WWE WrestleMania 31 Results and Review – The Best One In Ages

SRC WWE.COM
Everyone had something to say about WrestleMania this year. Leading up to it, no one really knew what to expect, and everyone had their own opinion on the matter. What no one really talked about was what really went down. With the exception of Taz, no one that I heard online called this ending and therefore I am going to go out and say that I CALLED IT! But since I don’t have a podcast and I don’t have a voice other than this site, I’ll just leave it at that.

Mania came and went, and I invested heavily into this one. I spent 6 hours of my Sunday watching this thing. Was it good? Well here are my thoughts.

WWE Tag Teach Championship Match

Tyson Kidd and Cesaro win a fatal 4 way

This match was good to start things off. The Usos were basically eliminated due to injury. However, there were a lot of moments that were definitely worth looking at. I liked the tandem moves, the frenetic pace, and definitely enjoyed how things moved through. Natalya is hot, I loved her outfit, and couldn’t look away. Tyson Kidd seemed injured at the end, but the win was strong, a good match for me.

Big Show won the Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal

I did not like this match. However, the ending was ok. Mizdow should’ve won, but that’s ok. I liked the match and really enjoyed the eliminations that came through. There’s not much to say here. Great action, lots of cool spots, including the NXT member whose name escapes me.

Daniel Bryan wins the Intercontinental Championship Ladder Match

Bryan took a beating. Ambrose nearly died out there. The whole match was hard hitting. I didn’t peg Bryan to win, but am glad he was able to pull it off. The follow up interview after was awesome, with all the former intercontinental champions congratulating him. I’m hoping he goes down as a fighting champion, as there’s a lot of competition for him. Great match, fun, lots of high spots.

Randy Orton defeated Seth Rollins

I never liked Orton. Until now. He is a machine. Like a well-oiled machine he plowed through Seth Rollins in this one. I loved the RKO out of the air, and just found this to be a great match up. Orton’s win made me think that there was something in the air for later. Orton needs more competition.

Triple H defeated Sting

Sting put on a hell of a show with Triple H. The two got along great in the ring. DX came out to help Trips, then the New World Order came out to help Sting. I loved it. I was expecting Ric Flair to come out, but he didn’t. At the end, Sting went down and was defeated. I loved the match and really thought the two put something good together.

AJ Lee and Paige defeated The Bella Twins

I had to use the bathroom. I heard this was an ok match. I saw a little of it, it doesn’t catch my eye, the divas are getting better though.

John Cena defeated Rusev for the United States Championship

For a moment, I thought Cena was going down. Nope. No matter how much I hate him, he seems to find a way to win. He pulled out some great moves here. I liked the match enough, however, I didn’t want Cena to win. Lana is hot as hell.

The Undertaker defeated Bray Wyatt

Taker was looking old and was selling Wyatt’s move set. I liked the match well enough, but you know, Taker is just looking tired. It was an entertaining match, but it wasn’t grand.

Ronda Rousey is the hottest woman on the planet. I love her. I wish I had a chance to date her. That being said, the Rock came down and challenged Triple H after a promo. Stephanie got in his face, and Ronda came over the rail as Rock brought her out. Then she took on Trips and Stephanie in a great WrestleMania moment!

Seth Rollins Cashes in Money In The Bank To Win The WWE Title

Brock Lesnar is a machine. He tore Roman a new one. He completely blew away Reigns here. Reigns absolutely got beaten down. I was impressed. Lesnar was busted open the hard way. Seth Rollins ran down amidst the beating and cashed in the Money in the Bank. NO ONE CALLED THIS! He then went back and forth with Lesnar a bit before Lesnar caught him in mid-air and then got speared by Reigns. Holy crap I went nuts and after a curb stomp on Reigns, ROLLINS won the title and ran away.

SETH Rollins is the new champ.

Overall WrestleMania thought? This has been the most enjoyable Mania I’ve seen in a long time. I loved it. I can’t wait to see how they follow this up.

WWE Superstars 1/27/11 Results

Like I said before, NO ONE had these shows updated this morning so I couldn't see them. I'm not going to stress, I just don't have cable so if I can't get them online, I am not going to try very hard to find them. I miss wrestling on FREE tv. Remember those days? Yeah, those were the days.

Tyler Reks defeated Trent Barreta

Primo and Zack Ryder defeated Yoshi Tatsu and David Hart Smith

R-Truth defeated Tyson Kidd

WWE Superstars 1/20/11 Results and Review

No one really reads this site anyways, and no one buys anything from the links, so it shouldn't surprise anyone that I totally forgot about this blog until this morning when I realized I didn't review anything for the second half of the week. I guess I am losing my interest in professional wrestling, at least doing this site, but somehow I managed to watch it for you idiots that still visit this site. I hate going to the library to watch wrestling, it's so lame, but when you don't have a job or any money, this is what happens.

Here are my thoughts on WWE Superstars from Thursday 1/20 I think it was the 19th....and I'm shaking things up....you'll have to read through the review to get the results...no more holding your hands...jerks.

The first match was Chavo Guerrero and JTG squaring off against each other. How long will the WWE employ Chavo? I'm tired of seeing that dude, sorry. He needs to reinvent himself as something new. The match up was ok at best, it was actually kind of tired, until JTG started to hit a second wind and really put the boots (literally) to Chavo. JTG hit the MUG SHOT and then a nice spinning neck move and CHavo was out cold. JTG wins again.

JTG defeated Chavo Guerrero

I'm hoping they fire Chavo soon, or repackage him.

Chris Masters came out next, and I haven't liked the guy since he turned on Carlito inside the Elimination Chamber all those years ago. Masters came flying off the top rope to lose his face as he got serious rug burn on the mat, and Hawkins capitalized by....using a head lock. Hawkins really made this match boring, while Masters won...but don't get it twisted, this was a terribly boring match.

Chris Masters defeated Curt Hawkins

I'm hoping they fire Curt Hawkins soon.

Nxt sucks

Up next they put Zack Ryder and Primo together? This just seemed weird. They should hire Robbie E to team up with Zack Ryder for the ultimate Jersey Shore reference. I've never seen the show, just to let you guys know. In case you didn't know, I don't own a tv, nor cable, and there's NO affiliate channels in my area so I get no free channels. Oh and the other team was DH Smith and Black John Cena. Darren Young has improved greatly, if you ask me, and he's looking great against the likes of Primo. Darren Young cleared house at the end of the match, but it was too little too late, because the Rough Ryder was hit and that was that, Young knocked out cold, and we get Zack Ryder a win.

Zack Ryder & Primo defeated Darren Young & DH Smith

Up next was Yoshi Tatsu and Tyson Kidd. These two smaller wrestlers are great mat technicians, but they are just wrestlers and not exactly the Superstar level that is required by the WWE. I mean, they are ok at best, but I wouldn't miss them if they were to leave the WWE. The match was ok, it had a few good spots, lots of fast paced mat wrestling and top rope misses and hits, and in the end, Kidd loses after a roll up, and that's that.

Yoshi Tatsu defeated Tyson Kidd

Superstars was quick, only about 39 minutes of content to fill the full hour. I didn't really like it, even though I was able to sit through all of it. There were a few good spots, but nothing that I can truly say anyone missed. Superstars needs to have a better influx of top stars for me and the rest of the WWE Universe to care, and it's just not happening yet.

WWE Monday Night Raw 1/10/11 Results and Review

WWE Monday Night Raw 1/10/11 Results

Alberto Del Rio defeated R Truth
Mark Henry & Daniel Bryan defeated Ted Dibiase & Tyson Kidd
John Morrison defeated Sheamus
Randy Orton & Jerry Lawler defeated The Miz & Alex Riley

WWE Monday Night Raw 1/10/11 Review

I feel like I haven't had an adequate break from pro-wrestling in a long time. I feel like I'm overloaded with wrestling and yet can't make a dime with ads, or anyone buying anything on amazon. I'm sorry to vent, but when you've been unemployed for 16 months, and have to pay back a student loan for your education, you get kind of bummed sometimes.

Santino & Kozlov came out for the tag team championship match, but it didn't go down, because Nexus ran down and beat the champions up. They were all wearing new shirts, which looked awesome. This new group is amazing folks, and I like it, I really like where it's going.

CM Punk cut a promo and said that everyone has to prove that they are great...and that there will be an initiation!

Punk pulled out McGullicutty and was told he would have to get beaten into the group, gang land style!

Alberto Del Rio defeated R Truth

This was a quick match with not a lot of great action, but some good moments. Towards the end of the match, the two battled outside of the ring and Del Rio's ring announcer distracted R Truth and was counted out! That's right, Del Rio gets the win via countout. Del Rio is a great heel, and I hope they continue with it, cause he can generate some great heat.

This show was weird, that's all I can say...there were some seriously gay things with Nexus like getting "whipped"??? You had to see it to believe it.

Mark Henry & Daniel Bryan defeated Ted Dibiase & Tyson Kidd

I saw this match on Thursday, so it was ok. The same match we saw, only this time it seemed that Daniel Bryan and Mark Henry were short on time so this match was rushed and featured some heavy hitting offense. It eventually just had the good guys go over. The Bellas looked hot.

Big Show came out and beat up David Otunga.

John Morrison defeated Sheamus

Once again, Sheamus couldn't beat John Morrison. This is kind of odd booking if you ask me. John Morrison took one hell of a beating though, so this wasn't a burial match of any kind. Sheamus really had to work hard here, but when it was all said and done John Morrison managed to turn things around and won. Morrison's new push is awesome, and people are getting behind every win. Sheamus has been taking some serious hits, and hopefully he's being pushed into a Triple H match...sooner than later.

The King Jerry Lawler talked about the first inductee to be in the WWE Hall of Fame, and it is none other than:

Shawn Michaels

Wow. That's all I can say. Those video packages are awesome.

HBK came out and and talked about how great it is to go into the Hall of Fame. That prompted Alberto Del Rio to cut a heel promo. Yep. I kid you not. HBK listened but as Del Rio finished up, he got a face full of CHIN MUSIC! Yep. I kid you not, it looked impressive and Del Rio was out cold! It was awesome! I marked out like a 10 year old Cena fan.

CM Punk cut another promo, and Cena chimed in via Satellite....and well...he cut a promo on Punk...it was boring.

Randy Orton & Jerry Lawler defeated The Miz & Alex Riley

Alex Riley got completely killed in this match up because Randy Orton wouldn't let The Miz get involved with the match. That being said, Riley took a lot of offense, and it was insane. Lawler hit his mid rope fist drop and won the match for his team. That was that.

A strange night in wrestling, that's all I can say. The Nexus thing was weird. The titles seemed secondary. The wrestling was rushed, and it seemed like there wasn't much time for much more. Oh well.

Next week, John Cena will face Cm Punk! It should be good.

WWE Superstars 1/6/10 Results

Tyler Reks defeated JTG
Chris Masters defeated Curt Hawkins
Yoshi Tatsu defeated Zack Ryder
Tyson Kidd & Ted Dibiase Jr defeated Daniel Bryan & Mark Henry

WWE Superstars 1/6/10 Review

The first Superstars that I could watch, and it's Jack Korpel and Matt Striker on commentary and out comes JTG to face Tyler Reks. I liked the surfer gimmick, but that was just me. This kind of "Conan" gimmick, is boring to me.

Tyler Reks defeated JTG

This match surprised me, Tyler Reks usually plows through his oppnents with relative ease and I thought this match was going to be another squash. However, this match had JTG hitting some nice moves and hard moves against Reks, but just when I thought to mention that, Reks hit his finisher and this thing was all over. Reks wins, and no one in the crowd cared. He's not that good.

Chris Masters defeated Curt Hawkins

This match wasn't all that great, it bored me really. Chris Masters put short work into defeating Curt Hawkins and the match was easily over after a few power moves. I didn't care.

I'm not watching NXT, I don't care.

Yoshi Tatsu defeated Zack Ryder

Zack Ryder loses this contest and it was a good back and forth affair. It really is a weird match up, and I'm not sure why Ryder doesn't get a better push. This match had a lot of action, lots of good moments, but it just didn't amount to much fan fare. Tatsu hit some sick kicks and eventually beat Ryder. Zack Ryder could be such a huge star, and yet they don't use him. I don't know.

Tyson Kidd & Ted Dibiase Jr defeated Daniel Bryan & Mark Henry

This boring match had some good action here and there. It had a lot of moments that were fast, and obviously foreshadowing the future, but after Daniel Bryan kept going for his finisher, this thing sunk. Tyson Kidd hit a nice neck breaker and pinned Bryan.

Overall not a great show, and I really am not sure why the WWE keeps putting this show out, it's not nearly as good as either major shows on Mondays and Fridays, and really is just a filler show that bores me.

WWE Monday Night Raw 12/27/10 Results and Review

WWE Monday Night Raw 12/27/10 Results

Santino defeated Ted Dibiase
John Morrison defeated Alex Riley
Mark Henry defeated Tyson Kidd
Jerry "The King" Lawler defeated The Miz
Melina & Alicia Fox defeated Gail Kim & Eve
Daniel Bryan defeated Zack Ryder
Randy Orton defeated Sheamus

WWE Monday Night Raw 12/27/10 Review

Sorry for the delay, the library's computers were a bit more crowded then usual, so getting a 1 hour and 1/2 block of time was tough. But I managed to get Raw and review it for you 2 readers out there. Hopefully everyone had a better Christmas than I did. I didn't get any presents, no tree, and this site failed to sell anything on amazon. But that's ok, I had some little debbie's gingerbread cookies and some coffee and that was that. Here is my review of the last Raw of 2010!

THe show opened up with John Cena coming out and getting a huge ovation. The crowd exploded upon the start. It was crazy, I can't believe it. John Cena cut a promo and talked about how he probably deserved getting hit with chairs by Cm Punk, for SPILLING HIS DIET SODA! Yes. FOR THE SODA!I was laughing, but it seemed like the crowd wasn't sure.

CM Punk came out after prompting, and he cut a heel promo on John Cena. Punk addresses the soda, and the crowd completely goes into a frenzy with the You Suck chants. Punk's new shirt is awesome, in case anyone cares. CM Punk's mic work is golden here, and something worth listening and watching to. Punk's heel character is a great contrast to John Cena. This feud is going to be quite good as it's developing nicely. We'll see how it goes, because despite being PG it still had me hooked.

Santino defeated Ted Dibiase

This was a fast match with two or three moves. Santino got the win with a quick roll up, and that was that. The burial of Ted Dibiase in 2010 continues.

Post match, Ted and Maryse tried to jump the winners, but they turned the corner and they pulled of dual CObras! It's interesting I guess, if nothing else, it's funny to watch.

John Morrison defeated Alex Riley

This match was definitely something to watch. Despite Alex Riley's rookie status, he's a good wrestler with some great footwork and great reaction time. Morrison was far better here, and was near perfect yet again, but The Miz kept him from hitting some of his move set at one point, but Miz was thrown out. Morrison said that his match with Miz would be Falls Count Anywhere and it will be next week! This was a good entertaining match, with lots of back and forth, and with a great impact to end it. Alex Riley got obliterated in the end, and The MIz will have to face Morrison next week. I am going to bank on him winning and the two fighting at the Royal Rumble.

Mark Henry defeated Tyson Kidd

I can't believe Mark Henry is still employed after all these years. He was fed Tyson Kidd and Henry beat him with relative ease. It was a burial folks, Mark Henry beats Kidd.

Post match, Jackson Andrews was given the "World's Strongest Slam". I'm not sure why they buried Kidd's body guard here. He easily beat Andrew with a slam, and made him look like a chump. So much for that story line huh? I can't believe this bs.

Jerry "The King" Lawler defeated The Miz

Lawler once again got to face the Miz, this time not in a ladder match. It was just a singles match, with no title on the line. This was a slow moving match with The Miz taking control for a good portion of it. Lawler was NOT looking as good as he did with the Ladder match, but he did manage to make this one interesting. He was able to hit Miz at some opportune moments, at one point knocking Miz out as he fell from the middle rope to land face first into the steel steps. Alex Riley tried to attack, but as he was doing that, Morrison hit Miz and Lawler won by countout! LAWLER WINS! With a little help, Lawler goes out on top, which was interesting to say the least.

Melina & Alicia Fox defeated Gail Kim & Eve

Gail Kim, amazing performer. I can't believe that she's been jobbed out to Melina here. This match was a showcase of "Melina" rather than competitive match up. I loved how Gail Kim's offense looked and her Missile Dropkick fromt he top rope was picture perfect. Despite some great moves, and despite a great example of quality athleticism, I didn't like how it ended up being a way to move Melina's heel push. Melina got the pin, no one cared.

Natalya got in the ring and slapped Melina this time. No one cares.

WOO WOO WOO YOU KNOW IT!

Daniel Bryan defeated Zack Ryder

I love Zack Ryder's gimmick and wrestling style far better than the Jersey Shore guy in TNA, and would rather see him go and help the young man on TNA than to see him get jobbed out on every show. Zack Ryder here put on a slim show as Bryan was all over him. Daniel Bryan beat the snot out of Ryder than made him tap, and that was that.

While Michael Cole was delivering an announcement from the General Manager, The Miz jumped Jerry Lawler. No joke, he just beat the bricks off of Lawler, and that was that.

Randy Orton defeated Sheamus

Back and forth momentum swing here. When Orton was champion these two couldn't put together a watchable affair for me. But now that they are not in the title picture, they put on a great match? This is backwards. Despite the obvious oddity, the two put on a show here with a lot of great moments. Some high offense, some great counters, and Sheamus wasn't able to defend himself from the striking predator. Sheamus went for the shoulder block from outside the ring to the inside and BOOOM THE RKO! What a counter, and what a quick strike that was positioned perfectly. I couldn't believe the timing, once again these two put on a show. Sheamus the stronger of the two, kep hitting Orton with his offense, and with the sling shot attempt at the end of the match, his downfall came with an RKO timed perfectly. I can't believe how well the spot worked, and well, Orton wins. I was surprised that Sheamus being king hasn't worked well for him.

John Cena came out to the ring expecting CM Punk to surprise him. But instead, out came THE NEXUS. This time, they were lead out to the ring by David Otunga. That's right, DAVID OTUNGA, is looking to be the leader of the rookie group NEXUS. Otunga tried to get a friendship with John Cena. Cena decline and told Otunga off, and Otunga left the ring, a sad broken man.

As Nexus was turning away, they ran back to the ring and beat up John Cena! Yep, Nexus vs John Cena, and that was that. I'm not sure why they are continuing this story line, but whatever, I liked Cena trying to get taken out by Nexus, only to show off that he's SUPER MAN, but he didn't overcome the numbers game as he took the 450 splash, and a nice senton by Husky.

No sign of Wade Barrett here. As Nexus was going to the top of the stage, out came CM Punk. He walked out to the ring and took on a beaten and battered John Cena. He then hit The GTS on Cena. Is he the leader of the Nexus?

YES. CM PUNK is now the leader of the NEXUS! That's right, he simply got a chair and sat down, and then put on the Nexus arm band. He is NOW the LEADER OF THE NEXUS! I marked out huge, and with one arm raised, the NEXUS got in line. Is this now the Straightedge Society? Is the Nexus now stronger? I don't know, but what a way to create a new stable, a new leader, and nefound interest in Raw, and The Nexus. No one called this, I'm sorry, NO PODCAST, NO SMARK, NO ONE CALLED PUNK IN THE NEXUS.

Leader changes are great for wrestling stables. One of the biggest leader changes was DX. When Shawn Michaels was thrown out of DX for losing at Wrestlemania, HHH began to rise to the top of the WWE ranks. In fact, the next night on Raw after Chainsaw Charlie and Cactus Jack were complete buried by the New Age Outlaws in a dumpster match, we saw a cage match between the four and the debut of X-Pac.

Raw was good tonight, the ending was great. I loved the new dynamic, I like the new leader. Wade Barrett should return, Darren Young should also come back or get recruited. The Nexus could be like Raven's flock was, stronger and more dynamic. We'll find out what happens in the new year. I'm excited.

WWE Monday Night Raw 12/6/10 Results

Daniel Bryan & Brie Bella defeated Ted Dibiase Jr & Maryse
Tyson Kidd defeated DH Smith
Santino & Kozlov defeated The Nexus in a Four Corners Match for the Tag Team Championship
Natalya defeated Melina
Randy Orton defeated Alex Riley via dq

WWE Monday Night Raw 12/6/10 Review

The night started with a recap of last week's Raw, featuring the Miz's first title defense, and how he nearly lost. Literally, Jerry Lawler was robbed of the WWE championship last week, thanks to Michael Cole!

I still say that last week's world title main event, was the match of the year candidate, just because of how emotional I got during the match and how memorable it is going to be for me to see Lawler not only nearly win the match but also beat the snot out of Michael Cole. I hate Michael Cole, and I hope he gets fired. He's worse than Mike Tenay ever was. I'd rather hear Tony Shiavone and Dusty Rhodes.

Raw's announcers were only CM Punk and Jerr Lawler, NO MICHAEL COLE.

Michael Cole walked out to issue an apology. Cole's getting fat, by the way.

As cole was in ring mouthing off, the general manager forced The King to go into the ring and apologize, and he did. But as the two shook hands, The King held onto Cole, and said that someone from the back wanted to come say high to Cole...it was none other than, RANDY ORTON.

The Miz came out to talk crap and set up a rematch with Orton at TLC. But the big highlight here was Michael Cole, he got the biggest RKO of his life! COLE is dead! I LOVED IT! FU COLE! FU!

Daniel Bryan & Brie Bella defeated Ted Dibiase Jr & Maryse

Not a great match, but for what it was, it had a great deal of good moments. Daniel Bryan and Ted work well in a limited capacity and this match was a good opener, at least for me. No amazing moves here, no incredible wrestling, but a good deal of fighting and limited diva action.

David Otunga did an interview in place of Wade Barrett.

In a hotel room, John Cena beat up Husky Harris.

Tyson Kidd came out with a new bodyguard. A very young looking Matt Morgan or Kevin Nash type. This guy was a complete meathead, looking a lot like the characters in Final Fight.

Tyson Kidd defeated DH Smith

This match was not that great but it did feature a nice super plex from the top rope. This quick match ended with a Tyson Kidd roll up.

Post match the enforcer body guard beat up DH Smith.

Santino & Kozlov defeated The Nexus in a Four Corners Match for the Tag Team Championship

This match was elimination style and it was actually given quite some time. Santino showed a lot more wrestling this time, and Kozlov had a great deal of influence as he fought off the Nexus attack. As teams were eliminated, the match moved forward and eventually got a HUGE distraction from John Cena. Cena jumped the rail, and the Cobra hit, giving Santino and Kozlov the world tag team championship belts! That's right, Santino and Kozlov are the new champions.

Sheamus came out to do his royal introduction and ceremony with the crown and the throne in the ring. He cut a promo, but out came John Morrison and beat him up and threw him out of the ring. The two will probably continue to Feud, but what everyone is talking about online is, where is HHH?

Natalya defeated Melina

A boring match, with a little bit of wrestling. Not a whole lot. Laycool was on color commentary. Natalya wins with a Sharpshooter.

Post match, Laycool beat up Natalya.

Randy Orton defeated Alex Riley via dq

I'm assuming that was the ending, as this match wasn't that long. The Miz was in the corner of Alex Riley, but when Orton looked like he was going to win, Miz ran in and hit the Skull Crushing Finale.

The Miz then said he'd show Orton what kind of match they would have. Miz brought out a Table, so apparently they'll have a table's match at the ppv. Nothing happened though, as Orotn woke up. Alex Riley was then power bombed through a table by Orton.

Wade Barrett and Cena had words...I didn't care.

Wade Barrett asked Nexus to come down and help him fight John Cena...and they walked away! That's right, they walkd away! Nexus gave up on Wade Barrett! THERE IS A NEW LEADER IN NEXUS! Wade is out, and the last man to leave was David Otunga...and yep, the NEXUS left Wade Barrett for dead and John Cena beat the hell out of him.

That was the end of Raw. John Cena, the supposedly fired superstar, beat up Wade Barrett and Nexus walked out of the match up. This was a watchable raw, but there was no memorable match. I liked it, don't get me wrong, but come on, no memorable wrestling on a wrestling show? Oh well. I liked where it is going.

The show ended with Wade Barrett and David Otunga yelling at him.

WWE Superstars 12/3/10 Results

Tyler Reks defeated Trent Berretta
William Regal defeated Darren Young
Tyson Kidd defeated DH Smith

WWE Superstars 12/3/10 Review

Another week of Thursday night wrestling, and I'm not as tired as I usually am. It's probably because I have no job, so I can sleep more often.

Here is how things went down, on the least watched wrestling show aside from Impact.

Tyler Reks defeated Trent Berretta

Tyler Reks and Trent Berretta really went out there and fought hard for this one, even if no one cared. I can't get behind either guy here. The match had a few moments that looked good, especially with the high flyer getting the best of the monster, but overall, the end wasn't that great with a torture rack into a slam of sorts. Tyler Reks eventually outlasted Trent and won.

The two have talent, but I don't care about either one's character, so eh...I didn't really care for the match, I guess.

NXT Season 3's winner was announced, and the winner of NXT is:

Kaitlyn

No one cared, especially me.

William Regal defeated Darren Young

Darren Young completely beat down Darren Young again. Young has been getting better each and every week, but wow, Regal really put him away. The Regal Stretch looked really good, and Young is on his way out, he's just on his way out.

CM Punk was on the mic with the new guy, and it was good overall. I liked it a lot, and hope Darren Young is the wild card in the Nexus angle in coming weeks.

Tyson Kidd defeated DH Smith

This match was given some time, but it wasn't all that great. I was actually bored a few times during this match, despite the two of them working well together. The match had a few high spots, but neither man has the charisma that their family has, so it's going to take some time to build on obvious in ring talent. The two are done, I guess...or rather, the tag team is done.

WWE Monday Night Raw 11/22/10 Review

One night after Survivor Series, and we get this night of Raw...after Survivor Series, I was completely left dumbfounded, and could only imagine what was going to go down...so here it goes, how it happened:

Nexus was in ring talking trash. The imaginary general manager chimed in, and wanted to talk, and he said that Wade Barrett will face off against Randy Orton for the WWE title....TONIGHT!

Wade Barrett said that he will allow John Cena to come back to Raw tonight.

Next week will be the King of The Ring tournament. Cm Punk was on the color commentary tonight and it was great, Punk on the mic and on the headset is amazing.

Sheamus defeated R Truth

Sheamus was aggressive and made the pace of this match really good, and it wasn't half bad. Sheamus is a massive guy and it showed when he wrestled a much leaner R Truth. Truth hit some nice spots, and top rope hits, but it was the HIGH CROSS that hit Truth into the mat and he lost this one. Sheamus moves on to the King of the Ring tournament. This was no burial, there were some nice spots here, and both men put on a good amount of offensive before it was all said and done.

Ezekiel Jackson defeated Alex Riley

Riley got squashed completely, and Jackson wins with ease. I don't care.

John Cena gave his last speech and the crowd was completely split in half. It was completely uproarious, and that was that. I guess Cena is officially out for now. I don't know why.

Daniel Bryan defeated Ted Dibiase

This match was good again, and Bryan proved yet again that he has what it takes to be in WWE. This wasn't as good as last night, but it still had a good amount of impact. He will now qualify for the King of the RIng tournament, and now the Bella Twins are all over Bryan...lucky, lucky dude.

Natalya defeated Alicia Fox

Terrible match, but I guess that's expected.

Morrison defeated Tyson Kidd

Kidd sucks. Morrison breezed through this one, and that was that. Not much here.

Randy Orton was headed out to the ring for his match and Nexus attacked him. They beat him up completely, and left him for dead! That's right, Nexus was completely dominant here, ambushing Orton. No one came to his rescue either, the ref's forced Nexus back, but the damage was done.

Randy Orton defeated Wade Barrett

Orton came out for this match and his knee was hurt, and it showed. Barrett cruised through the majority of this match and Orton looked like he was completely lost here. Wade nearly had this won, but out of the crowd ran JOHN CENA, beat up Wade Barett and ORTON WON THE MATCH! ORTON WINS!

The crowd was all over this match, and the run in was awesome. Orton defeats Wade Barrett again, and I'm left wondering who is left to challenge for the WWE title, but whatever...what a good overall match up.

Then we heard...none other than....

AWESOME! I CAME TO PLAY! HE CASHED IN THE MONEY IN THE BANK BRIEFCASE!!!!

THE MIZ defeated Randy Orton

I marked out huge, I was going completely nuts for this. Alex Riley was at ring side. Orton was attacking Orton right away, and this thing was taking off! I was marking out huge! THE RKO seemed easy and it was nearly hit but NO, THE SKULL CRUSHING FINALE was hiT and THE MIZ WINS! THE MIZ IS THE NEW WWE CHAMPION! THE MIZ THE MIZ THE MIZ AWESOME!

BEST RAW ENDING EVER!

THE MIZ WINS! THE MIZ THE MIZ!

AWESOME! I CAME TO PLAY! Wow!

WWE Superstars 10/28/10 Results

For the first time in a long time, NO ONE had updated WWE Superstars. Not a torrent site, not youtube, and not any of my sources, so I didn't watch the show. I know, that's lame. Here's the results, and maybe next week, someone will have it up.

Mark Henry defeated Jay Uso
Zack Ryder defeated Tyson Kidd
MVP defeated Curt Hawkins
Tyler Reks defeated Chris Masters

WWE Monday Night Raw 10/11/10 Results and Review

WWE Monday Night Raw 10/11/10 Results

R Truth defeated Ted Dibiase Jr.
John Morrison defeated Tyson Kidd
Santino defeated Zack Ryder
RKO defeated Justin Gabriel
Sheamus defeated Daniel Bryan
Cm Punk defeated Evan Bourne
The Miz defeated John Cena

WWE Monday Night Raw 10/11/10 Review

John Cena was out and talking about crap, and out came The Miz to argue and ask Cena to join team Raw. That prompted Wade Barrett to come out and mouthed off.

Ugh...the general manager chimed in and the whole crowd was going "what", which was insane.

R Truth defeated Ted Dibiase Jr.

This match wasn't half bad. These two have wrestled before and their timing isn't half bad. Mid-match out came Goldust with the Million Dollar belt and Dibiase got distracted, costing him the match. I like what they are doing with Goldust and Dibiase, making a belt that's not even a WWE title, mean something, and elevating the program to something worth watching. I liked it.

John Morrison defeated Tyson Kidd

Tyson Kidd loses this one, and John Morrison continued to impress. All hee needed was a beard and to stop talking on the mic! This match was quite good, fast, and it's once again the end of The Hart Dynasty.

In the backstage area the new rookies had nothing to say to the rest of Nexus.

Santino defeated Zack Ryder

Santino won this match, with the whole crowd going nuts for him. Zack Ryder is a joke character, and if he were to get fired he could join "Shore" in TNA, which would be nice.

RKO defeated Justin Gabriel

Despite the fact that Justin Gabriel is given one heck of a match with Orton, and Randy Orton couldn't just simply RKO his way out of this match, he won. This match was given some major time, considering, and it wasn't half bad. Gabriel put on one heck of a match, but I knew and everyone else knew that there was no way he'd win, because after a huge RKO this thing was over, much to the Seattle Crowd's delight. The match wasn't half bad.

Sheamus defeated Daniel Bryan

One of the better matches I've seen on Raw or anywhere. Daniel Bryan and Sheamus put on a major match up, and it was seriously hard. Bryan hit Sheamus as hard as he possibly could on some of the shots to Sheamus, and Sheamus took all the punishment and manage to win this one. I liked how Bryan didn't just get pwned this week, but rather, got a lot of shots against the former Champion. Sheamus wins and is on team raw...which I don't care about.

Cm Punk defeated Evan Bourne

This match was stupid. It was short and it just killed Evan Bourne's character. Punk is back and he's insane, and is on team raw? I guess. Who cares...I don't.

The Miz defeated John Cena

This match was your standard Cena match, with one exception, it was NO DQ and it had MIZ getting help from Alex Riely, Michael McGulicutty and Husky Harris! I absolutely loved the ending, and loved how Cena got his comeupins, which is long over due. The Miz won and is captain of Raw.

Post match, The two guys attacked Cena, and out came Barrett and he nearly knocked out Wade Barrett! He stopped himself, and the two met in the center of the ring, only to hear the general manager's email tone.

It was ok...nothing too crazy. I liked it, and miss living in Seattle. I still have no job, and no hope...sadly. This was late..I know.

WWE Friday Night Smackdown 11/21/09 Results and Review The Brothers of Destruction

WWE Friday Night Smackdown 11/21/09 Results

Batista defeated Matt Hardy
Drew McIntyre defeated Finlay
John Morrison defeated Dolph Ziggler best two out of three falls for the intercontinental championships
Mickie James defeated Layla
Rey Mysterio vs Tyson Kidd (dq? No contest? I don’t know…Batista interfered)
The Brothers of Destruction vs Chris Jericho & The Big Show

WWE Friday Night Smackdown 11/21/09 Review

The show immediately opened up with the reason why I still watch wwe…wrestling.

Batista defeated Matt Hardy

This was a cool match, at least in the on set. Matt Hardy didn’t just roll over and let Batista beat him up, he put in some offense, and was working on staying in there as long as possible. Even while Batista was setting up Hardy in rest holds, Hardy managed to get offense in. This was a good thing, making Batista work for his win, and not just squashing Hardy as a jobber. Hardy even countered the Batista Bomb! This match, although shorter than usual, managed to be quite impressive. Hardy countered the spear too! This was not a squash job, which made me cheer for once. Batista ended up winning the match, but Hardy was there step by step fighting back.

Drew McIntyre defeated Finlay

Finlay came out and brawled with Drew. However, in a stupid turn of events Drew hit Finlay with an eye gauge his ddt finisher and won with ease. What the heck? Finlay gets one eye rake and it’s over? The same Finlay that fought in a junkyard with the rest of the hardcore title guys in WCW? WWE took a misstep in this match. It was like a reverse squash…if that exists.

CM Punk cut the longest promo I’ve seen in a long time. He cut a straightedge promo with three major examples, visuals, trash cans, just boredom. Then R Truth came out to settle the mood, and finally change things up a little. In one of the best feud starters in a long time, R Truth knocked Punk nearly unconscious with a trash can full of cigarettes! Yep. That’s right, he beat the crap out of Punk then dumped a trashcan of cigarettes over him! There will be blood! Right?

John Morrison defeated Dolph Ziggler best two out of three falls for the intercontinental championship

This match started of fast, with good movement. Morrison even went for Starship Pain early, but was thwarted by Ziggler, who put a knee up. Morrison then quickly rolled up Ziggler for the first pinfall!

The second fall was a good overall match. Ziggler controlled most of this match up, and it looked like he could gain a foothold in this match. He was focusing on Morrison’s back and really putting a good amount of offense in. This was not a squash match by any stretch of the imagination. Ziggler got the pinfall, and it was 1 to 1.

The third fall was key, as it really showed that Ziggler is so close to getting a belt. However, Morrison just was one step ahead, and really is the future of the WWE if he continues to put on displays like he did in the third fall. Ziggler and Morrison put on a hefty match up and it showed. Morrison scored the third fall after hitting Starship Pain and man…he got an ovation.

Mickie James defeated Layla

Layla was fighting Mickie James, if you can call it fighting. Mickie James easily defated the Smackdown Diva, and it was not much of a challeng. I was a little bored. Mickie James needs more wrestling competition, simply put.

Post match, Mickie James got made fun of by Michelle McCool with a hilarious promo that was supposed to make fun of Mickie James, but instead just seemed so cheesy. I didn’t care for it, but it apparently made Mickie James cry. Whatever…she’s been getting fat lately.

Rey Mysterio vs Tyson Kidd (dq? No contest? I don’t know…Batista interfered)

Tyson Kidd looked like a man possessed out there. He was taking it to Rey in a way I haven’t seen Kidd wrestle. He was fighting fast, and had been one step ahead of Mysterio throughout the first part of this match. Kidd was definitely stepping up his game for this and was really showcasing that he’s quite good. Mysterio of course would make him pay for a subtle mistake, gaining an edge over Kidd with some high spots, including going to the top rope….but it was Batista that caused this match’s finale.

Batista interfered, pushed Kidd away and Mysterio pounced on Batista, humiliating him for the second straight week. It was fast, and it was rad. This was a good set up for their match, even if it did come at the price of Tyson Kidd’s stellar performance against Mysterio.

Kane & The Undertaker vs Chris Jericho & The Big Show (no contest?)

These guys make for quite the match up. The match started with Kane and Jericho getting into it, and it wasn’t half bad. Kane, for once, started looking like the Kane of old, methodical yet fast. Hitting Jericho with a slew of offense that we don’t get out of the Big Slow Machine anymore. The Undertaker got a tag and he too was working fast, and Jericho seemed outmatched by the big guys, until he tagged in The Big Show! The Brothers of Destruction were definitely in control of this match in the early goings, until the second commercial break.

Remember when The Brothers of Destruction took on DDP & Christian in a cage match? Remember DDP getting squashed for stalking “Sarah”? It was great, DDP never recovered from that angle….sad huh? Whatever…DDP vs Goldberg at Halloween Havoc 98 is all I need from DDP; that and when he wrestled Macho Man…twice.

Back to the match:

Undertaker went “old school” which is rad, because this time it wasn’t “vintage”. The big guys were in complete control of the tag champions. Jericho wasn’t getting much of a chance to shine, and Big Show was trying to get a few shots in, and while he was getting in there good, he wasn’t able to put away the big guys alone. Jericho eventually was able to get some offense on Kane, but only after Big Show softened him up a little. You might remember that Jericho fought Kane in a Last Man Standing match when Jericho was still Y2J, and Jericho fought him hard back then, and still managed to get some offense in now…several years later. However, Kane was able to turn things around with a counter to the Lionsault. Jericho eventually was in there with Undertaker and was in the midst of getting the Walls of Jericho on Taker, but Taker was putting on the hells gate choke, only to get leg dropped by The Big Show! This match was getting really interesting, and the action spilled out to the floor and this thing turned into a brawl…which reminds me, why was there no standing 10 count outside the ring? Oh well. The Brothers of Destruction isolated Chris Jericho in the ring, and this was the end of Jericho. Jericho was hit with a huge chokeslam from Kane, a big boot from Undertaker, only to get Big Show back in to equalize the situation.

However, Jericho hit the Codebreaker on Big Show then stole the world championship belt and ran off! Big Show and Undertaker were left in the ring, and the ref was confused, as was I.

The show was good, the main event was good too, although confusing. I’m not sure what he point is of having these no ending matches…I would appreciate someone winning or losing…geez.

WWE Friday Night Smackdown 8/7/09 Results and Review Punk is Bad

WWE Friday Night Smackdown 8/7/09 Results

CM Punk vs Jeff Hardy no contest
John Morrison defeated Tyson Kidd
Slam Master J defeated Charlie Haas
Dolph Ziggler defeated Finlay, R Truth, and Mike Knox
JTG defeated Chris Jericho
The Great Khali defeated Ricky Ortiz
Jeff Hardy defeted CM Punk

WWE Friday Night Smackdown 8/7/09 Review

CM Punk was out to ring side and giving a heel promo, guised as a face promo? He was talking about how the fans need him, and that he is better than Hardy because he doesn’t drink, smoke, or do drugs.

CM Punk vs Jeff Hardy no contest

This match never got off the ground, the two were fighting so hard that it prompted security to come out and separate them. This was so out of control that it prompted Vince McMahon to come out and talk about how Teddy Long is on probation, and introduced a new guest enforcer for the title match between Hardy and Punk.

The guest enforcer is, to be announced.

Hardy then lunged at Punk, and Punk escaped to ringside. This match for all intents and purposes was a no contest, for now.

John Morrison defeated Tyson Kidd

I admit, Morrison is good, but I’m not a fan. Kidd is ok, but I’m not a fan either. Maybe the two could wake me up from my pizza coma, as I had pizza for dinner. Early on the match was somewhat slow, to start, however once the battle went to the floor Kidd got the leg up, and was overpowering Morrison with the numbers game. Morisson, after the break, was all over Kidd with heavy weight moves. Including a signature Standing Moonsault, creating a near fall that jolted him. Kidd was trying to keep up, but was actually out wrestled by a heavier, more agile Morrison. Morrison did get into a cross submission maneuver, and looked decent, but it just seemed a little sloppy in comparison to Morrison. Morrison hit Starship Pain on Kidd’s FACE! No doubt hurting the lad, and this match was over. Kidd got hit hard, I’m surprised that Kidd wasn’t legit knocked out, as Morrison looked a little bit callous and reckless with that final move for the win.

Slam Master J defeated Charlie Haas

Jam Master J picked up his first win on Smackdown as a solo wrestler. Haas did ok, but this was another job well done for good ol’ Charlie Haas who just basically laid down for Master J to win. This was another one of Charlie Haas’s losses, face it, he’s on his way out.

Dolph Ziggler defeated Finlay, R Truth, and Mike Knox

This match featured four IC title contenders, in a free for all type match. Each one was hitting hard and no one was getting the clear advantage early on. Mike Knox looked like he was going to win this one, but after a few near falls, it was a cluster of humanity in the ring. Each member getting shots on the other, eventually it was Dolph Ziggler getting over with a pinfall. Ziggler wasn’t a major factor in this match, and in fact the only one that seemed to get a big reaction was R Truth, but it was to no avail, Ziggler will once again try to steal the show with Rey for the Intercontinental title at summerslam.

JTG defeated Chris Jericho

Chris Jericho can make anyone look good and he proved it in this match. JTG is not a top worker, yet he strung together an alright match with none other than Jericho, who is simply on top of his game right now. The two exchanged some quick pinfalls, and near misses, with Jericho putting over JTG in the end. JTG hit a nice top rope leg drop, and when Jericho thought he had won this one after a codebreaker, JTG managed to roll up Jericho while he was arguing with the ref, getting the quick pinfall! JTG defeated Jericho, and this match wasn’t half bad.

The Great Khali defeated Ricky Ortiz

Ricky Ortiz might be on his way out too, because he just lost in like 5 minutes. Khali hit the plunge and then pinned Ortiz with ease. A total squash; maybe Ortiz is next to get thrown out aka fired.

Jeff hardy defeated CM Punk w/ special guest enforcer Matt hardy

Matt Hardy is back and he has his cast off. He looks to have gained a little weight too, and he’s going to be the enforcer!

Jeff Hardy started this match like the champ, fast and easily putting Punk at bay, holding onto the overall aptitude of the match up. Punk turned things around after the commercial break and looked like he was going to get the upper hand in this match up, but wasn’t able to counter some of Hardy’s offense, which sometimes came out of nowhere with no way to telegraph things. Punk hit a picture perfect top rope superplex and was ready to hit the GTS, looking like the title was in his reach, but instead decided to punish hardy a little before hand, allowing Hardy to reverse it, only to get into a nearfall yet again. Punk jumped to the outside where Matt and Jeff had to face each other, but nothing happened…until Punk baseball slid Matt to the floor! Hardy capitalized on the distraction and hit the Twist of Fate then went for the Swanton Bomb, but Punk got his knees up! Matt pulled the referee while Punk was at a 2 count! Hardy then hit a nice roll up, and Matt counted really fast, allowing Hardy to win the match, and punk was left mad at Matt! Punk then chased Matt…this thing has some interesting turning points, it’ll be interesting to see where this all goes in the near future.

Smackdown wasn’t all that great. However, after last night’s terrible night of wrestling, this was much appreciated.

Post match, Punk once again pummeled Jeff Hardy, hitting him with a chair and making short work of Hardy, too bad it was after the match was over!

ECW on Scifi 6/23/09 Results and Review Swagger Hunting

ECW on Scifi 6/23/09 Results

Evan Bourne defeated Tyson Kidd
Finlay defeated Zack Ryder
Jack Swagger & Mark Henry defeated Christian & Tommy Dreamer

ECW on Scifi 6/23/09 Review

ECW opens up yet again to a silent no commentators crowd shot, then in came in some random idiot…right Todd Grisham.

Evan Bourne defeated Tyson Kidd

I’m not sure why the Wwe gave this singles match away for free. This thing had serious ppv quality written all over it, at least in theory. The match wasn’t half bad, Evan Bourne had his mid section taped and was favoring it. Kidd also focused on the hurt ribs, which was interesting. This thing started to pick up, Tyson Kidd somehow pulled it off, winning this one. This wasn’t the first time these two met, which was weird. Bourne isn’t doing so great in mixing up his matches, they are starting to feel too predictable, and just like Rey Mysterio, he needs a better opponent.

Finlay defeated Zack Ryder

Zack Ryder fought Finlay in a good amount of time, he had a lot of offense in for being a glorified jobber. Finlay turned things around, as you would expect, and eventually put this one away. Ryder can’t possibly be getting much more of a push, he’s going to get buried and fired, might as well wish him his best on future endeavors….aka TNA.

Jack Swagger & Mark Henry defeated Christian & Tommy Dreamer

This tag team match seemed tacked on at the end. Sure it involves all the main event guys, but it just wasn’t worth while. The match had a few moments, but it’s painfully obvious to me that Dreamer isn’t really capable of carrying a match alone, therefore all four guys were making up for it. Christian had a few high spots, to create a better match up, but it just seemed like we saw this before, several times. Jack Swagger got the gut wrench powerbomb, and got another clean pin over Christian!

ECW was too fast, and I was too tired.

ECW on Scifi 6/2/09 Results and Review More Championship Turmoil

ECW on Scifi 6/2/09 Results

Evan Bourne defeated Mark Henry via disqualification
Zack Ryder defeated a jobber
Tommy Dreamer defeated Paul Burchill
Christian defeated Tyson Kidd

ECW on Scifi 6/2/09 Review

Evan Bourne defeated Mark Henry via disqualification

This match was not what I expected. I personally am tired of seeing the underdog, over sized match ups. I don’t need to see this “David and Goliath” type match every week. That’s how you get your smaller guys injured, as is what happened with Rey Mysterio earlier on in his career. So this was a standard big man small man match up with Mark Henry beating the crap out of Bourne and Bourne trying to hang on for his big comeback. So Tony Atlas basically got fired on the Evan Bourne comeback attempt. He interfered and the ref disqualified him, so it seemed that Mark Henry was fired. Evan Bourne wins a very boring match by dq.

I’ll tell you what. The announce team on ECW sucks. There are a TON of pauses because they don’t know what to say and more often than not you have to just make up your own commentary, it’s starting to get annoying.

Zack Ryder defeated a jobber

Zack Ryder’s new gimmick is like Dj Gabriel and Alex Wright mixed, it’s like a parody of a parody and it sucks. You can’t beat Tokyo Magnum and Alex Wright, the dancers, come on! This match was dumb, I hate ECW sometimes, it’s nothing like the old ECW and it just sucks, this crap is lame. This match was a jobbers match and it just was no fun to watch. Oh and the announce team sucks so bad, I’m serious, it’s getting bad. I admit though, Ryder’s finisher is nice, but will he hit it on anyone besides jobbers? We’ll have to wait and see.

Tommy Dreamer defeated Paul Burchill

Who commented that Paul Burchill had something going? He just lost to a glorified jobber. It’s hilarious to see how crappy Paul’s luck is in ECW. Well this match had him beating up Dreamer for a good portion of the match, but like in many matches of this kind, Tommy Dreamer ended up winning in an epic comeback.

Christian defeated Tyson Kidd

Tyson Kidd and Christian put on a nice little show on ECW. It wasn’t extreme but it was a nice back and forth match up, and it really showed you how well Kidd could wrestle. He is quite the athlete and he has a nice set of moves and counters to match Christian’s title reign right now. He still seems young, and therefore there are mistakes in his moves and it cost him with the veteran catching Kidd in several moments, delivering power moves as a result. Christian played aloof a few times, but he just kept in there and it looked as though he was going to win this one. Swagger came down to distract a little and after a huge leg drop from the top rope, I thought he had won over Christian, but it wasn’t to be just yet. Tommy Dreamer came down to the ring to counter Swagger and he fought off the outside interference. Kidd and Christian tangled back inside but it was Christian with the kill switch that got the win for the ECW champion, in an instant classic match up.

Overall ECW was not bad, but the announce team was terrible. It’s like they just have one announcers not two, they need to just cancel ECW.

ECW on Scifi 5/26/09 Results and Review Another Setup

ECW on Scific 5/26/09 Results

Kozlov defeated two Jobbers
Evan Bourne defeated Mark Henry
Jack Swagger & The Hart Dynasty defeated Christian & Tommy Dreamer

ECW on Scifi 5/26/09 Review

Jack Swagger was called out by Christian, who was in ring babbling about how his peeps know what’s up. Funny thing for me was that I saw Christians last match a few years back at Smackdown live! I was fourth row from the ring, paid like $300 bucks on ebay for the gold. So Jack Swagger comes down and rambles about how he wants to pick the match type. Tiffany comes down and I just think abut her nude…I’m weird. Tiffany decides to bring down Tommy Dreamer to the ring…awesome. Tiffany says that Dreamer will get a shot at the ECW title one last time before his contract expires in an extreme triple threat match. We’ll see how it goes at Extreme rules…which I won’t see cause I’m broke!

Kozlov defeated two Jobbers

Vladimir Kozlov defeated a random jobber. It looked like Kaos to me, from PWG, XPW and indie wrestling fame. It most certainly was Kaos! The other dude (the white dude) I had no idea who that was. Kozlov killed and that was that. It sucks to see Kaos get beat up with no offense, I’ve seen him wrestle in the indie’s and he’s actually god at times.

Evan Bourne defeated Mark Henry

This match was one sided throughout. It was easy to see who would win and I knew where the match was going at the get go. Evan Bourne got beat up for most of the match, then pulled a feather from his cap and won out of the blue miraculously. I’m not a big fan of the david vs goliath thing that we are seeing with Bourne, but I guess he’s just Rey Mysterio 2.0 at this point. Since Mysterio is injury prone maybe Bourne will jump in to fill that high flying role, since he’s younger and now slaying “giants”. Lame match.

Jack Swagger & The Hart Dynasty defeated Christian & Tommy Dreamer

This was such a boring match. DH Smith is so slow, he sucks and Tyson Kid had this match in slow motion for a lot of it. Man, even the announce team was silent for a lot of stretches in this match up. What a terrible match up, and really lack luster commentating team, randomly quiet and really just stupid. It’s like they did this show in post, and not live at all. By the time Christian got in with a hot tag, things started to pick up and I got interested again. The finish was Swagger winning with the gut wrench power bomb after sending Christian into the ring post…what a terrible match.

ECW was a terrible show, the WWE has everything on cruise control, because it’s not exciting and even the announcers are bored.

ECW on Scifi 5/12/9 Results and Review Swagger stops By Again

ECW on Scifi 5/12/09 Results

Mark Henry defeated Tommy Dreamer
Finlay defeated Tyson Kidd via dq
Vladimir Kozlov defeated a jobber

Ecw on Scifi 5/12/09 Review

The show opened up with Christian and Jack Swagger talking to the general manager. It was the worst promo I’ve seen in a long time. Such a stale bit of backstage introduction, that I wanted to just go back to bed.

Mark Henry defeated Tommy Dreamer

Tommy almost had me believing that he could make a comeback in ECW, however it just didn’t work. Mark Henry got worked and basically just lost this match up due to brute force. Mark Henry was never too far away from control, and Tommy Dreamer did have a few moments of greatness, but not enough to win this match, so Dreamer is on his way out.

Finlay defeated Tyson Kidd via dq

This match was very back and forth with Tyson Kidd and Finlay exchanging various points in this match up. This was probably one of the better matches in ECW lately as the two were really putting their best foot forward as far as mat wrestling was concerned. However, Finlay looked like he was getting the edge against Tyson Kidd only to have the rug swept from under him, with the DH Smith interfering.

For those of you that don’t know DH Smith is the son of The British Bulldog. He’s considerably smaller, and at the end of the match the two performed The Heart Attack, the move made famous by the old Hart Foundation.

Vladimir Kozlov defeated a jobber

Kozlov defeated some random jobber, it was stupid and nothing really happened.

Christian had his Peep Show with the former ECW champion as the guest. Jack Swagger was in ring verbally sparring with Christian, or trying to anyways. It was kind of funny, but that was about it.

Ecw was lame this week.

****NOTE

I’ll be out of town this next few days. I will only have smaller updates and no reviews until next Tuesday with the Raw review. If you really want to help, buty something from amazon so I can get a ppv or two, it’s costing more than it should. If not, that’s cool, I’ll be back next week with more.

Ecw on Scifi 5/5/09 Results and Review Late Starter

I forgot to set my dvr to record this early on, and ended up missing the very beginning of this one, but I’ll review it based on what I started at.

Ecw on Scifi 5/5/09 Results

Evan Bourne defeated Tyson Kidd
Vladimir Kozlov defeated Jesse Guilmette
Mark Henry and Jack Swagger defeated Tommy Dreamer and Christian

Ecw on Scifi 5/5/09 Review

Evan Bourne defeated Tyson Kidd

My dvr picked this up at the midpoint of the Tyson Kidd match up against Evan Bourne. Kidd was slowing down the match up completely. Kidd was making this boring to me, and I didn’t really enjoy the mid point of this match at all. I admit though Kidd has amazing timing, and so does Bourne. The tilt a whirl back breaker was as good if not better than anything you might see in Lucha Libre lately. Evan Bourne kept trying to mount a comeback and eventually got a slight edge over Tyson Kidd with a short knee to the chin from a standing position (no not the high or low knee by Triple H). Natalya got involved into this match and nearly cost Evan Bourne. Finlay came down to regulate, hit Kidd and allowed Bourne to hit the Shooting Star press for the win over Tyson! Overall a good match but the announce team weren’t to excited at this match and it made me kind of tired. Those dudes need to get a little more excited about their jobs, I mean they aren’t rocket scientists.

Jack Swagger was in the ring talking and griping, but Tommy Dreamer ran down and taught him a quick lesson, Swagger ran away and looked at the camera angrily. Zack Ryder showed up backstage and there was some random Hot chick and it reminded me of my old Manager Vickie, she was kind of hot. I heard some stories….I’ll just stop there.

Vladimir Kozlov defeated Jesse Guilmette

Kozlov bulldozed his way through this no name jobber. I don’t like these jobber matches. I haven’t liked them since I was a kid. I don’t think that Kozlov needs any help to prove that he’s a monster. He hasn’t even been tested on ECW and is just filler. I wish I had a job where I just beat up a jobber and then went home. Instead I have to work 9 to 5 like a chump.

Christian vs Mark Henry No Contest

Christian had this match in control but out came Jack Swagger to mop up then Tommy Dreamer came out to fight Jack Swagger. This match wasn’t going anywhere, until the interruption. Out came the general manager and she declared a tag team match. So after the break we started a new tag team match instead of the singles match of boredom.

Mark Henry and Jack Swagger defeated Tommy Dreamer and Christian

This match picked up midway through a tag team match up and it looked as though Mark Henry and Jack Swagger had things going in their favor. Tommy Dreamer got a hot tag and he was making the best of it. He had Swagger in the Tree of Woe, Mark Henry ran into Swagger and then it seemed like clockwork, Dreamer and Christian were throwing down like it was 1999. Swagger changes the course of this match with an exposed middle turnbuckle and the Swagger bomb for the win. So there you have it, the douchebag All American American wins this match up.

Ecw on Scifi 4/28/09 Results and Review The Christian Era Begins

Ecw on Scifi 4/28/09 Results

Tyson Kidd defeated Finlay
Christian vs Tommy Dreamer No Contest

Ecw on Scifi 4/28/09 Review

The show opened up with Christian. Tommy Dreamer came down to ringside and was basically asking for a title shot. Jack Swagger came down to ringside as well. He called Tommy Dreamer a joke, and said that Christian cheated. The result of this Segment was that we would get an ECW title match later in the show.

Tyson Kidd defeated Finlay

Finlay and Tyson Kidd went at it in this match, and it was really good. I don’t like Tyson Kidd’s hair cut, but he can really wrestle. The last of the Hart dungeon, he really does show that he can hack it inside the ring. That being said, this match had a lot of technical mat wrestling to it. That’s something we don’t really see too much from all the wwe superstars. Kidd was working on Finlay’s leg for a good portion of the match, obviously setting something up for later down the match’s pipeline. This match was good, it was nice to see a new comer getting such trust in the ring, as he took control of this match at several points and looked like he was a veteran at different times. Tyson Kidd edged out a win using Finlay’s on weapon to beat Finlay.

Christian vs Tommy Dreamer No Contest

I may have said in the past that Tommy Dreamer should quit, but he pulled out some great points in this match. He actually looked half way decent in this match. Christian wasn’t having the easiest of times controlling Tommy Dreamer, and it was interesting to note that the ECW championship title was on the line, on a television show! Tommy Dreamer was lined up to win this one, at least that’s the story that was unfolding during the match up. He set up Christian for the Tree of Woe and right before he could deliver the final strike, Jack Swagger ran down and interfered on purpose, the match getting thrown out. They never tell you what the result is, so I just say it was a no contest.

A short ECW, not a great show at all.
