I'm back in action with a review of Monday Night Raw. I'd like to thank all 2 readers that sometimes read this website. I completely understand that there are other sites, and I'm not worried about being #1 or anything, I do this because I personally love this crap, and yes it's been crap lately.
MR. McMahon showed up first and foremost. The crowd went nuts too. I'd love to meet McMahon, and discuss a few things, mainly how I can work for him as a web guy. He came out to a mediocre reaction with mixed feelings. McMahon said he'd introduce the guest host of Wrestlemania will be, and it sounds to me like it will be none other than Shawn Michaels.
Randy Orton came out and cut a promo, and it sucked. I can't stand Orton. Cm Punk came out to answer Randal! Punk said that he interfered in the match up because at Unforgiven 2008 Legacy beat the crap out of Punk and then PUNTED HIM in the head! I remember that vaguely, and it's nice to see that the WWE is using some older material to get motivation for Punk.
The New nexus came out and beat up Orton, for a few moments, and while Orton fought them, Punk was able to have his henchman beat up Orton. Punk recieved a bloody nose for his troubles as Orton didn't go down easily. Orton was then hit with a gruesome GTS, and that was that. Orton went down like a heap, then was mocked by Punk.
Faketista, Mason Ryan, Batista Lite, Batista 2, whatever you want to call him wrestled R Truth next and it was a relative squash match. Ryan beat up Truth than used a weird submission move to defeat Truth. I didn't know what the crowd was chanting, but I know what I was chanting, Batista! Batista! Oh wait, this is Mason Ryan. I really hope the WWE can get batista back so he can stand face to face with faketista!
R Truth defeated Mason Ryan (after the ref reversed the decision)
This match sucked. It featured minimal wrestling and lots of chatter with Michael Cole yelling at Natlya on commentary, and it sucked, I hated it. The match was ok, but Cole's ranting and yelling was so stupid that I couldn't get into the match. Eve won with a neckbreaker, I didn't care. Whatever.
Eve, Gail Kim and Tamina defeated Melina, The Bella twins
A new 2/21/11 promo aired and it had a Johnny Cash song in the background, which signals the return of The Undertaker, not Sting. I wish it was Sting...I guess I too got caught up with the whole thing.
McGullicutty might not be able to talk well on the live mic, but he has improved greatly in ring. He put on a good quick match with John Morrison even though Morrison was the one that got this thing won. Starship Pain actually landed and that was the end for Mike. Morrison isn't half bad at all, I like him.
John Morrison defeated Mike McGullicutty
Post match, CM Punk sprayed Morrison in the face with some sort of spray! Punk is all over the show, doing bad things, He's going to get completely beat down....it's just a matter of time before everyone unites to go after him.
Lawler and Miz squared off verbally before they ended up in fisticuffs. Lawler and Miz fought each other and Miz was not looking great at all, he was getting beat up! Ted Dibiase ran down and beat up Lawler. Daniel Bryan ran down and the General Manager made a match.
Daniel Bryan started the match quickly, with good offense. Speaking of which, when's the last time we saw a US Title defense? What a lousy title run. This match was your standard tag team match with Lawler and Bryan teaming well, and Miz and Dibiase taking a lot of bumps. After some outside grappling, Lawler was able to pin Ted Dibiase for the win!
Jerry Lawler & Daniel Bryan defeated The Miz and Ted Dibiase
Sheamus came out and talked trash, Otunga also came out and trid to get some shots in agaisnt Sheamus. Henry beat up Sheamus and then Otunga came out and raised his own hand. This was NOT a match, it was just a beatdown.
Out next came Alberto Del Rio, but you, you already knew that. Del Rio got on the mic and talked about how he was the next guy to go headline Wrestlemania. Santino ran down and Del Rio and Santino started going at it.
Del Rio first and foremost threw out Del Rio over the top rope! If he won the Royal Rumble, I truly believe WWE could mold him into a contender, but whatever. The match was actually more than just comical, it had a few good offensive moments from Santino, and Del Rio had to counter several times, and wasn't completely dominating. Eventually Del Rio would get his arm breaker on Santino and that was that. The winner, and you, you already knew it was Alberto Del Rio.
Alberto Del Rio defeated Santino
I haven't liked my middle name since Del Rio came to WWE...so I'm cheering for the guy! Woo!
John Cena, Vickie Guerrero and Dolph Ziggler sparred on the mic, with Cena going over, and that was that. I was tired at this point, and didn't care. As much as I can stand Cena a little more now, I don't really like him on the mic sometimes. I miss the old Rapping Cena, I wish they'd turn him heel, but you and I both know that is not going to happen.
John cena and CM Punk had an interesting encounter, and it was cool to see. Cena was definitely getting the best of this exchange. Punk was getting completely killed in this match, and eventually was hit with a huge low blow and Cena was disqualified. Out came the New Nexus to fight Cena, but Cena wasn't going down without a fight as King gave Cena a chair.
Cm Punk defeated John Cena via dq
Cena was in ring with a chair and last man standing. That was that. Raw had some good moments, but with a lack of substantial wrestling and an overtly "story line" driven night, it wasn't all that great. I'm not sure if I'd get too behind this night of Raw, but hey, it was nice to watch wrestling again, after missing so much of it last week. We'll see how this continues.

WWE Monday Night Raw 1/31/11 Results and Review
Fresh off of a great Royal Rumble, in my view, we get this week's Raw. I wasn't sure what to expect with the night after the Rumble, but I'm sure there was going to be a lot of people clashing. I for one couldn't believe that santino lasted so long before getting eliminated, and was hoping he'd get another shot.
First thing's first, out came a mariachi for Alberto Del Rio. Alberto Del Rio got into the ring and got some major boo's from the audience. The Miz came out and immediately cut a promo about how he's so great and Del Rio should face Miz. The Miz was trying to get Del Rio to pick Edge, and not Miz for his title match, and right before Del Rio could go ahead and pick him, out came EDGE to a huge ovation. Edge got a huge pop. Del Rio then picked his opponent, the World Heavyweight Champion, whomever that will be at Wrestlemania! If Edge is still champion he will face Edge. Alberto than grabbed a guitar and completely knocked Edge out and then grabbed Edge's arm and locked it into an armbreaker to much heat. I liked the opening here, and I for one am a huge Del Rio fan, simply because my middle name is none other than ALBERTO! Yep.
Santino and Kozlov fought two parts of the Nexus and were getting completely worked. McGullicutty put the boots to Santino and Husky managed to prove that he truly is like a tank. Kozlov would eventually get the tag and after a hot tag, Santino would get the win with none othe rthan THE COBRA! Yes, The Cobra defeats two members of the new Nexus. I still think Santino should've won the rumble.
Santino & Kozlov defeated Husky Harris & Mike McGullicutty
Randy Orton ran down and hit Husky and Mike with RKO's. He was hissing, from what I could tell, and was acting like a snake. He got a huge ovation, and that was that. He just came out and hit everyone, and the crowd went nuts. Orton was setting up Husky for the punt of his life, but was thwarted by Punk, who came out on the mic and told Orton not to do it. Orton then looked like he wasn't going to punt Husky after all, and took an exhausting amount of time just standing there, he then Punted Husky to oblivion, and ran out of the ring and throug the crowd! Orton punted Husky!
Ted Dibiase Jr came out and talked some trash with Lawler and then Lawler said that he was going to go to Wrestlemania and win the royal rumble, which prompted Ted to punk out Lawler, only to get punched out cold! Yep. Lawler punched out Ted Dibiase. I'm hoping that Lawler completely punches out Cole sometime soon.
A weird promo was made, which I assumed was Awesome Kong. All it said was 2/21/11 and that's it. I'm not sure what it meant, or who it was for.
This match was boring. Daniel Bryan got Tyson Kidd into the Labell Lock with relative ease. Kidd is on his way to being fired. I like Gail Kim, I'd love to hang out with her for a while. I don't like the Bella Twins.
Daniel Bryan defeated Tyson Kidd
This next match was champion vs champion, and it was interesting to see. The match was moving fast, and Edge seemed to be the better of the two, despite The miz getting some nice shots in. Edge tried to get the spear on Miz but hit the turnbuckle, and as Miz was getting this match in the bag, John Cena got on the mic and got the whole crowd to chant Miz is awful. Edge hit the spear and pinned Miz!
Edge defeated The Miz
The divas had a tag match and it was boring. There were a few nice moments, but a few moments don't make a great match. Laylacool win again, and Eve gets pinned. Layla has a nice finisher, and McCool interfering was good.
Laycool defeated Eve & Natalya
The Usos got killed in this match, which was nothing but a dance contest. This was the dumbest thing I've seen on raw in a long time.
Khali & Mark Henry defeated The Usos in a dance contest
Another weird ad was shown. It was dark, rainy, and just really dark. It simply said 2/21/11...I'm not sure what it is.
The next was a Raw Rumble match. 7 Men will enter in 9 second inervals, and regular rumble rules applies. The winner will face the WWE Champion at the PPV next month, and the rest of the six will be in the Raw side of the Elimination Match, fair enough? I hope so.
The man who drew #1 was none other than John Morrison
The man who drew #2 was none other than Sheamus
The two opponents fought each other with relative ease, not speeding through the match but having some good overall bumps. Morrison seemed to be getting the better of the exchange early on.
#3 John Cena
John Cena drew #3 and came out to a great ovation, and started mopping up immediately. He started with mopping up Sheamus easily, getting the crowd riled up. He then tried hitting the Attitude Adjustment on Morrison, but it was reversed and Cena got knocked out with relative ease.
#4 Cm Punk
The leader of the new Nexus was the guy that came out next, and he had a vendetta with Cena. He came in like a house on fire, hitting anything that moved, and completely knocking out everyone. He was the freshest man, and was doing a great deal of fighting, which was good to see overall.
#5 R Truth
Truth and Morrison both were nearly eliminated and both threw themselves over the top rope and back into the ring. The heels were all over the faces in this one, as Punk and Sheamus seemed to be taking control. The crowd was cheering for Cena like crazy.
#6 Jerry The King Lawler
Lawler was the next man to get called in and he wasn't half bad. He hit everyone with right hands, and was getting a chance to shine. He got a nice Jerry chant from the crowd, and he was giving it his best shot, and nearly eliminated Cm Punk at one point.
#7 Randy Orton
Orton was the 7th man, and Punk went underneath the ring to hide. Orton immediately was looking for him, under the ring, eventually got a hold of Punk's leg and dragged him out from under the ring. He then went to pummeling Punk. The match finally got all 7 members, and it was cool to see. Punk was immediately eliminated, and R Truth then eliminated Orton! It looked like it wasn't planned, which I liked. John Cena eliminated R Truth, and nearly got Morrison out. Morrison then got Cena over the top rope, and as Morrison and Cena were fighting on the apron, Sheamus nearly got eliminated! Three men were on the apron and only Lawler was left in the ring! This was high drama for sure, but all three men eventually got back into the ring.
All four men were back in and Sheamus was nearly Eliminated, and this match was definitely one of the best things I've seen in a long time. A great way to end Raw after a great Rumble. Cena got Sheamus into an STF and it didn't matter, but Morrison hit Starship Pain on Cena, and wow, I was marking out for all four men in this match, including Lawler who nearly eliminated Morrison! Sheamus hit Morrison off the apron with a Bro kick (i know it's broad or whatever), eliminating him. Cena, Lawler and Sheamus were the last people left.
Lawler was trying his hardest to get John Cena eliminated, and it was surreal to say the least. Lawler was pushed into Cena and that eliminated him, and Sheamus tried to Bro Kick Lawler, and he got eliminated next with help from Cena, leaving none other than JERRY THE KING LAWLER as the WINNER of the Raw Rumble!
JERRY "THE KING" LAWLER won the Raw Rumble
Jerry Lawler will face The Miz at the Elimination Chamber. I can't imagine Lawler winning the WWE championship. I just can't imagine him winning but you never really know.

WWE Monday Night Raw 1/10/11 Review
I feel like I haven't had an adequate break from pro-wrestling in a long time. I feel like I'm overloaded with wrestling and yet can't make a dime with ads, or anyone buying anything on amazon. I'm sorry to vent, but when you've been unemployed for 16 months, and have to pay back a student loan for your education, you get kind of bummed sometimes.
Santino & Kozlov came out for the tag team championship match, but it didn't go down, because Nexus ran down and beat the champions up. They were all wearing new shirts, which looked awesome. This new group is amazing folks, and I like it, I really like where it's going.
CM Punk cut a promo and said that everyone has to prove that they are great...and that there will be an initiation!
Punk pulled out McGullicutty and was told he would have to get beaten into the group, gang land style!
Alberto Del Rio defeated R Truth
This was a quick match with not a lot of great action, but some good moments. Towards the end of the match, the two battled outside of the ring and Del Rio's ring announcer distracted R Truth and was counted out! That's right, Del Rio gets the win via countout. Del Rio is a great heel, and I hope they continue with it, cause he can generate some great heat.
This show was weird, that's all I can say...there were some seriously gay things with Nexus like getting "whipped"??? You had to see it to believe it.
Mark Henry & Daniel Bryan defeated Ted Dibiase & Tyson Kidd
I saw this match on Thursday, so it was ok. The same match we saw, only this time it seemed that Daniel Bryan and Mark Henry were short on time so this match was rushed and featured some heavy hitting offense. It eventually just had the good guys go over. The Bellas looked hot.
Big Show came out and beat up David Otunga.
John Morrison defeated Sheamus
Once again, Sheamus couldn't beat John Morrison. This is kind of odd booking if you ask me. John Morrison took one hell of a beating though, so this wasn't a burial match of any kind. Sheamus really had to work hard here, but when it was all said and done John Morrison managed to turn things around and won. Morrison's new push is awesome, and people are getting behind every win. Sheamus has been taking some serious hits, and hopefully he's being pushed into a Triple H match...sooner than later.
The King Jerry Lawler talked about the first inductee to be in the WWE Hall of Fame, and it is none other than:
Shawn Michaels
Wow. That's all I can say. Those video packages are awesome.
HBK came out and and talked about how great it is to go into the Hall of Fame. That prompted Alberto Del Rio to cut a heel promo. Yep. I kid you not. HBK listened but as Del Rio finished up, he got a face full of CHIN MUSIC! Yep. I kid you not, it looked impressive and Del Rio was out cold! It was awesome! I marked out like a 10 year old Cena fan.
CM Punk cut another promo, and Cena chimed in via Satellite....and well...he cut a promo on Punk...it was boring.
Randy Orton & Jerry Lawler defeated The Miz & Alex Riley
Alex Riley got completely killed in this match up because Randy Orton wouldn't let The Miz get involved with the match. That being said, Riley took a lot of offense, and it was insane. Lawler hit his mid rope fist drop and won the match for his team. That was that.
A strange night in wrestling, that's all I can say. The Nexus thing was weird. The titles seemed secondary. The wrestling was rushed, and it seemed like there wasn't much time for much more. Oh well.
Next week, John Cena will face Cm Punk! It should be good.

WWE Monday Night Raw 12/20/10 Review
One night after WWE TLC 2010 we get Monday Night Raw, and The King said it best: We are here around Christmas and we start the show with The Grinch. Yep. The Miz was getting booed out of the building, and for anyone that saw the show last night, you know why The Miz is really hated right now.
The Miz got into the ring and started talking trash and what not. He kept rambling when the lights went out and Alex Riley came out as the "Ghost of Christmas Past"...I kid you not.
Michael Cole came out as another ghost...I kid you not. They were doing A Christmas Carol. I couldn't believe this. I liked the Muppet one though.
John Morrison came out and confronted the Miz. That's right, John Morrison came out and talkd to the Miz. He wasn't half bad, and the crowd was fully behind John Morrison. Alex Riley got into Morrison's face and got punched out for his action. Sheamus then ran down and beat up Morrison, and Riley got punched out by Jerry Lawler! Punk was in the booth, by the way.
I absolutely loved the psychology of Sheamus kicking Morrison in the knee, and was a nice touch to throwback to last night. I loved how The Miz, after last night's championship defense, had to wrestle tonight.
Melina defeated Alicia Fox and Eve
This match was atrocious. This match was seriously one of the worst matches I've seen in a long time. They can't wrestle, and it was painfully obvious throughout. This was sad, considering last night I was marking out huge for the divas table match. Alicia Fox nearly killed Melina with a powerbomb in the corner of the ring. Eve managed to get some offense in and nearly kicked Alicia Fox's head off. A standing moonsault was hit, which should've got the win for Eve. Eve dove off the top rope, while Melina rolled up Alicia Fox to get the win. The finish was well done, but the rest of the match was nothing to remember, that's for sure.
Post match, Melina slapped the heck out of Natalya and it looked like it hurt.
Daniel Bryan defeated William Regal
I was shocked to see a pur wrestling match on Raw. Daniel Bryan was facing off with William Regal and there was some nice counters and mat wrestling here. It wasn't your standard Daniel Bryan match as Regal had his number for a good portion of this match up. At one point during this bout, Regal and Bryan exchanged a series of European Uppercuts which was impressive to say the least. Neither man could get the upper hand but eventually Bryan hooked in his crossface lock and Regal tapped. This was one of the better matches I've seen on Raw, and defeats one of the better mat technicians still going today.
Santino & Tamina defeated Ted Dibiase & Maryse
Dibiase and Santino did most of this match up and it wasn't half bad. Dibiase was ahead of the game, but Santino was able to set up a few moves and eventually was going for the Cobra but stopped short of hitting Maryse. Tamina gave Maryse a superkick and then went to the top rope and you guessed it, she shit a nice throwback, Superfly Splash in tribute of Jimmy Superfly Snuka and won the match! A good entertaining match up with some nice moves, but mostly a throwaway affair. It was entertaining though, I liked it, for a change.
John Cena was completely over with a Texas crowd. THis was seriously the loudest Cena crowd that I've seen in a long time, and why not? I guess we'll have to just deal with it.
Vickie Guerrero, of all people came down to the ring. Vickie was getting completely booed out of the building whenever she tried to talk. The crowd was completely going nuts with the "you suck" chants, and it was amazing. The crowd was just so amazed at this. Vickie wanted Jerry Lawler to give her an apology from last week. Lawler and Cena exchanged jokes about Vickie Guerrero's weight and it was hilarious, although a bit cheesy.
The general manager chimed in, and I was marking out huge for the possibilities of a Dolph Ziggler vs John Cena title match. But there was not title on the line, but heck, I was marking out huge for this one. I guess I'm having a good day or something because up to this point I was marking out huge for Monday Night Raw.
John Cena defeated Dolph Ziggler
Dolph Ziggler started this match really hot, stomping out Cena with every other move. He was doing some great work in ring, but Cena was finding ways to stop the onslaught of offense. John Cena pushed forward and the crowd was 100% behind him. Cena hit a nice Fisherman's Suplex and I was watching a new livelier Cena here, alongside a smart Dolph Ziggler, who was ducking and diving the traditional Cena offense. The two went back and forth with some high flying offense, some nice rest spots, and overall an entertaining match up that led to Ziggler countering the Attitude Adjustment at one point, and Cena blocking the Sleeper Hold in another. Ziggler hit a nice sideslam, and this match was getting hotter than a lot of matches out of the Raw year. Ziggler's dropkick to the jaw of Cena toward the end of this match was picture perfect, and I once again am saying that given the right opportunity, Ziggler can move to the main event with ease. Cena was not a one trick pony here, he hit his moves, but also was wise enough to counter some moves, and the crowd ate it up. The STF was locked in and Ziggler tapped but Vickie provided the distraction, which allowed ZIggler to hit the Zig Zag on Cena and nearly pinned Cena for the 3 count! I was going nuts at this point, you were going nuts if you watched this match, and these two were putting on a show. Dolph Ziggler took the padding off the corner of the ring, and grabbed the Intercontinental Belt but was no match for the attitude adjustment, and Cena went completely nuts as Cena took out the champion, which was just a compelling match up. 3 Stars easily.
Post match, CM Punk left the broadcast booth and hit John Cena with a chair and walked away. That's right, Punk struck against Cena, and walkd away. Is CM Punk ready to compete? I don't know, but it was interesting to say the least.
Dolph Ziggler challenged John Cena to a rematch on Smackdown tomorrow and Vickie threw herself into the match. Yep.
Jerry Lawler, Randy Orton, and John Morrison defeated The Miz, Alex Riley & Sheamus
This match started fast and furious, and I enjoyed it. The Miz played up his scared persona, and Sheamus eventually got the green light to go into the match. Lawler was the weak link here, with the monster heels mopping up the king with relative ease. Lawler would get a comeback and eventually tag in Morrison to get the sides even up. Sheamus and Morrison really work well together, and Alex Riley was just getting punished. Sheamus focused on the knee of Morrison and The Miz eventually came in and fought the weakened #1 contender. Towards the end, Randy Orton got the tag and he started unleashing on The MIz. He hit his DDT, He was on a roll and it looked like this one was over, but it wasn't mean to be just yet. Morrison took care of Sheamus, Lawler was out, Miz managed to get the upper hand after Riley took an RKO. Lawler got the tag and unleashed on Miz, and Orton hit an RKO on MIZ which let JERRY LAWLER GET THE PIN ON THE MIZ! I MARKED OUT HUGE! Lawler pinned The Miz!!! I kid you not! The Miz was pinned and all was said and done!
They plugged WWE Smackdown, and added a match for Smackdown. The Miz would wrestle Randy Orton!
A great Raw overall. There were a lot of good matches here, and some quality wrestling. WWE really tried hard to make this night a good one. I loved it, you probably liked it, and it was a nice piece of wrestling for a change.
Ok folks, if you're reading this please do me a favor and check out Amazon.com here and purchase something, your purchase will help this blog keep going, and maybe even let me get internet access at home so I'm not marking out huge at the library.
WWE Monday Night Raw 11/29/10 Review
The king of the ring tournament was tonight and opened up with Alex Riley saying that a party is in order. Cm Punk is back in the booth for a 3 man raw announce team. The opening match would prove to start the night off right.
Alberto Del Rio defeated Daniel Bryan
Daniel Bryan really put on a match with Alberto Del Rio, and both men proved to be interesting to watch. Del Rio was really pushing around Daniel in this matchup, and after the halfway point, I wasn't sure if Daniel Bryan could come back from the beat down he was receiving. Bryan's picture perfect back suplex with a bridge was amazing, even if he didn't get the pinfall. Del Rio and Bryan were putting on a clinic of how pro-wrestling should be, and had the crowd going for quite some time. Once again, Bryan dove through the middle rope onto the outside and it looked like once again, he hurt his shoulder. Del Rio side stepped the missile dropkick, and Del Rio got his submission move and won the match! This was a classic wrestling match with lots of great moments, and Del Rio moves forward, I enjoyed it greatly.
R Truth challenged any member of Nexus to go one on one. Backstage, John Cena beat up McGullicutty...it was an interesting pov type camera angle too.
John Morrison defeated Cody Rhodes
This match was quite fast, and Cody Rhodes folded over and lost. Cody made a quick mistake and Morrison made him pay. This was an interesting bout, even if it seemed like a burial. MOrrison cut his lip wide open, and he was bleeding after the match, but he moves forward.
Drew McIntyre vs. Ezekiel Jackson double count out
These two fought to a double countout, which is strange, since Zeke has been on a roll as of late, and McIntyre is on his way to getting fired, if you ask me. Not a great match, not a terrible match, and the double countout means someone gets a bye.
The Miz cut a promo, and it wasn't half bad. Jerry Lawler got on the mic to retort though. Michael Cole tried to stop Jerry Lawler from getting involved with the Miz, cause he might get beat up.
It was announced that Lawler will fight Miz in a wwe title TLC match in the main event.
Sheamus defeated Kofi Kingston
Kofi put on a lot of great moves here, and it wasn't a burial match. It was relatively short, but it was easy for Sheamus. Kofi hit "Thunder in Paradise" which looked great, but Sheamus managed to comeback and hit the "bro-kick" on Kofi, and that was that. Sheamus moves forward.
Yoshi Tatsu & Mark Henry defeated Justin Gabriel & Heath Slater
Mark Henry and Yoshi Tatsu had their hands full during this match, as the Nexus members were making quick work of the makeshift team. Mid-match, John Cena came down and walkd through the crowd with tickets in hand! He then sat down with tickets in the front row! Once again WWE rehashed the Matt Hardy storyline...sadly. Nexus then had some hard times with Mark Henry, who was dominating the smaller men with ease. Mark Henry got the pinfall, and Cena ran in to get an AA on Slater, through a table and spilling Cm Punk's diet soda!!
John Morrison defeated Alberto Del Rio
Del Rio seemed poised to win this match up, and it looked like a done deal at one point, but Del Rio was distracted by Rey Mysterio and BOOOM John Morrison knocked him out and won! Morrison and Sheamus are in the finals of the King of the Ring Tournament!
Wade Barrett got on the mic but was surprised to see John Cena beat up Nexus and then hitting Justin Gabriel with an AA onto a car hood! WOO! Cena wants Nexus vs Cena in a thunderdome cage match, if you ask me...Uncensored 2010! BOOK IT!
Natalya & Friends defeated The Bad Girls
ANother terrible six man tag team match. Lame. The Divas are the worst.
Sheamus defeated John Morrison to become the King of the Ring
Sheamus didn't just roll over for Morrison. Morrison put on a good amount of action against the Celtic Warrior, but Sheamus outlasted the rock star and finished off Morrison to win the match. Not a great match, but impressive none the less, winning two matches. King Sheamus, not half bad. No sign of Triple H, that'd have been huge, but that's fine.
I'm not sure why I didn't see this one coming, I thought for some odd reason that Del Rio could get far in the tournament, but I guess it was telegraphed that Morrison and Sheamus would fight in the finals. If history does in fact repeat itself yet again, we'll see more from Morrison and Sheamus including a cage match somewhere down the line...just watch.
The Miz defeated Jerry Lawler in a TLC match
I wasn't sure if Lawler could actually win this one, but it could in fact happen. The Miz was dominant early on, and was just beating the crap out of King Lawler, and it started to look sad. Then King changed things up, with a steel chair, the equalizer! He bent a chair on the back of Miz and started a comeback trail against the MIz. Alex Riley got involved at several points in the match, and after some fight, he got punched out and thrown threw a TABLE! Lawler was definitely not getting buried in this match, that's for sure, and the crowd even started chanting Jerry at one point. Miz got socked out huge from the top rope, and he FLEW, I swear, FLEW through a table! The crowd went nuts, I marked out huge! King actually looked like he could win. Michael Cole at one point left the announce booth and tried to revive the MIz at one point. CM Punk was left on the mic alone, Lawler was crawling to the top getting the world title! Miz was out, Alex Riley was out, Michael COle stopped King from getting the belt! MICHAEL COLE STOPPED JERRY LAWLER! Lawler beat the crap out of Michael Cole and the MIz got back up and the two were fighting on top of the ladder for the WWE TITLE!!!! This match was stellar, I was going nuts for this match, and this was completely believable! I was marking out huge as the two fought for the title on top of the ladder, Lawler eventually fell off the top and Miz got the belt, winning...one of the BEST main events on WWE television this year! I kid you not, this was THAT good!
Great overall night in wrestling and that main event was just fabulous. CM Punk on the mic was great, Miz took some sick bumps, Cole getting beat up, oh man, so much greatness at the end of this show. I loved it, I absolutely loved it. Wow, what a night!

WWE Monday Night Raw 7/26/10 Review
The show started with John Cena in ring, after a long promo that recapped the last few weeks. John Cena cut a random promo about Nexus...whatever...who cares.
Chris Jericho came out and helped Cena cut a promo. Sadly, I didn't care, despite the loud chants from the crowd. Jericho and Cena talked about random crap and how Cena wasn't quite different than Nexus....whatever...I hate this crap.
The GM chimed in, and said that Nexus would fight in an elimination match and Chris Jericho & John Cena would fight together as a team....oh man, I'm already bored.
Randy Orton defeated 1 Of the USO Brothers
I didn't take the time to remember the USO brother that fought against Orton here. It's not important, and NO ONE CARES ABOUT THE USOS therefore, I just took this match for what it was; a jobber match. An RKO was hit and this match was over...who cares. Sheamus was watching, and gets paid to do nothing tonight.
Orton was jumped by one of the USO brothers and then Sheamus jumped in to attack but was thwarted by Orton. Orton hit a huge RKO and knocked out Sheamus.
THE MIZ ran down and was about to cash in the briefcase and he did!
I admit, I MARKED OUT HUGE! THE MIZ CASHED IN! THE MIZ CASHED IN! Orton came in and hit an RKO on THE MIZ and he was knocked out solid!
RKO once again hits! The cash in is done....dang....dang....I marked out huge, I've never been this excited in the modern era of wrestling.
The Summerslam rewind was The Honky Tonk Man from the 80's and my favorite moment as well. Ultimate Warrior winning the Intercontinental Championship!
Edge vs The Great Khali
The Great Khali and Edge put on a slow moving match up, and was interrupted by The Nexus. Edge ran away and that was that.
The Nexus got in the ring and no one did anything...they just stood there and Khali left.
The Nexus defeated Yoshi Tatsu, Evan Bourne, King Jerry Lawler, The Hart Dynasty, Goldust and Mark Henry
The Nexus won this match with relative ease. All members got some moves in and everyone was squashed. It was a sad state of affairs, and unfortunately, once again, at the cost of many up and coming stars. Bourne was the last to be eliminated and he got torn apart in the end. Too bad for him. Nexus is like NEW WORLD ORDER LITE right now, and they continue to just beat up everyone....oh well.
Alicia Fox defeated 1 of the Bellas
Alicia Fox wins again...I hate the divas division.
Ted Dibiase defeated John Morrison
John Morrison had this thing sewn up, and I couldn't believe how good he was in this match up. Dibiase was flopping all over the ring and at one point it looked like he was knocked out silly. Dibiase and Maryse tried to interfere but Morrison was helped by R Truth on the outside. After a failed cheating pinfall, Morrison and Truth collided and Dibiase got the win. Not a terrible match, but not exactly a great win.
Post match, Morrison and R Truth got into a heated debate and it looked bad. Morrison walked away and basically said Truth was not his friend...ouch.
The Miz & Sheamus defeated John Cena & Chris Jericho
This odd-couple tag team is a WWE tradition to end raw. I didn't care for it, as I am not buying either story lines, aside from the Miz cashing in all the time. This match was your standard tag team fare with no one getting an upper hand over the other until the end of the match up with Super Cena getting the crowd going and hitting all his moves. Jericho turned on Cena and hit the codebreaker and Miz and Sheamus got the win!
Post match, Cena and Jericho were fighting. Then Khali came out to calm things down and Edge came out and speared Khali. Then Truth and Morrison came out and were fighting. The whole Team Cena fighting thing was funny....wow...should make for an interesting Summerslam.

WWE Monday Night Raw 7/20/09 Results
Kofi Kingston, MVP, and Primo defeated Jack Swagger, Carlito, and The Big Show
Jerry Lawler defeated The Brian Kendrick
Mark Henry defeated Chris Jericho via disqualification
Hornswoggle defeated Chavo Guerrero in a sharp dressed man match
Triple H & John Cena defeated Orton & Legacy
WWE Monday Night Raw 7/20/09 Review
John Cena opened the show, and rambled. The most important thing I got form him was that the WWE championship match at Night of Champions was the same Main Event from Wrestlemania a few years back! What the hell? Shut up Cena! I am having trouble with this show already. Orton came out at some point…geez, a long night indeed.
Triple H claims he DIDN’T care if he won the title! Yeah Right! YEAH RIGHT! I almost fell out of my chair. Oh yeah, he came out to the party. The three started to random talk and it was boring.
Backstage Sanitno and ZZ Top had some great comedic stuff, with Santino getting a beard and a guitar. Sure it wasn’t perfect, but it had something funny. Nevermind, this was stupid, I’m tired.
Kofi Kingston, MVP, and Primo defeated Jack Swagger, Carlito, and The Big Show
Here we go, your standard six man tag. There were rushed spots, to slow down moments from The Big Show, giving the match a false sense of timing. This match had a lot of slow moments, but the smaller guys made this exciting, especially towards the end with the faces going over with some sweet reversals, including a nice Huricanrana/Head Scissors over the top rope from Kofi on big show. Primo pinned Carlito, after a nice head butt off the top rope.
Post match Big Show beat up everyone, and then stood there like a chump. These men will face each other in a US Title Six Pack challenge this weekend.
Back with ZZ Top, Chris Jericho was talking to the guys and wanted to jam. They set up Jericho in a match, it was hilarious….hilariously awkward.
Jerry Lawler defeated The Brian Kendrick
Lawler got into the ring and was prepared to wrestle The Brian Kendrick. Lawler was getting mauled early on, seriously just getting mauled. King got back into it, countered The Kendrick, then hit his second rope fist to the face and won! The Brian Kendrick was buried by Jerry Lawler, and that was the end of that.
Mark Henry defeated Chris Jericho via disqualification
Jericho was trying to fight Mark Henry, which to me, made Jericho look weak. He wasn’t getting as much offense to hit as hard as some of Henry’s other recent opponents, mainly Evan Bourne. However, Jericho is a technician not necessarily a high flyer. Henry wasn’t going down often, and Jericho was obviously getting frustrated that he couldn’t chop down the big man down. Jericho couldn’t turn Henry over into the Walls of Jericho, Henry immediately throwing him out with superior leg strength.
Jericho then, out of desperation, hit Henry with a chair, and got dq’d and he kept fighting Henry. Henry got the last laugh with a sick World’s Strongest Slam, and you know what? The crowd started to cheer, but I heard that a few weeks back his cheers are being piped in and edited. I don’t know….I’m too tired for this.
Hornswoggle defeated Chavo Guerrero in a sharp dressed man match
Sure it’s comedic, sure some of the fans like it. However, I’m sick of seeing Chavo Guerrero get buried in the WWE. What did he ever do to deserve this? I don’t know, this is stupid. I won’t even dignify it with more than that.
Worst match in the history of Raw…so stupid!
Santino ran off ZZ Top by stripping to “She Got Legs” so stupid. Raw is like a punch in the face.
What the hell? Next week SHAQ is in charge! What the heck? What the! WHYYYYY? I’m so tired of this BS, someone hire me to write for WWE, I’d stand up, I’d get fired for the sake of it…I don’t know, I’m tired.
Rosa Mendes & Alicia Fox defeated Kellly Kelly and Gail Kim
This match had all your standards, the divas botching it, trying too hard. I wonder if someone in the divas camp is going to get fired soon. There were a few bright moments, Kelly seems to be a little bit better than usual, but I’m not sure if that necessiarly means a whole lot. Overall, I didn’t really like it, and it was a good thing it wasn’t too long of a match, it ended abruptly as all “divas” matches do on wwe television.
Triple H & John Cena defeated Orton & Legacy
This match was weird, it seemed like it was painfully obvious that the bad guys (Legacy) weren’t going to win. I remember when stables were good, like the Four Horsemen, and you had to really fight to beat those guys. This match started off with Cena and Orton cleaning house with ease, it was another cookie cutter match beginning. The match, of course, turned around and for once Legacy looked like a well oiled machine. Why they can’t do that from the on set is beyond me. The Brain Busters used to be able to do that, I’m just saying. Triple H was getting worked for a good portion of the match, but was able to get a hot tag to John Cena and this thing fell off the rails and Cena rolled up Orton out of the blue. It seemed like a forced, surprise ending because time was running out, and it was ludicrous. I hated this raw.
Raw sucked, but you know what? I understand. What can ya do? Next week SHAQ as GM!

Raw Results 9/15/08 and Review
Live from Memphis, Tn we get a great kick off to Raw with the world heavyweight title. This has to be a first in a long time, as we haven’t seen a legitimate cage match on Raw in a long time, nor have we opened Raw with a legitimate world title match.
Chris Jericho defeated C.M Punk in a Steel Cage Match
The match was actually evenly matched. We had offense from both sides of the coin, with Punk getting in a lot of punishment early on, and losing control midway through. Chris Jericho turned things around after the commercial break, and slapped on the Walls of Jericho, and Punk was nearly outside of the ring. At one point he even had one foot outside of the steel cage and was on his way to victory, but Jericho managed to drag him back in. A big highlight was Punk putting up a knee during Jericho’s Lionsault attempt, clearly hurting the champion. The ending came when C.M. Punk hit Jericho with a head-butt and knocked Jericho right out of the door! Jericho literally fell out of the ring, missed the stairs and landed straight on his back!
This match was great, but I didn’t like how there wasn’t any blood, and how the match wasn’t very long at all. They made it seem somewhat easy to get into this match, and I believe that both men have longer cage matches in them, but of course, this is Raw so I’m sure they had to adjust for time constraints. Otherwise, this match was not half bad, watching Jericho and Punk shines a light on what could be to come from the WWE Raw side of things.
Candice Michelle defeated Jillian
This match was stupid. I still think that Candice is trying to hard to look and act like Victoria. I was impressed at one point when Jillian delivered a clean and good looking Samoan drop, but other than that, this match was stupid. I can do without all the moaning and groaning, from the hair pulling. The camera kept cutting to Beth Phoenix, who was ringside, and I must admit she looked nice without too much make up on. Back to the match, this was forgettable and the crowd didn’t seem to be too into it at all. In fact, this match was so bad that Jillian had some rest holds and was singing and yelling midway through the match, much to everyone’s dismay. I know she’s trying to get heat, but this is just ridiculous and isn’t doing anything good for me or the fans. This match was so bad, that even the commentary was lacking as Cole and The King had a lot of dead air and just didn’t have anything to say about this horrible match up. I blinked and missed the ending, but Candice Michelle won this match up, and was nearly breaking her bra or top, whatever you want to call it.
JBL defeated Tommy Dreamer
I don’t know how many times I have to say this, Tommy Dreamer needs to quit professional wrestling. I’m not sure what he is trying to accomplish anymore, he’s not chasing the ECW title, he’s just jobbing out all the time. I know that it sure beats working 9 to 5, but does it really? I’m not sure what Tommy Dreamer is getting paid, but he’s really taking a beating day in and day out and he’s never really winning anything, he’s just taking chair shots, and losing to established wrestlers. This was a great example of that. This match was not even five minutes in length and Dreamer got no offense in, he was manhandled by JBL then the clothesline from Hell and the quick win for JBL. This match sucked, and I hate when the ECW originals get squashed.
Post match, JBL sat in the ring demanding that Mike Adamle come out and make him the number 1 contender to the Heavyweight championship. It only prompted Randy Orton to come out and talk smack. This brought out Santino and Beth Phoenix, and our 10 o’clock main event is a promo, and I’m not sure what’s going on. This segment dragged on and eventually Batista showed up to join the party. Just like you might have guessed, it ended in a melee, and Batista dropped Santino like a bad habit. Afterwards, Beth Phoenix got in his face and slapped Batista! After that, BATISTA delievered a SPINE BUSTER TO BETH PHOENIX dropping her on TOP OF SANTINO!!!!!
BEST PROMO SEGMENT ENDING EVER!
Priceless & Manu defeated King Jerry Lawler, Kofi Kingston, and Charlie Haas
Charlie Haas came out dressed as Jim Ross and make some hilarious comments as Ross. He also plugged Jim Ross’s bbq sauce, available at jrsbarbq.com. I figure that since Raw was in Memphis, Jerry Lawler had to wrestle, and he took a lot of punishment from Priceless. Haas ran down to do commentary midway through the matchup, prompting a huge pop! Haas got into the match and the Crowd was finally into everything and anything he was doing. He cleared the ring, and nearly won the match for his team! I kid you not, the crowd was going wild for his antics! Ted Dibiase got the win with a million dollar dream Russian leg sweep combination, and I don’t have a name for that move, but it looked good.
Jamie Noble defeated Paul Burchill
I’m surprised that the WWE is pushing Jamie Noble, even if he’s not always winning, towards the close of the show. This match happened after a lot of main eventers had already gone out there and wrestled. Jamie Noble was fast, and I do mean fast. This match was interesting, if only to see Jamie Noble’s ferocity, he really drove his point home. He went out and attacked Paul until Jamie Noble got an arm lock on him and made Paul submit. I’m more disappointed that wwe is not allowing Paul Burchill to get a better shot, he’s getting trashed by Jamie Noble, of all people! This was a squash match. Post match William Regal came out as boyfriend to Noble’s former love interest. Let’s just forget that Paul Burchill even works for wwe, the wwe has.
Rey Mysterio Jr. defeated Kane via DQ
This match was all Kane. Until the end, or should I say after the match, when Evan Bourne came out to save Rey and probably forecasting a handicap match or a future tag team for a title run.
The biggest thing to come out of Raw wasn't the wrestling, it was the announcement that HBK will face Chris Jericho for the world title in a LADDER match at No Mercy!

Raw Results and Review 8/26/2008 Idiot Edition
I spent a long time reviewing this weeks raw and for whatever reasons I didn't email it to myself to post. So instead of the usual review, I'm writing this thing upside down and backwards in hopes of giving you guys a review and results in one post. I'll make sure to get the ECW review back in line rather than this have review of sorts.
World Heavyweight Champion CM Punk defeated JBL in a non-title match
CM Punk is awesome in this match. It appeared that the WWE heard critiques about the formulaic structure that was plaguing Punks matches lately. He took charge early and really got a lot of offense in this time around, but of course, JBL wasn't going to let Punk off the hook too easily. JBL had this thing sewed up on several occasions, but after not being able to get Punk down enough to win, Punk hit the GTS out of nowhere and the crowd erupted! Punk won again, and the Crowd really went nuts for the win. Overall a good match up.
Kelly Kelly defeated WWE Women's Champion Beth Phoenix
Beth Phoenix got hit hard in the face and had a bloody nose for most of the match up. This was a really standard divas match up, and really wasn't anything worth mentioning too much about. Kelly got a lot of offense in, but overall it just wasn't fluid. Hopefully Gail Kim comes in and offers some more wrestling.
Primo Colon defeated "Charlito"
Charlie Haas came out dressed as Carlito. Is Carlito fired? I'm not sure what was up with this one, but this was not that great. Primo looks good, and is a smaller wrestler. He did some high flying moves, and was really not half bad. However, this match wasn't anything worth mentioning. Charlie Haas is on his way out again, and I wouldn't be surprised if he was fired sooner than later.
World Tag Team Champions Cody Rhodes & Ted DiBiase defeated Jerry "The King" Lawler & "Hacksaw" Jim Duggan
Horrible train wreck of a match up. The tag champions win this one, even though Jerry Lawler gave it a good try.
Intercontinental Champion Santino Marella defeated Kofi Kingston
Santino escapes this one with an assist from Beth Phoenix. Kingston had this one won, but somehow Santino escapes with the title and a good defense. This match wasn't all that great, but it was cool to see an Intercontinental title match on raw for a change.
Batista defeated Kane by disqualification
This was a boring match. This was a basic big guy match up with random power moves and a dq ending. The show went off the air fast, and I wasn't sure what was going on.
Raw Results 8/26/2008:

Overall an ok Raw. I'm sorry that this review isn't as long as usual. I somehow lost my original review in the process of transferring it from one computer to another. So I had to redo it fast. I know, it sucks, but hey, it happens right? I might post the original if I can find it, and it might be different, but we'll see what happens.

World Heavyweight Champion CM Punk defeated JBL in a non-title match
Kelly Kelly defeated WWE Women's Champion Beth Phoenix
Primo Colon defeated "Charlito"
World Tag Team Champions Cody Rhodes & Ted DiBiase defeated Jerry "The King" Lawler & "Hacksaw" Jim Duggan
Intercontinental Champion Santino Marella defeated Kofi Kingston
Batista defeated Kane by disqualification
Overall an ok Raw. I'm sorry that this review isn't as long as usual. I somehow lost my original review in the process of transferring it from one computer to another. So I had to redo it fast. I know, it sucks, but hey, it happens right? I might post the original if I can find it, and it might be different, but we'll see what happens.

WWE Raw Review 7/29/08 New GM Night
I expect that you, the reader, saw Raw and are not relying on me to recap the whole show for your. So instead of my usual review, I’m going to mix things up a little, and start adding more commentary. Anyone can recap the events, but this is a wwe blog, and not a wwe news site, so please bare with me as I get down to some roots and start going on about random crap that happened on Raw. I’ll still have the quick results at the bottom for those of you that want the straight up truth. If you check out the right side of the site you can get into the more news related topics. So let’s go!

John Cena In Ring Segment:
John Cena is wearing a hilarious hat that looks like an Army Hat, and it says “you Can’t See me”. One thing is for sure, Batista didn’t see that punch to the face coming. I can’t believe how many people in the arena are booing the crap out of Cena. I know that when I went to see WWE live in Los Angeles, Ca. (No Way Out PPV) the kids were over powering anyone booing Cena, myself included. Batista comes out to a sick bop, with an old Washington Bullets jersey, and the crowd is goes nuts.
I’m hoping this leads into a John Cena heel turn, and Batista turns full blow face, and we get to the old Cena. I liked when Cena was a bad man, and I almost felt like he was going to do it at the beginning of the segment.
Batista forgiving Cena was funny to me, but what was funnier was that Batista slipped up his lines a ton of times, but he kept recovering. Batista is lucky he is in his home town.
Cena vs. Batista would be interesting, and I was scrambling inside my head to see if they have ever gone one on one, and I couldn’t remember.
Shane McMahon Comes Out:
Cena vs. Batista gets squashed right away, and there is a tag team match up coming. Lame. I thought for sure McMahon was going to be the new GM and that he was going to announce himself as the General Manager, but he made it seem like it was someone else. He then said that CM Punk would wrestle again tonight.
I am once again stating it again. CM Punk is wrestling a lot of singles matches and is working HARDER than Triple H. When is the last time Triple H wrestle an opponent that wasn’t Chavo! Seriously, I don’t believe that Punk is getting a fair shake as the champion.
Santino & Beth Phoenix defeated Kelly Kelly & D-Lo Brown
I marked out big for D-Lo Brown, I thought this could end up being a good match up, but instead, I was sorely disappointed. I didn’t like this match, and I don’t think the fans really liked it at all. D-Lo Brown was thrown out fast, and Santino jumped in to wrestling Kelly Kelly. I kid you not, the WWE allowed Santino to wrestle Kelly and roll her up for the win and a quick victory. This was boring to me, and I knew that the WWE was doing something for the post match rather than the match itself.
Santino’s victory dance was hilarious, he was marching around playing an imaginary trumpet, and acting as though he had just won the world championship, rather than just a random tag team match up. He then gets ready to leave the ring, but Beth grabs him and kisses him, leaving him bewildered in the ring.
So much for that PG rating, right? I think that Man on Woman violence is not PG, but that kiss was so innocent somehow that maybe it cancels out the fact that Santino was wrestling Kelly Kelly instead of D-Lo for the majority of the mixed tag team match up. I still think there is something odd about that.
Shane McMahon Backstage Segment:
JBL sucks, but man does he generate heat! JBL is not my favorite wrestler, but he’s one of the best Heels in the business right now. With Randy Orton out of the picture, JBL is picking up the slack greatly, and his segment with Shane McMahon is great. McMahon didn’t take any slack from JBL, and I hope this sets up a match between the two, where Shane McMahon jumps off the ropes and lands through eight tables, on fire, underwater, in a cage…I’m getting carried away. McMahon taking a phone call in the midst of talking to JBL was hilarious, and JBL looked seriously concerned. JBL needs a little more credit sometimes.
Cody Rhodes & Ted Dibiase Jr. defeated Michael Cole & Jerry The King Lawler
The new general manager changed the match up right before it started, and made Michael Cole Jerry Lawler’s partner instead of Jim Duggan.
*The Announce Team was NOT calling this match, and no replacement was found. This was like being there live, with no one calling the action!!!
Michael Cole stayed outside of the ring for a long time, and Lawler took control of the situation for a while, before getting thrown into the corner. When Michael Cole touched him the ref thought it was a tag, and then we saw Cole get a fast beatdown and a roll up for the win. This was poorly executed and not entertaining, to me. I think its stupid to have Cole in there, for no apparent reason. At least they didn’t really put the boots to him, but it was interesting to see this develop. I don’t believe that the tag team champions should be fighting the announce team.
Mike Adamle comes out to replace Michael Cole. He plays it off that he’s not there for the ECW taping later, and The King doesn’t immediately roast him, but plays along with the notion. It should be noted that Adamle is getting better, and although he’s not as bad as before, he’s not as perfect as Jim Ross, but then again, Ross has been doing it for many decades, so it’s not fair to compare the two directly.
Jamie Noble In Ring Segment:
Noble has some mic skills, and he’s not half bad. However, it’s hard to take him seriously, because he just looks hilarious out there. He’s got new tights, that’s kind of cool. Calling out the Intercontinental Champion isn’t the wisest move, considering Noble hasn’t won a match since he was the Cruiserweight Champion. Oh well, he’s trying to impress a chick, that seems to be his motivation.
Intercontinental Champion Kofi Kingston defeated Jamie Noble
In a quick match up, Kofi Kingston dropped Jamie Noble with every move he had in succession. Kingston basically squashed a jobber as far as I’m concerned, with some impressive moves, and incredible height on his part. I thought it was incredible to see a new African American getting pushed, but his mic skills might be lacking, and that might be where Kingston turns into another Shelton Benjamin after a short time, and back on ECW for the jobber status. However, for now, Kingston is enjoying his run as the Intercontinental Champion, considering he’s defending it a lot more than the previous champions. Noble has no hope, unless there is a new Cruiserweight division coming soon, which I highly doubt. This was a squash match, and was really not worth time, but yet, I found it necessary to talk about it for this much.

CM Punk defeated William Regal
I’m getting used to seeing these types of matches. William Regal basically tears up CM Punk for the majority of the match, and then at the last moments of this match up CM Punk sneaks out a win, but with a bloody lip. Regal works really stiff in this match, and he really puts the boots to Punk, trying to stretch the limits of the Champion. I thought for sure, that Punk might be in trouble on many instances, but he managed to pull one out and win. Regal is looking smaller now, but that might work for him, as he’s faster now. He must be off the juice, but then again, Regal has never had a lot of definition in his body, so maybe this isn’t all that different, just a tad bit smaller. Punk gets mopped up afterwards as Kane and JBL team up to knock out the champ, after the fact, as if he needs to continually be beaten to earn the right to be the champion. I think that Punk is losing steam, and we might start seeing the beginning of the end of his title reign. I’m not sure If I would bank on Punk being champion for a long time, he just seems to be out numbered at each turn.
Y2J’s Final Highlight Reel:
Jericho plays an awesome highlight reel of himself! This was awesome, but too short if you ask me. Jericho is hilarious, and it’s interesting to see the past years of Chris Jericho in the WWE. It was more comedic than in ring, which was stupid, and like I said, it was too short.
Does Chris Jericho really deserve a title shot? I must admit, he did defeat HBK, but come on, does Jericho deserve another shot at the title? Maybe. He did have a title shot when he returned, but maybe it’s time for something new in the title scene, this could be great, but I’m not sure if it’s going to go down the way Jericho thinks.
*It should be noted that Jim Ross comes out to do commentary for the rest of the night alongside Adamle and Lawler.
WWE Women’s Champion Mickie James vs. Jillian
Mickie James is just a carbon copy of Trish Stratus. Don’t believe me? Look at her entrance and mannerisms. They seem to be following the former Women’s champion a lot. Jillian has improved a lot, and really impressed me with some indie maneuvers, and maybe the knockouts in TNA are forcing WWE to train their divas a bit more, as this match was a lot more brutal than recent fair, and maybe the WWE Divas don’t suck as bad as I had previously stated. The crowd seems to be a little dead though, but Mickie James seems to get some positive cheers. I’m not convinced that she’s the best in the company, but she’s a lot better than when she initially started in the WWE as a Trish Stratus stalker. Remember that one? Mickie James wins with no major problem, although Jillian did give her a quick and hard match up. Katie Burchill jumps Mickie James afterwards, right in front of James’ father, and then gets on the mic for no apparent reason. I liked when Paul was a pirate, he had more charisma, and then I noticed something. Mickie James just went through a crazy match, right? Sure, but Katie Burchill comes down to ringside does 4 moves and makes Mickie James seem like she just went through hell? Really? Seriously? I guess so.
John Cena and Batista Backstage Segment:
Batista and John Cena start arguing, and if this sparks a Cena Heel turn, I’m going to mark out like a little girl! Seriously, Turn Cena HEEL!
John Cena & Batista defeated JBL & Kane
Being there live would have been incredible, watching this match at home, it wasn’t all that great, and the match’s only selling point for me was to see what would develop with Batista and John Cena. That’s all I really care about in this match up. I honestly don’t like tag team matches with partners that are supposedly bickering, and then all of a sudden have to team up. It just doesn’t make a lot of sense to me, and it seems to be the Raw and Smackdown standard. Like I said, being there live would be incredible as the emotion of the ring is just over powering, however on television, the only thing I cared about was Cena and Batista. The debate was on heavy in my head, and then I remembered, the General Manager has been teased throughout the whole time! So that added a third element to the madness as well. You knew the ending before the match was over. Cena with the win, the kids will most likely go out and buy more merch. Lame. I think Batista and Cena’s rivalry could have come into play with a massive heel turn. I’m reminded of the classic Ric Flair turns in these matches, where he would get tagged in, and then BOOM the turn! I always liked those. You always saw them coming.
The new General Manager of Raw is:
MIKE ADAMLE!!!!!
I kid you not, Mike Adamle is the new general manager of Raw! WTF? Everyone in the building was swerved completely, and everyone was booing. I was booing at my television. Really? Adamle? Of all the people! One thing is for sure, the people were booing the crap out of Adamle, and that was great. I’m not sure if Adamle is going to be the announcer on ECW still, but it’s a wise move to get him away from commentary and into the general manager’s position. Although, I would have preferred someone like Mick Foley, or maybe even Eric Bischoff, but instead we get Adamle, the most hated announcer in the wwe right now.
WWE Raw Quick Results 7/28/2008
Santino Marella & Beth Phoenix def. D-Lo Brown & Kelly Kelly
World Tag Team Champions Cody Rhodes & Ted DiBiase def. Jerry “The King” Lawler & Michael Cole to retain (World Tag Team Championship Match)
Intercontinental Champion Kofi Kingston def. Jamie Noble
World Heavyweight Champion CM Punk def. William Regal
WWE Women's Champion Mickie James def. Jillian
John Cena & Batista def. JBL & Kane

What about Raw? It wasn’t half bad at times, and there was a lot of anticipation for the General Manager. I thought for sure it was going to be someone else, maybe even Shane McMahon. Why wasn’t it Shane? Most likely he is busy because he’s head of Multimedia/Interactive Media Design for the WWE, and my dream boss. Why not Vince? He’s overloaded previously. Why not Stephanie? She just had a kid didn’t she? Oh well.
The matches on Raw were short and to the point, furthering story lines rather than pushing athleticism. Oddly enough, no signs of London, Snitsky, Rey Mysterio Jr, and many other Raw wrestlers. In fact, the show was devoid of any new and/or scarcely used mid carders with the exception of Jamie Noble, who was quickly squashed fast.
The best part of Raw is hard to say. I’m not sure if there was a best part this week. All the matches weren’t really pushing any limits, and weren’t really creating anything crazy for me. If I had to choose a favorite moment, it would have to be seeing William Regal coming down and giving a good fight to Punk was good, but not the best match that I’ve seen Regal in. Punk narrowly escaping defeat each time reminds me a lot of Hulk Hogan’s entire career, and it shouldn’t be that way in 2008. However, it seems that the WWE is slowly trying to push that style of champion into the forefront. Whatever.
I’m tired.
Raw was ok at best. Nothing too grand. I still want to see more heels, new heels, anything but the same old guys coming through.

WWE Raw Review 7/21/2008 The Bash Aftermath
Raw starts off with Batista coming down to the ring for an in ring segment.
In Ring Segment 1:
Batista says that since no one is there to be in charge, and that he’s only going to do one thing and that’s to make a match where he wrestles C.M. Punk for the WWE Championship tonight on Raw! He also notes that Kane is not going to wreck things this time.
Jbl interrupts.
He says that no one is in charge, and he doesn’t care what happened at the Bash. JBL says that he defeated Cena last night and that he is going to have the next title shot, not Batista.
Batista laughs him off, and asks JBL to come down to ringside.
JBL says, it’s not funny, and that he doesn’t answer to Batista. He says that he’s in charge, and no matter what, He’s going to be getting the world title back from Punk at Summerslam. He stumbles through his lines, to make it sound like he’s on live.
JBL says that Batista better find Kane to get a title shot.
CM Punk Interupts
CM Punk says that since they are in the jungle, he’s king and that he doesn’t have to listen to JBL at all. He then talks about how Kane, and says that he will put the title on the line tonight!
Batista says they are on tonight!
In Ring Segment 2:
Lance Cade comes out and calls out Shawn Michaels. He says that if Michaels comes out, he is going to have words with him. HBK doesn’t show up.
Lance Cade defeated Paul London
Paul London wins a rather easy match up. I thought London might have a chance, as he had a few hits in early on, but he ended up just getting squashed in the match up. I also noted that London had sneakers on, not wrestling boots. London is fast, and he was a highlight of this match, but I don’t know if the WWE has any major plans for him. I would expect London to be on the fast track to getting his release. I’m sure the WWE will wish him the best on his future endeavors.
He will probably end up in TNA and land in the X-Division, with a new name and gimmick. Lance Cade takes out London with little problem. He won with a combination powerbomb and rock bottom. It wasn’t that impressive, and the crowd was dead.
In Ring Segment 3:
Cade gets on the mic and calls out HBK again. When he doesn’t show up, he calls out Y2J with an introduce of: “The Man Who Ended Shawn Michaels Career” (I thought that was Stone Cold’s line in 1998?) Y2J comes down the aisle and into the ring.
Y2J shows a clip from The Great American Bash and says that everything that happened that happened was the fans fault. He claims that HBK only wrestled hurt because the fans inspired him, and that the fans are all to blame. Y2J says he doesn’t have to please the fans, and that he doesn’t have to try very hard. He said the fans were never behind him when he returned to the WWE, and that they all booed him and that he is not the old Y2J. He claims that the fans never grew up, and that HBK never grew up either. Y2J claims he’s proud of what happened to Shawn Michaels last night, and that now that he has beaten Michaels, he’s now saved.

Beth “The Glamazon” Pheonix defeated Kelly Kelly
Kelly Kelly comes out pointing her fingers at the crowd like she was Trish Stratus or Mickie James. This was a hilarious match to me, because there was no way Kelly Kelly could have won this match, in my mind.
Kelly tries to put on some good moves, with some quick forearms and then focusing on the legs of Phoenix. The Glamazon was too much though, and she basically manhandled Kelly through this ridiculous example of a women’s wrestling match. Beth Phoenix tries to isolate Kelly’s arm, with rest holds and when Kelly gets out of it, struggles to finish her off. Kelly is really trying to improve, and her move set is improving, however, some of the spots are a little too exaggerated for my tastes. Kelly really puts on a show in this one, but she’s no match for Phoenix’s strength. Beth drops her on her face in an impressive ending.
I admit it, Kelly did do a great job trying to get to the Glamazon, and I was impressed with how this match up went. It wasn’t just a squash, and although it was somewhat short, it was quite impressive. Maybe they can keep this style of wrestling up, and the women’s division on Raw will be more than just a joke for wrestling fans.
In Ring Segment 4:
Jim Duggan is in the ring and he talks about putting up his boot and just retiring. He says thank you to the crowd and is ready to go home. Jerry “The King” Lawler interrupts him. He says that there is no age limit in the WWE. (I think there is, but that’s just me) He says that Duggan has the charisma to get crowds across the world to yell U.S.A something that Obama and Mccain wish they could do. He then thanks Lawler for the pep talk.
Ted Dibiase and Cody Rhodes interrupt.
The young champions come out to ring side. Dibiase on the mic and makes fun of Lawler’s personal life and says that Duggan and Lawler should hang up the boots immediately.
Cody Rhodes then states that Lawler slapped Andy Kaufman before he was born!
Lawler then slaps the taste out of Rhode’s mouth!
Ted Dibiase says that they have a match and that they should clear the ring. They said they aren’t finished just yet, but they have a match.
JBL comes to ringside.
John Cena and Cryme Tyme defeated JBL, Cody Rhodes, and Ted Dibiase
We saw this match last week, and it was just the same exact match. Maybe this match occurred at house shows too, because the two teams seemed a lot more comfortable with each other in the ring. The heels really isolated Cryme Tyme punishing JTG for a good portion of the match.
Cena gets a hot tag and cleans house, and the crowd goes wild, despite my objections. Cena picks up both the tag champions, and gives a double F-U to both of them! This was really cool in my book, Cena showed one of the most impressive finishers on the tag champions that I’ve seen in recent memory. Wow! Picked up both Tag Champs and dropped them with an FU! John Cena might not be my favorite, but the close of this match was definitely the best thing I’ve seen in a LONG time.
It should also be noted that JBL ran off like a coward through the crowd and left the tag champions to fend for themselves.
Backstage Segment 1:
Cade and Y2J run into Kane, in the back. Kane stares them down, and walks by.
Editor’s note** WWE shows clips from their benefit for Autism. I just want to say that it’s really cool that they teamed up to fight Autism. Those kids are so rad (meaning kids with Autism) and it’s unfortunate that there is no cure for it. It’s nice that the WWE gives back to such great causes.
Paul Burchill & Katie Lea defeated Mickie James and Kofi Kingston
This match was set up last week and it was no surprise that this was booked for tonight. Mickie James started the match with what appeared to be some stiff shots to Lea, and I wasn’t sure if that was part of the whole thing or not. Mickie James even hit Paul with a stiff shot, and backed down long enough for Kingston to get in a cross body off the top rope with some serious hang time. This guy has some big hops! Reminds me of K Qwik.
The match took some obvious turns with Paul working over Kingston’s leg, to ground the high flyer. The match was really down hill from the time that Kofi Kingston came in, as Paul finished off the Intercontinental Champion with what seemed to be relative ease. This was definitely a different match then the one we saw last week where Paul defeated Kofi. This will probably set up an IC Title match for later on.
This match was hilarious to me. It made no sense to bury Kingston after last week’s win, and it made even less sense to have Mickie James and Katie Lea just standby while the two guys furthered their storyline. But I guess that’s just how the WWE goes these days. The match ended with Burchill’s neck breaker, and the one two three.
Backstage Segment 2:
Batista looks Kane and then runs into Jamie Noble. Noble mouths off to Batista and Noble gets choked into a box and Batista tells him to keep a look out for Kane. Noble embarrassed again in front of the ladies.
Ouch.
Backstage Segment 3:
CM Punk is interviewed and he says that he would rather be an ex-champion that has self respect then a champion that barely hangs onto the title on technicalities.
JBL interrupts.
JBL says that at Summerslam, he fully intends on becoming the World Heavyweight champion. He says that Punk will always be a transitional champion.
Punk says that JBL has lost to him a few weeks back, and then walks away.
In Ring Segment 5:
Santino comes out and talks about how he only wanted to challenge men, not women. He then reissues the challenge!
Out Comes D-LO BROWN!
D-Lo Brown defeated Santino
D-Lo brown came out and he hasn’t lost a step. He’s still in great shape and dare I say, he’s more physical and rougher. He really took it to Santino and worked a little stiffer than usual. D-Lo dropped the lowdown on Santino, and wow, Santino looked like he was in genuine pain. D-Lo really hit Santino hard and The Lowdown was incredible! This was a squash match, but it was awesome. Welcome back D-Lo!
Post Match Segment:
Beth Phoenix comes out and attacks Santino. Santino then grabs Beth and says no more punching, they then exchange reversals, and eventually….they kiss each other! They look confused, but the sexual tension is insane. Looks like we have a new “power” couple in the WWE. More on this development, I’m sure, later.

In Ring Segment 6:
Kane interrupts the beginning of the World Title Match. The match didn’t even fully get underway, and Kane tore up Batista, who looked visibly shaken. Batista then tells Punk to get out of his face, and we get a commercial! WTF?
*John Cena and Vince McMahon have a Gillette commercial? Once again, I have to hit the WTF button on this one. Cena doesn’t even look like he can grow facial hair, and I’ve never seen McMahon with even a five o’clock shadow. Plus, wasn’t McMahon hurt? I guess the filmed this before the “accident” that occurred.
World Heavyweight Champions Match: CM Punk defeated Batista via Disqualification
CM Punk and Batista had an interesting match, and I don’t think that it’s fair that even the commentators are calling CM Punk a transitional champion. That just makes it seem that even they don’t think Punk is legitimate. They should be defending Punk, not questioning his title reign.
This match was slow and featured a lot of rest holds. Most likely due to last nights performance, and the guys being a little tired. I mean, Batista is getting old, and he doesn’t want to stay too much longer in the wwe. At least that’s what he said when this website called him a Wuss.
The match was kind of boring for a Title match, and Punk really did take control and took his time to wear down Batista. But it seemed like he was out matched by Batista at times. Batista really turned on the afterburners at the end of the match and had him close to victory; but then….

JBL runs in and causes the DQ finish. JBL takes care of Punk, then the clothesline from Hell on Batista. John Cena runs down for the save, and accidentally hits Batista with a stray right hand, and the two start brawling. A billion referees come down and we see the end of this match up.
WWE Raw 7/21/2008 Quick Results:
Lance Cade def. Paul London
Beth Phoenix def. Kelly Kelly
John Cena & Cryme Tyme def. JBL & World Tag Team Champions Cody Rhodes & Ted DiBiase
Paul & Katie Lea Burchill def. Intercontinental Champion Kofi Kingston & WWE Women’s Champion Mickie James
D-Lo Brown def. Santino Marella
World Heavyweight Champion CM Punk vs. Batista (no-contest)
This week’s Raw went into some uncharted waters for me. I didn’t expect some of the twists that they are putting in. I don’t want to see a four way title match at Summerslam, but I think they are pushing for multiple contenders. The whole melee at the end really is helping turn Batista; unless they are turning Cena. I vote for a Cena turn, but I doubt they are going to go that way.
Santino and Beth Phoenix? I don’t know about all that, but man…I’d like to wrestle her one day…although it’ll never happen.
Cade is being used on tv? Y2J done with HBK? I think there is more to this feud still waiting to happen, and I know we’re going to see a cage match or something where Y2J is going to get severely injured. There’s no way HBK is going to let Y2J be on top forever.
The Divas put on a good show for once, and I’m surprised that they did it that way. I don’t like the mixed tag team stuff, but Kelly Kelly showed some major improvement. I wish they didn’t dress her up like Torrie Wilson or steal Trish Stratus’s mannerisms, but other than that, she put on a good show against the Glamazon.
CM Punk keeps getting called a transitional champion, and I hate that. I also hate that the commentators are pushing the same notion.
What I still believe to be true is that CM Punk is defending the title on Raw, he’s wrestling singles matches on Raw, and he’s wrestling way more than usual. More than any other champion we’ve seen in recent history. I don’t see Triple H wrestling all the time for the belt or wrestling hard singles matches. Oh, and if you think wrestling Chavo on Smackdown is the same as wrestling Batista on Raw, you’re sadly mistaken.
Kane? What’s wrong with Kane? I don’t know, and honestly? I don’t care. Fire that guy already. Fire him, or make him important and not so vocal. Put the mask back on and have him be a real monster, not what he is now.
Overall an ok Raw, and a good way to start off the week in wrestling. I liked it for what it was, and am looking forward to seeing what else is going on in the world of wrestling.

A Raw For Jobbers
Last nights Raw had more stupid moments than most recent broadcasts.
They offered a lot of crap with no substance....lets look back at some of the worst of last night.

WOW! That is the world's worst move ever! The legends of wrestling are really easy to defeat with moves like this. WOW! A boot...well more like the other side of the boot seems to paralyze opponents. This is the worst.
How does beating an aging old timer make Orton look stronger?
Have Orton win a heated battle with Kennedy or Umaga or anyone else, then prove his strength, not get Slaughter to JOB again! This makes him look stupid.

See that? That is exactly why Booker DID NOT WANT to go to RAW. He's now wrestling an old time has been in Lawler. Sure Lawler was great, but he's a commentator, NOT a relevant wrestler at this point. Booker loses major credibility here and proves that Raw didn't need BOOKER and his King gimmick. I feel bad for the guy, he's trapped in the lower mid-card hell area with this bout of old time losses.

I am not even going to say that obvious. Apparently there are no other number one contenders to the Intercontinental championship.

The tag team division melted long ago and they just threw more trash on top of it. Two jobbers on raw? What happened to competition amongst tag teams....oh right...they aren't seen as important any longer. Why must I see this crap? Is it Saturday morning and 1990? Is Superstars on? Is this the main event? Why? Why WWE?

What's this? A Carlito Win? This makes no sense from a writing stand point. What now? Will Carlito get a title shot? Only to lose? Or will Orton interfere, costing Carlito the victory and propelling him into a feud or dare I say...Triangle Match! The winner of Orton vs. Carlito will face Cena later in the night! Nope. We'll probably see this one end fast and early since Carlito is hated by the WWE. What happened to him last week? How is he in the main event now?
Bad stuff huh?
What about the good you say?
Here are the best parts of last nights raw:

Kennedy vs. Lashley...good stuff.

Cody's got some major game. His 1st win was impressive, too bad Daivari isn't really relevant anymore.
