WWE Monday Night Raw 8/15/11 Results and Review

The show opened up with a quick recap of the main event picture that was cleared up at Summerslam, and I thought it was interesting. The finish of the match reminded me a lot of Spring Stampede 98…I think it was 1998. Where Macho won the World Title from Sting after Kevin Nash power bombed Sting to hell. I liked that year’s match ups. That might have been Spring Stampede 1999…who cares.

I told you I was back. Here are my thoughts about Raw.

Triple H’s speech was ok…kind of boring and dragged out. He apologized, and went on about how he had nothing to do with Kevin Nash running in, and then handed the microphone over to Alberto Del Rio. Del Rio’s mic skills have always been up to snuff, but more so now as he is an interesting anti-hero, but will most likely end up being another run of the mill heel.

John Morrison defeated R Truth (Falls Count Anywhere)

I feel like I’ve seen every Morrison match there is to be done. Meanwhile, I feel like I’ve seen every R Truth match that can be done as well. This match had a few moments of cool, but overall it was just standard. There were some nice spots thrown in, including Truth and Morrison getting friendly with a high back office chair, but I wasn’t too impressed. Morrison is still quite good, albeit terrible promo…you’d think he’d be better by now.

The Miz did a long promo where he basically had an advertisement for Subway. I’m not a fan of getting a pillow case full of lettuce, I’m sorry.

Kelly Kelly & Rosa defeated The Bella Twins

The bathroom match happened here. I talked to my girlfriend, and then it was over. Apparently Rosa got the pin…Or something…who cares. I know you don’t.

Kevin Nash is looking good these days; too bad Scott Hall can’t get his act together. Kevin Nash explained his actions and what not, and out came CM Punk. Punk then lambasted Nash. Punk wanted to fight Nash, but security came out.

Jack Swagger defeated Alex Riley

This match was not too good at all, and it was made worse when Swagger couldn’t pick up Alex Riley for his finisher. Sadly, that was the end of that. Ziggler was on color commentary and he came out and started trouble with Riley, sadly, another boredom movement displayed here.

Evan Bourne & Kofi Kingston defeated David Otunga & Michael McGullicutty (non title)
I’m way out of the loop because this match didn’t seem like something I saw coming any time soon. The match up was fast paced towards the end, and Evan Bourne once again shined with his amazing shooting star press. I’m not sure if he can continue to do this type of maneuver forever, but for now, it’s quite good. This will most likely lead to a tag title match.

Alberto Del Rio defeated Rey Mysterio (WWE Title)

This match was interesting to say the least. The main reason being that the little guy supposedly is injured, and yet has no signs of wear and tear. Del Rio was fighting this thing off like a champ, I couldn’t believe how many shots to the dome Mysterio took, meanwhile Del Rio couldn’t put him away. Mysterio went for the top rope drop but Del Rio put his legs up and rolled up Mysterio for the pinfall victory, and this one was as clean as you can get for the Champion. Not a 4 star classic, but a nice main event for tonight’s Raw.

After the match Mysterio got the beat down, and afterwards John Cena ran down and beat him up. Cena did his “mad” good guy shtick, which was stupid to me.

Raw was actually watchable. There wasn't much wrestling, as per usual, but it was entertaining enough. I'm interested in seeing how far the relationship between Triple H and Kevin Nash goes. The rest, well it doesn't seem nearly as compelling.

WWE Monday Night Raw 2/14/11 Results and Review

Monday Night Raw was in my old home town, but I was stuck in Moscow Idaho, sucking it up like a chump. Three huge matches were announced, and I was excited for what could happen, and we get right into the first major match up, it was Punk and Cena and there must be a winner!

John Cena gets such a huge reaction, I gotta admit, I'm starting to warm to Cena. Cena started the show with a promo and worked the crowd. CM Punk was getting a huge amount of offense in this match up. He was hitting some great moves, in and out of the ring, and I was completely impressed with this match. PUnk is the real deal, he's not just a small guy, he's a great performer and wrestler! Punk was getting into trouble, and while out on the floor, out of nowhere, someone gave CM Punk a chair, but when the ref took the chair, out came an arm with a WRENCH! PUNK USED A WRENCH! CENA then gets hit with the GTS and Cena gets pinned! I LOVED IT! GREAT RAW MATCH! I LOVED IT!

CM Punk defeated John Cena

Alberto Del Rio cut a promo, and that prompted Edge to come out! The two brawled and it looked like Edge was going to get the upper hand, and he seemed to have Del Rio right where he wanted, but Del Rio didn't just roll over, the two brawled until Edge hit a nice spear and Del Rio was left outside. Edge got a huge crowd reaction, man, I wish I lived in L.A. still.

Vickie Guerrero came out and got some of the most heat I've heard in a long time. What a crowd! Dolph Ziggler came out and was introduced as the new World Champion! Ziggler came out to astounding boos. Vickie then accuses Edge of attacking Teddy Long.

The divas match was quite good, and I was surprised at how much time and effort was placed into the match up. This was a Lumberjill match and the two put on a good amount of offense. This wasn't just flopping and botching, there were some unique points, and good ending. The brawling outside was lame, and the finish seemed weird, but Eve got the win via a pinfall. The two shook hands, and this match did end up being better than 90% of the other divas matches I've seen in the past. I was impressed, that's for sure. Natalya loses yet again, but it wasn't a squash at all.

Eve defeated Natalya

Mark Henry was coming down to the ring but out came Sheamus to beat him up! Sheamus hit a BRO Kick (which is what I call it), and that was that. Sheamus got on the MIC, and said that he's going to knock everyone out of the Elimination Chamber this weekend.

The Miz got a shot at Daniel Bryan one on one, which was awesome! The two started fast and furious, with The Miz seriously pushing Bryan, despite being less experienced in pro-wrestling. The Miz was putting the boots to Bryan, and it was interesting to see. Bryan threw Miz out to the floor and eventually hit a nice Knee drop to The Miz off the apron which was nice. Bryan's Missile Dropkick was amazing to see, and the crowd was excited for this one. Miz managed to hit one hell of a move, a neck breaker from the second rope onto the apron ont he outside of the RING! It was sick looking! After the break Bryan hit a HUGE power bomb off the top, then kicked the hell out of Miz! This was seriously the best match I've seen on free tv in a long time! The Miz was completely getting worked here, this was not an easy match for the Champion. The Skull Crushing Finale was hit and Daniel Bryan loses to the Miz, but it was NOT easy...not easy at all, great match for the Miz and Bryan, I loved it.

The Miz defeated Daniel Bryan

Next up was a good overall tag team match up. John Morrison and R Truth worked together to put on a great entertaining, fast paced match up. Morrison and Truth were all over the place, and McGullicutty and Otunga couldn't match the power. Mason Ryn awas also on the outside, and that was interesting to see too, he looks like little Batista, it's weird. THe match was good, nothing crazy, just a good back and forth tag match. Truth and Morrison make a good team.

John Morrison & R Truth defeated Mike McGullicutty & David Otunga

They let some little girl from The Chaperone do the Khali kiss Cam! This was lame.

The new 2/21/11 promo was crazy, and UNDERTAKER was completely shown inside the house, then lights went out, and it showed a weird guy outside the cabin...and that was it. IS IT STING?! No... I think it's just taker...I wish it was Sting.

Sheamus and Orton put on an interesting match up next. It was a little slow at first but Orton would dictate the pace towards the end, speeding through some great moments as Sheamus was making rookie mistakes. I was surprised with Sheamus in this match as he was able to put on a good match with great counters. The Irish Curse backbreaker was nice, the Super Plex was a nice touch too, and this match was great right into the RKO! Sheamus gets buried here, and loses yet again to Super Orton.

Randy Orton defeated Sheamus

Post match, out ran Punk and the new Nexus. That prompted John Morrison to come down and beat up Punk! Then came out R Truth, trying to stop R Truth, then came out John Cena! Cnea was hitting anything that moved! This was just bedlam! Then there were RKO's everywhere! Cena and Orton completely cleaned up house and were left standing up to Nexus. So Nexus can be taken out by 2 men? Not much a team. Lame.

A mysterious woman came out of a Limo. Then it was announced...the host of Wrestlemania 27!

THE ROCK! THE ROCK HAS FINALLY COME BACK TO THE WWE! THE ROCK IS THE GUEST HOST OF WRESTLEMANIA 27! THE ROCK! THAT's RIGHT! THE ROCK! DO YOU SMELL WHAT THE ROCK IS COOKIN! THE ROCK came out to the crowd, and was completely welcomed, and the crowd went completely insane for this. I marked out a little, but I'm not a big Rock fan. The Rock cut an insane promo that was NOT PG, and it was great to see him.

He said that he was going to lay the Smackdown on someone at Wrestlemania. Before he could finish, the Anonymous general manager got a new message and The Rock completely killed Cole on the mic, and on the manager! The Rock called out JOHN CENA! THE ROCK CALLS OUT CENA! CENA VS THE ROCK WOULD SELL TICKETS! That's for sure! The ROCK completely buried John Cena! This is strange, I'm not sure I like this. The Rock completely buried John Cena and said that at Wrestlemania The Rock will see everyone at Mania. Wow.

I AM NOT thrilled with the Rock. Sure, it was an entertaining promo but he completely BURIED the WWE! He completely buried the product, did NOT go PG, and this was just insane. This was just insane, so stupid. I don't know, I'm not sold on this, I marked out initially but wow, The Rock buried the current generation of stars and wow...that was that.

Raw was great, don't get me wrong, but I am not 100% in agreement with this ending, I'm just not. I'm sorry.

WWE Monday Night Raw 2/7/11 Results and Review

I'm back in action with a review of Monday Night Raw. I'd like to thank all 2 readers that sometimes read this website. I completely understand that there are other sites, and I'm not worried about being #1 or anything, I do this because I personally love this crap, and yes it's been crap lately.

MR. McMahon showed up first and foremost. The crowd went nuts too. I'd love to meet McMahon, and discuss a few things, mainly how I can work for him as a web guy. He came out to a mediocre reaction with mixed feelings. McMahon said he'd introduce the guest host of Wrestlemania will be, and it sounds to me like it will be none other than Shawn Michaels.

Randy Orton came out and cut a promo, and it sucked. I can't stand Orton. Cm Punk came out to answer Randal! Punk said that he interfered in the match up because at Unforgiven 2008 Legacy beat the crap out of Punk and then PUNTED HIM in the head! I remember that vaguely, and it's nice to see that the WWE is using some older material to get motivation for Punk.

The New nexus came out and beat up Orton, for a few moments, and while Orton fought them, Punk was able to have his henchman beat up Orton. Punk recieved a bloody nose for his troubles as Orton didn't go down easily. Orton was then hit with a gruesome GTS, and that was that. Orton went down like a heap, then was mocked by Punk.

Faketista, Mason Ryan, Batista Lite, Batista 2, whatever you want to call him wrestled R Truth next and it was a relative squash match. Ryan beat up Truth than used a weird submission move to defeat Truth. I didn't know what the crowd was chanting, but I know what I was chanting, Batista! Batista! Oh wait, this is Mason Ryan. I really hope the WWE can get batista back so he can stand face to face with faketista!

R Truth defeated Mason Ryan (after the ref reversed the decision)

This match sucked. It featured minimal wrestling and lots of chatter with Michael Cole yelling at Natlya on commentary, and it sucked, I hated it. The match was ok, but Cole's ranting and yelling was so stupid that I couldn't get into the match. Eve won with a neckbreaker, I didn't care. Whatever.

Eve, Gail Kim and Tamina defeated Melina, The Bella twins

A new 2/21/11 promo aired and it had a Johnny Cash song in the background, which signals the return of The Undertaker, not Sting. I wish it was Sting...I guess I too got caught up with the whole thing.

McGullicutty might not be able to talk well on the live mic, but he has improved greatly in ring. He put on a good quick match with John Morrison even though Morrison was the one that got this thing won. Starship Pain actually landed and that was the end for Mike. Morrison isn't half bad at all, I like him.

John Morrison defeated Mike McGullicutty

Post match, CM Punk sprayed Morrison in the face with some sort of spray! Punk is all over the show, doing bad things, He's going to get completely beat down....it's just a matter of time before everyone unites to go after him.

Lawler and Miz squared off verbally before they ended up in fisticuffs. Lawler and Miz fought each other and Miz was not looking great at all, he was getting beat up! Ted Dibiase ran down and beat up Lawler. Daniel Bryan ran down and the General Manager made a match.

Daniel Bryan started the match quickly, with good offense. Speaking of which, when's the last time we saw a US Title defense? What a lousy title run. This match was your standard tag team match with Lawler and Bryan teaming well, and Miz and Dibiase taking a lot of bumps. After some outside grappling, Lawler was able to pin Ted Dibiase for the win!

Jerry Lawler & Daniel Bryan defeated The Miz and Ted Dibiase

Sheamus came out and talked trash, Otunga also came out and trid to get some shots in agaisnt Sheamus. Henry beat up Sheamus and then Otunga came out and raised his own hand. This was NOT a match, it was just a beatdown.

Out next came Alberto Del Rio, but you, you already knew that. Del Rio got on the mic and talked about how he was the next guy to go headline Wrestlemania. Santino ran down and Del Rio and Santino started going at it.

Del Rio first and foremost threw out Del Rio over the top rope! If he won the Royal Rumble, I truly believe WWE could mold him into a contender, but whatever. The match was actually more than just comical, it had a few good offensive moments from Santino, and Del Rio had to counter several times, and wasn't completely dominating. Eventually Del Rio would get his arm breaker on Santino and that was that. The winner, and you, you already knew it was Alberto Del Rio.

Alberto Del Rio defeated Santino

I haven't liked my middle name since Del Rio came to WWE...so I'm cheering for the guy! Woo!

John Cena, Vickie Guerrero and Dolph Ziggler sparred on the mic, with Cena going over, and that was that. I was tired at this point, and didn't care. As much as I can stand Cena a little more now, I don't really like him on the mic sometimes. I miss the old Rapping Cena, I wish they'd turn him heel, but you and I both know that is not going to happen.

John cena and CM Punk had an interesting encounter, and it was cool to see. Cena was definitely getting the best of this exchange. Punk was getting completely killed in this match, and eventually was hit with a huge low blow and Cena was disqualified. Out came the New Nexus to fight Cena, but Cena wasn't going down without a fight as King gave Cena a chair.

Cm Punk defeated John Cena via dq

Cena was in ring with a chair and last man standing. That was that. Raw had some good moments, but with a lack of substantial wrestling and an overtly "story line" driven night, it wasn't all that great. I'm not sure if I'd get too behind this night of Raw, but hey, it was nice to watch wrestling again, after missing so much of it last week. We'll see how this continues.

WWE Monday Night Raw 12/13/10 Results

The Big Show defeated Wade Barrett via countout
Kofi Kingston & Daniel Bryan defeated Ted Dibiase & Dolph Ziggler
Dashing Cody Rhodes defeated Mark Henry
John Morisson vs Sheamus double dq
Michelle McCool won a Slammy Battle ROyal
Edge defeated Jack Swagger
Randy Orton defeated David Arquette & Alex Riley
John Cena defeated David Otunga

WWE Monday Night Raw 12/13/10 Review

Another 3 hour Raw? Are you serious? Come on!

David Arquette was the guest hot or something....former WCW champion!

The Slammy for the Shocker of the year went to:

Nexus

The show wasn't starting too well, at least in my book.

The Big Show defeated Wade Barrett via countout

This match was over after Wade got beat down and he quit. He walkd out after Big Show just beat the snot out of him, till Wade was black and blue all over, no joke. Big Show wins, but he got poked in the eye. Nothing major here.

The Slammy For Most Dispicable:

Cm Punk

I didn't care.

Kofi Kingston & Daniel Bryan defeated Ted Dibiase & Dolph Ziggler

This match wasn't that great, but it had a few good spots. Ted Dibiase was really trying to look more vicious, but it wasn't working out. Dolph got hit with some major offense, and in the end, Kofi and Bryan win and get to screw the Bella Twins...lucky guys. A short, fast, match with not a whole lot to speak of.

The Slammy For Guest Star Shining Moment Goes To:

Pee Wee Herman

I didn't care for this either.

Nexus was throwing a hissy fit against Barrett backstage. I've been sick of the Nexus since the stupid win at Summerslam.

Dashing Cody Rhodes defeated Mark Henry

This quick match had Mark Henry beating on Rhodes, but out of the blew, Cody Rhodes upset the big man, and it as over.

The Holy SH*#)@* Moment of the Year Slammy Goes to:

John Cena

I thought he was fired? Lame.

Wade Barrett rehired John Cena, and the two will fight in a chair match.

Nexus beat up John Cena...yep.

The Slammy For The Reaction of the Year Goes to:

Angry Miz Girl!

Hilarious.

THe Miz came out and interacted with the girl or whatever, it was ok...must be nice to get some love from WWE.

The Slammy for OH SNAP MELTDOWN Goes To:

Edge

John Morisson vs Sheamus double dq

The two basically brawled with each other, and nothing more. The match was thrown out, and the crowd was going nuts. The two redeemed themselves from last week's lame excuse for a feud builder.

The two will meet at TLC in a LADDER match.

The Slammy Award for Knucklehead Moment of the Year goes to:

Laycool

That's it...ugh.

Michelle McCool won a Slammy Battle ROyal

This was interesting, only because it lasted a few minutes. Yep, it didn't last very long at all.

Laycool will have to face Natlya & Beth Phoenix in a tables match

Edge defeated Jack Swagger

A squash match to say the least. Swagger was buried here, and I don't want to hear anyone say different. Edge sucks, but his music is awesome.

WWE Moment of the Year would give the Slammy To:

Shawn Michaels

I don't even remember anything about this year.

Randy Orton defeated David Arquette & Alex Riley

This was just sad, David Arquette completely got buried here, straight through a table. Arquette is hilarious, I'm sure he's ok. The Miz and Orton at TLC? I dunno, I don't care. Orton wins here, and no one was surprised.

And the Slammy for The And I Quote Line of the Year Goes To:

Michael Cole

Lame. I hate the guy...ugh...what a jerk.

Superstar of the Year Slammy Goes To:

JOHN CENA!!!!!

I hated this. Dude is lame. Ugh..so tired of Cena.

Otunga was fed to John Cena.

John Cena defeated David Otunga

Cena buried Otunga. That was that, just completely squashed Otunga. I hated it, you hated it, we all hated it.

John Cena wins! John Cena wins!

This night of raw wasn't half bad, 3 hours it wasn't. It was only 2 hours and 12 minutes, but I guess they can still say 3 hours. I enjoyed Raw, I didn't hate it all, but I felt that there was just something missing....I couldn't put my hand on it. Maybe it was just a lack of overall wrestling.

WWE Friday Night Smackdown 11/12/10 Results and Review

WWE Friday Night Smackdown 11/12/10 Results

Alberto Del Rio defeated Kofi Kingston
Natalya defeated Layla
David Otunga defeated Edge in a lumberjack match
Dolph Ziggler defeated MVP
The Big Show defeated Kane

WWE Friday Night Smackdown 11/12/10 Review

The show started with Edge, and in HD he looks really old. He cut a promo about Wrestlemania. Eventually Nexus ran down, and Vickie Guerrero came down and said Nexus couldn't interfere.

Alberto Del Rio defeated Kofi Kingston

Kofi Kingston managd to not only take the match to Alberto Del Rio, he seemed poised to win this match up. However, Del Rio managed to keep his wits amidst a major increase in offense from Kofi, and hit his finisher, forcing Kofi to tap out. The match featured a lot of work from Kofi, but it was Del Rio's counters that really made this match shine.

Post match, Rey mysterio ran down and beat up Alberto Del Rio, and that was that.

Natalya defeated Layla

Natalya fought Layla alone in this match up. Natalya can wrestle, and you know what? So can Layla, despite the fact that she doesn't get much of a chance sometimes. Natalya got Layla into the sharpshooter and this match was over.

David Otunga defeated Edge in a lumberjack match

Edge carried David Otunga to a good mach. Otunga managed to get in a little bit of offense, but the match wasn't exactly a thriller. Edge managed to keep things lively, with lots of hits and misses. He even managed to hit some of the lumberjacks, making it even more interesting. Otunga was not going to win this one, that was the outlook, until, Kane came in and choke slammed Edge! Otunga wins!

Dolph Ziggler defeated MVP

MVP in a high profile match? Well, this wasn't exactly the world title, but it was a good shot at Ziggler. Dolph Ziggler improves with every opponent, and it seems that he's really pushing forward as the Intercontinental Champion. MVP managed to bring his A game and there were a lot of points where Ziggler looked down and out. This match really got going towards the finish, with Ziggler getting the win after a Zig Zag.

The Big Show defeated Kane

Kane and Big show put on a likeable match up. This thing was goign well with the two men exchanging power moves. Kane was distracted by Edge at one point, with Paul Bearer tied up in a wheel chair, and that allowed Big Show to get the win. Kane sucks. Hopefully Edge takes the belt, and we don't have to worry about this crap anymore.

Post match, Paul Bearer was rolled out of frame, while Kane cried in the ring.

This night of Smackdown was ok at best. There were a lot of low points, but it was better than the stink fest of Raw. Survivor Series looks intriguing, but I still have no job, and I am broke, so I doubt I will see it live.

WWE Monday Night Raw 11/1/10 Results and Review

WWE Monday Night Raw 11/1/10 Results

Nexus defeated The Hart Dynasty
Sheamus defeated Kozlov
Ezekiel defeated Zack Ryder
The Big Show defeated The Miz
Daniel Bryan defeated Ted Dibiase
Natalya defeated Laycool
Randy Orton & R Truth defeated David Otunga & Wade Barrett

WWE Monday Night Raw 11/1/10 Review

RAW this week started the show with a promo....ugh...I absolutely hate ORTON on the mic, he sucks. Cena came down to the ring and asked Orton to cut him some slack. Cena said that he can't necessarily call it down the middle, telegraphing a heel turn! I hope Cena turns heel, I'm hoping against hope.

Nexus defeated The Hart Dynasty

THis match wasn't all that great, it was boring. Nexus won this match, and The Hart Dynasty once again are teasing a split. I'm tired of the tag team division, which is sad. I'm already not enjoying the night of wrestling.

THE NEW SANTINO SHIRT IS AMAZING!

Sheamus came out and cut a promo, and Santino came out as well. Santino cut a funny promo, which was great.

Sheamus defeated Kozlov

This match was slow and boring. Sheamus won with the "bro" kick...this match was dumb, but Santino's new shirt is rad.

Morrison saved Santino from getting beat.

Ezekiel defeated Zack Ryder

THis match was stupid. Zack should move to TNA and feud with Robbie E.

The Big Show defeated The Miz

Miz got himself disqualified, and I was too tired to care.

Daniel Bryan defeated Ted Dibiase

This was a quick match and Ted Dibiase tapped out to Bryan. This wasn't a terrible match, but it wasn't as good as previous efforts. I am glad to see Daniel Bryan getting wins and hope he gets more competition.

Natalya defeated Laycool

This match was ok at best. It was fast, and Natalya won after a roll up. I guess Natalya now gets a title shot.

Freddie Prince Jr. was playing a doctor, and McMahon was out cold. The segments continued and McMahon wanted to run for President, but then Stephanie woke up and it looked like a dream.

Uh...I don't know what the whole point of the segments were, but I guess there's an election going on right now or someday? who cares!?!?

Randy Orton & R Truth defeated David Otunga & Wade Barrett

This match was entertaining, and I enjoyed it for the most part. John CEna served as the ref and counted the three count. This was the most interesting part of the story so far.

Raw left us with the question of Cena being impartial. I think we're reliving Summerslam 97!!! Just wait...in 3 weeks we will see a repeat of that classic main event.

WWE Monday Night Raw 10/25/10 Results and Review

WWE Monday Night Raw 10/25/10 Results

Heath Slater & Justin Gabriel defeated David Otunga & John Cena to capture the WWE Tag Team Championships
Daniel Bryan defeated Dolph Ziggler
Laycool defeated Melina & Gail Kim
The Miz defeated R Truth
Santino defeated Sheamus
John Cena defeated Randy Orton via disqualification

WWE Monday Night Raw 10/25/10 Review

The show started with Nexus coming down to the ring, with John Cena as well. Wade Barrett said that the audience didn't have to know why they attacked the Undertaker. Wade then went to talk to John Cena, and asked him to explain.

The general manager chimed in after Cena talked about how he did his job. Randy Orton would face any member of Nexus, to determine who would be the special guest referee. The stipulation made no sense to me, simply because the idea of Orton winning. If Orton won, would the loser be referee? Or would Orton be his own referee? Self high five! What's this? DDP!?!?! NO. I just wanted to write that.

David Otunga then got on the mic, and said that John Cena was "against us" and that JOhn Cena should be fired. Wade Barrett then made a tag team championship match between Nexus and the other members of Nexus?!? Yep.

Raw for a change, had me hooked within minutes.

Before the match started, Wade Barrett said, "someone has to do the right thing" meaning, someone has to lie down in the ring. David Otunga was then ordered to lay down in the middle of the ring, which was awesome! Could Wade Barrett have a Mutiny on his hand? John Cena to replace Wade Barrett and turn Heel? That'd be awesome! I'm marking out already! Oh man, this is some great writing!

Heath Slater & Justin Gabriel defeated David Otunga & John Cena

David Otunga literally, let himself get pinned. He looked dejected. It was sad, and afterwards, Cena left considerably upset. We have new tag team champions, that's for sure.

Daniel Bryan defeated Dolph Ziggler

In a rematch from last night's best match, these two put on another wrestling clinic. I marked out nicely for Daniel Bryan's full SURFBOARD which hasn't been seen in WWE in a long time. Ziggler managed to fight back, and Daniel Bryan was mopping up nicely. Cm Punk was at ring side, and he was "scouting" talent. I'd love to see a straightedge tag team between Bryan and Punk, considering they two are essentially straightedge. Daniel Bryan was getting legit respect from the fans and even Michael Cole was giving him credit for his offense tonight, and it was awesome. Bryan is so clean and crisp in ring, while Ziggler knows how to bump and make things exciting as well. At one point, Ziggler reversed a Hurricanrana into a pinfall attempt, which was nice. A superkick nearly blew Bryan's head off, and it was hard to write and watch after this point as both men were putting on another classic (at least in my view). Bryan had the Labell lock on Ziggler and Ziggler tapped out like a drunk man, despite Vickie Guerrero having his foot underneath the ropes.

Post match Cm Punk was clapping for Daniel Bryan, and I'm hoping for a Punk vs Bryan match or a tag team...it'd be interesting. They have to change Bryan's music though.

Sheamus and Santino exchanged words backstage, while Toby Keith looked on.

John Cena and Wade Barrett were arguing backstage about the tag title match.

Laycool defeated Melina & Gail Kim

Melina and Gail Kim jobbed to Laycool, simple as that. There was one good point in the match, one good move set, and the rest? Just bad. Just bad.

The Miz came to the ring and cut a promo. Eve came to the ring, which was definitely random. Eve was sparring verbally with Miz. Alex Riley then got on the mic and insulted Eve, which was interesting too. R Truth came out....and blah blah blah, Raw was losing steam for me.

The Miz defeated R Truth

The Miz once again steals a victory, and it wasn't half bad. I am not tired of Miz on the mic, but his wrestling the mid-carders? I'm a little tired of that. I'm hoping he cashes in soon, cause I'd love to see a Miz title run. This match was ok at best, with some high impact moves, and some cool run ins from Alex Riley.

Santino defeated Sheamus

Santino got completely manhandled in the ring. It wasn't until John Morrison ran down and started "coaching" Santino that things turned around. Sheamus was distracted by Morrison, and Santino got a pin after ducking the "Bro" kick. Yep, Santino wins!

Michael McGullicutty and Husky Harris are NOW members of Nexus.

The main event for raw had an interesting stipulation, but let's not forget that we've seen Randy Orton vs John Cena, one million times before. Literally, we've seen them wrestle in every single type of match imaginable, and for that, I didn't care for the main event. The show started hot and then lost me with the SAME OLD BS main event.

John Cena defeated Randy Orton via disqualification

The match was back and forth, and was fluid, as you would expect form these two men. The crowd was definitely divided amongst the two members, and no one man had the advantage for more than a few moments. Ortonw as getting ready to punt Cena into retirement, but Wade Barrett pulled Cena out and cost Orton the match! Orton loses, Barrett then gets pummeled by Orton, Cena is knocked out cold...and I could care less.

The Nexus ran down, and they seriously look huge now. With so many members now, Nexus (AKA NWO 3,000) is awesome. Wade Barrett stopped Cena from beating up all of Nexus, and now that Nexus has 2 new members, they are looking like a major dominant force.

Wade Barrett chose John Cena to be the special guest referee for the world title match. If Wade Barrett doesn't win the wwe title, John Cena will be fired on the spot. Also, Barrett will give John Cena a free pass from the Nexus if Wade Wins!!! I saw that coming, and that makes for an interesting conundrum, and HEEL TURN! FINALLY WWE is doing something right! I want to see what happens, and I know many of you do too!

I didn't absolutely love Raw, but it's the best Raw I've seen in a while, because I care about what's going on, to the extent that the main event is going to be a huge draw at the next ppv...wow...I want to know what happens next. OH man, finally wwe has got me hooked, and that's awesome.

WWE Bragging Rights 2010 Review

The latest ppv from the WWE had some decent build up, so here we go, let's see how it went down.

Daniel Bryan defeated Dolph Ziggler via submission

Daniel Bryan needs new theme music.

This match started out slow, with each wrestler trying to outdo the other in submission style, mat wrestling, and it seemed that Daniel Bryan had all the right counters. Meanwhile, Ziggler kept leaving himself open and that's when Bryan ran full force towards him with full shots to the head with knees and kicks. Bryan got some chants early on, but eventually the crowd died down. Ziggler had some good control in this match up, but Bryan was the one that was impressive overall. The crowd was completely behind Daniel Bryan, which was awesome to see. Ziggler hit some nice slams, and reverse impact moves, and even countered Bryan at times, showcasing that he has some strong wrestling talent alongside his finisher. Daniel Bryan eventually would get a second wind, and make Ziggler pay, which prompted uproars from the crowd, once again impressing the naysayers, including Michael Cole. Bryan's missile dropkick from the apron was insane! I can't believe how far Bryan can leap off the ropes, and it's just a testament to the guy that he held his own against a much larger Dolph Ziggler. Towards the end of the match, Daniel Bryan tried to do a super backplex off the top rope, but Ziggler countered into a pinfall only to get reversed into a pin attempt by Bryan which prompted uproars and everyone was calling this match of the year for sure. After the nearfalls, the two hit a sickening thud of a double crossbody attempt which really got the crowd going and made this match more than just another opening contest. Ziggler hit a leg drop of sorts but the count was broken up (after 3) because of Daniel Bryan's foot on the ropes! Dnaiel Bryan locked in his Labbel Lock submission and made Dolph Ziggler tap out! A quality opener, a high candidate for match of the night, and the show just opened! It was a very solid, very good entertaining match, something that I've noted about Ziggler in past matches. Ziggler vs Mysterio 1 especially. Bryan wins, and post match, Vickie and Dolph get thrown out of the building!

In the backstage area The Miz praised Daniel Bryan, for once...wow.

The tag team champions were in the ring talking about how everyone was scared of them, and that there was no tag championship match, but in the middle of their speeches, an email from the Anonymous General Manager came through.

He set up a match with Nexus vs The Tag Team Champions!

David Otunga & John Cena defeated Dashing Cody Rhodes & Drew McIntyre for the Tag Team Championships

This was an intriguing tag team match up, with John Cena and Otunga once again teaming to try and get on the winning side. Cena came out running and fired up the crowd, and despite being forced into this match, it seemed like he had a major chance of getting things going for his team. Otunga started the match, and after getting mauled by the champs, he tagged in John Cena. Cena was not too over powering, wrestling a straight up style and not his typical brawling. It was nice to see John Cena doing MORE than his 5 moves. Specifically pointing out that he did a very nice Snap-Release Fisherman's Suplex and a nice Delayed Suplex. Otunga kept trying to get Cena to tag, but Cena refused, and that changed the momentum of the match up. Cena eventually did his super hero gimmick, without tagging in Otunga and won the tag team champions by making Cody Rhodes tap out!

Post match Otunga was celebrating as if he won the titles himself! John Cena was not thrilled with the over zealousness of Otunga and for his troubles, he gave Otunga a major Attitude Adjustment, then took the titles and left with both belts!

The match was good, but you have to wonder why the WWE Champions could easily be put away by 1 man? Seriously, John Cena single handedly defeated the tag team champions! That was odd, but I'll give it to wwe for continuing the story line quite well.

Ted Dibiase Jr defeated Goldust

Goldust on ppv? I marked out huge! I can't believe that Goldust is on ppv in 2010! Goldust started this match fast, but Ted Dibiase was able to change the complexion of the match slowly, and eventually Goldust was back in jobber mode while Ted unloaded on him. The crowd was going for Goldust in this one, and eventually made this match a nice one. On the outside, Maryse beat up Aksana! Aksana then got thrown into the ring, and that prompted Goldust to get distracted and let Ted get the upper hand in this match up. He eventually won with a ddt, which was a bit odd, but I guess that's that.

Post match, Aksana attacked Maryse, and took the Million Dollar belt! She then essentially seduced Ted Dibiase long enough to get Goldust to hit the FINAL CUT on Ted. Goldust leaves with the Million Dollar Belt and that's that. Not a terrible match, but not a four star classic either. I thought it was quite entertaining, and am surprised that so far, I haven't hated the ppv.

Layla defeated Natalya

Laycool together once again kept their title, with Layla taking most of the heavy lifting. Natalya got a few shots in, but it was Michelle McCool on the outside that made the match interesting. I liked it enough, but it was a short match and really didn't pay off for the "feud" that they've been doing.

Kane defeated The Undertaker in a Buried Alive Match

I'm a big fan of the original Buried Alive match and the one where Austin, other than that? I'm not a big fan of this match. The Undertaker had a lot of this match sewn up, but Kane wasn't a push over. Kane managed to wrestle his way to a watchable match, and Undertaker wasn't his "vintage" self. Just one day after punking out Brock Lesnar at UFC, Undertaker had this thing sewn up after a lot of in ring brawling. Undertaker eventually locked in his Hell's Gate lock and rolled Kane into the ditch. He then got Paul Bearer and was going to throw him into the grave too. BUt before he could, out ran the Nexus! Nexus ran out for no apparent reason, making this match awesome! I loved how Taker was getting beat down by Nexus, and that let Kane get out of the grave! Kane hit Undertaker with the Urn, and then threw him into the grave. The Nexus then buried the Undertaker, literally! The feud sucks. The match was barely watchable, but I guess that's ok. I can't believe Kane is still World Heavyweight Champion, and I can't believe Undertaker loses again...after punking out Brock Lesnar. Yep, that's the end of Taker...for now. I guess he'll want a piece of Nexus now too, right?

Post match, the lights went out and lightning struck, and that was that. Nothing else happened. Undertaker is dead? I don't know, I'm tired.

Team Smackdown defeated Team Raw in the Bragging Rights match

This match was ok to say the least. It was your standard elimination match that should've been reserved for Survivor Series, but I liked it enough. It was way better than the Buried Alive match that preceded it. Santino went for the Cobra but was thwarted by none other than Tyler Rex.

Tyler Rex eliminated Santino.

Big Show and Ezekiel Jackson were up next after a quick tag. Mysterio got into the match and was hitting on all cylinders, prompting a tag to Kofi, but Ezekiel started to over power the smaller guys, which looked good, and the match started to once again roll through. Lots of quick tags, lots of non-stop offense, no real rest holds, and that's why this match was way better than the Buried Alive match. Sheamus hit the High Cross and eliminated Kofi.

Sheamus eliminated Kofi Kingston.

The match continued and it was Rey Mysterio trying to outdo Sheamus, but after some quick tags, this match moved into Raw's favor which was nice. The crowd was going nuts for CM Punk, and started a massive chant at this point. THis part of the match just continued to move back and forth, with Mysterio taking a lot of punishment, before getting blind tagged by Alberto Del Rio! Del Rio and Mysterio had some tense moments in this match, despite being on the same team, including a spot where Del Rio threw Mysterio into the gaurd rail before attacking Cm Punk. Rey Mysterio played up an injury and was essentially out of the match for the time being. Del Rio hit a nice bridge Suplex pin attempt, as Mysterio was looking legit hurt. Eventually Swagger came in, and the All American American American American was doing the Smackdown bidding. Punk was then the focus of the Smackdown attack. Starship Pain eventually landed the Raw team another elimination, and Swagger got tossed.

John Morrison eliminated Jack Swagger.

Tyler Rex somehow maintained a spot on the Smackdown team up to this point, which was odd, cause he's just new. He did quite well against Sheamus and others in this match, so it's interesting to see how they'll use him in the near future. A Bro-kick knocked out Rex, and Raw was still on top at this point.

Sheamus eliminated Tyler Rex.

Big Show came in, like a house on fire and started mopping up against Sheamus. Hornswoggled got shoved hard, and that prompted Show to beat down Sheamus on the outside, which eliminated two people at once.

Big Show and Sheamus were eliminated via double countout.

Only Edge and Alberto Del Rio were left in the ring against most of the Raw team.

Edge started against R Truth, and quickly got behind with Truth hitting lots of moves and yelling "what's Up" randomly. A spear out of the corner eliminated R Truth.

Edge eliminated R Truth.

John Morrison got into the ring and quickly knocked out edge, but not enough to get Starship Pain to land, which prompted another Spear out of the corner, giving Edge the "edge".

Edge eliminated John Morrison.

Punk came into the ring and was immediately hit with the Impaler DDT. Punk missed a spear and Del Rio got into the ring with a blind tag. I wasn't sure where this match was going, but one thing was for sure, Del Rio is the ultimate heel. Punk reversed the Del Rio finisher into a Back Slide, and this match was over! Del Rio was now eliminated, but it seemed like that was the plan for Del Rio all along!

Cm Punk eliminated Alberto Del Rio.

Rey Mysterio ran down and beat up Deli Rio, and rejoined the match. Edge and Mysterio vs three Raw members, and the crowd as was I, were captivated. The Miz finally got into the match, and he was hitting hard and fast, trying to get the better of Edge and Mysterio and win the match for his team. The match was definitely awesome, as was Miz. Mysterio got back into the match but was equalized by CM PUnk, who was still in this match folks!

Rey Mysterio eliminated Cm Punk

Zeke got into the match and immediately started working on Rey Mysterio. He was stomping out Mysterio with relative ease. Mysterio hit Ezekiel with the 619, but an odd exchange between Mysterio and Zeke looked like Mysterio only got a 2 count, but nope, he eliminated Zeke.

Rey Mysterio eliminated Ezekiel Jackson.

That left Edge & Mysterio with Miz solo on Raw. Miz got a lot of help from his right hand man A-Rod. Mysterio got a huge tag, and that prompted Edge to hit a spear on MIZ and pinned THE MIZ!

Edge eliminated The MIz to win the Bragging RIghts match and trophy! A quality bragging rights match with lots of nearfalls, lots of great action, and just an overall pleasure to watch. Despite the botches, despite the weird finishes, I liked it. Edge and Mysterio wins!

The main event officially started at around 2 hours and 25 minutes into the ppv, so that gives you an idea about how much time the final match up was given. I wasn't sure who'd win, but I had a hunch....

Wade Barrett defeated Randy Orton via disqualification

John Cena refused to get involved with the match, despite Wade Barrett asking him too. Orton was in control for the majority of this match up. Wade got in a few shots, but it looked to me as though Orton was in full control of this, including some very stupid looking rest holds. Orton just seemed like he was winning. That's not to say that Barrett wasn't in control at points in the match, it just seemed like Orton was getting the better of the exchanges. The ref got knocked out, which meant that it was time for Barrett to get some help. Cena was then asked to get on the apron and Wade Barrett got thrown into him, causing Cena to go into the guard rail. Nexus ran down and beat up Orton! The ref was still out cold! Nexus was pummeling Orton! This looked like Wade Barrett would get the title! Despite Orton getting beat down by all of Nexus, he still managed to get back into the match, hit his DDT and start setting up his RKO, but Cena managed to get into the ringand attack Barrett!!

Post match, Cena was going to give Orton the title, but Orton hit CENA with an RKO! Barrett wins, but Orton retains! Yep.

Raw will be interested. The ppv was good, with the exception of the Buried Alive match. Wow...this was weird.

WWE Monday Night Raw 8/16/10 Results and Review

WWE Monday Night Raw 8/16/10 Results

Wade Barrett defeated Chris Jericho
Michael Tarver defeated Daniel Bryan
Justin Gabriel defeated Randy Orton via Count Out
David Otunga & SKip Sheffield defeated John Morrison & R Truth
Alicia Fox, Maryse, and Who cares! defeated Gail Kim, Melina, Eve Torres
Heath Slater defeated Edge via countout
John Cena defeated Darren "Black John Cena" Young

WWE Monday Night Raw 8/16/10 Review

The night after Summerslam had many expecting great things, and I for one wasn't. I'm sick of SUPER CENA always winning, and Summerslam sucked, despite throwing up a lot of great action.

Here are my thoughts on WWE RAW from last night....oh boy...

Wade Barrett and Nexus came out and Wade cut a promo. He said that there was going to be hell to pay. He was in mid-sentence when John Cena came out! Yep. Cena came out, and he didn't even look tired, despite taking a beating last night. I'm SOOOO SICK OF JOHN CENA! You don't even know...I'm like Bobby Heenan vs. Hulk Hogan, I hate the guy's character. Cena went through each Nexus star and broke them down with comedy...and I don't care.

The fake general manager emailed or whatever...who cares.

Nexus will fight in a series of matches against Team WWE guys...I'm so tired of this feud, they totally killed it for me last night with the SUPER CENA win...I'm so sick of this crap.

Wade said that if anyone loses, they'll get kicked out of Nexus.

Whatever.

Wade Barrett defeated Chris Jericho

This was a nice back and forth match. It had some good action, with some good power moves here and there, Jericho's speed getting the better of Wade and eventually the Walls of Jericho. Jericho couldn't put away the veteran with ease, and it looked as though Wade would be out first in his group. As Jericho went for the Codebreaker, Wade caught him in mid air and dropped Jericho on his head and won! It was a nice finish to a half-way decent match. I'm a believer, Wade Barrett is a good wrestler and I could see him going far outside of the Nexus group. Jericho loses again.

Some random comedians were in ring, including the Mac guy.

The Hart Dynasty was out in the ring and the General Manager emailed. The titles are now called the WWE Tag Team Championships, instead of two sets of belts. Bret Hart came out and introduced the team with the new titles, and they are quite nice. New Tag Team Titles! Wow.

Too bad there's no tag teams.

Michael Tarver defeated Daniel Bryan

This match was ok, and if it weren't for Michael Cole's comments, I wouldn't care. This match was forgettable, until The Miz came down to interfere and cost Bryan the match up.

Post match, Bryan lunged at The Miz and started fighting him. However, The Miz and Alex Riley attacked him and then hit the Skull Crushing Finale on the briefcase. Bryan was out cold...out cold. The Miz vs Bryan feud will be amazing and I hope that Daniel Bryan will get the U.S. Title. I'm sick of Michael Cole, I hope someone punches him in the face.

Justin Gabriel was scheduled to face Bret Hart. The general manager said that he didn't like Hart, and that Gabriel will fight a new opponent....none other than....Randy Orton

Justin Gabriel defeated Randy Orton via Count Out

Gabriel fought an ok match, but this match was all Orton towards the finish, which saw Sheamus run in and distract him. Orton chased him and after getting counted out hit an RKO on Gabriel then teed off on Sheamus with a steel chair. Orton went nuts on Sheamus, and that was that.

David Otunga & SKip Sheffield defeated John Morrison & R Truth

This was a relatively easy match up for Nexus. Otunga and Sheffield won this one with ease. I didn't hate it, and it was interesting to see nexus work well as a team. Not a long match, but it served its purpose.

Alicia Fox, Maryse, and Who cares! defeated Gail Kim, Melina, Eve Torres

The divas match...it sucked. I hate the divas. You should too.

When will women wrestlers actually get some good matches? I hate the WWE divas these days. Jon Lovitz was ringside.

Heath Slater defeated Edge via countout

This was stupid. Slater won via countout. Edge and Heath didn't really do much in ring, and Edge barely broke a sweat. Whatever...Slater wins, and Edge speared him after the match. What an easy night for the wwe guys.

John Cena defeated Darren "Black John Cena" Young

I don't know how the world didn't blow up, and why we are still alive. I don't understand what is going on here, but Black John Cena and John Cena Versino 1 fought each other. I knew what was going to happen. Super Cena can't lose. He's never going to lose and if he does, people will forget. Remember when John Cena told Batista that he couldn't beat him? Well, Cena lost to Batista a few years ago at Summerslam. I guess they forgot. This match was back and forth at several different points, and Cena might've lost, had he not been John Cena. Cena eventually got the STFU on Black Cena and won via submission...and I don't care.

Post match, the Nexus crew ran down to the ring and were ready to attack. They let Cena leave, and they attacked Black John Cena. Darren Young is out of Nexus. Then there was only 6.

What will Young Do? Who cares?

Nexus survives?

WHO CARES? I don't care about this story line.

WOW...CENA WINS AGAIN?

I can't get behind Cena, I'm not an 8 year old. Hogan at least had awesome bad guys to face, cena? He just has no one left to beat, let him retire.

I'm so tired of this trash. Raw sucked.

I hate Nexus now I hate Cena, and man....wrestling was good for a few weeks and now it's back in the trash can.

WWE NXT 6/2/10 Results and Review

This was the 1st season finale of the show...I hated the whole thing, and they're going to do it all over again....sigh.

WWE NXT 6/2/10 Results

Wade Barrett defeated Justin Gabriel and David “A-List” Otunga
Wade Barrett won NXT Season 1

WWE NXT 6/2/10 Review

NXT came to an end last night, and I was able to find time to watch this piece of crap show. I hated NXT for the most part, and am not sure what’s going to happen for the rest of the show, as they announced Season 2 participants tonight, and they all look stupid to me.

Wade Barrett defeated Justin Gabriel and David “A-List” Otunga

I knew this match was going to happen, and I wasn't too sure if these three could pull it off. The match was canned, it was ok at best, and while each guy had a few shots in, it was obvious that Barrett was going to win the show, and he did.

Throughout the show they introduced new guys, but I don't remember any of them, and I was just fed up with NXT altogether, so you'll have to pardon my lack of effort in reviewing tonight's show.

The winner of NXT is none other than Wade Barrett, that’s right. The next breakout star is none other than Barrett and guess what? The fans were dead. No one cared, I didn’t care you didn’t care, and I won’t care about the next season.

WWE NXT 5/25/10 Results and Review

***NOTE****

Well, it has happened folks, I have canceled my satellite television service, which means I won't be watching wrestling live. I'll have to hunt down episodes on a variety of different websites.

I appreciate you readers, all 2 of you, that have helped me keep this thing going, but I have no money, no job, and am on the verge of getting kicked out of my home.

If I'm late on my reviews, don't worry, they'll show up...it's just going to take time or they'll be limited to what I can watch at a friend's house.

WWE NXT 5/25/10 Results

R-Truth & David “A-List” Otunga defeated Christian & Heath Slater
Justin Gabriel defeated Wade Barrett

WWE NXT 5/25/10 Review

The most important thing that happened on NXT was that the one man rock band was eliminated. Remember folks, this is all scripted.

Oh right, I forgot, Daniel Bryan confronted Michael Cole, or rather Cole tried to do so. Whatever the case, it sucked...until Cole gets beat up, I don't care.

R-Truth & David “A-List” Otunga defeated Christian & Heath Slater

This match was ok at best. I don't like how Otunga isn't all that good, but I do like how Truth at least gave it a good shot. Slater and Christian are ok as a team, but they are like mayo to me...I just don't like them. Or maybe they're too white for me.

Justin Gabriel defeated Wade Barrett

I can't believe this happened. Barrett is supposed to be the "it" guy and yet he loses to the guy with one trick...oh well.

WWE NXT 5/11/2010 Results and Review

WWE NXT 5/11/2010 Results

Wade Barrett defeated Heath Slater
Skip Sheffield defeated Darren Young
David Otunga defeated Justin Gabriel

WWE NXT 5/11/2010 Review

The show opened up with the elimination of Michael Tarver. He then threw afit and left the arena. Well that’s the end of that. This was a dumb opening, and while I thought Tarver had promise, this is the end.

Daniel Bryan was also eliminated from NXT.

Wade Barrett defeated Heath Slater

I am going to agree with a lot of people, Wade Barrett has some size and some style to win this thing, and while Slater has some major athleticism, he lost this one, and could still walk away with the whole enchilada…..mmmmm…enchiladas.

Skip Sheffield defeated Darren Young

This match wasn’t all that great, but I could see where Skip Sheffield would win the whole show, and Young can only be saved…if he joins the Straightedge Society.

David Otunga defeated Justin Gabriel

This match wasn’t all that great. Otunga and Gabriel battled for a little bit, but it was Otunga that got the win here. I didn’t really think it was all that great.

Lastly, another person was eliminated.

But first the Pro’s Poll

1. Wade Barrett
2. David Otunga
3. Justin Gabriel
4. Heath Slater
5. Darren Young

Skip Sheffield was #6, and was eliminated.

Another boring NXT show, and boy I was glad this was over.

WWE NXT 5/4/2010 Results and Review

WWE NXT 5/4/2010 Results

Michael Tarver defeated Daniel Bryan
R Truth defeated David Otunga

WWE NXT 5/4/2010 Review

This night was relatively boring, and I was already bored. Daniel Bryan had his ribs taped to sell the injuries he had from wrestling Batista.

The rookies had to go through an obstacle course. Daniel Bryan started and he was really slow and it was bad. He took forever, prompting The Miz to come out and yell at Bryan. Then he had to go to the ring and wrestle.

Michael Tarver defeated Daniel Bryan

This match was tough, as it was slow paced and tarver managed to win after some time. Daniel Bryan was injured, and therefore didn’t put up much of a fight.

Post match, Bryan got hit with the Backstabber, and that was that. Bryan is getting completely buried. If it’s setting up a match with The Miz, it’ll be interesting, if not, then he’ll get eliminated.

This elimination course sucks, I’m just going to say it now….worst show ever.

R Truth defeated David Otunga

Otunga brought his A game to Truth but man, he didn’t have nearly enough to beat Truth. This fast match had Otunga losing in style, but man, it was short.

Darren Young and Wade Barrett got into a fight of sorts and that ended the show…man what a piece of crap show.

NXT IS THE WORST WWE SHOW EVER MADE!

WWE NXT 4/20/10 Results and Review

WWE NXT 4/20/10 Results

Darren Young defeated Michael Tarver and Skip Sheffield in a triple threat match
Justin Gabriel defeated David Otunga
Heath Slater defeated Chris Jericho

WWE NXT 4/20/10 Review

The opening of NXT had them doing some “American Gladiators” type event with the guys hitting each other with oversized bars on pedestals. It was boring. The only stand out thing that happened was Tarver quitting before even fighting Daniel Bryan.

Justin Gabriel defeated David Otunga

This match was not half bad, and it was actually telling a story. Otunga and R Truth are having some issues, and it showed.

I think that a good idea would be for the NXT rookies to face their mentors in the near future.

Darren Young defeated Michael Tarver and Skip Sheffield in a triple threat match

This match was a slow paced and had a few moments that made the rookies look good, but the story continues with Tarver not being able to wrestle, Young and Luke Gallows itching to switch places in the Straightedge Society, and that’s about it. Nothing too crazy going on here.

Skip Sheffiled and Darren Young tied in the little American Gladiators thing…and then they had to do it again.

Skip Sheffield wins the second round.

Heath Slater defeated Chris Jericho

This match kind of sucked, but Slater was able to get a win in this match up, creating a cool upset of sorts, but it wasn’t too great. Slater rolled up Jericho after an attempted Walls of Jericho.

WWE Monday Night Raw 4/12/10 Results and Review

WWE Monday Night Raw 4/12/10 Results

Eve defeated Maryse for the divas title
The Miz defeated DH Smith
Evan Bourne defeated Carlito
John Cena defeated David Otunga
Sheamus defeated Kofi Kingston
Kofi Kingston defeated Sheamus via disqualification
Randy Orton vs Batista no contest

The Divas fought in a Triple Threat Baywatch Triple Threat Tag Team Match

WWE Monday Night Raw 4/12/10 Review

David Hasselhoff opened up the show, and it got the crowd going, that’s for sure.

Eve defeated Maryse for the divas title

This match sucked. The best part was definitely Eve’s picture perfect Moonsault, which she missed. Eve won with a nice bridge roll up pinning combination. This was a short match, and a terrible one at that.

The Miz defeated DH Smith

Brett Hart came and talked to the champions and got DH Smith a match. If Smith won against the Miz the Hart Dynasty would get a title shot at Extreme Rulez.

The match wasn’t all that great, and I still can’t believe the Miz is getting over. Smith managed his own, but it was a majority of Miz offense that was getting center stage. I thought that Miz would lose here, but nope.

Next week, Bret Hart has to proclaim that Miz and Show are the greatest tag team ever.

This match wasn’t that good, and really did nothing to further the Hart Dynasty as a team. It’s just a matter of time before the two of those idiots become single wrestlers. You just wait.

David Otunga was backstage bantering with Batista and he ran into The Hoff for some funny bits. He put Otunga into a match with John Cena.

Evan Bourne defeated Carlito

These guys are still employed/ Carlito won this match and Carlito barely put up a fight. The match was watchable, but it wasn’t all that great. I’m tired of seeing lackluster wrestling on Raw. I remember the good ol days…when matches took time.

John Cena defeated David Otunga

Wow, Otunga has a match on Raw and has to wrestle John Cena! Honestly, I don’t dislike Otunga, and think he might actually get a contract. This match was all John Cena, it wasn’t even close, Otunga was forced to tap out fast.

Serious Batista was on the ramp, and got called out by John Cena. Batista started to walk down, but instead he decided to just stay on the ramp.

Kofi Kingston defeated Sheamus via disqualification

Remember when Kofi Kingston was actually important? It seems like a few months of botches has left Kofi getting squashed by Sheamus. Sure it was kind of competitive, but overall, it was Kingston that got the short end of the stick in this match. Sheamus was made to look way stronger than Kofi in this match, even though Kofi has more experience in the spotlight. I guess that’s just what happens….sigh. Not a good match, barely watchable. I’m not behind Sheamus at all. I don’t like him. Kofi did manage some offense, don’t get me wrong, but it just was going nowhere, and I could tell.

Post match, Sheamus beat up Kingstom some more. Kingston won, but come on, dq and a post match beat down? Sheamus really tore through Kingston, which was lame.

Carlito said he’d quit if he didn’t get traded to Smackdown. Kozlov said he’ll destroy McGruber….man I’m tired.

The Divas fought in a Triple Threat Baywatch Triple Threat Tag Team Match

There were three sets of tag teams that wrestled in this throwaway match. Santino was the guest referee, but man, this was just terrible. The Divas are some of the worst women’s wresters in the world. While there was a few moments of actual wrestling, the majority was just stupid, and wreckless. It’s said that even with so many women in the ring, Santino was the highlight. One of the Bella twins won the match, it sucked.

Hornswoggle came out as a lifeguard and did a Splash on Santino.

Randy Orton vs Batista no contest

This slow moving match had a few highlights. Orton is way over with the crowd, and he made this match somewhat interesting to me. Batista looked like he was tired mid-way through the match and was looking for ways to slow things down. Orton was getting hit hard with a lot of different offense, but managed to showcase his speed and agility against the Animal. Orton's viper move set really got a huge pop when he started to look mean against Orton. Batista got drilled with a DDT but he kicked out and made this thing somewhat more interesting. Orton's frustration towards the end of the match and his recoil made the crowd come alive again. Orton hit the RKO and was ready to put this one away, but out came Jack Swagger, and this match was a waste.

Swagger hit the Gutwrench Powerbomb on Orton and just left. What a waste of time...what a waste of time.

John Cena ran into the ring and put the STFU on Batista and wouldn't let go!

WWE Monday Night Raw this night was NOT that good. It was mediocre at best. Batista was out cold at the end, John Cena looked like super man, and I was tired after 4 hours of wrestling.

Was TNA Better tonight?

Heck no.

But Raw wasn't much better either.

WWE NXT 4/6/10 Results

Justin Gabriel defeated Miachael Tarver
Darren Young defeated Daniel Bryan
Wade Barrett defeated David Otunga
Kane defeated Heath Slater

WWE NXT 4/6/10 Review

NXT opened with Stryker talking about random crap. He asked Otunga why he screwed John Cena, and Otunga talked about his hosting duties.

The show started with a contest that had the rookies running around the ring with a keg in hand. The winner was Heath Slater, and he will face Kane in the main event. Slater got really scared of Kane and even flinched when the pillar came out.

Darren Young defeated Daniel Bryan

Daniel Bryan hit some good moves against the brown John Cena, but wasn’t able to beat him. Bryan ended up getting rolled up, and it was over quickly.

Justin Gabriel defeated Miachael Tarver

Tarver did some good overall bump taking, I liked how he tied in classic wrestling style with great counters against Gabriel. Gabriel hit a beautiful 450 splash and won this match, but Michael Tarver took some nice offense like a champ.

Wade Barrett defeated David Otunga

Otunga did the pounce which was interesting, but he took a lot of offense and couldn’t really upset Wade Barrett. I don’t like Barett’s style, but man, he put a hurting on Otunga. I could see both of these guys winning, especially Otunga for being so hated right now.

Kane defeated Heath Slater

Kane was getting beat easily by Slater. Slater was a non stop powder keg in this match up and was doing a good job to reinforce his position in the competition. After Kane caught Slater in a mistake, Kane but a beating on Slater, and looked like he was working semi-stiff. Slater got caught with a nice chokeslam and lost this one. Kane looked good for a change.

Believe it or not, I actually am starting to like NXT. I can see a few break out stars here, and I wouldn’t mind see all of them get in the mix of WWE stars. WWE needs a lot of new talent with so many older guys leaving sooner than later.

WWE Monday Night Raw 4/5/10 Results

Sheamus defeated Kofi Kingston
Eve won a dress to impress battle royal
Ted Dibiase defeated Christian
Miz & Big Show defeated John Cena & Batista via countout
Randy Orton defeated Swagger
Miz & Show defeated John Cena & David Otunga

WWE Monday Night Raw 4/5/10 Review

Zzzzzzzzz…….

Jack Swagger opened up the show with talking, and boredom. Cena came out and cut a heel promo on Swagger that woke me up, then Orton and a bunch other idiots came out and demanded title shots.

This all broke down with Otunga coming out and making some matches.

The highlight was Orton nearly RKO’ing Cena but getting blocked only to hit Swagger with a huge RKO! Great exchange, boring opening, lots of random talk, I got bored.

Sheamus defeated Kofi Kingston

Kofi loses this one, in predictable fashion. There was a few moments, but nothing worth mentioning. Kofi went from big time feuds to jobbing to Sheamus.

Sheamus cut a lame promo, Triple H came out. Triple H chased out Sheamus with a Sledgehammer and that was that.

Sledgehammer on a pole match? I hear it calling.

Ugh…the divas had a battle royal…I’m so sick of this division in WWE. I feel like someone punched my brain with this match.

Eve won a dress to impress battle royal

I hate WWE right now for this.

Miz & Big Show defeated John Cena & Batista via countout

This match didn’t even happen. Batiast ran away and John Cena got himself counted out.

Post match, Otunga came out and got on the mic, announcing that they would defend the titles against David Otunga and John Cena!

Ted Dibiase defeated Christian

This match wasn’t that great, and it looked like Christian had this easily won, but Ted Dibiase managed to hit Dream Street to win the match up. Dibiase is now carrying the Million Dollar championship.

Randy Orton defeated Swagger

Orton and Swagger put on a pretty good match for it not being advertised before hand. I liked it a lot, and Orton was way over! I can’t believe how Over Orton is right now. Swagger managed to avoid a lot of the offense and even countered the RKO. He got a lot of near falls, and it looked like Orton might not be as venomous as the announcers say he his. Swagger hit his splash of sorts, and he started to get frustrated. Orton reversed the Gut Wrench and hit a huge RKO pinning Swagger!

Wow, WWE, way to bury Swagger as champion

Miz & Show defeated John Cena & David Otunga

This match was actually kind of good, with a lot of cool spots overall. The match progressed naturally and it looked like Otunga and Cena were on their way to win this one, until the swerve came through. Otunga refused to tag in John Cena and Big Show knocked him out with a huge fist to the face.

Batista came out and knocked Cena out. He then announced that at Extreme Rulez it will be him vs Cena in a Last Man Standing Match.

WWE NXT 3/23/10 Results

Heath Slater & Justin Gabriel defeated Skip Sheffield & Wade Barrett

WWE NXT 3/23/10 Review

Heath Slater & Justin Gabriel defeated Skip Sheffield & Wade Barrett

This match wasn’t half bad, it was fast paced featured a lot of quick tags and overall good strategy by both teams. I actually could see all these guys making it, even if they do cut people, they could really create a good change up for the WWE.

Darren Young & David Otunga defeated Michael Tarver & Daniel Bryan

This match was not half bad. I was entertained by the old school nature of a lot of the motions. Bryan lost this one when Otunga dropped and pinned him.

CM PUnk had a CRO MAGS shirt on which was really cool.

WWE NXT on SyFy 3/9/10 Results

R Truth & Otunga defeated The Miz & Daniel Bryan
Heath Slater defeated Carlito

WWE NXT on SyFy 3/9/10 Review

Here we go, another show to talk about.

R Truth & Otunga defeated The Miz & Daniel Bryan

Truth and Otunga were fighting with ease, and Miz & Bryan were just not a unit. Eventually Bryan and Miz got rolling, and the two started to work as a unit. The Miz was shocked to have Daniel Blind Tag himself in, but it worked out well. Otunga got thrown into a heel hook on Otunga, dead center of the ring, and it looked like he was ready to tap, but Miz blind tagged his way in and slapped Bryan. The two started fighting, and Truth came in with a nice heel kick to get Otunga to pin the Miz after his finisher, and that was that! The Miz gets pinned by Otunga, Bryan gets mad, the two are headed for a collision course.

Daniel Bryan and The Miz went to a war of words in the back. Bryan slapped him in the face.

Michael Cole turned heel yet again.

Heath Slater defeated Carlito

Carlito was getting some major hits against Slater, but Slater wasn’t just laying down. Carlito had this thing sewn up several times, but Slater managed to reversed a roll up and surprised Carlito for the quick pinfall win.

MY dvr cut out the last match…cause it sucks.

WWE NXT on SYFY 3/2/10 Results

Darren Young defeated David Otunga
Matt Hardy & Justin Gabriel defeated Skip Sheffield & William Regal
Wade Barrett defeated Daniel Bryan

WWE NXT on SYFY 3/2/10 Review

Here we go again, another WWE Show, I’m tired.

Darren Young defeated David Otunga

This match was starting to bore me. Black John Cena doesn’t do it for me, I’m sorry. This match was longer than their first meeting and Darren Young won this thing. He had some decent offense, but nothing good overall.

CM Punk helped Young win, which was rad. I liked that. Punk doesn’t like Young yet he helped out…or did he?

Post match, Otunga pushed R Truth and it looked like he was upset. I didn’t like the match at all. I thought it was forced and slow.

Backstage The Miz and Daniel Bryan were talking. The Miz was demanding respect. Wade Barrett will wrestle Daniel Bryan next.

Otunga got in a fight with R Truth backstage, but R Truth was getting pwned! I liked that segment.

Wade Barrett defeated Daniel Bryan

Bryan was impressive here, but slipped on the top rope and got beat up by Barrett. Barrett rolled through bryan

Post match Jericho hit Bryan with the Walls of Jericho.

Bryan is getting hazed like crazy, most likely for his extensive experience. They are really putting him through the ringer. I truly believe they are doing this cause he can handle it.

Matt Hardy & Justin Gabriel defeated Skip Sheffield & William Regal

Skip Sheffield is just odd, he’s kind of entertaining, but he needs different tights and a more controlled gimmick, ala Stone Cold. Regal really hit Gabriel hard, and this match wasn’t half bad. Regal was definitely in there looking the best of the four in my book. Matt Hardy is still fat, but he did alright for himself too. Gabriel hit a huge high flying move and won this match up for his team. Not a half bad move, to say the least.

This night’s NXT had some good stuff, nothing too crazy, but enough to check out some good wrestling. Gabriels 450 was better than Juvi’s.
