WWE Monday NIght Raw 1/30/12 Review and What not

Alright, I finally got my shot at watching wrestling, and it's been a long time coming. I'm not going to write longwinded reviews like I used to, as I do not have enough time to get that all working and done. Consider this to be a new beginning on this wrestling site. I will need a news guy, so if you're reading this and want to send me news to post (once daily) email me at sir jorge at gmail dot com, the position doesn't pay anything (i don't make any money yet) but it would be nice to have posts daily.

Standout moments on Raw were few and far between, there were 3 reasons why you want to go back and watch this crap again.

1. Daniel Bryan vs. Cm Punk - Champion versus champion on raw? This was a great match that was booked to make both men strong. The match was a string of moves that were not at all forced, and just seemed natural. These two really are the best at what they are doing, and the crowd seemed to enjoy the show. The ending was perfect, protecting both champions and setting up what will be a good Wrestlemania moment.

2. Undertaker - I still say the streak is over rated, but amidst Triple H firing someone, out came the Undertaker. The Undertaker essentially set up a rematch with Triple H for Wrestlemania, and you know what? I don't care, you didn't care, but we will all mark out anyway as the dead man retires after 20-0 at the big event. I would've much rather seen someone else, like even Sting go out there and take on the dead man.

3. Kane, Cena, and Eve - Eve is hot, have you seen her eyes? I love her. Beth Phoenix made it easy to beat her, but out came Kane followed by Cena and it was awesome. I'm starting to go with whatever WWE sends out, simply because there is no #2 company that can compete.

So there you have it, 3 things that makes you want to check out Raw if you missed it. I enjoyed the show, although truncated in some ways. You can see more of the show, pictures, and more via wwe online.

The WWE is promoting their new Tornado Takedown Ring and you can buy yours here. It helps me out, it helps you out, so click here to purchase the ring and have fun today!

WWE Friday Night Smackdown 2/11/11 Results and Review

The first thing I noticed was that without the commercials, Smackdown was only 1 hour and 13 minutes long. That's NOT 2 hours of wrestling at all. Of all the DVD's I missed in the last few years, I'm not going to miss the Royal Rumble 2011 dvd, now that I've seen the recap from the opening of Smackdown. We had a recap of last week, which is great for me, since I missed it last week. The editing from the WWE is phenomenal, I love it. They really made last week's main event look incredible.

I love Greenday's previous works (from their 7" records to Warning) and their new work sucks, complete with the Smackdown song, it sucks. Whatever happened to those idiots?

The show opened up with my favorite heel, ALBERTO DEL RIO! A little throwback to my personal name, Jorge ALBERTO! JORGE ALBERTO DEL RIO! I like the sound of it, but you, you already knew that.

Del Rio had a full valentines day set, and Kofi kingston wrecked it completely, and chased Del Rio out. It was a nice throwback to all those shows from the past.

BOOKER T on COLOR COMMENTARY IS AWESOME! I LOVED HEARING BOOKER T!

Kofi Kingston and Del Rio locked horns in this next match and I thought it worked out well. Kofi had a great fast paced offensive style, meanwhile Alberto Del Rio was trying to counter and slow things down, but he wasn't able to contain all of Kofi, until mid way through the match. Booker is a great color guy, I loved it. I HATE Cole. The end of the match had Del Rio putting on his arm bar and that was that, Kofi tapped out. A good competitive television match, and something that Raw isn't getting 90% of the time, but you, you already knew that!

Alberto Del Rio defeated Kofi Kingston

I absolutely love how over with the crowd the tag team champions are. Santino and Kozlov get a reaction better than ANY other tag team in WWE. The corre is awful.

Justin Gabriel took a great deal of offense to Kozlov, which was interesting to see indeed. Gabriel should be his own man, he doesn't need to be with Corre at all. Kozlov used a lot of power moves, and it was actually interesting to see. The Corre at ringside interfered but Santino was outside regulating with a COBRA! Kozlov eventually went forward, right into a 450 splash and lost!

Justin Gabriel defeated Kozlov

After the match, The Corre beat up the tag team champions.

Up next Drew McIntyre faced Chris Masters. These two jobbers suck. This match was ok to say the least, and no one cared. Masters did throw up some nice moments, including a nice throw up sit down power bomb! McIntyre won after Masters flew off the top rope and couldn't recover. McIntyre hit the Future Shock DDT on Masters and this match was over. Goodbye Chris Masters...hope you enjoy TNA.

Drew McIntyre defeated Chris Masters

Everyone on the internet keeps talking about how Rey Mysterio is injured, but after watching him against Wade Barrett, I'm calling BS on the whole thing. Rey Mysterio was all over Barrett and with a quick distraction out came the distraction and Wade got the win. However, the real story here is how can Mysterio be injured and perform so many spots with relative ease.

Wade Barrett defeated Rey Mysterio

The Corre came out and beat up Mysterio. Maybe they'll have an injury angle here? Big Show came out to help Mysterio and the Big guy took EVERYONE out!

BROOKLYN BROOKLYN! OUt came JTG to wrestle next and I didn't care, you didn't care, and Shad is doing a comic book. Things got even more boring when Kane came out. The Big Slow Machine. Kane buried JTG and he's going to be joining NEW JACK in TNA to reform the GANGSTAS.

Kane defeated JTG

Eve put on a show against Layla. I couldn't believe how much offense Eve Torres put up here, and really looked improved. Eve eventually hit some great spots including a standing moonsault, a Russian legsweep, and great dropkicks. Despite constant interference by Michaelle McCool, Layla still lost the match to Eve!

Eve defeated Layla

Post match, it looked like Laycool is on the verge of breaking up.

I still mark out huge for Edge and his entrance. He's the man! At least his entrances are.

Edge and Dolph Ziggler put on another great match up. The two work really well together and Ziggler is one of the best performers that the WWE has made in a long time. He has a lot of great in ring presence, and despite a terrible name and weird gimmick, he has overcome the stupidity to make one heck of a heel against Edge. The crowd was way into this match, yelling Vickie Sucks! The match would have many nearfalls for Ziggler, and Vickie would get really desperate towards the end, eventually setting up a spear of her own on Edge! Vickie ran straight into Edge and Edge didn't even budge! That was a great moment in Wrestling history! She then said she was injured, while she was distracted, Edge hit Ziggler with a huge SPEAR! However, because there was no ref, no one counted the pinfall. Edge then speared Ziggler again and Vickie saw it this time! Out came Clay Matthew of the GREENBAY PACKERS and he counted the 3 COUNT! EDGE THEN WON THE MATCH! Thanks to a little defensive help!

Edge defeated Ziggler

Overall this night of wrestling was the best of the week. I loved Smackdown and I'm hoping that the draft is done soon, so that some of the other guys get more wrestling action in. I loved watching and cheering for a change, although Michael Cole ruined it for me.

Michael Cole at the end of the show kept screaming out DOLPH ZIGGLER IS THE NEW CHAMPION! It was annoying as hell, and I'm hoping they fire him. I know, it's a long shot.

WWE Monday Night Raw 11/8/10 Results

The Bellas & Eve defeated The Other Divas
The Usos defeated The Hart Dynasty
Goldust defeated Ted Dibiase
John Cena defeated David Otunga
Sheamus vs. Santino (no contest)
Nexus defeated Team Raw w/ John Cena as a special guest referee

WWE Monday Night Raw 11/8/10 Review

The night opened up with John Cena reading some sort of declaration. Then Wade Barrett and the rest of the Nexus showed up and Wade Barrett talked to David Otunga about Smackdown's loss.

The Bellas & Eve defeated The Other Divas

This was the WORST match ever. This was stupid...I hated it. I hated it completely and so did everyone watching. I don't even know what happened, I just know that the Bellas won...and it was lame.

The Usos defeated The Hart Dynasty

Once again we see this match, and once again the Hart's lose. This sucks...once again I hated it.

Goldust defeated Ted Dibiase

This match wasn't all that great, but I found it more entertaining than the ppv match up. Goldust won the match and Oksana stole the Million Dollar Belt. This was just weird....the whole thing is odd.

John Cena defeated David Otunga

Not exactly a great match, but seeing David Otunga get beat up was cool. JOhn Cena basically buried Otunga, and rightfully so, I liked it.

They had, Tea Time with Santino and it was lame. Ugh. Kozlov and Santino invited Sheamus to the ring and they chatted, until a match was made with Sheamus and Santino.

Sheamus vs. Santino (no contest)

John Morrison saved Santino from further beatings. The match never really ended. Santino was dead. Morrison saves Santino, that's all that happened. OH right,

Santino didn't even have a chance.

Nexus defeated Team Raw w/ John Cena as a special guest referee

This match was entertaining enough, and it featured all the major components of Raw. Nexus however got the win with a little help from the Miz. That was that. I didn't hate this match, but I don't really care about the storyline anymore. I just am tired, maybe that's it. I don't know, it wasn't a great raw, but it wasn't the worst raw ever either.

WWE Monday Night Raw 8/2/10 Results and Review

WWE Monday Night Raw 8/2/10 Results

Edge vs. Wade Barret
Tamina, Alicia Fox, and Jillian defeated Eve, Natalya, and Gail Kim
John Cena defeated Chris Jericho
Great Khali defeated Ted Dibiase
Randy Orton defeated The Miz

WWE Monday Night Raw 8/2/10 Review

Quick sidenote before I begin my review. I would like to recommend the latest album from Against ME "White Crosses" available now, it's classic, and you'll like it. Order it here for as low as $5.

Edge started the show. He challenged Barret to a fight later tonight, then out came R Truth. Truth was trying to get Edge on his side, but it didn't look so good.

Edge vs. Wade Barret

Uh...nothing really happened in this match. Edge looked like he had this boring match won. But after hitting the Edge-ecution, Wade got to his senses and escaped the ring before he got hit with the spear. The rest of Nexus ran down and saved him, getting Edge to run away.

I guess the match ends in a no contest? What the heck? I hate this BS.

The Summerslam rewind was awesome! Mr. Perfect vs Bret Hart was such a classic. NO CURRENT MATCH is close to being as good! NONE!

Tamina, Alicia Fox, and Jillian defeated Eve, Natalya, and Gail Kim

I'm tired of the divas, aren't you? Why do they even try? I am so sick of women's wrestling in the WWE. There was some insane botches in this match, and Alicia Fox won...so boring, and so terrible. How can women wrestlers BOTCH so much?

Melina came down and roughed up Alicia Fox. I hate Melina.

Sheamus defeated Goldust

Sheamus made quick work of Goldust. Sure Goldust wasn't completely buried, but might as well. This match sucked, I wish Goldust would get a better shake, but alas.

Sheamus got on the mic...ugh...so sick of Sheamus.

John Cena defeated Chris Jericho

This match sucked. NO, not even Chris Jericho could make Cena have a good match. Jericho is great, if he is in a quality program, but this CENA thing is stupid. SUPER CENA rolled through this match after his normal spots and reversals. The crowd was all Cena in this one. Jericho tapped faster than fast, before Cena could even fully lock in his STF. Jericho quit basically. But oh well. This match sucked. I'm sick of Cena, Sick of Jericho phoning it in.

John Cena asked Jericho to reconsider his position and stay with team Cena, but Jericho walked away! YES! YES YES! JERICHO IS DONE AND OUT! GOOD FOR HIM!

The new cena movie sucks.

Great Khali defeated Ted Dibiase

This match sucked. Dibiase got buried here by Khali. They are trying to make Khali a huge part of the SS main event, and well...it was odd. I remember when he was just a glorified jobber.

Randy orton defeated The Miz

The Miz was fighting hard in this one, and for once, I was actually convinced that the dude doesn't suck. He's actually quite good, and he's moving forward quite well. Orton was not his dominant self, he was fighting to retain some sort of resemblance to the legend killer status. However, just when I thought Miz had this one in the bag, out came the RKO and MIZ was out cold.

Sheamus ran down to the ring but Orton was ready and this night of wrestling was over.

Another ok Raw, but most of it sucked.

I don't like the way they are going with it, but the main event was a quality match with a nice ending, albeit fast and with no major pay off.

Eve defeated Maryse
Sheamus defeated Evan Bourne
Santino & Kozlov defeated Zack Ryder & William Regal

WWE Monday Night Raw 7/19/10 Review

Randy Orton defeated Edge & Chris Jericho in a triple threat match

I was surprised to see the opening match was a triple threat to see who'd the #1 contender to Sheamus's WWE Title would be. This match started off a little slow, as most triple threat matches start, and slowly became harder hitting and harder hitting. Jericho and Edge were getting worked by Orton, and the crowd was completely behind Orton in this match up. Despite hitting some major moments, and getting rid of Jericho and Edge on several occasions, it wasn't too clear that Orton would win this match up. All three men were getting hit with power moves and getting tossed outside, but the crowd seemed firmly behind Randy Orton in this one. I actually wasn't sure who'd get the nod, but had a feeling that maybe it was Orton's time. In predictable fashion, Orton won out and will once again get a title shot at Summerslam.

Remember this folks, ORTON's first reign as champion came at Summerslam by defeating Chris Benoit!

Edge got on the mic after the match and started yelling and wanted Chris Jericho to come out. Jericho told Edge that the Nexus were behind Jericho and that he is going to make them beat up Edge.

Nexus came out and Wade Barrett said that Jericho was right. They then mauled and beat up Edge! Jericho was yelling and directing orders and Edge was getting beat up! Jericho and the Nexus? That was awesome! Nexus and Jericho teaming up? The Nexus has a new leader?

Nope.

The Nexus stood there and watched Jericho, and Wade got back on the mic. Jericho punched Wade and then the Nexus group fought Jericho! Nexus beat up Jericho! YES YES YES! More beatdowns!

Too bad last night they looked like chumps.

The announcers still suck. Michael Cole is the worst. The King is ok, but Cole still sucks.

Sheamus tried to have a discussion with Wade Barrett but Wade walked away.

John Cena was backstage in an interview segment with Cole? Lame. Cena sucks, turn hell already! Seriously, turn heel!

Cena said he wanted Wade and the Nexus in the ring, and he said he has something to say to them. We'll see what happens...soon.

Eve defeated Maryse

Maryse is interesting enough, and she fought Eve. Maryse had a few moments in this one. Ted Dibiase was on commentary, and wasn't all that great. Eve got the win after a few minutes with Maryse's foot on the rope.

Post match, Dibiase argued with the ref, but out came John Morrison and hit or missed Starship Pain, and that was that.

I like the way WWE is writing as of late. They are building feuds by attacks, and storylines that feature “fighting” contingent on previous battles and controversies, rather than long building mic work. I like that. Morrison attacking Dibiase will build a nice feud, and let's all hope WWE can capitalize on it.

Sheamus came out and cut a promo. He talked about being dominant and all that stupid commentary that heels do, but it was interrupted by none other than The Miz. The Miz came out and started to talk to Sheamus about how he can cash it in and get the world title.

The general manager emailed in at this point, and I almost forgot that there was a weird general manager.

Sheamus defeated Evan Bourne

Evan Bourne did not just roll over and job out to Sheamus. Sheamus had some serious trouble in this match, with Bourne fighting through a lot of high spots and hitting the champion with everything he had. Sheamus did manage to cheat a few times, and hit some power moves, rest holds and his Bro-Kick to get the pinfall victory over Bourne. Not a terrible match, but I'm still not sold on Sheamus being good at all. I've yet to see him in an exciting match up, although Bourne did put on a good fight.

Post match, The Miz jumped in and hit Sheamus with the briefcase and was looking to cash in! The fans were going nuts, the ref was standing by, and Miz was trying to hit the Skullcrushing Finale, and it worked! Sheamus was out cold!

Miz cashed in the Money in the Bank after hitting the Skull Crushing Finale on SHEAMUS ON THE BRIEFCASE! I MARKED OUT HUGE and was going nuts, heart racing, marking out like a school girl! But the match was then waived and out ran R TRUTH! So Miz didn't cash in and fought off R Truth and took his case and ran away!

This sequence was awesome, Sheamus getting squarely knocked out was quite good, and Truth saved Sheamus here. Oh man, it was AWESOME!

Santino & Kozlov defeated Zack Ryder & William Regal

Once again we are fed this stupid match. I'm ok with Santino on Raw, but come on, his comedy routine is getting old now. Kozlov and Santino rolled through the jobbers of Raw and that was that. There wasn't too much to see here, except maybe Santino and the Cobra. Santino got the pin and that was that. I'm tired of these four guys.

Wade Barrett defeated Mark Henry

This match wasn't half bad. Wade Barrett fought hard and while Mark Henry wasn't an easy win for the Nexus leader, it was actually watchable and an ok match up. Barrett lifted Henry and hit his finisher but it looked horrible and botched. Henry could be a legit 400 pounds and it showed, even though Wade was able to put him on his shoulders and nearly deliver his finisher.

John Cena came out and faced the Nexus group. He said “I'm Sorry guys”. He then said that he wanted respect and that's about it.

Nexus said, No; to a truce.

Barrett wanted John Cena to join Nexus! That's right, John Cena was asked to join Nexus! Much like the New World Order was trying to get Benoit, and others to join, Cena was asked to join N.W.O 3000.

This was much like Foley joining the Corporation, Owen Hart joining the Nation of Domination, and the time Austin went corporate! Cena looked down and was about to join the Nexus crew....but....of course we couldn't have Super Cena do it, now could we? Nope. He didn't join.

John Cena, the chump, left the ring and said that he formulated a team that would take down Nexus at Summerslam. Who is on Team Cena?

Edge, John Morrison, R Truth, The Great Khali, Chris Jericho and Bret “The Hitman” Hart

That's right! Cena's Army vs. The Nexus at Summerslam! Nexus ran off, and this Summerslam in Los Angeles just got a lot hotter!

Look for a heel turn at Summerslam from Cena, or Hart, or someone. There's a 14 man tag at Summerslam! There's always a heel turn, always....don't forget.

The show ended with the groups watching each other, and that was the end of that.

Yep.

Raw was ok at best. There was a lot of set up for the ppv in a few weeks, and there was an ok amount of matches. Nothing too crazy.

WWE Monday Night Raw 7/5/10 Results and Review

WWE Monday Night Raw 7/5/10 Results

Ted Dibiase defeated John Morrison
The Miz vs R Truth (no contest)
Santino & Kozlov defeated William Regal & The Great Khali
Randy Orton & Evan Bourne defeated Chris Jericho & Edge
Alicia Fox defeated Eve

WWE Monday Night Raw 7/5/10 Review

The show began with the Nexus group in the ring, and were waiting for the mysterious general manager to show up and say something bad is going down. Your standard promo was cut here, with a variety of different things spoken, and stuff. Apparently, Nexus is now having fun with their roles, according to Skip Sheffield. I'm already tired of this group, and wish there were a more dominant figure above them, like Kevin Sullivan and the dungeon of doom.

An email came in and said that none of the Nexus could have a title shot for any WWE title. Then the email said that the Nexus and WWE Guys could beat each other up if need be. That prompted John Cena's music to hit and he came out looking for a fight, or at least another lame promo.

Cena didn't cut a long promo, and out came the Raw roster to fight Nexus, but was then jumped by the Heels of Raw. This was weird, but I guess it works. The roster was split completely between “good guys” and “bad guys”, so it's interesting to see that there's a fracture in the people that want to fight Nexus. I smell 10 man tag...just sayin.

Sheamus got on the mic, Orton got on the mic, and blah blah blah “we don't like nexus” “we don't care about etc...” I don't care. Random talking, we need more fighting! This segment was odd.

Another email came in and called for Barrett and Cena to call a truce. I wish they would just reveal the general manager already, I don't care for the emails any longer.

Ted Dibiase defeated John Morrison

This match was relatively short, and predictable. Morrison had some nice offense, but his character is getting stale. Morrison gets a thumb to the eye after Maryse distracts him, and Dibiase gets the win with Dream Street, and Dibiase has a new valet. I don't mind this, and it's nice to see a “manager” role in the WWE, like the old days.

Santino & Kozlov defeated William Regal & The Great Khali

This was a comedy match, to say the least. Sure there were some moments where wrestling prevailed, especially between William Regal and Kozlov as well as Santino, if you can call it wrestling. The match was fast though, and after Kozlov picked up the win, this thing just seemed like another comedic angle.

Post match, Great Khali beat up Regal.

Sheamus got into Arn Anderson's grill. It was funny to see Arn trying to convince Sheamus to fight Nexus. This sounds a lot like the promo that Arn Anderson cut right before he teamed up with Ric Flair to give Curt Hennig his spot as enforcer of the Four Horseman in 1996 (WCW). Remember? Hennig turned on Flair and Horseman at War Games and smashed Flairs head into a steel cage door! That also saw “evil sting” turn the real sting to “The Crow” Sting. Nexus and New World Order sounds all the same now.

The Miz vs R Truth (no contest)

This match wasn't much of a match. R Truth got his shoulder messed up, the ref stopped the match, and this thing was over. The Miz wins, or doesn't win, no one cares.

The Cutting Edge had Jericho in ring, and both Edge and Jericho started fighting, but it was Jericho that seemed to be getting the upper hand when he put on the Walls of Jericho on Edge. However, out ran Evan Bourne who embarrassed Edge and Jericho in a quick round about way. It was much like Rey Mysterio used to do.

An email was sent in, and the general manager seemed to be throwing in a little “Hell Yeah!” into there, which could only mean that STONE COLD is the general manager! Wouldn't that be something else? I guess it might work, but does Stone Cold Steve Austin want anything to do with the WWE on a regular schedule? I don't know.

Randy Orton & Evan Bourne defeated Chris Jericho & Edge

This match was interesting to note, it had a good amount of action. I liked the dynamic that Orton and Bourne had, and you got to give credit to Jericho for mouthing off against Edge at every moment. Edge did a good amount of work in this match with Bourne, and Bourne took a lot of abuse throughout the match. Orton was light, and didn't risk getting further injured. Bourne went up to the top rope and hit Airbourne (The shooting star press) and pinned Jericho yet again! This was actually good, once the rest holds were done with, and really did provide a good amount of entertainment.

Post match, Bourne was hit with a huge RKO, which got a lot of fan reaction. Orton hitting the RKO was quite good.

Nexus talked to Orton. Orton told Otunga and the rest to get out of his face.

Alicia Fox defeated Eve

The divas had a terrible looking match. I'm so sick of the divas...I wish WWE would get back to serious women's wrestling...instead of this bs.

Raw finally ended with no match, just another segment. Wade Barrett cut a promo and Cena was supposed to form a truce, but didn't want to shake Wade's hand. Cena dropped his mic, then looked poised to shake the big man's hand. He did so, then put Barrett into an Attitude Adjustment, but before he can hit it, the Nexus clan ran in and beat up Cena. Evan Bourne ran out and he got beat down too, then more superstars came running down, only to get beat up.

Mark Henry's music hit and he brought all the Raw guys to help Cenca out. Nexus battled the rest of the Raw roster and got beat down. This stunk of WCW 2000 and the stench remains. I'm so sick of seeing the same sort of canned wrestling product, and word on the street is that TNA is going to be running a similar angle with the ECW originals on their show. I'm getting so tired of this crap.

An email was sent in at the end of the show and the General Manager said that, he wanted peace, and if nothing stopped there would be consequences...blah blah....

Cena then put Darren Young in the STFU. White Cena put Black Cena in the STFU and looked very painful for once!

John Cena will now face Nexus in a handicap match next week. Cena then went back to the attack on Darrren Young. Young basically got killed in ring by Cena, it was a serious beat down...a serious beat down.

John Cena threw, I kid you not, he threw the steps at Darren Young. That's not PG, is it? THAT's NOT PG! He THREW THE STEPS, he didn't just hit Young with them, he THREW THE STEPS! Darren Young is dead. I haven't seen a beat down this big in a long time, Young just became a “made man”...then again, did Maven become a made man when Undertaker killed him for eliminating him out of the Royal Rumble?

If they do have a 7 on 1 handicap match next week and John Cena wins by a miracle, it will be the end of Nexus, and the end of the angle. Super Cena beating 7 men?

Remember the last time this happened?

Randy Savage and Macho Man defeated 8 guys in three tiered cage at Superbrawl. Could it happen again, only in WWE? Yes. Yes it can.

WWE Monday Night Raw 6/21/10 Results

Chris Jericho defeated Evan Bourne
Natalya vs Tamina
John Morrsion defeated Zack Ryder
Eve & The Great Khali defeated Alicia Fox & Primo Colon
Sheamus vs John Cena (no contest)

WWE Monday Night Raw 6/21/10 Review

Raw was definitely heavily anticipated by the world of wrestling due in large part to the way things went down at the ppv on Sunday. I was looking forward to seeing how things were going to be addressed and changed.

Vince McMahon came out and addressed the crowd by cutting what seemed to be a “heel” promo on Bret Hart. He relieved Bret Hart of his duties as general manager, and so that's the end of “The Hitman” and he fired him on the spot to a mixed reaction. Vince McMahon said that the new general manager will be doing things via email to a computer at the desk of the announcers.

The first thing announced was that the NXT 7 have in fact been hired and they will address the crowd later. That prompted Sheamus to come out with the WWE title, before McMahon could leave the ring.

Sheamus got on the mic and relinquished the title to McMahon, then took it back, and then gloated. He was receiving a mix of cheers and boos, I would rather just not have John Cena as champion, that's all. I don't think Sheamus is that good at all. Sheamus followed things up by thanking the NXT guys.

John Cena came out and went on about random crap, and still gets a positive reaction.

He invoked his rematch clause, and via emails the main event was booked with a special guest referee.

Tonight it will be John Cena vs Sheamus w/ special guest referee Mr. McMahon.

And the plot thickens! I liked how Raw began already, and it made me want to stay tuned for the main event with McMahon as guest referee. Will Vinnie Mac screw Cena? Will he screw Sheamus? I don't know?! And that's the great thing about pro-wrestling sometimes, not knowing what's around the corner.

Chris Jericho defeated Evan Bourne

In a rematch of the ppv match, Chris Jericho fought Evan Bourne. Bourne was getting a lot of punishment dumped on him by the former champion. This match wasn't nearly as good as the ppv match, but he was definitely putting on a show against the up and coming star. Evan Bourne looked all but beat towards the closing moments of this match, with Jericho softening him up for the Walls of Jericho or at least the Codebreaker, but Bourne kept fighting back and in an amazing Hurricanrana from a standing position, the tables turned and it seemed like Jericho was in for another loss. The Walls of Jericho got put on and the crowd went nuts, as the move was rolled through into position. Bourne got out of the move, and knocked Jericho out, he then went up for the shooting star press but Jericho put his knees up then hit the Walls of Jericho for the win over Evan Bourne. I liked this match far better than the previous one, with Bourne taking a knockout knee blow unprotected from Jericho.

Post match it looked like Jericho was going to do the classy thing and shake Bourne's hand, but he pushed him down and walked away.

Backstage Virgil was fired and replaced with Maryse. I guess that's the end of Virgil's second run in the WWE? I don't know.

Natalya vs Tamina (no contest)

The women got to put on an alright match, until the NXT rookies came to the ring and interupted the match up.

The NXT guys were ready to apologize but the Hart's jumped the NXT guys only to get beaten up easily. NXT basically ruined the last 2 weeks of build up, apologizing like chumps. Way to drop the ball.

The only good thing that came out of this was that the NXT 7 will now be part of the WWE roster, but furthermore the fact that there's a legitimate faction and stable in the WWE. It's about time there was a stable in pro-wrestling.

John Morrsion defeated Zack Ryder

I feel somewhere, somehow, that I”ve seen this match happen many times before. This match was average and while John Morrison is talented, he's not on par with Ryder. Yeah, I said that, Ryder is a little better in terms of persona than the “Shaman of Misses”. Does he ever land “Starship Pain”? Come on. The match had a few good moments, but overall this match was your standard singles fair from Morrison, eventually hitting his finisher, and landing it, which was odd. I didn't like this match, even though Ryder keeps on growing on me. Maybe I'm being too hard on these two, and these guys deserve some praise for a better than average Raw match up.

Eve & The Great Khali defeated Alicia Fox & Primo Colon

This match was your standard mixed tag. Alicia Fox and Eve fought most of the match until Primo and Khali played the “Big Man vs Small Man” routine, with Primo selling each move like he was going to die. The Punjabi Plunge finished off the much smaller Primo and Alicia Fox left the ring before anything too crazy could happen. I didn't like this at all, and was actually bored really. Khali is massive, that's for sure.

Randy Orton cut a promo, and I'm already sick of him. Blah Blah Blah Blah Blah I'm the Viper, I'm going to take your championship, Blah Blah Blah.

The Miz came out and interrupted. The Miz cut a major hell promo against Orton. I like what Miz said, he resounded what I've been saying for years on this blog: “I'm sick of seeing you in the main event, I'm sick of seeing you in yet another WWE title match”. The Miz told Orton to get to the back of the line.

The Miz said he was next in line to get a WWE Title Match. The Miz then attacked Orton, straight way, he didn't sugar coat it at all, but The Viper was striking and getting upset, but Miz rolled away only to have Edge run in and hit a nice Spear on Edge.

Edge said, “now the real fun begins, Randy”.

The only thing Randy has going for him is that his name reminds me of Macho Man Randy Savage, that's about it.

Sheamus vs John Cena (no contest)

Vince didn't become the ref, he was at ringside to make sure nothing happened at all.

This match was interesting to me. Basically, we had two guys that wrestled around 24 hours beforehand on a ppv, and yet showed no signs of being tired, beaten up or weary. Meanwhile, Sheamus was trying his best to match Super Cena's mediocre offense, and was actually doing more than most opponents. Sheamus looked way more winded at times than Cena, and it looked as though Cena was distracted at times.

The Cena chants were immense and this match was getting interesting as time wore on, and I was actually wondering whether or not Cnea would win the championship on Raw rather than in epic fashion on ppv.

The NXT guys came out and chased away Sheamus through the crowd. They then beat up John Cena, chased the announcers away, and threw the announce table on top of John Cena.

Vince McMahon did nothing at all to stop them.

Vince then got in ring and on the microphone. He told the NXT guys to leave Cena alone and then invited the NXT guys to enter the ring. He then introduced the NXT guys and said he was responsible for all of their actions.

Including choking out the ring announcer? Firing Daniel Bryan?

He said that next week the general manager was going to reveal something, and that's when the NXT guys started to look at McMahon with some mean faces. That's when I realized, much like everyone else realized, NXT was NOT run by McMahon at all!

The NXT guys circled Vince McMahon and this was going sour fast, and I marked out huge! The NXT guys beat the crap out of Vince McMahon! They put the boots to him, and they just kept going for it! I was going nuts, the crowd loved it, and I was wondering why in the world is this PG? They are beating the crap out of the CEO of the company! McMahon took a major beating, and NO ONE, and I do mean NO ONE came out to save him. Wade Barrett then hit his finisher on McMahon and this thing ended on another great note. I can't believe that this faction is so over, and they let Justin Gabriel hit the 450 splash on the CEO! If you missed RAW you missed another great ending, geez.

Once again, they beat up McMahon and NO ONE saved him, NO ONE. The fans chanted NXT as the guys walked away. The last image was McMahon dead in the ring. Yep.

It's finally an exciting time to be a pro-wrestling fan, WWE is finally doing it right and knocking this one out of the park.

WWE Monday Night Raw 5/31/10 Results and Review

WWE Monday Night Raw 5/31/10 Results

R Truth defeated Chris Jericho
Santino & Eve defeated Maryse & William Regal
Daniel Bryan defeated The Miz
John Cena & Evan Bourne defeated Edge & Sheamus

WWE Monday Night Raw 5/31/10 Review

I almost forgot that Raw was on tonight, as I’ve been jaded by wrestling lately, but I managed to check it out, and here’s my thoughts, and what not.

The Show opened up with Edge beating up Evan Bourne, but Bourne started to fight back and Edge was taking shots and looked weak against the high flyer. It’s important to understand that this was not a match, it was just the beginning of Raw. Bourne missed the shooting star press, and Edge got his bearings back only to hit the spear.

Edge got on the mic, and it was boring, I don’t like Edge right now, he’s not that great. Edge went on and on about the Fatal Fourway, I hate the fact that we might have to see Edge vs John Cena yet again. I’ve already seen them wrestle a million times.

Randy Orton came out to interrupt and while Edge ran his mouth, Orton simply hit the RKO and got on the ropes, that’s about it.

Let it be known yet again, that I hate the Raw Guest Hosts, I’m sick of them.

R Truth defeated Chris Jericho

Chris Jericho was like a man possessed during this match, and Truth was having a hard time fighting back. Jericho found a way to keep attacking, and controlling the match with relative ease. It’s interesting that Truth is the champion, yet Jericho was winning for the most part. Truth apparently isn’t the strongest champion, but I was predicting a superhero roll up and come back, ala John Cena. Of course, I was right, and Jericho lost out of the blue. Truth rolled out of the Walls of Jericho and won with ease.

Jericho seemed sad afterwards, and maybe he’s going to take time off. The match wasn’t that great, although it was longer than the average Raw match, or so it seemed. I liked it, although I didn’t like the predictable super hero ending, and recovering after a long beating. I wish there was a strong champion, that was just good, not easily worn down, but then miraculously fine at the end.

Santino & Eve defeated Maryse & William Regal

In a match that you would of missed if you blinked, Santino managed to win this match with a little help of Kozlov. This match was nothing more than filler, to say the least. Santino is ok, sometimes.

Bret Hart came out to cut a promo, I don’t know, I wasn’t paying too much attention, since my stream was lagging like crazy. He announced a three hour special for next week’s Raw with all talent, and forget the draft.

Ted Dibiase Jr came out with Virgil and got on the mic. He wanted to buy the general manager position next week. Ashton came on the screen and called for a viewers choice instead, and Bret agreed.

Vince McMahon showed up. That’s right, the real Mr. Mcmahon, the character, strutting to the ring, the guy they said was dead, is now back. Dibiase left, and McMahon got into the ring with Bret Hart. McMahon just said good luck to Bret Hart and that’s about it. Nothing crazy, nothing special, just random compliments and afterwards he left the ring and that’s that.

Orton got ambushed in the back by Edge, and this could be a way of writing Orton off the ppv.

Daniel Bryan defeated The Miz

In a shocker of sorts, Daniel Bryan squared off against THE MIZ! I kid you not, THE MIZ fought DANIEL BRYAN! What the heck? This was definitely peaking my interest in wrestling.

This match was back and forth for a few moments, then it was Daniel Bryan with the pin, and the win!

Post match The Miz threw Bryan out of the ring and that was that. Daniel Bryan pinned the Miz and won the match. Daniel Bryan got the best of the exchange by throwing Miz into Michael Cole at ring side.

The Rikishi kids cut a promo. I didn’t care. Whatever. They need to prove something to me, new tag teams won’t last anyways. New tag teams always get split up within 2 years time. Unless the WWE is turning things around, which is highly unlikely.

I guess since there’s no tag team division, any “tag team” that attacks the champions gets a title shot? I guess that’s what I get for trying to rationalize professional wrestling.

The Hart Dynasty came out and tried to fight, and they got beat up. I still don’t care.

Zack Ryder was in ring and Jerry Lawler came in and sat down. The Great Khali came out, and apparently was going to wrestle Ryder? What happened to Kahli taking time off and what not? I thought he was done? Oh well. Khali came in the ring and he was getting cheer in light of Ryder and Lawler and Kutcher on screen.

Goldust then came out. That’s right, Goldust. Ryder was frantic and Kutcher was going to reveal Ryder’s opponent, and it just wasn’t happening, and I was bored again. Until Alicia Fox knocked Ryder out, for what seemed like no reason…it was dumb, and I didn’t care.

So at around 7:41 pm EST the show was getting really boring, and this was just another Also, at t his point there were only 3 matches, lots of drivel, and a lot of boredom. With a roster as large as the WWE’s, you’d think there’d actually be wrestling on the show, but nope.

John Cena & Evan Bourne defeated Edge & Sheamus

Well, well, Evan Bourne was given a shot at the main event with John Cena. Since Orton re-injured his shoulder, the WWE put Bourne in there for this tag team match, and it’ll be interesting to see if he gets more opportunities like this. Bourne is a smaller guy, so he’s not exactly a gem for the WWE, but maybe they’ll figure it out and utilize his skills to their advantage. It’d b e nic,e if they brought back the Cruiserweight belt, that’s for sure

Bourne was hitting every move in his arsenal against Edge as the show went to break, which is interesting to note for sure. When Raw returned from break, Sheamus was doing a number on Cena, but Cena fought back and Evan Bourne got the tag and was taking it to Sheamus with ease, but that was short lived as Sheamus got control over the much smaller opponent.

The match was your standard tag team match, with neither team truly getting an upper hand. There was the signature “Cena” hot tag and he was on fire against Sheamus and Edge at one point. It’s funny to see Sheamus not know how to counter the obvious offense of Cena, even though a few weeks ago he had counters for nearly everything. Sheamus did turn things around and looked to have this thing in the bag, but nope, Cena hit an Attitude Adjustment and this thing was in the books as Edge threw himself out of the ring. The good guys win, as if there was any doubt and Cena is once again super Cena.

WWE Monday Night Raw 5/24/10 Results and Review

WWE Monday Night Raw 5/24/10 Results

Randy Orton defeated Batista via Forfeit
Sheamus defeated Mark Henry
Alicia Fox & Maryse defeated Gail Kim & Eve
R Truth defeated The Miz
Edge defeated John Cena and Edge in a triple threat match
The Hart Dynasty defeated Regal & Kozlov

WWE Monday Night Raw 5/24/10 Review

Batista opened the show, and was limping, had his ribs taped and his arm in a sling, with two referees helping him to the ring.

Bret Hart is the new Raw general manager, and he made a match with Batista (in a wheelchair) against Randy Orton. Batista said he’d quit if he was forced to wrestle, and he did. He went on a rant and quit.

I’m not sure where this angle is going, or if Batista is really quitting, but it’s interesting to note, that’s for sure. If Batista quits, fine, I just wish John Cena would quit.

Sheamus defeated Mark Henry

Mark Henry kept playing up his injured shoulder whenever it was convenient. Sheamus didn’t look too strong against the world’s strongest man, but eventually got the win, after Henry’s shoulder started acting up yet again.

Alicia Fox & Maryse defeated Gail Kim & Eve

Another boring divas match with little to no action. Sure there were moments, but nothing I’d like to elaborate, as it all sucked.

R Truth defeated The Miz

R Truth, after a commercial break, launched over the top rope and Miz did NOT catch him, landing on his head! That’s right folks, he landed on his HEAD! I’m surprised the match continued, he was obviously shaken, but he kept going, despite nearly killing himself on live television. The match was quite good, and surprising even. Truth is the new United States champion and the Miz was out cold. I liked this match, it was a rare gem to see a good championship match on Raw.

There was a segment where Jon Lovitz had a talent search, it was terrible; santino came out, some dude with a fake eye was out there, Ted Dibiase came out to buy the eye, it was just a convoluted mess. I’m so sick of the guest host thing on Raw.

The Hart Dynasty defeated Regal & Kozlov

This was just a waste of time. The Hart’s won an easy match up.

Post match, the team was attacked by the son’s of Rikishi and Jimmy Snuka’s daughter, yep, a new tag team.

I read the name online, but I have already forgotten them. I guess there’s a new tag team in town…but does anybody care?

Tomorrow, Michael Cole will demand an apology from Daniel Bryan…or Brian Danielson, whoever shows up.

Edge defeated John Cena and Edge in a triple threat match

This was dumb. It wasn’t a good match, it just seemed like a house show classic, except that Edge won and not Cena. I’m so sick of John Cena, I’m sick of Edge, and while Jericho can be classic, he wasn’t great here. The match wasn’t too long, and was formulaic as all triple threat matches are.

Post match, Sheamus came out and everyone stared each other down before Randy Orton came out, and that’s it. That’s your Raw for Monday night.

I am sick of WWE Raw, I’m sick of wrestling in general. I haven’t been so jaded about wrestling in quite a long time. Maybe it’s a combination of bad wrestling and the fact that I’m dead broke, have no job, and haven’t had a job interview in 8 months. I’ve never been so depressed and maybe it’s seeping through to watching wrestling.

WWE Monday Night Raw 4/12/10 Results

Eve defeated Maryse for the divas title
The Miz defeated DH Smith
Evan Bourne defeated Carlito
John Cena defeated David Otunga
Sheamus defeated Kofi Kingston
Kofi Kingston defeated Sheamus via disqualification
Randy Orton vs Batista no contest

The Divas fought in a Triple Threat Baywatch Triple Threat Tag Team Match

WWE Monday Night Raw 4/12/10 Review

David Hasselhoff opened up the show, and it got the crowd going, that’s for sure.

Eve defeated Maryse for the divas title

This match sucked. The best part was definitely Eve’s picture perfect Moonsault, which she missed. Eve won with a nice bridge roll up pinning combination. This was a short match, and a terrible one at that.

The Miz defeated DH Smith

Brett Hart came and talked to the champions and got DH Smith a match. If Smith won against the Miz the Hart Dynasty would get a title shot at Extreme Rulez.

The match wasn’t all that great, and I still can’t believe the Miz is getting over. Smith managed his own, but it was a majority of Miz offense that was getting center stage. I thought that Miz would lose here, but nope.

Next week, Bret Hart has to proclaim that Miz and Show are the greatest tag team ever.

This match wasn’t that good, and really did nothing to further the Hart Dynasty as a team. It’s just a matter of time before the two of those idiots become single wrestlers. You just wait.

David Otunga was backstage bantering with Batista and he ran into The Hoff for some funny bits. He put Otunga into a match with John Cena.

Evan Bourne defeated Carlito

These guys are still employed/ Carlito won this match and Carlito barely put up a fight. The match was watchable, but it wasn’t all that great. I’m tired of seeing lackluster wrestling on Raw. I remember the good ol days…when matches took time.

John Cena defeated David Otunga

Wow, Otunga has a match on Raw and has to wrestle John Cena! Honestly, I don’t dislike Otunga, and think he might actually get a contract. This match was all John Cena, it wasn’t even close, Otunga was forced to tap out fast.

Serious Batista was on the ramp, and got called out by John Cena. Batista started to walk down, but instead he decided to just stay on the ramp.

Kofi Kingston defeated Sheamus via disqualification

Remember when Kofi Kingston was actually important? It seems like a few months of botches has left Kofi getting squashed by Sheamus. Sure it was kind of competitive, but overall, it was Kingston that got the short end of the stick in this match. Sheamus was made to look way stronger than Kofi in this match, even though Kofi has more experience in the spotlight. I guess that’s just what happens….sigh. Not a good match, barely watchable. I’m not behind Sheamus at all. I don’t like him. Kofi did manage some offense, don’t get me wrong, but it just was going nowhere, and I could tell.

Post match, Sheamus beat up Kingstom some more. Kingston won, but come on, dq and a post match beat down? Sheamus really tore through Kingston, which was lame.

Carlito said he’d quit if he didn’t get traded to Smackdown. Kozlov said he’ll destroy McGruber….man I’m tired.

The Divas fought in a Triple Threat Baywatch Triple Threat Tag Team Match

There were three sets of tag teams that wrestled in this throwaway match. Santino was the guest referee, but man, this was just terrible. The Divas are some of the worst women’s wresters in the world. While there was a few moments of actual wrestling, the majority was just stupid, and wreckless. It’s said that even with so many women in the ring, Santino was the highlight. One of the Bella twins won the match, it sucked.

Hornswoggle came out as a lifeguard and did a Splash on Santino.

Randy Orton vs Batista no contest

This slow moving match had a few highlights. Orton is way over with the crowd, and he made this match somewhat interesting to me. Batista looked like he was tired mid-way through the match and was looking for ways to slow things down. Orton was getting hit hard with a lot of different offense, but managed to showcase his speed and agility against the Animal. Orton's viper move set really got a huge pop when he started to look mean against Orton. Batista got drilled with a DDT but he kicked out and made this thing somewhat more interesting. Orton's frustration towards the end of the match and his recoil made the crowd come alive again. Orton hit the RKO and was ready to put this one away, but out came Jack Swagger, and this match was a waste.

Swagger hit the Gutwrench Powerbomb on Orton and just left. What a waste of time...what a waste of time.

John Cena ran into the ring and put the STFU on Batista and wouldn't let go!

WWE Monday Night Raw this night was NOT that good. It was mediocre at best. Batista was out cold at the end, John Cena looked like super man, and I was tired after 4 hours of wrestling.

Was TNA Better tonight?

Heck no.

But Raw wasn't much better either.

WWE Monday Night Raw 3/1/10 Results and Review

WWE Monday Night Raw 3/1/10 Results

Randy Orton defeated Ted Dibiase via disqualification
Jack Swagger defeated Santino
MVP defeated Zack Ryder
Eve beat Maryse, Alicia Fox ,Jillian,Gail Kim, and Kelly Kelly
Big Show & The Miz defeated Dx

WWE Monday Night Raw 3/1/10 Review

Shawn Michaels opened up the show, in street clothes coming down to ringside. HBK cut a promo asking for someone to come out and say he couldn’t beat the undertaker, and that’s when Triple H’s music hit. HBK and Triple H talk about random crap including Dx getting their rematch for the Tag Team Titles tonight on Raw.

Triple H goes on to say that Undertaker’s streak is going to end and that HBK will do it.

Cheech and Chong did a sketch, more like Chong did a sketch with Hornswoggle…it was dumb.

Randy Orton defeated Ted Dibiase via disqualification

Randy Orton was struggling throughout this match up. Ted Dibiase was fighting like he was on ppv, and Orton was taking every hit, until he got really excited and was ready to hit the RKO. Cody Rhodes came down and interfered in the match up, leaving Rhodes and Dibiase to fight off Orton. The two teamed up leaving Orton to fight off both men at the same time. Orton got the better of the exchange getting both men to leave the ring.

Jack Swagger defeated Santino

Santino has the best shirt in the WWE right now. I wish I had money.

This was a squash match. Santino went from being Intercontinental Champion at one point…I think….to now what? Nothing.

John Cena cut a promo, and the crowd was insane. I didn’t care for it, but he called out Batista. Mind you, this is the top of the first hour and only two matches have occurred. Batista’s music hit and man did he get a nice reception too. Batista rolled out with a ton of security guards for what seems like no apparent reason.

MVP defeated Zack Ryder

MVP squashes Zack Ryder completely. Not even a fair match. Ryder buried, and fired if You ask me.

Eve beat Maryse, Alicia Fox ,Jillian,Gail Kim, and Kelly Kelly

This was stupid. A pillow fight. I don’t know what else to say about it. Eve wins and that was that.

At this point in the night I got tired of this but kept pegging along.

Bret Hart and Vince had a nice little promo of random crap. They did their thing, I was bored, looking forward to getting some grub.

Big Show & The Miz defeated Dx

Show started by trying to manhandle HBK and he was doing it well as Michaels was bumping like a champ. This match was going well and wasn’t half bad, but then Undertaker showed up on the big screen, Miz rolled up HBK and wins the match. So lame. What a load of suck.

Post match, Sheamus ran out and beat up Triple H as HBK ran back to the backstage area crying like a little idiot.

Final thoughts:

This night of wrestling was very forgettable to me.

WWE Superstars 2/4/10 Results and Review

That’s right folks, I got satellite television and with that means I now finally get WWE Superstars! So with the rest of the reviews, I’ll be doing a review of WWE Superstars as well. I’m still broke with no job, but saving $30 over cable is helping me a little. If you can spare some change for me to get a wrestling ppv, please do so with the donate button on the side of the site or buy something via amazon, I’d greatly appreciate it.

WWE Superstars 2/4/10 Results

Katie Lea & Alicia Fox defeated Kelly Kelly & Eve Torres
Evan Bourne defeated Carlito
John Morrison, The Great Khali & Matt Hardy defeated The Hart Dynasty & Drew McIntyre

WWE Superstars 2/4/10 Review

Katie Lea & Alicia Fox defeated Kelly Kelly & Eve Torres

This match was given a little bit of time, but the best wrestlers weren’t really in there long. These girls tried to put on a show and while there are some moments when you begin to think that these women are good, they clumsily go through a match and just rush to the finish. It wasn’t the worst divas match but it was far from great, that’s for sure.

Evan Bourne defeated Carlito

Wow, these guys don’t really get much of a shot on Raw each Monday but they are here putting on a show. Carlito is still good, he hasn’t gotten pushed but he still has skills. This match was insane, Bourne nearly killed Carlito at times. This was an amazing match that had people cheering like crazy. Bourne nearly killed Carlito with a top rope powerbomb and his 450 Splash. Back and forth these two put on a ppv quality match and it was a surprise for me to watch. These guys can work and it’s a real shame they aren’t on better shows doing more with their talent. This thing was awesome, I was marking out huge for a change.

John Morrison, The Great Khali & Matt Hardy defeated The Hart Dynasty & Drew McIntyre

Your standard six man tag match, I feel like I’ve already seen this one on Smackdown. Nothing too crazy happened, but it was fun to watch these guys work. They do well in these types of matches and it didn’t completely bore me. The crowd was dead for a lot of this match, showing just how many times we've seen this type of match if not this exact match up before. Hardy hit the Twist of Fate then tagged in khali, and DH SMITH went for the Punjabi Plunge and the match was over just like that.

Final Thoughts

This is a good overall wrestling show. They had at least one 4 star match, or at least 3 stars. I enjoyed the bulk of this show and am glad I can finally see it. I look forward to more wwe supserstars.

WWE Monday Night Raw 1/18/10 Results and Review The Comeback

First and foremost, I’m back. I didn’t get to review all the wrestling that happened the last week, because my dvr decided it wasn’t going to work while I wasn’t home. That’s ok. I will be doing new things this year for the site.

First and foremost, comments, keep em coming. Every week I will weigh in my opinion on your comments. Comment after each post, or send me an email: sir Jorge at GMAIL dot com or on aol instant messenger: thecorporatehero

Secondly, I will be asking for money. That’s right, I can’t afford any ppv and my cable bill just spiked. I’m trying to get a job, but in the meantime I need help. If you can donate, please do so by shopping at amazon.com here, or donate via the donation button on the site of the site.

And now, for the latest Monday Night Raw review…oh and yes your comments will be posted this week, alongside my comments, stay tuned.

WWE Monday Night Raw 1/18/10 Results

Sheamus defeated Evan Bourne
Mark Henry defeated Jack Swagger in a over the top rope swagger challenge
John Cena & Kofi Kingston defeated Legacy
Gail Kim & Eve Torres defeated Maryse & Alicia Fox
Randy Orton defeated Chris Masters
Dx w/ Hornswoggle defeated The Miz, John Heder, and The Big Show

WWE Monday Night Raw 1/18/10 Review

Vince McMahon came out and started to talk about Bret Hart and how he hates the fans. He was cutting a major heel promo, and it was one of the best I’ve seen in a long time. At times, I felt like he wasn’t even trying, he was just going from the heart. Say what you want about Vinnie Mac, but he seems to have a charisma that can sway the crowd into hating him fast. I like that, and it’s rare to see someone over in the WWE with just one promo…well…a long history of getting beat down after promos.

The Undertaker came out to interrupt things. Undertaker cut one of his classic promo’s, you know the ones where he talks about how he can see the fear in someone’s eyes. He cut a promo about how Hart was screwed over twice by McMahon.

He then moved onto address Shawn Michaels, as McMahon left the arena. Shawn Michaels came out to get an answer about wrestlemania. Undertaker says no, Shawn looks mad…oh well.

I don’t know if they will have another match, but I didn’t really think their last match was as good as I remembered it. In fact, I might go as far as saying that it is over rated.

Sheamus defeated Evan Bourne

How is Evan Bourne getting so many shots at the champion? Triple H wasn’t wrestling Scotty Too Hotty every other week! What the heck? I hate this type of booking…and I already know what is going to happen in this match. What a terrible way to come back to wrestling for me. Sheamus got a few shots in, but there was no chance in hell that he would win, there’s just no way. So he gets killed, and Sheamus wins again.

Orton was out at ring side for this match, and I’m not sure what’s going on with the booking. Sheamus and Orton met in the middle of the ring, and now Orton’s a face? What the heck? I like Heel vs Heel matchups but this seems a tad bit off to me.

Backstage Don Johnson and Dx got into some hilarious banter. Including, “Who is John Heder?” which was interesting none the less.

Carlito was dressed as Napoleon Dynamite, which was a bit of a chuckle, but the guest hosts tonight suck.

Santino got called out by Jack Swagger and Santino came out dressed as Don Johnson’s famous character from Miami Vice. Santino didn’t want to fight, so he found a replacement, Mark Henry.

Mark Henry defeated Jack Swagger in a over the top rope swagger challenge

Jack Swagger got thrown out fast in this match. It wasn’t even a match, it was a boring one, and fast. Swagger gets thrown out fast, which is hilarious.

Don Johnson and John Heder came out with the bella twins, and the two started in ring. I didn’t really like their banter as it wasn’t funny to me. The Miz came out as a friend of John Heder’s and that prompted Miz to get on the mic. MVP then came out only to get knocked out by The Big Show. The Big Show was then announced as a friend of heder’s too. This segment was so forced, it was ridiculous; I almost turned off Raw because of this.

John Cena & Kofi Kingston defeated Legacy

Dibiase has the charisma of a wet blanket. Cena got the best of him early on, and the match started with a fast paced tag team feel, despite Kofi and Cena not being the traditional tag team. Kofi Kingston has such a high winded offense, it’s surprising that the WWE hasn’t asked him to slow down. He just moves from spot to spot, and it seems like no one complains. Overall, I was surprised that Legacy actually had some offense that wasn’t just stomping and kicking. Cody Rhodes even looked a little better than usual, but wasn’t a major factor in regards to the overall match. Dibiase seemed to be the weak link in this match with Rhodes saving his partner from many moments of nearly losing. I definitely felt that they were going somewhere with this, and despite my previous comment about Rhodes not being a major factor, this thing was definitely better than most matches I’ve seen so far on the card. (that’s not saying much, there wasn’t exactly a lot of wrestling on this show up to this point) This match seemed to be going in the favor of Legacy and instead the good guys get a win over the failing legacy duo.

Post match, Rhodes seemed like he was going to attack Dibiase, but it didn’t go down. It’s going to happen soon, the separation of yet another tag team.

Once again, the backstage segments suck the life out of me. Hornswoggle challenged Heder to a match. Heder was added to the main event, which was interesting to say the least, and makes the match nothing special to me.

Gail Kim & Eve Torres defeated Maryse & Alicia Fox

Gail Kim was a great asset to TNA when she was back there. In the WWE she hasn’t done a whole lot, and that’s a shame. It’s interesting to note that she has some major skills, and it showed with a great dropkick off the top rope. Overall though, this match wasn’t much of a match, even though Maryse’s back breaker looked like it broke Kim’s back. The crowd was near dead as the divas tried to make this into a watchable affair. I’ll admit, this wasn’t the worst divas match I’ve seen, but it definitely wasn’t the best either. They have a long way to go before they can match the TNA Knockouts best matches. However, this one did have some above average wrestling for the divas, and maybe that will continue in the near future.

Randy Orton defeated Chris Masters

I’m not sure why Orton chased away Kennedy, because Masters hit Orton with a few moves that definitely were botched, but that’s all ok. Orton looked to be on the road to winning another match, but when the rko got countered by the Master Lock, I was cheering for a change. As Orton was fading, I was definitely cheering huge! But he got to the ropes, and I knew this one was going to go Orton’s way. Orton hit an RKO and this was over…oh well, at least it had me going for a moment.

Post match, Sheamus jumped in and attacked Orton, laying him out. I’ve never seen a kick be so devastating. Wow…one kick? Whatever.

Dx w/ Hornswoggle defeated The Miz, John Heder, and The Big Show

This match was nothing more than entertainment, which is fine. The match really didn’t have much wrestling, it had a few moments, with Big Show showcasing his strength and The Miz getting a few shots in. However, the best part came as the match broke down towards the end, with Heder getting inside the ring and getting worked! Overall, not half bad, I didn’t think it was a complete waste, but Dx goes over yet again.

Post match, Triple H threw out HBK, Cena, and Big Show and it looks like Dx is on the way out yet again too.

Final Thoughts:

Overall not the worst show. It had a few moments of goodness. It had a decent first hour main event. The charge towards Royal Rumble is in full effect, and overall I didn’t hate the show. I did think that there were some obvious boring moments, and overall this lacked overall wrestling.

The final moments of the night had Cena saying he was going to win the Rumble, HBK and HHH looking split in regards to winning the Rumble, and of course Big Show as well. I am not sure who’s going to win the Rumble, but I’m not as excited for this years rumble as I was in the past. I can’t afford it.

WWE Friday Night Smackdown 9/4/09 Results

The Great Khali & Finlay defeated Kane & Mike Knox
John Morrison defeated Rey Mysterio Jr to win the Intercontinental Championship Belt
Maria & Eve defeated Natalya & Layla
CM Punk vs Matt Hardy No Contest

WWE Friday Night Smackdown 9/4/09 Review

**NOTE*** I know it sucks to read about me, an idiot asking for money, but I could use a few dollars, so if you have spare change, please click here to buy stuff from amazon and help me in this time of need. I was let go from my job yesterday and am struggling.

Thank you. ****

Alright, now down to business, Smackdown had a lot of buzz, and my friend actually told me a result early, but I will pretend I didn’t hear it, so here we go, Smackdown after Summerslam, I think…I maybe wrong, I might be right, I don’t know. My mother in law will be in town again next week, but I’ll have reviews because I have no job now…awesome.

The night started with a Jeff Hardy package, talking about saving the memories. The dude is not my favorite, but he is one heck of a worker, and proves that a little guy could do a lot. I like Punk though, I like him a lot as a heel.

Cm Punk came out to Jeff Hardy’s music and dressed like Jeff Hardy, and basically got booed out of the building! That’s great, Smackdown is the #1 WWE show in my book right now, just with that opening. Punk spoke volumes about all sorts of things, and after a few paragraphs, out came Matt Hardy and immediately was beating up Punk, and guess what? He was over! The crowd was going nuts for Hardy which is nice to see, especially after his last run had him failing to get any reaction.

The Great Khali & Finlay defeated Kane & Mike Knox

This match was slow and not very good for the most part. I was bored with it, and while Knox and Finlay are the fasted guys in this match, this was just slow moving. Kane looks injured, his run to get thrown over the top rope looked like an old man trying to walk without his cane. Finlay hit Knox in the head with a weapon and it was all said and done. Yep…this match was so slow, and Khali barely got a shot at Kane. Finlay looked somewhat injured, but overall this thing was tiresome.

The divas drama backstage, is lame, and stupid. I hated it. I hate this part, WWE Smackdown isn’t the #1 show, it’s just a show.

John Morrison defeated Rey Mysterio Jr to win the Intercontinental Championship Belt

With Mysterio basically in the doghouse, and my friend telling me this was going to happen, I knew the outcome, but the match? Dang. The match had a lot of stiff moments, with Mysterio trying to get the better of Morrison and Morrison looking a bit stunned at times by the faster offense by his smaller opponent. At one point it looked like Mysterio injured himself or his back on a twist to the outside, things looked tough from that point forward for Mysterio and Morrison met him with enough intensity to earn himself respect, if nothing more. Morrison took some sick bumps to put over Mysterio as a worthwhile champion, and Morrison just looked down and out for a good portion of this match up. Morrison slowed this thing down with several rest holds, and really tried to get this thing slowed down, because if it were up to Rey he’d be high spotting himself to another win. Mysterio hit the 619 and I thought this one was won, but nope, Morrison hit a spinning kick to the face and this thing was on rails. I couldn’t believe this is a free match on television. Starship Pain was hit and BOOM we got a new Intercontinental Champion! This was a ppv caliber match up.

R Truth was coming down to ringside, and as he went into the ring he got beat up again by Drew McIntyre. Yep, a new guy, and he’s Scottish.

Maria & Eve defeated Natalya & Layla

Awesome, three out of four of these women can’t wrestle at all. I guess this is all they could come up with for the follow up to the Intercontinental Title match. This was one of the worst women matches I’ve ever seen. This match sucked. However, the women did pick it up towards the end, although, it’s just a crap division, I’m sorry, WWE has never done good with the women.

CM Punk vs Matt Hardy No Contest

Matt Hardy looks fat to me. I’m sorry, he just looks fat, and he’s not that great right now. He’s actually slow, and Punk was the one that seemed to be perfectly in shape and ready to go full speed. That being said, this match was half speed for the most part, with a lot of rest holds to slow the pace of the match. There were a few moments where I thought this thing was going to seriously make some moves, but it just didn’t happen. Towards the end of the match it appeared that Punk wasn’t going to be able to put away Hardy, but with a few mistakes on the behalf of Matt Hardy, Punk slowly got this thing to go in his direction. Punk got a steal chair out and started to go to work against Hardy, and for some reason wasn’t disqualified, even though hitting someone outside of the ring with a chair is technically not a legal move in the match. Furthermore, the count was not even going too far, when The Undertaker appeared out of nowhere! He then Chokeslammed the crap out of CM Punk through the announce table! This match was as good as done. No winner I guess…Matt hardy got tore up for no reason it seems.

WWE Friday Night Smackdown 7/31/09 Results and Review The Hardy Era Begins

WWE Friday Night Smackdown 7/31/09 Results

Cryme Tyme defeated The Hart Legacy
Eve Torres and Melina defeated Michelle McCool and Layla
Rey Mysterio & Finlay defeated Dolph Ziggler & Mike Knox
The Great Khali vs Charlie Haas no contest?
Jeff Hardy defeated John Morrison

WWE Friday Night Smackdown 7/31/09 Review

Jeff Hardy opened the show, with the Belt and the crowd roaring. He just gave the traditional, I’m high on the belt speech. Lame.

Cryme Tyme defeated The Hart Legacy

I still say that DH Smith is somewhat slow. Tyson Kidd is the speed of the team, and it showed, as he really took it to Shad in this match. In fact, JR even gave Kidd the nickname “Pitbull” that is usually reserved for Jamie Noble. It might not stick, but it was obvious that in his match, he was in top form against the former champions. JTG got tagged in, and it was actually getting good. Cryme Tyme looked like they were getting a second big push here in the WWE! After several near falls, Cryme Tyme got a #1 contender spot against the Champions at Summerslam. This match was fast paced, and not half bad.

Eve Torres and Melina defeated Michelle McCool and Layla

This math was hilarious. Your standard divas match, with the best wrestler nearly killing someone because they aren’t ready. Melina’s flippity floppy was interesting and took a lot of practice, I’m sure. That move was dang impressive. It was like a hurricanrana type flip into a pinning predicament? I don’t know, it was a weird move. I thought McCool’s team would win this one. But nope, upon the replay, it was simply a sunset flip over from a Widow’s peak position, not as impressive. This match wasn’t that great.

Rey Mysterio & Finlay defeated Dolph Ziggler & Mike Knox

This match was given some good time, considering the people involved. Knox and Ziggler worked really well as a team, and remained impressive in this match. Finlay took some major damage in the second part of this match, meanwhile Rey Mysterio was patiently waiting a tag. The heels were in perfect form, during the course of this match, playing up everything to the fullest, creating a good overall match up, despite Knox and Finlay not being main eventers or even upper mid card these days. Mysterio got the hot tag and was thwarted by a waiting Dolph Ziggler, but eventually was tagged in the face with a big kick. Mysterio had this thing won, but Knox thwarted the pinfall, and it was Ziggler and Finlay in ring towards the end, but they weren’t both legal men in ring, Mysterio hit a nice roll up and pinned Ziggler! A nice turn about match with good spots, and overall great style, despite two low carders and two high mid carders; I liked this match.

The Great Khali vs Charlie Haas no contest?

Charlie Haas has to be on his way out too, he hasn’t won a match in a long time. This match went nowhere, Kane interfered, Khali left the ring, no announcement was made, and we went to commercial break.

Jeff Hardy defeated John Morrison

This match was free, that was odd to me. These two could really go, and they did. For about thirty minutes they were exchanging rough hits, high spots, and great points to prove that they are worth their weight in the main event. The crowd was roaring, and each man was definitely getting great reversals during this match up. When one man would go for a signature move, the other would duck, roll, or just get out of the way, this is the smartest wrestling I’ve seen since Dolph Ziggler and Rey Mysterio at the ppv. Morrison had this match sewn up several times, it looked like he was going to win this thing with so many moves. From the kicks, to the reverse springboard kick off the middle rope, he seemed poised to take the belt so early. Hardy kept going to the top rope, missing several times, but late in the match he hit the Swanton Bomb, with the crowd roaring he went for the pin and it was to no avail! Morrison managed to kick out, and this match had the crowd reeling. When Morrison went for The Starship Pain, Hardy put his knees up, derailing Morrison’s hopes and eventually got the pin with the Twist of Fate setting up the massive three count. Great match, and for free? Yep.

Post Match C.M. Punk came out to congratulate Hardy. He raised his hand, and then got on the mic. He started talking then hit him with the MIC in the head, then threw him out of the ring and went on a full blown attack! Yes this is rad, finally a heel that doesn’t give a damn! Punk just made a believer out of me, assaulting Hardy with reckless abandon! Seriously, this has been the best Heel fight I’ve seen in a long time. Punk simply beat the hell out of Hardy for no apparent reason other than he doesn’t like him and that’s the goal of wrestling to me. Create feuds out of hatred for each other, and not just because of someone stealing their wife or something lame like that. Hardy beat the hell out of Hardy, it was great, Punk reminded me of Steve Austin, no, Kevin Sullivan, no Chris Benoit from 1996…I don’t know, he was out there and just putting the boots to Hardy with no care for himself or his opponent. I loved this ending.

WWE Friday Night Smackdown 7/24/09 Results and Review Night of Champions Preview

WWE Friday Night Smackdown 7/24/09 Results

Jeff Hardy defeated Chris Jericho
The Great Khali defeated Mike Knox
Dolph Ziggler defeated Finlay via countout
Eve Torres defeated Natalya
R Truth defeated Charlie Haas
Rey Mysterio defeated CM Punk via disqualification

WWE Friday Night Smackdown 7/24/09 Review

Jeff Hardy got on the mic and said some crap, I wasn’t paying attention, until Chris Jericho’s music hit and he came down. The two squared off in the opening bout.

Jeff Hardy defeated Chris Jericho

Chris Jericho started the match at full speed, but it was Jeff that kept turning things around, not letting Jericho have his way in this match at all and looking like a true champion. Jericho might have taken some hits, but he quickly turned this thing around, being the smarter technician in the ring. The two exchanged close calls, Hardy getting the most crowd involvement, but Jericho wasn’t letting him upstage him. Jericho had counters for a lot of great moments in this match, proving that Jericho should be the Champion that no one can top for a long time. He’s not having to cheat here, he simply has outsmarted Hardy at many moments. Hardy of course wasn’t giving up, so Jericho showed frustration, but given more time Jericho winning would not be too outlandish at all. Of course Jericho’s wit and quickness wasn’t to be the end all as Jericho pinned Jericho and gets the win. A good opening match, and good amount of wrestling for these two, great stuff here, if you missed it, check it out.

The Great Khali defeated Mike Knox

These two big men put on a match, it was passable as such, but nothing worth writing home about. Knox got some offense in with a distraction from Kane, who stood at the ramp watching, but it was Khali that put this one away with ease. Goodbye Mike Knox, and good riddance.

Dolph Ziggler now being walked out by none other than Maria, is not bad, not good either.

Dolph Ziggler defeated Finlay via countout

Wow, I hadn’t remembered Finlay was still active in WWE until he showed up for this match with Dolph Ziggler. If this match had more time I think it would have been a lot better. Ziggler was not dominating, Finlay had this thing well in hand, until it spilled onto the floor where Ziggler was cunning and managed to injure Finlay long enough to get a countout win, and a negative reaction from the crowd.
CM Punk was preaching a straightedge sermon. While I admire straightedge and enjoy the music that came out of the straightedge inception, but in wrestling? As a villain? I don’t know. Punk is sincerely trying to be a villain here, but I can’t hate him for being the way he is…but must force myself to cheer Hardy…No, Must resist…Punk…Punk…Punk.

Hardy came out and Punk left. That made the fans chant Hardy all the more. I didn’t.

Eve Torres defeated Natalya

Natalya was the obvious veteran, Eve was not timing things well and was taking a lot of punishment in ring. I said all that, but somehow, somewhere by some miracle Eve landed a moonsault! Natalya’s Surfboard was epic though, too little though, as Eve hit a moonsault that nearly broke her ankles, and Natalya loses….not sure why.

R Truth defeated Charlie Haas

R Truth came out to nice fan fare, which is much appreciated, I’m sure. He would have to contend with Charlie Haas. Let’s face it, even if Haas threw up the most impressive match ever, it wouldn’t matter because R Truth is going over these days. This match had a good flow, a little back and forth, but right when Haas seemed like he had things going, he lost with Truth going over after a nice Scissor kick, to rival Booker T in his prime. What’s up?!

Rey Mysterio defeated CM Punk via disqualification

These two put on a halfway decent match, with neither one getting the upper hand more so than the other. The equalizer from Punk was throwing Rey Mysterio into a ring post, and of course the WWE cut to commercial. This match had some real flow to it, but the commercial really took me out of the action. Punk hit a sweet tilt o world back breaker that was picture perfect, well placed onto Mysterio’s back. The champ really had Mysterio floored after that, and was working over Mysterio’s arm, a move that many people have focused on in the past. (I recall Dean Malenko’s top priority was Mysterio’s arm in his matches against Rey Mysterio for the Cruiserweight Belt in WCW) Dolph Ziggler showed up to watch the match at ringside, which I knew would play out later on in this match up. Mysterio hit a nice spring board press, but Ziggler decided to jump on the apron, and Punk capitalized with a nice heel kick, only for a two count, and this thing was ready to fall off the rails. Mysterio’s face got plastered with a knee to the face in the corner, and Punk was struggling to get this thing put away, but wasn’t able to get things done fast. Mysterio telegraphed a launch off the ropes and was in GTS position, only to counter and set up the 619! He then hit the splash and this match was over! But Ziggler ran in to break things up, and the match was thrown out…Mysterio wins!

Post match Ziggler gave Mysterio a major beating. Jeff hardy ran down to save Mysterio but that prompted CM Punk to chase down Hardy and hit a GTS to put a final exclamation point on the night!

This night of wrestling wasn’t half bad. I liked it. It had a few moments where I was starting to give up, like the Khali match. However, the opening and closing of the show was worth it. Jericho, Punk, Hardy and Mysterio are doing their thing and I don’t mind it that much. You might disagree though.

WWE Friday Night Smackdown 7/17/09 Results and Review More Building

WWE Friday Night Smackdown 7/17/09 Results

John Morrison defeated CM Punk in a non title match
Kane defeated R Truth
The Hart Dynasty defeated Cryme Tyme & Eve Torres
Chris Jericho & Dolph Ziggler defeated Rey Mysterio & Jeff Hardy via disqualification

WWE Friday Night Smackdown 7/17/09 Review

Jeff Hardy came down and started to ramble about nothing. He showcased CM Punk’s words from last week about how he hasn’t been in danger of losing his job with wwe. The two are terrible on the mic, terrible. I don’t know why are they trying to push these dudes to talk? They should just brawl. Jeff hit Punk, then he sat down like a chump, and that was that.

John Morrison defeated CM Punk in a non title match

I’m not sure why it is that Punk, being the champion, is working so hard to wrestle. Triple H once said that the champ shouldn’t be wrestling for free on television. Wait, it was Ric Flair that said that, nevermind. We saw this match before, and we saw John Morrison win, so why did they bring us this again for free? It makes no sense. I hope this doesn’t mean that we’ll have to watch these two wrestle as many times as Triple H and Orton have, because I’m going to throw a fit. This was mostly the same match saw a couple weeks ago, Morrison seemed to be getting a second win after being dominated by Punk’s offense. Morrison just kept hitting hard, and the timing was great, Punk wasn’t looking like the champ in this match towards the middle. As soon as I said that Punk reversed a Huricanrana, and the two exchanged near falls. Punk’s tilt-o-world back breaker was impressive, if you missed that, wow, it looked painful. Morrison once again gets the win with a random reversal into pinning combination, and PUNK looks dumb. I don’t know why the WWE is burying the champion, but that’s what’s going on with these stupid matches. I don’t see Triple H getting buried like this or Orton either, so dumb.

Layla was dancing out at ring side, it was lame. Ricky Ortiz came out and tried to Rally the crowd, but was failing miserably.

Kane defeated R Truth

Kane was dominant early on and was hitting some major blows but Truth was hitting Kane with some big dropkicks and leg drops, forcing Kane to be outside as we cut to commercial. Kane turned things around, but Truth would not go down. He kept fighting, even though he wasn’t winning the match easily, he just wouldn’t give up fighting back against the Big Red Machine. It would be short lived as Kane won after huge boot to the face.

The worst big man match out of Kane, I’ve seen in a long time. Kane sucks.

Post match out came The great Khali! Last time we saw Khali face Kane, Kane backed down and was scared! He once again ran like a chump. I told you Kane sucks.

The Hart Dynasty defeated Cryme Tyme & Eve Torres

The women started out this match, and quickly tagged in the men. Tyson Kidd started with Chad and was out weighed by the big man. JTG got tagged in and it seemed like no one cared about this match as the crowd was all but dead. The Harts took over this match with DH Smith getting into the mix. The match broke down and it got really boring. Natalya ended up winning the match, and that was that. Nothing to see here, really boring and mismatched overall; it was not a fun watch, I got bored fast.

Edge gave a weird interview, he was all sad. He doesn’t know if he’ll be back full strength. Chris Jericho came out and got on the mic, it was great. He really is amazing, this guy is the best WWE superstar active right now.

Chris Jericho & Dolph Ziggler defeated Rey Mysterio & Jeff Hardy via disqualification

CM Punk’s music hit and he walked down ringside to get onto Commentary during this match up.

The match started off with Hardy in trouble, and of course, we get straight to another commercial. Dolph Ziggler has improved a lot since the first time I saw him, he was in there holding his own against Jeff Hardy and making good work of this match up. Mysterio got tagged in and he was putting on a clinic against Jericho, and was close to pinning the former champion. Ziggler made a blind tag and was dropped on the back of his head from the apron. Ziggler, now the legal man pushed Mysterio to the limits, then went inside and tried to sew this one up. Ziggler is 100% heel, and I actually started to like him, he has the finesse of Rick Martel and the style of say….Mr Perfect? In some ways yes, in some ways no; however, he does have a Rick Martel looking style. Hardy got a hot tag, Jericho got back in this, and Hardy was steam rolling through the competition with everything he had and all sorts of fast paced high spots. He hit the Whisper in the Wind but Jericho was able to kick out! This match was being sewn up nicely by Hardy, even reversing the Walls of Jericho; Hardy going up for the Swanton and connecting, looked amazing. He didn’t count on Dolph Ziggler to break things up, and therefore he couldn’t win this one. Punk shoved Hardy, the bell started ringing. Punk looked like a big heel here. I’m not sure who won, what happened, but Jericho hit a nice code breaker on Hardy. Then Jericho hit Hardy with the Walls of Jericho and continued to punish him for Punk? This whole ending was so convoluted.

WWE took a page out of TNA’s play book by completely taking a crap on a match that was otherwise perfectly watchable and going for a proper finish and ended with no questions answered and some stupid situations. I don’t know what WWE wants me to think, or wants me to see in this piece of crap finish.

What a way to ruin Smackdown, man, I keep losing on these shows.
