a test of strength and held his arm out, but Steve was too short to reach his hand and had to try to jump to get to it.

Kevin Eck reminds me a bit of Bobby Heenan. He wears a WWE jacket to the ring. His character is an arrogant know it all who’s billed from Stamford Connecticut, which, of course, is where the WWE headquarters is located. Eck legitimately used to work for them, having been part of their creative team at one time. He is, of course, responsible for plenty of interference and dirty tricks that are sometimes successful in getting his team over. In this case it worked and Guns for Hire left with the victory.

Nice match. Good opening. It was fun watching Collier and Jordane manhandle the Hell Cats while they responded with speed and ingenuity.

Jeremiah vs Phoenix Fury

Phoenix Fury is a masked luchador, and I feel like it’s a good thing for any promotion to have at least one luchador on their roster. Fury is definitely a fan favorite, especially with the kids. Which makes sense, considering that luchadors are basically superheroes and villains come to life. Fury has long curly hair coming out from the back of his mask, which makes me wonder if the guy has a mullet, which would be freakin’ awesome.

Jeremiah has a holier-than-thou preacher thing going on. He’s great at talking the crowd into a frenzy. These guys are both very talented. They’re both graduates of the MCW training center which, if for no other reason, deserves a lot of props for graduating Lio Rush, the current Ring of Honor Top Prospect Tournament winner and, at only twenty-one, one of the best wrestlers in the world.

Very nice back and forth momentum with these two. Fury executed plenty of dives, and hit a flawless tornado DDT while Jeremiah tried to wear Fury down with a series of submission holds. It was a quick match, with Fury finally going over. Definitely no complaints here. I dig the occasional luchador match.

It didn’t last very long, but it did what it needed to do.

Appalachian Outlaws (Hoss and Bo Nekoda) vs Bruiser and Rayo

The crowd went crazy for Bruiser and Rayo. Bruiser’s a big guy, as you might expect, and Rayo is a smaller guy whose cardio is dialed up to eleven. They work great together, but you can tell this is all a temporary thing, maybe to get Bruiser out of the main event scene for a little while while Black Wall Street member Drolix chases the title. I still think the soccer player gimmick is a little weird. Reminds me of the New Generation era in the WWF, where everyone was both a wrestler and had an outside occupation. But then again, I wasn’t exactly the target audience for Rayo. One of the commentators described Rayo as Bruisers “little buddy,” which sounded rather condescending.

The Appalachian Outlaws are pretty convincing, as far as redneck gimmicks go. They look like they haven’t bathed in weeks. Maybe they haven’t. They’re managed by Colonel Callahan who came to the ring with a plastic soda bottle into which he spit gimmicked tobacco. At least I hope the tobacco was gimmicked. Because later in the match, it got used. Yuck.

It was nice to see how well Bruiser and Rayo work together. They’re definitely having fun with this this pairing. Rayo has great conditioning. He started the match out with a nice fast pace. The Outlaws did a lot of double teaming on Bruiser, because it’s his immense power they have to worry about.

Yikes. So apparently Bo Nekoda has a move called the “Snot Elbow.” Gross.

The match ended when Callahan handed Hoss his tobacco spit bottle. Hoss spit it into Rayo’s eyes, which allowed Bo Nekoda to roll him up for the win. Well, if you want to make heels really hated, this gross-out stuff really works. Also, kids, never put another man’s tobacco spit in your mouth. It’s definitely not sanitary and your lips will probably rot away. Seriously, that was some sick shit.

As they walked back to the dressing room, Bruiser argued with Rayo, teasing a tag split. This pairing definitely isn’t going to last forever, but it’s certainly fun to watch.

Jason Kincaid vs Brandon Scott

Jason Kincaid is probably best known for his work in NWA Smoky Mountain. Very good wrestler. He actually lost to Lio Rush in the first round of the ROH Top Prospect Tournament. I haven’t seen it, but I’m sure it was great. Maybe I should make a note of that. Anyway, this was Kincaid’s MCW debut. I hope he comes back soon. Though I live in Frederick and MCW mostly holds cards in the Baltimore area, which is about 45 minutes away, I still consider MCW my local promotion.

Brandon Scott, a former MCW Rage TV champion, was the perfect partner for Kincaid. Both were wonderful technical wrestlers. They really knew how to build a match. They started off slow, with some nice mat wrestling and built to a real breakneck speed. I was a bit annoyed at the audience when they started chanting, “This is boring” at the start of the match, but by the end they were chanting, “This is awesome.” And it was. This was the best match of the night. I guess you could call it the show stealer. Yeah, I think it was the show stealer.

Both Scott and Kincaid were about evenly matched in terms of technical ability, which is why it made sense to put them together. Kincaid went over, to a massive explosion of cheers. The two performers, both baby faces shook hands in the middle of the ring. It was a real treat to witness this match in person.

Backstage Interview With Ken Dixon

Dixon is a former Rage TV champion, the secondary MCW title. Later in the evening, he’s going to have a match with Billy Gunn, of Attitude Era fame, who currently holds the belt, capturing it off Dixon a few months ago. Although Gunn is a pretty frequent MCW special attraction, he’s not on the roster, so you definitely got the feeling going into this card that Dixon was going to regain his title, but it was still pretty cool to see these two guys go at it.

Dixon was interviewed by Tara, a beautiful redhead who also occasionally also does ring announcing. Dixon displayed some pretty typical tough heel bravado, bragging that he’s going to win the title back. My favorite line from his promo: “I hold a flashlight and you’re out of batteries.” Haha...what?

Ecktourage (Eric Chapel and Dirty Money) w/ Kevin Eck vs Punk Rock All Stars (Shaun Cannon and Drake Carter)

The Punk Rock All Stars have long, spiked hair. They definitely need a lot of hair product for that look. I wondered how long it would take for sweat to make the product useless, causing the hair to go limp. As it turns out, the answer is, well, about until the end of the match. The Ecktourage are great wimpy heels. At one point, one of the Punk Rock All Stars delivered a chop to Eric Chapel and he shouted, “He hurt my booby!” The match ended as Kevin Eck distracted the referee as Chapel threw one of the tag belts into the arms of Shaun Cannon. Chapel tossed himself to the mat just as the referee is done with Kevin Eck. Seeing Cannon with the belt and Chapel lying on the mat, he assumed the worst and disqualified the Punk Rock All Stars. Injustice!

Well, the ref might not have seen what happened, but general manager Phil Stamper saw the whole thing. He comes out from backstage and tells Kevin Eck he’s suspended for thirty days. Normally this wouldn’t really matter, since MCW puts on one, maybe two shows a month, but they were in the middle of the Spring Fever Tour and had several other stops that month, so effectively Eck was banned for the remainder of the tour. While Stamper was admonishing Eck, Chapel had some great lines. He shouted things like, “We don’t cheat, we improvise,” and, “Calm down, Jesus loves you.”

This match was fun. The Punk Rock All Stars are about as high energy as you would expect from a tag team with that name.

The Ecktourage added some nice comedy. All was right with the world.

Billy Gunn vs Ken Dixon

Ken Dixon and Billy Gunn are two very big dudes, plus Gunn is in his 50’s so, as you might expect, this was a brawler match. It was slower paced, more old school. There were a lot of hip tosses, bodyslams and a good portion of the match took place outside the ring.

Ken Dixon was accompanied to the ring by the Dixon Line, his security team, who, as you might expect, double teamed Gunn a few times. One of the Dixon Line guys tried to interfere in the match but Gunn punched him out and the crowd popped huge. But the interference distracted Gunn enough that Dixon was able to give him a low blow and take the victory.

Like I said before, I expected this to happen. It’s one of those things with special attractions. If they win a title, they’ll lose it pretty soon thereafter because maybe they only have one or two more nights booked. Some promotions even find a way for the special attraction guy to win and lose the title in the same night. Still, it’s almost definite that Billy Gunn will return to MCW at some point. He seems to have a great relationship with the promotors and has appeared on their cards several times over the past few years.

Backstage Segment: Bruiser and Rayo

Rayo felt terrible about losing the match (though, to be fair, I’m not sure what he could have done after being blinded by gross tobacco spit). He figured the tag team needed to dissolve. He decided that he needs to burn all their clothes to, I guess symbolically destroy their relationship. Bruiser came out of the showers wearing nothing but a towel, and saw that Rayo was about to burn Bruiser’s boxer shorts. He stopped him and asked Rayo what the hell he was doing. Rayo explained his guilt and Bruiser basically said, “You win some, you lose some.” Rayo was so happy that they’re still going to be a tag team that he jumps into Bruiser’s arms and gives him a big hug. This prompted the alpha man Bruiser to yell, “Get off me!”

Despite the slight whiff of homophobia in that segment, it was funny enough. Is Rayo some sort of mad stalker? Will this turn out to be a Fatal Attraction scenario? Maybe Rayo will snap and go full Backlund. It’ll be interesting to see what they do with this angle.

Six Man Extreme Rules Match: King Ryan McBride and the Dixon Line (Rob Locke and Joe Keys) vs Black Wall$treet (Chuck Lennox and Drolix) and Tommy Dreamer

Extreme rules! Nice! Well, lots of kids in the audience, so I assumed it was going to be a PG type affair, obviously no blood.

I’m fine with that. It really just means a lot of brawling and very little wrestling. But it turned out we got both brawling and wrestling when King McBride got on the mic and told the crowd to “take a knee.” I’ve got to admit, I don’t like “king” gimmicks.

They’re all the same. But whatever, it was pretty funny when McBride said that the match was no longer going to be extreme rules. Instead, it was going to be “King’s rules, which means all rules apply.” Well, yes, a bit weird that wrestlers get to change match stipulations, but we’re gonna roll with it.

So with extreme rules out the door, we got a good five or ten minutes or so of wrestling. The dramatic force behind this match was that Drolix, a former MCW champion, was chasing McBride, the current champion, for an eventual payoff match. So here we were furthering the feud without having them go one on one quite yet. Plus we get Tommy Dreamer, too.

Speaking of Dreamer, at about the midpoint in the match he grabbed the microphone and shouted, “Screw this! Extreme rules!”

Okay, so wrestlers definitely get to change match stipulations. At least in this match.

So a brawl broke out. Very PG. Stop signs, garbage cans, etc. A cluster of bodies. Hard to follow at points. Tommy Dreamer let fans chop Joe Keys, pulling him around the guardrail outside the ring. A young fella of about five straight up punched keys in the chest, which made everyone crack up. The commentators laughed, talked about the devastating heart punch the kid delivered.

Eventually, Drolix suplexed McBride onto a stop sign, getting Black Wallstreet the win and giving the crowd the payoff they expected.

Good match. Everything you might expect from a PG extreme rules match.

The card was a nice mix of styles. High flyers, technical wrestling, a nice dash of comedy. That Jason Kincaid and Brandon Scott match, though. Wonderful stuff. That was enough reason in itself to check out this card.

ECW Living Dangerously 1998 Results and Review

The Asbury Park Convention Hall in New Jersey was the home for the first pay per view with the name Living Dangerously from ECW. I went back and watched it to review it for this site, and have a few notes to give, and random ideas as well. Now, you can get an edited version of this on the WWE network, but I recommend picking up the official release so that you don’t get it “edited” and watered down. However, it’s really a good effort on the WWE streaming side, so it’s up to you what you want to do.

You can Buy ECW Living Dangerously 1998 from Amazon Here

ECW Living Dangerously Review

Jerry Lynn and Chris Chetti defeated The F.B.I

This was a somewhat forgettable match. It had a few moments, but overall, it was a fast paced opener that didn’t really highlight Lynn’s best. However, it was a good opening match up. Chetti was the highlight, being trained and featured in the ECW brand.

Masato Tanaka defeated Doug Furnas

For those of you young people out there, Furnas was in WWE for a while with a tag partner. He showed up in ECW here after getting thrown into the mix there in WWE’s bolstering tag division. He didn’t do much there, but here he got a lost in under 10 minutes against Tanaka. Not either one of these individuals best match.

Rob Van Dam defeated 2 Cold Scorpio

This by far was the second to best match of the night. RVD really showed up to showcase his skills in this one. 2 Cold Scorpio (Flash Funk in WWE) put on a showcase as well. The two nearly went 30 minutes in this match, and it was never a dull moment. These two could go, and it showed. RVD picks up the win, but it was not easy. Look out for this one, it’ll surprise you how good it truly was.

New Jack and Spike Dudley defeated The Dudley Boyz and Balls Mahoney and Axl Rotten in a 3 way dance

This was a classic hardcore match. Lots of plunder, lots of hard hitting spots, and blood. The highlight was Spike and New Jack jumping off the balcony through tables. That was a classic high spot. However, this too was a bit on the forgettable side.

Remember, You can Buy ECW Living Dangerously 1998 from Amazon Here

Tommy Dreamer defeated Justin Credible

This was an interesting one as Jenna Jameson came out to do a quick interview with Justin Credible. She was top heavy, and didn’t have all the plastic surgery yet. She was hot, I admit it. Anyways, Tommy Dreamer picks up the win with some interference from Beulah (his wife), and it’s a shame that Justin Credible didn’t get more of a fair shake in WWE when he was Aldo Montoya. This was as good as you’d expect, with some great moments, and nice overall offense from Dreamer. Credible bounced around a bit, but in the end, fell to Dreamer and Beulah’s interference.

Bam Bam Bigelow defeated Taz for the ECW Television Championship

This is by far the best match on the card. The reason being is simple, Taz and Bigelow flow quite well in the ring. Bigelow here comes across as seriously powerful, but Taz was able to lift and suplex the crap out of him. Taz truly impressed me when he straight dead lifted Bam Bam over his head, and through a table. This spot alone is worth your time. Dead weight man, you can see Taz about to buckle and then just pulls him over. Furthermore, Taz nearly knocks himself out cold throwing Bigelow off of the stage and hits his head on a guard rail. Epic match.

Sabu defeated The Sandman in a Singapore Cane Match

Not much to say about this one. Sabu got help from RVD. The best part was RVD was dressed as Sabu, so that was a bit of fun. This had a lot of brawling, and Sabu hitting his famous spots. Sandman got drunk, and beat up, that’s about it.

Lance Storm and Al Snow defeated Chris Candido and Shane Douglas

This match started with Lance Storm having a “mystery partner”. What happened next was fun. Sunny came out and said she was the mystery partner. The match moved ok, but it wasn’t until Sunny turned on Storm that things got really fun. The mystery partner was revealed to be Al Snow! The lights went out and the arena was full of foam heads! Things went insane, as there was a hole in the ring from the earlier match. Al Snow pinned Douglas, and this match was done fast. It wasn’t much of a match, but it had a fun finish with the visual of thousands of foam heads.

The number one reason why I recommend getting this DVD is simple, Bam Bam Bigelow versus Taz. One hell of a match, and Taz really put on a show. Dead lifting Bigelow through a table, holy crap, that's all I can say about this one. 2 Cold Scorpio and Van Dam put on a clinic too, but it was the TV title match that takes the cake here.

WWE Monday Night Raw 12/14/2015 The Roman Empire On Top

Roman Reigns Is Your New Champion - SRC WWE.com
I have to admit, I fell asleep at several points in this week’s Hulu version of Raw. There was a lot of talking starting out, but watching Stephanie McMahon slap the living hell out of Roman Reigns was great. When Vince McMahon kicked Roman in the nuts, I woke up again. I managed to stay through a few things here and there, but overall, honestly, the biggest things coming out of Raw really aren’t that big at all, except for Roman Reigns.

Hulu’s edition seemed to drag on. I can’t imagine the 3 hour edition, as this was not going well for entertainment value on my end. Here are a few notes that I want to point out, for you 2 readers that are still reading this diatribe.

“Why Did Kevin Owens attack Ziggler?” – Michael Cole

What the hell Cole? Do you not even know the rules of wrestling? Why would Kevin Owens attack Ziggler? Because it would cost Ambrose the match! That goes back to the 1980s heel moves! Idiots. Fire Cole, please.

The Wyatt Family Are An Extreme Threat

The Dudley Boyz losing yet again was odd. I guess the Wyatt family finally is a threat? That’s the end of the former ECW guys, I think. Good match though, great flow, good extreme moments, and overall a classic in my view.

The Divas Revolution Is Done

That divas match was short, terrible, and just boring. So much for that Divas Revolution.

Roman Reigns defeated Sheamus for the WWE title!

Overall, Raw was boring for me. However, the final was good, even though it wasn’t a long match like last night. McMahon getting knocked out with a Superman punch, and Sheamus losing to Reigns was definitely a great thing. Roman Reigns and the Roman Empire are now a thing. I liked it. I don’t know what’s next, but chances are Brock Lesnar is waiting for the rematch from Mania, that is after Triple H gets the loss against him at the Rumble etc.

WWE TLC 2015 Results and Review Stone Cold Roman Reigns

Roman Reigns Lost, But Beat The Hell Out of Sheamus - SRC WWE.Com
WWE TLC ran through PPV and the WWE Network last night, and I haven’t been so excited to see a show in a long time. Albeit, I wasn’t too thrilled before the show, but when it came time for the lights to dim and the curtains to open on the showcase, I was ready with a large pizza and a bottle of whiskey to wash it down. I can truly say that this was the best PPV of 2015 in my opinion. You may not get that from several podcasts that recapped the show. Especially the shows like Wrestling Soup, which took a dump on a lot of the shows main pieces. Why even watch or do a podcast if you don’t even like what you’re watching? Whatever, lots of negativity out there, but I remain positive, because I loved the show, and that’s that. Here’s a few of my thoughts coming out of the show.

TNA Impact 11/26/10 Results

Tommy Dreamer defeated Rhino in a street fight
Sarita defeated Madison Rayne
Jeff Jarrett defeated Jesse Neal in an MMA match
Matt Morgan, The Pope, Samoa Joe, and Douglas Williams vs Beer Money, Kaz, and Aj Styles

TNA Impact 11/26/10 Review

I'm not a big TNA fan, but I keep reviewing it in hopes of something good happening, so here we go, another Thursday night of wrestling, another post on this old blog.

Here we go....Tna Impact.

Matt Morgan cut a promo, and Doug Williams joined too, and it was just odd...to see the two of them together on the same page.

Tommy Dreamer defeated Rhino in a street fight

This streetfight was terrible. Tommy Dreamer and Rhino put together a crap brawl, and it was "hardcore" i guess, but it wasn't all that good. Both wrestlers were completely winded, and just didn't seem to care too much, except for maybe dreamer, as he gave some lame promo about friendship. This match was bad, trust me, this match was bad.

Post match, Rhino threw Tommy Dreamer straight through a table. That prompted RVD to come down with a chair and chase Rhino away.

Highlights were shown of last week's Reaction where the Motor City Machine Guns fought Generation Me in an "empty arena" match. It was stupid.

Sarita defeated Madison Rayne

This was an impromptu wrestling match of sorts, and I wasn't sure what was going on, but Sarita wins a non title match. It was an ok affair, and the two women put on a very basic match with a roll up win.

Jeff Jarrett defeated Jesse Neal in an MMA match

This match was stupid. Jarrett hit Neal with a guitar and won the match up. This was bad, just bad, I can't say more, this was just the worst match I've seen in a long time.

Brother Ray cut a promo on Devon, it was more of the same.

Matt Morgan, The Pope, Samoa Joe, and Douglas Williams Beer Money, Kaz, and Aj Styles

This match wasn't all that great. It was an ok 8 man tag, but for the most part it was just rushed and didn't really melt well. THe match wasn't half bad towards the end, and I was finally starting to get into it. Doug Williams was nearly pinned several times during this match up, and it seems that he's the only one that can really work well with heels. Matt Morgan ended up taking on Robert Roode and Aj Styles attacking him, and guess what?

TNA IMPACT ended with the match still going, and I gave up. I don't have reaction and I don't watch it, so that was that. I don't know what happened and I don't care. If you saw Reaction that's cool, I'm not going to try and watch another show...F IT. TNA SUCKS. I can't believe they do this bs, and well, screw over the little hope of gaining fans.

TNA Turning Point 2010 ppv Results and Review

TNA Turning Point 2010 PPV Results

Robbie E defeated Jay Lethal in the x division championship match
Tara vs. Mickie James (no contest)
The Motor City Machine Guns defeated Team 3D
RVD defeated Tommy Dreamer
Fortune defeated EV2.0
Abyss defeated The Pope
Jeff Jarrett defeated Samoa Joe
Jeff Hardy defeated Matt Morgan

TNA Turning Point 2010 PPV Review

I'm late on this one, but that's ok...I think.

Robbie E defeated Jay Lethal in the x division championship match

I kind of miss the "Black Machismo" gimmick. However, I'll settle for this "cruiserweight" Jay, as many of us must do. The match really favored Robbie E in this match, he was generating a lot of heat with his offense. When he slapped on the Abdominal Stretch, the crowd was all over him in terms of heat, and a lot of other points featured the crowd crapping on the Jersey Shore knockoff. Jay Lethal had some offense, but after a distraction from Cookie, Robbie E hit his neckbreaker (rude awakening) and won the match up. He is now the new X-Division champion.

The match was ok. I'm not a big fan of "hot shotting" the title to a new comer, but I'm ok with it. Hopefully Robbie E could make the belt mean more, and have legit competition. His character based gimmick could actually work out quite well.

Tara vs. Mickie James (no contest)

This match was either double countout or simply no contest. The women fought from the ring to the outside, and just kept fighting. This wasn't a match as much as it was a brawl. It eventually turned into a street fight. It was ok, but I'm tired of the "Hardcore Country" gimmic. I didn't love the match, but I also didn't hate it, so I guess it passes.

The two ended up in the middle of the ring, after the match just fighting and in the end...stripping each other's clothes off?!? Yeah, the segment ended oddly, and I'm not sure where they were going with it...I'm sure the feud will eventually come to more matches.

The Motor City Machine Guns defeated Team 3D

This match was billed as Team 3D's last match. It was back and forth, with lots of counters, lots of different momentum changes, lots of hits and misses, and heavy impact moves from both teams. Every big move was kicked out of, every big move was hit, and towards the end the story became, "no one has ever kicked out of 3D" and of course, that was over...as the Machine Guns picked up the win and that was it...I guess that's the end of Team 3D? ok.

I read that Team 3D just signed new 3 year contracts, so I'm not sure what's next for that team. Single's Competition? Road Agents? I don't know.

RVD defeated Tommy Dreamer

This match was painful to watch. These two are way past their prime and each of them showed signs of aging. The match eventually was won by RVD, with little to no fan fare. I didn't care of this match, and it just looked tiring. I'm tired of watching these idiots...I don't even know what it proved.

Fortune defeated EV2.0

This match sucked...another parade of "old men". Sabu was pinned and this match was over. Sabu is fired, I guess. This match was boring, and sucked. Sorry, it just didn't have a lot to it, and this Fortune & Immortan thing is so confusing. Plus, who kidnapped Samoa Joe? Just sayin.

Abyss defeated The Pope

The Pope got a lot of offense against Abyss, but that didn't matter. No one cared...at least I didn't. Abyss wins...again. I'm sick of Abyss, he's the worst character/wrestler going in TNA today. The Pope had his "congregation" at ringside, and Eric Bischoff got them to turn on Pope and beat him up. That was that.

No one cares.

FIRE ALL THE TNA WRITERS!

Jeff Jarrett defeated Samoa Joe

Samoa Joe losees, this sucks. Joe got choked out with a night stick, and the security guys helped Double J win. There was a ref bump, there were a few moments that were ok, but overall...Joe gets buried. I hate this, you hate this, ugh...they sucked the life out of TNA's ppv tonight.

Jeff Hardy defeated Matt Morgan

Not exactly a four star classic, but it was watchable. Matt Morgan put up a good overall fight, but he couldn't take out Hardy for too long and Hardy managed to pick up a victory. NO ONE CARED! Hardy worked on Morgan's knee, and Morgan no sold much of it. A twist of fate got the win...who cares....I'm sick of TNA.

TNA Impact 9/30/10 Results

Rhyno & Tommy Dreamer defeated Beer Money in a lumberjack match
Generation Me defeated Ink Inc
Aj Styles defeated Brian Kendrick
Ken Anderson defeated Samoa Joe
Abyss vs. Kurt Angle in a steel cage match

TNA Impact 9/30/10 Review

Kurt Angle started the show talking about random crap...then we found out that Abyss will fight Angle in a cage and the two started fighting backstage. Yep, they just randomly brawled, and that's it.

Rhyno & Tommy Dreamer defeated Beer Money in a lumberjack match

This match was terrible. These four do not have charisma with each other and the match was just boring. The match had a lot of nearfalls towards the end, and pandamonium broke loose on the floor. Dreamer dodged a beer bottle to the head and hit the Dreamer Driver to win the match up. This was seriously a terrible match. It was a waste of time.

Mick Foley challenged Ric Flair.

Ric Flair beat up Foley's book...yep. I kid you not, he beat up FOley's book....I'm so bored with this crap.

Generation Me defeated Ink Inc

This match sucked. I think the guys are talented, but it just didn't strike me as that good. There were some nice spots, but nothing that great.

Post match they got chased out by The Motor City Machine Guns. They didn't appeared injured at all.

Remember the ranking system? Yeah, neither does TNA. Oh and, WHO KIDNAPPED SAMOA JOE?!?!?!

Ken Anderson defeated Samoa Joe

This match was slow moving, and didn't highlight either man. Anderson eventually got the Mic Check on Joe and that was that. This match was barely passable.

The Pope, Kevin Nash and Sting are apparently friends now.

Aj Styles defeated Brian Kendrick

Not much to say about this one. Styles won. Styles looked like he took a major shot to the mouth, but Kendrick was the loser here. I'm not sure where they are going with his character, as he just keeps losing.

Abyss vs. Kurt Angle in a steel cage match

This match was in fact a cage match. It had all the trappings of a quality cage match, and it got brutal. Angle got completely bloodied and was getting the beating of his life. He was getting taken out at every corner, and Abyss took some shots, but not nearly as bad as Angle. The ref got taken out and then Anderson came down to help, but he got taken out by Abyss.

The end of the match had Abyss with both men beaten, and the ref out. I guess that means Abyss wins?

The crowd was dead quiet on this, cause no one cared for it, and I didn't. Worst cage match I've ever seen. Worst one ever...plain and simple. Worst than the Kennel from Hell match.

Tna has the worst wrestling in the world, face it. I know WWE isn't always that good, but TNA is beyond repair to me at this point. This was one of the worst shows...I'm so sick of TNA.

TNA No Surrender 2010 Results

The Motor City Machine Guns defeated Generation Me
Douglas Williams defeated Sabu

Abyss defeated Rhino
Samoa Joe & Jeff Jarrett defeated Sting & Kevin Nash
Aj Styles defeated Tommy Dreamer in an I Quit Match
Jeff Hardy vs. Kurt Angle (NO CONTEST)
Ken Anderson defeated The Pope D'Angelo Dinero

TNA No Surrender 2010 Review

The PPV started with the arrivals of the wrestlers to the arena. Nothing crazy, just handy cam footage. I'm not sure why this is entertaining, but then again, I can't really say that TNA has a whole list of entertaining things, half of the time.

This is basically a telegraphed ppv, and year for TNA. Angle will eventually get the title and that's about it. That's it.

The Motor City Machine Guns defeated Generation Me

The opening match was set to stun, and it was definitely an interesting one, but I can't help but notice the lack of in ring psychology from the two teams involved. There were several instances where the Motor City Machine Guns hit 6 or 7 moves back to back to back and so forth on their opponents, and yet Generation Me was still rolling around fighting, and getting up. Do these move have NO impact? It just doesn't make sense to me. As for entertainment value, this match had a lot of great tag team moments, and featured a lot of back and forth action. This is a great opener, had a great deal of spots that just proved that there is need for a deeper tag division. Even with my complaints, this match delivered, and got the crowd into the night, and while I knew that the young bucks weren't winning, I was at least entertained, and well, I give TNA credit for actually giving tag teams a little more time. It's only a matter of time before Nash & Sting get the titles though...just saying.

The one thing I didn't like, is that the announcers kept talking about how it wasn't "Christian" of sorts for Generation Me to beat up the Motor City Machine Guns after the match. I'm sure many will cite that, and try to say that they are "not" being very christian like...which is why I never like to throw out my religion when discussing anything I professionally do. Heck, if I make a sandwich is it a "christian" sandwich? just sayin.

Douglas Williams defeated Sabu

I'm not sure if it was intentional, but Sabu and Williams were actually telling a story for a change. I was surprised at the in ring psychology in this match. Williams focused on rest holds and isolated Sabu's arm at first, and was trying to stop Sabu's high powered offense, and was having a hard time doing so. Sabu kept trying to add his "hardcore" style to the matches, but was thwarted by the ref or by Williams. I give Williams some credit, because he got a lot out of Sabu, and it wasn't just a spot fest. Sabu has slowed down a bit, but he still can put together some quality moments, without resorting to all weapons etc. That being said, this match was better than I thought, and really had a good balance of Sabu's hardcores style vs the more traditional mat wrestling style. I actually thought this one was good...even with a botch, and some blown spots. I'm not sure every wrestling fan will have the same view of the match that I did, but I loved it, that's for sure. Sabu was in some obvious pain, and dare I say...was "selling" and was actually "wrestling"?!?! This slower style really was complimented, and while some of the crowd was chanting "boring" and booing the action, I liked it a lot. I absolutely loved the table spot in this match, it was done with a serious "brain". Williams was placed on top of it, then looked up visibly to see where SABU was and Sabu flew through it, and that was that, the beginning of the end. Doug Williams distracted the ref and hit Sabu with the title belt to win. A 3 star match from these two? Wow...I was impressed for once.

Velvet Sky defeated Madison Rayne

This was probably one of the worst women's matches I've ever seen. There wasn't much saving grace here. While I think Madison Rayne has a pretty face, she can't wrestle, and this match was stupid. I hate the knockouts division now....they need more depth and Awesome Kong etc. Whatever. I hate the divas and the knockouts now. What a waste of ppv space.

Abyss defeated Rhino

I've already seen this match many times. I hate Abyss and I'm not a fan of Rhino. This match was terrible. I don't mind hardcore matches, but this one sucked, it was slow, it was dumb, and it just further proves that Abyss is a one trick pony and Rhino is past his prime. I was bored, you were bored...no one cares about these two idiots.

Oh and who's "THEY"? Who kidnapped Samoa Joe? Ugh...TNA, by mid point sucked the life out of this ppv.

Samoa Joe & Jeff Jarrett defeated Sting & Kevin Nash

This match was stupid. I'm tired of the old idiots. I'm sick of seeing Jarrett. Samoa JOe did the majority of the work in this match, but the old guys could barely bump to his offense. Sting is past his prime, it was very evident here. Double J used the bat to get the win, and that was that. This match sucked, and TNA turned an ok ppv into some of the worst wrestling since WCW 2000. Samoa Joe knocked out Sting with his submission move...whatever...NO ONE CARES ABOUT THESE GUYS!

WHO KIDNAPPED SAMOA JOE?!??!?! FIRE ALL THE TNA WRITERS! WAY TO RUIN A PPV TNA MAN I'M SO SICK OF THIS PIECE OF CRAP.

Aj Styles defeated Tommy Dreamer in an I Quit Match

Tommy Dreamer gets pummeled and beat down in this "I Quit Match". Aj STyles won by stabbing Dreamer in the eye with a fork. Yep. I kid you not. This was stupid...this match sucked. STyles barely broke a sweat, Dreamer looked as though he was carrying a keg through the whole match up. Man, this ppv had promise and just totally went down hill. Dreamer looked like he was crying, Styles is a shell of his former self...this sucked. You don't want to see this trash.

Man, I wish I could hang out with Christy Hemme...and her huge forehead.

Angle's telegraphed wins are start to tire me so much.

Jeff Hardy vs. Kurt Angle (NO CONTEST)

Jeff Hardy and Kurt Angle were trying to put on a clinic, and I didn't hate it. I thought that they worked their asses off in this match, however, I've already seen both of these guys go to war with differeng people and each other and I'm not really that surprised. I wasn't really into the match, and I kept thinking, ok, Angle is going to win soon etc etc. The match went to the time limit with a draw, and Bischoff declared over time...TWICE! After a long drawn out battle, and two restarts, I finally started to get into this match, and thought that the two might be able to capture my imagination, evne for a second. Angle was busted wide open after hitting the steel steps, and that became a factor in the over time. The time limit once again expired, and Hardy & Angle were still trying to go...buuuuut.....Angle was "bleeding" too much and Bischoff was in the ring and trying to give Hardy some time to recover.

After a long pause, and I do mean long...Bischoff got on the mic and said that the match was a NO CONTEST...so lame...so lame. There were a LOT of spots here, lots of impact moves, lots of reversals, lots of kick outs, 5 years ago this match would've been 4 stars. I liked it enough, but it just didn't hold my attention nearly as much as TNA would have liked me to enjoy it. I don't care about fat ass jeff hardy and past his prime angle...i just don't.

Ken Anderson defeated The Pope D'Angelo Dinero

This match, might have been the longest match I've seen Ken Anderson in since leaving WWE. The Pope was carrying a good amount of this match up, and Kennedy was looking a big more Flabby then he usually does. Dinero was favoring his left shoulder for a good portion of this match as Anderson had been focusing on that in many ways. Despite these two trying really hard, the match just dragged on at a few points. Even the crowd as over this ppv as they were silent through most of the two's offense. I haven't seen or heard a "deader" crowd in my life during parts of this match up. There were some major botches here, and after The MIC check was blocked a bunch, and then kicked out of, this match was just looking to be a parody of a good wrestling match. I was ready to throw in the towel on this ppv at around 2 hours and 45 minutes, and didn't see how they could've saved the match, even with The Pope's third come back. After THREE MIC Checks throughout the match, Ken Anderson advanced...which is surprising to me.

Oh and didn't The Pope have a title shot due him? Whatever...I'm sick of this crap.

This match shouldn't have been the main event, it sucked. Ken Anderson was barely sweating, he phoned it in, Pope carried him for a good amount of the match, and I was just tired...I'm sick of this crap.

No Surrender started of good, but after the second match, this thing cooled to ice...what a terrible PPV. This is a high candidate for the worst ppv I've seen all year...yeah, worst ppv all year! I'm so sick of this promotion...such a lousy ppv. NO ONE HAD BETTER HAVE LIKED THIS...WHAT A TERRIBLE NIGHT OF WRESTLING! LOUSY! LOUSY LOUSY! FIRE ALL THE TNA WRITERS!

I'd rather have no alternatives than to keep watching this piece of crap wrestling promotion. WCW 2001 was better...yeah, I said it.

TNA Impact 8/19/10 Results

Jeff Hardy defeated Rob Terry
Mr. Anderson defeated Jay Lethal
Angelina Love defeated Madison Rayne
Kurt Angle defeated Douglas Williams
AJ Styles defeated Tommy Dreamer
The Pope defeated Matt Morgan

TNA Impact 8/19/10 Review

The show starts with Abyss and Jeff Hardy backstage fighting.

I'm going to say this straight up, I HATE THESE TWO WRESTLING! They've wrestled a BILLION times! I've seen them fight in Monsters Ball matches, regular matches, and so much more. I'm tired of seeing them fight, it's boring.

Eric Bischoff was in ring and said he never has seen something so horrific as last week's attack on EV2!

REALLY?

You didn't see the NWO slam a steel cage door into the side of Flair's head? Just to name a quick one....or didn't you see Goldberg literally tazer Scott Hall?

COME ON!

I'm tired.

Jeff Hardy defeated Rob Terry

Jeff Hardy ran into the ring and was hitting Rob Terry with a variety of moves, trying to get the big man down, and it wasn't working too well. Rob Terry was throwing Hardy around in amazing fashion, and I personally liked it. I like Terry, despite the obvious look of steroid abuse. Hardy, managed to turn things around in the midpoint and hit Terry with some nice offense to hang in there. Hardy hit the Swanton but only landed his legs on Terry and won.

I didn't like the end of the match. BUt I did like the match enough.

Hulk Hogan was on a cell phone, and he was saying he was going to quit the show.

Mr. Anderson defeated Jay Lethal

This match was fast paced, and wasn't given a lot of time. Lethal has been on a streak, but somehow he loses clean to Anderson. That's right, Anderson didn't cheat in this one, he didn't use a foreign object, he just out smarted Lethal, which is a bit odd to me, considering that Jay Lethal was on the rise...but whatever.

Angelina Love defeated Madison Rayne

This match sucked. The Knockouts have NOT been good in a long time. Not since Gail Kim left have I cared about the Knockouts. The only thing that might gain some credence is if they unmask the motorcycle girl, other than that, I don't care.

Fortune was in the ring and things were looking good? They have 6 members now? What the heck? Yes, they have six members now. How is this like the Four Horseman?

EV 2 came out and basically set up a feud with Fortune...that's why there's 6 now, or 7 because it's a feud....i'm already sick of this feud. They're doing what WWE is doing...only lighter.

Kurt Angle defeated Douglas Williams

This match wasn't terrible, but I'm so tired of Angle steamrolling EVERY person in TNA. It's hard to imagine that he'll lose. I'm sick of this crap. He's getting close to getting a title shot...I don't care. I really don't give a crap about either one of these guys, and TNA keeps shoving it down my throat.

Kevin Nash & Sting came out to the ring and started mouthing off. Then came out Double J and this started a feud too....ugh...so sick of this crap.

The four guys were going to fight and the lights went out and guess what?

Fortune was in the ring and beating up the four guys.

SUCH A TERRIBLE IMPACT. I'm tired.

The Pope D'Angelo Dinero defeated Matt Morgan

These two can probably put on a good match, but given such a short amount of time, it was interesting to see if they could make it work. This match was relatively boring to me, until the end. MOrgan smashed his nuts into the steel ring post, hit his two legged move on the outside and rolled up Morgan on the inside, so that was quite good.

The final four in the tournament are Hardy, Angle, Pope and Anderson and they'll fight at No Surrender?

This sucks. THe whole tournament thing sucks, FIRE ALL THE TNA WRITERS.

AJ Styles defeated Tommy Dreamer

This match was about as good as you can get from an old ass Tommy Dreamer. STyles put on an ok show, all things considered. There were nice reversals towards the end, and I liked that Dreamer was able to work through his injury. This match looked great towards the end, and then they ruined it.

THis match had TNA and EV2 fighting outside the ring, distracting the ref, and Styles wins after Abyss runs in and beats up Tommy Dreamer.

Wow.

This sucked.

The show ended with a brawl.

WOW....this was just like WCW 2001...what a terrible night of wrestling, what a waste of time. If you missed it, good!

TNA Hardcore Justice 2010 Results

THE FBI defeated Kid Kash, Simon Diamond, Johnny Swinger
Too Cold Scorpio defeated CW Anderson
Stevie Richards defeated Justin Credible w/ Nova & Fake Blue Meanie
Rhyno defeated Al Snow and Spike Dudley in a triple threat elimination match
The Dudleys w/ Joel Gertner defeated Balls Mahoney & Axel Rotten
Raven defeated Tommy Dreamer w/ special guest referee Mick Foley
RVD defeated SABU

TNA Hardcore Justice 2010 Review

The TNA ECW ppv started with a recap of the past of extreme wrestling. It's relatively the same as the one they showed on Impact. Once again, we see if TNA could make something out of nothing.

The crowd kept saying ECW regardless of copyright.

Taz came out first!

Taz gave some lame speech..it sucked.

THE FBI defeated Kid Kash, Simon Diamond, Johnny Swinger

Most of these guys do not have their physiques. I didn't really want to watch this, and was already tired. This was a very interesting match, because it had real wrestling in it! There were a few botches, but for the most part there was a good overall pace and wrestling prowess that YOU DO NOT SEE regularly. TNA talent could learn a thing or two from these guys, even if some of them were obviously out of their prime. The match turned into a dance off....ugh...not my thing. So thsi match had some good moments, and it wasn't a complete loss, despite a little bit of ring rust. I liked it, it was entertaining, and the best six man tag I've seen in a long time.

The main event would be none other than RVD vs Sabu, since Jerry Lynn was injured.

Too Cold Scorpio defeated CW Anderson

Scorpio (Flash Funk) doesn't look like he has been kept up his workout regimen, but then again CW Anderson wasn't exactly ripped. This match was interesting, if only to showcase that these two could still work really well. I liked it, wow, I didn't think I would like it, but Scorpio is quite fast. Scorpio won with one of the most amazing moves I've ever seen! He did a Full BackFlip and hit a LEG DROP! That's right, a full flip leg drop!

Bill Alfonso was backstage with RVD.

Stevie Richards defeated Justin Credible w/ Nova & Fake Blue Meanie

Justin Credible had this match nearly won with a spinning Tombstone Piledriver, but was distracted. Other than some simple moves, this match wasn't all that great, and the crowd was dead until Stevie hit the Superkick and won this match up. I didn't like it that much, and it was a real downer until Credible hit Richards with the Singapore Cane! That was awesome for sure.

The lights went out, and guess who?

THE SANDMAN! (Taz of course ruined the surprise)

The Sandman showed up and Justin Credible tried to fight, but immediately got a Russian Leg Sweep and the caning of his life. That was that. Sandman is fat again..that's nice. I saw him in Los Angeles around 2001 and he was really skinny and looked nearly sick.

It's nice to see that Francine gaind some weight and has a kid now. Remember that one time that Francine showed her tits? I didn't see it, but RF Video had a vhs for sale, but alas...I never saw it.

Rhyno defeated Al Snow and Spike Dudley in a triple threat elimination match

Spike is slower now, and couldn't hang at a few moments in this match. Al Snow and Rhyno did a lot of the heavy lifting. Snow used Head during the match after a ref bump and Spike used a chair to try to get leverage, by throwing it at Al Snow ala Eddie Guerrero! Then Al snow pretended to be out. This match had a lot of dead spots, but eventually managed to have a good enough finish to get the crowd alive. Rhyno speared Spike and won, that was that. Not really a great match, and just a filler to me.

The Dudleys w/ Joel Gertner defeated Balls Mahoney & Axel Rotten

This match was hardcore, and nasty. There were a lot of unprotected head shots, lots of plunder, and another reason why maybe ECW wasn't all that great. There wasn't a whole lot of wrestling here, and just your average big man match with lots of weapons. It's a nice throwback, including tables and chairs and the likes, but come on, it wasn't all that great. Nice nostalgia piece at best, but it was just an ugly match. Oh and yes, they lit the table on fire and threw Balls Mahoney through it...yep.

Post match out came the Gangstas! New Jack and what I believe was Mustafa? Yep, New Jack was hitting anything that moved with stuff. I didn't care for this at all.

Raven defeated Tommy Dreamer w/ special guest referee Mick Foley

This match was terrible. It had a lot of slow points, lots of weapons. I believe LODI showed up or someone, I don't know. Some random dude hit a nice leg drop. The crowd started chanting Holy Shit at one point when Foley gave the mandible claw with barbed wire wrapped around his hand. I didn't hate it, but um...it was weird. raven handcuffed Tommy Dreamer, and thsi was a throwback to the chair shot heard round the world. This too was done by WWF with Mankind and The Rock...remember? Raven eventually won...but this match wasn't that great...I didn't like it. It was just pointless...whatever. Boring ass match. Beulah was there, that was cool.

RVD defeated SABU

Bill Alfonso at ringside

Sabu had his head shaved. RVD stalled a lot in this match to go outside and play up his older style. Maybe Sabu couldn't go that well, or maybe things were just not going well...I don't know. This match was slow moving and tired. Sabu and RVD did a nice match up for what it was, but it was painfully obvious that SABU is NOT in his prime and was having problems later in the match. A table finale after a string of extreme moves ended this one, and of course RVD goes over.

The show ended with a speech from Tommy Dreamer and a bunch of people in the ring.

Overall not the worst show ever, but it wasn't nearly as good as the ECW ppv's I actually did order back in the day. Oh well...I hope TNA made a few bucks or whatever was their plan for this, because it was an "ok" show at best.

Ugh...TNA started with a recap of last week and I was already tired of TNA. I've been doing a LOT of terrible wrestling and somehow, I have to deal with it all the time..nevermind, I was going to rant, but eh, no one cares.

The show opened up with the recap than went into Tommy Dreamer calling out Raven. He asked Raven why he beat up Dreamer.

The whole storyline is that Tommy Dreamer stole Raven's Girlfriend and that's it. He went on about how he was going to screw Dreamer's wife, and the two brawled on top of the stage while Abyss and RVD came out and wrestled. Foley came out with a barbed wire bat to the stomach.

Foley said that he was going to be the special guest referee for the night.

Is it just me or is Taz just phoning it in? He looked like he wasn't even trying tonight, and of course, he sucks.

I'm tired of this stuff...FIRE ALL THE TNA WRITERS!

Taylor Wilde & Hamada defeated The Beautiful People

I like Taylor Wilde, I think she'd be cool to hang out with and...uh...nevermind. Hamada can wrestle, so I was hoping for big things from this match for once. Lacey Von Erich is the WORST of the knockouts. No one could carry her, and Hamada was having a hard time wrestling a terribly rookie. Velvet Sky is my least favorite of the Beautiful People. The motorcycle woman came down and helped the beautiful people by giving lacey von erich a steel chair, but it was Taylor Wilde that kicked the chair into Von Erich and that was that. New champions!

AJ Styles defeated Rob Terry

The television title was defended here, and Styles was hitting hard, but not as hard as Terry. I like Terry, he's a nice counter what is now the standard "wrestling body" and a nice throwback to the 80's. Terry was throwing Aj Styles around like a rag doll, and it was good. After some cheating tactics the former World Champion hit the 450 Splash and won the match. Where is Orlando Jordan? I thought he was feuding with Rob Terry? Oh well.

The Motor City Machine Guns defeated Beer Money in an Destination X match

I didn't like this match. Yes, they put on quite a show, but come on! It's cookie cutter and you KNEW who was going to win. I'm sick of seeing this stupid crap. I'm tired of watching high spots and no psychology, and while I like both teams, I don't want to see them wrestle each week. At least not each other. I need something NEW! PLEASE!

Bischoff and Hogan came out and ran down the card for next week, which was boring. Out came Kevin Nash and beat up Hogan. That prompted Jeff Jarrett to come out and beat up Kevin Nash. That prompted STING to come out in Red Makeup and he used the bat on Jarrett. Sting hit Hogan in the head with a chair. Jarrett was knocked out. The announcers kept talking about how the Wolfpack is back, NWO WOLFPACK...I don't care...I'm sick of these storylines.

The Pope defeated Orlando Jordan

Orlando Jordan finally is getting a shot at wrestling, instead of just freaking everyone out. The Pope was fighting well, while Orlando Jordan was doing his normal weirdo wrestling moves. The Pope eventually got the upper hand thanks to Erik Young. Erik Young ran down to the ramp and started picking up all the money that dropped from the ceiling. The Dinero Express was hit and that was that, the Pope wins.

This makes no dang sense to me. Pope is a franchise TNA player and they could make him into a major ratings draw, but nope. Matt Morgan sneak attacked him and that prompted Anderson to run down to the ring with a chair, and that was that. I'm tired of TNA and their dumb writing, FIRE ALL THE TNA WRITERS!

Ric Flair defeated Jay Lethal

This was embarrassing. I can't believe that Lethal would for this. This is a spectacle. Flair and Lethal fought in a street fight. I kid you not. Lethal in Jeans and Flair in his suit gets completely dismembered. This was sad. Flair wrestled Lethal in his underwear at one point! YES! In his underwear! Flair was busted open and was bleeding like a stuck pig. Flair, with one shoe, one sock and his underwear was fighting what appeared to be a much smarter Lethal. Thanks to Douglas Williams knocking out Lethal, Flair wins, bleeding all over the ring all over Lethal, and wow...This is sad, but you know what? The 12 year old in me was marking out like crazy.

Raven & Abyss vs Rob Van Dam & Tommy Dreamer (no contest?)

This match was terrible. Dreamer can barely work with his bum knee. RVD was ok, and Abyss was ok. Raven was a non issue. The end of this match featured 1/2 of the old ECW roster come into the ring and start beating up Abyss. The Gore got stopped, and out came 3-D! They were ready to hit 3-D but out came Raven with a chair and stopped it all. I used to love Raven, but he just looks fat now. Bring back the normal hair and lose some weight!

The lights went out completely and in the ring was The SANDMAN! AKA HAK! SANDMAN went to town with the Kendo stick! Sandman hasn't aged a bit! SANDMAN IS IN TNA!!! BUT WHO CARES? FIRE ALL THE TNA WRITERS! FIRE ALL THE WHATEVER FIRE EVERYONE! SOMEONE PLEASE STOP THIS STUPIDITY!

The show ended with everyone in ring celebrating...I'm so sick of TNA right now...I'll have a Hardcore Justice review coming Monday...So tired.

TNA Impact 7/29/10 Results

Angelina Love defeated Sarita
Ink Inc defeated Orlando Jordan, a Mannequin and Erik Young
The Motor City Machine Guns defeated Beer Money in a steel cage match
Anderson & Hardy defeated Gunner, Murphy, and Matt Morgan
Rob Terry defeated kaz
Abyss defeated Tommy Dreamer in a hardcore match

TNA Impact 7/29/10 Review

The show started with Tommy Dreamer in ring with some other ECW alumni and they were talking about random crap. I don't know, but the crowd seemed to be going nuts for it.

Hogan came out and was for the whole ECW thing and then came out AByss to oppose them...I don't know, this whole thing was lame. Then the footage cut to backstage with the Beautiful People, and out of all of them, I like Madison Rayne best. Just sayin. There is a rift with them, and I'm not sure why they are continuing to build that team up.

Angelina Love defeated Sarita

I couldn't believe that we were seeing a throwback to the old Knockout division. This match had Sarita looking like a million bucks against Angelina Love. While the wrestling wasn't exactly the most technical in the world, the match did feature some greatness, and Sarita was starting to actually work and look good to me. Both as a wrestler and as a sexy woman...which is an odd thing to say, I know. That all being said, I don't like Angelina Love and her offense. Her head seems too big for her body and her fake boobs are ridiculous. She won this match after taking a large amount of offense, and I didn't care...at least there were some good points of interest.

Orlando Jordan and Erik Young are teaming up? What in the world? Lame. Who kidnapped SAMOA JOE???

Ink Inc defeated Orlando Jordan, a Mannequin and Erik Young

This was just a weird match up. Orlando jordan lost a squash match. Ink Inc beat up Orlando JOrdan and Erik Young brought a mannequin into the rin...and well, they tried to make it part of the match. I have no idea what the deal was, and it was just stupid to say the least. Erik Young is lame, fire him already.

Flair came out to introduce his new group and it seemed that beer Money was going to be the next two in the group. I don't know about you, but this whole thing sucked. The micwork sucks, and the group is taking a backseat to the ECW invasion, and I'm tired of the teasing and what not that has been part of this angle from the start. Aj Styles is ok, when he's not trying to imitate Flair. Kazarian sucks. Beer Money is good on their own, not with a group.

The Motor City Machine Guns defeated Beer Money in a steel cage match

THis match was your standard tag team match, only it was inside a steel cage. The best part about this match was that people were busted wide open! FINALLY SOME BLOOD! If you're going to have a cage match and the cage is going to act as a weapon, someone has to bleed. It doesn't have to be sick, but it adds a bit of flavor to the match that otherwise doesn't exist. As far as tag team steel cage matche sgo, there aren't a lot of them, but this one was definitely up to snuff. I liked it, and though it wasn't as great as the one that Steve Austin & Brian Pillman had againts Ricky Steamboat & Shane Douglas, this was definitely one of the best television matches I've seen in a long time. This thing went back and forth and I thought for sure Beer Money had it several times, and I thought for sure The Machine Guns were going over, but it took time and nearfalls and blood spilled, before this thing finally came to a close. With an accidental beer bottle to the head of the Robert Roode, this match was over with a nice ending to one of the best matches I've seen on free television in a long time.

Mr. Anderson and Matt Morgan brawled in ring with a mic. I liked this segment and it finally gave Morgan a dominant position against a more serious opponent. Jeff Hardy ran down to save Anerson from more abuse, and it lookedl ike Morgan is back to his giant status, although, he did get pummeled by Fat Ass Jeff Hardy.

Rob Terry defeated Kaz

A squash match that ended in twenty seconds...not sure why they had this match.

Anderson & Hardy defeated Gunner, Murphy, and Matt Morgan

Two security guys fought Anderson and Hardy? THis was just stupid to me, and I'm not sure what was the whole poitn of this. It was just another lame match, and Anderson and Hardy won, that's that. Morgan left the ring before anything crazy went down.

RVD and Abyss brawled and that prompted Tommy Dreamer to come out for a match.

Abyss defeated Tommy Dreamer in a hardcore match

Tommy Dreamer, for having a torn mcl, sure found a way to make it through a hardcore match with Abyss. I'm not sure why TNA made this the main event, and for the most part it was just Abyss getting the hell kicked out of him with a variety of weapons. Tommy didn't take a lot of punishment at first, but eventually (as I knew would happen) took some damage. Abyss sucks, but I guess this match wasn't the worst thing in the entire world, it just doesn't make sense to me why TNA would put so much effort into former ECW guys, especially now. Plus, I thought Dreamer wanted to retire? Whatever. The match eventually ended with Abyss slamming Dreamer into a barbed wire board, and that was that.

Raven ran down with a chair. Raven's fat now.

Raven then turned on Tommy Dreamer. He hit the EVenflow DDT on Tommy Dreamer and that was that...I guess.

TNA Impact 7/22/10 Results

Aj Styles defeated Rob Terry For the Global Title
Taylor Wilde & Angelina Love defeated Sarita & Madison Rayne
Kurt Angle defeated Super Mex
Jeff Hardy vs Samoa Joe fought to a time limit draw
Mr. Anderson defeated Matt Morgan
Beer Money defeated The Motor City Machine Guns in a street fight

TNA Impact 7/22/10 Review

The show opened up yet again with another promo of Abyss and it sucked. I hated it. It's stupid. ABYSS IS THE WORST TNA WRESTLER EVER! FIRE ALL THE TNA WRITERS FOR PROMOTING ABYSS!

FIRE ALL THE TNAWRITERS FOR THIS ECW invasion.....man, I'm so tired.

Extreme Invitation is the name of the show....I'm tired. Argh!

Aj Styles defeated Rob Terry For the Global Title

I know a lot of people hate Rob Terry, but I like him. I like that he's jacked and a freak. I like how others can really “bump” to his move set, which is really powerful. It's all run and gun not much else. I like it. Kaz was at ringside, and Styles was having a hard time with Terry early on. Terry was throwing AJ around quite well and I liked it. I like the throwback to simpler wrestling times with larger than life muscular wrestlers. Styles won after reversing a suplex and getting Kaz to hold Terry's leg. Not a bad ending, but not a great match up either. I liked it, it just wasn't insane.

Taylor Wilde & Angelina Love defeated Sarita & Madison Rayne

**Earl Hebner told Angelina Love that she was no longer the Knockouts Champion since they couldn't prove who was the one that interfered. No one cares about that title.

This match was interesting to me, only because I like Taylor Wilde...i'd “hit dat” if you know what I mean. Just sayin. Alright, this match was your standard match up featuring the women. It had less botches than usual, and there were a few nice spots. Sarita has some skills that's for sure, and the only highlight was seeing Sarita and Taylor Wilde try to put on some legit wrestling. I was hoping for a wardrobe malfunction, but oh well. Aneglina Love won this match, but it wasn't great.

Post match, the Motorcycle Rider showed up, helped the beautiful people and then left with Sarita, the Motorcycle girl and Taylor Wilde. Whatever.

Kurt Angle defeated Super Mex

Super Mex had this match won at several moments in the match. There were some sick moves shown here, and Hernandez looked really confident at different stages but out of nowhere Angle started to show signs of life. He hit the Angle Slam and this one looked like yet another win for Angle. Angle missed the moonsault which was interesting, and even though I knew who the winner would be, I was intrigued to see how much offense Hernandez got in before Angle squeeked by yet another ranked wrestler. Hernandez eventually tapped out to the Ankle Lock Submission.

Kevin Nash was in ring and wanted to talk to Jeff Jarrett. The two squared off with mic's in the ring.

Jeff Hardy vs Samoa Joe fought to a time limit draw

Samoa Joe was dominant for a good part of this match. For whatever reason, Jeff hardy continues to get put into ppv caliber match ups, but isn't given nearly enough time to make it interesting. Joe is interesting to watch, when there's a reason to, but right now, I don't care. WHO KIDNAPPED SAMOA JOE???? WHO KIDNAPPED HIM? I don't care. Hardy sucks. This match was half-speed for a lot of moments. Joe was able to maintain a good sense of in-ring presence and this match was given a time limit so it was interesting to see if the two were trying to just match the limit. The guys ended up fighting each other fast towards the end and they fought to a 15 limit draw.

I liked that they fought to a limit. That'll set up a future ppv match up, for sure.

Mr. Anderson defeated Matt Morgan

Mr. Anderson fought the near 7 footer in this match and looked like he was going down for the count. I thought for sure Morgan was going over here, but after a few minutes of Anderson playing hurt, he eventually hit the Mic Check and this thing was over.

Matt Morgan knocked out Anderson with the mic and bloodied him. Morgan sucks now.

Beer Money defeated The Motor City Machine Guns in a street fight

I'm sick of these two teams, I'm sorry. The guys brawled in a street fight match up and I liked it. I like street fights, so I went with it. The Machine Guns were fighting a good fight overall but beer Money stole the match after using the broken beer bottle and a super kick. I liked it. I liked several key big moves and tandem moves, alongside the cheating ways of Beer Money, now if only there were more teams to give the division a little more depth.

Dixie Carter was in ring with a mic and out came the former ECW guys and Mick Foley.

Dixie on the mic sucks....argh...the old-ass ecw guys are just old...it's kind of pathetic to see, just sayin. This was stupid, and I was yawning so hard...no one cares about these ecw guys, no one cares! Come on! FIRE ALL THE TNA WRITERS!

So, apparently there will be a one night stand? Or something? I don't know, the ending didn't make sense to me.

TNA Impact 7/15/10 Results

Sarita defeated Taylor Wilde in a hardcore match
Brian Kendrick defeated Doug Williams in an I Quit Match
Samoa Joe defeated Rob Terry & Desmond Wolfe in a triple threat match
Beer Money defeated The Motor City Machine Guns in a ladder match
Jeff Hardy defeated Jay Lethal

TNA Impact 7/15/10 Review

There were so many spoilers for this week's Impact that if you weren't careful You would miss the surprise. I managed to get minimal spoilers, but still found out that this show was going to be somewhat epic, epic if this was 2001.

A new Top 10 was announced and it was pretty obvious. Jeff Hardy and Abyss were #1 and #2, and I don't know why. I'm SO SICK OF ABYSS! PLEASE WRITE HIM OFF THE SHOW! HE IS THE WORST CHARACTER IN TNA! THERE IS NO REASON TO HAVE ABYSS ON TV OR IN TNA HE SUCKS, I HATE ABYSS, THERE I SAID IT, I HATE ABYSS!

The show started with the worst gimmick and character in pro-wrestling, and he brought a side of beef to the ring, and it was stupid. That's how people get diseases, throwing meat into the ring....ugh..I'm so tired of Abyss. Abyss started calling out RVD and what not, whatever, FU ABYSS.

Sarita defeated Taylor Wilde in a hardcore match

This match was stupid, the Knockouts were taking stupid mistakes and this match was not necessary. Sartia took some sick shots and whether they were intentional or not, the two women were hurting each other in a way that definitely was like the old ECW. This street fight was just not that great, and had the worst finish ever. Sarita choked out Taylor Wilde with a purse and that was that, Taylor Wilde apparently was out cold. What a terrible match, there's no need for it.

Brian Kendrick defeated Doug Williams in an I Quit Match

This was one of the worst x-division matches I've seen in a long time. Kendrick and Williams can work, but with limited time and a gimmick like an “I Quit” gimmick, they couldn't really do much. Kendrick eventually won with a cobra clutch, but not before he countered a few of Williams finishers. This fast match was non-title and got Williams to quit. Seriously, this rushed match was terrible, I have no idea why TNA books such terrible matches with NO time to execute anything memorable.

Big Sexy Kevin Nash came to ringside after the match was over and got on the mic. Nash chokeslammed Kendrick to hell, then got on the mic. Nash basically said he was going to take out the x-division. Before he could take out Kendrick further, out came Jeff Jarrett to talk to Nash. I'm not sure what was going on with this, but whatever, Nash and Jarrett going to feud? I don't understand the TNA wrtiers.

Samoa Joe defeated Rob Terry & Desmond Wolfe in a triple threat match

Magnus got into the broadcast booth. This triple threat match was catering to Rob Terry and his big moves. Joe and Desmond fought each other at times, but it was Terry that was getting a lot of the focus, at least early on. Joe and Terry fought against Desmond and working as a team instead of fighting each other. Samoa Joe got the win by making Desmond Wolfe tap out, and that was that. The belt wasn't on the line, but I guess this wasn't half bad. Samao Joe gave some props to Rob Terry and that was that.

WHY IS THERE A BEST OF FIVE TAG TEAM MATCH UP? WHY?????I HATE THIS I DO NOT WANT TO SEE The Motor City Machine Guns fight Beer Money five times!!!?!?! FIRE ALL THE TNA WRITERS ALL OF THEM!!!!

Beer Money defeated The Motor City Machine Guns in a ladder match

This match wasn't that great. Sure, it had a few moments and some nice quick moves and bumps, but it didn't matter to me. It's a best of 5! Who cares?!?! This is what happens when you don't have that many tag teams to make the division worthwhile. If you like high spots and fast paced wrestling, this match had that, but it didn't mean anything as it wasn't for the titles. Beer Money won after Sabin was hit in the head with a beer bottle.

Once again, I DO NOT WANT TO SEE A BEST OF FIVE WITH THESE TWO TEAMS!

The Pope D'Angelo Dinero defeated Matt Morgan

This fast match was a quick run through and had the Pope coming out on top against Matt Morgan. Morgan didn't just roll over either, but with limited time, a lot of this match just seemed rushed. Matt Morgan lost to the Pope's Codebreaker-esque finisher, and then got angry.

Post match Matt Morgan hit the Carbon Foot Print and was looking strong, after he had already lost against the pope. Mr. Anderson jumped into the ring and started taking out Matt Morgan. Anderson is going after Morgan now? Why? I guess.

The Beautiful People were arguing in ring, and Angelina Love came out and the group exchanged words. The Beautiful People seemed to be breaking up, and that's fine. Angelina Love was at the top of the ramp and was invited to fight....once again: FIRE ALL THE TNA WRITERS ALL OF THEM FIRE THEM! THIS WAS THE WORST, MOST ANNOYING SEGMENT OF TNA!

Angelina Love and Madison Rayne fought each other and that was that. The girl on the motorcycle showed up and beat up Angelina Love. Madison Rayne hit Angelina Love with a nic,e DDT on a steel chair, and I for once cared. The Mystery woman drove off and that was that. I still think that the TNA writers should be fired.

Jeff Hardy defeated Jay Lethal

This is somewhat of a dream match, just because both of these guys can turn on the wrestling quite well. This match was fast paced and featured some great high points, but it was painfually obvious that Lethal is in better shape. Hardy got sluggish towards the end of the match and was winded, his gut nearly falling out of his weird looking outfit. Jay Lethal managed to take most of the highlights in this match, at least in my view. I liked this match more than I would usually do, simply because of Lethal's quickness. Hardy won after the Swanton, ending the best TNA match I've seen since Kurt Angle defeated Amazing Red. If only more matches were like this one, maybe TNA would actually get more credibility. Sure, it wasn't the greatest match TNA has put on, but it was interesting enough to keep my attention.

Ric Flair was in ring and was announcing the first two members of Fortune, it was Kazarian and Aj Styles, but out came Desmond Wolfe. Desmond Wolfe on the mic was quite good, and though brief, was well worth the few seconds of air time. Abyss came down for whatever reason and Fortune ran out of the ring. Who cares about ABYSS? SERIOUSLY? WHY? THIS GUY SUCKS!

RVD was confronted by Abyss and RVD fought the big man quickly and took care of the big guy. Abyss overpowered the champ towards the end. This thing was getting bad, and right when Abyss was going to hit RVD with the nail bat, out came Mick Foley.

ECW INVADES TNA

Foley came out and the ECW rushed Abyss. The ECW guys invaded the ring and just beat up Abyss and the security guys. Out came the TNA locker room and they got beat up as well. This is the worst Invasion angle ever played out. Why would the TNA locker room clear out? What do they care if Abyss gets beat up?

D-Lo Brown was out there, Al Snow, RVD turned in this invasion too. Anyone that had anything to do with ECW was now on the ECW side of things.

As far as Invasions goes, the ECW invasion of TNA is completely stupid. The way it has played out for no apparent reason is just stupid. Getting Jeff Jarrett to come out to try and stop things was dumb, the Police showed up? Two officers showed up and that is supposed to calm the situation?

Dixie Carter got on the mic and started yelling for them to stop. Dixie said that she invited the ECW guys and she turned! DIXIE TURNED ON TNA!

STUPID STUPID STUPID STUPID! FIRE ALL THE TNA WRITERS FIRE THEM ALL!

Two invasion angles going on in wrestling at the same time? What is this 1999?

I'm sick of this crap. ARGH!
