WWE Hell In A Cell 2017 Results and Review The Big Leap From Shane

Shane Is Better Than Most of The Roster - Src wwe dot com
WWE Hell In A Cell 2017 Results came through Detroit, Michigan and there was not a lot of fanfare from me at first, but as the night wore on, I really got into the event and was hoping for great things. There were some dry spots, but overall, there were some good moments to discuss, so let’s go forward with the review of last night’s epic pay per view.

WWE Hell In A Cell 2017 Results and Review

Chad Gable and Shelton Benjamin defeated The Hype Bros

Well this is the end of the Hype Bros. Gable and Benjamin work like well oiled machines. The Hype Bros were just not in sync and it showed, and they ended up giving up some mistakes and losing this match. Gable and Benjamin are quite good, and it’ll be interesting to see how far they go, before they break up of course.

The Usos defeated The New Day in a Hell in the Cell Tag Title Match

Well, you’re not going to get a better match in the WWE than these guys beating the holy hell out of each other. This was brutal, on all levels. The four guys threw together a great match, and they kept beating the crap out of each other until The Usos took out hand cuffs and beat down Big E and Xavier. They landed stereo USO splashes with a chair on top of a New Day member and boom, they are the new champions. This was a great match, no complaints at all.

Randy Orton defeated Rusev

The burial of Rusev continues. Nothing to see here, kind of a boring match.

Baron Corbin defeated Aj Styles and Tye Dillinger

This was a 5 star match in my view. Dillinger put on a show and really made this match great. Styles was being thrown around a lot, but he threw down some great offense in his defeat, but it was Corbin that was able to get the win after knocking out Styles from the ring, and scooping up Tye Dillinger for his first major title.

Charlotte Flair defeated Natalya VIA DQ

This was bad. Flair ended up getting injured at one point, and it was bad. It was just awful, I can’t attest to this match being anything but boring, and a way to write off Flair from the show.

The Fashion Files

The fashion files are boring, sorry. This was lame.

Jinder Mahal defeated Nakamura

Well, the WWE Champion, the modern day MAJARAJA once again beat Nakamura in this title match. He did it clean too, as the Singh brothers were thrown out of the ringside area, and Jinder threw down his finisher for Nakamura to get buried. So much for sticks and stones eh?

Bobby Roode defeated Dolph Ziggler

A roll up. That’s it, a freakin roll up finish. Ugh.

Kevin Owens defeated Shane McMahon In A Hell In The Cell Match

This was nearly 40 minutes long and it was insane. This was a war. McMahon threw everything but the kitchen sink at Owens, and McMahon even jumped off the cage. The big story here was that Sami Zayn helped save Owens from his doom, as he pulled Owens from getting hit by McMahon. That was that, the end. This was one hell of a match, no pun intended.

WWE Monday Night Raw 5/3/2016 The New Era of McMahon Children

So the New Era is what they’re talking about now. So the show opened up with Shane and Stephanie McMahon cutting promos about what is going to go on tonight. Ugh, I’m not for this co-managerial role, so excuse me while I fall asleep on the floor. Kevin Owens interrupted, and good thing too, I don’t want to have so much talking in front of shows.

Cesaro came out and discussed the match from last night.

Here we go, the results and review of Monday Night Raw from 5/3/2016, HULU edition, since I don’t have cable.

Kevin Owens vs. Cesaro went to a no contest

This was a fun match to watch, but things tore down after The Miz jumped in to interfere. That brought out Sami Zayn as well and everyone brawled. This was supposed to showcase the number one contender for the Intercontentinal Title, but alas, no one was pickeed since the match got thrown out. Up until the interference, Cesaro had Owens’ number, it was grand. He truly is the Swiss Superman!

The New Day showed up which prompted The Vaudevillains to come out, as well as the Dudleys to cut promos. Amidst all of this, out came Big Cass, and the teams brawled. Enzo of course is recovering thanks to that concussion he suffered at the PPV, and then we get a commercial. BS.

This turned into a Teddy Long classic, Straight UP eight man tag match!

Big Cass and The New Day defeated The Dudley’s and The Vaudevillains

This was a great overall tag match, lots of back and forth action, good overall timing. Big Cass really made the difference here, and the crowd was all over the match. The New Day was crisp, The Dudleys and Vaudevillains did some great work, but it’s Big Cass that gets the feel good pin after the East River Crossing, no complaints here.

So all the SMARK websites were wrong. Jericho showed up to reclaim the hosting duties of the Highlight Reel! The Ambrose Asylum was cancelled by Stephanie McMahon, simple as that. Raw, even in the 90 minute run down is perhaps one of the most boring 90 minutes of the week. This is a terrible show so far. Dean Ambrose and Jericho fought each other, I don’t care, you don’t care, let’s get a sandwich. Jericho hit Ambrose with “mitch” and that was that.

Rusev won a battle royal to determine the Number 1 Contender For The U.S. Title

This was ok, but honestly, I’m tired of seeing the “big man” versus “small man” matches Kalisto gets stuck in. Oh well. Word on the street is that Ryback was sent home, maybe even fired. The final four included The League of Nations, which was a nice touch, but it was all over when Zack Ryder got thrown out after a nice comeback. That’s the end, oh well. I wouldn’t doubt if Rusev wins the title again, and then goes on a tear as the U.S. Champion. Or maybe John Cena will come back and get the title and do those open challenges, which were a blast to see.

Natalya interrupted Ric and Charlotte Flair after they boasted about Little Naich screwing over Natalya. Natalya put Ric in a sharpshooter, and later it was announced that the two will wrestle in a submission match for the Women’s Championship.

Now, where are the other women? What happened to the “diva’s revolution”, is the division just 2 women? If you’re watching the HULU feed, yep. Just 2 women.

Aj Styles and The Bullet Club defeated Roman Reigns and The Usos

This wasn’t half bad. Lots of action, great overall back and forth, but the real story was at the end. The Bullet Club wanted Aj to hit Reigns with a chair, but he wouldn’t do it. However, the Usos took advantage and that allowed Reigns to beat down Styles. Not half bad, not great, it seems like Raw is back to business.

WWE Monday Night Raw 4/12/2016 Results and Review Shane McMahon Running Things

This is a review of the HULU version of Monday Night Raw. It was Shane McMahon’s second time running the show, and it’s quite interesting to see him out and setting up matches, etc. I liked it. He announced a tag team tournament, and a first match with Cesaro and Owens. Holy Crap! Let’s get into the review. Image SRC WWE.com

WWE Monday Night Raw 4/12/2016 Review

Cesaro defeated Kevin Owens

Owens was supposed to get a title shot if he could defeat Cesaro. Well, Cesaro and Owens put on a high caliber match up. It was fun. Cesaro’s corkscrew elbow was a marvelous thing, if you saw it. Holy crap was that good! Cesaro and Owens, wow, what a Raw match up. I loved it.

The Dudleys defeated The Lucha Dragons

I forecast that The Dudleys will wrestle Enzo and Cass. As for this, a standard tag affair, with a few good spots, and overall interesting elements. I liked it.

Kevin Owens getting thrown out of the building was grand. I loved it.

Roman Reigns getting booed was loud on Raw, the WWE didn’t edit the Audio for Hulu that’s for sure.

Natalya defeated Charlotte by DQ

This wasn’t half bad, I liked it. But again, Charlotte got to keep the title, because Flair got involved.

The Usos defated The Social Outcasts

This match was boring, but it got really exciting when Carl Anderson and Luke Gallows AKA The Bullet Club came out and beat the crap out of the USOS!

Aj Styles defeated sami Zayn

Holy crap! This was a stellar match up. The spots you’d expect occurred, with Zayn getting some great shots at Styles. However, it was Styles that was able to reverse things and make it out alive in this one. Zayn is quite the worker, and Styles is great in ring here. I’ve been impressed thus far with his WWE run.

The Highlight Reel turned into The Ambrose Asylum. Jericho and Ambrose will be fighting soon, this was ok, I guess.

Bray Wyatt and Roman Reigns defeated The League of Nations

This was a mediocre match, and I didn’t care about it. Another tag team main event? Bray and Roman win, I went back to bed, you hated it, I didn’t think it was great, another waste. SOS if you ask me. Shane running things or not.

WWE Monday Night Raw 12/28/2015 Review Vince McMahon Goes To Jail

Once again, I had to fight myself to stay awake for this showcase. I am reviewing the Hulu edition while I still have Hulu, as I may not have it after January 6, but we will see what happens. That being said, this week’s Raw came through and well, it was a lot of…well…crap. I want to be optimistic, so maybe I shouldn’t dismiss it so fast, but let’s get into it and see what went down and why the end of 2015 for WWE is ending with a whimper instead of a bang.

Vince McMahon Goes To Jail

Up front, Vinnie Mac called out Roman Reigns, and that led to Stephanie McMahon coming out. This whole starting point went to start a storyline in which Vince McMahon was arrested by the police, and Stephanie was screaming about it, while her music played. Yes, the music was playing here. Oh man. Anyways, Roman Reigns stood tall as Vinnie Mac went to jail.

Neville defeated Kevin Owens

Kevin Owens lost this match in less than 20 seconds or so. This was a waste of talent. Afterwards Owens went nuts and beat up Neville around the ring. But who cares, right? This was a waste to me. I don’t think Owens needs to be established as a crazed, fighter, because we already know he’s good. What a waste of Neville and Owens.

Sasha Banks defeated Becky Lynch

Well, this was a surprise. It didn’t last long, but Lynch and Banks actually put on a good wrestling match. There were some slow spots, and it was obvious that they weren’t going to be allowed a lot of time. The rushed finish aside, this wasn’t half bad. Banks is such a good performer, and Banks, well she’s losing so much I smell a heel turn. This is ok, but nowhere near what you see in NXT.

Kalisto defeated Kofi Kingston

This was a fast paced match, as you’d expect. However, this is where I started to fall asleep. New Day did their thing on the mic, but the Lucha Dragons don’t have much personality, and despite their in ring work, it’s not as entertaining as WCW or ECW’s lucha division stuff. WWE just doesn’t know how to book good action within the scope of lucha style, so the mix kind of falls flat if you ask me.

Big E defeated Sin Cara

Screw it. Sin Cara sucks. He dislocated his shoulder and it looked like he was going to quit, like the other Sin Cara did. This was stupid. The shoulder aside, it seemed to be ok enough to finish the match, but still. This threw me out of the match. Big E is good, but come on, the whole “my shoulder!” thing just played terribly. WWE should fire Sin Cara, and Kalisto. They should get a better shake in Mexico. Man, I miss WCW and ECW right now.

Big Show Is the Number 1 Entrant in the Rumble, and I don’t care. I hate Big Slow.

Ryback defeated Big Show via count out

Who cares.

The League of Nations defeated Dean Ambrose and The Usos

I fell asleep on this one. I’m tired of six man tag team matches. How did the Usos win the slammy for the tag team of the year? I don’t know, this was just boring to me. Ambrose is ok, but man, the six man tag thing is just tiresome.

John Cena defeated Alberto Del Rio via DQ

I’m so hoping for a John Cena heel turn that this match seemed boring to me. Then again, I didn’t see it, since I was passed out. Oh well.

That was the end of that. WWE really took a dump on any momentum they had last week to this week. Then again, they didn’t have momentum after the terrible Slammy Awards debacle. I am trying to be positive about wrestling, but with shows like this one, it’s very hard to do so.

WWE TLC 2015 Results and Review Stone Cold Roman Reigns

Roman Reigns Lost, But Beat The Hell Out of Sheamus - SRC WWE.Com
WWE TLC ran through PPV and the WWE Network last night, and I haven’t been so excited to see a show in a long time. Albeit, I wasn’t too thrilled before the show, but when it came time for the lights to dim and the curtains to open on the showcase, I was ready with a large pizza and a bottle of whiskey to wash it down. I can truly say that this was the best PPV of 2015 in my opinion. You may not get that from several podcasts that recapped the show. Especially the shows like Wrestling Soup, which took a dump on a lot of the shows main pieces. Why even watch or do a podcast if you don’t even like what you’re watching? Whatever, lots of negativity out there, but I remain positive, because I loved the show, and that’s that. Here’s a few of my thoughts coming out of the show.

WWE Smackdown 12/3/2015 Results and Review The Roman Empire Solo Project

WWE Roman Reigns vs. League of Nations - Source WWE.COM
WWE Smackdown 12/3/2015 Results

Tyler Breeze defeated Neville
Brie Bella defeated Becky Lynch via disqualification
New Day defeated Usos and Dean Ambrose
Bray Wyatt defeated Devon Dudley
Roman Reigns defeated The League of Nations via count out

WWE Smackdown 12/3/2015 Review

There was a lot of talking up front. The whole show was set up with Roman Reigns talking and the League of Nations coming out and setting up matches. Roman Reigns would take on the League if the tag match with his friends against the New Day went well. Otherwise, it was going to be Reigns against the League solo. Guess what happened?

Tyler Breeze defeated Neville

Tyler Breeze took on Neville in this one. Neville delivered a good amount of offense in this match against Tyler Breeze. Breeze is improving, but the narcissus gimmick is a bit tired for me. On the merits of the match alone, I liked it. Neville is a great performer, and Breeze used Summer Rae to ensure he got a quick win and distraction.

Brie Bella defeated Becky Lynch via disqualification

Brie Mode was all in with this match up. Lynch had Charlotte outside rooting her on. Becky Lynch lost, but only after Brie hit Charlotte and Charlotte jumped into the match to fight her. Lynch and Charlotte have another wedge between them, and it continues to build.

New Day defeated Usos and Dean Ambrose

The New Day usually gets cheered right? Well, I couldn’t help but noticed that there was a lot of piped in booing, which was definitely odd to me. Oh well. New Day got the win here as the numbers game started to rise up. They targeted one of the Usos injury, and that was that. This would set up the main event handicap match. Overall, however, this was a fast paced, fun match with the New Day winning over the team of the Usos and Ambrose.

Bray Wyatt defeated Devon Dudley

Before this match, the lights went out. When the lights came back on it was R Truth waving hello at people. Then the lights went out again and out came the Wyatt family. Devon still has it, he was able to hold his own against Wyatt. Wyatt of course gets the win to make it seem like he’s strong. After the match up, things went south and the Dudleys got beat down with Tommy Dreamer going through a table. Sad.

Roman Reigns defeated The League of Nations via count out

Ok, here we go. The main event was great. I loved it. People online were complaining because they read the spoilers, and it was dumb. No, Roman didn’t go over clean. He outsmarted the League this time around, and didn’t go the Super Cena route.

King Barrett got himself disqualified so he had to leave the ring. Roman Reigns was able to mount some offense and things spilled out to the outside. Then the count started, and Roman was able to get inside the ring before the 10 count finished and won via count out. He didn’t pin anyone, the League didn’t go down weak, it was a technical win, and that’s it. Afterwards there was a brawl and the two factions fought and that’s it.

Overall, Smackdown was great for me. I liked the wrestling here. Dolph Ziggler on commentary was fun. Smackdown had some good wrestling, and Reigns definitely is doing better, even if he’s taking a beat down. If you’re not watching Smackdown, you’re missing out on some good wrestling. I liked it. I really did. I guess I’m weird.

WWE Monday Night Raw 11/30/2015 Results and Review Sheamus 515

New Day and League of Nations - SRC WWE.COM
WWE Monday Night Raw 11/30/2015 Results (HULU EDITION)

Dolph Ziggler defeated Tyler Breeze
Ryback defeated Rusev via countout
Tommy Dreamer returned!
Lucha Dragon and The USOS went to double disqualification
Roman Reigns defeated Sheamus in a WWE Title Match via Disqualification
Charlotte defeated Becky Lynch
The League of Nations and The New Day defeated Dean Ambrose, Roman Reigns, and The USOS

WWE Monday Night Raw 11/30/2015 Review

The opening of Raw was great. What can I say? The New Day showcased an introduction for Sheamus, and I was enjoying it. I don’t mind Sheamus as champion. I get it. I liked the slicked back Mohawk, and the rant he went on, right before Roman Reigns showed up and knocked him out, then stealing the title. The Sheamus 5:15 line really had me laughing. Classic. It set up a match for later, in which Roman Reigns must defeat Sheamus under 5 minutes and 15 seconds, or he will lose his title shot and Dean Ambrose will lose his Intercontinental Title shot. Not bad. But I wonder why they would book this, but alas, I’m going positive. Furthermore, the USOS and the Lucha Dragons would get a title shot at TLC if Roman Reigns won. If they didn’t, they’d lose their chance.

Dolph Ziggler defeated Tyler Breeze

At this point, are all NXT guys just going to get buried? Ziggler is always fun to watch, but he’s lost so much momentum since that big Survivor Series match he put on with the “sole” survivor thing. Oh well.

Ryback defeated Rusev via countout

This was actually getting good before Lana got hurt. Oh, Miz TV happened, but meh, that wasn’t good. As for this match, Ryback’s mid-rope dropkick was outstanding. I loved that. The dropkick was precise, on the money, and the big guy showed a bit of athleticism. I liked that a lot. Ryback wins after Rusev after Lana seemed to have gotten hurt. Good match, not so great ending in my view.

The Dudley Boyz called out the Wyatt Family. I marked out huge for this next moment.

TOMMY DREAMER walked out with a trash can and some plunder! Dreamer got me shouting at the television, and this was awesome! ECW chant blew up the arena, and I was chanting E C DUB! Dreamer and the Dudley Boyz! The Wyatt’s are perhaps the weakest team in WWE, but I would love to see them mix it up with the Dudleys. Tommy Dreamer is a great addition to this feud in my opinion and I’m hoping for good things for TLC.

Roman Reigns defeated Sheamus in a WWE Title Match via Disqualification

This was a cool, fast paced match, however, the ending was telegraphed. Sheamus had his cronies interfere and while Roman won, he didn’t win the title. That’s the end of that. Sheamus said that his friends are now the League of Nations team.

Charlotte defeated Becky Lynch

So much for that divas revolution right? Distraction roll up? Wow. Well, this match went nowhere, it was a stalemate for the most part, until the distraction roll up thanks to Ric Flair and Charlotte pretending to be hurt. Oh well. The two are very athletic, it was an ok match, but it certainly wasn’t anywhere near as good as the NXT matches they’ve put through.

The League of Nations and The New Day defeated Dean Ambrose, Roman Reigns, and The USOS

This was quite the match. 7 on 4 and this match had a lot of hits. I didn’t mind it much, it was fast. Ambrose was like a house on fire with the hot tag towards the end, and he’s definitely smooth through the moves he puts on. The showcase of technical skill aside, the match was a good overall match. The bad guys really got the upper hand here. The Bro kick (I’ll never call it the “Brogue), was very well timed for Sheamus to win. This was a cool overall finish, if you ask me. They are doing well with building up Roman to lose at TLC if you ask me.

If I were booking, I would have Roman lose at TLC tahnks to the heels, then have him lose at Royal Rumble, and then go against Triple H at Wrestlemania, before he gets another shot at the title ,but of course, he’ll run into a suplex machine known as Brock Lesnar before that happens. Overall, a good raw if you ask me, but then again, you didn’t ask, and I saw it on HULU so I only got 90 minutes of it.

WWE Monday Night Raw 10/27 Review - Super Cena Still Alive

Src WWE.com
Make this two in a row for the Mexican. I saw Raw on HULU and while it’s not 100% the same, it is better than nothing at all, since the alternative is in fact nothing at all. I’m still trudging through WCW Spring Stamped 1998, and I swear it’s better than most of the WWE offerings today.

Up front, my favorite highlight was Randy Orton’s RKO from out of nowhere. “I’ll calm down when he’s dead” was a great line, and the RKO reminded me of how grand DDP was/is. The RKO looked great, and Triple H looked seriously mad. Speaking of which, Stephanie McMahon is one hot Milf, yeah I said it. Good for you Triple H.

Goldust and Stardust defeated Mark Henry and Big Show

BORING! I telegraphed that turn for Henry, and no one wants to see them feud. I don’t, you don’t, I’m sick of it. The match was ok at best, but it was obviously something bad.

Aj Lee defeated Alicia Fox

This wasn’t part of the HULU showcase, so I don’t know what happened in the match itself. It sounds boring.

John Cena rejecting to be part of the Triple H crew was a nice touch. However, look for a HEEL turn finally at Survivor Series. I wouldn’t be surprised if we finally get that turn we’ve all been pining for from Cena. I hope and pray that it happens at Survivor Series.

The Usos defeated The Miz and Damien Mizdow

This didn’t air on Hulu, but I am going to say that it sucked anyways.

Ryback defeated Bo Dallas

I still BOLIEVE!

Dean Ambrose vs. Cesaro (No Contest)

This was ok I guess. Ambrose beat up Cesaro with a microphone, and that was that.

Naomi defeated Nikki Bella

This wasn’t terrible, but I was having an issue with Paypal so I was on the phone at the same time.

Dolph Ziggler defeated Kane

This match started because Ziggler may be one of the members of Team Cena at Survivor Series, which may be nice, but we’ll see what happens. This match was ok at best, Kane is looking tired and old. I’ve never liked him, so that doesn’t help. Ziggler is solid as ever, give the guy the title already.

John Cena defeated Seth Rollins

This match was solid, and really well placed. Seth Rollins is gold out there, and Cena definitely works well with just about anyone. The match was broken up at the end, when Kane interfered and it just foiled a really good match. Overall, I don’t hate the idea of Cena turning or winning later on, but Rollins is definitely going to go far if he keeps it up, and that’s what matters here.

Raw on HULU was good, I have no complaints other than perhaps there was too much talking and not enough wrestling, but that’s expected from the WWE these days. That’s my reviews for now, and of course I’ll do more if I watch more, but as it stands, Raw and the PPV get enough gusto for the site. I may see Smackdown too, but we’ll see what happens. If you’re still out there, drop me a line tell me your thoughts, and please, help support the site by using the amazon links wherever you see them.

WWE Raw 1/17/11 Results

Santino & Kozlov defeated The USOS
John Morrison defeated Daniel Bryan
Randy Orton defeated Dolph Ziggler
Natalya defeated Maryse
Mark Henry won a battle royal
Cm Punk defeated John Cena via dq

WWE Raw 1/17/11 Review

The show started with John Cena coming back to take the mic and get the crowd going. They are completely nuts for him, which is good and bad.

Cena got on the mic and it was interesting enough, and then Miz came out and helped antagonize the Miz. That prompted CM Punk and Nexus to come down and try to beat up Cena, but that prompted the tag champs to run down and beat up Nexus.

We found out via the general manager that Nexus can't interfere in the match later tonight.

We then got a tag team title match that we've seen one hundred times before.

Santino & Kozlov defeated The USOS

This was a quick match up with predictable moments, and an ending that we've seen before. Santino hit the Cobra and it was done. The tag champs retain the titles.

John Morrison defeated Daniel Bryan

A good, albeit short, match between these two. There were some great back and forth moments in this match, but nothing too complicated. Morrison looked like he was going to lose this one with Bryan nearly getting his finishing submission, but Morrison was able to squeeze out a victory by knocking out bryan with a knee to the chin. A fast match, a good quality television match up, but it did nothing for either man.

Randy Orton defeated Dolph Ziggler

This match was interesting, and further exposed the fact that there is NO need for a brand split. Ortonw as all over Ziggler, and it was painfully obvious that Orton was going over, at least to me. Ziggler took some shots though, and it wasn't all "Viper". Ziggler held his own against Orton and was actually moving forward at one point to reversing what my original thought was. Ziggler has been on top of his game for a while, and it was nice to see him interact with the main event talent of Raw. Ziggler had this one sewn up but out of nowhere Orton hit an RKO and that was the end of that.

Post match, within moments of the 3 count, The Miz and Alex Riley hit the ring and beat the snot out of Randy Orton.

Natalya defeated Maryse

This was an easy match for Natalya. Maryse didn't even get much offense in.

Mark Henry won a Battle Royal

There was a small sized Battle Royal and it seemed like Henry was an unstoppable force. He is being billed as the guy that will win the Rumble, but of course he won't win.

Alberto Del Rio came out and cut a promo about how he's going to win the Rumble.

Cm Punk defeated John Cena via dq

This match had main event feel all over it, and it was interesting on paper. Cena started this match with a lot of momentum, and I was impressed to see how much weight Punk has lost. He's a slimmer punk, and dare I say, faster? He's lost some tone for sure, and it definitely looks like he's a shell of his former self, which isn't a bad thing. This match was amazing, it seriously was looking to be one of the better matches in Raw history, and even though Cena's offense was dated, it didn't matter. It absolutely didn't matter, because Punk was given some good timing and great amount of motions to work through.

The match got odd, when a guy that looked a lot like a younger Batista showed up and decked Punk. I kid you not, this guy was as big as Batista if not bigger, and he decked Punk, in a very odd moment.

The match was thrown out, I guess Cena loses via dq? I don't know. Then Nexus runs down and wow...I like this, as the new Nexus is now bigger than ever.

This is an insane ending, I'm not even sure what to say. If you missed it, you really did in fact miss it.

WWE Superstars 1/13/10 REsults

Chris Masters & JTG defeated Chavo Guerrero & Curt Hawkins
Gail Kim defeated Alicia Fox
Primo, Darren Young, DH Smith, and Yoshi Tatsu defeated The Usos, William Regal, and Zack Ryder

WWE Superstars 1/13/10 Review

Chris Masters & JTG defeated Chavo Guerrero & Curt Hawkins

If I saw this match live, I would mark out huge, but on tv? This is not a great match to watch. IT had a lot of slow downs and not too much action. JTG was able to liven up the mood, and Hawkins can bump, but Masters and Chavo made this one slower than I'd like it to be. The match would eventually end with realitive ease from Masters.

Gail Kim defeated Alicia Fox

This was the most exciting divas match I've seen in a long time. There were a few major hits, but it was all Gail Kim in this one. I loved it. Her missile drop kick is picture perfect and I'm amazed that the divas don't get more quality matches like this. Gail Kim wins, and that's the end of that.

Primo, Darren Young, DH Smith, and Yoshi Tatsu defeated The Usos, William Regal, and Zack Ryder

This match wasn't half bad, it had a lot of back and forth action, a lot of quick tags, and quality moments to watch. The match went for a good amount of time, and it was interesting to see this unfold. After a good amount of time, the ring cleared and left Zack Ryder and Yoshi Tatsu alone in the ring, which would end in predictable fashion...Tatsu knocks out Ryder and that is the end of that.

Alright, a New Year, a new Raw and a continuation of the stories we started last year. Raw opened up with a recap of Nexus beatin gdown John Cena and CM Punk becoming the leader of Nexus. I liked it a lot, and one thing that I've always said, WWE can create some of the most compelling videos. I always wanted to work there, and even went to school and have a degree for it, but alas, no job, no response, and still trying to make a few cents here, none of which is happening, because no one is buying via the amazon links. Oh well.

Michael Cole opened up and told us that John Cena was injured. He then run down the night, old school style, before the intro came in. I hat how the intro is Nickelback...I hate it.

The Miz defeated John Morrison in a Falls Count Anywhere Match

This match started very fast with Morrison and Miz fighting on the ramp and Morrison going nuts flying off the top of a high WWE sign on the top of the ramp. This high spot really was nice to look at, but had disaster written all over it, had he missed. Morrison had this match going well for himself with heavy hitting offense, and lots of great spots, perfectly executed. He even had this thing won at one point, but Alex Riley interfered and The Miz was able to recover. After the commercial, Morrison went through a guard rail as the Miz backflipped him near the ramp and stage. Morrison hit Starship Pain and had the Miz completely knocked out, but somehow, someway The Miz kicked out! I marked out huge, because I didn't know if Miz could survive much more, and Morrison had this thing completely won. Miz rolled up Morrison and the match continued, but Morrison kept his onslaught of offense. There was a table outside, and this thing was bound to get messy in a heartbeat, as Morrison continued to set up Miz. Morrison went for Starship Pain off the top rope to the outside, and MISSED! Morrison went solo through a table, Miz rolled out of the way, and this thing was over...so I thought. MOrrison was able to kick out at 2, which was insane, there's no way, this match was seriously becoming match of the year, and it was only the first match of 2011. The Skull Crushing Finale was hit on the floor and The Miz won this match up! Holy crap, Miz won a war here, and wow, best match I've seen in a long time. If you missed it, go watch it somehow. Miz and Morrison put on a 3 to 4 star classic and Morrison looked halfway dead...what a match up. Wow, just wow. This was a ppv caliber match up folks.

Natalya, Eve, Brie Bella defeated Maryse, Alicia Fox, and Melina

I'm tired of seeing the same 6 women wrestle in WWE. I used to love the TNA knockout's division because they had a stable of women that out numbered the WWE divas, but alas, here are the same six women that I've seen wrestle every week, in the same six person tag match. I'm so sick of the WWE divas. This match sucked, it had a few minor moments to see, but overall, this was just a tired match up. Eve got the pin with a neckbreaker.

Santino & Kozlov defeated The Usos

I've already seen this match twenty times before, but this time, the Usos actually won. This match was ok at best, but it was Kozlov and Santino that got the last laugh. The match up had the Usos taking a lot of bumps and giving off most of the offense. The Cobra was the team's downfall, but eh, we got a double cobra at the end of the match. This was a comedy match up, which was just hilarious.

CM Punk cut a nice heel promo, but out came Wade Barrett. This should get really interesting, especially since Wade claimed he injured Cena at a house show. The two argued in the ring, and Wade commanded NExUS to come out, and that's when they came out. This got interesting, but I was thinking that Nexus would be beating up Wade here. I'm still the only one that thinks The Black John Cena should return.

Nexus, with Otunga taking the mic, talked about how they need a new leader. But before anyone could say anything else, the Raw General manager chimed in. The general manager said that there would be a Steel Cage match later tonight. Wade Barrett agreed that if he lossed in a cage match later in the show, he'd leave Nexus and let Cm Punk lead.

Alberto Del Rio defeated R Truth

Once again, this match proves a few things. It proved that Del Rio is a top contender and should get a title shot if not the world title soon. He also proved that there is no NEED to have a brand split, there is just no reason. Del Rio worked on Truth's arm for the match, putting on a great technical showcase, and entertaining process. Truth couldn't get into this match, and he's just recovering from sickness, and well, couldn't master the Mexican anti-hero. I hope Del Rio gets a title soon, I like him. I'm an Alberto Del Rio fan for sure.

Randy Orton defeated Wade Barrett and Sheamus in a #1 Contenders Steel Cage Triple Threat Match

I hate the new era of cage matches. The ref in the ring, the lack of blue steel, it just looks stupid. This match was hard hitting and featured a lot of power moves. The three battled it out, and it was nice to see it get some time, as all the members hit hard and were telling a story which I couldn't pinpoint the winner. Mid point, Barrett was climbing out of the ring and Cm Punk ran down, but betrayed him, costing him the match up. Sheamus hit the "bro" kick on Barrett and turned only to get an RKO knocking him completely out. Orton then simply walked out and will now get a shot at The Miz at the Royal Rumble. Another Miz Orton match? I'm bored already.

I'm surprised that Miz didn't run down and knock the door closed, hitting Orton and causin him to lose the match, because he doesn't want to face him. That would made for higher drama, but it didn't happen here.

Punk betraying Barrett was a nice touch, and one that I didn't really see coming necessarily. Sheamus losing, well, I guess that's ok.

Overall a good Raw, and a great night of wrestling. I'm excited to see what's coming down the pipeline as it seems that we're moving into a better era of wrestling, but we'll see what happens in the coming weeks, as things could turn sour fast.

WWE Superstars 12/23/10 Results and Review

WWE Superstars 12/23/10 Results

DH Smith defeated Zack Ryder
The USO Brothers defeated Yoshi Tatsu & Darren Young
Kelly Kelly & Beth Phoenix defeated Laycool

WWE Superstars 12/23/10 Review

This has been one hell of a week for wrestling fans, and today we'll have 2 reviews one of this show and one of Impact, followed by a Christmas edition of this week in Wrestling. I was excited to have something to do as everyone else was working or asleep on Christmas eve. I for one haven't had a job in 16 months, and don't have a Christmas tree or presents, nevermind.

Zack Ryder came out to a chorus of boos and it was hilarious. Scott Stanford and Jerry Lawler were on commentary, and aren't half bad.

DH Smith defeated Zack Ryder

DH Smith sucks. I'm just going to say it here, he has NO major charisma at this point and neither does Tyson Kidd. He might be a legacy but he's no British Bulldog. This match could've been a four star classic, but only because Zack Ryder has an over the top character. This was a very solid match up, evenly matched and not half bad. However, it wasn't until the end did I get impressed. DH Smith hit a nice Saito Suplex to put DH Smith out, and it was picture perfect. Zack needs to be on the main roster, his character draws so much heat, oh well. DH Smith wins, I think he sucks, this match wasn't terrible.

Is anyone watching NXT? I'm not.

The USO Brothers defeated Yoshi Tatsu & Darren Young

This was probably one of the worst tag team matches I've seen in a long time. The USOS worked very well as a team and Young & Tatsu just weren't very good in ring. The match wasn't too long and it was just a job match. I still think Darren Young's "I'm the missing link" was awesome, but it's been a long time since then.

Kelly Kelly & Beth Phoenix defeated Laycool

The divas main evented this night of wrestling and it wasn't too terrible. I didn't think it was as good as this past weekend's match, but the women put on a good show for the live crowd and us at home. There was a lot of back and forth action, and it wasn't until Beth Phoenix took control towards the end where this match really got good. Phoenix is so good, and she was able to get a lot of good offense in before Michelle McCool stormed the ring to save Layla. Layla got hit by McCool on accident and Phoenix hit her GlamSlam and won the match up for her team. Laycool was put to rest in this one, and it was very impressive. The divas can really put on a good wrestling show when they are given time. Even the crowd agreed.

This night of Superstars wasn't terrible, it was a good overall match up and something that I enjoyed. Hopefully you liked it if you saw it, and if not, check it out sometime, there's actually good wrestling on the show from time to time.

Whether you hate John Cena or Love John Cena, you're going to probably want to check out The John Cena Experience 3 DISC DVD set or the BLU RAY High Definition John Cena Experience. The set contains 16 matches from all over Cena's career but most importantly goes behind the scenes of his life to show you just how much effort he puts into working for the WWE. The commercial was quite interesting and the set looks like something you'd want to pick up. If you're interested in the John Cena Experience click here to purchase it for cheap, it helps this blog continue and hopefully gets me an internet connection at home, because right now I'm using the old library in my town.

Thanks for reading! Leave comments, send emails my way, and subscribe to the RSS FEED right here, as we head into another great year of wrestling.

WWE Superstars 11/25/10 Results and Review

WWE Superstars 11/25/10 Results

Curt Hawkins defeated Trent Barretta
Santino & Kozlov defeated Primo & Zack Ryder
Mark Henry defeated The Usos

WWE Superstars 11/25/10 Review

I'm not a big fan of thanksgiving, so therefore, I watched wrestling last night. Plus, with no job, no prospects, and fighting depression, i've been a bit tired of the joyful cheer of the season that is coming.

Superstars aired on Thanksgiving, and wow...maybe I already saw all this, or maybe it's new...who knows...the dubbed in heat and cheers suck.

Curt Hawkins defeated Trent Barretta

This match had a lot of highlights and good overall spots. I liked it, I thought this match was in fact the most entertaining thing I've seen in a while. However, despite a great deal of high impact spots, and good overall wrestling, it had no meaning and no real story behind it, other than the rematch thing. I liked it, it is nice to see some good classic wrestling.

Santino & Kozlov defeated Primo & Zack Ryder

I liked that Zack Ryder was being used for a match, but it was all a job. Santino and Kozlov get the win and the good crowd reaction. The Cobra is the thing that knocked out Primo, and he took the pinfall here. I wouldn't be too surprised if Santino and Kozlov eventually get the tag team championships, because they are just that entertaining, and get a real reaction, more so than the current champions, that's for sure.

Mark Henry defeated The Usos

The Usos put on a few moves, but it was no match for Mark Henry. Mark Henry beat the former contenders for the Tag team titles, and it was interesting to see that Henry is being pushed to squash the tag division. The match was what you would expect, but hey, on Thanksgiving day, it's nice to get some wrestling.

All in all, not a terrible show, not a great one either, I liked it enough. Good overall wrestling, nothing too extreme, and well, it's thanksgiving, what did you expect? I'll have an impact review a little later in the day.

WWE Monday Night Raw 11/8/10 Results and Review

WWE Monday Night Raw 11/8/10 Results

The Bellas & Eve defeated The Other Divas
The Usos defeated The Hart Dynasty
Goldust defeated Ted Dibiase
John Cena defeated David Otunga
Sheamus vs. Santino (no contest)
Nexus defeated Team Raw w/ John Cena as a special guest referee

WWE Monday Night Raw 11/8/10 Review

The night opened up with John Cena reading some sort of declaration. Then Wade Barrett and the rest of the Nexus showed up and Wade Barrett talked to David Otunga about Smackdown's loss.

The Bellas & Eve defeated The Other Divas

This was the WORST match ever. This was stupid...I hated it. I hated it completely and so did everyone watching. I don't even know what happened, I just know that the Bellas won...and it was lame.

The Usos defeated The Hart Dynasty

Once again we see this match, and once again the Hart's lose. This sucks...once again I hated it.

Goldust defeated Ted Dibiase

This match wasn't all that great, but I found it more entertaining than the ppv match up. Goldust won the match and Oksana stole the Million Dollar Belt. This was just weird....the whole thing is odd.

John Cena defeated David Otunga

Not exactly a great match, but seeing David Otunga get beat up was cool. JOhn Cena basically buried Otunga, and rightfully so, I liked it.

They had, Tea Time with Santino and it was lame. Ugh. Kozlov and Santino invited Sheamus to the ring and they chatted, until a match was made with Sheamus and Santino.

Sheamus vs. Santino (no contest)

John Morrison saved Santino from further beatings. The match never really ended. Santino was dead. Morrison saves Santino, that's all that happened. OH right,

Santino didn't even have a chance.

Nexus defeated Team Raw w/ John Cena as a special guest referee

This match was entertaining enough, and it featured all the major components of Raw. Nexus however got the win with a little help from the Miz. That was that. I didn't hate this match, but I don't really care about the storyline anymore. I just am tired, maybe that's it. I don't know, it wasn't a great raw, but it wasn't the worst raw ever either.

WWE Superstars 11/4/10 Results and Review

WWE Superstars 11/4/10 Results

Jack Swagger defeated Kaval
Luke Gallows defeated Vance Archer
Gail Kim defeated Alicia Fox
The Usos defeated Mark Henry

WWE Superstars 11/4/10 Review

THe C show for WWE came through again, and some people might say that it's the best show WWE puts out on a weekly basis. but I'm not one of those people.

Jack Swagger defeated Kaval

This match was quite good. Kaval took another beating, and it looked bad. This was not an easy match for Kaval, and it showed. Swagger wasn't completely rolling through this match either, he wasn't just squashing the much smaller man. We saw a lot of throws, a lot of suplexes, and a lot of action from Kaval. The two threw together quite the competitive match up, and it's interesting to see pure-wrestling on a wwe show. I enjoyed this one and was impressed with Kaval in this match up as he put together some new pinning combinations that you haven't seen in a long time. The soaring Eagle interfered, and Kaval tapped to the Ankle Lock, and that's the end of that. A great match, but The All American American American won this hard fighting match up. One of the better matches that I've seen in a long time.

Luke Gallows defeated Vance Archer

THis match was your average big man match, and Luke Gallows won, with relative ease.

Gail Kim defeated Alicia Fox

This was an ok divas match, much better than a lot of other matches I've seen from the Divas. Gail can really go, if they let them, and this match showcased that. Alicia Fox loses and that's the end of that.

The Usos defeated Mark Henry

Mark Henry lost to two guys. That was that. It was a handicap match, and that's that. I don't know what else to say. It was barely watchable.

WWE Superstars 10/28/10 Results

For the first time in a long time, NO ONE had updated WWE Superstars. Not a torrent site, not youtube, and not any of my sources, so I didn't watch the show. I know, that's lame. Here's the results, and maybe next week, someone will have it up.

Mark Henry defeated Jay Uso
Zack Ryder defeated Tyson Kidd
MVP defeated Curt Hawkins
Tyler Reks defeated Chris Masters

WWE Superstars 10/21/10 Results

Santino & Kozlov defeated The Usos
William Regal defeated Darren Young
Drew McIntyre & Dashing Cody Rhodes defeated MVP & Chris Masters

WWE Superstars 10/21/10 Review

Without a major tuesday night show, I feel like I go a long time between wrestling programming. But then Friday morning rolls around and it's time to talk wrestling again to a blog only 2 people read, but that's ok, I like to do it for the fun...Lord knows it's not for the money...geez.

Santino & Kozlov defeated The Usos

Santino has gone from a complete comedy angle, to a comedy angle that can actually move and wrestle in ring. I like how they are making him more of a threat, but feel that it will be short lived. On the other hand, The Usos got mopped up fast with The Scorpion! I don't like these non-meaningful tag matches, at the expense of a "real" tag team. The USOS went from tag team title contenders to jobbers, and that can't be good for the tag team industry as a whole.

William Regal defeated Darren Young

Darren Young is impressive, but not so impressive that he beats William REgal. That's not to say that Darren Young was jobbed out, he put on one hell of a fight against the veteran. I'm assuming the WWE is still teaching Young, because he keeps showing up on Superstars and putting on valiant efforts, only to lose. That's ok with me, I don't mind Darren Young.

The Nexus gave everyone a recap of Monday Night, nothing too cool.

Drew McIntyre & Dashing Cody Rhodes defeated MVP & Chris Masters

This match wasn't half bad, it featured some good back and forth action. MVP and Cody Rhodes made this match quite good, and in the end? Rhodes hit his finisher and MVP landed awkwardly, but the champs win, as is expected. Chris Masters at least got some good overall offense too, but you can tell that this was just a "throw away" match for the most part.

Chris Masters got a black eye and it looked bad, to show that this match was in fact more than just a jobber squash, which is always a good signt. WWE Superstars is definitely a cool show to watch, it's mostly wrestling, longer matches, and little to no talking. I enjoyed it, even though it had really nothing to do with the other WWE plot points or stories, but then again, that's why we all watch wrestling...not soap operas...nevermind.

WWE Superstars 10/7/10 Results

Chris Masters defeated Vance Archer
William Regal defeated Darren Young
The Usos defeated The Hart Dynasty

WWE Superstars 10/7/10 Review

Chris Masters defeated Vance Archer

This match was a lot longer than I would've wanted. The match went on for a while and it was a slow moving, power move filled, rest hold match up. There were some stiff hits here, but overall, this match was basically to help get Archer over. Masters continued to carry a good portion of this match with a well received a comeback. Archer eventually lost via the Master Lock. Yep.

Post match, Hawkins attacked Archer. I guess that means Archer and Hawkins are no longer a team? whatever.

William Regal defeated Darren Young

Darren Young was taken out by Regal, but not a squash in any way. Darren Young showcased that he had a few moves, and the crowd was actually into it. I liked Young's offense, and I liked Regals tactics. Young would eventually lose this one with a stiff kick to the face, and Young looked like he was legit knocked out. Young loses, but he was in there with a very harsh William Regal. I think Darren Young has a real future ahead of him, and I hope he takes out the Nexus...but it probably won't happen.

The Usos defeated The Hart Dynasty

This match was something we've seen a million times before. The Usos finally do what they couldn't do for a long time, and the crowd was into it, which was odd. Unless it was piped in. The Usos won after a big splash and the Hart's once again are on the losing end. Look for them to split and go singles.

THat's the end of the night.

There's a new announcer on Superstars named Scott something...and he didn't do half bad.

WWE Superstars 9/16/10 Results and Review

WWE Superstars 9/16/10 Results

Santino & Kozlov defeated The Usos
The Great Khali defeated Primo
MVP defeated Luke Gallows

WWE Superstars 9/16/10 Review

For those wondering, I hate NXT this season and will not review it or watch it. FU WWE!

Santino & Kozlov defeated The Usos

Why even hire the USOS? They lose again in a somewhat competitive match up. Santino and Kozlov are ona winning streak and why not? Might as well make them the tag champions. I hated this, but you know? What else would I get? Whatever.

The Great Khali defeated Primo

The Great Khali completely destroyed Primo. It was awesome. I like Khali when he's just super dominant. I love his music too. Primo is on his way out...face it.

MVP defeated Luke Gallows

I'm not sure anyone that would put their money on Luke gallows in this match up. Whatever the case, MVP won with the Playmaker. MVP is still somewhat popular too. I liked it. MVP wins.

Superstars was just straightforward wrestling, and that's what I like about the show. There were a lot of recaps, but whatever, i liked this. SES might be on their way out by the way.

Just sayin.

I'll return shortly, or longer with a TNA Impact Report.

WWE Superstars 9/2/10 Results

Ted Dibiase defeated Goldust
Santino defeated 1 of the USOS
Kofi Kingston defeated Chavo Guerrero

WWE Superstars 9/2/10 Review

I'm dead tired this week, worst than any time before. I'm not sure why I even watch some of this stuff, but I can't resist....must move forward.

Ted Dibiase defeated Goldust

Not a terrible match, but it was slow. I'm under the impression that Goldust is trying to teach the youngster and this match was another lesson. Maryse was out there looking hot, and she made me want to go look at her playboy pictures again, but I fought the urge and kept with this match, which was actually long. Goldust would not be able to put away Dibiase, and the end came with his Dreamstreet finisher. I didn't hate the match, but I don't think it rung true with a lot of the casual fans.

Santino defeated 1 of the USOS

The burial of the USOS continues yet again. Santino won this match without too much of a problem. I don't care, you didn't care, and I'm sick of not having a real tag division.

Kofi Kingston defeated Chavo Guerrero

THis match wasn't bad, and Chavo can still put on ok matches. I'm surprised that he doesn't get much of a better push or story line. Kofi hit his spots well enough, and eventually knocked out Chavo with a nice kick off the top, and that was that.

This week's Superstars wasn't terrible, and was pur wrestling, but from wrestlers I didn't really care about. On a side note, it looked like Chavo was injured, but maybe it wasn't that serious.
