ECW Guilty As Charged 1999 Results and Review: A Better VHS Experience

January 10, 1999 ECW held a PPV from Florida. This had an attendance of 2,600 people, but when you saw it on camera, it looked packed, as it was definitely sold out. 1999 was a great year for the company, or so I can only assume. Whatever the case may have been, I didn’t get the PPV until January 11, 1999. I got the replay and it was only $19.99 from what I remember. My stepfather said I could order it, so I did. I recall recording it onto a VHS tape, and it ended up taping over an old porno I had recorded from the Spice Network. Oh well. I have gone back to watch this on the WWE Network, and I can reassure you that this is NOT the same as the RF Video, the official DVD and the VHS that is floating around. It is completely censored, and edited, and you can see it throughout. The music has been changed, the crowd noises aren’t the same, there’s a lot of lost audio, and it’s just not great. However, the matches are there, so that’s what we will talk about here, as we are GUILTY AS CHARGED!

ECW Guilty As Charged 1999 Results

Axl Rotten and Balls Mahoney defeated The FBI, and Danny Doring and Amish Roadkill

This opening match turned into a hardcore three-way dance, and it wasn’t great. It had some good spots and the crowd was way into it. However, from a wrestling standpoint, it was not that great. I was impressed with how good Amish Roadkill was, as he was a bigger guy that could fly around the ring. The rest were just bit players, with Rotten and Mahoney getting the big win with chairs. It’s a fun opening match, but nothing great here.

Match Rating: 2 out of 5

Tajiri defeated Super Crazy

Now this is a cruiserweight match! Super Crazy and Tajiri went back and forth. They knew how to counter things, they were flying around the ring, and they were doing things that you would not see in the heavyweight division. These guys really put on a show in under 12 minutes, and it’s sad to see the current WWE division flounder when this had the crowd going insane. Great match with Tajiri picking up the win.

Match Rating: 4 out of 5

Sid Vicious defeated John Kronus

John Kronus was in ring waiting for his opponent, and out came Sid! Sid got such a huge pop, it was absolutely insane. He went into the ring and threw Kronus through a table on the outside, then brought him back in for a powerbomb and the pin. Sid Vicious would go on to WCW in 1999, but before that, this was a great squash that introduced Sid to the ECW brand for a cup of coffee.

Match Rating: 2 out of 5

The Dudley Boyz defeated New Jack and Spike Dudley

The Dudleys came out and had an open challenge for anyone that was willing to come out. Well, the answer to their challenge was none other than Spike Dudley and New Jack! They came out with plunder and beat the crap out of the Dudley Boyz, but eventually they lost the match when the numbers game was just too much for them.

Match Rating: 3 out of 5

Rob Van Dam defated Lance Storm

I was never a big Lance Storm fan, and this didn’t do him any favors. It was ok. The match had some moments, but it was clear that the two didn’t mesh that well overall. I’ve seen way better from the two of these guys. They did put on a good match, though, nothing great, but good enough for a 20 minute TV Title match. This was seriously edited, so I hated the WWE version.

Match Rating: 2 out of 5

Justin Credible defeated Tommy Dreamer in a Stairway To Hell Match

Wow, Justin Credible should’ve received a better shake in WWE. Him and dreamer put on a 4 star classic that is absolutely great. You’re going to find this hard hitting match to be an instant classic. Credible took a beating, but in the end Tommy Dreamer was the one that got the big beat down. He was beaten to a pulp and right when he was about to get the upper hand, out came Terry Funk with a trash can to beat the holy hell out of Dreamer. Credible would get the victory here, and Tommy would once again be on the receiving end of a beat down.

Match Rating: 4 out of 5

Taz defeated Shane Douglas for the ECW World Title

The culmination of months of feuding came down to the these two getting a one on one brawl. This went all over the building. The two fought back and forth through the crowd, and onto the ramps placed throughout the arena. It all went down in under 25 minutes with Taz eventually getting the big win. Note that Shane Douglas had a cast on his arm, and looked a little heavy. Taz was in his prime here and the big win finally cemented him as a huge player in ECW and the world. I loved it.

Match Rating 4 out of 5

Overall ECW Guilty as Charged was a great show, but with the Network, you are getting an edited, neutered version of the event. It is still worth a watch, especially for the cruiserweight match, and the final two matches which were just brutal. ECW was absolutely great in 199i if you ask me. I’ll have more reviews as I go along watching more of these events from the past.

WWE Extreme Rules 2014 Results and Review

WWE Extreme Rules 2014 Results

Torito defeated Hornswoggle

Paige defeated Tamina Snuka

Quality match, Paige is far better than any other diva, and Tamina is a good overall foe. I liked the match and find Paige sexy.

Bray Wyatt defeated John Cena

Lackluster cage match, nothing really worth mentioning. Yes, there was a creepy kid, but who cares...the match sucked.

The Shield defeated Evolution

High quality match with Seth Rollins going "new jack" on Evolution diving off the balcony. Loved that. Batista losing and getting beaten was good. Overall high quality match, hopefully that's the end of Evolution for a long time.

Bad News Barrett defeated Big E

Bad News is the new champ, this was a boring match.

Cesaro defeated RVD and Jack Swagger

Ok matchup, decent pace, RVD is way over, but lost in the shuffle here.

Alexander Ruseve defeated R Truth and Xavier Woods

Boring match, lame gimmick, hot Russian blonde though.
Daniel Bryan defeated Kane

The worst match on PPV I've seen in a long time. WWE has followed up Wrestlemania with the worst match I've seen. Not since Mankind vs The Rock has a match been so blatantly boring and stupid. I'm referring to the match during Superbowl halftime years ago. Daniel Bryan picks up the win, but Kane was stupid throughout. The table fire spot was poorly executed, and no one cares for this match, but whatever.

Overall, this is the worst ppv of 2014 thus far. WWE really knows how to bore people that's for sure.

WWE Payback 2013 Thoughts and Review

copyright WWE.com
WWE Payback 2013 hit the Chicago area last night and while I don’t often venture forward to watch any pay per views, this time around I was intrigued by some of the card. I don’t remember everything that happened, but you might remember a few things more than I did, which is fine. The following things I wanted to comment on, even though more things happened. You can get full images, video and beyond by visiting the official wwe website, otherwise join me in ranting on a few things I noticed about the show.

WWE Payback Results

Sheamus defeated Damien Sandow
Curtis Axel defeated Wade Barrett and the Miz for the Intercontinental Title
Aj Lee defeated Kaitlyn for the divas championship
Alberto Del Rio defeated Dolph Ziggler for the World Heavyweight Championship
Cm Punk defeated Chris Jericho
The Shield defeated Randy Orton and Daniel Bryan
John Cena defeated Ryback in 3 Stages of Hell

I didn’t see the Sheamus match, so I can’t say much about that. I do however want to say that the show should have included that match up during the main ppv, instead of some of the filler that was on the line up.

Curtis Axel aka Mr. Perfect Lite

The triple threat match was actually really well done, and I absolutely loved the ending. Axel getting the pin on Barrett and capturing the IC title would have made his father proud. The only thing that I can’t get over is the fact that Axel has the personality and charisma of a wet paper bag. He needs to really work on that or else I will inevitably hate him. I loved the perfectplex pin which would’ve blown the roof off the arena, but oh well, new IC champion.

The divas did ok. That is all.

Alberto Del Rio bad guy?

I guess Del Rio is a heel again? I don’t know, he kept kicking Ziggler in the head and the whole storyline was about concussions, and didn’t bode well for me. I didn’t like the match and do not support the lame attempt at making Del Rio hated, he doesn’t need that, he can just cheat, like natural heels do.

Cm Punk returns to mediocrity.

The building was definitely loud for the big return, but Jericho is right, he is not the best in the world. Sure he beat Jericho clean and the two threw out a really good match, but was it the best? An instant classic? No! The crowd made the match though and Punk’s new shirt is awesome. Punk is definitely one of the more important aspects of wrestling right now, and I’m glad he’s back.

Super Cena wins again.

I had a shred of doubt as to the winner, but nope, Superman aka John Cena wins again. I am ultimately sick of Cena destroying ALL the heels. He can’t lose can he? I hate the guy, you hate the guy, he needs to turn heel now!

There you have it, all my thoughts on Payback 2013. If you want to support this blog and help me get cable to watch more shows away from my computer, than please support by buying stuff via amazon online. Thanks!

TNA Against All Odds 2011 Results and Review

TNA Against All Odds PPV

The crowd seemed hot for this one, and it was nice to hear. I wish the announcers talked about it. THe opening match had me pumping my fist, that's for sure...because Robbie E and Cookie can really create some heat. I am a fan of Robbie E, even if I'm the only one.

Robbie E faced off one on one with Kaz, and the match was really fast paced, with lots of fast moments. Cookie got involved and I was marking out for the old school ending, but when Kaz kicked out of a roll up after getting hit in the face with a boot I saw this match slipping away from the New Jersey bad boy. Kaz would eventually get the win, after the Fade to Black Reverse Tombstone, and the crowd went wild. NOt a terrible match, but it left a lot to be desired from me. These guys can put up a better match, even if all we got was this one. Robbie E should have the title, if I do say so myself.

Kaz defeated Robbie E in the X Division Title Match

Immortal came out with the body guards (Gunner and Murphy, and Rob Terry) came out for a match, and I already hated it. ROb Terry is so huge, that he should've kept that feud with Orlando Jordan. They were building it up to be quite good. Beer Money would get a shot at them, and they are just wasted here. Big Poppa Pump came out to join them, and he's the only big name in this match up. I think I might mark out huge for an Undertaker vs Steiner match, just for the meeting. This match wasn't a complete waste, but it was apparent that Robert Roode and his partner were carrying the work load. Steiner was way over with the in ring crowd, which was nice. Steiner delivered a top rope Frankensteiner!!!!!!! I kid you not, TOP ROPE FRANKENSTEINER! Scott Steiner hit one hell of a move and I marked out huge, alongside the rest of the crowd, wow! A HUGE FRANKENSTEINER saves the day!

Beer Money & Scott Steiner defeated Gunner, Murphy & Rob Terry

Samoa Joe and The Pope put on a good enough match. I'm always surprised at how Samoa Joe can move in ring. He can really go, despite how fat I perceive him being. He started this match fast and the crowd was all about it. Joe has some great finesse in ring, He seems to float through some of his moves, and it's really good. The Pope, on the other hand, seemed a bit lost at several moments during this match up. The Pope took the turnbuckle pad off, and this match seemed to lose momentum when Joe was almost thrown into it. The Pope reversed a nice roll up into the Kakina Clutch and I was amazed! What a finisher.

Samoa Joe defeated The Pope

Post match, the Pope seemed impressed, but not hurt. Joe won the physical battle, but Pope is winning the psychological warfare.

Up Next, was the Knockouts match, and wow, what a waste. Mickie James botched several moves, and this thing was going terrible. The match was boring, and things were saved by Tara, she ran down and helped the flow of this match. Mickie James and Madison really made for a good overall second half the match, and I loved it, only because Madison took out a pair of Brass Knuckles and KNOCKED OUT Mickie James while the ref was distracted and won this knockouts match! The brass knucks get the mark out moment in this match up. I guess I'll pass it because I marked out huge, oh and I guess I called the match right huh?

Madison Rayne defeated Mickie James in a last woman standing match

Super Mex and Matt Morgan had a confrontation, and I hated it.

Matt Hardy cut a promo, it sucked. He is really trying to be Raven. It was weird.

Matt Hardy wasn't really good here, but he is losing weight gradually. He wasn't as bloated as I've seen him in previous years, and he put on an ok match. RVD did NOT put on a great match, and I think it's the caliber of opponent here. There were some nice spots to follow, including a unique submission move that I haven't seen in years. RVD would lose this one after a botched attempt by hardy to hit a Moonsault. The crowd was losing steam here, and that's when RVd would get the win with the Five Star Frog Splash.

RVD defeated Matt Hardy

This match wasn't really that good. Bully ray and Devon fought each other brawling all the way. The match really got interesting towards the end, with Bully Ray putting Devon in handcuffs to the ring post. His sons ran in and they got beat down. Yes, Devon's kids got beat up, one went through a table too, it was sad. I couldn't believe what I was watching. Bully Ray pinned one of Devon's sons...this was sad.

Bully ray defeated Devon

Kurt Angle and Jeff Jarrett put on a good match, although nothing comparible to many others. Karen Jarrett kept getting involved and would cost Angle. Kurt really did manage to put on a few good shots on Double J including suplex after suplex. Jarrett looked frustrated in this match at several points, including when Angle kicked out of the Stroke. The momentum shifted when the ref took a bump and Angle went to the outside to brawl with Double J. Jarrett introduced a chair and Angle couldn't use it, and this match got some steam again, and I was actually cheering for Kurt Angle! I wish Angle could get a shot at Taker, on a sidenote. Karen distracted Angle in the corner and after The Stroke was hit from the middle rope, this match seemed over, but nope! Kurt made Jarrett tap out at one point, but the ref was distracted! Jarrett was able to turn things around, and got Angle in a sick roll up! JARRETT WINS! JARRETT WINS!

Jeff Jarrett defeated Kurt Angle

Post match it just seemed sad as Angle genuinely looked sad, and he started crying and left his boots in the ring...signaling retirement.

There hasn't been a main event that has been so lame sounding, than this one. I tried to avoid spoilers, but I knew what would happen, and I was saddened to see this is the main event.

One of the worst Ladder matches I've ever seen happened here. There were some nice brawling points, but there was no drama, no real enthusiasm here, and Jeff hardy got the win, surprise surprise. What a lousy ending, I can't vouch for this, this sucked.

TNA Impact 2/10/11 Results and Review

Ah yes, I finally get to sit down and watch TNA. I know that this is going to be a train wreck, as I heard "They" was just Forchan or whatever they call it, and I can already hear crickets going off for the story lines that the TNA creative team is pushing, but maybe, just maybe they can do something better....we'll see.

TNA Impact 2/10/11 Results

Immortal came out and it looks like a bunch of jobbers instead of the main event status that you'd hope for. THe members are seriously bad, including Double J, Karen Angle, the security guards, the hardy's and more. It's sad.

Fortune came out while Bischoff was cutting a promo and they have new shirts. They stood face to face with Immortal, and they squared off verbally. After some words were exchanged, they fought each other and out came Crimson, Kurt Angle and Scott Steiner hit the ring and cleared everyone out. That was that.

Bischoff was backstage trying to recruit Super Mex to join Immortal.

This was supposed to be a tables match or something, but it started off as a complete brawl. Joe and Pope ran off, the Dudley's were fighting on the outside. Matt Hardy for once didn't look bloated and fat, but maybe it was just the file I was watching. Rvd and Hardy fought each other and it looked like Hardy was drugged because he was taking some odd looking bumps while RVD was trying to compensate for his opponents obvious impairment. BUlly Ray got in the face of Devon's kids and the kids jumped the rail and held Bubba's legs while Devon shoved him through a table and that was that. This match was over. A lousy match with a cool spot ending, I guess I can't complain that much, it had some good moments, specifically Devon's kids jumping the guard rail and helping Bubba fall through a table.

Rvd, Devon & Samoa Joe defeated Bully Ray, The Pope, and Matt Hardy

Karen Angle isn't THAT ugly, I don't know what the internet is saying.

Jarrett said that if Angle wins the match on sunday, Angle will get custody of the kids?! Oh man...this is just bad. Jarrett stated that if he wins Angle will renew her vows with Double J live and Angle has to walk down the aisle and give away Karen Angle in marriage to Jarrett. This is stupid, that's what I would be chanting. Nothing really happened with the contract signing, no one got beat up, it was just a waste of time.

This was an 8 knockouts tag match, but no one said anything they just kept announcing women. Rosita was introduced as a new knockout and she's really small. She's a lot smaller than the other divas and isn't quite as good. That didn't matter, the rest of the knockouts fought each other and this match was a cluster of a battle. Rosita got the pinfall victory, and that was that...a strange kind of match.

Sarita & Rosita and Tara & Madison Rayne defeated Angelina Love & Winter and Mickie James

Madison Rayne and Mickie James will battle this weekend in a Last Knockout's Standing match. There was a promo, but it was lousy.

I'm not sure why they would have a title match the Thursday before a ppv and then have Jeff Hardy cut a promo like he's the champion! What the heck!?!

Ken Anderson and Matt Morgan put on a very safe looking match. This match wasn't at all anything I'd expect. It was safe until the ref bump and that's when Hernandez hit the ring and beat up Matt Morgan. Morgan would get thrown into the ring and Anderson would pick up the scraps and get the win. The match for the most part was boring, and tired. Anderson is NOT a charismatic champion, the title belt looks like a divas belt, and on a ladder outside the ring was Jeff Hardy just watching.

Ken Anderson defeated Matt Morgan

Hernandez then beat up Anderson, and that was that.

The x-division triple threat was the highlight of the night. Robbie E, Suicide and Brian Kendrick had an interesting match with lots of high spots, lots of reversals, and just a battle in a fast match. This match seemed as though I was watching in fast forward because things just kept going forward and the match seemed like it was going to get Suicide over, but instead it was Robbie E and Kendrick that impressed me most. After some distraction from Cookie, Robbie E would get the win.

Robbie E defeated Suicide and Brian Kendrick in a triple threat match

The line up for Against All Odds was run down, and it was not impressive. I feel sorry for anyone that is going to pay money to see it, because it's a terrible card.

The main event wasn't even about the WORLD TITLE! THis is the same problem I have with WWE sometimes. They make their titles seem unimportant.

Jeff Jarrett teamed up with Jeff Hardy to face off against Kurt Angle and Aj Styles, and something was awry up front. Aj Styles had the same tights he's always had, which doesn't seem to change anything since he just turned face, right? He should update his look a little. Angle started the match after a tag in, and Jarrett ran away. Hardy and Angle locking up was interesting to see, and it was very obvious that ANgle still has some amazing wrestling skill, despite being in the worst wrestling company going today. This match took a lot of rest holds, and through a lot of commercials, you had to watch some of the worst wrestling. Sure Angle can go, but Hardy was just sloppy and throwing some terrible offense at the olympic gold medalist. The match sped up towards the end and Angle and Styles took it to the bad guys here, and Aj Styles would eventually get the pinfall, thanks in part to a distraction by Karen Angle. Aj hit a nice splash and pinned Jarrett.

Aj Styles & Kurt Angle defeated Jeff Jarrett and Jeff Hardy

Post match Jarrett hit the stroke on Angle and Styles. Hardy then came in and hit the Twist of Hate. Fortune hit the ring, IMmortal hit the ring, and everyone just started fighting.

This night in wrestling was some of the worst I've seen in a while. The matches seemed clustered together, and performed with lazy attitudes. The story line is so convoluted, and I really don't care about the title picture. There's no tag team titles? The x-Division title isn't going to be defended? What happened to the tv title? See, there's a lot of terrible points for TNA and it doesn't need to be this way.

Oh well. Lots of random crap to end today's wrestling posts...I'm going to sleep now.

TNA Impact 1/20/11 Results and Review

TNA Impact started with one of the best highlight videos they've ever created. The saga of Jeff Jarrett and Kurt Angle is a wonderful video full of great pro-wrestling writing, and if TNA could somehow make it pay off, that'd be great. However, I highly doubt they can, as they do not have a good track record of doing so.

The show opened up with Kurt Angle talking to some fat dude telling some random dude to play his music....oh man, terrible. We start the show with Kurt Angle coming to the ring....they better figure something out or else I'm going to sleep.

Eric Bischoffs music hit and out came a lot of police officers and they calmly escorted Kurt Angle out of the arena. Yep, what appeared to be real police, got Angle arrested.

QUite possibly the worst thing in women's professional wrestling is the TNA Knockouts division. It's seriouslly the worst thing I've ever seen. This match was terrible, Mickie James won with a roll up on Madison Rayne, and that was it. This match, I can not say enough about, in terms of how bad it was. Very little wrestling, very little to talk about, I can't believe this is part of the show, especially since in years past I've seen the women of TNA make some great matches last a long time, and great feuds make me think that there was hope in pro-wrestling.

Mickie James defeated Madison Rayne, Sarita, and some other chick, I forget.

Matt Morgan and Rob Terry squared off next and it was a short match with Rob Terry getting completely buried. Terry was once part of a good feud with Orlando Jordan, that was cut short and then never revisited. Morgan was just in the title match, and now? He's getting the win over Terry with relative ease. The Carbon Footprint hit Terry square in the head and this match was over. One of the worst matches I've seen on Impact in a long time.

Matt Morgan defeated Rob Terry

After them match the worst wrestlers in the world Abyss tried to beat up Morgan only to get dropped with a discus clothesline. Terry got up and he was hit with a sidewalk slam. I don't care, you don't care, Matt Morgan still sucks.

The X-Division title match was ok at best. I know that these two can put together a good overall match, but given the short time, this match wasn't all that great. There were some good spots, and Jay Lethal seemed to be out of sorts here. Kaz would get the win with, you guessed it, a roll up. I remember when the title meant something, now it's just a throwaway match in the middle of a boring show.

Kaz defeated Jay Lethal

Jarrett and Karen were in the ring and they prompted Kurt Angle to come to the ring, and Jarrett beat him up and that was that. I hope Angle gets some revenge...because this is getting tiring, and I guess that's the point.

Dreamer still has a job? Tommy Dreamer was looking tired, and hurt. Jeff Hardy easily steam rolled through Tommy and that was that. He hit his moves, and pinned the former ECW champion.

Jeff Hardy defeated Tommy Dreamer

Beer Money had an interesting match with RVD & Ken Anderson, and it wasn't terrible. It wasn't an amazing match, but it had some nice pacing, and given a good amount of time. The match really got interesting when Jeff Hardy tried to interfere, prompting Matt Hardy to run in and hit the Twist of Hate and join Immortal. Matt Hardy is fat. The match was over fast, and well, Beer Money wins again.

Beer Money defeated RVD & Ken Anderson

Bully Ray beat up Devon, and that was that.

Kurt Angle came to the ring and was beat up by Immortal. The end of the show was Kurt Angle getting completely killed, that was that. I don't know what's going on, but this is so stupid.

Abyss came out and he had Janice stuck to his back.

Out of the dust came out none other than, Grimson or something? He said "THEY'RE Coming" and that was that. What a terrible night of wrestling, what a terrible story line. They're coming? Again? Lame.

TNA Impact 1/13/10 Results and Review

TNA Impact 1/13/10 Results

Beer Money defeated The Motor City Machine Guns
Angelina Love & Matt Morgan defeated Abyss
Winter defeated Madison Rayne & Tara
Matt Morgan defeated Abyss
The Hardy Boys defeated Anderson & RVD

TNA Impact 1/13/10 Review

The show started with Anderson giving his championship speech, as is usual for wrestling.

Out came Matt Morgan and he wanted a title shot, he was mad Anderson...whatever.

Eric Bischoff came out as usual, and well....cut a promo and said that Hardy would get a title shot in February.

Beer Money defeated The Motor City Machine Guns

This match had some great tandem action. These two teams know each other very well and they put on a good enough show. The problem here was the time, they were rushing things, and it was painfully obvious that they were just going spot to spot to contain the time frame. The match would eventually go downhill for me in the end, with all the near falls. Shelley super kicked Sabin and Beer Money hit the DWI and that was the end of this match. I liked it, don't get me wrong, but it just seems so obvious what TNA is doing here.

The Motor City Machine guns are breaking up....yep. They already started it. Looks like TNA once again copies WWE.

The Pope cut a promo. Samoa Joe came out...looking fat, and they cut promos or whatever.

The backstage segments were really dumb, dumber than usual.

Jarrett came out and talked trash on Angle. Kurt Angle ran down and eliminated the security people...and was ready to beat up Jarrett. However, out came Karen Jarrett (Formerly Karen Angle)...so stupid.

Angelina Love & Winter defeated Madison Rayne & Tara

This was stupid. THese four women can not work together, they are terrible examples of wrestlers. I'm so tired of seeing this....ugh...I can't stand terrible wrestling..TNA sucks.

Matt Morgan defeated Abyss

This was one of the worst matches I've seen in a long time. The ending was just stupid, beyond stupid. Morgan beat Abyss then was beaten down by Rob Terry before Flair got a Super Chokeslam. I guess Matt Morgan and Rob Terry will feud? I don't know. I hate Abyss, this sucks.

Sorry that my review sounds like 2 year old, I'm just so sick of this bs.

The Hardy Boys defeated Anderson & RVD

This was a terrible match. All three men looked very winded mid-way through the match. Matt Hardy looked really really fat. After some terrible wrestling, Beer Money ran down and helped the Hardy's win their first match back as a team.

This show was just sad...just purely sad.

I am so tired of this bs, that's all I can say.

TNA Genesis 2011 Results and Review

I was fortunate enough to get this ppv, and well, I'm glad that I finally got to see it. I was really expecting big things based on the results I read.

TNA Genesis 2011 Results

Kazarian defeated Jay Lethal for the X-Division Title
Madison Rayne defeated Mickie James
Beer Money defeated The Motor City Machine Guns for the TNA Tag Team Titles
Bubba Ray defeated Devon by disqualification
Matt Hardy defeated RVD
Jeff Jarrett vs Kurt Angle

TNA Genesis 2011 Review

Kazarian defeated Jay Lethal

Despite many hours invested into Jay Lethal, he's still not that over as just himself. The crowd was dead for a good portion of this match, even when there were some moves. Kaz was more over than Lethal, which is really bad. The match was a good opener with lots of offense, and a surprising amount of high impact moves from Kaz on what appears to be a smaller lethal. Lethal wen to the top rope, and finally got the crowd behind him, but took too much time and Kaz took advantage. There was a ref bump, and Kaz hit the reverse Tombstone Piledriver and won the gold! That's right, Kaz is the new Cruiserweight Champion of the world.

Madison Rayne defeated Mickie James

There was a good amount of wrestling here, but it's painfully obvious that the division lacks skilled workers. Mickie James did manage some good overall offense, but it just wasn't as entertaining as what I was loving in the Knockout's division a few years ago, and many readers will agree. Tara ran down to help, and Madison Rayne was given a loaded glove, and she won the match with a knockout blow. Yep. I liked the finish, even if it took a while to get there.

Beer Money defeated The Motor City Machine Guns for the TNA Tag Team Titles

I've seen this match so many times, that this time around it just seemed like another match, and for the most part it was. This was just a clone of the many matches that these two teams have had in the past. There were some nice spots, but it was painfully obvious that Beer Money was going over. After some misfires the Machine Guns made a mistake in the corner, and were rolled up. I didn't like the finish of this match, but it had some nice team work and good overall wrestling. I really miss tag team wrestling of this nature in the WWE, because it's done so well. RObert Roode is ready for the WWE if you ask me, I hope he gets there someday. This match was not a five star classic, but it was a highlight for me up to this point.

Bubba Ray defeated Devon by disqualification

This match wasn't that good. Devon was far over with the crowd, and there were some good moments here, even if the majority of the match seemed taxing for both men. At one point Bubba hit a nice Cutter on Devon who was diving off the top rope, even though no one cared. There were some nice near falls, and good final moments, but like I said, getting there was very hard to manage, and didn't really have me excited at all. Devon lost after using a chain on Bubba. Yep, Dq finish.

Abyss defeated Douglas Williams

One of the worst matches ever. Ok, not that bad. Doug Williams put up a good fight against my least favorite wrestler. I hate AByss and giving him a title is so stupid. Williams had to face the monster because Aj Styles is injured, so it was nice to see, but it just seemed thrown together and boring.

Oh well.

Bischoff said that RVD will get Hardy, and it was Matt Hardy! I guess Matt is a heel too? I don't know, but Matt is in TNA!

Matt Hardy is still fat.

Matt Hardy defeated RVD

This match had some nice fast paced action, but it seemed like Matt Hardy slowed it down at some points to let RVD catch his breath. It's not a surprise that RVD can't go full speed since he's smoking weed to this day. Hardy did manage to throw in some good new offense, even if most of his offense seemed older. Hardy took some major hits to the head and body by RVD and it was interesting to see the back and forth motions in this match up. After some good overall back and forth action, Hardy won...and that was that. It's going to take a while for me to enjoy Matt Hardy in TNA.

Matt Hardy is still fat.

Jeff Jarrett vs Kurt Angle

I feel like I've seen this before, and it was stupid. Jarrett bloodied Angle and the ref through the match out. Jarrett wins and is still the monster heel...this was stupid. The Tna idiots put the camera right on Angle as he was blading...so stupid.

Ken Anderson defeated Matt Morgan

There was a lot of great pieces to this match up. I liked how Anderson kept literally throwing offense at Morgan, and like a large tree, Morgan wouldn't go down with average moves. There were some nice spots here, but nothing too crazy. It was painfully obviou that Morgan wasn't going over, and after Anderson rolled up Morgan for the quick pin, out came Eric Bischoff.

He demanded that Anderson fight Hardy for the title.

Ken Anderson defeated Jeff Hardy

This match was ok. Jeff didn't look 100%. Jeff was fighting Hardy with ease, and it appeared that he was going to cheat, but out came Mick Foley to stop it. That prompted Ric Flair to come down, but he was held at bay by security. Hardy went for the top rope, but Anderson managed to stop his progress. Anderson was going for a super plex, but missed and Hardy hit a nice swanton. Anderson kicked out, and this match continued! I wasn't marking out, because it seemed so obvious (i guess because of the spoilers). The crowd was way over with Anderson getting huge cheers. Anderson hit the rolling finisher spot, but Hardy got up fast and started fighting back. Jeff called out his brother Matt to interfere, but RVD ran down to stop that, and they brawled all the way to the back.

Eric Bischoff came into the ring with a chair, and was ready to lay out Anderson, but was attacked! The Mic Check was hit on Bischoff! Jeff was able to run back but was hit with the MIC CHECK! Anderson wins the world title!

Your new TNA world champion is MR. ANDERSON!

That was a good thing for everyone, and hopefully Anderson will be doing well as the champion. I like the ending.

TNA Impact 1/6/11 Results

Doug Williams vs Rob Terry (No Contest)
The Motor City Machine Guns defeated Aj Styles and Kaz
Sarita & Madison Rayne defeated Mickie James & Velvet Skye
Jay Lethal defeated Abyss via dq
Jeff Jarrett defeated RVD in a no dq match

TNA Impact 1/6/11 Review

The night opened up with Immortal or Fortune or whoever it is, and Bischoff talked about how they are going to do things right or something, I don't know, I didn't care.

All the champions were called out and they all started brawling. Out came RVD and he started to take everyone out.

Jarrett did his mma challenge beat up some kid, and then was run out of the ring by Kurt Angle. This thing has gone on too long, I'm so sick of this bs.

The Motor City Machine Guns defeated Aj Styles and Kaz

This match wasn't given nearly enough time, but it had a few good high spots and random moves. The Machine Guns were able to win this match up after a few good quality moves, but overall, it wasn't all that great. These four could put on a 4 star classic, but instead, they seriously just bored me.

Post match, Beer Money beat them up.

The Pope came out and cut a promo. Samoa Joe's hoodie is from Old Navy! I know cause I have one! Woo! The Pope is heel now? I guess. Joe is back...did Pope kidnap Samoa Joe? I don't know.

Sarita & Madison Rayne defeated Mickie James & Vevlet Skye

Another boring Knockouts match. I'm so sick of this bs too. Another terrible match with no major offense, nothing worth checking out, this was lame.

Doug Williams vs Rob Terry (No Contest)

THis was stupid. The match barely got under way and out came Aj Styles to beat up Doug Williams. They were trying to break Williams arm. I guess this will come to fruition at the ppv? I don't know.

Jay Lethal defeated Abyss via dq

This was going well but then Abyss got himself disqualified and this was the end. Lethal barely got offense in, and after the match Kaz came in and beat him up.

Jeff Jarrett defeated RVD in a no dq match

Another boring match. Stupid stupid match with Double J winning after he got help from Jeff Hardy.

post match out ran Matt Morgan, or as Scott Steiner calls him Mike Morgan.

This Impact sucked, I'm so sick of TNA, they are starting the new year with just as bad of wrestling ever. Ugh...So tired of this BS.

TNA Impact 12/23/10 Results and Review

TNA Impact 12/23/10 Results

Jeff Jarrett defeated Amazing Red
Kaz & Robbie E defeated Generation ME
Angelina Love & Winter defeated Tara & Madison Rayne
Aj Styles vs Douglas Williams went to a draw
Matt Morgan, The Motor City machine Guns, and RVD vs Fortune

TNA Impact 12/23/10 Review

The show started with a recap of last week's show, and I liked the recap far better than the actual show. It's funny how TNA can make something look so great in the recap but can't keep the majority of wrestling fans attention during their 2 hour showcase. I hate the title screen, by the way, in case you were wondering.

The show started with Immortal or Fortune or somebody coming to the ring. I have no idea who is in this group, it's just so dang large, it's like NWO 3,000 and I don't understand why I should care since there are no real faces in the company.

The ring was set up for a "weigh" in of sorts. Mick Foley came out to talk about Anderson and what not. They are still talking about the "concussion" thing. I had a concussion once, it sucked, but I was back in action within a few weeks. Bischoff talked at length about how Foley sucks etc.

Jeff Jarrett defeated Amazing Red

Jarrett came out again for his MMA gimmick. Amazing Red came out to challenge Jeff and lost the match after a few moments. Yep, Red taps out and that was the end of the night.

Jarrett gets good heat, I admit that. however, Jarrett doesn't have a real opponent to knock him off his pedestal. Amazing Red could be used so much better in the x-division with Jay Lethal, and yet he's jobbed out here in a stupid match with jarrett. He said that his baby brother would come fight Jarrett next week. Hopefully it's Angle.

Kaz & Robbie E defeated Generation ME

The match wasn't half bad. it had a good amount of back and forth. Generation Me and Robbie took most of the match and in the end Kaz tagged in and pinned a random dude and was the #1 contender to the x-division title.

I just want to point out that Shark Boy hasn't been involved since the ppv, so there's a wasted thing. Robbie E is pushed aside now? Lethal is out of character now, he can barely talk on the mic since he isn't doing the Macho Man gimmick. The whole match up was just odd. The x-division title used to be a highlight of TNA and now, it's just an after thought.

Sarita and Velvet Sky fought in the dressing room. It was a nice cat Fight. I'd love to fight Sarita in the back room, it'd be fun.

Angelina Love & Winter defeated Tara & Madison Rayne

This match wasn't very good at all. It had a few moments that were good, but it was mostly brawling and random moves. Winter came out towards the end and started fighting Madison Rayne. Winter won the match after Angelina took a lot of punishment, but she nearly botched a sideslam, and it just looked bad. Angelina Love & Winter are the new Knockouts Tag Team Champions, and it's a shame. I haven't seen a positive Knockouts match up since Gail Kim and Awesome Kong were in TNA.

Aj Styles vs Douglas Williams went to a draw

This match wasn't great, but it did have a lot of action. Aj Styles was completely winded towards the end. Douglas Williams seemed just fine throughout the match up. The two were supposed to fight in an Iron Man match and it wasn't half bad. At one point Aj Styles got on the mic and asked for a rematch, and Williams said no, at first. Then after Styles continued, and got a rematch for Genesis. This whole segment was boring.

If Styles loses at the ppv, he's going to get fired.

I'm telling you, this segment was relatively boring to me.

Matt Morgan, The Motor City machine Guns, and RVD vs Fortune

this match was ok at best. It was rushed and despite the rush, it had little to no great thing. Robert Roode looked good as Beer Money is a good overall team together. Other than them, the rest was just tired. The tag teams did most of the fighting.

The show ended and you had to tune into Reaction to finish watching the show. I don't get Reaction so I didn't see it. So I don't know what happened. Sorry. TNA sucks, and they continue to baffle me as to why they do this. I don't care to even investigate what happened, so your guess is as good as mine as to what happened after the match was over.

TNA once again ruins wrestling for most fans.

TNA Impact 12/16/10 Results and Review

TNA Impact 12/16/10 Results

Jay Lethal defeated Robbie E to win the X-Division Title
Erik Young & Orlando Jordan defeated Generation Me
Tara & Madison Rayne defeated Mickie James & Miss Testmaker
RVD defeated Rob Terry
Bubba Ray Dudley defeated Amazing Red
Jeff Hardy & Kaz defeated Ken Anderson & Matt Morgan

TNA Impact 12/16/10 Review

Matt Morgan and Ken Anderson had some altercation...it was stupid. Jeff Hardy came out and cut a stupid promo and he sounded like he was on drugs. He kept rambling or something, I don't know, I was just tired, and sleepy, so I went to make a sandwich. I later came back and the 3 idiots were still having their opening, and that was that.

The first match on card was none other than the X Division title match.

Jay Lethal defeated Robbie E to win the X-Division Title

Despite Robbie E being a heel, the announcers were positive on him for some weird reason. It was stupid to have the commentators high on Robbie E one minute, and then immediately goes into stupidity.

The match started and Cookie was interfering from the start, but out ran Christy Hemme and handcuffed herself to Cookie! Yep! So now the match would just be the two wrestlers and not the manager and the wrestler, which is a great thing. Lethal's combinations and elbow drop from the top rope was great, even if RObbie kicked out. Robbie took to the top rope at one point and was caught by Lethal and he hit a very very nice superplex. This match was actually starting to gain steam and for once in recent times, I loved it. Cookie tried to hand some spray into the ring, but Hemme stopped her, and Lethal hit the Lethal Injection and Robbie E loses the belt to Lethal! Not a four star classic, but one of the best matches I've seen in a long time. Letal and Hemme look cute together, and dare I say, Hemme is hot.

There was a great deal of backstage segments between matches. There was some interview segments, some interesting different points of interest, nothing too fascinating, and then Douglas Williams got beat up by Aj Styles in the women's locker room. It looked bad. Williams was knocked out cold, and he eventually left. Erik Young and Orlando Jordan did a bunch of weird segments too, it was gross.

Erik Young & Orlando Jordan defeated Generation Me

Any momentum that Tna Impact had going into this tag team match up, was lost when this match happened. This match was lopsided and was terrible. Orlando Jordan won the match with a submission and he was dressed up as a hooters girl, I kid you not. Generation Me is buried here, and just jobbed out for no apparent reason. It was terrible.

Tara & Madison Rayne defeated Mickie James & Miss Testmaker

This was a terrible match, but it had an interesting continuation of the Tara and Mickie feud. Mickie James was knocked out cold, and eventually lost the match. It was terrible.

Rob Terry is back, and he said screw you to Kaz. It was interesting, as they might be able to build up into a feud.

Bubba Ray Dudley defeated Amazing Red

Amazing Red was completely buried here, or not completely. Red was able to get in a little bit of offense, but he's being wasted here. He got obliterated by Bubba then afterwards he was getting beat up too.

Notice that there is no follow up with Shark Boy, even though he was at the ppv.

Devon came out and saved Amazing Red.

RVD defeated Rob Terry

Despite having a nice back and forth match, and despite my love for RVD in the past, this match wasn't his best. Rob Terry returning didn't get the job done as RVD put on his four moves of doom and hit the frog splash and won this match. Rob Terry got in a lot of great moves, but RVD no sold a lot of it, which was stupid to me. Oh well.

I liked Rob Terry and Orlando Jordans feud set up earlier this year, but they dropped the ball on all levels, and this match was just a throwaway. Let's hope they go back to that earlier feud or else, I'm going back to sleep.

Jeff Jarrett beat up some random idiot from the crowd. It was sad. Jarrett needs to get completely killed by someone.

Jeff Hardy & Kaz defeated Ken Anderson & Matt Morgan

This match actually had some good points to it. Anderson, despite playing up his injury, was in there like a house on fire. He was able to throw in some great offense, and Matt Morgan also had a lot of great points. He hit a huge leg drop towards the end of the match, and was able to help Anderson carry this match. Hardy looked drunk, Kaz was a sidenote. A ref bump set up Anderson going to the top rope, but he was thrown off by Rob Terry! Terry turns heel?!? The twist of Hate was hit and the ref counted 3! The bad guys win again.

This match sucked, this match was stupid, but no, there was a swerve heel turn and Rob Terry turned heel!

TNA Impact wasn't as bad as past weeks. I liked the opening match a lot, the end was ok too. I don't agree with Anderson needing to be busted open, but he looked good in this match and so was Morgan. I finally enjoyed watching TNA, even if it wasn't their best offering.

Lastly, I ask any reader out there that uses amazon online to utilize the links on the site to purchase TNA or WWE goods. Thank You.

TNA Final Resolution 2010 Results and Review

TNA Final Resolution 2010 Results

Beer Money defeated Ink Inc
Tara defeated Mickie James in a falls count anywhere match
Robbie E defeated Jay Lethal w/ Cookie In A Cage Above Ringside via disqualification
RVD defeated Rhino in a first blood match
Douglas Williams defeated Aj Styles for the Television Title
The Motor City Machine Guns defeated Generation Me
Abyss defeated The Pope
Jeff Jarrett defeated Samoa Joe in a submission match
Jeff Hardy defeated Matt Morgan in the tna title match

TNA Final Resolution 2010 Review

Beer Money defeated Ink Inc

Not exactly what I would've expected from the opening match at a ppv, but this match haed a few moments of good overall amount of wrestling. I liked the chemistry in ring, but I didn't care for the lack of storyline here. Beer Money would eventually get the pin, and that was that. It was a forgettable match up.

Tara defeated Mickie James in a falls count anywhere match

I've seen a lot of "Falls Count Anywhere" matches, and some of them have been good. I've seen some terrible matches with the stipulation as well, and this match was the worst of them all. The worst women's wrestling match I've ever seen, seriously, this match was stupid. It went throughout a great deal of the arena, and the two just brawled, straight into the toilet! There was a guy reading the paper at one point, that was kind of funny, but other than that, this was stupid, the worst match I've seen in a long time. Madison Rayne was in one of the stalls and used a fire extinguisher to help Tara win the match up. Terrible Terrible match...Mickie James gets pinned on the men's room floor!

Robbie E defeated Jay Lethal w/ Cookie In A Cage Above Ringside via disqualification

Robbie E and Jay Lethal can string across a watchable match, despite the lame gimmick. I liked the match for what it was, and there were some nice back and forth moments. Lethal's offense complimented Robbie's style from time to time, and it was interesting to see Cookie above the ring in a cage as a nice throwback to the old school wrestling. At one point, Jay Lethal crashed into Robbie E and this match turned bad. Robbie E was thrown a chain then some hair spray and Jay Lethal was disqualified Lethal for using some hairspray...yep...dq finish.

Out of nowhere, Shark Boy came out. That's right, Shark Boy came out. Shark Boy got slapped by Cookie, but eventually hit a Shark Boy Stunner and that was that.

RVD defeated Rhino in a first blood match

One of the worst matches I've seen on ppv in a while. RVD looked winded within 5 to 10 minutes of this match, Rhino took some offense and gave RVD an ok match up, but overall, this match just wasn't that fun to watch. It was just boring to me. RVD hit a Van Terminator from across the ring and Rhino was busted open, and that was the end of the match up. Yep. RVD wins, and I'm not sure why anyone would care.

Douglas Williams defeated Aj Styles for the Television Title

These two have a good amount of offense, and I think that the two could've made this a four start classic. Instead, this match had a lot of boring moments, and then some of the BEST moves outside the ring I've seen. Doug Williams hit Rolling Chaos on the outside! This match looked like a video game at one point and I was just completely immersed, towards the end of the match. Aj STyles would eventually fall to Williams when Williams hit a Styles Clash on AJ! Doug wins and is the new champion! Not a four star classic, but a good finish, and some nice sequences, hopefully the booking gets better from here on out because Doug Williams has some nice moves in his stable.

The Motor City Machine Guns defeated Generation Me

I can't believe that these types of matches only happen in TNA, that being said, this was an insane amount of independent style wrestling on a ppv. The two teams fought and hit moves from off teh top rope, off of ladders and a variety of different points, making this spot fest entertaining. THe two really just put on a circus of moves for the tag titles that wasn't half bad, but there were some moments that just seemed too cartoonish for even wrestling. A three star match was found here, and I liked it enough, even if Generation Me didn't win.

Abyss defeated The Pope

THe worst downfall in the history of wrestling has to be the fall of The Black Pope. He was doing quite well going into this February's ppv, and now? He's feuding with the worst wrestler in the world, Abyss in a Casket Match? Ugh. This match was stupid, it was void of anything worth mentioning. This was just stupid, I didn't want to watch it, and when The Pope was chokeslammed into the casket and the lid was shut, I finally cared. Yes, I cared because it was over, and I was hoping NEVER TO SEE THE POPE VS ABYSS AGAIN! What a waste of Pope, and what a terrible wrestler Abyss is...I hate him.

Jeff Jarrett defeated Samoa Joe in a submission match

I didn't think that TNA's ppv could get any worst, than this match happened. Jeff Jarrett and Samoa Joe in a submission match? This was just the worst match I've seen in a long time. I really hated it, and the crowd hated it too. Joe sucks these days, Jarrett sucks too, and I was just tired of this match at various points. Jarrett was going to tap, but the TNA security guys ran down and helped Double J. Jarrett then put an Ankle Lock on Joe and guess what? SAMOA JOE QUIT! That's right, DOUBLE J goes over....ugh..what a bunch of bs.

Jeff Hardy defeated Matt Morgan w/ special guest Ken Anderson

This match had a lot of moments that got me interested, but overall, it just wasn't a great match. Anderson called this thing down the middle, and Morgan had this thing won at several points during the match. Anderson got knocked out of the ring and was down while Morgan pinned Hardy after a Carbon Footprint. Bischoff came down and threw Anderson into a post and Bischoff got a new ref for the match. This thing was headed into no man's land, as Morgan looked poised to lose to Hardy and the cheaters. A new ref was in...Morgan was in control, and there was only 3 minutes left, I pegged Morgan to win, but I kind of senses that I was wrong. Hardy hit a Twist of Hate into a chair and won the match. Yep, Hardy wins again...in one of the worst matches I've seen in a long time. Hardy wins...ugh....TNA Sucks.

Someone buy out Tna.

TNA Impact 11/11/10 Results and Review

TNA Impact 11/11/10 Results

Robbie E & Cookie defeated Jay Lethal & Taylor Wilde
Samoa Joe defeated Two Security Guys via DQ
Kaz defeated RVD
Aj Styles defeated Stevie Richards
Matt Morgan defeated Beer Money & Doug Williams

TNA Impact 11/11/10 Review

TNA Impact opened up with Fortune or Immortal or something in the ring. It looked stupid, and I was already dreading the show.

TNA has a new world's title belt. It is the worst looking belt you'll ever see. It looks like a complete disaster of a world title belt, it's worse than the divas belt...it's really really sad.

The Pope, Matt Morgan, and Samoa Joe came out and started talking to the immortal unit or whatever....they issued a challenge.

Robbie E & Cookie defeated Jay Lethal & Taylor Wilde

This match wasn't all that great at all. In fact, it was boring. Lethal lost and that was that. This match was just dumb. Robbie E needs a new guy to feud with, unless Lethal can step it up somehow.

Brother Ray turned on Devon. Yep...they split up.

Samoa Joe defeated Two Security Guys via DQ

Samoa JOe was beating up security guys, and then was jumped by Double J. Eventually Kurt Angle made the save, but this was stupid. Joe is a chump, Double J is the biggest Heel in a long time, and Kurt Angle? I thought he retired.

Kaz defeated RVD

This match was terrible, it was short, and it didn't really do much for either match. Rhino ran in and turned on RVD and I guess he was the "mole" or something. Who cares? I don't. RVD sucks, Ev2.0 sucks...i'm sick of this stuff.

Aj Styles defeated Stevie Richards

Stevie Richards put up a good battle against Aj Styles. Styles really did a number on Richards, and hit a style's clash in which he literally BROKE Stevie Richards neck! Seriously, it was the sickest bump in recent yeras, and Richards neck looked like it broke in half...he was carted away. It's never a good thing to see. Styles wins, but Richards really loses here.

Matt Morgan defeated Beer Money & Doug Williams

This was a train wreck of sorts. Matt Morgan gains a title shot by pinning Douglas Williams. Morgan beat up Beer Money, Ric Flair and then pinned Doug Williams, it was terrible. Terrible!

Tna was a load of crap...man...I'm sick of TNA. The main event was at least passable.

TNA Turning Point 2010 ppv Results and Review

TNA Turning Point 2010 PPV Results

Robbie E defeated Jay Lethal in the x division championship match
Tara vs. Mickie James (no contest)
The Motor City Machine Guns defeated Team 3D
RVD defeated Tommy Dreamer
Fortune defeated EV2.0
Abyss defeated The Pope
Jeff Jarrett defeated Samoa Joe
Jeff Hardy defeated Matt Morgan

TNA Turning Point 2010 PPV Review

I'm late on this one, but that's ok...I think.

Robbie E defeated Jay Lethal in the x division championship match

I kind of miss the "Black Machismo" gimmick. However, I'll settle for this "cruiserweight" Jay, as many of us must do. The match really favored Robbie E in this match, he was generating a lot of heat with his offense. When he slapped on the Abdominal Stretch, the crowd was all over him in terms of heat, and a lot of other points featured the crowd crapping on the Jersey Shore knockoff. Jay Lethal had some offense, but after a distraction from Cookie, Robbie E hit his neckbreaker (rude awakening) and won the match up. He is now the new X-Division champion.

The match was ok. I'm not a big fan of "hot shotting" the title to a new comer, but I'm ok with it. Hopefully Robbie E could make the belt mean more, and have legit competition. His character based gimmick could actually work out quite well.

Tara vs. Mickie James (no contest)

This match was either double countout or simply no contest. The women fought from the ring to the outside, and just kept fighting. This wasn't a match as much as it was a brawl. It eventually turned into a street fight. It was ok, but I'm tired of the "Hardcore Country" gimmic. I didn't love the match, but I also didn't hate it, so I guess it passes.

The two ended up in the middle of the ring, after the match just fighting and in the end...stripping each other's clothes off?!? Yeah, the segment ended oddly, and I'm not sure where they were going with it...I'm sure the feud will eventually come to more matches.

The Motor City Machine Guns defeated Team 3D

This match was billed as Team 3D's last match. It was back and forth, with lots of counters, lots of different momentum changes, lots of hits and misses, and heavy impact moves from both teams. Every big move was kicked out of, every big move was hit, and towards the end the story became, "no one has ever kicked out of 3D" and of course, that was over...as the Machine Guns picked up the win and that was it...I guess that's the end of Team 3D? ok.

I read that Team 3D just signed new 3 year contracts, so I'm not sure what's next for that team. Single's Competition? Road Agents? I don't know.

RVD defeated Tommy Dreamer

This match was painful to watch. These two are way past their prime and each of them showed signs of aging. The match eventually was won by RVD, with little to no fan fare. I didn't care of this match, and it just looked tiring. I'm tired of watching these idiots...I don't even know what it proved.

Fortune defeated EV2.0

This match sucked...another parade of "old men". Sabu was pinned and this match was over. Sabu is fired, I guess. This match was boring, and sucked. Sorry, it just didn't have a lot to it, and this Fortune & Immortan thing is so confusing. Plus, who kidnapped Samoa Joe? Just sayin.

Abyss defeated The Pope

The Pope got a lot of offense against Abyss, but that didn't matter. No one cared...at least I didn't. Abyss wins...again. I'm sick of Abyss, he's the worst character/wrestler going in TNA today. The Pope had his "congregation" at ringside, and Eric Bischoff got them to turn on Pope and beat him up. That was that.

No one cares.

FIRE ALL THE TNA WRITERS!

Jeff Jarrett defeated Samoa Joe

Samoa Joe losees, this sucks. Joe got choked out with a night stick, and the security guys helped Double J win. There was a ref bump, there were a few moments that were ok, but overall...Joe gets buried. I hate this, you hate this, ugh...they sucked the life out of TNA's ppv tonight.

Jeff Hardy defeated Matt Morgan

Not exactly a four star classic, but it was watchable. Matt Morgan put up a good overall fight, but he couldn't take out Hardy for too long and Hardy managed to pick up a victory. NO ONE CARED! Hardy worked on Morgan's knee, and Morgan no sold much of it. A twist of fate got the win...who cares....I'm sick of TNA.

TNA Impact 11/4/10 Results and Review

TNA Impact 11/4/10 Results

Sarita defeated Velvet Sky
Generation ME & Tara Ink Inc & Mickie James
Kaz defeated Doug Williams
Aj Styles defeated Rhyno and RVD
The Pope vs Abyss

TNA Impact 11/4/10 Review

The alternative wrestling program started with a recap of last week. Apparently Matt MOrgan has turned face? I don't know....we'll find out tonight.

Bischoff laid out an open challenge, we got a call from ANderson, lots of recap...EV2.0 was going nuts backstage...oh well.

Sarita defeated Velvet Sky

I think it was Velvet Sky, I don't know. Sarita won with ease, and put down a nice Sit Down Power Bomb! The best part was the finish, the rest? Not much to enjoy, another Knockouts match come and gone.

Generation ME & Tara Ink Inc & Mickie James

Mickie James' gimmick sucks. Hardcore Country? Hardcore Boring. This match had some ok back and forth action, but it wasn't all that great. Ink Inc won the match after Mickie James knocked out one of the bucks with a nice kick. Overall ok match up, but I didn't really care.

Post match the bad guys beat up the good guys...blah blah.

Double J cut a promo, and out ran Samoa Joe to beat him up. JOe beat up the security idiots, than tried to get Double J, but couldn't. I still don't know who kidnapped Samoa Joe, and I don't really care about his character.

Aj Styles defeated Rhyno and RVD

This was a slow moving, boring match. Aj Styles won eventually, but it was boring.

EV2.0 hit the ring and tried to get things back in order etc...who cares. EV2.0 is falling apart and RVD doesn't trust them.

Kaz defeated Doug Williams

I'm not sure why they had this match, it was a waste of time and boring. Kaz eventually picked up the win, but who cares. This was seriously boring. Same old bad TNA booking, short matches with no focus...ugh.

The Pope vs Abyss

AByss hit a bunch of random fans...I guess? I don't know what's going on...it's stupid. Abyss sucks. The Pope used to be good, now? He's involved with stupid matches...ugh...I'm sick of this crap. The match didn't work well and eventually just went to a no contest or dq...I don't know.

Bischoff wanted to fight Anderson, and it never happened. Bischoff beat up Jeremy Borash and that was that...Impact finished with Matt Morgan showing up instead of Anderson and taking out Bischoff. Of course "We are out of time" on impact...whatever...I hate TNA these days.

WORST IMPACT IN A LONG TIME! I'm so tired of bad wrestling from TNA...they used to be so good, now they are just WCW 2000 all over again.

TNA Impact 10/28/10 Results

Robbie E defeated Jay Lethal in a New Jersey Street Fight
Tara, Madison Rayne, and Sarita defeated The Beautiful People & Mickie James
The Motor City Machine Guns defeated Generation Me and Ink Inc
Douglas Williams & Aj Styles defeated Raven & RVD
Matt Morgan defeated Jeff Jarrett in a Chain Match

TNA Impact 10/28/10 Review

Could TNA Impact be good two weeks in a row? Maybe it could, maybe it couldn't. One thing is for sure, they hooked me last week, let's see if they can do it again.

We start the show with Mickie James fighting Tara backstage. It was a psuedo street fight, and it looked interesting enough. Madison Rayne helped Tara, and out ran The Beautiful People to help fight off Tara. Then out came Sarita? I don't know...everyone looks the same to me now.

Ric Flair came down to help calm things down, and he was about to fight the women, but didn't throw a punch! He kept getting slapped, which was hilarious!

Ric Flair started making matches, and what not, which was interesting enough.

The Pope was rolling a casket into the arena.

The Pope cut a promo on Abyss. Abyss then cut a promo, and then started shoving fans, and that's about it. This was stupid. I HATE, ABSOLUTELY HATE ABYSS! ABYSS SUCKS, HE IS THE WORST TNA WRESTLER OF ALL TIME! That's right, FIRE ABYSS!

Robbie E defeated Jay Lethal in a New Jersey Street Fight

This match was in fact just a standard street fight. It didn't exactly have "classic" written anywhere on it, and it was just your standard brawl. It's odd to see a "street fight" instead of a true x-division match, considering that the whole point of the division is to showcase cruiserweights and their overall stayle of wrestling. Cookie sprayed Lethal in the face with hairspray or something, and Robbie E hit a nice neckbreaker for the win! Robbie E wins.

Robbie E won a title shot.

EV2.0 were in the ring, and RVD was called out. RVD was NOT having it and wanted to beat up Raven and Sabu...but out came Ric Flair with Fortune or the Immortals, or I don't know who.

Tara, Madison Rayne, and Sarita defeated The Beautiful People & Mickie James

Mickie James is NOT the same as she was in WWE. She's not that good, and it shows when in this match up. There were a few good spots, let's not throw away the whole division here, but it's not nearly as good as 2 years ago. This match was ok at best, and it had a few good moments. Sarita got the win after the match broke out into a full blown brawl.

Backstage the pope and abyss brawled.

The Motor City Machine Guns defeated Generation Me and Ink Inc

This match was very rushed. Spot for spot, this was nothing too complicated, but it had enough momentum to showcase the talents of all the teams. Generaion Me stopped the title change when Ink Inc had this thing sewn up. The Machine Guns got the win, and that was that. This match was so fast, that it didn't have much of an impact, and therefore, was actually not that great. Generation Me's promo was quite good before the match started, but the actual match? Not good by any stretch of the imagination.

Post match, Team 3D challened the Motor City Machine Guns to a title match.

Douglas Williams & Aj Styles defeated Raven & RVD

This match was not good at all. It was terrible, one of the worst tag team matches I've seen in a long time. Douglas Williams and Aj Styles argued amongst themselves. They worked with each other well enough, but this match was just a cluster of moves and random movements. Raven was taken out by Flair, RVD got mad at him...I didn't care. You didn't miss much.

Mr Anderson was supposed to fight Jeff Jarrett but Matt Morgan came in to stop the match from taking place. Matt Morgan was the sound of reason here, and Double J antagonized him to the point where Anderson was replaced by Matt Morgan.

Matt Morgan defeated Jeff Jarrett in a Chain Match

Did Matt Morgan just turn face? I don't know. Jarrett got completely manhandled in this chain match. Eventually, Jarrett hit the Stroke and won, which was surprising to me. Morgan was busted open, and while he got the last laugh, this match was won by Jarrett.

Post match Morgan beat up Jarrett, but Fortune or Immortal or somebody came down and beat up Morgan. The group then "hanged" Matt Morgan by some chains! Yep. No one came down for the save, that was it. TNA sucks.

It's official, TNA Impact sucked. I don't care about any of the story lines, nothing really makes that much sense. The wrestling sucked...ugh...last week was way better, way better.

on a side note, I bought Fire Pro Wrestling 2 for my GBA, it's fun. Best wrestling game on a handheld by Nintendo yet. Well, except for that really early WWF game I used to play a lot.

TNA Impact 10/21/10 Results

Robbie E defeated Amazing Red
Aj Styles defeated The Pope in a street fight
Beer Money defeated RVD & Sabu
Mickie James defeated Sarita
Kazarian defeated Ken Anderson in an Ultimate X Match

TNA Impact 10/21/10 Review

The show starts with a recap, and the recap is FAR better than the actual show from last week. It's actually intriguing, not having to watch the whole thing unfold for an hour or so with NO wrestling.

Ken Anderson got in ring and talked about how he wants to get Hardy back and another title shot, but RVD came out to talk about how HE deserves the title shot, since he never lost. Then on the screen came Jeff Hardy with an apology...a "raven" style apology.

Eric Bischoff then came out on the mic to talk. He said to tune into reaction...I doubt anyone is watching that show. I know I'm not.

He set up some matches...and I was already trying to poke my own eye out.

Robbie E defeated Amazing Red

This was a very short, very dull moving match. Amazing Red isn't half bad, and Robbie E took a lot of shots before hitting a Diamond Cutter. NO it's NOT the RKO, Robbie E does it like DDP, and it looked nice.

The fans were all chanting "boring". I didn't hate it, I think Robbie has skills, he'll just need other opponents. I'm going to go on a limb and say that Robbie E reminds me of The Model Ric Martel...there I said it. He'll need more in ring and promo work to match the Model though.

The pope cut a promo from a strip club.

After a lot of random backstage crap and "Winter" debuting, it came time for a Street Fight for the Television Championship!

I'm a fan of good street fights, that being said, it's been a LONG time since I've seen a good street fight. I'd say, not since the late 90's have I seen a quality pro-wrestling street fight.

Aj Styles defeated The Pope in a street fight

The match started on the ramp and then quickly got into the ring, and instead of offsetting moves, the two were literally exchanging right's and left's for a good part of the match. The match was looking to turn into a wrestling match when Abyss ran in and beat up The Pope. The rules stated that Fortune couldn't interfere, and I guess Abyss is NOT a member of Fortune?!? Whatever. Abyss hit the Black Hole Slam and then Aj Styles pinned The Pope and this was over. Not a great match, but I didn't hate the way it turned out, it's sketchy, but I'll take whatever wrestling I can get at this point.

Backstage The Pope got in Samoa Joe's face and Joe said to get out of his face...and Joe said he has "no ones" back.

And now, WHO KIDNAPPED SAMOA JOE!!?!?!!!

Generation Me and The Machine Guns had a little altercation in the parking lot.

Double J cut a promo about how he's awesome and what not...ugh...

Samoa Joe came out to confront Double J and the two brawled, with help from TNA security. They then handcuffed Samoa Joe!!!! Joe tried to fight back but it was 3 on 1, and Joe was getting beat down like crazy! Woo! Joe is a chump, face it! I kind of like Double J's shirt, with the skulls and the guitar, not bad.

Mike Tenay started going nuts on the announce table, as Taz listened in, and that was that. Tenay looked seriously pissed.

Beer Money defeated RVD & Sabu

This match was a train wreck, it was seriously bad. Despite all that, the closing moments weren't half bad. Sabu threw a chair and it hit RVD in the head, and they lost to Beer Money.

Post match, RVD and Sabu started to brawl, and EV2.0 ran out to stop them.

Mickie James defeated Sarita

Sarita and Mickie James actually had a wrestling match. Yep, a real wrestling match, something that hasn't been seen in a long time with TNA. The match started relatively awkwardly and took a little while to get going, but once it got going, it wasn't half bad. The win came after one of the worst kicks I've ever seen.

Post match, Tara ran in and beat up Mickie James.

Kazarian defeated Ken Anderson in an Ultimate X Match

Anderson was beat up in the backstage area, and was then fed to Kazarian. Anderson had his shoulder taped up, and ran in and tried to give some offense, but like the old saying goes, what good is a "one armed man, in a butt kicking contest?" and that was the theme of this match up. Kazarian wasn't having the easiest time, but it just looked like he was going to win with relative ease against a one handed Anderson. Anderson at one point caught Kazarian coming off the X wire and right into the MIC Check, which was quite good! Anderson reached under the ring and found a ladder! Anderson was on top of the ladder and ready to get the X when Fortune ran down and hit Anderson with a nice sit out Powerbomb from Matt Morgan. Kaz was then just lifted to the top of the X and he won the match! Matt Morgan is a legit 7 feet tall, wow...he is huge. Kazarian wins with help. I actually liked this match, it was more than watchable, and light years ahead of a lot of TNA's previous efforts.

Post match, Anderson got a pipe and cleared the ring, but out ran Jeff Hardy and hit Anderson with a very hard chair shot to the back of the head. It looked bad...and Anderson was busted open in the back of the head! I've never really seen a blade job to the back of the head, but it was odd. Hardy then put Anderson's arm inside the ladder and hit it with the chair! Anderson's essentially dead here.

I loved the ending of TNA, and dare I say, it's the best show in wrestling thanks to that awesome ending, and the culmination of the main event. I liked it, wow....Anderson looks legit' hurt. Hardy then argued with the fans, and that was awesome too. Wow...I actually liked TNA Impact...it's a rarity folks, a real rarity.

The end of the show featured Ric Flair and Eric Bischoff in the back of an SUV and Kurt Angle showing up and breaking the back windshield open! Angle then ran away....wow...not bad.

TNA Impact 10/14/10 Results and Review

TNA Impact 10/14/10 Results

Madison Rayne defeated Tara for the knockouts title
Fortune defeated The Pope
Samoa Joe defeated Abyss via dq
RVD vs Ken Anderson (no contest)

TNA Impact 10/14/10 Review

TNA tried to pull a WCW 1996 on the ppv, and you know what? It was one of the biggest lackluster things in a long time, and NO i'm not just jaded on wrestling, it's agreed upon across a lot of podcasts, and wrestling websites.

Abyss, Hogan, Double J and Jarrett all cut promos to start the show off.

They kept talking, but out came Fortune. Flair started to cut a promo about how Fortune is running things.

Flair and Hogan were set to square off, and instead of fighting they hugged! Yep. Fortune is now part of "THEY" too. Wow...so stupid.

OUt came Jeff Hardy, the champ....mind you this is 20 minutes into the show, and no wrestling. Hardy cut a promo, and he didn't have a lot of paint on or anything.

Out came Sting and Kevin Nash.

Kevin Nash got on the mic and cut a "nice guy" promo and said that this time he's NOT going to join "THEY" and just walk away.

Sting got on the mic, and he cut a "nice guy" promo too. Sting walked away too. They just left.

Bischoff got on the mic and said that Sting and Nash would be at home getting FAT, and that's that. 30 minutes of the show was dedicated to "THEY" going off. I remember this same angle 10 years back or so....called the NEW WORLD ORDER. Yep.

Backstage Dixie was asking Sting & Nash to stay, but they walked out. Hogan and Bischoff then confronted Dixie and she slapped the crap out of Bischoff!!!! Wow...backstage...Dixie gave her best performance, and Hogan totally talked her down! Wow. Compelling? Not really, but eh, whatever, I'll take what I can get.

Dixie was thrown out of Hogan's office, and Serj (Dixie's husband) got knocked the EFF out! Hahah. 35 minutes into the show, still no wrestling.

Madison Rayne defeated Tara for the knockouts title

In a "finger poke" of doom match, Tara gave up the belt. Tara laid down for Madison Rayne.

Dare I say, 40 minutes into the show and still NO wrestling.

Mickie James came out and challenged Madison...yawns ensued.

45 minutes and no wrestling.

Kurt Angle came down and cut a promo.

Kurt Angle then got beat down by Double J after he came out and cut a promo on Angle. Angle was handcuffed and beaten and battered, and that was that. Tazz came off the booth and helped Angle, and that was that. Angle's done...Double J has a ruthless streak? That's that...bye bye Angle...I hope he goes to WWE and feuds with the All American, American, American, American, American.

52 minutes and NO wrestling.

We get to see Samoa Joe walking around some beach. He cut a promo on Double J.

So 50+ minutes before we finally get a wrestling match, if you can call it that.

Samoa Joe defeated Abyss via dq

This wasn't much of a match, it was just Abyss dominating Samoa Joe for the most part. Joe did manage an insane move by diving through the middle ropes and taking out Abyss, but other than that, it was just Abyss beating up Samoa Joe. Joe won via dq, and that prompted RVD to come out. Abyss then beat up JOe. But RVD saved the day...kind of.

Ugh...what a terrible night of wrestling.

RVD cut a promo on Hardy. Ugh....

Fortune defeated The Pope

The Pope fought all of Fortune. It's interesting to me that Fortune cheated to win, 5 on 1. Whatever. The Pope got buried, and that's that. I didn't hate the match, and I'm ok with a 5 on 1 beat down, I just wish there was more wrestling on the show.

The Shore had a promo with some chick from the real show...nothing I remembered happened there.

RVD vs Ken Anderson (no contest)

Anderson and RVD put on an ok match for tv. There were some nice reversals from Anderson, but the crowd wasn't at all into this match up. RVD looked winded after 5 or so minutes, and that's just sad. Anderson carried most of the match, even countering the Five Star Frog Splash and Rolling THunder, but it was painfully obvious that this match wasn't going to get a finish...yet again.

Bischoff came down, pulled the ref, and out ran Jeff Hardy. Hardy beat up Anderson and RVD with a chair. Yep. That'sit.

The last moment was awesome.

Hardy hit a Twist of Fate on RVD onto a chair that had Anderson's arm in it. SICK finisher!

TNA is terrible, the non finish matches, the 1 hour of setting up the second half of the show...NO x-division match, no tv title match, no tag team titles match...geez...why even have a wrestling show?

Oh and WHO KIDNAPPED SAMOA JOE??!?!?!?

TNA Impact 8/12/10 The Whole FN Show Results and Review

TNA Impact 8/12/10 Results

Kurt Angle defeated Aj Styles
Angelina Love defeated Madison Rayne
Matt Morgan defeated The Pope & Mr. Anderson in a triple threat match
Jeff Hardy defeated Shannon Moore
The Motor City Machine Guns defeated Beer Money
RVD defeated Abyss in a Stairway to Janice Match

TNA Impact 8/12/10 Review

Kurt Angle defeated Aj Styles

Yes, this match was ppv caliber, yes, there were some great spots. I didn't hate this match, but it was really hard for me to suspend disbelief and assume that Kurt could lose here. Aj's new tattoo is so stupid looking. There were botches, which was relatively rare to see from these two...well not that rare but still. Angle looked like he was injured on a ddt, but he was playing hurt to get an Angle Slam in on Styles. Angle is NOT looking good, as he was severely winded in this match going on 7 minutes. Aj Styles taps out in one of the most predictable matches I've ever seen in my life.

Angelina Love defeated Madison Rayne

This match sucked. I hate the knockouts. The best part was the biker woman was almost de-masked. They took her helmet off but she had a mask on, and ran away. I think it was Madison Rayne...I can't tell anyone apart in this division any longer. The Whole F'N show sucks.

Matt Morgan defeated The Pope & Mr. Anderson in a triple threat match

This match was terribly booked. This was a big cluster, and while there was a few spots that I thought could've ended up well, it just wasn't done very well or clean. Anderson didn't even break a sweat here. He hit the MIC check on The Pope and Morgan ran in to get the pinfall victory. What could've been a quality match was ruined by lazy wrestling from all men involved.

Jeff Hardy defeated Shannon Moore

Shannon Moore is the mystery opponent? This is stupid. The match went longer than it should've and it wasn't terrible, but no one cares about these two right now. Jeff is getting fatter. Shannon Moore was hit with the Swanton and that was that...Hardy wins against a glorified jobber.

The Motor City Machine Guns defeated Beer Money

I am the only person that HATES seeing essentially 7 matches between these guys. I AM SICK OF SEEING THESE TWO TEAMS! I like the tag division, but I HATE repetition to this extent. This match was ok, but it seemed rushed and was a majority of high spots with no major psychology. I'm sick of seeing this crap. this match sucked, I said it. Their last match sucked, and aside from maybe 1 of the matches, this series SUCKED! It's painfully obvious that there's a lack of tag teams in TNA and in pro wrestling altogether.

RVD defeated Abyss in a Stairway to Janice Match

Eric Bischoff was the guest referee. RVD and Abyss had an extreme match that didn't see that stupid Janice thing come into play. Oh and RVD won via PINFALL! WHAT A LOAD OF CRAP! FIRE ALL THE TNA WRITERS! SERIOUSLY FIRE ALL OF THEM! This match was a cluster of stupidity, with just such terrible spots...who cares! I'm sick of this crap..so sick of this crap...what a terribl show, what a terrible match what a terrible show...RVD needs to just start getting better opponents.

The TNA people kept talking about HULK HOGAN having a great surprise. They hyped it at every turn. HOGAN came out with PYRO and after the main event, HOGAN came out and was getting a nice ovation. It was so stupid! I'm sick of watching this piece of crap. HOgan praised RVD and ugh...I'm sorry, this is just so stupid.

HOGAN said SABU was the most dangerous man in the business? Hogan said that about Macho, Luger, The Giant, and so much more. Ugh...Hogan's tired.

EV2 was invited out. All the former ECW guys showed up and that was the surprise? The lights went out and.....

when the lights came back on FOLEY was laid out.

What was it? It was TNA beating up all the EV2.0 guys!

Sandman came down the crowd and he got laid out too.

People were getting pbladed, peaople were getting beat. Out came Abyss and he beat down RVD.

FIRE ALL THE TNA WRITERS! FIRE ALL OF THEM! THIS IS STUPID! EV2.0 vs TNA?!?!?! SERIOUSLY?! This angle is just like the Nexus vs WWE thing....THIS IS SO STUPID!

Remember ECW did an invasion already. It was a ppv called INVASION!

Ric Flair came down to the ring smiling and laughing.

They cut to Abyss and RVD. RVD was full of blood and that was that. He was left in the back bleeing.

Flair then tried to attack Dixie Carter! That's right, FLair was ready to attack DIXIE!

There was a LOT OF BLOOD HERE! THIS IS STUPID THIS WAS THE WORST IMPACT EVER MADE!

RVD was so injured, he'll give up the title and they'll have a tournament.

Remember when Pope was going to get a title shot? Remember the 8 card stud tournament?

TNA SHOULD FIRE ALL THEIR WRITERS FIRE EVERYONE!

OH MY FREAKING....I give up...I haven't seen such a terrible night of wrestling in a long time. I can't believe this is modern professional wrestling. WHAT A LOAD OF CRAP!
