WWF Royal Rumble 2001 Results and Review: A Better VHS Experience

For this review we are going back to 2001 for the Royal Rumble! The Royal Rumble in 2001 was stacked. It was absolutely stacked with some of the best wrestlers from all eras of wrestling. Remember, this was just a few months before WCW would get bought out, and it was the same year that one of the most epic battles went down at Wrestlemania.

This event was held at the MCI Center In New Orleans and had 17,137 people in attendance. It was one of the hottest crowds in 2001, and definitely one of the better options that you will want to consider. The VHS version has all unedited footage, with all original music, and a lot more to offer compared to the network version, but the network does have this event up. With that in mind, let’s get to the big event with the following results and review.

WWF Royal Rumble 2001 Results

The Dudley Boyz (Bubba Ray Dudley and D-Von Dudley) defeated Edge and Christian
Chris Jericho defeated Chris Benoit
Ivory (c) (with Steven Richards) defeated Chyna
Kurt Angle defeated Triple H
Stone Cold Steve Austin won the Royal Rumble

WWF Royal Rumble 2001 Review

First and foremost, the crowd for this event was absolutely going insane from the start of the show. The opening match alone had people going crazy, but it was the Rumble match itself that really took things to another level.

The Dudley Boyz (Bubba Ray Dudley and D-Von Dudley) defeated Edge and Christian

This was a fast paced match that saw the Dudley Boyz capture the Tag Team titles from the duo of Edge and Christian. The crowd was great for this, and the match was very back and forth. Edge and Christian did the “Wazzup” spot at one point, or at least tried, and the crowd lost themselves completely. Even through the network’s terrible editing, you could hear the pandemonium going on.

Match Rating: 4 out of 5

Chris Jericho defeated Chris Benoit (IC Title Ladder Match)

As far as ladder matches are concerned, this is one of the better ones. However, there were moments that didn’t make sense from a story telling stand point. The Walls of Jericho on a ladder just doesn’t fit, if you ask me. However, the overall push of this match was good, and Jericho was doing grand things in WWE compared to his last WCW run from 1998 – 1999.

Match Rating: 3 out of 5

Ivory (c) (with Steven Richards) defeated Chyna

This was a weird match. I forgot how good Chyna really was. She did a spot and landed awkwardly, which sold an injury. The injury angle was treated as real, and I had to look online to see if it was in fact real. It wasn’t. This ended too early.

Match Rating: 2 out of 5

Kurt Angle defeated Triple H

One hell of a match. Triple H and Angle put on a great show here. It was powerful, fast paced, and Angle’s slams were just second to none. It’s funny, 1 year earlier, Angle was getting tapped out to Tazz, and this year he’s in the championship title match with Trips. The match was great, ref bumps and all, and of course Stone Cold running in to beat up Triple H. The crowd went ballistic when Stone Cold showed up and beat up Triple H. great stuff here. Angle won.

Match Rating: 4 out of 5

Stone Cold Steve Austin won the Royal Rumble

The main event, and one of the better Royal Rumble matches. There were a few surprise entrants, but nothing too great. The best part about this was the amount of big hitters from this year. Undertaker, Kane, Stone Cold, Rikishi, The Rock, and so much more were involved in this one. The Rock got a serious beat down, Triple H nearly cost Stone Cold’s win, and he was busted wide open, great stuff. This is the second best Royal Rumble right behind Royal Rumble 1992.

Match Rating: 5 out of 5

Overall, you should look for the original DVD or VHS tape as it was heavily edited from the original if you see it on the network. I noticed a lot of errors, and at one point there’s a complete change and omission in the Royal Rumble match. The production crew either blatantly messed something up, or they edited, cut, and deleted 11 seconds of the Royal Rumble match. I am thinking it’s a full censorship of someone flashing the camera, a crotch grab, a boob, or something. It’s so noticeable, you will know when it happens.

You can pick up the original VHS or DVD of Royal Rumble 2001 by clicking here.

The Wrestlemania 27 Guest Host Is

stingwwe

There are millions of internet fans talking right now about who the Wrestlemania 27 guest host will be, and you know what the most likely scenario is?

Neither do I.

But I have a few guesses, and so do you. Consider these among some of the top names getting considered by internet WWE fans like me and yourself:

Justin Bieber - What the heck? Would WWE really sink money into this guy? I guess he's a mega celebrity and I for one have seen him show up on a lot of television shows including SNL, The Daily Show, and much more. News outlets are even plugging his new movie, he's an icon already, and I just saw that he's in good with Will Smith to star in a new movie with his kids.

Shawn Michaels - The Heartbreak Kid could be the guy, as he's being touted as the main guy in the Hall of Fame this year, and why wouldn't the WWE use him for more? I for one would not consider him a draw for Wrestlemania, and I don't care if he's in the Hall of Fame or not. Yeah, I said it. He might be the man, but he retired, I don't need to see him on ppv.

Stone Cold Steve Austin - Could the Rattlesnake come out and stun the viper? I would love to see that, in fact, I'd pay good money to see Stone Cold bury everyone like Triple H used to. Will he come back as guest host? Why not? I'd like it.

Rowdy Roddy Piper - I remember when Wrestlemania had Piper's Pit and how awesome it was in ring. Could he come back to host? Yes! He's really good on the mic and it could work to hear him talk his way through a Wrestlemania.

Kevin Nash - Could Diesel be back as a guest host? Maybe. I wouldn't mind seeing him, but I don't think he possesses enough mic skills for that type of role. I just don't think it is going to happen.

Sting - Sting? Really? He's not an amazing mic worker, but I guess as the host, he could be on commentary and chime in every now and again, but this is not the role I'd like to see him in. Everyone wants to see him against Undertaker.

The Macho Man Randy Savage - I'd love to See the Macho Man as the hype man at Mania, but I doubt that the new generation of fans are really going to care, and I highly doubt that the WWE would spend money to have Randy Savage cut promos and talk his way through mania.

Jim Ross - Not only would I love to see JR come back to Wrestlemania, I'd love to see him as guest host and announcer! Why not? Let's get a ppv draw like that, and put Cole in a match with lawler, freeing up the booth for Jim Ross and Booker T.

The biggest name going around and the one that seems to be it is:

THE ROCK

That's right, the most electrifying man in Sports Entertainment is being touted as the next guest host, and I'm going to throw my pick into the hat. Yes, I think it's going to be the Rock, and I think he's going to do a lot of talking. I'd love to see him as a guest referee too, and cost someone the title with the Rock Bottom.

Top 5 Stone Cold Steve Austin Matches

Since I couldn't see any of the Thursday night wrestling shows, I decided to throw up a quick review, top 5, just to give you guys something to check out, sorry. I am broke, no one buys anything from amazon using my links, I haven't had a job in 20 months, and don't own a tv or cable.

Stone Cold Steve Austin has had some amazing matches throughout his career. Although it was cut short, he still is one of the greatest superstars to ever lace up the boots and hit the WWE running. I loved him throughout his career, and I wanted to compile a list of matches that would be worth checking out, even today. These matches span not only his WWF/WWE career but also his WCW career as Stunning Steve Austin.

5. Stone Cold Steve Austin Royal Rumble 1997 - The 1997 Royal Rumble was one of the best overall Rumble matches ever, and it wasn't because the match itself was anything special, except for a few story lines that were pushed throughout the event. The main focal point on this one, was Stone Cold throwing out people left and right, then looking to his wrist as if it were a watch, waiting for the next entrant, and guess who it was? Bret Hart. Hart and Stone Cold would fight and eventually Stone Cold got thrown out, but while the Ref was watching Mick Foley they missed Stone Cold's departure, and he got back into the ring and threw out Hart, outlasted Taker and Vader and made it to win the 1997 Royal Rumble! This performance was so good, that it made the 97' Rumble one of the best matches ever. The match forced a Final Four match at the next ppv which was amazing, and then it would set up the #1 pick later on.

4. Stunning Steve Austin vs. Brian Pillman Clash of the Champions XXV - AH yes, The Clash of the Champions, the great ppv like quality event that aired on TBS and got better ratings than any modern day Raw. This match proved to be interesting because Stunning Steve was splitting up the Hollywood Blonds and was going solo. This match had both men at their prime battling it out, and well, it is still a classic. Pillman is so under rated, and Austin was showing signs of being the better man.

3. Stunning Steve Austin & Brian Pillman vs. Dos Hombres (Ricky Steamboat & Tom Zenk) - This match took place inside a Steel Cage. Wikipedia said that it was Tom Zenk under the mask, but I was under the impression that it was Shane Douglas. This match was another instant classic, one that featured some amazing moments. The finale was great, with all the guys flying across the ring, and Austin hitting his finisher The Stun Gun to get the win for the Blonds.

2. Stone Cold Steve Austin vs. The Rock "No DQ" Wrestlamania XVII - One of the greatest ppv's of all time. This is one of my favorite Wrestlemania's of all time. The main event was an incredible match and it featured some of the best work from Rock and Austin. Austin was obviously going under in this match, but it was Vince that would help Austin not only turn on the fans but get the title and go out victorious. The Rock was screwed over by Vince, Austin turned, and everyone went nuts when it all was said and done.

1. Stone Cold Steve Austin vs. Bret Hart "Submission Match" Wrestlemania XIII - My favorite Austin match was even better than the Survivor Series 96 match that these to made into a four star classic. Austin got busted open the hard way mid-match, and Hart went completely nuts, and wouldn't stop beating the hell out of an unconscious Steve Austin. This was made classic because Hart turned heel, Austin turned face, and Ken Shamrock was introduced to the WWF audience at the time. This match was brutal, and saved a lackluster ppv from being one of the worst Wrestlemania's ever. Austin doing push ups during the Sharpshooter, desperately trying to get out and bleeding all over, was just amazing.

I know, Austin has had a ton of greater matches but as far as a top 5, here are the greatest for me. Yes, he took on Jake The Snake, sure he took on Kane, Undertaker, Mankind, Dude Love, Triple H, and so many others, but I think these were great for me. All of these matches are featured on the Legacy of Stone Cold Steve Austin 3 Disc dvd set.

WWE Monday Night Raw 3/15/10 Results and Review Stone Cold Raw

WWE Monday Night Raw 3/15/10 Results

Big Show defeated John Cena
Sheamus vs Evan Bourne no contest
HBK defeated Chris Jericho via count out
Triple H vs Randy Orton no contest
Batista defeated Kofi Kingston

WWE Monday Night Raw 3/15/10 Review

Here we go, live with the Rattlesnake!

Stone Cold came down and opened the show and it was rad to see him in ring drinking ice cold beers!

John Cena interrupted things and got a huge pop, it was insane.

Big Show defeated John Cena

The matches started fast, with Big Show fighting Cena and Big Show completely dominating. John Cena got a huge comeback but was distracted by batista, and got caught in a huge chokeslam by Big show. Big Show hit the knockout and it was the end for John Cena. An alright match, fast one, but he obviously could’ve won like he did when beat Show for the U.S. Title.

Sheamus vs Evan Bourne no contest

This match sucked. It wasn’t even a match. Sheamus dropped Evan Bourne and then got on the mic for no apparent reason. I didn’t care for it.

Maryse defeated Kelly Kelly

Another boring divas match, not even worth mentioning really.

Post match all the divas started fighting, with McCool & Layla coming to the aid of Maryse and most likely setting up a Wrestlemania match with all the divas.

HBK defeated Chris Jericho via countout

Jericho and Michaels put on a quality match for Raw. HBK was having a hard time against Jericho, as Jericho was one step ahead for most of the match up, however, HBK would go for a comeback and had this thing all but sewn up at various stages of the match. Jericho wasn’t just going down easily though, until he missed the Lionsault when HBK put his knees up. HBK looked like he had this thing easily won, but Jericho ran away.

Post match Jericho was attacked by Edge, and a huge SPEAR knocked out Jericho and got the crowd exploding.

Wresltemania got a new match signed tonight, it will be Randy Orton vs Ted Dibiase vs Cody Rhodes in a triple threat match.

Triple H vs Randy Orton no contest

This match wasn’t half bad, it was actually kind of going well until it sort of died. How? Legacy ran n and beat up Triple H and Orton. That was that. Through the match it was back and forth, and I liked it overall.

Post match Legacy continued to beat up Orton. Triple H got back in the ring and started to help Orton but Sheamus jumped in and hit a huge boot to the face.

Batista defeated Kofi Kingston

This match was all Kofi for a while, and Batista looked like he was having problems. After Kofi busted Batista’s face open with a nice looking kick, Batista got really mad and attacked viciously. He eventually knocked out Kofi and won! Batista wins an impressive match, even though he got busted wide open.

I hate contact signings. This was yet another contract signing, only this time Stone Cold was the moderator, or whatever. It was stupid to me. I don’t like this stuff….oh well.

It's official, Bret "the Hitman" Hart vs Vince McMahon in a no holds barred match will take place at Wrestlemania XVI!

I thought Stone Cold was going to have a better night as WWE Host. As Austin leaves he lets Bret show Vince that his leg is not broken at all!

Hart yells that VINCE SCREWED VINCE, then hits Mcmahon with Cast, and then gets thrown over the table.

McMahon was left in the middle of the ring and Hart leaves standing tall. It'll be nice to see this match.

Help make it happen, donate a few cents?

12 Rounds Poster and Movie Trailer

Love him or hate him, John Cena is the poster boy for the WWE. He has not only garnered respect for the world title and created of critics in the process, we have seen him in movies and television shows. He is now gearing up for another press tour soon, that will hopefully spark interest in his new movie 12 Rounds scheduled to come out later this spring. The movie's trailer made it's debut last night during Raw and here is the poster and trailer for the film. I wasn't a big fan of The Marine at all, but it looks like this one might have what it takes to gain that mainstream success that WWE films has been desperately trying to get since the release of their last few films. Speaking of which, I liked The Condemned a lot. This one is rated Pg-13 so we might not get to see all the over to top action that made the 80's and early 90's action films so great.

Raw Review 6/9/2008 best raw in a while

This week's raw was one of the best Raw's in a long time, and I'll explain in this amazing review...well...raw anyways.

First and foremost, the RAW giveaway was lame. I knew I wouldn't win, and McMahon didn't even know how to dial a phone! Idiot!

Oh and what is Charlie Haas doing? I knew it was going to end bad. He's off the juice..he's looking flabby.

Kennedy vs Paul Burchill
Kennedy and Paul Burchill pulled off one of the quickest matches in recent Raw history. But the one thing that negated the length of the match was the fact that it was actually really good. The match was good, but Kennedy won clean.

The feud was building well, but by not having a DQ finish, the feud should end. He won CLEAN!

Afterwards Paul Burchill came in and attacked Kennedy, but so what?

Kennedy already won CLEAN! It’s over, in my book, but of course this is just the beginning.

Consider the past for a moment. Can you name an epic feud that started with a clean win?

Yes.

Bret Hart and Stone Cold tore the house down at Survivor Series 1996, only to continue to feud through out 1997 and launch Stone Cold’s face turn at Wrestlemania.

Could Burchill and Kennedy do the same for each other?

I don’t think Burchill is a big enough star to do it, but Kennedy could give him the rub. I think it could end up being really good.

The best Divas match up I’ve seen in a long time. The glamazon definitely was my pick for this match, as she was handling Mickie James quite well with brute force. However, there was a turning point, and wow, Micke James has really stepped up her game!

Melina came in after the match, and the Glamazon got pwned! Melina is looking vicious, even though she already lost at the last ppv, and in humiliating fashion.

Is the WWE feeling the heat of TNA for once?

I hope so, because these matches are getting better and better.

JBL and John Cena caused my wife and I to boo out loud in our living room. These two have wrestled so many times, I can’t believe that they would be in a match up yet again. However, they found a way to make it fresh, and the finger pointing between HHH and JBL was a foreshadowing for the future…which at first I thought may have indicated a triple threat match for night of champions, but then, later in the show, I realized that a four way match could be set up with all these characters.

I was hoping for a HHH vs. JBL match, which would be cool, since it is fresh and new in my viewpoint.

I hated the ending, a schoolboy victory for John Cena, which caught JBL by surprise. However, I would have preferred Cena to have gone down, but he didn’t.

Interesting point on commentary, HHH said that Cena was the Rocky Balboa of the WWE, and that no matter how much of a beating he takes, he just keeps coming back for more.

I wasn’t sure where the Highlight Reel was going, and it turned out better than I could have imagined. Y2J was slowly building heat, and then unleashed the fury! The beat down that HBK was beginning to give was epic, and then…the cowardly nut shot, ouch! Then the ultimate; face first through the flat panel television. This was the shot heard round the world in recent memory!

No blade job, just right through the screen. Y2J satisfied, and WWE finally doing something right in the world of wrestling. This feud is heating up so hot, it’s burning.

This is a long standing feud that is not going to end in a one on one encounter, we’re going to see a cage match or something epic with these two. I can just feel it.

Y2J is a way better heel than people give him credit for, and HBK can work hard…so bring it WWE, let these guys steal the show yet again!

Cody Rhodes and Bob Holly lost to the return of the monsters. I can’t believe Snitsky and Umaga are back! No, no, wait….I can’t believe Snitsky is back.

In my magic ball, I see Holly and Rhodes dropping the titles to Umaga and Snitsky, then Rhodes getting frustrated with Holly ditches him or walks out on him to join Ted Dibiase Jr. in the ultimate tag team!

Mark these words, and wait for it, because it’s simply Priceless!

Cryme Tyme finally has a match, but what a match up! Not really, Santino getting buried is not my greatest option of choices. Cryme Tyme is high on the card, which is odd, but what the greater question is;

How long before Cryme Tyme gets split up into single wrestlers?

Why can’t they join the “Priceless” stable?

No Wait!

How about this stable:

Mark Henry, Cryme Tyme, Shelton Benjamin, Elijah Burke, Kqwik, and Kingston!

Now that’s a new Nation of Domination. I could see it now!

First and foremost, Triple H is taking major bumps. Wow, he’s really confident about Jeff Hardy, even though Hardy was essentially going to get fired at one point. Amazing, if you ask me, but who asked?

More incredible is the way this four way scenario between JBL, John Cena, and HHH is coming together.

If not a four way title chase, than at least a triple thread, with Hardy landing on Cena thanks to HHH, Cena costing HHH the victory, it will be no surprise to see WWE push Hardy into the title contention.

Will Hard and JBL enter the main event picture yet again?

I’m not sure.

The match was really solid though, HHH was bumping, Hardy was bumping like a madman as usual, and Cena’s involvement really sealed the deal for me.

Could this be the beginning of John Cena getting pushed as Heel? Or will Triple H turn Heel? I’m not sure, but if you ask me, at this point, with Hardy going over on Triple H this time, I believe that pushing Cena Heel will be the key to creating his character to another monster superstar.

Just like Stone Cold, The Rock and many others that are not active in the WWE any longer.

This week's Raw got me really pumped, and I'm really excited to consider what could happen next week on Raw. I hope it continues to be a good match up, and see things through the greater good, and not some cluster of a mess. Looks like there are some positive things brewing among the WWE writers and talent.

I know that most wwe fans won't be so willing to praise this, and some podcasts that I listen to are most likely going to trash this week's Raw, but this is a really good one, and I'm excited to see what WWE is going to do with the future.

Just remember, we are still fans, and no matter what opinions we have that are negative, we still love wrestling. When WWE does something good, I'll be first in line to mark out like a school boy. They did a good one last night.

Raw Quick Results 6/9/2008

Mr. Kennedy def. Paul Burchill
WWE Women's Champion Mickie James def. Beth Phoenix
John Cena def. JBL
Umaga & Snitsky def. Hardcore Holly and Cody Rhodes
Cryme Tyme def. Carlito and Santino Marella
Jeff Hardy def. Triple H

The Legacy of Stone Cold Steve Austin Dvd

Is this dvd worth it?

Haven’t we already seen Stone Cold dvd’s, vhs, and countless releases?

Yes, but this three disc dvd set is the most complete dvd on the Texas Rattlesnake known as Steve Austin that the WWE has produced. There are a lot of good points on this one and I recommend it highly.

This is not the complete and utter history of Stone Cold, but it is a good enough chunk of his days in WCW, WWE, and even ECW to hold over any diehard Stone Cold Fan.

Is it worth the price?

Yes.

However, if you’re like me, you’ve already seen all that Steve Austin has done. I do recall mentioning that I had 3,000 vhs tapes at one point. It’s all locked away in the memory bank.

My favorite match from Stone Cold is definitely Hart vs. Austin at the Survivor Series 96, which was a technical masterpiece.

If you don’t remember that one, it was where Stone Cold was antagonizing Hart for leaving after losing the title to Shawn Michaels. He antagonized him to the point that at the Series, Hart and Stone Cold would make history.

The feud wouldn’t end there, they battled it out all the way to Wrestlemania 13 where Hart turned Heel and Austin turned face.

Whatever the history is, this is a great set to pick up. Some people will complain about how it’s a little scarce on the WCW histories, but I think it’s worth it. Not everyone can have a massive VHS collection and not everyone really needs to see his feud with Dustin Rhodes or his involvement with some of the Heels in WCW.

Check out The Legacy of Stone Cold on Dvd, and order it from Amazon.com…or pick it up at your local store.

WWE Flops on Triple H and the Rumble

What the hell?

Why in the world is HHH in the Royal Rumble now?

I like HHH, don’t get me wrong, but didn’t he lose to Ric Flair forcing him not to be in the Royal Rumble match? This makes no sense.

The WWE must have the shortest memory in wrestling history, simply because they flipped things on the status of HHH and the Royal Rumble.

Why couldn’t he interfere in the Hardy Orton match?

Let’s rewind to see the past, in order to understand the present.

The year was 1991 and There was a major feud going on in wrestling. The Champion was involved in an interview earlier in the show in which The Macho King wanted a title shot, he didn’t get one granted.

Later on in the main event, Macho King Randy Savage ran down the aisle, striking Ultimate Warrior with a glass septar costing him the world title.

The Warrior would go on to Wrestlemania to wrestle Randy Savage in a retirement match. Then moved forward to bigger and better things, never really capturing that aura he once had.

Now for the present:

HHH could ask for a title shot, he could get shut down. He could get frustrated with the answer, then run into the Orton vs. Hardy match, cost Orton the title, and force a Hardy championship.

The winner of the Rumble should then go on to face Hardy, HHH will fight Orton at Mania, then get his Title shot down the line against whomever happens to be champion.

This would make compelling wrestling for everyone.

Don’t trust that?

Well then lets go back to 1997. Austin vs. Hart in the Rumble went on to create one heck of a match Wrestlemania 13, one that is by far my favorite Wrestlemania Match of all time.

Once again, the present:

HHH could be in there, and get screwed over. Forcing a feud to sparkle, and give him a title shot the ppv after Mania, rather than just rehashing the main event again.

Whatever the scenario, WWE really flopped on this one. HHH should NOT be in the rumble, not after losing to Flair and missing his chance.

Stacked Card?

This match is super loaded. It has high flyers, big men, and main eventers all in the same match! Will the heels even have a chance? HHH's team usually wins the whole thing clean, and it'll be funny to see the faces try and match power for power.

The fans will be delighted with all the high spots that are going to be in this match.

However, this pretty much fills out the card. Seriously...who are they going to have in another classic Survivor's Series match? There's very little interesting guys left.

AH....

Team Santino vs. Team Stone COld!

That would rock hard.

The Condemned Is out

The Condemned is out. That's right, the movie featuring one Stone Cold Steve Austin, who mops up.

The Condemned features Stone Cold in a starring role, and while the wrestling community enjoyed the cool movie, the critics weren't exactly thrilled. Not only that, no one went to see it. Seriously, not that many people ended up going to see the movie, and that's unfortunate. The movie isn't half bad, and Austin does a good job in a clever role that is like watching Battle ROyale, but not really with kids.

If you haven't checked it out, go and rent or buy it. WWE films is not doing so hot...but this one is way better than John Cena's movie.

WWE 24/7 Continues NOT Blurring WWF Logo

This morning while watching another edition of "Shorties" on WWE 24/7, I noticed that during the match up none of the WWF logos were blurred at all!

The match up was from Monday Night Raw 1 week before the big Summerslam: Hart & Soul PPV.

Bret Hart, Owen Hart & The British Bulldog vs. Undertaker, Stone Cold Steve Austin, & Dude Love battled it out in a Flag Match from Canada. The match was solid and lasted about 19 minutes with action going back and forth.

The win came when Brian Pillman came from under the ring and hit Taker with a low blow costing the American's the match and allowing the Hart Foundation to take a win.

The blurs were not there, and even on the left hand side of the screen there was no blur on the old school WWF logo.

Apparently I'm the only wrestling fan that is catching this sort of thing because I don't see anyone else reporting it. It's funny because some of the big sites that offer news don't even have WWE 24/7 and are to busy chasing rumors and posting spoilers to even watch it.

That's not the case with your pal Sir Jorge. I watch, read, write, and distribute non stop even if I do have a wife and a 40 hour a week job. I guess I'm a true fan through and through.

Animal Says NO To Job

Road Warrior Animal absolutely refused to do the job for TNA. That's why he wasn't pinned at a recent PPV show. This is sad news because it seems that all the old timers must job, they just must. Just look at how Randy Orton has been put over, how can TNA be a legitimate number two if a wrestler can dictate who they will job for and then cave in to their demands? This is ludicrous to me, I feel that Animal is NOT Stone Cold Steve Austin and he cannot just take his ball and go home. So TNA must really be desperate, because I would have much rather seen anyone else tag with Steiner and do the job. Heck, even Terry Funk would do the job, he does the job every year! It's funny to see the reactions, then see the guy lose. I don't know, I may be a little upset over nothing, but it makes me laugh.

Edge Not A Transitional Champion

Edge is NOT going to be another transitional champion this time around. The cards maybe in his favor as reports from WWE are citing that he will be a long term reigning champion.

I sure hope so, I like to see a younger, faster champion than the big guys always winning the belt. Furthermore expect Kennedy to turn face when wrestling a heel Edge. Edge may very well be on the Stone Cold Route, meaning that he might face Edge as a heel and turn midway through the match like Austin at Wrestlemania 13.

Hope to see a good lengthy reign for Edge.
